Transcript
- 0:23Speaker 1: Today, I'm thrilled to introduce a very special guest. someone
- 0:27Speaker 1: whose remarkable story has been a topic of much fascination.
- 0:32Speaker 1: You might have already heard about Roy Stubblefield, especially if
- 0:36Speaker 1: you are into the mysterious.
- 0:38Speaker 2: And the unexplained.
- 0:40Speaker 1: His encounter with what he describes as a werewolf in
- 0:44Speaker 1: New Orleans was featured in the Travel Channel's These Woods
- 0:49Speaker 1: Are Haunted show, episode 3 of season 3. But, As
- 0:55Speaker 1: it often happens with tales so bizarre and so intriguing,
- 1:00Speaker 1: the true essence of his experience wasn't truthfully captured. So today,
- 1:06Speaker 1: Rory joins us to set that record straight.
- 1:11Speaker 2: This is a rare opportunity to hear the.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Untold details of a night that defies all explanation. A
- 1:19Speaker 1: night where the line between the unknown and the known
- 1:24Speaker 1: was blurred. So brace yourselves for part one of this
- 1:29Speaker 1: compelling two-part series. And we are going to dive in
- 1:34Speaker 1: Roy's firsthand accounts of this extraordinary encounter that happened in
- 1:40Speaker 1: July of 1981. Thank you again for coming on this podcast.
- 1:44Speaker 1: I really appreciate that. So you are Roy Doublefield. And
- 1:51Speaker 1: your experience was on the Travel Channel. Season 3, Episode 3.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I know that was a very popular episode. Do you
- 2:04Speaker 1: feel that they accurately portrayed your experience?
- 2:10Speaker 3: No, I do not. I do not. And I have
- 2:13Speaker 3: had a conversation with the producer about that because we
- 2:19Speaker 3: did a four-hour journey. Okay. And they recorded everything. And
- 2:26Speaker 3: they were asking questions. And what they did was they
- 2:30Speaker 3: took some of my audio and inserted words that I
- 2:34Speaker 3: said in places where I didn't say them. I've been
- 2:39Speaker 3: on five or six podcasts. I've never, ever said that
- 2:47Speaker 3: the guy shot the creature. I never said that. Of course,
- 2:54Speaker 3: if you listen to the audio, it says the guy
- 2:57Speaker 3: shot it and that's what made it run off. That
- 3:00Speaker 3: is not true. It's not true. And I actually sent
- 3:03Speaker 3: you a link, I believe, to when I was on
- 3:05Speaker 3: a dog radio and you hear him say, somebody even said,
- 3:10Speaker 3: don't shoot you. So, I was not happy with that. Also,
- 3:19Speaker 3: in service areas, I was supposed to have on the
- 3:25Speaker 3: design of the creature. That never happened, but if you notice,
- 3:30Speaker 3: they tested so much in shadows, you pretty much just
- 3:33Speaker 3: got a profile, not the depiction of the creature that
- 3:38Speaker 3: I'm describing to you. And I was like, okay. I said, okay, well,
- 3:43Speaker 3: you know, you guys reached out to me. Do what
- 3:47Speaker 3: you do, but I didn't ask them. Why did you
- 3:51Speaker 3: have to change anything that I told Well, we thought
- 3:56Speaker 3: it would make it more exciting for telling you. It
- 3:59Speaker 3: would be more. I said, so you mean to tell
- 4:01Speaker 3: me after everything that I shared with you? You thought
- 4:05Speaker 3: that it would be more scary. Ain't what I told you.
- 4:08Speaker 3: If you had it just stuck to what I said.
- 4:12Speaker 3: That should have terrified anybody. You know, this is. And
- 4:21Speaker 3: I didn't even let it finish. I said, you know what?
- 4:23Speaker 3: Never mind. Quarter just out there. But understand, anybody that
- 4:27Speaker 3: reaches out to me or if I do a podcast,
- 4:29Speaker 3: I will be letting them know, watch that episode, that
- 4:33Speaker 3: you did not depict my encounters through reckoning. Okay, well,
- 4:37Speaker 3: you can do what you want to. I said, God
- 4:39Speaker 3: says I can't say you're right. I can't, as long
- 4:41Speaker 3: as I don't break any laws. And I'm going to
- 4:47Speaker 3: say this real quick, and then I'll jump into it.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Since I've been on TV, And I did a little
- 4:53Speaker 3: checking because people got so much response. I mean, that
- 4:57Speaker 3: was an incredible encounter. Did that really happen to you
- 5:00Speaker 3: in your life? First of all, I'm not looking for
- 5:08Speaker 3: fame or notoriety. I am telling people about this, one,
- 5:13Speaker 3: because I need you to get it off my chest.
- 5:15Speaker 3: This is something that's been branded in my brain. No
- 5:19Speaker 3: matter how old I get, I'm going to always remember it.
- 5:23Speaker 3: But the second reason I did it is because I
- 5:26Speaker 3: want people to know you don't have to be in
- 5:29Speaker 3: the woods to see these. You can be right in
- 5:33Speaker 3: the neighborhood. I was in the neighborhood. Third, I was
- 5:36Speaker 3: hoping one of the guys I was with would actually
- 5:40Speaker 3: hear that and reach out to me. That's why I
- 5:42Speaker 3: always say my name and where I was at in
- 5:45Speaker 3: that way. They could contact me and I'd sit by
- 5:48Speaker 3: about what happened the next day. How did the rest
- 5:51Speaker 3: of you guys' lives go? What happened? Unfortunately, that hasn't
- 5:57Speaker 3: happened yet. I still got hope. People just need to
- 6:02Speaker 3: be aware that this planet that we have, there are
- 6:07Speaker 3: things here that fall outside the norm of what you
- 6:12Speaker 3: consider unnatural. I don't know what they are. A lot
- 6:17Speaker 3: of people say they don't believe in a werewolf, but
- 6:20Speaker 3: they'll say, well, I believe in a skinwalker. In my opinion,
- 6:25Speaker 3: they're almost one in the same because the physical change
- 6:28Speaker 3: is supposed to take place. When a shaman uses whatever
- 6:35Speaker 3: pelt or feathers to change to our motive, he has
- 6:38Speaker 3: to change back. And another thing I found is Wives' tales,
- 6:46Speaker 3: fairy tales, fairy stories. All of them have a shred
- 6:54Speaker 3: of truth. A shred. That's how they got started. I
- 6:58Speaker 3: just can't see how somebody will be sitting in their
- 7:01Speaker 3: hut or at home one night and be like, I
- 7:05Speaker 3: think I'm going to tell my kids that word a
- 7:07Speaker 3: little bit. That way that's going to scare them. I'm like,
- 7:10Speaker 3: sit down and talk about a person changing from a
- 7:13Speaker 3: human being into one of these things and back in
- 7:15Speaker 3: that they'll tear you limb to limb so but everybody
- 7:20Speaker 3: has their own opinion of course but I just know
- 7:22Speaker 3: what I see and I know what I felt I
- 7:25Speaker 3: never said that I saw her change but I'm sure
- 7:31Speaker 3: you've been some places where you've seen another person where
- 7:33Speaker 3: you were driving just trying to look to the left
- 7:35Speaker 3: of the driving you just got feeling like something's off
- 7:38Speaker 3: about that person Having said all of that, now I'll
- 7:48Speaker 3: go ahead and get into my account. I was living
- 7:53Speaker 3: in Omaha, Nebraska at the time, before I went to Louisiana.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And I was staying with my cousin and my aunt.
- 8:04Speaker 3: My aunt, she was younger, so she really didn't want
- 8:07Speaker 3: to be called aunt. She told me to call her
- 8:09Speaker 3: by her first name. But that's what I did. And
- 8:17Speaker 3: I guess it had been... I know I stayed with
- 8:23Speaker 3: her for at least a couple of years. I had
- 8:25Speaker 3: graduated that. And he came home one day and said,
- 8:32Speaker 3: we need to have a family meeting. And usually when
- 8:36Speaker 3: she says this, that means somebody didn't do something. And
- 8:40Speaker 3: now we about to hear about it. So I'm looking
- 8:43Speaker 3: at my cousin and I had another cousin. So I'm
- 8:50Speaker 3: looking at them like, okay, what did y'all do? And
- 8:54Speaker 3: they look at me, what did you do? I'm like, okay,
- 8:56Speaker 3: you cut the grass, the leaves got raked up, the
- 8:58Speaker 3: grass got raked up. Yeah, the dishes done, yeah. Okay,
- 9:02Speaker 3: did you clean the basement? Yeah, I'm going through the list.
- 9:05Speaker 3: And they like, man, I don't know what you want
- 9:07Speaker 3: to talk about, we did. Tom's out of her room,
- 9:11Speaker 3: down at her table, and she said, in two weeks,
- 9:16Speaker 3: I'm going to be moving to Newark, and I'm going
- 9:20Speaker 3: to leave the house to you guys. I need to
- 9:22Speaker 3: make sure that I can pay the rent, utilities, and
- 9:28Speaker 3: keep the property up. Now, I'm talking to three teenage boys.
- 9:35Speaker 3: My other cousins were younger than me. By two and
- 9:40Speaker 3: three years. So one cousin, he's kicking me up under
- 9:44Speaker 3: the table. He's kicking my foot. And when he hear this, like,
- 9:47Speaker 3: and I know where he's going with it. I'm thinking
- 9:50Speaker 3: the same thing. Wait a minute. You move into another
- 9:53Speaker 3: state and you're going to leave us in this house
- 9:56Speaker 3: It's about to be on this summer. It's about to
- 9:59Speaker 3: be on. Can't nobody tell us nothing. It's about to
- 10:03Speaker 3: be on. It took me a few years after this
- 10:09Speaker 3: to actually think about it, but for her to do,
- 10:15Speaker 3: and you're leaving your 16-year-old son here by himself, That
- 10:18Speaker 3: doesn't make you a very good mother.
- 10:21Speaker 1: That's illegal today.
- 10:22Speaker 3: Right. You leave it to your son, dear. I supervise.
- 10:27Speaker 3: But there's a story behind that, and I'll talk to
- 10:30Speaker 3: you about that off here. So we're like, okay, well,
- 10:39Speaker 3: you know, that's all we say. We start a cell.
- 10:41Speaker 3: She's like, okay. So she got up and went in
- 10:43Speaker 3: the kitchen. She called me in the kitchen. I'm like,
- 10:48Speaker 3: Some more good news. I'm thinking some more good news.
- 10:51Speaker 3: So she's like, well, I'm going to need you to
- 10:53Speaker 3: help me drive down to New Orleans. And the following Friday,
- 10:58Speaker 3: I'm going to put you back on a continental trailway
- 11:02Speaker 3: and send you back to Omaha. I'm like, okay, I
- 11:04Speaker 3: can do that. I can do that. And also at
- 11:07Speaker 3: that time, I was going through this breakup with my
- 11:12Speaker 3: first serious relationship. So getting out of town for a
- 11:16Speaker 3: few days, felt would be good, you know, I'd clear
- 11:20Speaker 3: my head and get in the seat, back on me
- 11:25Speaker 3: if you will, because it did kind of knock my
- 11:26Speaker 3: feet off. So, we got to U-Haul, packed up, and
- 11:36Speaker 3: we left that Saturday. It took us about 35 hours
- 11:41Speaker 3: to get to Omaha, Florida. Wow, that was a long
- 11:46Speaker 3: drive though, wasn't it? She had already got her apartment.
- 11:50Speaker 3: We just took the beds out, pick them upstairs so
- 11:53Speaker 3: we have something we just crashed off. And the next
- 11:57Speaker 3: day we got a little bit more. There's one thing
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'm going to always appreciate about overestimating a person because
- 12:07Speaker 3: she was only 5'2. Yet, she was helping me move
- 12:12Speaker 3: dressers to the second story. Hairy stuff. And I'm looking
- 12:17Speaker 3: at her like, you okay? She's like, yeah, I got this.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And I'm just looking at her like, I don't know,
- 12:21Speaker 3: everyone in the fire regime could, you know, she had
- 12:24Speaker 3: Dunkin' Five stuff and that's really heck. So we got
- 12:28Speaker 3: all that going on. And she said, I'm going to
- 12:33Speaker 3: take you around to some places so you can get
- 12:35Speaker 3: the best city. I'm like, oh, okay. I appreciate it. Well,
- 12:39Speaker 3: the first place she took me was the Popeye's. They
- 12:43Speaker 3: didn't have Popeye's chicken in the rack. When I had
- 12:46Speaker 3: some of that chicken, I was like, oh, my God,
- 12:50Speaker 3: I literally want to kiss the cook. I mean, it
- 12:56Speaker 3: was something different for me. And Southern cooking is very good.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I mean, it is. So we did that, and she
- 13:07Speaker 3: took me to a couple of other places. And then
- 13:11Speaker 3: we went down to the friend course. It was on
- 13:15Speaker 3: the 3rd. And I'm walking around looking. These people is
- 13:20Speaker 3: having a good time. Ain't nobody fighting, cussing. They got
- 13:24Speaker 3: alcohol in their hands. I'm looking like, what do you mean?
- 13:28Speaker 3: They walked down the street drinking alcohol in Nebraska. That's
- 13:31Speaker 3: the fastest way to go to the bill. But there
- 13:33Speaker 3: were even Felicia down there. They was, you know, just walking,
- 13:36Speaker 3: doing their patrolling. There were street vendors on the corner
- 13:39Speaker 3: and they were selling these 32-mile streets. The 13, Tropical Storm,
- 13:43Speaker 3: and the Fight Club. I'm like, Let me get one
- 13:46Speaker 3: of them a seat. Took two sips, and I looked
- 13:49Speaker 3: at Pat. I said, I want to go back to
- 13:52Speaker 3: your block. Can I stay? And she was like, wait
- 13:54Speaker 3: a minute. You're supposed to be going back home Friday.
- 13:57Speaker 3: I'm like, well, why can't I stay? She's like, well,
- 14:01Speaker 3: weren't you planning on going to school this fall? I'm like,
- 14:03Speaker 3: I can go to school here. She said, well, you know,
- 14:07Speaker 3: if I had to get a job, I'm like, of course,
- 14:10Speaker 3: I could. Well, I can do both. Can I stay?
- 14:13Speaker 3: I just need you to give me enough time to
- 14:15Speaker 3: give me a little money for that, and I'll even
- 14:17Speaker 3: give my own place. He was like, okay, that's what
- 14:20Speaker 3: you want to do. And I was like, okay. I
- 14:23Speaker 3: didn't call my cousin until a week later telling him, man,
- 14:25Speaker 3: I'm going to just put my stuff in some boxes,
- 14:28Speaker 3: and I'll be up there to get it when I can.
- 14:35Speaker 3: It took me, I think it was eight days, seven
- 14:40Speaker 3: or eight days to get it done. I'm not sure
- 14:43Speaker 3: if you ever heard of it, but there used to
- 14:46Speaker 3: be a clothing store called Chesapeake. If you wanted the
- 14:52Speaker 3: type of stuff they sold, if you wanted to look
- 14:55Speaker 3: like your famous musician, whether it be Michael Jackson, the
- 15:00Speaker 3: Flock of Seagull, Duran Duran, you went to this kid.
- 15:07Speaker 3: He came out with the Thriller video, Michael Jackson with
- 15:12Speaker 3: the the black and red jacket. Yeah, we had an
- 15:15Speaker 3: abundance of them. You could, you know, put your wardrobe together,
- 15:19Speaker 3: like I said, if you wanted to block a rock
- 15:21Speaker 3: star on the order. And it was on Canal Street,
- 15:26Speaker 3: which is a main street downtown. It was a decent
- 15:32Speaker 3: sized job. We had mostly men's clothes, but we had
- 15:36Speaker 3: small sets for women. I was in there working my
- 15:42Speaker 3: manager actually worked with. I don't know if it was
- 15:45Speaker 3: by design or if that just wasn't the hours that
- 15:52Speaker 3: she has available. When I worked any day, Tom would
- 15:54Speaker 3: see it. So one day I was rotating some stock.
