- 0:01Speaker 1: Now seven wor presents no Mark Simon Shaw. Hey, it's Friday.
- 0:09Speaker 1: That's good news. It's Friday. Tomorrow. We go to daylight
- 0:13Speaker 1: Saving time tomorrow after midnight sus starting Sunday, light out
- 0:18Speaker 1: till six point thirty fifteen days until spring. All of
- 0:22Speaker 1: next week, it's going to be in the sixties. What
- 0:24Speaker 1: more could you ask for? Even warmer the week after
- 0:27Speaker 1: lots to get to today, we'll go over the Christy
- 0:30Speaker 1: Nome thing and what exactly happened there. We'll get the
- 0:33Speaker 1: latest on the war as we enter day seven. We'll
- 0:35Speaker 1: get here the jobs numbers came out. They're terrible, but
- 0:38Speaker 1: we'll get to why. Coming up, we'll get to Nancy
- 0:41Speaker 1: Guthrie and a whole lot more. Where to even start
- 0:46Speaker 1: Christin Nome? Hey, if you were listening yesterday at this time,
- 0:49Speaker 1: at exactly this time, remember I started telling you Christy
- 0:51Speaker 1: Nome would be fired later in the Sure enough she was,
- 0:55Speaker 1: and we told you that it'd be Mark Wayne Mullen
- 0:57Speaker 1: as probably the replacement. And it is Christinome. They were
- 1:04Speaker 1: keeping an eye on her anyway, and there were a
- 1:05Speaker 1: lot of people in the administration pushing for her to
- 1:08Speaker 1: be gone. They didn't like the way she was running
- 1:10Speaker 1: the department, a number of things, a lot of ridiculous
- 1:13Speaker 1: spending on big, enormous private jets to fly her and
- 1:17Speaker 1: her you fill in the blank, Corey Lewandowski around. Everybody
- 1:25Speaker 1: seemed to know they were having some kind of affair. Now,
- 1:28Speaker 1: he does work in the department, So if you're the
- 1:30Speaker 1: head of the department and it's a subordinate, you're not
- 1:32Speaker 1: supposed to be sleeping with them. This is not the
- 1:36Speaker 1: good old Don Draper days. You can't do this stuff anymore.
- 1:41Speaker 1: So there were a lot of things that also Minnesota, Minneapolis,
- 1:47Speaker 1: she just riled up that situation to ridiculous levels. You
- 1:51Speaker 1: remember when Homan got there and was able to calm
- 1:53Speaker 1: things down quickly. That showed how bad the management of
- 1:57Speaker 1: it was by Christinome. They didn't like when she called
- 2:00Speaker 1: the the woman what was the name, Renee good here,
- 2:04Speaker 1: the protester who has killed a domestic terrorist. I mean
- 2:07Speaker 1: that was just over the top. And then remember she
- 2:10Speaker 1: originally said the protester was brandishing a weapon. Well they
- 2:13Speaker 1: weren't brandishing a weapon. So uh, sloppy, sloppy when it
- 2:17Speaker 1: comes to management a mess. Then she goes to these
- 2:20Speaker 1: hearings where she got torn apart first for this Corey Lewandowski. Now,
- 2:29Speaker 1: I think everybody kind of knew they were sleeping together,
- 2:32Speaker 1: and everybody and they didn't weren't good at keeping this
- 2:35Speaker 1: too secret. I mean you'd see them out carousing late
- 2:38Speaker 1: at night, getting drunk together. I mean they were. So
- 2:41Speaker 1: the hearings are taking place and they're asking about all
- 2:43Speaker 1: sorts of serious issues, and then the Corey Lewandowski stuff
- 2:47Speaker 1: comes up, and she can't answer it. She can't say
- 2:50Speaker 1: under oath, no, we're not having an affair, because it's
- 2:53Speaker 1: not true. If you can't, you know, they need a
- 2:54Speaker 1: perjury problem, especially if the Democrats get back in power.
