- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know right, good morning, Thank
- 0:04Speaker 1: you so much for starting your Wednesday with us.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Ricky Sanchez is right here with those three things, presented
- 0:09Speaker 1: by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Russell Crowe is defending himself after a video is making
- 0:14Speaker 3: its rounds online of him calling out people who are
- 0:17Speaker 3: looking for autographs. So there's a pretty tense video of
- 0:20Speaker 3: Russell Crowe showing him confronting autograph seekers in Paris. He
- 0:24Speaker 3: was telling fans to give everybody space. He even refused
- 0:28Speaker 3: to do one of the requests for an autograph. Somebody
- 0:31Speaker 3: asked him to sign Maximus. It's kind of makes sense.
- 0:34Speaker 3: The clip made its way online and led to a
- 0:36Speaker 3: lot of people accusing him of losing his patience with
- 0:38Speaker 3: fans and having a temper. Honestly, even though it's tense,
- 0:42Speaker 3: I don't feel like it's aggressive. He's broken his silence
- 0:45Speaker 3: to push back on that narrative by calling the footage
- 0:48Speaker 3: clickbait and insisting the situation stayed under control. He confirmed
- 0:51Speaker 3: that everybody got their autograph and selfie. He even managed
- 0:55Speaker 3: the crowd alone without security. Nobody was around him, so
- 0:58Speaker 3: he was doing all of this by himself, trying to
- 1:00Speaker 3: make sure that everybody got what they needed and that everything,
- 1:02Speaker 3: you know, was calm, cool and collective. He even said
- 1:05Speaker 3: that he still made his way to the airport on time,
- 1:08Speaker 3: which is actually pretty impressive. If you see the video,
- 1:12Speaker 3: you'll get a little more context. Like I said, I
- 1:15Speaker 3: personally don't feel like it's all that aggressive. I think
- 1:17Speaker 3: it's just a man who's being swarm by people trying
- 1:20Speaker 3: to get to the airport, and also still trying to
- 1:22Speaker 3: do right by people.
- 1:23Speaker 4: So take it for what it's worth.
- 1:26Speaker 3: BNA will soon transition to cashless parking beginning July first.
- 1:30Speaker 3: The garage will have a cashless way.
- 1:34Speaker 4: For you to pay.
- 1:35Speaker 3: That means that you can't go up to those little machines, can't.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Go up to a person and pay in cash.
- 1:39Speaker 3: They are going to have cashed card machines available so
- 1:43Speaker 3: you can convert your cash into a prepaid card that
- 1:46Speaker 3: could be used for parking for anyone who doesn't have
- 1:48Speaker 3: a credit card available. They hope that this streamlines the
- 1:52Speaker 3: parking experience. It sounds like a lot of extra steps
- 1:55Speaker 3: if you don't have a credit card, so I don't
- 1:58Speaker 3: know how streamlined it's gonna be per se, but BNA
- 2:01Speaker 3: is consistently making upgrades and consistently trying new things at
- 2:05Speaker 3: the airport to try and make everything as smooth as possible.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So we will see. Just something to keep in mind
- 2:10Speaker 3: that you will not be able to pay with cash
- 2:12Speaker 3: starting July first, and mister Rogers Forever.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Stamps are coming back.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Yes, the United States Postal Service announced the winner of
- 2:20Speaker 3: their stamp Encore contest and mister Rogers won.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So the stamp was originally rolled.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Out in twenty eighteen. It sold out so fast. Everybody
- 2:29Speaker 3: loved it because everybody loves mister Rogers obviously. So you
- 2:32Speaker 3: can start buying the mister Rogers Forever stamps on June first,
- 2:36Speaker 3: or really soon. You can get it online and at
- 2:38Speaker 3: post offices nationwide. Buy them now, because those Forever stamps
- 2:42Speaker 3: are consistently getting more expensive, and they know it sounds
- 2:46Speaker 3: insane because you're probably like, I don't really send mail
- 2:48Speaker 3: that often. Just buy a sleeve of them and have
- 2:51Speaker 3: them why as.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Many as you possibly can, as many as your budget
- 2:54Speaker 1: will allow, seriously.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Because eventually they're going to be cost twenty dollars a stamp.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those the three things.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You need to know. We always say, I never take
- 3:02Speaker 1: our own advice on that though, but we.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Have some you do okay, good ramps.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Good for you, Good for you, Gizella Langley. We do
- 3:09Speaker 1: have Charlie Pooth tickets on the way there she is.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She went away for a second. She's back. Charlie Pooth.
- 3:14Speaker 1: By the way, I send down patheater if you want,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I mean, can get her at about ten minutes. First
- 3:17Speaker 1: caller of the Daii's tickets are yours.
- 3:19Speaker 5: Next time the river, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 3:24Speaker 5: the morning on the river.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's Zara Larson, lush life. It's one O seven to
- 3:29Speaker 1: five the river. Now, my friends, the moment of truth
- 3:33Speaker 1: Katie in Nashville is supposedly on the line. We didn't
- 3:36Speaker 1: have access to our phones yesterday. Katie, are you there?
- 3:38Speaker 1: Can you hear us?
- 3:40Speaker 3: I am by god the amount of technical difficulties we
- 3:45Speaker 3: go through on the daily, it's actually insane, insane, And
- 3:49Speaker 3: I'm so happy that this one has been fixed.
- 3:52Speaker 6: Yes, perfect, Yeah, I'm so glamed.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Good what do you doing, Katie? Tell us everything?
- 3:57Speaker 7: Him rotting into works this morning.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Let's all back.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Back from the beach.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Which beach were you at?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Oh?
- 4:06Speaker 3: My god, I'm jealous.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I used to throw down at PCB.