- 15:59Speaker 3: We got a new order in. And I was rotating
- 16:03Speaker 3: some of the old stuff back to put it back
- 16:06Speaker 3: in the storage. No the store that have that little
- 16:13Speaker 3: bell above the door for when you come in. But
- 16:16Speaker 3: we have one at the end because I might be
- 16:18Speaker 3: in the back or something. I hear that tingle, tingle,
- 16:20Speaker 3: and I go up there and look at ours. The
- 16:23Speaker 3: bell went off and I'm down on my knees hanging out.
- 16:27Speaker 3: He's pulling up these shirts and I was hanging up
- 16:29Speaker 3: the new one and I turned around and looked. And
- 16:32Speaker 3: oh my God. This warming girl, whatever term she expects,
- 16:42Speaker 3: was walking in the store. When I looked at her,
- 16:48Speaker 3: I was like, you got everything that Uncle John did.
- 16:53Speaker 3: The biscuits, the bacon, and the gravy, everything. But I'm
- 16:59Speaker 3: at work, so I can't, you know, say anything to
- 17:03Speaker 3: her as if I was meant to be on the street.
- 17:05Speaker 3: So I looked at her, and I, you know, got
- 17:07Speaker 3: up and I walked over, you know, said, welcome to Chesky.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Is there anything I can help you with? They were,
- 17:13Speaker 3: I just want to look around for a minute. If
- 17:15Speaker 3: I find something, if I meet somebody, I'll let you know.
- 17:17Speaker 3: I said, okay. I take your time, and I went
- 17:20Speaker 3: back to doing what I was doing. But I was standing,
- 17:24Speaker 3: looking over there. I'm like, I started thinking, what can
- 17:29Speaker 3: I say? What can I say? You know, my boss
- 17:32Speaker 3: is there. So if I am going to say something,
- 17:37Speaker 3: I gotta make sure that I don't straddle that sexual
- 17:40Speaker 3: harassment law even though it wasn't really that big that
- 17:44Speaker 3: it is now but I'm at work I'm not trying
- 17:46Speaker 3: to leave the job so I'm thinking and I'm thinking
- 17:51Speaker 3: and I'm thinking and I'm like you know what stop
- 17:55Speaker 3: thinking a pickup line and just introduce yourself just for
- 17:59Speaker 3: a change just introduce yourself and just talk to it
- 18:05Speaker 3: so I was swapping out some shirts, and I was
- 18:08Speaker 3: actually working in the women's section, and I looked over
- 18:11Speaker 3: at her. She kind of gave me that look like,
- 18:13Speaker 3: you know, can you help me? So I walked over
- 18:15Speaker 3: to you, and she asked me, I like these shirts.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Do you have these in any other color? I said, yeah,
- 18:21Speaker 3: these just came in. I got three different colors in
- 18:24Speaker 3: the back. What size do you wear? You look like
- 18:26Speaker 3: you bought a medium. You know, she kind of smiled.
- 18:31Speaker 3: She's like, yeah, you can bring a small few. So
- 18:35Speaker 3: I went in the back, and I got the 13.
- 18:37Speaker 3: But I had a red, purple, and orange one. And
- 18:44Speaker 3: I had them on my arm and felt a lot
- 18:46Speaker 3: of it. I liked the orange one. That's the biggest sign,
- 18:50Speaker 3: of course, that I know she chose to eat dirt.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Since she got an orange one, I had to fly.
- 18:55Speaker 3: And then she would look at us and slap us.
- 18:59Speaker 3: And I just said, I said, hey, what's your name?
- 19:04Speaker 3: And she told me, and I don't have my journal
- 19:05Speaker 3: in front of me, I can't say her name, and
- 19:08Speaker 3: I think even if I did, I don't want to
- 19:10Speaker 3: say her name. I've never done that since, because then,
- 19:18Speaker 3: if I'm right, then I don't want her to be like, oh,
- 19:22Speaker 3: now I know who you are. Let me come and
- 19:25Speaker 3: finish what I started, so. She gave me her name,
- 19:30Speaker 3: and I said, well, I'm doing, I need somebody to
- 19:33Speaker 3: show me around, can I take you out on that?
- 19:39Speaker 3: And she didn't say anything for a few seconds. She
- 19:41Speaker 3: kind of looked me up and down. Then she looked
- 19:44Speaker 3: me right in her eyes, and I was looking at
- 19:46Speaker 3: her eyes, and I'd never seen eyes like that. They
- 19:50Speaker 3: were like greenish gold. But in a few minutes I
- 19:58Speaker 3: seen something else that I'd never seen before that I'd seen. Who?
- 20:05Speaker 3: We was walking up to the towns. Now During this time,
- 20:08Speaker 3: when she first came in, my boss was actually delting
- 20:11Speaker 3: another cup. And they had finished us. So she's standing
- 20:15Speaker 3: at the end of the counter, and she's watching. And
- 20:19Speaker 3: every now and again, I would look over at her
- 20:20Speaker 3: to see if she was going to give me a disapproval.
- 20:22Speaker 3: It looked like, you know, this is not what you're
- 20:25Speaker 3: here for. But she didn't say nothing. She looked at me.
- 20:27Speaker 3: She kind of had a little grin on her. So
- 20:30Speaker 3: we got up to the counter. I said, okay, so
- 20:34Speaker 3: let me get that telephone number. Now, the whole time
- 20:37Speaker 3: I was talking to her before this, she always was
- 20:40Speaker 3: looking me in my eye. As soon as I said that,
- 20:43Speaker 3: she broke eye contact. She kind of looked down and
- 20:47Speaker 3: to the left. I had looked at her hand and
- 20:51Speaker 3: everything because I'm looking for a ring. I ain't trying
- 20:54Speaker 3: to encroach on nobody. I didn't see a ring. I
- 20:58Speaker 3: didn't even see where she might have been wearing it
- 21:00Speaker 3: and took it off that little hand line. I figured, okay.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I'm like, what case you got a board? She's like, well,
- 21:10Speaker 3: I can't give you my phone number. I kind of
- 21:13Speaker 3: caught my head and looked at her. Like, what? So
- 21:20Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, well, what's your address? This time she
- 21:25Speaker 3: looked to the right and she's looking down. She's like,
- 21:27Speaker 3: I can't give you my address. That's when I'm like, oh, man, really?
- 21:32Speaker 3: So I'm like, okay, so you must got a board there.
- 21:36Speaker 3: or a husband or a lady and a girlfriend. I
- 21:40Speaker 3: don't know. And she slapped her head back up like
- 21:44Speaker 3: she actually read my thoughts. She's like, no, I'm not married.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I don't have no boyfriend. My mom won't let no
- 21:50Speaker 3: men or boys come by the house. Now, that wasn't
- 21:56Speaker 3: unheard of back then, but I wasn't expecting that from her.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I said, okay, well, if you're going to go on
- 22:06Speaker 3: a date, I'm supposed to meet you. He's told me
- 22:11Speaker 3: there's a park about two blocks from my house. Show
- 22:15Speaker 3: up there at seven o'clock and we'll leave from there.
- 22:19Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, that a word. That a word.
- 22:26Speaker 3: You know, maybe you're doing this for your own sake
- 22:29Speaker 3: and that you get to know then, you know, you
- 22:32Speaker 3: trust me enough in my house or Tell your mom
- 22:35Speaker 3: about them. You know how I respond. I'm like, okay. So,
- 22:40Speaker 3: they completed their transaction. And I walked her to the door.
- 22:43Speaker 3: I was holding the door for her. Now, of course,
- 22:46Speaker 3: I am a man. I was a young man. And so,
- 22:49Speaker 3: I'm not going to lie. The whole time she was walking,
- 22:53Speaker 3: I don't think my eyes went above her way. I
- 22:56Speaker 3: just want to say, because I think they did. And
- 22:59Speaker 3: I'm not being mannishy. I'm just being honest. But when
- 23:03Speaker 3: she got to the door, I held it open for her.
- 23:06Speaker 3: that time of day, the angle of the sun was
- 23:09Speaker 3: actually coming into the front windows of the store. So,
- 23:14Speaker 3: when she turned to look at me, I was looking,
- 23:16Speaker 3: you know, in her face for just a hot second.
- 23:23Speaker 3: There was a gold ring around her pupil. But you
- 23:28Speaker 3: could only see it with the light in her eyes.
- 23:32Speaker 3: You know, I was I actually kind of, you know,
- 23:35Speaker 3: I didn't back up, but I kind of lean back
- 23:37Speaker 3: a little bit. Colorful language. I've never seen eyes before
- 23:43Speaker 3: in my life. You have some gorgeous eyes. No, really.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I've never seen eyes like that. You are. It just.
- 23:57Speaker 3: It makes me wonder about certain things, but like I said,
- 24:01Speaker 3: I've never seen eyes like that before or since. I
- 24:06Speaker 3: guess in some ways that should have tipped me off
- 24:09Speaker 3: to something, but I'm young and I don't know nothing
- 24:13Speaker 3: about monster youth other than books and Hollywood and stuff
- 24:16Speaker 3: like that. I'm thinking about.
- 24:18Speaker 4: What she could possibly be or none of that stuff.
- 24:23Speaker 3: I'm thinking about I got a date with a very
- 24:25Speaker 3: good looking woman and we were supposed to go out
- 24:30Speaker 3: that Friday and this was on a Wednesday when I
- 24:33Speaker 3: was there. It was July 7th. 5-7. So I turned
- 24:45Speaker 3: around to go back to the counter and my boss
- 24:47Speaker 3: was standing there looking at me. She's like, you're pretty smooth.
- 24:50Speaker 3: You know that? And I'm like, what do you mean?
- 24:52Speaker 3: She said, I like the way you handled that. I'm like,
- 24:58Speaker 3: I didn't do anything. She said, most guys would have
- 25:03Speaker 3: said something, you know, get out of here. Why are
- 25:05Speaker 3: you playing? Give me your number or your address, man.
- 25:08Speaker 3: You know, why are you playing? She said, you just
- 25:11Speaker 3: went out risking the beach. I'm just going right on.
- 25:13Speaker 3: I'm like, well, if you're good, you're telling the truth.
- 25:16Speaker 3: I'm saying, yes, you could be. They're like, I like
- 25:19Speaker 3: the way you did that. I'm like, but I'm out
- 25:21Speaker 3: of trouble, right? Like, no, you're not in trouble. Act yourself,
- 25:24Speaker 3: you know. So, we were talking and it took me
- 25:31Speaker 3: about five minutes. See, I'm like, oh my God, Rory,
- 25:35Speaker 3: you dumbass. So the boss said, what? I'm like, I
- 25:39Speaker 3: forgot to ask her where the park was at. And
- 25:42Speaker 3: my boss said, oh, I know where it's at. I'll
- 25:44Speaker 3: draw you a map. I'm like, you know where it's at?
- 25:46Speaker 3: She said, yeah, it's up in Metairie. And I'm like,
- 25:49Speaker 3: where is it? She said, I'm going to draw you
- 25:52Speaker 3: a map. So she drove me a turn-by-turn map and said,
- 25:57Speaker 3: if you get up in the Metairie, if you drive
- 26:00Speaker 3: past the Winn-Dixie, We said, girl, she's still on the
- 26:03Speaker 3: right-hand side. Before everybody turned around and came back, I'm like,
- 26:06Speaker 3: I'm not going to. So I'm kind of excited. Thursday
- 26:11Speaker 3: just seemed like it drugged and drugged and drugged. Then
- 26:13Speaker 3: Friday come in, my boss said, you know what, Roy?
- 26:17Speaker 3: I said, no, I don't know, but I'm not pretty sure.
- 26:21Speaker 3: And he go, tell me, he said, you were actually
- 26:23Speaker 3: supposed to close today. We closed at 9 o'clock, and
- 26:27Speaker 3: I was like, oh, man, I said. I wasn't even
- 26:31Speaker 3: thinking about that. She said, I'm going to do you
- 26:33Speaker 3: a favor. I'm going to stay in your clothes. But
- 26:36Speaker 3: you owe me. I said, as long as I owe you,
- 26:38Speaker 3: you'll never be broke. So, we did. So, he closed
- 26:45Speaker 3: that night, but I actually purchased my outfit that I
- 26:49Speaker 3: was going to wear on the day from the store.
- 26:51Speaker 3: I did that. So, I think I left a little
- 27:00Speaker 3: bit after six. I started driving to the park. You know,
- 27:09Speaker 3: running some different scenarios through my head. My do's and don'ts.
- 27:16Speaker 3: But I got to the park. 655, 656. That is
- 27:18Speaker 3: about 20, 22, 23 miles away. I get to the
- 27:20Speaker 3: park and it's not a big park. If you get
- 27:31Speaker 3: a hundred people in there, I'll be rubbing the elbow.
- 27:35Speaker 3: But there were some boys and girls, men and women
- 27:40Speaker 3: in the park. I remember they had the kids on
- 27:43Speaker 3: the playground equipment, but there was a basketball court and
- 27:51Speaker 3: they had the three-tier bleachers on one side of it. Now,
- 27:56Speaker 3: in Louisiana, it rains a lot. and you very seldom
- 28:01Speaker 3: get sprinkles. It's like somebody just overturned a five-gallon bucket
- 28:06Speaker 3: and it comes pouring down like that because it can
- 28:09Speaker 3: flood within 15 minutes on any street there because the
- 28:13Speaker 3: soil is like clay, so it takes time for that
- 28:18Speaker 3: water to run off or take opportunity to drain and
- 28:20Speaker 3: stitch it around. But a lot of the outdoor basketball courts,
- 28:25Speaker 3: they have these tin roof ovals. over the whole course.
- 28:28Speaker 3: So if it's raining, you can still play unless the
- 28:31Speaker 3: wind start blowing the fire away. It becomes harder because
- 28:34Speaker 3: there's water on the court. So we had one of them,
- 28:37Speaker 3: you know, with some guys playing and people sitting on
- 28:39Speaker 3: the bridge. So I got out and I walked up
- 28:43Speaker 3: and I sat down on the edge of the beach.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I have on some shorts, a button-up shirt, and some sandals.
- 28:54Speaker 3: And while I'm sitting there, I started cursing inside because
- 28:58Speaker 3: I put on cologne. The mosquitoes in Louisiana, that's where
- 29:06Speaker 3: some of them were big, like miniature helicopters. I was
- 29:10Speaker 3: in front of my big mosquitoes. And too many get
- 29:12Speaker 3: on you, I'm pretty sure they can take a pint
- 29:14Speaker 3: or two out, and I'm not kidding. Mosquitoes are bad here. And,
- 29:17Speaker 3: of course, I got cologne on, so I'm slapping and popping.
- 29:22Speaker 3: Got a little towel, and I'm swapping and stuff, and
- 29:24Speaker 3: I'm like, oh. we need to hurry up so said
- 29:27Speaker 3: my wife a little bit after seven well it was
- 29:32Speaker 3: a group of six guys that was sitting not too
- 29:34Speaker 3: far away and they had been talking but they looked
- 29:36Speaker 3: at me when i walked up but they didn't say
- 29:37Speaker 3: nothing one of the guys got up and he walked
- 29:40Speaker 3: over to me, and he said, Hey, man, you want
- 29:47Speaker 3: to play basketball with us next? I looked at him,
- 29:51Speaker 3: and then I kind of looked down at what I
- 29:53Speaker 3: was wearing, and then I looked up at him like, Dude,
- 29:57Speaker 3: I'm not dressed to play basketball. I said, no, you know,
- 30:03Speaker 3: I'm waiting on somebody. And he said, oh yeah, who's that?
- 30:12Speaker 3: Maybe it's a time frame or maybe just where I'm from.
- 30:15Speaker 3: If a total stranger walk up to you and ask,
- 30:18Speaker 3: you know, about your business, it's basically none of your business. So,
- 30:24Speaker 3: but I wasn't going to be rude by that. I
- 30:26Speaker 3: just was like, well, When she get here and you
- 30:28Speaker 3: see her, if you know her, then you know who
- 30:30Speaker 3: I'm waiting on. He said, oh, okay. He said, by
- 30:33Speaker 3: the way, man, my name is Han. I said, what's up, Herman?
