Latest / Throttle to the Floor Podcast / Ep. 84 - NASCAR (Bristol Night), NHRA (Michigan) + High Limit (Hockett McMillin Memorial) Recap
Transcript
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Hey y'all, welcome to tonight's episode of the Thor of Art Podcast.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I'm your host, Will Ernest, here tonight, uh, just myself, but we still got a loaded episode to get to, so we'll jump right into it.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: I want to start with High Limit.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: They were at Lucas Royal Speedway in Missouri this past weekend for the Jesse Hockett Daniel McNullen Memorial.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Um we'll get right to the action uh Thursday.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: But something to remember is uh it was on Thursday, Carrie Madsen was replaced by Brady Bacon in the 55 for the final 10 high limit races this year in an attempt to keep keep eighth in points to secure more money due to high limit's charter system, which they call the High Roar Club.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: This is interesting though, because Madsen's one High Limit win this year was back in April at Lucas Oil Speedway.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: However, Bacon has wins at all of the other remaining tracks on the schedule, so I can understand why they made the driver change.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: But uh Madsen today, he picked up a ride for the rest of this year in the 17 GP car starting tomorrow night at Kokomo, so we'll see what he can do in that ride.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: But in Thursday nights, A-Mane, Geo Celsi, and uh Rico Aber, they battled for the lead to start later on.
- 1:32SPEAKER_00: Bacon ended up wrecking while trying to pass Rico for fourth, and there were some close calls for Brett Marks as he hit the wall off of turn four a couple times, but managed to somehow keep it straight.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And um on Justin Peck's birthday, it looked like he would finally get a high limit win this year, but had to settle for second as Tyler Courtney came all the way from twelfth at the start of the feature to win.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: It's Sunshine's third win at Lucas Wells Bay's second high limit win of the year, a ninth career high limit win.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Peck in second, Selzy in third, as they were all under a blanket with five laps to go, but Courtney pulled away with the rubber line that started to form in the middle of three and four, so there was a lot of extra grip there.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 2:10SPEAKER_00: Um Rico ended up seventh.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Aaron Reitzel back in 13th.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: But Friday night, Reitzel bounced back, set another new track record for the second night in a row.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: He set the track record on Thursday, but he better it on Friday with a 12.6 second lap.
- 2:26SPEAKER_00: But in Friday's A-Mane, it was all the Tanner Thorson show.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: He led all 30 laps, but had to hold off Peck again, who started on pole.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And um, yeah, Justin Peck seven times this year that he's finished second.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: That's just wild.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: He's just trying to get a high limit win this year, but it seems like he's tried just about everything and he's failed every time.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 2:47SPEAKER_00: Scott Baguski third, uh Selzi back in sixth.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Courtney goes from dead last in the feature on Friday all the way up to 10th after winning on Thursday.
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: Reitzel still back in 13th and Rico back in 16th.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: Thors on his fourth win of the year, finally getting that first win at Lucas Oil in his sixth career win with high limit.
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Peck, Thorzen, Selzy and Marks were the four that were locked in on Saturday night's$25,000 to win finale on points-wise, and Saturday night once again proved to be the Tanner Thorsen show.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: As Thorsen drove by Brent Marks on lap five and ran away from there to score$25,000 in the 16th annual Jesse Hockett, Daniel and Milling Memorial, which it was definitely emotional as Thorzen's second year tired specialist TJ Nichols grew up idolizing his cousin, who was Jesse Hockett, the namesake of the event, honoring his family.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: Um so touching moment there.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Thorzen's uh second win at Lucas Orley won Friday night and then uh picked up the big win on Saturday.
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: So now he's got five wins this year.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: Three of them with his new team owner, JST Motorsports, and all of them have come in September, and he's now got seven career high limit wins.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Tyler Courtney ended up second, easily earned the event long hard charger award, passed 30 cars in three nights.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: That's pretty impressive.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: Geo Celsi third, Rico fourth, Marks fifth, Reitzel ninth.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Rico still leads the points with just seven race high limit races left this year as he tries for a second straight title.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: He leads by 101 over Reizel, but Selzi's starting to catch Reitzel for second now.
- 4:23SPEAKER_00: He's just 126 back in third, so Selzi's only got another 25 points to catch Reitzel, so we'll see.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: But high limit after the midweek series finale at Kokomo tomorrow night, which will be live on FS1.
- 4:36SPEAKER_00: They'll race Friday and Saturday night at Eldora with USAC as part of the Four Crown Nationals.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: All three divisions of USAC will be racing as well: wingless sprint cars, midgets, and silver crown cars, so that'll be fun to watch.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: But on to Natray, things got pretty interesting.