- 4:11Speaker 3: They still talk about Zach.
- 4:14Speaker 1: What was the occasion, Katie? What's to get out there?
- 4:16Speaker 1: Just like end of school year? And what was it?
- 4:18Speaker 2: Oh?
- 4:18Speaker 7: No, we're growing up.
- 4:20Speaker 3: No, we just did a girls girls weekend in CCB
- 4:24Speaker 3: for memorially weekend. I love that.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I also love the response of oh no, we're adults.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Grow I don't know.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Uh?
- 4:33Speaker 1: And what's your job? What are you doing? What are
- 4:35Speaker 1: you doing now on your way to work? What do
- 4:36Speaker 1: you do? I'm an so dang cool.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Well, then we're very happy that you got a nice
- 4:41Speaker 3: little break and you got some time with your friends
- 4:43Speaker 3: so that you can feel rejuvenated and ready to go
- 4:45Speaker 3: back to work. Because that's tough.
- 4:47Speaker 7: I have a tan. I really can't complain at this point.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Well, Carol, the way a tan will change my entire
- 4:52Speaker 3: outlook on life.
- 4:54Speaker 4: The amount of times that I've looked in the mirror
- 4:56Speaker 4: and I'm.
- 4:56Speaker 3: Like, ugh, not great today, and then i get a
- 4:58Speaker 3: tan and I'm like, wow, girl, you are killing it. Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 3: nobody can tell you anything.
- 5:03Speaker 7: Today truly changes.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Panama City Beach is kind of like a lawless, like
- 5:08Speaker 1: crazy wild West place. Did you run into any medical
- 5:11Speaker 1: emergencies where you were like, I'm a nurse, I can help.
- 5:14Speaker 6: No, And thankfully my other friends were nurses too, but
- 5:16Speaker 6: we were all off duty, well.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Being off duty. If somebody's choking, are you gonna be
- 5:22Speaker 1: gonna jump on duty?
- 5:23Speaker 6: I mean if nobody else will, But.
- 5:27Speaker 3: She doesn't want to, Kevin, if you're on vacation, they go, oh,
- 5:29Speaker 3: you know, we really, we really need somebody on the
- 5:31Speaker 3: radio right now to tell about this emergency that's happening.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Are you gonna volunteer on vacation?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Hell?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yeah, you're a liar, liar, you are not gonna do that.
- 5:41Speaker 3: You're like, I'm on vacation right now. You don't even
- 5:43Speaker 3: want to do it when you have to do.
- 5:44Speaker 1: You don't like vacations. I can't relax. I'd like to Okay, anyway, Katie,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you're the first caller of that. I feel like we're
- 5:50Speaker 1: too excited about our phones working. We haven't even told
- 5:52Speaker 1: you that.
- 5:52Speaker 6: Congratulations, Yay, thank you, guys.
- 5:55Speaker 3: You're so welcome. You're gonna see Charlie Pooth on June
- 5:58Speaker 3: ninth at a said amphitheater one of your friends. Get
- 6:01Speaker 3: ready to go, and hopefully you guys have a really
- 6:02Speaker 3: nice night that night, and the rain is gone by
- 6:04Speaker 3: that point.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Thank you, thank you so much.
- 6:07Speaker 1: We've got more of these tickets, same time tomorrow, and
- 6:10Speaker 1: the real good news is here. Our phones work.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Kyle Loulja, Ricky, is, Zach and Mano in the Morning
- 6:17Speaker 5: on the River.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I went to see a movie last night, Ricky and Zach.
- 6:22Speaker 1: It's one of seven to five the River, one of.
- 6:23Speaker 3: The horror movies that you're really excited about. It's a
- 6:26Speaker 3: good month for horror movies and you've been freaking out
- 6:29Speaker 3: about it.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Back Rooms is not out yet. But I saw Obsession,
- 6:31Speaker 1: which is just people are going crazy for this movie
- 6:34Speaker 1: because it's made so much money. It's budget was so tiny. Anyway,
- 6:37Speaker 1: went love the movie. I'll tell you about that. But
- 6:39Speaker 1: I had the worst possible time. Oh okay, it was
- 6:45Speaker 1: not great. I'll uh, I'll tell you, I tell you what.
- 6:49Speaker 1: My movie experience was awful. Next to the River. Thanks
- 6:54Speaker 1: for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Is Zach and Mano in the Morning on the River.
- 6:59Speaker 3: I was noted for Kevin to tell us that, while
- 7:03Speaker 3: he enjoyed the movie he went to the other day,
- 7:05Speaker 3: he had the worst time ever. So I'm really excited
- 7:07Speaker 3: to he in not a mean way. It's Rickie Zacamano
- 7:11Speaker 3: in the morning on one of seven five the River.
- 7:13Speaker 3: You saw a movie you've been looking forward to for
- 7:15Speaker 3: a really long time, and you loved it.
- 7:16Speaker 1: When last night with a buddy of mine we saw Obsession,
- 7:18Speaker 1: I thought it was great. If you if you can
- 7:20Speaker 1: handle like horror stuff, you're gonna love this movie. It
- 7:23Speaker 1: was really, really good.
- 7:24Speaker 4: It's getting great reviews.
- 7:25Speaker 3: You've been very excited to see a bunch.
- 7:26Speaker 4: Of horror movies. I'm hyped for you.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Thank you. Where did it go wrong? This has never
- 7:30Speaker 1: happened to me before. It was a pack theater, completely
- 7:33Speaker 1: full theater. Guys. From the moment I sat down until
- 7:38Speaker 1: laying in bed last night, I had the hiccups, hiccup
- 7:43Speaker 1: over the entire movie. I couldn't do anything about it.