- 30:37Speaker 3: My name is Stubb. We dapped up, and he sat
- 30:44Speaker 3: down and started talking to you.
- 30:46Speaker 4: Okay.
- 30:47Speaker 3: We just, you know, where you from? He said, Nebraska.
- 30:52Speaker 3: He said, I know you got an accent. And he
- 30:55Speaker 3: busted out laughing when he said it. I'm like, I'm
- 30:58Speaker 3: from Nebraska. You from Louisiana. You got to nerd kill
- 31:03Speaker 3: somebody that they got accent, but I didn't realize that
- 31:06Speaker 3: I do have accent. To me, I just am tone
- 31:12Speaker 3: deaf too without deaf, but we just talking, so become
- 31:16Speaker 3: one of the other guys. Hey, man, you going to
- 31:20Speaker 3: play basketball with us or what? I'm not here to
- 31:23Speaker 3: play basketball. Can't you tell by what I got on?
- 31:26Speaker 3: He's like, oh, what you here for? I'm like, I'm
- 31:29Speaker 3: waiting on somebody. Who's that? Again, once you get here,
- 31:34Speaker 3: you see here, you'll know who I'm waiting. I tell
- 31:38Speaker 3: you visually, all the guys stand over now. They was
- 31:42Speaker 3: giving me names, but I'm pretty sure these wasn't names
- 31:45Speaker 3: I'm at worship with. Diamond, Little Big, Shorty, Matt. And
- 31:52Speaker 3: names like that, and I'm, I just told him, my man,
- 31:56Speaker 3: what's up? But we stopped there and we chit-chatted until
- 31:59Speaker 3: they wouldn't play, but I didn't get a sense that
- 32:03Speaker 3: they were up to anything wrong. It just seemed to
- 32:07Speaker 3: me like some dudes that was at the park on
- 32:09Speaker 3: a Friday night and rather than being out selling drugs
- 32:12Speaker 3: or robbing liquor stores or murdering or raping somebody, they
- 32:16Speaker 3: choose to spend their time in the park. I'm sorry,
- 32:23Speaker 3: that bird, I might have to go outside, but They
- 32:26Speaker 3: went and played basketball, and I take my watch. Now
- 32:29Speaker 3: it's a little bit after 7.30. 7.35 come, 40 come.
- 32:36Speaker 3: By 7.45, I started getting that feeling in my stomach.
- 32:41Speaker 3: I then drove all the way out here to this
- 32:43Speaker 3: damn booth. She done stood me up. I said, okay, well,
- 32:52Speaker 3: let's see it early enough. I'm going to just go down.
- 32:55Speaker 3: He can go down in the first quarters, and I'm
- 32:56Speaker 3: going to just make a night out. So I'm getting
- 32:59Speaker 3: ready to leave about 5 a.m. And Herman said, what happened, man?
- 33:05Speaker 3: What happened? She stood you up? I said, it looks
- 33:08Speaker 3: that way. He said, well, you might as well stay
- 33:11Speaker 3: and play basketball. Now, I've been fixed since I was 12,
- 33:18Speaker 3: and I always keep a chain of clothes. in the
- 33:21Speaker 3: trunk of my car. I had one fishing pole and
- 33:24Speaker 3: a small tackle box and some king shoes because I
- 33:28Speaker 3: never know when I'm driving somewhere and I see a
- 33:31Speaker 3: body of water that look like I'm listening. So I
- 33:34Speaker 3: had that in the trunk of my car and I actually,
- 33:36Speaker 3: I had just got this car. I got 1978 Monte Carlo.
- 33:41Speaker 3: It was copper with a half white top and it
- 33:44Speaker 3: had the verdure interior on the seat. I loved that car.
- 33:50Speaker 3: I mean, I absolutely loved it. I'm like, you know,
- 33:52Speaker 3: this is my first vehicle. I got to, yeah, I'm
- 33:56Speaker 3: going to treat you like a baby. So I said,
- 33:59Speaker 3: you know what? I'm going to do that. So I
- 34:02Speaker 3: went in the bathroom, changed clothes for my stuff and
- 34:06Speaker 3: other clothes I had on the car, and I went
- 34:09Speaker 3: and played basketball with him. Now, we played basketball off
- 34:13Speaker 3: and on until midnight because we're all so cute. outdoor
- 34:20Speaker 3: basketball courts. Monday through Thursday, the lights don't go on
- 34:30Speaker 3: until 9 o'clock. What year was this? 1981. 1981. Once
- 34:55Speaker 3: I changed my clothes, I'm sorry, I lost my shirt.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Once I changed my clothes, we went out there and
- 35:10Speaker 3: played basketball. And I played basketball with them off and
- 35:14Speaker 3: on for the next four hours because, oh, that's where
- 35:18Speaker 3: I left off. Public parks, the lights stay on until
- 35:24Speaker 3: 9 o'clock Monday through Thursday. Fridays, they stay on until 10.
- 35:31Speaker 3: And then Saturdays, they stay on until midnight. And then Sunday,
- 35:35Speaker 3: they don't turn them on at all. So, like I said,
- 35:40Speaker 3: when we weren't playing basketball, we were sitting on the
- 35:42Speaker 3: bleachers talking about what we did wrong, what we needed
- 35:47Speaker 3: to do to win at that game. stuff like that
- 35:50Speaker 3: or they were asking me questions about Nebraska so when
- 35:58Speaker 3: the lights went off I'm like alright fellas well I
- 36:04Speaker 3: guess I'll see y'all later and I was going to
- 36:06Speaker 3: go to the car and I stopped and I'm like
- 36:08Speaker 3: where's the closest liquor store you know after drinking that
- 36:12Speaker 3: hot faucet water it's in the park like I need
- 36:16Speaker 3: a cold beer And I believe it was diamond. I said,
- 36:22Speaker 3: we're eight. We about to go right now. We just
- 36:27Speaker 3: piecing up some change together to decide, you know, what
- 36:30Speaker 3: we gonna get. I said, well, I got $ 5 on it.
- 36:33Speaker 3: I come up with the rest. We get a 12
- 36:35Speaker 3: pack or a case of beer and, you know, we
- 36:37Speaker 3: can do this. So, they were trying to count their
- 36:41Speaker 3: change up. And it's dark in the park. We only
- 36:44Speaker 3: got lights on the street light now coming into the park.
- 36:49Speaker 3: And They said, okay, man, we ready. Now, at this time,
- 36:56Speaker 3: I made a decision that changed my life. Because I
- 37:02Speaker 3: couldn't let these six sweaty dudes get in my minor car, though.
- 37:08Speaker 3: But that's my baby. I'm like, no. No, no, no.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Y'all not kidding. You froze. Can you hear me? Hello? Hello?
- 37:30Speaker 2: I don't hear you anymore. Are you there?
- 37:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:38Speaker 3: It froze. Yeah, I'm here. It froze for a minute. Yeah,
- 37:52Speaker 3: it did.
- 37:53Speaker 2: That was strange. As soon as you went in, So, oh, I.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Was telling you about the decision I made. I just pride, vanity,
- 38:11Speaker 3: call the wheel. I'm like, I'm not getting far.
- 38:14Speaker 2: I think you froze again.
- 38:19Speaker 3: What? Okay.
- 38:22Speaker 2: You froze again.
- 38:23Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm wondering what's going on. I'm looking. I got
- 38:24Speaker 3: to get connected. Okay, I'm sorry about that. side. Yeah,
- 38:33Speaker 3: I don't. Oh, I know. I was closer. My internet.
- 38:38Speaker 3: I wasn't. Oh, let's try this again or see what's on.
- 38:47Speaker 3: I just wasn't going to let them guys get in
- 38:48Speaker 3: my car. I just, no, no. Now, at this time,
- 38:54Speaker 3: I had bought a gun when I was in Nebraska.
- 38:57Speaker 3: I had a. 357 Max. And it was in the
- 39:00Speaker 3: trunk of the car. I never considered grabbing it because,
- 39:06Speaker 3: as I said, I didn't feel like I was in
- 39:08Speaker 3: any danger. But I was with these dudes. I'm like,
- 39:13Speaker 3: if y'all going to do something, I'm in y'all neighborhood.
- 39:17Speaker 3: You know, I could have waited until, you know, shortly
- 39:23Speaker 3: after everybody left Hyde Park to do what you're going
- 39:26Speaker 3: to do. Now, when I was headed out to the park,
- 39:34Speaker 3: I had to come up this thing called Airline Highway.
- 39:39Speaker 3: Airline Highway is not that far, like maybe a half
- 39:43Speaker 3: a block from where I was at. So, We exit
- 39:51Speaker 3: out the other side of the park, and we walk
- 39:54Speaker 3: down the street like we're going to Airline Highway, but
- 39:57Speaker 3: there's some railroad tracks right there. Trains run all over Louisiana.
- 40:06Speaker 3: They think it's about anything out of the ordinary for that,
- 40:11Speaker 3: but they turn to go down the railroad tracks. I
- 40:16Speaker 3: don't know why initially I'm thinking we're going to walk
- 40:18Speaker 3: to Winn-Dixie, because it probably was about three-quarters of a
- 40:23Speaker 3: mile away. But they turned and got on the railroad
- 40:27Speaker 3: tracks and started walking down the tracks. Now, on the
- 40:31Speaker 3: left side of the tracks, there's three buildings, a junkyard,
- 40:41Speaker 3: and a lumberyard. On the right side, it's this field
- 40:46Speaker 3: of thistles. I don't know if you know what a
- 40:50Speaker 3: thistle is, but when it starts out growing, it looks
- 40:53Speaker 3: like a dandelion. Got those leaves with the little little
- 40:58Speaker 3: needles on them. Thistles grow in the brasser. They usually
- 41:03Speaker 3: top out about five, six feet. But they get these
- 41:06Speaker 3: long leaves and they got a single purple flower on
- 41:10Speaker 3: the top. But the way they grow, they're they're Just
- 41:20Speaker 3: in mass. I mean, a whole bunch right there. So
- 41:23Speaker 3: if you would just happen to run through them, trust me,
- 41:26Speaker 3: you get hit by them needles, and I call them
- 41:28Speaker 3: hypodermic needles because if they stick you, you're going to
- 41:31Speaker 3: know you've been stuck. Now, since it rained so much
- 41:34Speaker 3: in Louisiana, the thistles I was seeing were seven to
- 41:38Speaker 3: eight feet tall. When you get on the railroad tracks
- 41:42Speaker 3: and the thighs kind of fall away so you're elevated,
- 41:47Speaker 3: I could barely see over some of but i guess
- 41:51Speaker 3: that deal was maybe 100 150 yards as i'm looking
- 41:58Speaker 3: to my right but you can see behind them there
- 42:02Speaker 3: were houses it was a neighborhood i mean right across
- 42:07Speaker 3: the street from the park there were houses right there
- 42:09Speaker 3: i was in the neighborhood i wasn't rural or anything
- 42:12Speaker 3: like that and I could see some back porch lights on,
- 42:16Speaker 3: or if she's looking at the right angle between the houses,
- 42:18Speaker 3: you could see the house across the street, and maybe
- 42:20Speaker 3: they front porch light on. So we're walking, crunching on
- 42:26Speaker 3: the white rocks, and me and Harmon were bringing up
- 42:32Speaker 3: the rear. And I'm looking around. Herman, just out of
- 42:40Speaker 3: the blue, he said, He started asking questions about kids.
- 42:51Speaker 3: But baby, you know, how often do you got to
- 42:57Speaker 3: feed them? Newborn baby. And I'm like, when they hungry,
- 43:01Speaker 3: but usually it's every two, two and a half hours.
- 43:04Speaker 3: He's like, oh, you know, how much you feed them?
- 43:07Speaker 3: Two to four ounces. And, you know, I thought it
- 43:12Speaker 3: was strange, but It didn't really resonate in me that
- 43:16Speaker 3: there was something, you know, where he was going with it.
- 43:20Speaker 3: So then he said, well, you know, I changed diapers.
- 43:25Speaker 3: I said, yeah, I know I changed diapers. Is it hard?
- 43:30Speaker 3: So I explained to him about changing diapers. And then,
- 43:32Speaker 3: you know, I'm kind of looking at his side. I like,
- 43:35Speaker 3: you know, do work. And he said, well, when they
- 43:39Speaker 3: get sick, how do you know they're sick? Did you
- 43:42Speaker 3: take them to the hospital? oh, so you don't know
- 43:49Speaker 3: what because of a fever or something like that? And
- 43:51Speaker 3: I'm like, that's what the doctor's for. And I'm like,
- 43:54Speaker 3: why are you answering all these questions about kids, man?
- 43:56Speaker 3: What's going on? He said, oh, oh, oh, oh. And
- 44:01Speaker 3: he said it just like that. He said, man, he's like,
- 44:04Speaker 3: I'm scared to death, man. I'm like, what you scared for?
- 44:06Speaker 3: He said, my girl's going to have a baby in
- 44:08Speaker 3: the next week or two. And I thought, you know,
- 44:12Speaker 3: I don't know nothing about kids. And I started smiling
- 44:15Speaker 3: because I thought something my grandmother had said. He said, well,
- 44:20Speaker 3: you know what? The damage is done now. I don't
- 44:24Speaker 3: know why you're scared now. Seemed like you should have
- 44:28Speaker 3: been scared whenever I was sleeping around having your little triads.
- 44:32Speaker 3: That's when you should have been scared of being discovered.
- 44:35Speaker 3: And he said, what's a triad? I said, a hookup. Okay,
- 44:39Speaker 3: this is a hookup. He's like, oh, why did you
- 44:41Speaker 3: just say that? I said, I did. But anyway, he said,
- 44:47Speaker 3: you know, man, I said, well, what are you so
- 44:49Speaker 3: scared about? He said, because I don't want to be
- 44:51Speaker 3: the type of father my father was. I said, what
- 44:55Speaker 3: kind of father do you have? He said, he wasn't
- 44:58Speaker 3: ever around. He said, I know who he is, and
- 45:01Speaker 3: I know where he's living. You know, we don't talk.
- 45:03Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, I'm tired of hearing that, man. But
- 45:07Speaker 3: I said, you just answered your own question. He said,
- 45:10Speaker 3: what do you mean? I said, you said you didn't
- 45:11Speaker 3: want to be like your father, right? I said, then don't.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Then don't. Don't leave your son or daughter just because
- 45:22Speaker 3: you're not getting along with the mom. Don't do that.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Always be there for that kid. You don't have to
- 45:27Speaker 3: be with your child's parent or mom in order to
- 45:32Speaker 3: be a good father. It's that you already have lived
- 45:36Speaker 3: that life of not having your father be prevalent in
- 45:40Speaker 3: your life. And I guess... Some of the things I
- 45:45Speaker 3: was saying because of the words I was using, he
- 45:47Speaker 3: might not have got because he was asking me, what
- 45:49Speaker 3: does prevalence mean? So I had to kind of, and
- 45:53Speaker 3: no offense to him, but I kind of had to
- 45:55Speaker 3: dumb it down a little bit. I said, it means
- 45:59Speaker 3: that you shouldn't, I said, I'm not going to give
- 46:04Speaker 3: you the definition if you want to know, look it up,
- 46:05Speaker 3: but just want to make sure you be a better father,
- 46:08Speaker 3: be there for your kids. Just be there for your kid,
- 46:11Speaker 3: regardless of what's going on with his mom or her mom.
- 46:14Speaker 3: Be there for your kid. Like, well, that's the plan
- 46:17Speaker 3: he sent me. He said, but I'm just scared because
- 46:20Speaker 3: I don't know nothing. I said, well, you know the
- 46:23Speaker 3: most important part. You're not going to get somebody pregnant.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Now you just got to learn to rest. I said,
- 46:27Speaker 3: ask your mom and your grandmother if you got any
- 46:30Speaker 3: questions about kids. If they can't answer it, go to
- 46:34Speaker 3: the library and get a book. Now, I knew about kids.
