- 0:00People don't realize that even the tiny scar, and it could be a scar for when you were two years old.
- 0:04That carries trauma, and it carries scar tissue, and you have to work on it.
- 0:09PMF is one of the words that I think people here is thrown around a lot, but no one really understands it.
- 0:14So many of us are in high stress situations, we're not grounding, we're not out in the grass, we're not, you know, barefoot in the sand.
- 0:21So this is a way to bring your body back to that electromagnetic cold with yours.
- 0:24I know you guys do a lot of like athlete recovery, so you're talking young people, young guys.
- 0:29Is it better for them? Is it better for an older person?
- 0:33I tell people that all the time.
- 0:37We are back on the age-defiantly podcast, and I am thrilled to be broadcasting here live from the Changing Life Destiny Conference in Plane of our Texas.
- 0:46And I am joined here for our first podcast today by Ms. Kiki Cordero Drake.
- 0:52Now, I'll read you a little bit of information about Kiki, because I've known her for years in love or to death.
- 0:57We share enough sessions for the TV show Friends, which is kind of weird.
- 1:00But I'm going to tell you, with this actually says, most people in the recovery and performance space treat PMF like a passive tool.
- 1:08You lie on a mat, you let the frequencies do their thing, and then you get up and go about your day.
- 1:13But Kiki actually thinks that we're leaving most of the results right there on the table and not seeking them with us.
- 1:19Kiki's a master Pilates instructor and PMF practitioner who built something nobody else had built a method that combines electromagnetic therapy with active movement in the same session at the same time.
- 1:32She's been doing this with chronic pain patients, post-surgery recovery clients, stroke patients, oncology patients, high performance athletes, and even on me.
- 1:43I actually experienced this modality myself when I came out Phoenix and spent some time with you and the good Dr. Sean.
- 1:50And I want to unpack this a little bit, because first of all, welcome.
- 1:55Thank you so much.
- 1:56I did you would say that I started talking to you.
- 1:58Oh, he was able to talk to you too.
- 1:59I used to have so much about me.
- 2:01And it's actually introduces me as a guest on a podcast at my college.
- 2:05Guys, I'm cool.
- 2:07Also, she's
- 2:10say story, say string.
- 2:12But I kind of want to unpack is how I know you for years because you've been around the health and well in this space in multiple capacities and adjacent to so many things for so long.
- 2:24So I mean, I look to you as being probably one of the more knowledgeable people in the space, which I say that and I don't say I can to your horn.
- 2:32What I would have mean in that is that there's a lot of people who are doctors and experts in their area.
- 2:38And there's a lot of people who, you know, they they run down their own little rabbit hole.
- 2:42And you know, if all I have is a hammer, everything starts looking like a nail.
- 2:46But you've been in so many different areas throughout this whole buyer hacking space that you've seen the specter.
- 2:54You've worked at multiple companies.
- 2:56You're obviously in the fitness and pilates and all this.
- 3:00But you've been around all of the modalities as opposed to some people who have been around their specific outcome.
- 3:07And I was just talking with somebody earlier today and making a comment about this natural health space in my opinion is starting to get very prescriptive and it's starting to look a lot like
- 3:21Western medicine beyond the side you and it's here's your prescription.
- 3:24And instead we just, you know, replace prescription with peptide and say, okay, well, here's your peptide.
- 3:30Don't do this.
- 3:30And it's like, okay, but you've taken away the agency of the patient.
- 3:33You've taken away the holistic approach to all of these things.
- 3:37And one of the things that I love about your Mac around is you've been around all of these things.
- 3:42You're not a I have a hammer.
- 3:43Everything's a nail kind of practitioner.
- 3:46So can you kind of give us a bit of the spectrum of all of the stuff you've been around because I know you from heavy work with with infrared companies that know and you working with microbiome labs.
- 3:57I think you've been everywhere from gut brain to infrared just sound as to to the electromagnetic frequencies.
- 4:05Like you've been all over like how why what?
- 4:10Well, yeah.
- 4:13So I started 19 years ago in Pilates.
- 4:17I became a master instructor of bloody sports therapy before that was a thing in that time.
- 4:22I have my own injuries.
- 4:24I found all the answers that I needed and that one day I got like came in my neck and my shoulders.
- 4:29I call my then chiropractor and I'm like, hey, I don't know to do.
- 4:33He's like, come share out this new machine.
- 4:34It was a PMF device and it was a manual PMF device.
- 4:37And so he worked on me for 30 minutes.
- 4:39I had full range of motion and no pain.
- 4:40And I was like, okay, this is magic.
- 4:42I want to be magician.
- 4:44So then I added that to my practice.
- 4:46And then I saw the results were so incredible by using PMF in this manner,
- 4:50which was essentially the massage that I actually closed my studio.
- 4:55And I moved to California because at the time I was one.
- 4:58I was a third practitioner that did manual PMF in the United States.
- 5:02And actually in the country and in the world with that device at least.
- 5:06And then I was doing that and a cup of it happened.
- 5:11And no, I wanted to be touched and keep over.
- 5:14Is she California?
- 5:15100%.
- 5:16So I lost 85% of my business overnight.
- 5:19I had maybe four clients that were like families that actually let me still go to their houses.
- 5:25And I had to kind of rebrand myself.
- 5:27Now before this happened back around 2018, I met Kron
- 5:32from my life at the time.
- 5:34And I was doing sessions at a booth.
- 5:37I had paleo effects when it still existed.
- 5:39And you can, you know, come on.
- 5:40See, you know his voice.
- 5:41So I don't work on his shoulders.
- 5:43I'm doing manual PMF.
- 5:44And he's like, this is weird.
- 5:46I like weird.
- 5:48And I get to start allowing him like, who is this guy?
- 5:50And why does a microbiologist have groupies?
- 5:53But anyway, he's so.
- 5:55He does.
- 5:56He does.
- 5:57So he's supposed, I literally like look at the one day and I was like,
- 5:59who are you?
- 6:01Is this?