- 7:48Speaker 1: First of all, they played me all day yesterday. I
- 7:52Speaker 1: got home from work, took a nap, woke up, had
- 7:55Speaker 1: the hiccups until I went to bed last night, like
- 7:57Speaker 1: off and on throughout the day. I was trying to
- 7:58Speaker 1: do some work on my computer and my I was like,
- 8:00Speaker 1: please go in thear the room. I couldn't stop hiccupping,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and then you're like, what causes hiccups? I don't know. Later,
- 8:06Speaker 1: I went to take my son to his like swim
- 8:08Speaker 1: classidy as every week. I had to leave the building
- 8:10Speaker 1: because I couldn't stop pickupping, and it was I was
- 8:12Speaker 1: like causing a distraction. Everybody's looking at me.
- 8:15Speaker 3: Well, I was just about to say, you sound like
- 8:16Speaker 3: the worst person ever. If you were hiccupping in a
- 8:18Speaker 3: movie that I was a dude, I would I would
- 8:21Speaker 3: literally turn to you and say.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Leave the room. I hated it. I did. I got up.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I left. I tried to like do some breathing exercises
- 8:28Speaker 1: in the hall. I got water. I was like standing
- 8:30Speaker 1: on my toes and my head back drinking all the
- 8:32Speaker 1: things you've ever heard of do about hiccups. I was
- 8:34Speaker 1: doing them, and I couldn't get rid of them. So
- 8:36Speaker 1: I just sat in my seat. I was on the
- 8:37Speaker 1: end of an aisle, thankfully and pretty spacious you know seats,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and I just had my mouth like buried in my
- 8:42Speaker 1: shirt the whole time. Is like the entire movie. I
- 8:47Speaker 1: could not turn them off.
- 8:49Speaker 3: So you were audibly letting them out though, too, because
- 8:51Speaker 3: you can close your mouth and try.
- 8:52Speaker 4: And hold them in.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I was doing my best.
- 8:55Speaker 8: I feel bad for you, but I also feel worse
- 8:57Speaker 8: for everyone else in the theater that had to hear it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Read Yeah, I do too, I mean I wanted to.
- 9:02Speaker 3: That's also the worst nightmare, because then you are causing
- 9:05Speaker 3: an inconvenience for everyone around you, and you know that
- 9:08Speaker 3: everyone then is like this guy.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I know, I.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Know, I.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Personally reimbers every single person that theaized. Oh but the
- 9:19Speaker 1: movie was good, obsession. It's in theaters now. I had
- 9:22Speaker 1: a great time.
- 9:23Speaker 3: If you, this is actually a great like selling point
- 9:25Speaker 3: for the movie. If you, the person who hates situations
- 9:30Speaker 3: like that and making awkward encounters, can get through the.
- 9:33Speaker 4: Movie with hiccups and still.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Say the movie was the best thing ever. That's a selling.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Point for that movie. I see it again without hiccups.
- 9:42Speaker 1: I'm so glad your hiccups are gone today. Thank you
- 9:45Speaker 1: say that much.
- 9:46Speaker 3: I'm actually kind of not happy.
- 9:47Speaker 1: When I was driving in, I had a couple and
- 9:49Speaker 1: I was so panicked. They quickly went away, so let's
- 9:52Speaker 1: hope they're they're gone for good.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Three things you need to know.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Here we go, just after seven o'clock. Thank you so
- 10:00Speaker 1: much for starting your day with us Ricky's Got Those
- 10:02Speaker 1: Three Things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Olivia Rodrigo says that her third album, You Seem Pretty
- 10:08Speaker 3: Sad for a Girl So in Love, is divided into
- 10:11Speaker 3: two themed parts. Those two parts will be Girl So
- 10:14Speaker 3: in Love and You Seem Pretty Sad. She shared a
- 10:18Speaker 3: track list to social media, and she split them in
- 10:20Speaker 3: half so you can see where each song is. Her
- 10:23Speaker 3: single drop Dead is part of Girl So in Love
- 10:26Speaker 3: and her latest single The Cure is part of You
- 10:28Speaker 3: Seem Pretty Sad. Just give you an idea of where
- 10:31Speaker 3: each side is going. She previously described the album as
- 10:34Speaker 3: full of quote sad love songs. That's the vibe we're
- 10:37Speaker 3: going for. Full album drops June twelfth, and you can
- 10:40Speaker 3: see the other songs that are on the album listed
- 10:43Speaker 3: in her Instagram post. I'll repost it to one of
- 10:45Speaker 3: seven five the River's Instagram account.
- 10:47Speaker 4: You can see it in the stories.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Marco Cafe and Barr's last day of service is Friday,
- 10:52Speaker 3: June fifth. That's next Friday that will mark exactly twenty
- 10:56Speaker 3: five years after it opened in East Nashville.
- 10:59Speaker 4: They're going to celebrate the.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Day after on the six from two to eight pm
- 11:03Speaker 3: with food, trucks, drinks, and live music, a big community gathering,
- 11:06Speaker 3: which is really nice and very Nashville, very East Nashville.
- 11:09Speaker 3: A really cool moment and a very cool thing to
- 11:12Speaker 3: do for everybody in the area. So if you're available,
- 11:15Speaker 3: go show them some love beforehand, or show up on
- 11:18Speaker 3: the sixth and show them some love on that day too.
- 11:21Speaker 3: And we're getting a Paddington four, fourth Paddington movie. It's coming.
- 11:27Speaker 3: The minds behind the writing of Veep and the thick
- 11:29Speaker 3: of It are the ones who are going to be
- 11:31Speaker 3: writing the screenplay for Paddington for so it's going to
- 11:33Speaker 3: be very interesting on where this goes. It's still super early.
