- 1:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm pretty proud of that one. It's you know,
- 1:05Speaker 2: we needed something special for our fiftieth edition, and I
- 1:09Speaker 2: think our designer, who is also named Katie, I think
- 1:13Speaker 2: she really crushed this one. It's beautiful. We've gone back
- 1:16Speaker 2: to metal to celebrate the fiftieth and yeah, it's lovely.
- 1:23Speaker 2: I got to say, yeah, it.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Does look really nice, Leanne. Tell us how many people
- 1:28Speaker 1: are you expecting to potentially take part this year?
- 1:33Speaker 2: Well, look where our stats are. We're beating our twenty
- 1:39Speaker 2: twenty one numbers, which we had roughly eighteen hundred people.

- 2:15Speaker 1: Oh? I need to register myself and my children and
- 2:19Speaker 1: make sure that I do that this afternoon, Leanne. It
- 2:22Speaker 1: is always a wonderful event. Just a reminder to those
- 2:25Speaker 1: who haven't taken part before, there's a few different races
- 2:28Speaker 1: that they can take part in as well. Isn't there
- 2:31Speaker 1: that is correct.
- 2:32Speaker 2: So we have our traditional twelve point seven kilometers starting
- 2:37Speaker 2: at Double Tree Hilton in the city on the Esplanade,
- 2:40Speaker 2: finishing at Nightcliff. Then we have our four kilometer Administrators Run,
- 2:45Speaker 2: starting and finishing at Nightcliffe Foreshore, our four kilometer RFDS Walk,
- 2:51Speaker 2: and our marathon for kids which is one point two
- 2:54Speaker 2: kilometers starting and finishing at Nightclif offer.
- 2:59Speaker 1: All good stuff. Kids love the one point two kilometers.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I know that plenty of schools take part or get
- 3:04Speaker 1: involved as well, which is always fantastic to see.
- 3:08Speaker 2: That's right. And the great thing about the one point two,
- 3:12Speaker 2: of course, is the kids can run it independently. Mum
- 3:17Speaker 2: and dad can of course always follow along. Is that
- 3:20Speaker 2: is Mum and dad are feeling nervous, but it is
- 3:24Speaker 2: It's a safe course. The kids can just go like
- 3:28Speaker 2: that's out of hell. And of course coming under the
- 3:31Speaker 2: awesome finish line arch and getting one of those medals
- 3:34Speaker 2: at the end is always pretty exciting to see those kids.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is leanne Where can people go if