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: I in my opinion, NHRA was the most crazy and interesting thing this weekend, besides of course, Bristol, but we'll get to that later.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: But this past weekend was the start of Natrey's countdown to the championship, aka their playoffs consisting of the last six races of the year, and by weekend I meant weekend plus Monday, as Sunday's eliminations from US 131 Motorsports Park in Michigan had to be pushed to Monday due to rain.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: But you may remember that this event, the inaugural Dodge of Great Lakes Nationals, only came about after the whole deal with IHRA buying Maple Grove last December, which I mean recently that that whole thing didn't really go over well.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: IHRA they kind of went into some financial trouble, which caused Maplegrove to close.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: However, they've since announced that they reopened, so time will tell if they end up returning to the NHRA schedule starting in 2028, because next year's schedule for 27's already been released in full.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: So we'll see if they can come back in 28.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Hopefully they can.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Maplegrove's great track, but the fan support in Michigan, despite eliminations being rain pushed to Monday, it's I mean it's still immense.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Um Michigan, it was the first time in 66 years that they hosted the NHRA.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: It was the the last time they did was the 1960 U.S.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Nationals at the now defunct Detroit Dragway.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: The following year, the U.S.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Natsu moved to Indy, where it's been ever since, since 1961.
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: But um some big news on Friday.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Leah Pruitt, after returning this year to Tony Stewart Racing, after being out of the seat for a couple years to have their um first child, Dominic, uh, she will step away again to support her family, but this time it'll be Tony Schumacher joining TSR starting in 2027.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: Leah's husband, Tony Stewart, will not fill in for Leah again at TSR.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: He will stay with Elite Motorsports.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Schumacher will leave Rick Rare Racing at the end of the year.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: He currently le still leads top field all-time in career wins with 87 wins, but he hasn't won since St.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: Louis 2024, almost two whole years ago.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: It's definitely an interesting move, to say the least.
- 7:03SPEAKER_00: I didn't really see that coming.
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: I didn't really see um Leah Pruitt uh leaving NHRA again already after she had just gotten back because she just came back this year, but you know, we'll see how it goes.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: But when it when eliminations finally ran on Monday due to a rain out on Sunday, it was well beyond interesting, honestly.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: It was just straight up incredible.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: Toffuel saw Sean Langdon rewrite the history books yet again as his semifinal against teammate Doug Coletta saw Langdon go a mind-boggling 346.95 miles an hour.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, I can't even believe I'm saying that.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: It smashes the old speed record of 345.00 miles an hour that Langdon also set back at South Georgia back in May.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: I mean, Langdon ran over 345 miles per hour in preseason testing, so I kind of figured 345 could be done in official competition at some point, which it was.
- 7:59SPEAKER_00: But 346 ninety-five?
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's just incredible.
- 8:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, nearly three hundred and forty-seven miles an hour.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: And Langdon was asked if we'd see a 350 mile per hour run, and even he said possibly.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, I don't know.
- 8:15SPEAKER_00: The envelope just continues to be pushed in NHRA and in top field more than just plain and simple, any other motorsports series, period.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: Just argue with the wall at this point.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: And Langdon did go on to win, running a 366-4 at 346.15 miles per hour.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: Now the second fastest speed in NHRA history.
- 8:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he backed up the semifinal run with another insanely quick pass.
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: Um Langdon defeated Spencer Massey in the final, who ran a respectable 376-4 at 327.75 miles per hour for his sixth win of the year, second in a row after winning indie two weeks ago, 28th career win, and Langdon also stays a perfect 3 for 3 on brand new tracks this year after winning at South Georgia and Maryland earlier this year, along with Michigan.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: And um the only other new track left this year is Rockingham next weekend, so we'll see if he goes 4 for 4.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: And Langdon also took the points lead back by 11 points over teammate Doug Coletto.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: But Spencer Massey, that was his first final in 11 years since he won the 2015 Gator Nationals, which is equally as crazy.
- 9:26SPEAKER_00: And he put up a really respectable run.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: The problem is Langdon went out and run and ran the second fastest um run in NHRA history um in miles per hour.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: So yeah, but Langdon's four runs on Monday were 344.04 miles per hour, 342.73 miles per hour, 346.95 miles per hour, which is the new national speed record, and 346.15 miles per hour.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: That is a race day average of 344.97 miles per hour, which is absolutely disgustingly fast.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's almost as fast as the old national speed record that held for about four months until this past weekend.
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, come on now.
- 10:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, I feel like this is the first time we've seen somebody win an event after having all four passes over 340 miles per hour.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: I could be wrong, but I mean, if it is, Langdon just smashed through that.
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: I mean, an average of nearly 345 miles per hour on every single run is just incredible.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: But in funny car, Jordan Vandengriff, his first five passes didn't even make it down the track, including round one of eliminations, as the number 16 and final qualifier.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: So you'd think, oh, okay, well, he's had a horrible weekend to start the countdown.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: Um went up and actually went up against number one qualifier Austin Proc in round one, which you might remember.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: He's won the last two funny car world titles when he was driving for John Force Racing in Vandegriff's car before moving to Tasca and Ford this year.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: But Proc ended up going red by just five thousandths of a second.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: So it handed Vandegriff the round win, sent him to round two, and after that he wouldn't look back.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: You know, screw the fact that he couldn't make the first um five passes worth anything, because he just went couldn't even get down the track, but it didn't matter.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: Vandegriff goes on to defeat Matt Higgin in the final round with a 385-8 at 329.43 miles per hour for just the third win of his career after South Georgia and Sonoma earlier this year.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: But more importantly, Jordan Vandegriff is the first number 16 qualifier to go on to win an event since Del Worsham won at St.