- 11:36Speaker 3: We don't have any plot details or casting or anything
- 11:39Speaker 3: like that. We just know it's got a green light
- 11:42Speaker 3: to go, so you can expect that at some point
- 11:44Speaker 3: within the next few years. I'll keep you updated as
- 11:46Speaker 3: we get more information. I'm Rique Sanchez and those are
- 11:49Speaker 3: the three things.
- 11:50Speaker 4: You need to know.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Thank you, Ricky. Very excited about Paddington for I like
- 11:52Speaker 1: those Paddington movies. Appreciate that we are learning together. Next
- 11:56Speaker 1: a few minutes away, Zach's facts. On this Wednesday morning,
- 11:59Speaker 1: We've got I got a good one for you coming
- 12:01Speaker 1: on the River.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Class is in Sessions.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Sacks Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate
- 12:07Speaker 3: on the River.
- 12:09Speaker 8: Well, Kevin was just complaining about having hiccups all day yesterday,
- 12:12Speaker 8: so I had to look up what causes hiccups?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Please? Okay?
- 12:16Speaker 8: So apparently everyday triggers include eating and drinking, so eating
- 12:19Speaker 8: too much or too fast and then chewing gum, smoking
- 12:24Speaker 8: or experiencing laughing fits.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Maybe we were too funny yesterday.
- 12:28Speaker 4: I think that's what it was.
- 12:32Speaker 8: And then sudden temperature changes. All of those can cause hiccups,
- 12:35Speaker 8: which I didn't know about.
- 12:36Speaker 1: The temperature changes.
- 12:37Speaker 3: See, none of those seemed to be striking a bell
- 12:39Speaker 3: for him, being like, oh, yes, that's what it is.
- 12:41Speaker 4: It had to be the.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Giggles, it had to be uh, you know, I'd rather
- 12:44Speaker 1: say that I smoked a peg of cigarettes and give
- 12:46Speaker 1: you guys credit for that. Woah, And there's your fact
- 12:49Speaker 1: of the day.
- 12:49Speaker 5: Kevin is a black Zach, Ricky Zach and Manno in
- 12:55Speaker 5: the morning.
- 12:56Speaker 3: On Centennial High School and Frankland High School get redos
- 13:02Speaker 3: for their graduation. It's Ricky, Zac and Mano in the
- 13:05Speaker 3: Morning on one oh seven five the River. They had
- 13:08Speaker 3: crazy heavy rains that just poured down on them for
- 13:12Speaker 3: their high school graduations. Videos of is gone. I've gone viral.
- 13:16Speaker 3: People are talking about it across the country because of
- 13:18Speaker 3: how intense it was.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Well kind of save our opinions, But yeah, I think
- 13:22Speaker 1: they should get a redo, and I think some people
- 13:23Speaker 1: should maybe lose their jobs for green lighting the six
- 13:26Speaker 1: one five, seven, three, seven nine, one oh seven. How
- 13:29Speaker 1: do you feel about these kids and their poor graduation?
- 13:32Speaker 1: They were flooded out. Should they get a redo? That's
- 13:35Speaker 1: our question?
- 13:36Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on seven
- 13:40Speaker 5: five the River, Centennial High and Franklin High have really
- 13:44Speaker 5: gone viral for their graduations.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Just torrential downpours. It went on, you know, the proceeded
- 13:50Speaker 1: as planned, which uh summer questioning it's one oh seven
- 13:54Speaker 1: five the River. We're asking how you feel about it?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Should they get a redo? Sandra? What do you think?
- 13:59Speaker 7: I don't think they should do it?
- 14:00Speaker 2: Oh?
- 14:01Speaker 3: Okay, why not?
- 14:02Speaker 7: Because the moment has passed. It would be like we're
- 14:05Speaker 7: doing a wedding. It's already been done. The moment has passed,
- 14:09Speaker 7: that ship has failed. And another reason is most of
- 14:14Speaker 7: the kids. If you noticed in the video they loved this.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe the redo might be more for the parents
- 14:19Speaker 1: because they put a lot into it. You know, these kids,
- 14:22Speaker 1: some of them got like really dulled up, furious.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I agree with the parents. I'd be furious.
- 14:29Speaker 7: I'd be ready to go to jail.
- 14:32Speaker 3: We can picture that. Actually, I picture that in my head.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Ye.
- 14:36Speaker 7: No, I look really good in ours, I'll tell you that.
- 14:38Speaker 7: But that's the whole other thing. But seriously, I saw
- 14:42Speaker 7: the news, I saw the videos, and the kids were
- 14:44Speaker 7: loving it. They were jumping up and done high fogging
- 14:47Speaker 7: and all kinds of stuff.
- 14:48Speaker 3: It did look like I did see some videos where
- 14:50Speaker 3: it looked like the kids sitting careen, then other videos
- 14:52Speaker 3: where they looked really sad. So I think it just
- 14:55Speaker 3: appeared on the kid And obviously that makes sense because
- 14:58Speaker 3: some of them have put a lot into this and
- 15:00Speaker 3: cared that it was raining so much, and I think
- 15:02Speaker 3: others were just like, thank god, this is done. Like
- 15:05Speaker 3: you said, the moment has passed, we graduated, We don't
- 15:08Speaker 3: have to worry about it anymore.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Onto the next thing.
- 15:10Speaker 7: Yeah, that's my two sent Sandra, Thank you so much,
- 15:13Speaker 7: Love you guys.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Thank you honestly, I agree with her. Do not redo
- 15:18Speaker 1: it for me.