- 2:58Speaker 1: So she was asked about it, she would all offended.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Of course, have you had sexual relations with Corey Lewandowski,
- 3:06Speaker 2: mister Sherman, I am shocked that we're going down and
- 3:09Speaker 2: peddling tabloid garbage in this committee today.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, let's be honest. If you weren't the secretary,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and if he didn't work there, and neither of you
- 3:20Speaker 1: were married and you didn't work together, who the helled
- 3:23Speaker 1: one who admit they were having sexual relations with Corey
- 3:25Speaker 1: lewin Downski. It doesn't sound good to begin with, but
- 3:28Speaker 1: under oath and she is his boss, it's not good.
- 3:30Speaker 1: So she was. They kept asking her over and over again.
- 3:32Speaker 3: I want to give you an opportunity to answer on
- 3:36Speaker 3: the record to Miss Camloger Dove's question.
- 3:39Speaker 4: I know you said it's garbage, and it may be,
- 3:40Speaker 4: but I really think you need to say the word
- 3:42Speaker 4: no into the record so that you can clear that up.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I think the ridiculousness of this and the tabloids that
- 3:48Speaker 2: you are quoting and referencing are insane. And this has
- 3:50Speaker 2: been the thing that I've refuted is that an hours
- 3:53Speaker 2: and I continue to do that.
- 3:55Speaker 4: So do not.
- 3:55Speaker 2: I would tell you is.
- 3:58Speaker 1: We can move on.
- 3:58Speaker 2: I'm not going to blabor it. This is what you do.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 4:02Speaker 3: I'm not doing anything.
- 4:04Speaker 1: She couldn't say no, so that was problem number one.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But the big problem was, and this is really the
- 4:12Speaker 1: final straw that got her fired, with the spending two
- 4:14Speaker 1: hundred and twenty million of taxpayer money two hundred and
- 4:19Speaker 1: twenty million on an ad campaign that supposedly was to
- 4:24Speaker 1: stop border crossing. It was supposedly to stop that, and
- 4:28Speaker 1: it was supposedly to tell illegals to self deport. They've
- 4:33Speaker 1: had some success with getting illegals to self deport and
- 4:35Speaker 1: then come back legally, so that was what she claimed.
- 4:38Speaker 1: The purpose was two hundred No, here's the real problem,
- 4:40Speaker 1: and the President Trump knew this, White House knew this.
- 4:44Speaker 1: She's running for president in twenty twenty eight. Okay, that's okay.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I don't think she has any chance. But everybody's running
- 4:51Speaker 1: for president in twenty twenty eight. It's the three quarters
- 4:55Speaker 1: of the cabinet want to do that. So she was
- 4:57Speaker 1: using this campaign, this ad campaign, and the two hundred
- 5:00Speaker 1: and twenty million of our money to run for president. Now,
- 5:04Speaker 1: if you're really trying to run ads to get these
- 5:08Speaker 1: illegals to self deport, you wouldn't be running them on Hannity.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I don't think a lot of illegal aliens are watching Hannity.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's a great show and it's the biggest show in
- 5:17Speaker 1: cable news, been number one for decades. But that's not
- 5:20Speaker 1: where you'd run the ads. On Univision. You'd find ways
- 5:24Speaker 1: to target to get it seen by illegals. Many of
- 5:28Speaker 1: them aren't even speaking English, so you could tell from
- 5:31Speaker 1: why would you run the ads on the number one
- 5:33Speaker 1: show Hannity because you're running for president? And the ads
- 5:37Speaker 1: all feature her all made up and glamorous, riding a horse,
- 5:41Speaker 1: beautiful scenery in the background. If you're trying to get
- 5:43Speaker 1: people to leave, why would you put all this beautiful
- 5:45Speaker 1: scenery in the background. So clearly there were campaign ads
- 5:49Speaker 1: for her two hundred and twenty million of taxpayer money.
- 5:52Speaker 1: Another thing about President Trump being a businessman and billionaire.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Businessmen are great at watching every penny. They're really good
- 6:01Speaker 1: at it. They know what things should cost, and even
- 6:04Speaker 1: out there in the campaign trail, the president would look
- 6:06Speaker 1: over every number and say to people, why are we
- 6:08Speaker 1: paying this much for this? Can't we pay less for that?