- 6:02But he was speaking at the time.
- 6:03He was actually speaking on behalf of Jess Thrive.
- 6:05And I met Tina and Dilly through a totally different.
- 6:09I mean, they want us all.
- 6:11So it's like, you will just kind of became my friends.
- 6:14And so when COVID happened, Kron was like, hey, what are you doing now?
- 6:19I'm like, well, I'm not touching strangers.
- 6:20And he was like, well, what your background is like marketing,
- 6:24you know, I used to do all that.
- 6:26I worked to read you and advertising.
- 6:27He's like, why don't we create a job for you?
- 6:29Because you know all of these people already as your friends.
- 6:32How about you become an affiliate manager?
- 6:34So thus, you put me through the East Fifth Avenue affiliate program
- 6:38with Amber.
- 6:39And I did all that.
- 6:41And then I was still doing PMF at the booths for microbiome labs.
- 6:45And so that just caught my hands literally on people that we
- 6:48needed to know, which kind of just made this huge bullet
- 6:51ex of friends, peers, and you name it, right?
- 6:55And then when he was a company, I was a company.
- 6:59And that's how I started working for other companies and for
- 7:01rent companies, rent like companies.
- 7:02But it's because there's not just one tool.
- 7:04Has we knows him?
- 7:05And like you were saying, it's like now, it's like, I believe in
- 7:09the whole route.
- 7:10I, you know, supplementation, but that's also not necessarily
- 7:13right for everybody.
- 7:14Well, and that's that's actually where I'm going with that.
- 7:17Is it I know for instance, you and your husband, right?
- 7:19Want to click in Scottsdale right now and the modalities
- 7:23that are there, not every modality is for every one.
- 7:28And not every modality fixes everything.
- 7:31And even the best modality in the world doesn't work for
- 7:35every person.
- 7:36And I mean, it's a plug-in plate.
- 7:38And I always say it's like as Rubik's Q that you have to
- 7:41figure out all the right terms to get to the solution.
- 7:43But what I find interesting about your career or that
- 7:47respect is I always say people fail forward.
- 7:49And it's like, and it's not that you failed at anything.
- 7:52It's, but we did trial and error to say yes and figure
- 7:54it out.
- 7:55Let us you got into this key EMF world.
- 7:59And in a perfect world, you would have continued that
- 8:02journey.
- 8:03COVID came and interrupted that journey.
- 8:06Yes.
- 8:07Which forced you into other types of modalities and other
- 8:11positions that you weren't looking for that that came in
- 8:15which opened the huge world of opportunities for you.
- 8:19You became familiar with all of these things.
- 8:22You met people that you never should have met.
- 8:24You made relationships with powerful people in the
- 8:27industry that still are friends only to end up back and
- 8:32feel bad.
- 8:33And I love that because it's like the surplus complete.
- 8:36It was almost like, you know, bad took you on this detour
- 8:38for five, six years.
- 8:39And it was just like, hey, no, like this is great.
- 8:41We're going to get back to this.
- 8:43Go do this stuff first.
- 8:45And now you're back to doing key EMF.
- 8:47But you're doing it with a different perspective because
- 8:50I would arguably say that before and correctly, if I'm
- 8:53wrong here, PMF was your solution.
- 8:55Like that was what you believed was going to do
- 8:57everything.
- 8:58I went back.
- 8:59That's why I tell people they have a scene.
- 9:00My big guy.
- 9:01Just put the wind next to it.
- 9:03I just put the PM up on it.
- 9:04Absolutely.
- 9:05And but now you've got this whole perspective.
- 9:07And now PMF, while you're huge advocate, PMF everyone
- 9:11ties that.
- 9:12But you use advocate of PMF.
- 9:15But it's part of the the region.
- 9:18And now it is one of the arrows in the quiver.
- 9:21It's not the nuclear bomb.
- 9:24Like it is, it's one of the things that I should help people.
- 9:27And I think to me, that perspective is actually more
- 9:30in court than anything.
- 9:31So explain PMF because people, then I'll give you an example.
- 9:36My, my mom was actually going, was having bad pain.
- 9:39And we sent her over to the biohackle lab.
- 9:41So we're off 17.
- 9:42She's right.
- 9:43And for water down.
- 9:44And my dad is like, do you think PMF will help her?
- 9:46I'm like, probably.
- 9:47Like she's having pained issues.
- 9:49And it's like, and she did it.
- 9:50And she's like, oh, I don't know.
- 9:51It just made me feel weird.
- 9:52And I just like, it was kind of weird to her.
- 9:57But it was, what is this, what is this doing to me?
- 10:00And she was like, super, I don't like this.
- 10:03But then after a day or two, she went back and did it again
- 10:06because something shifted.
- 10:07And then she did it again.
- 10:09And it's funny because they recently bought a home
- 10:12in Fort Lauderdale and are spending a lot of time down there,
- 10:14which I love.
- 10:15But what's funny is that she never leaks,
- 10:18because she doesn't know the area well enough.
- 10:20And even though she's got a self-driving car,
- 10:22she doesn't like venturing out to places.
- 10:24She doesn't, but she will go to the biohack, perhaps,
- 10:27to do PMF.
- 10:28Like she doesn't even know what it does.
- 10:31But something's happening there.
- 10:33So I explain this to people who don't even know what P in it.
- 10:37Like get it to us dummies.
- 10:39So PMF pulse electromagnetic field
- 10:42or pulse electromagnetic frequency.
- 10:44There are two different types.
- 10:46Field is more so like the map that your mom lays
- 10:49on an Agile system.
- 10:50And it's creating a field around the body.
- 10:52So it's cellular exercise.
- 10:53It helps a cellular and a regeneration.
- 10:55It helps increase circulation, takes out inflammation
- 10:58and helps increase bone density.
- 11:00It helps we anxiety and depression
- 11:02and helps with your nervous system.
- 11:04Right.
- 11:05And that's when the people get on in.
- 11:06The high dial systems tend to almost be jarring
- 11:08because you get this like, and it's like moving your body.