- 46:38Speaker 3: I wasn't aware. for being but a fool about you
- 46:41Speaker 3: so he was like okay so I'm looking all we
- 46:45Speaker 3: walking I'm looking around and he's like what did you
- 46:48Speaker 3: see something I said no man it's dark as I
- 46:51Speaker 3: don't know what back here because behind those three buildings
- 46:55Speaker 3: that I mentioned earlier there's one single street light behind
- 46:59Speaker 3: each building but they're spaced far enough apart that you
- 47:04Speaker 3: can walk under the light of one But in between
- 47:09Speaker 3: you getting to the second light, there's an area of gloom.
- 47:12Speaker 3: And I went out. It's dark. If I was to
- 47:15Speaker 3: see somebody walking toward me up the tracks, I would
- 47:18Speaker 3: see their silhouette if they weren't directing under the light.
- 47:22Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what their silhouette looked like, but
- 47:24Speaker 3: I couldn't describe what their facial features were. So we
- 47:28Speaker 3: were under the first light because, as I said, we
- 47:33Speaker 3: was walking in the rear of everybody else. And I'm
- 47:40Speaker 3: looking around and he asked me, you know, did you
- 47:43Speaker 3: see something? He said, I said, no. He said, well,
- 47:46Speaker 3: there is a big black dog that stay in the junkyard.
- 47:50Speaker 3: And I looked over into the junkyard like, really? He said, yeah.
- 47:53Speaker 3: And sometime he get out, he said, I don't know
- 47:55Speaker 3: what type of dog it is. It might be, it
- 47:57Speaker 3: looked like he half lab and half Rottweiler, half Rottweiler
- 48:01Speaker 3: and German Shepherd, but it's a big black dog. I'm like, Oh,
- 48:06Speaker 3: that's nice to know. I said to the chief myself,
- 48:08Speaker 3: he's like, if he get out, he gonna run toward you.
- 48:11Speaker 3: Just pick up some rocks, throw them at him, and
- 48:13Speaker 3: start hollering. And usually he, you know, he gonna keep barking.
- 48:16Speaker 3: He might growl, but he gonna run off. I'm like, oh,
- 48:19Speaker 3: now that is good to know. Okay. Yeah, but no,
- 48:22Speaker 3: I didn't see no dog. So we're walking out of
- 48:28Speaker 3: the first light into that area of gloom. We still
- 48:33Speaker 3: kind of make a small talk. He asked me a
- 48:36Speaker 3: couple more questions about kids. But, you know, we're walking
- 48:41Speaker 3: on these rocks, and it's that current, current, current, current.
- 48:46Speaker 3: So just before we got to the second street light,
- 48:54Speaker 3: we just about to come out that area of glue,
- 48:57Speaker 3: and I was turning my head to look to the right.
- 49:04Speaker 3: Something came out of them thistles. Now, at this time,
- 49:11Speaker 3: I'm 5 foot 11. I weigh 225 pounds. I can
- 49:13Speaker 3: bitch fresh 300 pounds and I can squat 500 pounds.
- 49:19Speaker 3: because I was playing football. Now, you know, I always
- 49:25Speaker 3: wanted to play in the NFL. I'm not scared of
- 49:28Speaker 3: no man, woman, child that walk this earth. I know
- 49:32Speaker 3: even if it hadn't been Andre the Giant or Hulk Hogan,
- 49:35Speaker 3: I knew enough about fighting that. My brother told me
- 49:38Speaker 3: if you fight a bigger opponent, They come chase you around.
- 49:42Speaker 3: They carrying all that extra mass. They gonna start getting tired.
- 49:46Speaker 3: As soon as you see they'll start sucking wind, chop
- 49:48Speaker 3: the tree down. They told me places this shit could
- 49:52Speaker 3: bring them down. I'm like, okay. So I'm not worried
- 49:54Speaker 3: about no, I wouldn't worry about any of them dudes.
- 49:56Speaker 3: And also I'm running a Fortune 40. When I get
- 50:00Speaker 3: ready to go, I'm going. I'm going fast. So I
- 50:07Speaker 3: knew I could outrun Everybody that was with me. Because
- 50:13Speaker 3: I had been doing it on the basketball court. So,
- 50:19Speaker 3: for some reason, when, like I said, I did not
- 50:22Speaker 3: see it clearly. I just looked at you to the
- 50:24Speaker 3: right and I seen something black in my career. I
- 50:27Speaker 3: didn't even turn my head to look to see it. Well,
- 50:29Speaker 3: I took off where I'm at. So, I guess my
- 50:33Speaker 3: primordial instinct kicked in to where it was like, you
- 50:36Speaker 3: don't even want to see, just know that it's standards
- 50:38Speaker 3: and you need to exit of the standards. I took
- 50:47Speaker 3: maybe four or five steps. I'm about to downshift, go
- 50:51Speaker 3: to that next year. And I heard, I don't know
- 50:56Speaker 3: if you ever heard before, but the sound of a
- 50:58Speaker 3: body when it hit the ground on some rocks and
- 51:01Speaker 3: slide a little. I heard that. Let me see. Don't
- 51:09Speaker 3: leave me. But I can't describe, out of all the
- 51:19Speaker 3: words I know, I can't describe what it was in
- 51:26Speaker 3: his voice other than to say it was heart-rending. That was,
- 51:34Speaker 3: never heard that in a human voice. I mean, he,
- 51:41Speaker 3: it was a scream, You know, so I guess whatever
- 51:55Speaker 3: he said affected me to my heart. I'm thinking, it's
- 52:04Speaker 3: that damn dog from the junkyard. I don't know if
- 52:08Speaker 3: he tripped or if he fell, but I ain't going
- 52:11Speaker 3: to leave him to get mauled. Now, I just met
- 52:14Speaker 3: him that night. It would have been normal human behavior
- 52:20Speaker 3: to run off and lead him to his fight. But
- 52:24Speaker 3: I'm like, I can't do that because I've been bit
- 52:26Speaker 3: by a dog before and it's not blessed. So he said,
- 52:32Speaker 3: some get some rocks, turn around and start hollering. And,
- 52:37Speaker 3: you know, so I kind of slid to a stop. Now,
- 52:42Speaker 3: I don't know if it's just a black people thing,
- 52:45Speaker 3: if it's any crazy thing, but When you're running and
- 52:49Speaker 3: you start running by somebody, if they see you're running,
- 52:53Speaker 3: they don't look back and see what you're running from.
- 52:54Speaker 3: They just take off. We'll figure it out later on.
- 52:57Speaker 3: We'll know what you're running from or something. Well, the
- 53:01Speaker 3: other guys took off running because they heard me coming.
- 53:06Speaker 3: They just bolted. So, I don't know how far they
- 53:11Speaker 3: ran down with that, but Fled to a stop and
- 53:15Speaker 3: I turned around, I bent down, I picked up two
- 53:17Speaker 3: half full of rocks, cocked my right arm back, and
- 53:20Speaker 3: I started running back toward where Herman was. He's laying
- 53:24Speaker 3: just outside of the second lot. I could see him.
- 53:26Speaker 3: He's on his back. He's propped up on his elbows
- 53:30Speaker 3: and he's looking up. I'm looking at what's on top
- 53:39Speaker 3: of him. I'm like, that is a big blankety blank dog.
- 53:49Speaker 3: That's a big dog because I could see the ears
- 53:54Speaker 3: and the outline of the head. But it was crouched
- 53:59Speaker 3: down to where you tuck your chin towards your chest.
- 54:03Speaker 3: It had its nose tucked down like that because the
- 54:08Speaker 3: faces might have been six to eight inches apart, but
- 54:11Speaker 3: it was just focused on him. And I'm like, you know,
- 54:17Speaker 3: do she got him? Does it have his face in
- 54:20Speaker 3: his mouth? You know, what the hell's going on? Because
- 54:23Speaker 3: it wasn't growling. Hermit wasn't screaming. He wasn't struggling. And
- 54:26Speaker 3: I'm like, I was just blown away by the sight.
- 54:33Speaker 3: Because he looked like a child up under an adult
- 54:38Speaker 3: up under his thing. And I was like, what? I'm
- 54:45Speaker 3: thinking dog, I'm thinking dog, but something's telling me that's
- 54:49Speaker 3: not matching up. I mean, you can see the ears
- 54:52Speaker 3: and the head, but that's not matching up. You know,
- 54:59Speaker 3: I got my arm caught and I'm standing there looking
- 55:02Speaker 3: because I'm trying to figure out, you know, what type
- 55:06Speaker 3: of dog is it? They said big black dog, but
- 55:09Speaker 3: he didn't say that this was no world record breaker.
- 55:13Speaker 3: He just said big black dog, so I heard the
- 55:17Speaker 3: guys start coming back down the track. And I'm standing
- 55:22Speaker 3: directly in the middle of the tracks and I can
- 55:24Speaker 3: hear a lot of cursing. What the blank is that? What, what,
- 55:29Speaker 3: you know, what the blank is that? Do you know what,
- 55:34Speaker 3: what is it doing to harm me? You know, I'm
- 55:35Speaker 3: hearing all this. I'm not saying nothing because I'm like,
- 55:39Speaker 3: I got to, you know, what is this thing? And
- 55:44Speaker 3: a few seconds later, I heard somebody say, Don't shoot it.
- 55:51Speaker 3: I didn't know. Anybody had a gun. I found out
- 55:54Speaker 3: later on. We got a liquor store who had a gun.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Because he had it in his little fan pack. And
- 56:00Speaker 3: I'm like. No don't shoot it idiot. I'm standing right
- 56:03Speaker 3: here in the middle of the track. Now I'm not
- 56:05Speaker 3: about to turn around. And look at the guy who
- 56:06Speaker 3: got the gun. Because I need to keep my eyes
- 56:09Speaker 3: on this thing in front of me. As soon as
- 56:12Speaker 3: Shorty Mac said that. That's how he looked up. And
- 56:18Speaker 3: then came two steps with foot from just past the
- 56:24Speaker 3: shoulders to the head under that second light. The thing
- 56:37Speaker 3: that rattled me the most first was this hand comes
- 56:43Speaker 3: out of the dark and then laces down on the river.
- 56:47Speaker 3: I'm sorry, on the rocks. I ain't talking about no raccoon, Paul.
- 56:53Speaker 3: I'm not talking about the dogs, Paul. I'm talking about
- 56:56Speaker 3: a five-digit hand just like my thumb and same place
- 57:00Speaker 3: except for it's three times my size and it's got
- 57:03Speaker 3: these long claws on. They were approximately two and a half,
- 57:09Speaker 3: three inches. Now, they were curved, but they weren't wickedly curved.
- 57:15Speaker 3: But they were curved enough so that when it said
- 57:17Speaker 3: it's hanging down, tips of the fingers would not make
- 57:20Speaker 3: contact with the ground it was on the claw and
- 57:23Speaker 3: I'm looking like you know I'm seeing this fur and
- 57:30Speaker 3: this forearm and I'm like no I'm like what you
- 57:36Speaker 3: know colorful colorful colorful colorful language is that and when
- 57:46Speaker 3: it started coming into a light The eyes weren't glowing
- 57:50Speaker 3: before then, so I'm assuming that they were reflecting the
- 57:53Speaker 3: light that was there, but you see these golf ball
- 57:57Speaker 3: sized eyes with a black pupil, a little bitty black pupil,
- 58:04Speaker 3: but the eyes were the color of which you take
- 58:07Speaker 3: the full moon when it's yellow and the full moon
- 58:09Speaker 3: when it's white and mix them. That's what color the
- 58:13Speaker 3: eyes were. It wasn't snarling or nothing like that. It
- 58:17Speaker 3: just was looking, but This head.
- 58:23Speaker 4: Oh my God.
- 58:29Speaker 3: I'm sorry, whenever I talk about the. That head had
- 58:35Speaker 3: to be 24, 26 inch. Now, there was fur. So,
- 58:42Speaker 3: you know how a dog has a rough, So when
- 58:45Speaker 3: I say that marriage, I'm going from the rough to
- 58:48Speaker 3: the rough, but just the muzzle was, it wasn't extremely long,
- 58:55Speaker 3: but it was wide. Like, I guess the best description,
- 58:59Speaker 3: if I had to make a comparison between a breed
- 59:02Speaker 3: of dog and what I see would be an Alaskan Malamute.
- 59:09Speaker 3: But there's a whole lot bigger and I'm looking and
- 59:12Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, okay. Something in my mind was like, okay,
- 59:19Speaker 3: I'm looking at a blanking werewolf. That's what I'm looking at.
- 59:24Speaker 3: Just A calm voice in my head said that, and,
- 59:28Speaker 3: you know, my arm has come down to my side,
- 59:30Speaker 3: and I guess I'm just letting the rocks trickle out,
- 59:33Speaker 3: and this thing is looking, but it did a sweep
- 59:37Speaker 3: and looked at all of us. It was a smooth
- 59:39Speaker 3: motion with a slight hiccup, like, I see you, I
- 59:42Speaker 3: see you, I see you, I see you, I see you.
- 59:44Speaker 3: Then it looked past me, and then what's it been
- 59:46Speaker 3: looking at to do that? The demeanor changed. The ears
- 59:53Speaker 3: went back. And there was a low growl, but I
- 59:58Speaker 3: could feel it. I don't know if it came from
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: my feet and went up or my head and went down,
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: but I could feel it. And, you know, the dudes,
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: they really started freaking out. And what the hell is that?
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: You know, that's a monster. It's a monster. It's a monster.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: I heard the chief saying that, and I'm just like,
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I'm getting ready to die. I don't see no way
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: out of the situation because when it came forward, it
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: was less than 10 feet away from me. So I
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: got a real good look. More than a look than
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: I ever would have wanted to have, but just when
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: you look at something and you know there's no way
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: I'm going to survive a physical confrontation with this. That's
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: the way I felt. I'm like, I'm getting ready to die.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: My there's such a thing as your life left before
- 1:00:59Speaker 3: your eyes. That's how we started to go because I'm
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: thinking I'm going to heaven and I'm going to be
- 1:01:09Speaker 3: in one of the 33 gallon garbage bags. And they're
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: going to have to figure out a way to pull
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: me back together just to let me walk through the
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: pearly gate. But you dead, Roy. You are dead. Ain't
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: nothing Who gonna show up to save you? Batman ain't
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: gonna show up. Superman ain't gonna be there. And trust me,
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: I need somebody with some abilities to save me from
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: this thing. I just... And this is just looking at
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: the top. And I'm like... The muscle... This thing arm
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: is longer from the elbow to the wrist than from
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: the wrist to the shoulder. So... Now that I know
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: what I know, it makes sense to me how they
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: can go about so easily on all fours because.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: It looked like that was his natural state.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: When it growled, I'm not going to lie, I stood
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: there and I urinated on myself. I'm not ashamed to
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: say that. I don't know. If that is something that
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: every animal does in a situation like that, but I
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: liken it to I'm getting rid of excess body weight
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: in case I gotta run again. I need to be
- 1:02:42Speaker 3: as light as I can. That's the only thing that
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: kind of makes sense to me. It doesn't make sense
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: to me why you would use rock money and stuff
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: like that, but it's happened to quite a few people,
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: so maybe I need to do more research on it. But,
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: you know, as I'm standing there looking at it, I'm
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: really looking at it and the eyes, the hands, the
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: muscles in the forearm, I mean, her forearms were probably
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: four times bigger than mine. I mean, just massive and
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: To see that. The way the shoulder. The muscles in
- 1:03:29Speaker 3: the shoulders were. Because. I don't know how to answer.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: To what they are. But for something that has. From
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: the waist down. Beautiful dog. And then from the waist
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: up to the neck. Like a human being. And then
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: you got shoulders. Arms and hands. I. I don't know
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: how to answer to that. But I know that when
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: I seen that thing, I thought I was going to die. Now,
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: he came forward. That kind of put her high quarters
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: right over Hunter's face. So he would be able to
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: be wanting to hear about the waterworks and stuff like that.