- 6:10Speaker 1: And it's not being cheap, it's just being a good businessman.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So when he found out about this two hundred and
- 6:17Speaker 1: twenty million that she spent, he actually said to somebody,
- 6:20Speaker 1: This was in private, but he said, who in twenty million?
- 6:23Speaker 1: I didn't spend that much on a presidential campaign. So
- 6:26Speaker 1: he was really mad about that. And the thing that
- 6:29Speaker 1: did her in the final straw in the hearing when
- 6:32Speaker 1: she was asked, did you get this approved? And he said, well, yeah,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I asked the President wanted me to get the messaging
- 6:37Speaker 1: out there. Yeah, But do you approve this particular campaign.
- 6:40Speaker 1: She said, yes, well that's a lie, and that really
- 6:45Speaker 1: did it for him, and she was fired here. This
- 6:48Speaker 1: was Senator Kennedy in the hearingsone.
- 6:50Speaker 3: It troubles me quarter a fifth to a quarter of
- 6:55Speaker 3: a billion dollars taxpayer money when we're scratching for every
- 7:00Speaker 3: penny and we're fighting over recission packages. I just can't
- 7:06Speaker 3: agree with Madam Sure Kerry, you still running those.
- 7:09Speaker 2: Ends, Senator. I did not have anything to do with
- 7:13Speaker 2: picking those contractors. I know politicals at the Department of
- 7:17Speaker 2: Homeland Security did it? Are you officials followed the competitive
- 7:21Speaker 2: bid process for everything. I think the ads are due
- 7:25Speaker 2: to end here in March. I think within a week,
- 7:27Speaker 2: which I'm not sure. The one that is running is
- 7:30Speaker 2: focusing on angel families.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Have you seen that nobody was buying any of that,
- 7:35Speaker 1: So she's going. You know, the president very careful not
- 7:38Speaker 1: to fire anybody. He's not a guy that likes to
- 7:39Speaker 1: fire people. I know, I'm the apprentice. You're fired, you're fired,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you fight, They've been in real life. He doesn't do that.
- 7:45Speaker 1: If you went over to the Trump organization, just about
- 7:48Speaker 1: everybody there's been there twenty thirty years so he's not
- 7:52Speaker 1: big on firing people, but there comes a time where
- 7:55Speaker 1: you got to fire somebody, and he did it with her.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Now a lot of people are saying who's next, because
- 8:00Speaker 1: once you get that first one out of the way,
- 8:03Speaker 1: the next couple come easier. Well, the betting odds are
- 8:06Speaker 1: if anybody's next, and not right away, but at some
- 8:09Speaker 1: point if anybody's next, Cash Petel. Third place would be
- 8:14Speaker 1: Pam Bondy, but that's probably probably down the road. So
- 8:19Speaker 1: she's gone. Mark Wayne Mullen will take over. And now
- 8:23Speaker 1: the reason they've had chosen him. There are a lot
- 8:25Speaker 1: of reasons, but one is the obviously the Senate will
- 8:29Speaker 1: not confirm anybody for Trump. They're going to give him
- 8:31Speaker 1: a hard time about everything. They're going to use the
- 8:34Speaker 1: hearings to grandstand, attack Trump and all of that. So
- 8:37Speaker 1: they knew they had to pick a senator because he's
- 8:40Speaker 1: one of the club there. They won't be as rough
- 8:42Speaker 1: on one of their own. And one reason for Mark
- 8:46Speaker 1: Wayne Mullen, he's a very very very friendly, good charming guy.
- 8:50Speaker 1: At work. He makes friends with everybody, Democrats, Republicans. He
- 8:55Speaker 1: goes to lunch with the Democrats, works out in the
- 8:57Speaker 1: gym with them. He's very very close to everybody, so
- 9:00Speaker 1: he's got a good shot at getting through the hearings.
- 9:03Speaker 1: That's why he was always the one in mind. He
- 9:05Speaker 1: got the call right after the Christine Home firing. I wasn't.
- 9:09Speaker 1: I've got to be honest with there.