- 11:11And I find especially women or people
- 11:13that are in high stress situations
- 11:15or high anxiety, it's high pay.
- 11:17They may not love that at birth.
- 11:19But that's your nervous system being tested
- 11:21to give you what you actually need, right?
- 11:23Because we like to do things
- 11:24that we feel comfortable doing.
- 11:25That may not be the most comfortable.
- 11:27But what it's going to do is reset you.
- 11:29So you have that kind.
- 11:31You have your low dial system,
- 11:32which a lot of people that was like a beaver mat.
- 11:35Higher Joe has low dials.
- 11:37You know, there's a couple of companies
- 11:38out there that have more Fordham systems.
- 11:39You're not going to feel those.
- 11:41But over time, you do feel the results, right?
- 11:45Now, if you've gone from a high dial system
- 11:47to a low dial system,
- 11:48so people think that it's not working
- 11:49because they don't feel the pulsing, right?
- 11:53So that's where, oh, there's a disconnect there
- 11:55when it comes to your consumer, basically.
- 11:58And then we have what our device is,
- 12:00what EQ Foxway, we actually have both.
- 12:02We have high dials.
- 12:04We also have, well, I don't want to say low dials.
- 12:06We have high dials.
- 12:07And then we have just a lower frequency system,
- 12:10which allows for assessment, treatment,
- 12:15self treatment, and you've been to exercise with it.
- 12:17So like, for instance, the froze, what I worked on you it.
- 12:20That one is an AC current.
- 12:21So it's not a DC current, like most PU devices.
- 12:24And action creates an oscillating plane system
- 12:27within within the device.
- 12:29That is more therapeutic for your body.
- 12:31The first and foremost is to regulate your nervous system
- 12:33so your body feels safe while it's getting treated.
- 12:36We had two sides to it.
- 12:37The other manual side, which you experienced,
- 12:39which I can use the infrared one, which has graphite,
- 12:42which acts as a magnet to the cells.
- 12:43So it actually shows you where your body is overacted,
- 12:46or where it's underactive,
- 12:47and it adds you balance out the system,
- 12:49depending on what we're setting.
- 12:50But then I can also attach it to myself.
- 12:53And then I can use it, has a pond do it.
- 12:55Yeah, so, so, so PEMF, I want to, don't stop there
- 12:58because like, oh, yes, like, jump you out.
- 13:00No, you're good, you're good.
- 13:01But the PEMF itself, like people understand this pulse electric,
- 13:06make electromagnetic frequency or feel,
- 13:09it's, what is it doing, example?
- 13:11I know you said cellular exercise,
- 13:13and I've never heard it explain that way before.
- 13:14So to people who are like, oh, P enough, it's good, it's bad,
- 13:17it's whatever, like, what are you,
- 13:19what are you literally happening at a physiological level?
- 13:21The other body is car, car battery, right?
- 13:23Yep.
- 13:24We have to recharge our car battery.
- 13:26That's the way to do our body.
- 13:27We have what a great example.
- 13:28And that is cells, actually, in most people,
- 13:32I would argue say, and that's why we have so many neurological dysfunction,
- 13:36things going on.
- 13:37So we were energies of premium.
- 13:39And this whole idea of mitochondrial charging
- 13:41because mitochondria is the energy centers of cell,
- 13:44PEMF does actually help jump-starting the cells
- 13:48that aren't working properly.
- 13:49The cells that actually have an energy crisis
- 13:52are getting re-energized by doing PEMF.
- 13:55I have this talking of mitochondrial support.
- 13:57I think increases your ATP levels
- 13:59and helps your overall just circulation of load flow, right?
- 14:03And obviously, so-
- 14:04That's where your ATP is literally secondary energy.
- 14:06Yeah, exactly.
- 14:07So the biggest thing that I want to hammer out here
- 14:09is that one of the things that I believe that IP,
- 14:12and to me anyways, is a pretty pervasive protocol
- 14:15that can be used on just about anybody,
- 14:17is that what anybody is in some kind of crisis,
- 14:22they're usually as a cellular energy ensure.
- 14:24And some of that is nutritional.
- 14:26Some of it's environmental.
- 14:27Some of it's injury-related, emotional.
- 14:30That trauma response, like all of this stuff is related.
- 14:33And literally PEMF is just jump-starting the cells.
- 14:37And it's doing, I hate to say this,
- 14:40it's doing nothing to heal a problem.
- 14:44It is empowering the body to get back to normal
- 14:47and let the body do what the body already knows how to do.
- 14:50Exactly, it's literally getting your body exactly
- 14:52what it means to reset itself,
- 14:53what recharge, and recover.
- 14:55It's handing the power back to your body's inner dinteles.
- 15:00And that's what I love about.
- 15:01And maybe it's literally, it's not that the PEMF
- 15:03takes the pain away.
- 15:04No, the PEMF is just getting your cells to go,
- 15:07oh, wait, we canned it this pain.
- 15:09We just didn't realize it admitted to go
- 15:11because we've been struggling to even turn the lights on.
- 15:14The sigils turn off.
- 15:15And this is just turning the sigils back on
- 15:17and you'll be back up the pathways
- 15:18that have just become a little more doored.
- 15:20We're just suppworking the way that they need to.
- 15:22So many of us are in high stress situations.
- 15:24We're not crowding.
- 15:25We're not out in the grass.
- 15:26We're not barefoot in the sand.
- 15:28So this is a way to bring your body back to that.
- 15:30Electromagnetic pull to the earth.
- 15:32Yes, and then what I love about PEMF
- 15:35in that respect is it's like, you're jump starting to body.
- 15:38I like anything that is not additive.
- 15:42And PEMF is not added to body.
- 15:44PEMF is literally just putting the body back on track.
- 15:48You're literally just saying, okay,
- 15:50you kind of went ship, but let's get you back on track.
- 15:53Let's get your body doing what it's innate
- 15:55and intelligence already knows how to dare.
- 15:57Now from there, you started talking about manual PEMF
- 16:02and all this else.