- 11:43SPEAKER_00: Louis in 2003, which is just incredible in its own right.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's like five years before I was born.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: Although I guess St.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Louis in 2003 was in June then, so like four and a half, but still.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's years before I was born.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's been twenty-three years since we've seen that, which is just incredible in its own right.
- 12:06SPEAKER_00: But the win puts Vanegar second in points now, just twenty-three points back of Hagen for the Funny Car points lead.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: So Funny Car, that Funny Car's championship has just been violent this year.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: There's easily like five or six, seven, maybe eight, maybe even eight funny cars on any given weekend that think that they have a chance at winning the championship.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: And I'd really say there's probably about six funny cars right now that could go on and win this championship.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: Hagen, Vandegriff, Caps, Proc, Jarrett Todd, and yeah, yeah, Jack Beckman.
- 12:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'd say him too.
- 12:51SPEAKER_00: So I mean there's there's at least six funny cars that could go on to win this funny car championship, which is just incredible.
- 12:58SPEAKER_00: And obviously, I mean any one of these other funny cars on the countdown can go on the run of their own and do the same thing, but I feel like those six will probably be just duking it out for themselves trying to get this funny car one time.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: I mean, Hagen, Vandegriff, Proc, Caps, J.R.
- 13:17SPEAKER_00: Todd, and Jack Beckman.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's at least six funny cars that can go out and win this world championship and go out and win every week.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: And there's other funny cars that can do the same thing, but just funny car is just crazy this year.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: But Pro Stock, moving on now, ProStock saw Troy Coughlin Jr.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: snap a 41 race win the streak dating back to Epping, New Hampshire of 2024 over two years ago, in defeating Matt Harper with a 651-5 at 209.69 miles per hour for just his sixth career win.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: And gets a diamond wally.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Gets a nice shiny diamond wally to go with that win.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: But Hartford now leads Greg Stanfield by just five points, and both Greg Anderson and Dallas Glenn by 11 points.
- 14:06SPEAKER_00: And Greg Anderson and Dallas Glenn, they both lost within the first two rounds.
- 14:10SPEAKER_00: But you want to talk about losing in the first two rounds.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: Pro Stock Motorcycle with upset had upsets top to bottom, sideways, upside down, uh everywhere.
- 14:19SPEAKER_00: The top four bikes in points going into the countdown, they all went out in the first two rounds.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: All of them.
- 14:27SPEAKER_00: All of them.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: But John Hall emerged from the chaos, defeating first-time finalist Mark Ingerson with a 680 with an eight at 194.22 miles per hour after Ingerson went 001 red, just barely red, which is tragic.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: But it's Hall's first win of the year, second straight win of the first race of the countdown.
- 14:48SPEAKER_00: He won Redding last year as well, and it's his just his fifth career win.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: Defending Pro Stock Motorcycle World Champion Richard Gatson still leads the points, but he leads Hall by just one point and Matt Smith by 25 points.
- 15:02SPEAKER_00: But yeah, what a wild way to start the countdown.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: New speed record.
- 15:06SPEAKER_00: Jordan Vandegriff coming from like the depths of hell does somehow win in funny car.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: Um Troy Coughlin Jr.
- 15:15SPEAKER_00: snapped a over two-year winless streak, and Pro Stock Murdercy led the all all of the top four bikes in points, lose in the first two rounds.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: And then John Hall comes out of nowhere and steals it.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: So I mean, what a wild way to start the countdown.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: But race two of the countdown, it's this weekend.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: We're in it's good, it's race two of three straight to start the countdown.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: As NHRA goes to Rockingham for the inaugural NHRA Nationals at the Rocks.
- 15:41SPEAKER_00: So we'll see how that goes.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: But of course, if we want to talk wild, we have to talk Bristol.
- 15:46SPEAKER_00: Obviously.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Duh.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: We'll start with the trucks.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: Initially, the trucks, it was the lane rig show.
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: He started from the pull after qualifying, was cancelled, swept both stages one and two, but then Riggs, he had a slow pit stop because of the right rear and lost five spots, and both Chandler Smith and Ben Rhodes had pit road penalties.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Jake Garcia took the lead to start stage three.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: Then Riggs night went from bad to worse.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: As he comes into pit road under green with a vibration, he ended up finishing 16 laps down in 32nd after some late contact with, I believe, Nick Lites, I believe.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: So tough night for Riggs.
- 16:21SPEAKER_00: Then there was a caution and a red flag with about 80 to go with fluid on the tr on the track from uh Caden Quaple's engine going away.
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Caden was making his truck debut that night, but it caused Majeski and Chris Wright and Nickolites to all slip in the fluid and have damage.