- 15:19Speaker 8: It makes it more iconic, Like whenever you tell about
- 15:21Speaker 8: your graduation story, now you can be like, oh my god, remember,
- 15:24Speaker 8: and like you can pull up all of the news
- 15:26Speaker 8: articles of a torrential downpour and it makes it more iconic.
- 15:29Speaker 8: And also now you have all of the summer to
- 15:32Speaker 8: look forward to. Now when they try and reschedule it,
- 15:34Speaker 8: when they try and redo everything, like now I have
- 15:36Speaker 8: to go back to this place, Like if I were graduating,
- 15:38Speaker 8: I would not want to go back, like I'm done.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean that makes sense.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I just don't know why they allow this to happen.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Like they said rain or shine, but this was an
- 15:47Speaker 1: extreme amount of rain. I think maybe just rescheduling it
- 15:50Speaker 1: would have been the best idea.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's hard in those situations because obviously
- 15:54Speaker 3: you have one set day to do this, to get
- 15:57Speaker 3: everybody at the same place and everything, you know, set
- 16:00Speaker 3: up the right way. So it's hard to be like,
- 16:03Speaker 3: all right, JK, it's canceled. If they canceled it, they
- 16:05Speaker 3: probably wouldn't have done it another day. They just wouldn't
- 16:08Speaker 3: have gotten a graduation.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Well, I want to move it inside you know, just
- 16:11Speaker 1: have everybody stand up in a weird The hard part.
- 16:14Speaker 3: About that, I'm playing Devil's advocate here. Hard part about
- 16:16Speaker 3: that is that not everyone's going to be able to
- 16:19Speaker 3: legally fit inside of whatever room they have because there's.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Not going to be enough tickets for everybody.
- 16:23Speaker 8: Also, all of the kids that are graduating, there's probably
- 16:25Speaker 8: like three hundred and fifty people that are graduating. Imagine
- 16:28Speaker 8: that plus all of their families trying to move inside.
- 16:31Speaker 1: That's chaos. Less chaotic than what actually happened, though now
- 16:34Speaker 1: they were just sitting in their seats in the rain.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I don't think there was a good way to go
- 16:37Speaker 3: about it, guys. I'm just gonna be so honest with you.
- 16:40Speaker 3: I think it was one of those freak situations that
- 16:42Speaker 3: there was no positive way to like handle this at all.
- 16:46Speaker 3: I do think anybody that is upset should get all
- 16:49Speaker 3: dolled up again, take pictures, have your moment where like
- 16:53Speaker 3: you look pretty and you feel good kind of thing,
- 16:56Speaker 3: and kind of call it a day. Like Zach said,
- 16:58Speaker 3: it's a great story for late. It feels like the
- 17:01Speaker 3: end of the world right now.
- 17:02Speaker 4: For these kids and these parents.
- 17:04Speaker 3: But ten years from now, I don't remember my high
- 17:07Speaker 3: school graduation.
- 17:07Speaker 4: I didn't even want to go yeaheah.
- 17:10Speaker 8: I just read a quote from one of the kids
- 17:12Speaker 8: that was graduating that's going to become a firefighter after
- 17:14Speaker 8: graduation said the downpour actually bonded him and his classmates.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Six one, five, seven, three, seven nine seven. If you
- 17:20Speaker 1: have an opinion or if you were affected, we'd love
- 17:22Speaker 1: to hear from. Thanks for being a part of.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Our morning, Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Lisa and Chapel Hill, Welcome to one oh seven five
- 17:30Speaker 3: the River. We're talking about the graduation situation.
- 17:34Speaker 4: That's what I'm calling it from now on.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I like it.
- 17:36Speaker 4: Centennial High, Franklin High.
- 17:38Speaker 3: They had the craziest downpour for their graduations and they
- 17:42Speaker 3: all had to graduate outside in said downpour. What do
- 17:46Speaker 3: you think about this, Lisa, because we're kind of having
- 17:47Speaker 3: a little debate on whether or not they should get
- 17:49Speaker 3: a redo or not.
- 17:50Speaker 6: Well, I'm pretty to a little information that I wondered
- 17:53Speaker 6: if you all knew that the faculty I maintain allowed
- 17:57Speaker 6: it to come back the next day to have their
- 18:00Speaker 6: pictures taken. They set up, so I thought that was
- 18:05Speaker 6: a great at chance.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Do you know what your school you're talking about here?
- 18:08Speaker 1: Which one did that?
- 18:09Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not sure.
- 18:12Speaker 3: About Franklin, Okay, Centennial did That's it's a great way
- 18:15Speaker 3: to kind of try to make the situation a little
- 18:17Speaker 3: bit better is give them an opportunity to come back,
- 18:20Speaker 3: because that's what I was saying. All you really care
- 18:22Speaker 3: about are like pictures and the vibe, and then you
- 18:25Speaker 3: have those forever and they got to still do that.
- 18:28Speaker 3: I kind of think that's a good way of making
- 18:30Speaker 3: up for it. You can't redo a whole graduation.
- 18:32Speaker 1: I think it's impossible. But how do you dry a
- 18:34Speaker 1: cap in twenty four hours? Oh my god, you can't
- 18:38Speaker 1: put that thing in the dryers act.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I don't know, Kevin. Maybe they had new caps for them,
- 18:44Speaker 3: or they figured out something.
- 18:45Speaker 4: I'm sure they figured out maybe, Lisa, do you work
- 18:51Speaker 4: in a school.
- 18:51Speaker 6: I don't. I used to teach you, but I don't know.
- 18:54Speaker 6: I went home to write my baby go.
- 18:56Speaker 4: But you understand, you get the vibe.
- 18:58Speaker 3: You understand how hard that can be in the situations.