- 16:03Now when I was out and I still dreaded
- 16:07and I actually cold plunge.
- 16:10Yeah, I was done being else, NASA.
- 16:11Hey, so I'm very clear.
- 16:12So I had to run out and part of what I say here is like
- 16:15I actually saw you guys in conference back in October.
- 16:19So we were hanging out and Sean Drake, your husband
- 16:22and made a comment to you all like a life of dude,
- 16:24your nervous system is rack, rack, and like, who are you telling you?
- 16:30And he's like, you've got to come off and spend some time.
- 16:32I was actually surprised that PEMF
- 16:36was such a big part of the couple of days
- 16:38that I spent in your client because your PEMF was like,
- 16:41oh, go do this.
- 16:42Now we're going to PEMF.
- 16:43Now don't do this.
- 16:44No PEMF.
- 16:45And I was like, I'm feel like I'm just coming out here
- 16:47and sitting on PEMF mechs the whole time
- 16:49or sitting with my lap or whatever, but amazing.
- 16:55And part of that is that reset.
- 16:57But the last thing I was there on day three,
- 17:00you worked on me and it was something I'd never experienced before.
- 17:04And you talk about manual PEMF
- 17:06and it made the way that I can best explain
- 17:10to someone who doesn't know what that means
- 17:11is it was like getting a massage by a robot.
- 17:14But in a, in a weird way because like you, you've got a great massage touch.
- 17:19But as you know, like I was locked up.
- 17:21My shoulders and my hips were like barely movable.
- 17:25And you did massage, but in such a weird way
- 17:30because you were connected, you personally were connected to the machine,
- 17:36which meant the electricity was actually was using you as a conduit.
- 17:41And while you were giving me a massage,
- 17:43I was getting electrical shocks through your hands,
- 17:46which is like the weirdest experience because it was like,
- 17:49you ever like when we were kids and you like shuffle your feet on the carpet
- 17:52so you can shock everybody.
- 17:53You wait, he's like that for an hour.
- 17:58It wasn't this uncomfortable shock,
- 17:59but you felt the energy like you felt that through your hands.
- 18:04Like it was, it was such an unusual sensation though
- 18:07because it was, yes, it was a therapist's hands.
- 18:11And it being that that's massage in many ways.
- 18:15And it was massage and it was very flexibility focused.
- 18:18Almost like I love time, such factories and like that hurt,
- 18:21like held the entire time.
- 18:22But afterwards I feeling as limber as imaginable.
- 18:26But what you did was actually doing that and at the same time
- 18:30using that electricity and frequency and it gets funny
- 18:33because you actually ground yourself to the machine.
- 18:36So literally you're not feeling it per se,
- 18:39but it's all going through to the end user being me at the time.
- 18:43How is that really to PMF?
- 18:45Cause I'll be honest, like after you did that that day,
- 18:48like unfortunately I got in a heart broke the boss angel.
- 18:51So that's probably that properly and do me a favors.
- 18:55But the reality is is that I could move like,
- 18:58and I always had some kind of status.
- 19:00I think I mean, did you ever sleep?
- 19:02But the, the movement that they think I had shoulder injuries,
- 19:07my hip had it had an injury as you recall.
- 19:09And it was like I was able to move and bend in flats.
- 19:11Like I was like ready for a younger class by the time we were done.
- 19:15And I went, oh my gosh, like this is crazy talk.
- 19:18And I have you do it once before,
- 19:20but it was only like on my get controllers when we were at a conference.
- 19:24But doing it like full body was insane.
- 19:28What happens?
- 19:29Talk to me about that because you've recently joined a company called EQ Flux
- 19:35where you are, your intention is taking this out of this microcosm space
- 19:41and expanding this protocol worldwide.
- 19:44And I love that ambition.
- 19:46But EQ Flux is the name of the machine that you're using specifically.
- 19:50I'm pack all the tips.
- 19:53No, Kassaki, Q Flux way with the company as a whole and the pro is what I used on you.
- 19:58But we have a couple devices, not actually.
- 20:00And it's targeted theory.
- 20:03I mean, like you said, when you're laying on a map that's passive,
- 20:06yes, it's amazing for your cells and your energy and you're able to get all the things.
- 20:09However, when you can actually get to the area and go target in and be really precise,
- 20:14your body tells me has a practitioner what it means.
- 20:18And it may not even be what you feel, right?
- 20:20So the only time I feel a frequency going back in my hands is when there's,
- 20:25I say a watch pathway.
- 20:27Some people get scared by the word block, but it's really it's like one out of cells,
- 20:30literally just become kind of dormant.
- 20:32So it can push into my fingertips or sometimes if you're really blocked,
- 20:36it will make my alarm jump, which I believe you experience.
- 20:39When I'm laying your hips, I'm like, oh, look, this is, this is showing me.
- 20:42Yeah, because the energy is coming into my body, but my body's not accepting it.
- 20:47It's almost like reflux into you literally push full of energy.
- 20:50So I kind of take that on for a little bit and then I just work on the area.
- 20:53Sometimes I add a movement, which allows the pathways to open a lot faster.
- 20:57But that's why you're getting the release because we're just like any key.
- 21:00I'll say you need activation or movement because that is the medicine.
- 21:05But with the frequency, it allows you to push through that so much faster.
- 21:09So that's why you get those incredible results instantly.
- 21:12So I'm going to ask you to make a comparison because I'm sure there isn't one
- 21:16and you're going to look at me like I'm just an amateur.
- 21:19PEMF, obviously you're talking pulse, electromagnetic fuel frequency.
- 21:25I've recently, in the past few months, I was gifted a vision body suit.
- 21:30Which is EMS, which is different, but similar in, in so much as, and I call it my wall
- 21:38risk costume.
- 21:40There you go.
- 21:40And then I put on my wall risk costume.
- 21:42And I've had hungry and, and Kristen on the podcast before we talked about it.
- 21:47I didn't own a suit at the time.
- 21:49So I probably will have them on again with this conference because they're here.