- 16:37SPEAKER_00: Uh Caden Quaple.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: He ended up finishing 35th in his truck debut, which it's not good, but we'll see.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: Um we'll see what he can do this weekend.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: In the late back in the late mono stock with um Martinsville this weekend, trying to get the grandfather clock the final leg of the Virginia Triple Crown.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: Caden Copple actually leads the Virginia Triple Crown.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: So we'll see what he can do there.
- 17:01SPEAKER_00: But tough night in the truck at Bristol in his truck debut.
- 17:05SPEAKER_00: But on the ensuing restart after the red flag, Caden Honeycutt and Jake Garcia, they were in a fierce battle for the lead with Garcia prevailing after a couple laps, and then Honeycutt had a vibration before caution with under 40 to go saved him from pitting under green, unlike Riggs, who had to pit under green, but Honeycutt pit under the caution.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Stuart Friesen then went to the lead, but Garcia took it back with about 20 to go.
- 17:27SPEAKER_00: And then Chandler Smith was off the pace, had a tire going down with 10 to go.
- 17:33SPEAKER_00: So the top three drivers in the chase all had major problems during the race.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: And Honeycut did come back and finish eighth, but Chandler Smith ended up 24th, and then Riggs, as we mentioned, ended up 32nd.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: So not a good night for really any of them.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: I mean Honeycutt kind of rebounded, but still.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: But it would be Jake Garcia getting his first career truck series win at Bristol of all places after leading 104 laps out of the 250.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: It is 94th series start.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Bailey Curry made his return to the truck series, ran the five truck for Tricon, and he's a finishing second.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: It's a great run for him.
- 18:12SPEAKER_00: Stuart Friesen in third.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: Justin Haley fourth with Ram and colleagues.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: First top five in trucks.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: And it's Rams' first top five since coming back to NASCAR.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: And Tristan McKee in just his third truck start finishes fifth to go along with finishes of eighth and sixth at Richmond and New Hampshire last month.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: And it also goes along with his Arca East title from earlier in the day as he finished second in the Arca slash Arca East race, because it was a combination race, but he finished second in that race to teammate Carson Brown.
- 18:46SPEAKER_00: But Tristan McKee won the Arca East title by three points over Max Reeves.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: And McKee also, he's the youngest to ever finish top five in the truck series third last Thursday night at Bristol, and he did it at just 16 years, one month, and 14 days old.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: That is younger than me.
- 19:08SPEAKER_00: That is terrible.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: I'm sitting over here, I'm over 18 and a half, and McKee's over here finishing top five at Bristol and just over 16 years old.
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: But good for McKee.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, the top five finishers you may notice, they were all non-chase drivers.
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: The RGR Gio Rogero was the best finishing chase driver in sixth.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: And Lane Riggs, despite the issues, still leads the standings by three points over Honeycutt, who, as we mentioned, came back to finish eighth after his vibration, and by thirty over Chandler Smith, who had a tough night, and you'll see in a second.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: Um, our new standings, Evans still leads the standings by 36 over Stacy, 59 over both me and Haley were both tied for third in the points, 223 over Bernardo, 227 over Noah, 280 over Zayn, 382 over Ethan.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: But our picks, I picked Chandler Smith.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: To be honest, I kind of thought he was gonna do better.
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: In the early part of this race, he was doing pretty good.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: He was running um up in the top five and then was right around 10th when his tires just decided to want to die.
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I think literally like the whole like rim or something, like or like the wheel nut or like it broke.
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: Like it was really unusual, but yeah.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: Ended up 24th.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Still got the fastest lap though, so that got me an extra point, but eh, whatever.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: Um Evan ended up with uh Daniel Hemrick finished twelfth, just kind of a quiet night.
- 20:40SPEAKER_00: Same with Haley with Ben Rhodes, it finished 11th, despite coming back from that pit road penalty early.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: Um Stacy with Stuart Friesen finished third, led 10 laps.
- 20:49SPEAKER_00: Looked like Friesen could have gotten the win there for a moment.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Remember um Friesen's second truck, the 62 truck, won with Christopher Bell back in the spring Bristol race.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: So I, you know, it was possible, but just wasn't there, but still a good third place run.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Noah with Gio Ruggiero ended up sixth, was the best of the chase trucks.
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: Ethan with Christian Eckis ended up 30th.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: Eckis had a problem early in this race and just could never recover from it.
- 21:19SPEAKER_00: It might have also been a vibration, I'm not sure.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: And then Zayn with Caden Honeycutt ended up eighth.
- 21:25SPEAKER_00: Led a lap in that battle with him and Garcia before his vibration, but still coming back to finish eighth.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: That's pretty impressive, but that's because he managed to catch a caution at the right time.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: In the O'Reilly series, Jesse Love to the lead from the pole, and then Brent Cruz and Carson Cropple, they were up to second and third past Shadow and Creedy fell back to fourth pretty early.