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: I can't comment on that. But he still, he didn't
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: try to get away. He wasn't screaming. It's like he
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: had checked out. He was in the same pond. So
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: since I didn't take my opportunity to run like I
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: initially did, once my mind kind of accepted, okay, you're
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: going to die, but she didn't do nothing but stand
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: there and look at us and she growled and laid
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: her ears back. So I'm thinking, okay, Maybe I can
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: get out of here. Maybe. And I started, I was
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: looking at that fence because there's a fence behind the
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: buildings I told you about. It's that tall chain link
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: fence with the three strands of barbed wire. Now, the
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: middle building, if I can make it to the top
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: of that fence, I know I'm going to get chewed
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: up on that barbed wire. I'll take that as opposed
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: to getting chewed up by a werewolf. I'll take that
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: all day, any day. then I would have been able
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: to jump from the top of that fence to that building.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: And I could have ran across it and dropped down.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: And I would have been right next to Airline Highway.
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: You could hear cars going up and down the highway.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: And with all the yelling that them Jews was doing, somebody,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: I'm thinking I'm not sure, had to hear one of
- 1:05:50Speaker 3: them houses. Because they weren't being, they was yelling. Now
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: the dog in the junkyard didn't go off. If he
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: was even there. So, that's when I'm like, if somebody
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: had a drove up, turned off Airline Highway and went
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: up that street, they had to look to their left.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Down the railroad tracks, they would have been able to
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: see us. There's no cars. Now, it's 1230 a.m. on
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: a Friday. So, there's still traffic out. But where I
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: didn't see him, at least I didn't see anything, but
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: I wasn't looking for a car. I wasn't focused on
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: this monster in front of me. So, I'm thinking if
- 1:06:37Speaker 3: I can make it to that fence, I might have
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: a chance. Now, I haven't seen this thing run yet. Now,
- 1:06:46Speaker 3: but now that I know what I know, I might
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: have made it to the fence and got my spine ripped.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: but I wouldn't even been able to start the climb.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: That wasn't going to happen. I turned my feet in
- 1:07:02Speaker 3: that direction. You know, you're on gravel and you do that,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: it's going to make noise. Because, you know, I didn't
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: want to have any remote moves I had to make.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: I wanted to have my feet pointed so when I'm
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: ready to go, I'm going to go. As soon as
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: I did that, he snapped her head over and looked
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: right at me. Now, she's down on all four, but
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: her head It may be three inches lower than mine.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: And I'm 5'11. And I'm looking like, oh, snap. And
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: that's when I really locked eyes with her because she
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: was focused on me like everybody else did. She looked
- 1:07:45Speaker 3: right at me and it was like, run. Go ahead
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: and run. See how far you make it. Run. Now,
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: I'm not saying We had any kind of. To communicate.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: But from where I was looking at. That was the expression.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: On her face. Now. You know. You have a dog.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Your dog look at you. Till. Your dog knows you.
- 1:08:15Speaker 3: The look that this thing. Had on his face. Was like.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: I know you. And. That's bothered me for a long time.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: It's bothered me for a long time. But as I said,
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: I got a real good look at it and that's
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: when I really started looking. Well, after I peed on
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: myself again.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: Because she she did show a little bit of a
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: sign of aggression or maybe it was a warning.
- 1:08:55Speaker 3: She did bare her teeth but she never opened her
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: mouth and and them canines that she had they would
- 1:09:04Speaker 3: put a male African lion teeth to shine they was
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: about three inches long and he did that grin that
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: dog and I'm like it's a rap Roy to a rat.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: But she did that when the guy went up against
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: the ladder when she laid her ears back. But when
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: they was looking at me, I started really looking at her.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: For her to be in them thistles, she should have
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: had leaf debris on her. Maybe some dirt or mud
- 1:09:43Speaker 3: on her hand. Because, you know, like I said, it
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: rains a lot in Louisiana. And Louisiana has this smell
- 1:09:49Speaker 3: of The wireless did it. I mean, it's a smell.
- 1:09:51Speaker 3: I don't know if it's rotten ventilation or what. It's
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: very humid there, so even if she had had a smell,
- 1:09:59Speaker 3: I don't think unless Will was that close, I probably
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: wouldn't smell it. But I didn't smell it. The only
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: thing I smelled was her breath. And because she was
- 1:10:09Speaker 3: that close, if he did that growl, it smelled like
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: she had ate something and just never, ever brushed her teeth.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: It was.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: Kind of like doggy breath, but more. But overall, in
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: a different situation, with a great deal of distance between
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: us or maybe a glass enclosure that she couldn't break,
- 1:10:35Speaker 3: I would have classified her as youth or whatever she was.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: I mean, it looked like she had just came from
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: the groomers. And he knew she.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: Was a girl. You keep saying she.
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: I'm going to come to that in just a minute.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: The blackness, and I've shared a few pictures with you,
- 1:11:02Speaker 3: but the black as they are, it's almost like they
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: can absorb light. And I don't understand that. I know
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: there's others that come in different color variations, but The
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: black ones, for some reason, it looks like it's otherworldly black.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Like they can actually just devour light because she was really,
- 1:11:24Speaker 3: really black. But any light tones that she have, like
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: her eyes or she looked like she has splashes of
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: gray on her, like a patchwork quilt. That would be
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: the best because there was no definite design. If it
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: was black, you're a splash there. So... Once she looked
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: at me like that, and I canceled the runaway thing
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: and urinated on myself. Now, twice my converse are doing
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: a stoking wet, and I'm like, man, this is, she
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: was looking at me, and something weird happened. If you've
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: ever had a dog that had fleas, and they might
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: be sitting next to you or laying down, and then
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: they make that real quick jerk and start biting at
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: the base of their tail or on their tail. She
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: twitched like that. Now, I'm not saying that she started
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: chewing for fleas or nothing, but she twitched like that.
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: And then she stood up. Okay. Wait a minute. Stop
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: the presses. Stop the presses. What I'm thinking... It is
- 1:12:43Speaker 3: a werewolf. And we're not thinking about the traditional term
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: of werewolf. This thing stood up. Wasn't no snapping and
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: popping that some people say where they're here where the
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: hips sort of jointed. Wasn't none of that. She just
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: smoothly stood up. And I'm looking up. And I'm like, oh,
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: everybody's dead. This thing stood the hell up. But she
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: looked over in the thistles. And that's when I got
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: to see her standing up. Now, I've never seen a tail,
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: but I saw four breasts. And I'm not talking about
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: four doggy breasts. I saw four, looked like human female
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: breasts that were covered with fur because her hair was
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: only about two inches. I could see she had the
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: V-shaped coming from her rib down to her hip. She
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: probably had a six-pack. Now, I didn't look lower to
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: see if she had four more breasts than the traditional
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: female canine I would have. But I seen four, and
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: they were spaced apart just enough by my estimation I
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: could have slid my hand in between the top one
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: and the lower. Not that I was planning on doing
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: that or had any desire to do that. And that's
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: when I was like, and it's a female too? What the,
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: you know... That just took me to a whole nother
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: WTF minute. And she looked over in the thistles and
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: I'm looking up and that's when I got to see,
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: do a size estimation of how tall she was. I've
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: just played basketball for hours. I've been playing basketball since
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: I was 10. She had to be between nine and
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: nine and a half feet. Her arms hanging down would
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: have been approximately five feet long from her shoulder to
- 1:14:40Speaker 3: the tip of the claws. I put her weight right
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: about with the muscles because when I got to see
- 1:14:49Speaker 3: the thickness of the thighs, her thighs felt my shame.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: She probably would have been. I did another show, and
- 1:14:56Speaker 3: I think in the moment, I may have given her
- 1:14:59Speaker 3: more pounds than I do have, but I know my
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: father used to drive a semi-trailer for a packing house.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: So I've seen the bulls and the cowls. because I
- 1:15:10Speaker 3: would ride with him sometime in the summer. I'd see
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: him in the back when we'd stop and get gas
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: and I'd be looking through the holes or when they
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: unload and reload. So I've become decent when it comes
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: to Jesse's weight. He was, I'm going to say, about 500,
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: 510 pounds. And with the muscles, because muscle mass is
- 1:15:35Speaker 3: heavier than soft weight, I'm like, Oh, you would have did.
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: She could have dunked the basketball standing flat footed with
- 1:15:44Speaker 3: arm length to spare. And I'm like, I'm looking up
- 1:15:47Speaker 3: at her. And like I said, she, it was, it
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: was so freaking fast. It was like, man, if she
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: had a restopper slapping, you wouldn't even have time to
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: throw your hand up. You probably wouldn't even have time
- 1:15:58Speaker 3: to blink in your head. I mean, she was extremely fast.
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: And just that, that basic movement. So she looked over
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: in the thistles and I turned my head and I
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: looked And I seen these six red lights. Now, I
- 1:16:13Speaker 3: already told you how black it was back there. So
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: imagine being 60 feet back in them thistles where that
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: light's not going to penetrate. They were in a triangle
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: formation like a person standing in the front and then
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: a person standing to the right and a person standing
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: to the left. Now, a lot of people are saying,
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: and no disrespect to them, that those must have been
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: her babies. I've described how these lights look. It's like
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: if you take a reflector off a bicycle, take a
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: black magic marker and start in the center and start
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: filling it in until you're about an eighth of an
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: inch away from the edge. That's what I saw. I
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: don't know any animal that had eyes like that. And plus,
- 1:17:02Speaker 3: her eyes weren't red. But I just don't feel like
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Those were her pups because her breasts were not the
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: breasts of a nursing female. They weren't saggy or anything.
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: They looked like a woman that goes to the gym
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: to stay fit. She's not trying to bulk up, but
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: she's trying to stay fit. Because when she went up,
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: there was a slight bounce, but it wasn't a lot
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: of jiggle. So, I'm like, I'm going to always disagree
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: that them was pups. What they were, I have no idea.
- 1:17:34Speaker 3: Some people have said, well, maybe That was the government there.
- 1:17:40Speaker 3: Maybe it was Ailey. I have no idea. Or maybe
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: it was a different type of dog, man. I've had
- 1:17:47Speaker 3: so many theories run past me. I don't know. I
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: can't say yes, definitely that's what it was. But I
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: looked over there and I seen that. I'm looking for
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: her and I seen her slightly bend her hind leg.
- 1:18:03Speaker 3: She jumped off the railroad tracks into the thistles And
- 1:18:08Speaker 3: when she's hit it, she's hit it running towards them lights.
- 1:18:12Speaker 3: But she went down on all four. That's when I
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: got to see how fast. She had to be doing
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: 60 within three strides. Because them thistles was laying down,
- 1:18:21Speaker 3: but they was popping right back. Like the wind had
- 1:18:23Speaker 3: went over. They weren't flying up in the air and
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: stuff like that. And I'm like, wait a minute. How
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: in the hell is you going to jump in there
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: with them long ass needle on them leaves? And you
- 1:18:33Speaker 3: just running through. And I'm like, oh my God.
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: So.
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: I just watched until the thistle stopped moving, and then
- 1:18:41Speaker 3: when I looked, I didn't see the lights. So I
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: ran down to Herman, and here come the other dudes,
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: and they still like, of course then the buyers say
- 1:18:51Speaker 3: hey stub you okay you okay stub no no nobody
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: around then was Herman Herman Herman and I'm okay because
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: I was okay you know I'm wet I'm alive so
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: we'll get to Herman and I'm like Herman Herman you
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: alright you alright and I'm looking him in his face
- 1:19:10Speaker 3: Herman's eyes is blank. He's got a little drool coming
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: out of the corner of his mouth. He's not, you know,
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: we shaking and this stuff. Herman, Herman, get him up.
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: And he's pretty much, I ain't going to say he
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: was dead in a way, but he wasn't helping us
- 1:19:28Speaker 3: a lot. Now, in my opinion, we should have went
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: back to the park. But they like, come on, man,
- 1:19:37Speaker 3: let's get down here to the liquor store. So we
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: can call the police. And I'm like, what? But I
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: didn't run off and leave you. So I'm not going
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: to leave you now. And plus, after what I've just
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: seen running through there, my herd mentality is real strong
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: right now. I'm not trying to go off by myself.
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: I'm not. So even though I'm kind of questioning this
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: moving in the back of my head, I do. dead
- 1:20:07Speaker 3: loud so we going down the tracks and we have
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: dragon out there but once you get past that third
- 1:20:12Speaker 3: like it's black down there but you only got to
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: go another 40 50 feet and then there's a trail
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: that goes through the thistles but they have been going
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: this way for so long that they've actually beat the
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: ground down dirt so nothing's growing and you can actually
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: walk through people side by side but i'm like i
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: ain't went in this direction And now I want to
- 1:20:38Speaker 3: go in this direction. They're like, we got to get
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: out here so we can use the file. Need to
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: get you the file. So we left the park at 1235.
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: When we got to the liquor store, it was about
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: 1254 because back then the liquor store was lower than
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: one o'clock. We kind of, we come out the back.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Thank God there's lights all on the back over there.
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: One car parked back there. We come around and fire
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: the bill and come out to this little lick right
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: by the big window on the liquor store. So put
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: Herman there, and I got my hand in his chest. See,
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: if I let it go, he going to face me.
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Three of the dudes went into the liquor store. You
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: could hear them. They all talking. They want you to cut. Man,
- 1:21:28Speaker 3: it's a monster. We just seen a worm phone, you know,
- 1:21:31Speaker 3: and the dude is looking at him like, okay, what
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: the hell is y'all talking about? So, finally he whistles like,
- 1:21:45Speaker 3: I don't know what y'all been smoking, I don't know
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: what y'all been snorting, I don't know what y'all been chewing.
- 1:21:50Speaker 3: Make your selection, bring it up here to the counter,
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: pay for it, because I'm getting ready to close. man,
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: you don't understand. We just seen a mob. Now, y'all
- 1:22:00Speaker 3: said when we was on the track that y'all coming
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: down here to use the phone. Ask him, can you
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: use the damn phone? So they kept talking. Finally, he said,
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: you know what? I got time for this nonsense. Y'all
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: could just leave. And I'm like, oh, man, no. So
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: they come out of the store. He locks the door behind.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: I tell him, here, come and hold Herman, man. Come
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: and hold Herman. Gonna hold him. Think it was shorty mackerel.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: Little bit that came in was holding Herman. So I
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: go up to the thing and I'm knocking on the glass.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: Now he done took the drawer, the drawer out of
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: the cash register that he's counting. And I'm knocking on
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: the window. He kind of looked up at me like, what?
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: And I just did the motion for it and I
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: used the phone. He just kind of did that. shooey
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: go away motion and kept on money and i knocked
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: when i said man let me use the phone or
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: you call the police he said i'm ready to close
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: now before they came out before he locked the door
- 1:23:05Speaker 3: one of you said man is that your car in
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: the back he said yeah why he said can you
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: at least move your car around the front why we
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: because i'm telling you everything i love they're the werewolf
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: on the railroad track dude said yeah right whatever and
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: close the door now After all these years that went by,
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: I had an epiphany. I could have made him call
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: a poet. All I had to do was pick up
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: one of them rocks out there in the parking lot
- 1:23:37Speaker 3: and throw it through that big old window. He would
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: have called the police lickety-split. But then, of course, that
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: brings me to another issue. Now, you vandalize and stuff,
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: so I'm like, okay, whatever, so. While I'm trying to
- 1:23:52Speaker 3: get him to let me use the phone, I can
- 1:23:54Speaker 3: hear the other dudes talking, but I really wasn't focused
- 1:23:57Speaker 3: on them. I'm trying to hear it through that phone.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: Once he turned me down, the last time, I'm like, okay.
- 1:24:05Speaker 3: So I turn and I hear one of the dudes.
- 1:24:08Speaker 3: I can't remember. He said, man, what is this white
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: stuff in Herman's? I can't get it out. And I'm like...
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: what the hell are you talking about? So I walk
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: down there and I'm kind of short and then I'm like,
- 1:24:20Speaker 3: what are you talking about? He's like, man, he got
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: this white stuff beneath here. I can't get down. So
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: I lick my thumb, my forefinger and I started rubbing
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: it because I brushed it first and then I lick my,
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: and I wipe him and it's not coming out. It's
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: not getting light. And I'm kind of like, man, what?