- 21:54And I had seen them in a minute.
- 21:56But I went down to their studio in Miami and they gifted me one of these suits.
- 22:00They were like, we want you to use this.
- 22:01And I'm like, Oh, okay.
- 22:03And now this thing kicks my, you can blink out, but it kicks my ass.
- 22:09Like I will wear this thing for 20, 25 minutes while on an exercise bike or, or on a treadmill
- 22:16or something and like at high engine, dripping and sweat by the time I'm done.
- 22:21And but what it happens is it's funny because I'm exhausted by the end.
- 22:24And I tell people like, well, what is it?
- 22:26They're like, well, it's like wearing 28 tens units that are all turned up to the exact same time.
- 22:31And I'm like, so it's kind of like feeling like, you know, you I'm walking through a light socket.
- 22:37That it charts on every 30 seconds.
- 22:40It's honestly when they get our workouts.
- 22:41Yeah.
- 22:42No, you're, it's amazing.
- 22:43I put this thing on in it.
- 22:45I had you brought it with me.
- 22:46Maybe we should do bring yours.
- 22:47Really don't carry that.
- 22:49No, I brought it with me and it's tricky.
- 22:51It's like the series there.
- 22:51That's like told me you've been bogged out and then you're rubber suit.
- 22:56Maybe I wouldn't like rubber suit under my tits either.
- 23:01But they have to be all embarrassed.
- 23:03Many had worked the gender bar with it.
- 23:06But I wear my EMS suit and it's that electrical shock through your body.
- 23:11And it's funny because like if I'm blocked off, if you will,
- 23:16I can tell where, where I'm damaged in the day.
- 23:19Like I actually remember like I was my shoulder was acting up.
- 23:22And I'm wearing this suit during a workout and I turned up,
- 23:27you know, you can actually adjust each of the areas percentage.
- 23:30And I turned up the shoulder only to like 20%
- 23:34and literally my shoulder came out of socket.
- 23:37And I was like, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 23:38I probably should turn down turned down.
- 23:40I don't know, not a bad way because the muscle,
- 23:43this can try to contrast it so much.
- 23:45And it's through my shoulder out as like, oh my gosh, like that's crazy.
- 23:49And I mean, literally like there are,
- 23:51there are days that like I'll use it and like my quads.
- 23:55I can, I'm like limping now in the street afterwards because it's such a workup.
- 23:59But here's what I find interesting about that.
- 24:01And that's total diversion.
- 24:03But what I find interesting is that EMS suit
- 24:08and what you did have a very similar feeling to me.
- 24:12And part of it is because the the electrical simulation
- 24:16in the muscles in, in the joints in, I mean, you're getting into big events.
- 24:20You're getting the attendants that you're getting several workout.
- 24:22He's not necessarily doing.
- 24:24So there are areas of my body,
- 24:27not just major muscle works that I will feel that I want.
- 24:31I mean, I can do six hip classes in a row.
- 24:35And but most of those hip workouts are using major muscle roots.
- 24:38They're not using minor muscles.
- 24:40The EMS suit is like getting me in areas that that I've never
- 24:45experienced, pain it.
- 24:47Like sometimes it's like, what's going on here?
- 24:50Yours held super similar.
- 24:52Like it almost felt like a workout when you were done.
- 24:55I mean, like we said, it's slayer exercise, right?
- 24:57It's just a totally different kind of current.
- 24:59So we have AC current, which is DC current.
- 25:03With the PMF, it's, you know, we have our side to car EMS size,
- 25:08what we call it, even though it's PMF.
- 25:10And that's literally because we use it more so for exercise.
- 25:13So we have three different settings on there.
- 25:15We have our restore, which is more so for chronic pain on the flexibility.
- 25:19And there is muscle activation there.
- 25:21But if you really want to turn something on, that's not turning on.
- 25:23We go to stimulate mode.
- 25:25Stimulate is for really turning on those deep muscles,
- 25:29like those transverse intonial muscles are getting in deep to those areas.
- 25:32That like you said, it's getting down to the limits and different tissues and
- 25:35different. So it's getting different muscles at one more return on because
- 25:38when we work out of the gym, more cases and now we're working with superficial
- 25:42muscles. And that's just it.
- 25:45You also know what people see.
- 25:47Boy, yeah.
- 25:49I read some people like I've never seen that guy like on the beach.
- 25:51That has like a barrel belly, but he has a six pet.
- 25:53But he's not actually working those deep muscles.
- 25:55Like he's definitely going to blow out his back.
- 25:57You know, like that's the guy that's going to blow out of that.
- 25:59But because someone see the six back, they're like, oh, that's great.
- 26:01No, what you want to see is type and arm and secure.
- 26:05So you want stabilization in that area.
- 26:07That's what this allows you to do.
- 26:09It just allows you to get deeper, but because it's also PMF versus DC.
- 26:13It's number one regulator, your nervous system.
- 26:16So I always tell people how many of us are like, dude, I'm so stressed out.
- 26:19I need to work out.
- 26:21I need to blow this off.
- 26:22Well, more times adopt for there to blow off whatever we're trying to forget
- 26:26in the moment and not necessarily focusing on our body.
- 26:30So form my body, where it is, screen connection.
- 26:34This will allow you to do those things.
- 26:36So you're working on the nervous system, you're regulating and you're letting
- 26:38your body feel safe and then you're turning on the muscles that you need to turn
- 26:41on, but you're also relaxing the ones that are going to work.
- 26:43So like your shoulder, for instance, with my device, you wouldn't necessarily
- 26:48feel your shoulder right away because it is used to wake it back up,
- 26:52unless it's above a worked area.
- 26:54So it literally tells me which ones overworked, which ones underworked and I
- 26:57can balance out those two at the same time versus just one frequency going in.
- 27:00I can change it up.
- 27:01So I have one on stimulate and one on restore.
- 27:04So it just allows me to kind of like play around with them and mix a match
- 27:10and get you the ultimate results that you need.
- 27:13So let me ask you.
