Huntsville Animal Services is in crisis after taking in 24 animals — 20 dogs and 4 cats — from one overwhelmed home, instantly maxing out their capacity. With an ongoing investigation, the shelter’s priority remains the safety and healing of every pet, as director John Fischer vows they’re ready to give each one a chance at stability.