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: So I took my hands and kind of parted his
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: hair and all the way down to his scalp. He's
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: got a white spot in his hair. It's a little
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: bit bigger than a 50 cent piece. Now, I know
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: 110% that when I met him, his hair was all black.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: When he sat next to me that night on the bleachers,
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: his hair was all black. When we played basketball, his
- 1:25:05Speaker 3: hair was all black. I got to see him from
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: every angle. And I'm like, I don't know what to
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: make of this. But Hermes still is not responding. You know,
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: they gave him a few light slaps. Well, I hope
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: they was light because, you know, they kind of anxious.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: So they might hit him a little bit harder than Kenny,
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: but he's still not responding. Then we find out he
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: done evacuated both of his bowels. And I'm like, we
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: still got to get you home. So now we got
- 1:25:41Speaker 3: to take the long way home because I don't care
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: what you tell me. I'm not going back through them
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: thistles and I damn sure ain't going back up them rivers.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: You could cancel Christmas if that's what you expect, right?
- 1:25:56Speaker 3: It took us about 45 minutes because we were half carrying,
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: half dragging. Any noise that we heard that did not
- 1:26:06Speaker 3: sound like a car going by, wind blew some branches together.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: We would immediately stop and kind of be in a semi-circle,
- 1:26:16Speaker 3: everybody looking, and we like, we will be talking, but
- 1:26:19Speaker 3: you shut up when you hear this weird noise. And
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: you know, I don't know, I'm not saying a whole bunch,
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: but the dudes was talking, man. Blackie, black werewolf, did
- 1:26:32Speaker 3: y'all see that thing? Diamond kept saying, overgrow it. He
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: said they had titties, man. They had titties. I can't
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: believe your fat titties. And I'm like, It had a
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: whole lot more than that. Did you not see them teeth?
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: Did you not see them claws? And they was like, well, Stubb,
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: what did you see? You was closest. I'm like, actually,
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: I wasn't closest. Herman was closest. He's not telling nothing.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: But I told them what I seen, and they was like, yep, yep,
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: that's what I seen. So that's when I found out
- 1:27:00Speaker 3: Diamond is the one that had the freaking slub nose 30.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: He was like, man, I was going to shoot it
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: in the head. And I'm looking like, take that pop
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: gun and shoot that thing. You see how big she was? Dude,
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: we were all going to get killed. I would hit
- 1:27:16Speaker 3: it in the head. I'm like, I said, where were
- 1:27:19Speaker 3: you standing at when you was firing the gun? He said,
- 1:27:21Speaker 3: right behind you. I'm like, and you're seeing a monster.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: Your hand is shaking, so you're gone. Dude. So, it
- 1:27:31Speaker 3: took us longer than it should have in my opinion
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: because now I'm just, I'm ready to go. My feet
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: is wet. It got cold. underwear my shorts and I'm
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: like I'm not liking this feeling but I'm feeling not
- 1:27:46Speaker 3: because I don't know exactly where I'm at now because
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: I ain't never been up here so I gotta stay
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: with them to get home so we make it back
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: to the park we cut across the park and lo
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: and behold when you come out the other side and
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: go across the street Hermie live right there I'm like
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: okay okay so just like they did at the liquor
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: store Three of them run up the steps and I
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: got Herman and I'm holding so he don't face land by.
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: I got him to sit down on the edge of
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: the court. One of them is knocking on the door.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: Another one's ringing the door and another one is over
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: there shitting on the window. Now, it's after two o'clock
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: in the morning. So, his mom comes to the door.
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: She got on her nightclothes, a head wrap and of course,
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: she swung that door open. Who the blank is out
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: there beating on my door like they ain't got no
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: damn sense? What the hell is wrong with y'all? They
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: all start talking at once. Huh? Monster. Where ever we're at. T,
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: and she's looking like, you know, she's looking at him.
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: I'm standing on him. the ground, but I got Herman,
- 1:29:02Speaker 3: and I'm looking at him, and I'm in here, Mr. Werewolf.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: He's like, shut up. She just said that shit, because
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: evidently they'd been knowing each other since kindergarten or grade school.
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: They stopped talking, and she pointed one. So he told her.
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: He didn't get to tell her everything, because when he
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: got to something's wrong with Herman, what you mean something's
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: wrong with Herman? What's wrong with my baby? She kind
- 1:29:27Speaker 3: of moved him out of the way. She come walking,
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: you know, through the porch and she looked down and
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: she seen me and she kind of looked in for
- 1:29:32Speaker 3: a minute and like, I don't even know who the
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: hell you is. I don't know this lady. I didn't
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: say nothing to her. I didn't say nothing. She comes
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: down and she, you know, she grabbed Herman and she
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: taking Herman, Herman and grabbing him up on her seat
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: and making him look in his face and she's like,
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: oh my God, what did y'all do to my baby?
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: What did y'all do to my baby? Don't nobody leave.
- 1:29:52Speaker 3: I'm calling the police. She started to go back up
- 1:29:57Speaker 3: them steps. I laid Herman back down so that from
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: his butt to the back of his head was on
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: the porch. And I turned around and walked out of
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: her yard. It was like I hit the concrete. Flew
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: up the street. Now, two houses up, there was two
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: women and a dude were sitting on the porch. And
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: I heard one of the ladies say, what is he
- 1:30:19Speaker 3: running for? Okay. You ain't got to worry about that.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: But I ran to the trunk of my car. And yes,
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: in front of God and everybody, I stripped out of
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: them wet underwear and shorts. I put on the ones
- 1:30:30Speaker 3: that I was going to wear on my, and I
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: jumped in my car. And when I left from the curb,
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: my back tires were spinning. When I got down to
- 1:30:40Speaker 3: the stop sign to get on Airline Highway, I didn't
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: even think for it. I pulled right out in the
- 1:30:45Speaker 3: traffic because I almost hit a car and another car
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: almost hit me and dude was honking his horn and stuff. Man, whatever.
- 1:30:53Speaker 3: Flew straight home. I ran inside. I locked my door.
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: I pushed the couch in front of the door, went
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: in the kitchen and got the refrigerator and I plugged
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: it and drug it in the front room and put
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: it in front of the house and plugged it back in.
- 1:31:09Speaker 3: I went in the bedroom and got my bullets down
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: and my speed loaders and loaded them. I set my.
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: 357 on the table and then I grabbed my bottle again.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: I poured two shots trying to calm my nerve and
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: then I started to replay what I had seen And
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: as I was doing that, I said, I need to
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: write this down. I need to write this down. So
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: I started writing it down. It was a whole lot
- 1:31:38Speaker 3: of curse words with question marks behind it. And I'm
- 1:31:44Speaker 3: sitting there and I mean, I'm rattled. I honestly am
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: because after I seen it, now I got this journey
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: to the liquor store. Then we got to leave from
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: the liquor store to go back. This thing is coming
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: back or stalking us. There were several places. In that walk.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: He could have ambushed us. At least ticked off one
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: or two of us at a time. So. I'm sitting there.
- 1:32:09Speaker 3: And I'm just. I'm thinking. And I'm thinking. And I'm
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: thinking like. Monsters are real. Werewolves do exist.
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: Roy.
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: You don't know how lucky. No you wasn't lucky dude.
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: You see. You know, for me anyway, I can't speak
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: for anybody else. But I know something in my head
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: snapped that night. And I even had a period of
- 1:32:41Speaker 3: time where I was mad at my parents. Because I'm like,
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: y'all lied to me. You've been lying to me all
- 1:32:49Speaker 3: these years. You've been telling me monsters don't exist. It
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: just said movies and books and stuff. Ain't no such
- 1:32:57Speaker 3: thing as no real monster. There's nothing under your bed.
- 1:32:59Speaker 3: There's nothing in the closet. There's nothing hiding around the
- 1:33:02Speaker 3: corner of the house. And I paid to take the
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: trash out at 10 o'clock at night so that your
- 1:33:06Speaker 3: garbage man could pick it up in there. He'd been
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: lying to me. But that was rather immature of me
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: because at least I hope they didn't know and were
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: just telling us that. But that's what details somebody when
- 1:33:22Speaker 3: you don't have any proof of what what really exists
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: out there. And when I think about our home, but
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: one thing that really just kept, I kept getting to
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: rewind on is, I was supposed to meet that chick
- 1:33:44Speaker 3: out there and she didn't show up. And the one
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: thing that I didn't tell you is this, When she
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: stood up and she turned her head to look at
- 1:34:03Speaker 3: them thistles, I'm about 99% sure that in her left ear,
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: there was a gold hoop earring. I've seen this bright flash.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: I know what gold looks like when light hits it.
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: If you know you'd be twirling or whatever. Now, there's
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: a 1% chance that it could have been some kind
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: of trash. But I know when that chick came in
- 1:34:27Speaker 3: the store, you know, back in the day, they would
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: wear them big, round earring. Well, in her ear, it
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: looked more like a bracelet. Just for size comparison, it
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: didn't look as big as it would have looked in
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: a human ear. You got breast. And I'm like, oh,
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: the chick was aware. This is a word. That's the
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: only thing I could wrap my mind around at that time,
- 1:34:59Speaker 3: and I've never seen her change. But here's the thing. Now,
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: I'm not saying that I'm special in any type of way.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: I didn't have people cancel dates on me since then.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: Very seldom do they not show up, but at least
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: I might get a text or a phone call. He
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: never called. She never came by because I gave her
- 1:35:23Speaker 3: my telephone number and her And she never came back
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: in the store. And I even gave her a card
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: for the store. We give it to all the customers.
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: You put it in the bag with whatever they bring.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: She never called. He didn't come back to the store,
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: which after that night, I'm glad she didn't come back
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: in the store because of where I was at in
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: my mind. I took my gun to work with me
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: every day after that and took it in the store.
- 1:35:47Speaker 3: If she had a came through that door and I
- 1:35:49Speaker 3: heard that bell, I would have blew her chips out
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: of her back and then reloaded and tried to separate
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: her hair from her body. That's how certain I was
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: that that's who it was that showed up on the
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: railroad track. You're not giving me any information about how
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: to contact you or where you live, but you got
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: my info. So I started, I drunk the majority of
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: that weekend. I didn't even go back outside. I don't
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: even think I got in the shower until the morning
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: while the sun was out. Then I sat down and
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: was drinking, and I think that's the only way I
- 1:36:27Speaker 3: could go to sleep. So that's what I did for
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: the next few days. I didn't even go to work Monday.
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: I called Emma. So when I went in Tuesday, I
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: got my gun, and I'm like, every little noise that
- 1:36:41Speaker 3: I hear, I'm on high alert if I couldn't really recognize.
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: So my boss is like, she had been watching me.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: She's like, were you okay? No, I'm not. She said,
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: what's the matter? Don't want to talk about it. She's like, what?
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: I said, I don't want to talk about it because
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: if I tell you, you ain't going to believe me.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: She's kind of, you know, looked at me like, hmm, okay.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: But she just kept at me. Now, by this time,
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: I really, I was talking with my aunt, but I
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: wouldn't talk to her a lot. I would call and
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: check to make sure we weren't in regular communication. So,
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: My boss just kept after me. I told you no.
- 1:37:31Speaker 3: She said, what's the matter? I don't want to. Just
- 1:37:34Speaker 3: let it go. She was like, well, dang, you called
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: in sick yesterday, but you don't seem like you're sick.
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: I'm like, I was sick. But it was a different
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: kind of sickness. She said, is it contagious? I'm like,
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: if you're seeing what I'm seeing, it is. She just
- 1:37:50Speaker 3: kind of looked at me like, you know, I'm thinking this.
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: A few weeks ago, well, not a little bit more
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: than a month, you hired the same rational person and
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: decided to give him a job that you work, you know,
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: you work the same hours. He meet a girl, go
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: out on a date, and then when you see him again,
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: he's a raving lunatic. I got to get you out
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: of the store. No, you're no longer employed here. You
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: got to go. I don't know what happened to the
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: dude that left Friday. But this dude that showed up
- 1:38:29Speaker 3: to me, they're not wanting to thank me, so I'm
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: trying to keep my mouth shut. But like I said,
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: she stayed on me. It wasn't really that big. She's like, Roy,
- 1:38:39Speaker 3: you can talk to me. So finally, I just got
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: to the point. I said, you know what? I'll tell
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: you what's wrong with me, but I need you to
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: do something first. She said, what? could you go back
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: in the office and get my final paycheck ready? Because
- 1:38:54Speaker 3: I know you're going to fire me once I get there.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: Tell me if you will. She was like, why are
- 1:38:58Speaker 3: you saying that? You're going to fire me when I
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: get there. Tell me if you will. She said, just
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: tell me what happened. So I told her. And she
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: did pretty much the same thing you're doing right now,
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: except for she had her hand up under her. But
- 1:39:15Speaker 3: she stood at the counter, she looked at me, and
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: she was like, That's all she would say. And so
- 1:39:24Speaker 3: when I got done talking, I'm like, okay. And you
- 1:39:26Speaker 3: go get my check ready now. She's like, oh, you
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: seen a loot guru? And I looked, you know, I
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: leaned back and looked around like, had not been listening
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: to what I've been saying. I'm not talking about no
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: dude named loot. Oh. And she kind of smiled. She said,
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: no loot guru. And I'm like, what the hell is that?
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: She said, that is a French werewolf. that girl that
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: came over here, she wasn't free. She said, no, that
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: was a Creole girl. What does that mean? I didn't
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: know none of this. Creole, Cajun, I didn't know nothing
- 1:40:03Speaker 3: about geekies. I didn't know nothing about none of that. So,
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: she's explaining to me. I'm like, well, what is a Lugaroo?
- 1:40:12Speaker 3: She said, well, according to what my grammar told, a
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: Lugaroo is a this French, one of these French immigrants
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: that came over here. One of them was a werewolf.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: And I'm standing there looking at her like, you know,
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: go on. He's like, well, according to what my grandmother
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: told me, one of them bites you, then they pass
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: on this curse to you, and you curse the Rome,
- 1:40:42Speaker 3: spend the remaining time as one of these things, killing
- 1:40:45Speaker 3: people and stuff. But you have to find the one
- 1:40:48Speaker 3: that bit you and kill it in order to break
- 1:40:51Speaker 3: the current. I said, when she said kill, I'm like, okay,
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: hold on a minute, stop right there. So you can
- 1:40:59Speaker 3: kill them? She said, well, what my grandmother told me is, yeah,
- 1:41:03Speaker 3: they can be killed. How do you kill? And I said, wait,
- 1:41:07Speaker 3: I actually got a pencil and a piece of paper.
- 1:41:10Speaker 3: I'm like, how do you kill them? She said, you
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: need some rock salt, some oil, and fire. And I
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: kind of looked up at her like, oh, so you're
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: going to make fun of me now, huh? She said,
- 1:41:20Speaker 3: what are you talking about? I said, I ain't asking
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: for no recipe for no barbecue, werewolf. I want to
- 1:41:27Speaker 3: know how to kill them. She said, we're telling you
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: how you're supposed to be able to kill them. I'm like, okay,
- 1:41:32Speaker 3: but it seems like you're making fun of me now.
- 1:41:34Speaker 3: She said, nope, telling you what my grandmother told me.
- 1:41:38Speaker 3: She said, you take the rock salt and throw it
- 1:41:40Speaker 3: on the little gurus because they're supposed to be hiding
- 1:41:43Speaker 3: their rock salt. Then you got to put the oil
- 1:41:47Speaker 3: on them. And then you set them on fire. I said,
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: that's not going to work for me. And she said, why?
- 1:41:55Speaker 3: I said, just my butt. Throw this rock salt on
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: this thing and get him irritated and he burn it
- 1:42:01Speaker 3: or whatever. Then I get the oil on him. Then
- 1:42:03Speaker 3: I light a match that's going to set him on
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: fire and the wind blow the match out. So now
- 1:42:07Speaker 3: I got to get you three times worse than I
- 1:42:09Speaker 3: was going to put the rock salt on him. That's
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: not going to work for me. She said, you are
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: so funny, you know that? I'm like, I'm telling you
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: with my luck, that's probably the way it's going to happen.