- 27:14So with EMS, it's not about EMS specifically, but the correlations,
- 27:19I think are kind of fun because PMF for a, I mean,
- 27:25sort of podcast is called age to find.
- 27:27I think it's like a lot of our audience is a 50 year old 50 plus audience.
- 27:31Not everybody, but there is an older audience that watches our broadcast
- 27:34because you get to a certain age and one things don't work the way they used
- 27:40to and we all kind of experience that at different times of life.
- 27:42But the second thing that I think happens in that, in that window is mortality
- 27:48and debilitation start to become conversations that they never used to be.
- 27:54So this idea of, but I want increased mobility and I want to age to find
- 27:59it. I want to have a wife that's mobile.
- 28:02That's fun.
- 28:03That's that's fulfilling even as my numbers wrote up.
- 28:08Um, do you find that this is particularly helpful or impactful
- 28:14for some audiences more than others?
- 28:16Is this like, is PMF better for?
- 28:18I know you guys do a lot of like athlete recovery.
- 28:21So you're talking young, young people, young guys.
- 28:24Um, is it better for them?
- 28:27Is it better for an older person?
- 28:30Kids for what ducks down everybody is a little bigger for everybody.
- 28:36Like, yeah, I do, like, especially when I'm working with my clients
- 28:39other for with the, um, being a hash the PMF.
- 28:42I'm working on right now, anywhere from 12 years old to 65.
- 28:48And obviously for different reasons, you know, my 12 year old is an inch in
- 28:51this to have a couple of injuries for management of this.
- 28:54What is totally normal?
- 28:55So I'm trying to calm down what's overstimulated in her body because you,
- 28:59you know, overworked, overdeveloped certain musters of her,
- 29:01others, which creates compensation patterns.
- 29:03So I'm putting her for safe in her body again.
- 29:05Whereas like, I have two women that come to me twice a week that are
- 29:08both in their mint to light 15s.
- 29:11Um, both thought that you had hip surgeries for totally different reasons.
- 29:16One had received, um, injections in her hip and her back.
- 29:21They wanted to, they were literally looking up surgery.
- 29:24And I was like, can you just like let me work on your first?
- 29:27And so what we were able to do is we found scars.
- 29:30She had so many abdominal scars.
- 29:32Well, so I'm able to reach on the nurse that area,
- 29:35breakthrough the scar tissue with the frequency with the device and then
- 29:39connect her to the machine.
- 29:40So she's able to work twice as hard.
- 29:42But it now allows her like hips to feel safe.
- 29:44And now allows for abdomen to work the way that it needs to because she
- 29:47had all less scar tissue.
- 29:48So now because that's getting stronger, she hadn't do a lot of back issues.
- 29:52And every day, she's like, man, how would I go this long without doing this?
- 29:56So the two of them together are just like, they're like, what will be your,
- 29:59what will be your models?
- 30:00Like whatever you want.
- 30:01And we're like, we didn't even know this is possible.
- 30:02Like we thought we were doing it searchers literally about a year ago.
- 30:05And I'm like, well, let me ask you a question.
- 30:06I had a friend called me recently and she called and said, I'm having a
- 30:10diamond glass these soon.
- 30:11She said, what do you wrap them up?
- 30:13Like, what, what do I do?
- 30:14What is my healing protocol?
- 30:15What is my everything?
- 30:16I'm so excited.
- 30:17But what do I do?
- 30:19And I'm like, oh, the way you call it right now, right?
- 30:21And I'm like, well, you need to do this, this, this, this.
- 30:23And then I'm writing to like, I want you to pounce a BPC 157 and TV 500 for
- 30:27at least a week or two prior going to surgery.
- 30:29I want you to lose us.
- 30:30She's having a down request.
- 30:31I mean, lose as much rage as you can before you go in.
- 30:36I want you on entirely full, you know, keto friend.
- 30:40They got it.
- 30:40So that your, your inflammation is down as much as possible before you go in
- 30:44because I will actually again, help recovery.
- 30:47Like I want you on hyperbaric oxygen as soon as you're our surgery for at
- 30:51least two weeks.
- 30:52I like, and I'm running through this stuff.
- 30:54And by the way, this room curious.
- 30:56And like, and for the area that's affected, like you're going to think
- 30:59this is really weird.
- 31:00But I actually want you to be doing micro meddling on the scar area
- 31:06while applying skincare contains GHKCE peptide on that scar area.
- 31:11You mentioned something about scar tissue in the abdominal area, which
- 31:16may be, at least I can go, well, that's interesting because
- 31:19technically, that electrical currency would break up scar tissue also.
- 31:24But this actually helped before scar tissue should be before.
- 31:28Yeah, it does.
- 31:29Because that area is, you know, lymphatic wise.
- 31:33I mean, I was talking to her about do everything you can.
- 31:35Like, you know, you've got to be doing, you know, brushing and
- 31:38everything else.
- 31:38Geesh of lipatic system is never going to work the same again.
- 31:41Yeah.
- 31:41Like all this other kind of stuff.
- 31:43But I didn't actually think of be enough.
- 31:47Um, and now it's going to go on her list.
- 31:49You know, she can spend more money on recover it.
- 31:51And she is a surgery.
- 31:52Um, but she could have counted this.
- 31:54Exactly.
- 31:55And it might.
- 31:56So if you were to go like, so PMF for surgical areas, you would
- 32:01actually recommend doing it because I say that the trauma that
- 32:04experience during that incision at any of the cutaway, um, that,
- 32:09that trauma actually is the cell shut down.
- 32:12Yeah.
- 32:13Well, you want to pre post.
- 32:14Yeah.
- 32:15I want to charge that is much.
- 32:17Exactly.
- 32:17So that way it doesn't take such a hit after she's been under anesthesia.
- 32:21You know, I'm sure we're going to get her.
- 32:23I'm in bad.
- 32:23It's all the things.
- 32:24So you want to like charge the body.
- 32:25So it doesn't.
- 32:26So it doesn't have a such a hard time as coming back and do the recovery.