- 9:10Speaker 4: I wasn't expecting the call today, but super excited and
- 9:14Speaker 4: I'm more excited about just ready to get started. There's
- 9:16Speaker 4: a lot of work we can do to get the
- 9:17Speaker 4: partner Homeland Security working, you know, working for the American people.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Mark Wayne Mullen who was before being the Senate,
- 9:25Speaker 1: he was in the House, so he knows everybody in Congress.
- 9:29Speaker 1: They'll probably have an easy time sailing through. Mark wayn
- 9:33Speaker 1: Mullen was't forget it was an MMA fighter, undefeated MMA
- 9:38Speaker 1: fighter and from Oklahoma, so he'll do a great job.
- 9:42Speaker 1: They'll straighten that all out. Hey, let's just get to
- 9:45Speaker 1: the war for a second. It's day seven update. We
- 9:49Speaker 1: have now eliminated ninety percent. It was eighty three percent
- 9:53Speaker 1: last night, so now ninety percent. We've taken out ninety
- 9:56Speaker 1: percent of Iran's offensive capability. They've only got ten percent
- 10:02Speaker 1: of the offense left. Missiles, drones, very very few left.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's going very well. We're only this is only in
- 10:11Speaker 1: day seven. To get ninety percent of their capability gone
- 10:14Speaker 1: in seven days is miraculous. Hey, let me just clear
- 10:18Speaker 1: up one thing. You're gonna hear this all the time
- 10:20Speaker 1: from the Democrats. This is an illegal war. Even Mamdani,
- 10:24Speaker 1: even crazy kooky Mamdani, the war is illegal, it's unconstitutional.
- 10:28Speaker 1: There's absolutely no truth to that. The president is in
- 10:32Speaker 1: total compliance with the War Powers Resolution, absolute total compliance.
- 10:38Speaker 1: There is nothing illegal about this. There's nothing unconstitutional about this.
- 10:42Speaker 1: They can yell and scream. Hey, by the way, the
- 10:44Speaker 1: fake news, you know, whenever the president and whenever they
- 10:47Speaker 1: play a clip of the president, they start fact checking
- 10:49Speaker 1: them like crazy. But how often are the fake news
- 10:52Speaker 1: do you see some Democrat yell it's illegal war, unconstitutional war,
- 10:57Speaker 1: and they don't fact check. They never come on and say, actually,
- 11:01Speaker 1: there's no violation of the War Powers Resolution because here
- 11:04Speaker 1: it is right here. It was done in nineteen seventy three.
- 11:08Speaker 1: By the way, we don't declare war when we go
- 11:10Speaker 1: to war with Congress, we don't deal. The last time
- 11:12Speaker 1: that was done was World War II. There've been about
- 11:16Speaker 1: seventy five wars since then, nobody's ever declared war. But
- 11:19Speaker 1: just because after Vietnam they wanted to do this, they
- 11:22Speaker 1: passed the War Powers Resolution Act limiting the president's power.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Here it is, the President is in total compliance with it.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Under the War Powers Resolution, the president can deploy forces.
- 11:36Speaker 1: He has authorization to do it in the first sixty days.
- 11:40Speaker 1: He's got sixty days that he can do this. We're
- 11:43Speaker 1: only in day seven. He's got fifty three more days
- 11:47Speaker 1: to go. Now, what happens when you get to day
- 11:49Speaker 1: sixty under the resolution, he has thirty days to withdraw,
- 11:54Speaker 1: so it's really ninety days, So he actually has eighty
- 11:58Speaker 1: three more days to go before he has to go
- 12:01Speaker 1: to Congress. Now he should notify Congress, which he did.
- 12:05Speaker 1: He obviously did notify them. He has briefed Congress on
- 12:09Speaker 1: all of this, so he's absolutely in compliance War Powers Act,
- 12:14Speaker 1: no problem at all. President's schedule goes to Miami later tonight.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But there's a big meeting today in the White House
- 12:22Speaker 1: about college sports. A lot of big sports. Nick Saban,
- 12:26Speaker 1: Tiger Woods, I think Randy Levine is going to that big,
- 12:30Speaker 1: big White House meeting. They're going to discuss fixing college sports.