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: I'm like, does silver work on them? He said, well,
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, my grandmother didn't say nothing
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: about silver, but there are other, according to other legends
- 1:42:31Speaker 3: and stuff, that's how you gill a werewolf. He said, so,
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: that really happened to you? I said, I ain't got
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: no reason to lie. She said, so, I ain't going
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: to be watching the news one day and they pull
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: that girl's body out with a mop or find out
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: that she raped her or something like that. I said, rape?
- 1:42:50Speaker 3: I ain't got to rape nobody. And why would I
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: kill her? He didn't even show up. Like, well, you
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: got to understand why I'm asking. I said, no, I
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: don't have to understand why you're asking that. I just
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: told you the guy signed a truth and here you
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: come to me with that I killed her or something
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: like that. I said, but it's okay if you don't
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: believe me. Can you go get my check ready? She said,
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: you're not fired. I'm like, okay. Like I said, I
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: continued to be jumpy. Female customer came to the store.
- 1:43:23Speaker 3: Can you help her? I'll take over. Can you go
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: help her? She was like, so now you're scared of
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: all women. I'm like, no, I ain't scared of all women,
- 1:43:30Speaker 3: but right now I want to keep my contact with
- 1:43:32Speaker 3: females down to them. Can you go and help her?
- 1:43:35Speaker 3: She would do that. That night, that that happened to
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: me was July 9th, 1980. There was not a full moon.
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: You can go back and look at the chart. There
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: was not a full moon. That's why I was so
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: freaking black out there. I had to learn how to
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: think about things. Because that opened the door in my
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: head to, it's possible. As long as you're willing to
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: admit to yourself that it's possible, no matter how crazy
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: or far-fetched you may seem, just leave that door cracked to,
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: it's possible. Because we don't know everything that's possible or
- 1:44:30Speaker 3: not possible. I mean, if you talk to some scientists,
- 1:44:34Speaker 3: when it comes to talking about magic, some scientists will
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: tell you magic is just a different type of science.
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: all right, I'm willing to go with that. But for
- 1:44:48Speaker 3: what I knew in my life at that time, you
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: don't learn how to think about things, hold perspective until
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: you get older and you get experience. So in my mind,
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: I've seen a werewolf. But then you got to think
- 1:45:09Speaker 3: about the the forks that lead off that path to
- 1:45:13Speaker 3: what could have happened or what possibly could happen to
- 1:45:16Speaker 3: you a little bit later than I thought. I don't know.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: I mean, I had to sit and think about it
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: because it's a possibility. What if Herman was the one
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: that was supposed to lead me down the railroad to
- 1:45:31Speaker 3: have that encounter? What if one of the other dudes
- 1:45:34Speaker 3: was in cahoots with that guy to lead me down there?
- 1:45:39Speaker 3: What if my boss, knowing I got one relative in
- 1:45:44Speaker 3: the state, and I stay by myself now. He wasn't
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: checking on me on a regular basis. So her and
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: old girl could have been, you know, she could have
- 1:45:53Speaker 3: called her when I got hired and been like, hey,
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: I got some fresh meat for you. You need to
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: come by here next week and check him out. She
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: could have been. I had to accept that that was
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: a possibility that she, my boss, because she was so
- 1:46:08Speaker 3: calm when I was telling her. She didn't act surprised
- 1:46:10Speaker 3: or nothing. So doing that and then thinking about everything
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: else that I started to learn because I actually started
- 1:46:18Speaker 3: going to the library. I'm checking out and I'm looking
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: for anything I could find on Werewolf. Of course, during
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: those times, it was a lot of information, but you
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: could get books on witchcraft and demonology. So I even
- 1:46:32Speaker 3: had a librarian ask, are you turning on doing a
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: spell on somebody, or are you a warlock? And I
- 1:46:40Speaker 3: looked at her, I said, no, I'm just doing a
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: paper for school. I'm writing one of my term papers.
- 1:46:46Speaker 3: She's like, oh, okay. Because I noticed that. I'm like,
- 1:46:48Speaker 3: why can't you do what I'm checking out in the library?
- 1:46:52Speaker 3: She's like, well, it's my job. I said, no, your
- 1:46:54Speaker 3: job is to check your books out. It's all your job.
- 1:46:57Speaker 3: You ain't seen what we were, but I would be
- 1:46:59Speaker 3: in the library for hours in the back, and I
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: got books piled up like you see on TV, and
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: I'm reading. taking notes and stuff. My grades at school
- 1:47:08Speaker 3: started to suffer. I almost got kicked off the football
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: team because when we're having an away game and we're
- 1:47:14Speaker 3: playing at night, I spend more time scanning the crowd
- 1:47:17Speaker 3: or looking up under the bleachers and my coach is like,
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: what are you doing? Get your head in the game.
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: You're supposed to be out there. And I'm like, oh,
- 1:47:24Speaker 3: I'm sorry, coach. Sorry. He asked me, dude, you okay? Nah,
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: I ain't okay. What's the matter with you? I said,
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: I'm just having some personal problems. Well, you know you
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: can talk to me. Not about this, I can't. So
- 1:47:37Speaker 3: what I had to do, what I didn't have to,
- 1:47:39Speaker 3: but my escape was the following. I get off of work,
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: I go home, I lock the door, barricade it, and
- 1:47:48Speaker 3: then I get my Jack Daniels green label down and
- 1:47:50Speaker 3: I start drinking. That's the only way I could go
- 1:47:52Speaker 3: to sleep because the nightmarish that I was having after
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: that is facing me down a railroad track and I
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: could feel her breath on my neck and then to
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: actually have a dream where you feel some stickiest hand
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: in your back above your waist and rip your spinal
- 1:48:06Speaker 3: column out or just grab you like a dog, grab
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: a cheap toy and start shaking you and stuff and
- 1:48:10Speaker 3: then just pulling you. Just a horrible night. I wouldn't
- 1:48:14Speaker 3: even turn the lights out. That went on for years.
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: Up until 2020, I was still sleeping with my lamp on.
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: I would not, if the only time that light went out,
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: when the bulb burnt out, that was it. And I
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: quickly replaced the bulb and it stayed on because if
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: something come in the house, I'm going to be able
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: to see exactly what I'm shooting so I can make
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: my bullet place in the channel. But The drinking is just...
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: One morning, I was on my way to work. Almost
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: rear-ended a lady because I was trying to reach in
- 1:48:52Speaker 3: the back into my little gym bag to get my
- 1:48:55Speaker 3: flasks jacked down. I'm on my way to work. You know,
- 1:49:00Speaker 3: when I found it and I turned and look, I
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: had to pretty much stand up on the brakes with
- 1:49:03Speaker 3: both feet to keep from hitting that lady. And I
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: pulled over and I'm like, okay, dude. got to get
- 1:49:11Speaker 3: a rock on this. Now you starting to drink before
- 1:49:14Speaker 3: you go to work is bad enough you drinking at
- 1:49:16Speaker 3: lunchtime or as soon as you get off work. Now
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: you got to have a drink before you go to work.
- 1:49:21Speaker 3: You got a problem. And you're not going to find
- 1:49:25Speaker 3: any answers in the bottom of them bottles. So I
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: called my brother and told him what happened. One of
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: my brothers, my second oldest brother, D was like I
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: believe you've seen something. I don't know exactly what it was.
- 1:49:43Speaker 3: He said, but do you need to come home? I'm like,
- 1:49:47Speaker 3: I'm not ready to come home. He said, you need
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: to come home. I'm like, I'm not ready to come home.
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: I got to figure out a way. What's going on?
- 1:49:55Speaker 3: He's like, what? I'm like, I'm not going to be
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: able to rest in peace or do anything until I
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: find out if that shit was that thing. He's like, well,
- 1:50:05Speaker 3: you ain't never seen her again. I'm like, I'm just
- 1:50:07Speaker 3: biding my time. He's like, so you're going to spend
- 1:50:09Speaker 3: your whole life? I'm like, that's what it takes. I
- 1:50:11Speaker 3: was like, dude, you don't understand what I mean. He said, well,
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: I'm going to try to help you put this in
- 1:50:18Speaker 3: a place to where you'll be able to at least
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: halfway function normally. Because I wasn't dating. If it's starting
- 1:50:24Speaker 3: to get dark, I'm on my way out. I'm on
- 1:50:28Speaker 3: my way back to the house. I'm not, you know, no, no.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: When that stuff started to sink, I'm like, You know,
- 1:50:34Speaker 3: some of the dudes on the football team, you're like, well, man,
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: we having a party tonight. Have a good time. You're
- 1:50:39Speaker 3: not going, Roy? Hell no. Why not? I got to
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: be in the house when it get dark. Wait a minute, what?
- 1:50:45Speaker 3: I got to be inside when it get dark. That
- 1:50:49Speaker 3: was okay for me because I didn't tell them what
- 1:50:52Speaker 3: happened to me and I never did. It's just, I
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: need to get home to my bottle and my gun.
- 1:50:59Speaker 3: That's all I needed in my life. My brother taught
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: me how to meditate. It was rough at first because
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: closing my eyes, I would see that face. So it
- 1:51:14Speaker 3: took a while for me to do. But when I did,
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: and I felt like I had control of me again,
- 1:51:23Speaker 3: at least my psyche, I gave it a little $ 30 funeral,
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: put it in a box, and I put it in
- 1:51:30Speaker 3: that closet in the back of my head. I don't
- 1:51:32Speaker 3: worry about it. So I did move back to Nebraska,
- 1:51:41Speaker 3: and I felt like I got out of it because
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: I know my surroundings in Nebraska. I've been to all
- 1:51:50Speaker 3: these different places, do a lot of fishing with my
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: brother and stuff. So I'm like, okay, you good. Of course,
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: within the last year or so, I found out that
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: You got Bigfoot, Dogman, Crawlers, and some other stuff running
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: around in Nebraska. Less than 90 minutes away from where
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: I grew up. So it just made me think, how
- 1:52:12Speaker 3: many times you go fishing down on the Missouri River,
- 1:52:15Speaker 3: walk through these trees and stuff like that, and you
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: could have been being white. Or a few times we
- 1:52:21Speaker 3: went to a farm pond in Iowa where we out
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: there in the meadowlarks and the redweed, blackbird, and sea,
- 1:52:27Speaker 3: and then it just get quiet. And I'm looking at
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: my brother like, you hear that? He's like, hear what? Exactly.
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: But I never even told that particular brother because that
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: was my oldest brother. I never told him what happened
- 1:52:38Speaker 3: to my family. I knew what they would have did. Oh,
- 1:52:42Speaker 3: you're crazy. You went down there and lost your mind
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: or you lie. I only told one of my brothers.
- 1:52:47Speaker 3: I actually didn't tell my father until he was on
- 1:52:51Speaker 3: his deathbed. And he told me he believed. So I
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: reached out to Vic Condis. Because I wasn't thinking about
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: cryptids that day. That was the first thing that came
- 1:53:10Speaker 3: to my mind. I was listening to some music on
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: YouTube and he showed us, actually, Sasquatch Chronicles came up
- 1:53:15Speaker 3: in my view. And I'm like, Sasquatch? I know that man.
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: What is that? So I went and listened to it. Actually,
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: a guy got to show up by talking about Bigfoot,
- 1:53:24Speaker 3: but he had a dude on there talking about he
- 1:53:26Speaker 3: seen a dog, man. I'm like, a dog, man? What
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: the hell is that? So I started doing some research
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: and then I ran across the Bigfoot channel and I
- 1:53:36Speaker 3: started listening to that. And that's basically what he talks about.
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: He's branched out now to Bigfoot. But I sent him
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: an email and he got back to me. And we
- 1:53:44Speaker 3: actually had four conversations before I agreed to let him
- 1:53:51Speaker 3: record it. Because I just wanted to get some answers.
- 1:53:54Speaker 3: And I told him what happened to him. He's like,
- 1:53:57Speaker 3: I've never heard anything like that in my life. I'm like,
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: I wish I had only heard about it rather than live.
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: I did that, and people seemed to take great enjoyment
- 1:54:12Speaker 3: out of my care, but everybody sent kind words just
- 1:54:16Speaker 3: like that, and they just tell me, you know, man,
- 1:54:19Speaker 3: I believe you, and I'm like, well, thank you. He
- 1:54:22Speaker 3: didn't come on for people to believe me. I needed
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: this for a type of therapy because you cherish something
- 1:54:28Speaker 3: with you long enough, it will start to poison. And
- 1:54:32Speaker 3: I needed to get it out of my system, so
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: that helped a lot. But I will say this. I
- 1:54:42Speaker 3: really appreciate what Vic did. Every now and again, I
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: kind of curse him just a little bit. Like, dang, Vic,
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: why did you have to tell them people about me?
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: Don't refer to the travel channel. For the people that
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: I've read their comments, because I actually went down to
- 1:55:00Speaker 3: the comments section and interacted with people. I answered whatever
- 1:55:04Speaker 3: questions that they had. And they were like, no other
- 1:55:06Speaker 3: guest has ever done that. I'm like, well, I figure
- 1:55:08Speaker 3: if you ask me a question, at least I can
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: do it. As long as you're not being, you know, everybody.
- 1:55:17Speaker 3: The last notification I got, there was almost 300,000 people
- 1:55:21Speaker 3: that logged my encounter as their favorite episode. And I'm like,
- 1:55:29Speaker 3: I don't know how to feel about that. I mean,
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: I'm not displeased with it, but I'm not pleased with
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: it at the same time because like I said, you're
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: taking the enjoyment out of my terror, but I appreciate
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: all the kind words that everybody shared with me. And
- 1:55:50Speaker 3: the support that they've given me, it's been great because
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: I couldn't get that At the time that this happened.
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: So I do know that there are some people. That
- 1:56:01Speaker 3: generally you know. Care about the. Encounter survivors. That have
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: to go through these things.
- 1:56:08Speaker 4: But.
- 1:56:09Speaker 3: Do I wish this on anybody? Not even my worst enemy. Because.
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: Your life is not the same. It changes to. A
- 1:56:21Speaker 3: certain degree. I mean it's like. You got a dirty
- 1:56:25Speaker 3: little secret. You can't tell because you know how, you know,
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: your friends or your family will react to it and
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: be like, oh, you know, we didn't know that you
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: was doing this and that's shame on you or something
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: like that. Or they just kind of ostracize you and
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: you're not, you know, you get kicked out of the clique.
- 1:56:45Speaker 3: So it felt good to get it off my chest.
- 1:56:51Speaker 3: The things that I found out since then about the
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: cryptids and I'm not even going to talk about the
- 1:56:59Speaker 3: cryptic community, so we just going to stick to the cryptic.
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: But I just want people to be careful. Keep your
- 1:57:06Speaker 3: head on a swivel because if you don't, you don't
- 1:57:18Speaker 3: have to be in the woods for one of these
- 1:57:20Speaker 3: things to come up, do something to you or try
- 1:57:24Speaker 3: to do something. Hopefully, they just will look at you.
- 1:57:31Speaker 3: You know, I shared some stuff with you. We got
- 1:57:33Speaker 3: enough time to talk about that. We're going into that,
- 1:57:37Speaker 3: but it was just terrible how people just, you know,
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: have lost their primordial instinct to think that, okay, I'm
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: in the city just loudly dying. Ain't nothing going to
- 1:57:51Speaker 3: happen to me. There's nothing, you know, like that roaming around,
- 1:57:56Speaker 3: and yet there are people that are experiencing this every day.
- 1:57:59Speaker 3: The one thing that keeps their head on a swivel,
- 1:58:02Speaker 3: and I understand that. Don't be so arrogant to think
- 1:58:06Speaker 3: that just because you were in the city that there's
- 1:58:10Speaker 3: nothing living in the city, which if you got any
- 1:58:14Speaker 3: type of wooded areas or sewer systems or canal system,
- 1:58:19Speaker 3: your town. That's pretty much what happened to me. I'll just...
- 1:58:30Speaker 3: Just glad now that my life is calming down. Well,
- 1:58:42Speaker 3: when I say my life, I'm not talking about my
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: everyday life. I'm talking about more of my spiritual life.
- 1:58:48Speaker 3: The comfort that I'm feeling now knowing, okay, I'm in
- 1:58:51Speaker 3: the city and where I live at, they're around here.