- 32:30Um, and that, I mean, obviously she's taking advantage of everything.
- 32:32That's all going to help.
- 32:33But this is getting deeper to those cells, right?
- 32:36Yeah.
- 32:36And then post the PMF is going to help with cellular regeneration for
- 32:41also nerve regeneration.
- 32:43So as that heals faster, it has a less than a chance for that scar tissue to
- 32:46really build and cream or issues in the future because people don't realize
- 32:49like even the tiny scar and it could be a scar for when you were two years old.
- 32:53Curious.
- 32:54Not carries trauma and a carry scar tissue and you have to work on it.
- 32:59So I always like that with the fro.
- 33:01For instance, I always use the wand on them because of the infrared.
- 33:05So anyone that's had any had abdominal surgery, I go to them on the
- 33:08can alpha set up right nice and low calming resets the area helps them get
- 33:11out of that crying pain, puts them in a safe place, resets the nervous system,
- 33:14gup grains on tap.
- 33:16Then after let's say four to five sessions when their body feels safe,
- 33:21I'm going to then put it on gamma.
- 33:23And now we're going to strengthen those muscles again.
- 33:26And we're going to get them working the way that they need to.
- 33:27So your body knows how to turn itself back on.
- 33:29See your core because we know your core is your powerhouse, right?
- 33:32So that all turns back on to you.
- 33:34So I say PMF is the missing leak there for.
- 33:38Yeah.
- 33:39And for your fatty tree postup.
- 33:41Yeah.
- 33:41No, that's a great, you great suggestion.
- 33:43And they didn't really think about it until you mentioned a scar tissue about the
- 33:46women and their hips.
- 33:48Oh, what do you sections?
- 33:49Sips on why?
- 33:50Legic care.
- 33:53This I know seriously the C sections.
- 33:54That's one of the most missed diagnosed.
- 33:59Contrifications or injuries that I've seen on women specifically.
- 34:02I as like SI like sciatica paid, but they're like, well,
- 34:05I'm seeing a car practice for me.
- 34:06I'm getting massage once a week.
- 34:07I've been doing this for the last six months.
- 34:08Well, clearly that's not working.
- 34:10So what I've found is then I asked them, have you had any of the almost
- 34:13reviews or a C section?
- 34:15He had a 10 women.
- 34:17Say yes.
- 34:17Say yes.
- 34:18Well, and C sections are such a common practice nowadays.
- 34:21And it's like, and I hate pat to me.
- 34:23I asked to do this is this is probably full disclosure.
- 34:26I accidentally took an anthropology class and under right.
- 34:30It's true story like I registered for PR class.
- 34:33It wasn't that didn't get in like all the old 30 minutes before registration
- 34:37post and I got off credit hours and that semester and I ended up registering
- 34:41for the only class that was still opened and it was an anthropology class.
- 34:46Took the class went to the bookstore brush to the brush to the class that night.
- 34:49I was there was two weeks into the class before I actually registered
- 34:52register left long story.
- 34:54Anyways, I was cross posted as a women study class and I didn't go this and I ended
- 34:58up becoming the only man in this entire class and the entire literally the course
- 35:02title with narratives and childbirth.
- 35:05I went the bot.
- 35:09You loved you.
- 35:10Well, is that you really find it because there was this, you know,
- 35:13brumful of women, most of them middle aged and I became their son in this
- 35:18rule that they wanted to make sure that I understood it and I was very
- 35:21Western medicine minded back then as I think we all were 20 years old.
- 35:26And it was like hearing the damage though that C sections do.
- 35:32Like I had no idea that it's like, so 30 years later, I'm like, no,
- 35:38like I would never, never want my life to go through a C section all possible
- 35:43to avoid a man understanders cases.
- 35:45But they now at Gilly, we just passed the out.
- 35:47So the delivery is easier and it fits into the doctor's schedule there.
- 35:52Like the doctor doesn't want to work weekend.
- 35:54So let's just go get the baby on or Friday because I don't plan vacation.
- 35:59I had a private literary schedule out because she did not want to miss a vacation.
- 36:02Right.
- 36:03And it's like, it's the convenience of knowing when the baby is coming,
- 36:06which kind of gets rid of like the, oh my gosh, I'm the neighbor kind of fun
- 36:09that, you know, so many people have thanked it.
- 36:12Like it says like, yeah, it's a shipy as price.
- 36:15But but literally like these C sections and the C sections are even more
- 36:20invasive than the abdominal plastics because with an abdominal plastic
- 36:23and they're not going to muscle like C such as we're going right here to muscle
- 36:28enforcing a muscle heal also.
- 36:30And it's like, and I don't think to to your point about cellular trauma.
- 36:35How often most let it think of that?
- 36:37They don't.
- 36:37And they do forget about the connection.
- 36:39It's a cosmetic changes that they're worried about.
- 36:41It the internal connection and in literally like I always say,
- 36:45but when you cut through the lymphatic system, that doesn't grow back.
- 36:49Like the lymphatic system is forever damaged.
- 36:51That the nervous system can or the most part reconnect over most people
- 36:55still experience numbness in those areas.
- 36:58The muscle can heal likely not as much as before depending on what
- 37:03she's doing to actually, you know, work out and regroup that muscle.
- 37:06But the lymphatic system is the one that bothers me the most because I'm
- 37:09like, you don't regrow that.
- 37:12And now you don't drain toxins the way you used to, which means that area
- 37:17becomes almost like a dumpster with no evacuation.
- 37:22I'm really out.
- 37:24It's it's and again, going back to the device.
- 37:27This helps train the lymphatic system helps to reconnect areas that have been
- 37:31disconnected literally helps get deeper into our fascists who are working
- 37:35those muscles that you can't normally get literally connects the brain,
- 37:38the body together.
- 37:39So you can reconnect that on a physical level much as the emotional level to
- 37:42feel what you need to feel.
- 37:44And let's not like forget, like if you, depending on the surgeon,
- 37:48then you have maybe not be doing the work that you need down there.