- 12:34Speaker 1: It's an absolute mess. Money got in there and just
- 12:37Speaker 1: screwed up everything. He got players, he got college players
- 12:42Speaker 1: making more than NFL players now and they're changing schools
- 12:45Speaker 1: to get better deals, better money. So something's got to
- 12:49Speaker 1: be done to clean it up. Now, this will be
- 12:50Speaker 1: open to the press. It's going to be a round table.
- 12:53Speaker 1: They're allowing the press in to watch this. It'll probably
- 12:57Speaker 1: be televised later today. It'll be pretty interesting if you
- 13:00Speaker 1: if you want to see what's going on the big
- 13:02Speaker 1: mess of college sports. Hey, Kamala Harris getting a lot
- 13:06Speaker 1: of flak from Democrats. You know, Jasmine Crockett lost her
- 13:09Speaker 1: primary race and it was Kamala that went down and
- 13:12Speaker 1: endorsed her. It was Kamala couldn't I couldn't have done more,
- 13:16Speaker 1: endorsing her everything she could do, and it didn't help
- 13:18Speaker 1: one bit. So besides the fact she's a babbling yo yo,
- 13:22Speaker 1: they're now starting to realize she's got no coattails. She
- 13:25Speaker 1: can't move the needle for anybody. So that destroys her
- 13:31Speaker 1: chances of being the nominee even more, not that she
- 13:34Speaker 1: had much chance to begin with. Let's see, Oh, the
- 13:38Speaker 1: Jesse Jackson funeral today, Yeah, that's gonna be interesting. The
- 13:42Speaker 1: funeral today would be a big thing. Three presidents will
- 13:44Speaker 1: be there, all the living presidents. President Trump will be there,
- 13:48Speaker 1: but Bush, Clinton, Obama will all be there. I think
- 13:52Speaker 1: Kamala Harris will be there. Probably get a couple other
- 13:56Speaker 1: vice presidents. Joe Biden, I don't think he knows about it.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Else you've got Al Gore. I no, no, Well he'll
- 14:02Speaker 1: probably show up too. A we'll take some calls. In
- 14:05Speaker 1: a minute. Eight hundred three to two one zero seven
- 14:08Speaker 1: ten is the number. We'll get to the jobs numbers
- 14:10Speaker 1: coming up, But we'll take some calls next eight hundred
- 14:13Speaker 1: three two one zero seven tenop. Wait a minute, wait
- 14:18Speaker 1: a minute, Uh, nope, here it is here. It isn't
- 14:22Speaker 1: the wrong way. I know what I want to tell
- 14:23Speaker 1: you about. We're having our big networking event. You might
- 14:26Speaker 1: want to come to. This is gonna be pretty good.
- 14:28Speaker 1: A lot of CEOs, business leaders, good chance to network,
- 14:32Speaker 1: meet a lot of people. It's going to be March nineteenth.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It'll be six to eight pm March nineteenth. There's this
- 14:39Speaker 1: beautiful new office building two Park Avenue. It's at thirty
- 14:42Speaker 1: fourth in Park and they've got this venue on the
- 14:45Speaker 1: rooftop that has amazing views of New York. It's got
- 14:49Speaker 1: beautiful outdoor terrace. But if you're looking for a corporate
- 14:52Speaker 1: event place, great venue to Park Avenue. But that's where
- 14:55Speaker 1: we're going to do it. And I'll be there, Larry
- 14:57Speaker 1: MINTI will be there. Kirk Curtis Leiwa who he starts
- 15:00Speaker 1: this Monday here at WR. He'll be co hosting the
- 15:03Speaker 1: morning show. He'll be there. So it's a good chance
- 15:05Speaker 1: to meet everybody, meet a lot of business leaders, executives, CEOs,
- 15:09Speaker 1: network and meet people. So if you want to come,
- 15:12Speaker 1: it's March nineteenth, six to eight pm, but limited space.
- 15:16Speaker 1: You got an RSVP and to do that, you go
- 15:19Speaker 1: to seven ten wor dot com slash live and you
- 15:24Speaker 1: can reserve a spot seven ten WR dot com slash
- 15:30Speaker 1: Live