- 19:01Speaker 3: But we appreciate you telling us all of that because
- 19:03Speaker 3: we had no idea that that was the thing.
- 19:04Speaker 4: They're not talking about it as much.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Right, right, the good parts are not talked about, you
- 19:09Speaker 6: know how it is, Oh yeah, towards the negative.
- 19:12Speaker 3: Well, thank you so much, Lisa, and we hope you
- 19:14Speaker 3: have a great day.
- 19:16Speaker 4: Bye.
- 19:17Speaker 1: I looked it up how to dry a graduation cap
- 19:19Speaker 1: and it says never put it in the clothes dryer.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Instead place it in its natural shape on a clean
- 19:24Speaker 1: dry towel to air dry in a well ventilated area.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And then it goes on with tassel care. There's a
- 19:29Speaker 1: whole thing that's fascinating.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Kevin.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Thank you so much for all that information.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yeah, if anybody needs help with tassel care, reach out
- 19:37Speaker 1: to me. But we are playing the game of the
- 19:39Speaker 1: day for Bonnaroo tickets next. Thanks for being a part
- 19:42Speaker 1: of our morning Ricky.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Zach and Meno in the Morning River.
- 19:46Speaker 3: It's Kevin Minnow's Game of the Day on one O
- 19:48Speaker 3: seven five the River. We're playing real or fake Bonnaroo
- 19:51Speaker 3: band for these tickets to go to Bonnaroo June eleventh
- 19:54Speaker 3: through the fourteenth in Manchester. You're going to see people
- 19:57Speaker 3: like Noah Khan, role model Kesha. They're so many great
- 20:00Speaker 3: people on the lineup this year per usual, and then
- 20:03Speaker 3: there's some names that you're wondering if they're.
- 20:05Speaker 1: Real bands or not sure. Some of the smaller fond
- 20:08Speaker 1: bands you you know, most likely never heard of, so
- 20:10Speaker 1: we like to make it confusing. We'll throw a few
- 20:13Speaker 1: of those at you. We'll throw some made up ones
- 20:16Speaker 1: at you. See if you can decipher Jennifer and Murphy's
- 20:19Speaker 1: burrow is on the line. How you doing, Jen?
- 20:21Speaker 2: I'm good.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I immediately regretted calling you Jen after I introduce you
- 20:25Speaker 1: with Jennifer's Jen. Okay, what would you prefer to go by?
- 20:28Speaker 8: You're good?
- 20:29Speaker 1: Okay, so I actually do it?
- 20:30Speaker 5: Good about Jen?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Great?
- 20:32Speaker 1: You need to get three out of five of these
- 20:34Speaker 1: right to win the Bannero tickets and a fun little twist.
- 20:37Speaker 1: If you want to consult Ricky and Zach for help,
- 20:40Speaker 1: they're here for you, Okay, Okay, they don't know. They're
- 20:42Speaker 1: not looking at the lineup. They don't know. I made
- 20:44Speaker 1: all these fake ones up. So here we go. Your
- 20:47Speaker 1: game starts right now. Jen will flip Turn be at
- 20:52Speaker 1: Bonnaroo this year. Flip Turn.
- 20:59Speaker 6: I need some helpe.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I'm not one.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Okay, you want to hope from us?
- 21:02Speaker 4: That's stressful.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I hate this so much. Jennifer sounds like it could
- 21:06Speaker 3: be a Bonnaroo band, like it sounds like a band
- 21:09Speaker 3: that could play at Bonnaroo.
- 21:10Speaker 1: I'm feeling no, you're.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Feeling no, Zach, and I'm feeling yes. So Jennifer, you
- 21:15Speaker 3: have to be the tiebreaker. I'm gonna say no, they're
- 21:18Speaker 3: not going to be there.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Unfortunately, they will be there, So that's strike. I'm sorry,
- 21:23Speaker 1: I'm sorry, stressful. Will the chats be there? The chats
- 21:28Speaker 1: C H A T S the chats? That is strike too, Jennifer, Oh.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Jf you gonna get the next three right?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Will Neon Prairie be at Bonnaroo this year?
- 21:48Speaker 2: No?
- 21:49Speaker 1: Okay, okay, you got that one right, correct, Okay, you
- 21:55Speaker 1: don't forget. You can turn to these two for help.
- 21:57Speaker 1: You Gottres, you're still alive.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Stres. You have a point on the board though.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Will Finn Holloway be performing at this year?
- 22:08Speaker 6: Oh?
- 22:08Speaker 1: God, Finn Holloway is he or she?
- 22:13Speaker 4: And you didn't ask for advice?
- 22:15Speaker 3: But I don't.
- 22:15Speaker 4: I don't think that sounds like a real person.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It doesn't feel it doesn't feel good. We actually carry
- 22:20Speaker 1: on something. So you're going with Ricky and Zach. Yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 1: you're right, he's a made up person or he you're
- 22:33Speaker 1: still alive. You need one more. You gotta get this
- 22:35Speaker 1: one right. Congress. The band will Congress. The band be
- 22:40Speaker 1: at Bannerou this year. Yeah, you will also be at.
- 22:54Speaker 2: It.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Sounds man, you're goody good, Oh my god, can't.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Very stressful when you get those first two wrong and
- 23:02Speaker 1: then pull it out like that, That's that's awesome way
- 23:05Speaker 1: to go. You're gonna be there, going to Bonaroo. Congratulations,
- 23:08Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 23:09Speaker 3: Congrats. I I feel like I need to go puke.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Honestly, stress just takes a lot out of them. Hang on,
- 23:16Speaker 1: so we get all your information to get you to
- 23:17Speaker 1: these tickets. But congrats, hang on, Okay, thank you.