- 37:51So they might be doing the C section, but I can't even tell you how many of
- 37:53them in that I worked on were they end up having like an extra like
- 37:58having like a blayer of skin or a little like bump or lump or whenever
- 38:02you're like, I don't understand why you saw me up this way.
- 38:04So then they have to go back and they get you know, a mommy makeover.
- 38:07And now you've been cut twice assuming you haven't already had two C sections.
- 38:12So you just keep on like layers, you know, we're from a hundred percent and
- 38:17this can help break through all that reset it, reconnect it, regulate the area,
- 38:22make you feel safe again in that area, but also help drain the area.
- 38:25Well, in scar tissue, I mean, we don't think about it that way,
- 38:28but scar tissue is actually a protective layer.
- 38:30I mean, that's the body recognizing there's been damage and it almost like
- 38:34coons the area and tell people that all the time.
- 38:37It's actually one of the things like when people come in, they'll be like,
- 38:40I'm a mess. I'm like, no, you're not a mess.
- 38:42You're limited and that's something that I got from a husband.
- 38:44I will say that I'll go and credit to that statement.
- 38:46But when people like, oh, I have more knots than anybody like you do,
- 38:50but you have to also stop faulting your knots for knots are there because
- 38:53they try to protect you from something.
- 38:54So whether it be a past injury, whether it was a car accident, whether it's
- 38:57stress, whether any kind of trauma that you have taken on,
- 39:01your body tried to create a protective layer.
- 39:03It created a shield to make you tougher in that area.
- 39:06So rather than faulting your body, thank your body and tell of his
- 39:08hydroleco and then from there works through that.
- 39:11That's it.
- 39:11Say the about pain.
- 39:12Like, you know, you think about a disease like leprosy as a sample.
- 39:15Like people are like, they don't know exactly what leprosy is,
- 39:18but it's a little with the inability to feel pain in areas.
- 39:21And with lepers end up with injuries because they didn't get a pain
- 39:25response to notice stop.
- 39:26When I put my hand out enough and I don't remove it because I don't
- 39:29feel pain, but pain is a is a protective response.
- 39:33Pain is not a punishment.
- 39:35And in all areas, like if you experience pain, it's because
- 39:39your body is trying to protect itself.
- 39:42And as you're saying, it compensates.
- 39:44And usually what we call injuries are just over compensation.
- 39:47I never said, I mean, that's a thing.
- 39:49And then you just continue to go to compensate that.
- 39:51The chiropractor that I go to in Boca, we're telling that you could
- 39:54have a car project.
- 39:55Sorry.
- 39:55You got a little bit of can you?
- 39:57Yeah.
- 39:58TV chiro in Boca, like we didn't connect my shoulder with so
- 40:02stiff one day.
- 40:03And it's like, and he got does all the warmups and all that
- 40:06everything else before you go in to make you more flexible.
- 40:09And then he immediately comes in and I'm like, well, my biggest
- 40:11presenting injury today is that my shoulder's really tired.
- 40:14It came to my neck and they, and it's funny because it's on
- 40:16that right side.
- 40:18He immediately went to my left yet and started working cross
- 40:21by powder.
- 40:21It was crossbody pattern, right?
- 40:23And it and I kind of, you know, I kind of laughed at first.
- 40:27It's okay.
- 40:27I do what he was doing.
- 40:28And I'm like, well, you know, it problems up here.
- 40:31And he starts, you know, he laughs because he knows I know
- 40:34what he's talking about.
- 40:35And he's just like, yep, that's why I'm down here because
- 40:38it is it's that this hurts because this is actually the
- 40:42injury and what feels bad up here is nothing more than a
- 40:45compensation for, you know, a tight hip or something else
- 40:50down there.
- 40:50It's, we do it all over the place and we call it injuries.
- 40:54If we call it pains.
- 40:55Like, and usually gets a no, just too much is on one side
- 40:58of the scale.
- 40:58And we need to balance the scare back out really.
- 41:00If you can't remove the injury, then you just counter
- 41:03balance it more weight on this side to fix that.
- 41:06Kiki, I fascinated talking about this stuff.
- 41:09I love the, I love PMF anyways.
- 41:12I love what you do.
- 41:13I'd experienced it more than once now.
- 41:14So I absolutely would recommend it.
- 41:17I know people would be interested in hearing about this.
- 41:21Where would people get in contact with you to learn more
- 41:25about EQ Flux also about you and your practice and your
- 41:30next nurse.
- 41:31They can find me on Instagram at PMF Pilates.
- 41:35Our website, eqfluxlave.com or even our Instagram.
- 41:40I literally get a jaw at it.
- 41:42That's a good answer for your thoughts.
- 41:45You know that.
- 41:46Yeah, it's been so good to sit down and talk to you about
- 41:50this stuff without, you know, laying on a bed being
- 41:53tangled up.
- 41:54See, I, I mean, it's like I'm not getting electricity
- 41:57this time, but if you brought the machine, I hate to
- 41:59say, that's amazing.
- 42:00Yes.
- 42:01Oh, but no, it's been amazing sitting talking to you.
- 42:04PMF is one of the words that I think people here have thrown
- 42:07around a lot, but no one really understands it.
- 42:10So my gratitude to Kiki Cordero draped for expanding on this
- 42:15topic and explaining what PMF is.
- 42:17And literally as we talk about on here a lot, it's, it's
- 42:20not magic.
- 42:21It's literally helping restore cellular energy so that your body is
- 42:25able to tap into the innate intelligence that it already has.
- 42:29Your body is wired for survival.
- 42:32All we have to do in so many cases, get out of the way.
- 42:36It's not about a prescription.
- 42:38It's not about a surgery.
- 42:39It's not about anything else literally about putting the
- 42:42energy back in your body so that your body is able to do what
- 42:45it does.
- 42:46Like jumping that car battery so that the car is able to start
- 42:49on its own without having to put jumper cables on every
- 42:52time we want to move the car.
- 42:53Kiki, again, thank you so much.