- 21:46SPEAKER_00: Then there were there were multiple issues, multiple tire issues.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Jed Burton, Roger Carruth, Austin Hill, they all had tire issues.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: They had to pit pit under green.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Justin Algayer won stage one.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: Kwaple ran the race out of Pit Road, however, he had the number.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: One pit stall and all guy was third off the pit road, but he had some damage passing lap cars back in stage one and he put some tape on that damage and it immediately came off as soon as he came off pit road.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And uh so yeah, and then Kwaple goes to the lead and then Natalie Decker spins and she couldn't find reverse, so sounds like Natalie Decker, Natalie Decker experience.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: But yeah, tough deal there.
- 22:26SPEAKER_00: But then more tire issues under Green Lavar Scott and Anthony Alfredo, more tire issues, still no caution though.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Um Quapple goes on to win stage two and led to start stage three, but just over fifty to go.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Quapple had a loose wheel that eventually progressed into a brake line issue, and Algar inherited the lead.
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: Quapple ended up having to fix that and went on to finish four laps down in 24th.
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: It's a disappointing run for Quapple.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: Then um Algar and Taylor Gray, they were first and second with 40 to go before Patrick Starpulle spun on the front stretch, and it just flipped the whole race on its head.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Because on the restart, Love and Algayer, they ran each other up the hill, putting Algar into the wall, allowing Gray to promptly get to Loves inside and run him up the hill into the wall as well.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: Love, I think, had a tire going down and ended up like 17th.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Um, Algayer was able to keep moving.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: He didn't have to pit.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: William Sowalitz then took the lead in through that whole chaos.
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: Uh Sheldon Creed who pit under that caution for new tires, he was up to second out of nowhere.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: And then Ryan Seed got wrecked, and then Creed, he was on the bottom on the overtime restart, which had struggled all day, but Creed had enough on those new tires to just drive away on the bottom and drive away for the win for his third career win.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: But second in the three chase races, he won at Darlington two weeks ago, and now gets the win at Bristol.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: So pretty impressive.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Swallet's second, Cruz third, Algar still ends up fourth, despite Love just running him into the wall, and Corey Day ends up fifth.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: Creed still maintains its points lead that he got the week before at Gateway, because he's got the two wins at Darlington and Gateway, and sandwiched in between is a second, or not wins at Darlington and Gateway, wins at Darlington and Bristol, and then sandwiched in between is a second at Gateway.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: There we go.
- 24:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but maintains his points lead down by 11 over all garden by 37 over Cooper.
- 24:25SPEAKER_00: Picks and standings.
- 24:26SPEAKER_00: I still lead the Riley's points by 95 over Stacy, 202 over Haley, 374 over Evan, 501 over Bernardo, 641 over Noah, 716 over Zayn, 831 over Ethan.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Picks-wise, I did pick Sheldon Creed.
- 24:41SPEAKER_00: So hooray for me.
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: I scored the win.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: I don't know how I did it.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I mean, Creed did put those new tires on, and to be fair, although the truck and O'Reilly's race weren't as bad as the cup cars in terms of tire wear or lack thereof, but you know, chances are even in those two lower series, it's like you put on new tires, it's like it's not like you're gonna be a rocket ship, but Creed on the last couple restarts was a rocket ship.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: It's cause everybody else tried to check each other out.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: Cause Love got into Algayer, who got into the wall, and then Love took the lead, and then Gray got into Love, who got in the wall, and yeah, it was a whole mess.
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: But yeah, Creed leads three laps.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Three laps for the win.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: But it was the important three laps that counted.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: That's all I'm gonna say.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Evan with Taylor Gray ended up sixth, didn't lead, but got the fastest lap, and uh door marks from running Jesse Levin to the wall.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Haley with Justin Algayer ended up fourth, led 49 laps.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Allgayer was in a good position to win this race until Star Pulley spun and all hell broke loose.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: I will say that though.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: Stacy with Sammy Smith ended up 10th.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Very quiet day for Sammy Smith.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Um, as we know that he's gonna leave Junior Motorsports after this year.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: Speaking of junior motorsports, Sam Mayer's leaving Haas Factory team and coming back to Junior Motorsports next year in the one car.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: So that's gonna be very interesting there.
- 26:13SPEAKER_00: Noah Josh Pelicki ended up 31st.
- 26:16SPEAKER_00: Uh Ethan ironically picked Sam Mayer, who ended up seventh.
- 26:20SPEAKER_00: Mayer was up front all night, but he was one of the only guys that ran up front all night and didn't have problems and kept his nose clean.
- 26:33SPEAKER_00: Like he ran top five, top ten all night and kept his nose clean and didn't have problems.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: He was one of the only guys that did that.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And then Zaman Carson Quappel, 24th, um, led the most laps with 156, just tough deal there.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: Quapple if Quapple doesn't have his issues, he probably also would have won this race, but it is what it is.
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: But on to the cup side, I mean man, was this cup race fitting of Bristol or what?
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, if we want to look at this from the whole race standpoint, the race was not great.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it makes sense.
- 27:14SPEAKER_00: The next gen car is not good at Bristol.
- 27:17SPEAKER_00: You can't pass because the tires they wouldn't wear at all.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I mean, Joey Logano won stage one on 125 lap old tires on the tires that he started with.