- 23:21Speaker 3: I am like somehow hot and cold at the same time.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I have a lot of feelings.
- 23:26Speaker 1: Right now, same game, same time tomorrow for these tickets.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Three things you need to know.
- 23:31Speaker 1: It's just fast eight o'clock here on this Wednesday morning.
- 23:33Speaker 1: We really appreciate just starting your day with us. Rick.
- 23:36Speaker 1: He's got those three things. Presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Metro Police's drone as first Responder Programs starts this week
- 23:43Speaker 3: in Madison. Three drones are going to be stationed on
- 23:46Speaker 3: the roof of the building and they will respond to
- 23:48Speaker 3: emergency calls within a two mile radius of the building.
- 23:52Speaker 3: Police said that the drones will be used for active investigations,
- 23:56Speaker 3: missing persons cases, and major crashes, and the idea is
- 23:59Speaker 3: to give all officers real time information before they even
- 24:02Speaker 3: arrive on the scene. The drones will be operated remotely
- 24:05Speaker 3: by for Federal Aviation Administration certified officers at police headquarters
- 24:10Speaker 3: and Metro Police said the goal is to improve response
- 24:13Speaker 3: times as well, so they're going to give them real
- 24:16Speaker 3: time information and also improve response times, increase officer awareness,
- 24:20Speaker 3: things like that.
- 24:21Speaker 4: All that seemed like benefits for their cause. We'll see
- 24:24Speaker 4: how it all works out.
- 24:25Speaker 3: This is something that they've started to roll out across
- 24:28Speaker 3: Tennessee in different areas as a way to help improve
- 24:32Speaker 3: the community outreach of police. Sean Evans, the host of
- 24:36Speaker 3: Hot Ones, was finally on Keiki Palmer's podcast The moment
- 24:41Speaker 3: Everybody's been waiting for because it feels like forever since
- 24:45Speaker 3: she was on Hot Ones. And when she was on
- 24:48Speaker 3: hot Ones, if you remember, they got quite flirty.
- 24:52Speaker 4: There were a lot of moments that were clipped from.
- 24:54Speaker 3: That episode where everybody started to ship them as a
- 24:57Speaker 3: couple and everyone was like, oh my god, we need
- 24:59Speaker 3: this to happen, and I want someone to look at
- 25:01Speaker 3: me the way Sean Evans looks at Keiki Palmer. Those
- 25:03Speaker 3: are the constant memes that you saw all over the internet.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Now you've got even more of that because now everyone
- 25:08Speaker 3: is living for these new clips of the two of them.
- 25:11Speaker 4: Their chemistry is insane.
- 25:13Speaker 3: If the two of them do not just try to date,
- 25:17Speaker 3: at some point, I feel like it's it's a waste.
- 25:20Speaker 3: It's a waste of time. Love isn't even real. Why
- 25:22Speaker 3: even bother with anything? Fingers crossed that this leads to
- 25:25Speaker 3: something else. But Kiki Palmer's podcast is up available for
- 25:29Speaker 3: you to watch and listen to, so you can see
- 25:31Speaker 3: it for yourself. And if you have anxiety and you're
- 25:34Speaker 3: thinking about getting a pet, I have a list of
- 25:36Speaker 3: the dogs that help most with anxiety. So it turns
- 25:39Speaker 3: out anxiety disorders are one of the most common mental
- 25:42Speaker 3: health conditions in the US, so a lot of people
- 25:45Speaker 3: are going through this and a lot of people go
- 25:48Speaker 3: to pets for comfort. So research suggests that dogs can
- 25:52Speaker 3: help ease feelings of stress and anxiety. Some breeds are
- 25:55Speaker 3: better than others, though, So what science has found is
- 25:59Speaker 3: that new found Lynz. Labrador retrievers, Golden retrievers, poodles, and
- 26:03Speaker 3: greyhounds are the dogs that you want to get to
- 26:06Speaker 3: help you ease your anxiety. If that's something that you're
- 26:09Speaker 3: looking for. Greyhounds they're in there. Yeah, Zach, you have
- 26:13Speaker 3: Golden retrievers. They for sure ease your anxiety.
- 26:15Speaker 8: I feel like my dog, Emily, the Golden retriever, has
- 26:17Speaker 8: more anxiety than I do.
- 26:19Speaker 3: She like like leans on top of you and lays
- 26:22Speaker 3: on top of it. You will, Yeah, I think they're
- 26:26Speaker 3: very in tune with that.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I think so.
- 26:28Speaker 4: I'm rick Sanchez, and those are the three things.
- 26:29Speaker 3: You need to know.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the
- 26:35Speaker 5: river the summer.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Okay, I think it's funnel cake. I know a lot
- 26:38Speaker 3: of people think it's hot dogs. Fun fact. From Memorial
- 26:41Speaker 3: Day to Labor Day, Americans eat about seven billion hot dogs,
- 26:45Speaker 3: Oh my god, which is about eight hundred and eighteen
- 26:48Speaker 3: hot dogs per second. Who So a lot of people
- 26:53Speaker 3: think hot dogs are the official.
- 26:55Speaker 4: Food of the summer. I just I believe it's funnel cake.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Cake.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Funnel cake and the fair go hand in hand, and
- 27:02Speaker 3: the fair goes hand in hand with summer.
- 27:04Speaker 4: It just all wraps into a nice.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Little fun bow. You're not eating funnel cake any other
- 27:08Speaker 3: time of the year except for summer.
- 27:09Speaker 1: They sell other things at the fair the sunnel.
- 27:11Speaker 3: Cakes, of course, but that's the one time that you're
- 27:13Speaker 3: eating funnel cake. What are you eating funnel cake in January?
