Lujo Carries Grandfather’s Legacy to MLB | Georgia Bulldogs Football News
Rylan Lujo, a Georgia Bulldog outfielder and fourth-round MLB Draft pick by the Los Angeles Angels, is turning his late grandfather’s legacy into a career—Rennie Stennett, the only player in modern baseball history to go 7-for-7 in a game, lives on through Lujo’s every at-bat. With a disciplined approach, elite walk-to-strikeout ratio, and conference-leading .394 average, Lujo thrives under pressure and honors his grandfather by writing “seven-for-seven” under his cap before every game.