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: But I mean, just cause, you know, if a race has a memorable moment that we're gonna be talking about for a while, even if the race was awful, it does make that race a little better, and it at least makes that race memorable, because it's like, oh, the person that race, oh, that's when blah blah blah happened in this case, uh Hosevar and Blaney's feud and their fight, and uh more on that later.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: But I don't know.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: I mean, if you want to look at it from a whole race standpoint, yeah, this race wasn't great.
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: But are people gonna remember that this race wasn't great?
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: No.
- 28:06SPEAKER_00: We're gonna remember it for um Hosovar and Blaney's fight and for the beautiful Ty Gibbs tribute car and stuff like that.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: I mean Ryan Blaney won stage two giving Penske a sweep of the stages, but I mean I bet we all forgot that happened because of two things.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: For one, the amazing Cabos tribute car that I just mentioned, driven by Ty Gibbs, and despite damage from getting squeezed three wide by both Alex Bowman and Cole Custer, which I don't even know what that was about.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: Like, Gibbs was there in the middle.
- 28:37SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure what Bowman was doing on the bottom, but whatever.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: But regardless, Gibbs drove like a man possessed.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: He was hanging on old tires until literally like the last restart, led 120 laps, ended up finishing fifth.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: So it's not a win.
- 28:53SPEAKER_00: We all wanted um the Cowboys Tribute Eminem's car to win, but just wasn't meant to be.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: The magic ran out, pretty much.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: And for two, I mean, the real turning point of this whole race, it came with 42 laps to go.
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: It's when Carson was farmer and Blaney.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: They got together for second.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: Blaney got sent to the outside wall, out of the race in 33rd, DNFing after leading 202 laps on the night.
- 29:19SPEAKER_00: Here's my opinion.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: The wreck was Blaney's fault.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: Mostly.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: He came down to block Hosovar who crossed him over heading into turn one with less than 50 to go.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: I mean, did you really think Hosovar would have lifted?
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: No.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: I mean, if this was sure, if this would have happened on lap 200, Hosovar would be more at fault.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: But it's less than 50 to go at Bristol.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: No one's gonna give an inch for anybody.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Should have Hos should Hosovar have lifted?
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 29:52SPEAKER_00: Should Blaney have blocked Hosovar, who was doing a crossover and was to his inside?
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: No.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: Does Blaney deserve like 85 to 90% of the blame?
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 30:05SPEAKER_00: Does Hosovar still deserve a little of the a little bit of the blame?
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: A little bit?
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: If this was lap 200 and you know, um this happened, and would have Hosovar deserved a bunch of the blame?
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Yes, but it didn't occur on lap 200, it occurred with less than fifty lap 50 laps to go at Bristol.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: Which 50 laps to go at Bristol goes by like this.
- 30:29SPEAKER_00: It is gone.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, and you're fighting in the chase.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's just nobody's gonna give an inch for anybody.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: And so, like, m it's mostly Blaney's fault.
- 30:41SPEAKER_00: It's like 85 to 90% Blaney's fault.
- 30:44SPEAKER_00: That's my take.
- 30:46SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, after that, like I said, Gibbs tried hanging on for older tires as long as he could until the final restart with nine laps to go.
- 30:54SPEAKER_00: And then um Gibbs tried leaning on Hosevar into turn one, tried to keep the lead as best as he could with them older tires, but it didn't work.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And Joey Logano was able to come by on the bottom and steal the victory.
- 31:08SPEAKER_00: That's right, after all that we had to sit through.
- 31:10SPEAKER_00: It was a Logano victory.
- 31:12SPEAKER_00: It's Logano's third win of the year, fourth win at Bristol, 40th career win, which ties in with Mark Martin, which is just insane.
- 31:20SPEAKER_00: His 38th win at Team Penske, which makes him the team leader in wins now at Team Penske, which is even more crazy.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: And Logano jumps all the way up to third in points, just 16 back of the points lead.
- 31:34SPEAKER_00: After at one point during the regular season being 20th in the standings.
- 31:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, that's just if you believe in even your Logano, I mean, like, we we can't joke about even your Logano anymore.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: It it's here.
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: It's it's here, it's there, it's lurking.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: It's right there.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: So yeah, we'll see what happens.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: But Kyle Larson ended up second, who now has the points lead by a single point over Denny Hamlin.
- 32:08SPEAKER_00: So um, yeah, we'll see.
- 32:11SPEAKER_00: And we're going to three straight mile and a half these next three weeks with Kansas, Las Vegas, and Charlotte.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: So those three tracks are really gonna suit Larson and Hamlin very well.
- 32:25SPEAKER_00: So to be honest, they might run away from the rest of the field.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Or if we're leading into the even-year Logano drama, Larson, Hamlin, and Logano are gonna run away from the rest of the field, but who knows?
- 32:37SPEAKER_00: We'll see what happens.
- 32:38SPEAKER_00: Hosbar still ended up third.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: Chris Rebelda defending Bristol Night Race winner, a very quiet fourth.