- 27:17Speaker 1: Are you judging me? No, that's like I go to
- 27:21Speaker 1: a baseball game in the summer, So a bag of
- 27:23Speaker 1: peanuts is the food of the summer.
- 27:25Speaker 3: You could say that, No, that's insane. Well, what do
- 27:28Speaker 3: you think is the food of the summer?
- 27:29Speaker 4: Kale?
- 27:29Speaker 1: Water carrots? I think watermelon, watermelono, like a nice big
- 27:33Speaker 1: slice of watermelon. That's screams summer. No, I will say,
- 27:39Speaker 1: in my mind, I think it's kabab's.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Oh, I like this.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Every time you go to like a grill, they have
- 27:48Speaker 1: a kebab. They have it at the fair.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Like if they do have a kebab, I'm gonna eat
- 27:52Speaker 3: a kabab.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Right, it's the food of the summer.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I don't hate that.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Onemelon Ta.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I like the.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Watermelon is first time I list. Second in my list
- 28:00Speaker 1: would be popsicles. How do you feel about popsicles? I
- 28:02Speaker 1: like the popsicles, not mad about it.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Obstacles is a good choice, that is. But is that food?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, obstacles are food. Do you eat it?
- 28:09Speaker 3: Popsicles are like liquid, it's not food.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Eat it?
- 28:13Speaker 3: Yeah, but you like lick it. It's not like food.
- 28:18Speaker 1: It's food.
- 28:19Speaker 3: I won't consider popsicle food, but whatever.
- 28:21Speaker 8: I do have an entire list of like the official fruit,
- 28:23Speaker 8: the official meal, the official treat of the.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Summer is the official fruit watermelon. It is, of course
- 28:28Speaker 3: it is.
- 28:28Speaker 1: It actually is on the list.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Of course.
- 28:31Speaker 8: The official meal is hot dogs and hamburgers, so they're
- 28:34Speaker 8: like synonymous.
- 28:35Speaker 1: You have to cook both of them.
- 28:36Speaker 8: You can't just have a hot dog like you have
- 28:38Speaker 8: to have a hot dog and a hamburger.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:41Speaker 1: The official apparently, of my mind, the official tree is
- 28:46Speaker 1: ice cream.
- 28:46Speaker 3: That makes sense.
- 28:47Speaker 8: And then the official seasonal produce is sweet corn and tomatoes.
- 28:52Speaker 1: Oh, I love some sweet corn.
- 28:55Speaker 3: Ooh, Jersey has the best corn on the cob. Guys,
- 28:59Speaker 3: it's so good.
- 29:00Speaker 4: Maybe it's just my mouth is watering my mouth, you know,
- 29:03Speaker 4: I didn't like that noise.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Have a wicked good summer. On one seven five the river.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Here's the next word in a wicked long sentence. All right,
- 29:12Speaker 1: here we go. Kind of a weird word. But your
- 29:14Speaker 1: word right now, violated. Violated, that is the word.
- 29:19Speaker 3: It's gonna make more sense when you have the full sentence. Okay,
- 29:23Speaker 3: So make sure that you are here listening to one
- 29:25Speaker 3: oh seven five of the river for your next word
- 29:27Speaker 3: at twelve forty.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Keep track of every word, so in one.
- 29:32Speaker 1: O seven the River.
- 29:34Speaker 3: I have no problem being entirely honest about the fact
- 29:37Speaker 3: that I.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Am horrific when it comes to math.
- 29:39Speaker 3: I cannot do mathematic equations in my head the way
- 29:42Speaker 3: that I wish I could. It's just the reality of
- 29:45Speaker 3: my life. And today's daily double tap is about the
- 29:48Speaker 3: situation when you're bad at math you get yourself into
- 29:51Speaker 3: when you're trying to figure something out as a group,
- 29:54Speaker 3: when it has to do with the math problem.
- 29:56Speaker 1: See if you can relate to the sea. If you're
- 29:58Speaker 1: a ricky in your group.
- 30:00Speaker 9: Just know that if we are ever in a situation
- 30:03Speaker 9: where we're both doing math in our head to figure
- 30:05Speaker 9: something out, I'm pretending and it's all completely on you.
- 30:08Speaker 9: I've become emotionally supportive instead of useful. Okay, I'll still participate, though,
- 30:12Speaker 9: you know I'll look upward, you know, I'll narrow my
- 30:16Speaker 9: eyes a little bit like you, maybe whisper a number
- 30:19Speaker 9: under my breath. So so it seems like processes are
- 30:21Speaker 9: occurring internally, they're not. I'm just buying time. I'm waiting
- 30:25Speaker 9: for you to figure it out. My participation is performative, okay.
- 30:28Speaker 9: I one of us is solving the problem and the
- 30:30Speaker 9: other is maintaining morale.

- 30:36Speaker 4: I'm got math always happened.
- 30:38Speaker 1: See, I'm on the offsite end of the spectrum. I
- 30:40Speaker 1: am proud of my math skills, and I always want
- 30:42Speaker 1: to be the first one to blurt out the answer
- 30:44Speaker 1: and like then be proud of the fact that I
- 30:46Speaker 1: figured it out.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Okay, seventy two divided by.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Thirty, well, that's not really, that's pretty hard me thirty
- 30:55Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Two point four seventy two divided by twelve, now.
- 31:00Speaker 1: That's more off my alley. I'm sick, hang in sick,
- 31:05Speaker 1: that's right. Six.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm so confident with your kill, Kevin.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I really, vision is not my strong.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Okay, my bad.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You try some addition or something, but there we go.

- 31:24Speaker 1: Give me one more, give me one more.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I'm done with you.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Mac seven times eight fifty six. Yeah, Cay, look at that.