- 32:44SPEAKER_00: Like, we didn't really talk about him all that much.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: He kept his nose clean.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: Very much like Sam Mayer.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Ran up front, kept his nose clean, didn't have problems, finished really good.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: You you can't really say uh that about a lot of the cars that finished up front in any of the races at Bristol this past weekend.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: And then uh Gibbs, who got his first career one at Bristol in the spring, ended up fifth, could not sweep at Bristol, but he sure gave it one hell of an effort.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: I will give him that.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: But um, of course we remember after the race is the fight between Blaney and Hosvar and Pit Road.
- 33:21SPEAKER_00: It's probably the only thing we're gonna remember from this race ten years from now, and you just know that Bristol's gonna have it in their um promos for years to come for sure, as they should, because I mean it's Bristol, baby, come on.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: But Blaney came up to Hosvar, grabbed him in the chest, and whatnot, because you know, like he said on Monday on Danny Hamlin's Action Just Democratic podcast, like he was just trying to basically yell at him, just like, hey, like, you know, like he was mad, but he wasn't planning on swinging or anything.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: But Hosovar wanted to defend himself.
- 34:01SPEAKER_00: That was his point of view, so he retaliated with a couple punches and Blaney tried to fight back.
- 34:07SPEAKER_00: They were they were they were in a scrap for sure, but NASCAR broke it up pretty quick pretty quickly, and uh they announced that Blaney and Hosovar themselves have faced no penalty along with any crew members.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Um what is interesting is it found we all found out that uh Ty Gibbs threw a water bottle into the fray that just so happened to strike a media member in the face um during the whole fight since his car was right next to Hosovar's car on pit road, which is where this whole scrap took place in the first place.
- 34:41SPEAKER_00: But NASCAR confirmed that it's just gonna be a talk.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: They're just gonna talk with him at Kansas, so there won't be any penalty for Ty Gibbs either, so that's good.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: Because I mean, if you're gonna promote if NASCAR's gonna promote their own fight, then they shouldn't penalize it.
- 34:57SPEAKER_00: If you're gonna promote a fight and talk about a fight, don't penalize the fight.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: That's my take.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: But yeah, but I mean Hosabar, I mean, first he spun Brad Kozelowski at Darlington, and now getting into Ryan Blaney and wrecking him at Bristol, complete with its own fist fight.
- 35:15SPEAKER_00: I mean, if there's one thing Hosovar is really good at, it's bringing attention to himself by any means necessary.
- 35:23SPEAKER_00: That that's for sure.
- 35:24SPEAKER_00: But Blaney with the DF falls two spots down to sixth in points, 52 points back.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Hosovar with the third place run jumps up a spot to eighth in points, 85 back, with seven races to go in the chase.
- 35:38SPEAKER_00: Our picks and standings.
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: I still lead the cup points by 145 over Haley, 259 over Everett, 374 over Stacy, 600 over Bernardo, 649 over Noah, 702 over Ethan, 784 over Zayn.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Picks-wise, I did pick Ty Gibbs.
- 35:54SPEAKER_00: He finished fifth, led 120 laps.
- 35:56SPEAKER_00: I really wanted him to win.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: We all wanted him to win.
- 35:59SPEAKER_00: I really, really wanted him to win.
- 36:01SPEAKER_00: It wasn't meant to be.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: But you know what?
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: I'm glad Gibbs led a bunch of laps and finished fifth and didn't get wrecked.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: Like Blaney, who was Stacy's pick, and you know, led the 202 laps, which was the most laps, but got wrecked out in 33rd.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: So, you know, fifth is a lot better than 33rd.
- 36:21SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 36:22SPEAKER_00: Evan with Chris Busher ended up 13th.
- 36:24SPEAKER_00: Very quiet night.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: Same with um Haley with Danny Hamlin, ended up eighth.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: We didn't really hear much from Hamlin all night.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: That's kind of weird.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: Noah with Karnozelich ended up 24th.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: Um, just meh.
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Ethan with Christopher Bell, like we mentioned, a quiet night for Bell too.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: Let a lap finish fourth, and then Zayn with Briscoe had I I believe it was a sp suspension problem late in the race, ended up 27th out of the race, so tough deal there.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: But lastly, welcome back to Hot Sauce Hurricane.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Geo Celsi, he had good runs at Lucas Oil this past weekend.
- 36:59SPEAKER_00: He finished third, sixth, and third to cut his overall high limit points gap down to 126 points.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: Now, granted, there's only seven high limit races left, and it it seems like that Rico is probably gonna run away with the his second straight high limit championship, but Selzi's gap to Aaron Reitzel for second in points is down to just twenty-five points.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: So it's possible that Selzi could run down Reitzel for second in points.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: And mind you, mind you, okay, Rico has, I believe, six wins, if I'm not mistaken, as the points leader.
- 37:35SPEAKER_00: Reitzel has ten.
- 37:37SPEAKER_00: Selzi has just one.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: But Selzi's just been so consistent, and he's been third in points for much of the year.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: And mind you, I mean, it's a it's a brand new team.
- 37:49SPEAKER_00: It's Spire's brand new high limit 410 sprint car team.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: Like, that's really impressive.
- 37:57SPEAKER_00: You know, and Spire just continues to expand and grow.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: I mean, you know, Celsius's been doing good.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: Tristan McKee not only has been doing really good in his first three truck stars, but he won the Arca East title.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: And um, what was it last week?
- 38:13SPEAKER_00: Spire announced that they were gonna have a dirt late model team.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: It's unclear which series they're gonna run in, but it's a dirt late model team with Nick Hoffman.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: And they announced that on Thursday at World 100 week, and two nights later at Eldora, Nick Hoffman won the World 100.
- 38:30SPEAKER_00: So Spire definitely picked up a pretty good hire, I I must say.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: But back to Selzy.
- 38:38SPEAKER_00: Selzy was fourth at Kokomo earlier this year, back in May when High Limit ran.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: They were supposed to run for two nights, but the first night got rained out, so they just ran the second night.
- 38:47SPEAKER_00: However, Reitzel won that night, and so yeah, not great.
- 38:54SPEAKER_00: Both are still eligible to win the midweek series title, which will conclude at Kokomo tomorrow night.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: Selzi's gonna need a lot of help.
- 39:03SPEAKER_00: He's gonna need to either finish first or second, and need Brent Marks to basically finish last and Rico to finish like worse than second, and then Reitzel to finish mid-pack or worse.
- 39:16SPEAKER_00: So yeah, Brent Marks does control his own destiny.
- 39:19SPEAKER_00: He leads the midweek series points.
- 39:21SPEAKER_00: If he finishes like I think I think it's sixth or better, Marks will clinch the midweek series title, but both Celsius and Reitzel are still eligible for that too.
- 39:32SPEAKER_00: And at Eldora, which they're running the Four Crown Nationals this weekend, with um High Limit, and then all three of USAC's divisions with uh Wingless Sprint Car, Midget, and Silver Crown Cars.
- 39:46SPEAKER_00: Um Salzy has finished as of second from the second feature of the d of the double down duels, and then thirteenth in the Joker Jackpot.
- 39:55SPEAKER_00: Rightsell has finished as of eighth and fourteenth.
- 39:58SPEAKER_00: So it's definitely possible for Celsius to take second in points, but we'll see what he can do.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: And then Carson Hosmart.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: After fight night at Bristol, after UFC match 377, I don't know.
- 40:15SPEAKER_00: But yeah, and uh 12% discount on his website.
- 40:23SPEAKER_00: But depending on if you believe in the Tapitha curse or not, things could get bad. 'Cause well, she comes back at Kansas next weekend and she'll be at the track for the rest of the season.
- 40:35SPEAKER_00: So handle that information however you wish.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Because, you know, she hasn't been there since Daytona and you know, because she's been in Rome, which is funny because Rome, you got the real Coliseum, and Bristol's the last great Coliseum, so that's a funny little connection there.
- 40:52SPEAKER_00: But I mean the first three races of the chase, when Tabitha's been on vacation in Italy, Hostabar's finished 11th, 8th, and 3rd.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: When his prior finishes, or his prior four finishes leading up to the chase at Iowa, Richmond, New Hampshire, and Daytona were all finishes worse than 19th, and three of those were worse than 30th.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: So again, handle handle that information however you wish.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: But in other hosts for our news, he should be set to race as part of Floring Night in America again at Lincoln Park Speedway in Indiana tomorrow night.
- 41:30SPEAKER_00: Flow Racing Night in America hasn't run in about a month.
- 41:33SPEAKER_00: They ran back-to-back shows in mid-August at um Marshalltown at Mason City, which of course is back in my I guess native Iowa when I used to live there.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: Of course, of course, now I live in Georgia, duh.
- 41:49SPEAKER_00: But Hosabar did not run either of those nights because he could.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: I think there was some kind of GM meeting that they had to do with Chevy or something, but um Flow Racing Night in America anyways doesn't even count like your worst two finishes, so um it works out there.
- 42:10SPEAKER_00: So I think he's still eligible for points and all that.
- 42:13SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: Um but Spider didn't even bring out the late model at Marshalltown, and then at Mason City they had Michael Leach driving the car, who I believe finished 13th that night.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: But Hospar should be racing tomorrow night at Lincoln Park Speedway.
- 42:30SPEAKER_00: And Lincoln Park Speedway and Kokomo Speedway are not even two hours apart.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: They're both in the state of Indiana.
- 42:35SPEAKER_00: So with Selzi and Hosfarr both racing tomorrow night, good luck trying to get chilies.
- 42:41SPEAKER_00: Good luck trying to get your uh big crispy three for me's and your triple dippers in the state of Indiana tomorrow night.
- 42:49SPEAKER_00: Good luck.
- 42:50SPEAKER_00: But that'll do it for tonight's episode of the Throttle Fork Podcast.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: Make sure you tune in, listen, watch, and download on Spotify, Apple Podcast, YouTube.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: Check out the chill photography and throttle for podcast, Instagrams, and TikToks.
- 43:02SPEAKER_00: And we will see y'all next time.