- 1:58:57Speaker 3: They can only come at me from three different directions,
- 1:58:59Speaker 3: but I don't know. I don't know where they're coming from.
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: I'm lucky that I haven't seen anything. If you got
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: any questions. So you haven't. I'm sorry.
- 1:59:11Speaker 2: Yes, I do.
- 1:59:12Speaker 3: No.
- 1:59:13Speaker 1: So I wanted to ask, I guess everybody wants to know,
- 1:59:17Speaker 1: have you ever gone back?
- 1:59:18Speaker 2: Have you seen Herman? Have you seen this girl again?
- 1:59:20Speaker 3: I've never seen a girl. I did go back to
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: Louisiana in 1988. It wasn't a good experience for me.
- 1:59:35Speaker 3: I spent too much time looking back rather than looking forward.
- 1:59:44Speaker 3: But I never went back out to Medellin. I tried
- 1:59:49Speaker 3: three times and I would only get to Carrollton and
- 1:59:55Speaker 3: to Lane and then you come across the overpass and
- 1:59:58Speaker 3: it turns into Airline Highway. I think I made it
- 2:00:01Speaker 3: a half a mile. And I'm like, what? You know,
- 2:00:06Speaker 3: my grandmother told me a long time. If you find
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: yourself in a situation and you get in trouble a lot,
- 2:00:13Speaker 3: don't take your fool ass back. So I've been asked,
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: why didn't you go back and check on her? Hold on, waiters.
- 2:00:29Speaker 3: I met this dude by chance at the basketball. Played basketball,
- 2:00:36Speaker 3: and I'm thinking, okay, maybe I found some guys I
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: can throw him at. I got him home. If I
- 2:00:45Speaker 3: owed him anything, I paid the debt. I got him home.
- 2:00:52Speaker 3: Now I got to worry about my black high court.
- 2:00:55Speaker 3: I done seen a monster, and I think it was
- 2:00:56Speaker 3: a dick that I was supposed to meet that aren't.
- 2:01:00Speaker 3: I'm going back into her territory for any reason at all.
- 2:01:03Speaker 3: And I actually had a guy comment and say that
- 2:01:08Speaker 3: I made my story up because I didn't go and
- 2:01:10Speaker 3: check on her. Okay, you may see somebody on the
- 2:01:14Speaker 3: side of the road that got a flat tire. If
- 2:01:16Speaker 3: you're nice enough to stop and help, once they get
- 2:01:18Speaker 3: that flat tire fixed, you go by their house to
- 2:01:21Speaker 3: make sure they got it. No, you help them at
- 2:01:25Speaker 3: that spot when they need help, and then you're going
- 2:01:27Speaker 3: to boss them around. That's how I looked at it. Plus, again,
- 2:01:31Speaker 3: I'm young. I just seen a world of better in Louisiana.
- 2:01:36Speaker 3: I'm not going back at 9 a.m. I'm not. Now,
- 2:01:39Speaker 3: the reason I left when I did and the way
- 2:01:43Speaker 3: I did is because I had that. 357 in my trunk.
- 2:01:49Speaker 3: I bought that from a guy on the street. Even
- 2:01:52Speaker 3: though he assured me I never accused anybody with these guns.
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: I didn't rob the bank or throw over these guns.
- 2:01:59Speaker 3: Now I can't show the law of possession. With the
- 2:02:05Speaker 3: state that Herman was in, his mom calling the police,
- 2:02:09Speaker 3: when they come, and they'd be like, well, we just
- 2:02:12Speaker 3: met this guy tonight. Now, if you observe him, you're
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: going to figure under influence of some type of drug
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: or alcohol. They want to know if you give him
- 2:02:27Speaker 3: some hallucinogenic or something like that, You want to know
- 2:02:30Speaker 3: where he got it from. To the best of my knowledge,
- 2:02:33Speaker 3: I was the only one that had a car, and
- 2:02:34Speaker 3: the first thing they're going to do is search my car.
- 2:02:37Speaker 3: You find that gun, then kind of find out, ballistic,
- 2:02:40Speaker 3: and that didn't scratch your eye, but somebody killed. I
- 2:02:44Speaker 3: got this gun. Now, I can sell all possessions. We're
- 2:02:49Speaker 3: taking you to jail because we're going to put this
- 2:02:51Speaker 3: crime on you, especially with me being young and black. Now,
- 2:02:56Speaker 3: I'll take two passes on that. I don't even want
- 2:02:58Speaker 3: to get a rank check. I'm just taking a few passes.
- 2:03:00Speaker 3: I don't want to go through it. So that was
- 2:03:02Speaker 3: part of the reason why I left, but just a
- 2:03:04Speaker 3: small part. But....
- 2:03:10Speaker 1: So I wonder if he ever got to speaking again,
- 2:03:12Speaker 1: because you said he wasn't speaking.
- 2:03:14Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 2:03:15Speaker 1: And he was about to have a baby, and he
- 2:03:18Speaker 1: didn't want to be like his dad.
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: Right. Right? Wow. After I went on video the first time,
- 2:03:29Speaker 3: I reached out to my cousin in Texas and I
- 2:03:33Speaker 3: told him what happened and I actually had him listen
- 2:03:35Speaker 3: to my account. And when they say God works in
- 2:03:40Speaker 3: mysterious ways, I'm a firm believer because my cousin's girlfriend,
- 2:03:48Speaker 3: I actually think that he was playing with what he said.
- 2:03:51Speaker 3: But he said, well, you know, me could see dead people.
- 2:03:56Speaker 3: She seen grandmother and she seen mom because his mom
- 2:04:01Speaker 3: had passed away the year before in 2019 he seen
- 2:04:06Speaker 3: mom baby standing in the kitchen now he don't have
- 2:04:10Speaker 3: any pictures of his grandma no and but he she
- 2:04:16Speaker 3: described her to which the way she wear her glasses
- 2:04:20Speaker 3: and her little she used to have on the little
- 2:04:22Speaker 3: classic bag on her head and he had her favorite
- 2:04:25Speaker 3: house dress he could describe her I said but Mika
- 2:04:30Speaker 3: ain't never met grandmother. He's like, I know, cuz, so
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: tell me about what's up with that. So, but Mika,
- 2:04:36Speaker 3: I think, has a photographic memory, too, because she knows
- 2:04:39Speaker 3: more than 10,000 people. And she can tell you their names.
- 2:04:44Speaker 3: And I'm like, how the hell do you remember all
- 2:04:45Speaker 3: them people? He's like, I don't know. I've always known them.
- 2:04:48Speaker 3: They do it well. But she knows so many people,
- 2:04:51Speaker 3: they was listening to my encounter, so she put their
- 2:04:54Speaker 3: word out in Texas. I'm not just talking about the
- 2:04:58Speaker 3: Dallas World War. I'm talking about it. And lo and behold,
- 2:05:05Speaker 3: one of her friends from Houston reached out to her
- 2:05:08Speaker 3: and told her she thinks she knows who I'm talking,
- 2:05:15Speaker 3: who she was looking for. She said she was looking
- 2:05:17Speaker 3: for a dude that would have been about our age
- 2:05:21Speaker 3: with a white spot in his head. We're trying to
- 2:05:23Speaker 3: find out that this girl's cousin, friend, was dating and
- 2:05:28Speaker 3: he got a picture of him and his dad and
- 2:05:31Speaker 3: he got his white spot. I'm like, well, I'm asking
- 2:05:36Speaker 3: if his name is Herman or if he went by Herman.
- 2:05:39Speaker 3: I'm like, oh, yes. I'm like, I want to talk
- 2:05:43Speaker 3: to you. So they put us in contact, come to
- 2:05:47Speaker 3: find out it's Herman's son. And I'm like, no way. No, yeah,
- 2:05:57Speaker 3: no way. Now, I don't want to disrespect this young man,
- 2:06:02Speaker 3: but I'm going to say I don't ever want to
- 2:06:04Speaker 3: talk to him again. I've had three conversations with him.
- 2:06:11Speaker 3: He called me every day what a child's job. He
- 2:06:14Speaker 3: blames me and the rest of them dudes for giving
- 2:06:18Speaker 3: his father something that not very good, that robbed him
- 2:06:22Speaker 3: from having a normal childhood with his father Herman was
- 2:06:28Speaker 3: afraid of the dark. He was definitely afraid of railroad tracks.
- 2:06:33Speaker 3: He would have moments where he was loosey. But if
- 2:06:38Speaker 3: you're going to go over the railroad tracks, if you're
- 2:06:40Speaker 3: sitting on the passenger side, he'd immediately slide over to
- 2:06:42Speaker 3: the middle of the car and start screaming, get me
- 2:06:44Speaker 3: off these railroad tracks, get me off these railroad tracks.
- 2:06:47Speaker 3: Going to the movie, it got to the point of where,
- 2:06:50Speaker 3: because he said Herman passed away when he was seven,
- 2:06:56Speaker 3: almost eight. He had a heart. One night. No. He
- 2:07:01Speaker 3: was never allowed to be alone with his son. He
- 2:07:04Speaker 3: always had to be supervised by his mom or his
- 2:07:11Speaker 3: mother or his son's mother's mother. But he was never
- 2:07:15Speaker 3: allowed to be alone with him because they never knew
- 2:07:17Speaker 3: when he was snapped. Because there was time they let
- 2:07:19Speaker 3: him take him to the park. And Herman would run
- 2:07:22Speaker 3: off from the park and run home and leave his
- 2:07:26Speaker 3: son at the park. So I understand his frustration, but
- 2:07:33Speaker 3: where he's placing his blame, he's wrong. And the last
- 2:07:36Speaker 3: conversation I had with him, I told him, I'm going
- 2:07:40Speaker 3: to take you a trip down to East Texas because
- 2:07:43Speaker 3: he doesn't believe in Darwin, Werbel, Barron, none of that.
- 2:07:47Speaker 3: He doesn't. You know, we're not crazy. I don't just
- 2:07:50Speaker 3: tell me what you give to my dad, you know,
- 2:07:52Speaker 3: give you something. You need to answer on me so
- 2:07:55Speaker 3: I can close that chapter. And I'm like, do not
- 2:07:57Speaker 3: do that. I just met him that day. And you're
- 2:08:00Speaker 3: trying to tell me that I've seen a werewolf. That's
- 2:08:02Speaker 3: what I'm telling you. You're a lie. You're a bald-faced lie, dude.
- 2:08:05Speaker 3: Of course, you need more color. Mind which, but. I'm like, okay.
- 2:08:11Speaker 3: You're allowed to believe whatever you want to believe. Tell
- 2:08:14Speaker 3: me where you at. I need to come and see you.
- 2:08:16Speaker 3: And I'm like, no, you don't want to do that.
- 2:08:19Speaker 3: Because that ain't going to end with. So what I'm
- 2:08:23Speaker 3: going to do is I'm going to pray for you.
- 2:08:28Speaker 3: Hope that maybe one day you'll find your peace in
- 2:08:32Speaker 3: whatever form you need to find it in. But no,
- 2:08:34Speaker 3: we don't need to meet face to face because that's
- 2:08:37Speaker 3: not going to end with. I really feel for him.
- 2:08:41Speaker 3: With Herman not ever being 100% again to who he
- 2:08:47Speaker 3: was when I met him. I don't know what that
- 2:08:50Speaker 3: thing was doing. It was looking in his eye. I
- 2:08:53Speaker 3: don't know if it was feeding on his soul. If
- 2:08:55Speaker 3: it was... I don't know what it was doing. I
- 2:08:59Speaker 3: don't know because of what it was, what he thought
- 2:09:03Speaker 3: that close. If his mind just snapped and went into
- 2:09:06Speaker 3: protection mode and just shut down. I could understand why
- 2:09:11Speaker 3: I would because I know my mind snapped by seeing
- 2:09:16Speaker 3: something that big and just knowing that you're nothing more
- 2:09:24Speaker 3: than prey. That, you know, I understand how a deer
- 2:09:28Speaker 3: feels now, or the rabbit feels, or the mouse feels.
- 2:09:31Speaker 3: I understand that. It's not a deer feel. Without modern
- 2:09:39Speaker 3: technology with weapons and stuff like that, that's what we
- 2:09:43Speaker 3: are if we're in the woods. We're nothing but prey. So,
- 2:09:52Speaker 3: it's just I really wish I didn't have some of
- 2:09:57Speaker 3: the questions that I have but fortunately they still exist
- 2:10:03Speaker 3: and I would like to know if she was that
- 2:10:06Speaker 3: thing and what her intention was was you having Roy
- 2:10:11Speaker 3: Tartar that night or did you have some kind of
- 2:10:17Speaker 3: other purpose to be there, and I was told by
- 2:10:21Speaker 3: a guy, and we had a conversation about this. Oh, my.
- 2:10:27Speaker 3: I'm sorry. The dude told me that she didn't show
- 2:10:34Speaker 3: up to me. He showed up to tango me because
- 2:10:38Speaker 3: she was looking for a mate. Evidently fit the grocery
- 2:10:43Speaker 3: list for mates that she had made up. I guess
- 2:10:46Speaker 3: Friday morning or whatever, I guess I I'll shit that
- 2:10:49Speaker 3: leash then. It's a possibility. It is. I don't know
- 2:10:57Speaker 3: what that kind of life would have been like. I
- 2:11:00Speaker 3: don't know if I would have wanted to live it
- 2:11:02Speaker 3: or if that would have been living my best life.
- 2:11:05Speaker 3: But he said that she was confused by the smells
- 2:11:10Speaker 3: that Herman was giving off because he was already scared,
- 2:11:13Speaker 3: but he was confused too and evidently confused he has
- 2:11:16Speaker 3: a thing. something like the most male. So she was
- 2:11:19Speaker 3: focused on him trying to figure out what was going
- 2:11:21Speaker 3: on with him. He's giving off both of these males.
- 2:11:24Speaker 3: She understood the fear. And I'm like, okay, dude, whatever.
- 2:11:31Speaker 3: I've talked to quite a few people since 2020 to
- 2:11:36Speaker 3: hear about dog men, werewolves. I don't know. I don't know.
- 2:11:47Speaker 3: I just don't know what to make of all of it.
- 2:11:56Speaker 3: I can as far as research, but you also have
- 2:11:58Speaker 3: a filthy dose of common sense. I try to use
- 2:12:01Speaker 3: always not just the cryptic world, but life's thing. That's
- 2:12:16Speaker 3: Just to see something that big. That earring. That just.
- 2:12:24Speaker 3: It's going to always be a question. What I'm hoping is.
- 2:12:29Speaker 3: Don't ever tune in to none of these podcasts. They
- 2:12:34Speaker 3: hear me talking about her. And then come to Arizona. Well,
- 2:12:40Speaker 3: I'll let you get a little bit older. Be a
- 2:12:43Speaker 3: little bit more tender. got a bad knee, you can't
- 2:12:47Speaker 3: run now. You know, I don't know. I've talked to
- 2:12:55Speaker 3: some people that just had some encounters and I've actually
- 2:12:58Speaker 3: talked to a guy recently. He told me about his encounter.
- 2:13:04Speaker 3: I understand the fear. It It's not good in any
- 2:13:15Speaker 3: way to be afraid to go outside your house, even
- 2:13:18Speaker 3: if you're in a car. Not a good feeling, and
- 2:13:22Speaker 3: I had to live through that for some years. You know,
- 2:13:28Speaker 3: when I'm still in Louisiana, I had some guys, man,
- 2:13:31Speaker 3: I got somebody I want you to meet. Oh, yeah,
- 2:13:34Speaker 3: who is it? Well, it's this girl, man. No, thank you. No,
- 2:13:39Speaker 3: thank you. Well, wait a minute, man. You know, I
- 2:13:42Speaker 3: think that y'all be a good match. Tell to them all, no, no, no, no,
- 2:13:47Speaker 3: I'm not interested. Then actually, you know, my teammates would
- 2:13:50Speaker 3: start talking about, are you gay? I'm like, no, I'm
- 2:13:53Speaker 3: not gay. Well, we don't see you trying to isolate
- 2:13:56Speaker 3: none of the girls and nothing like that. I'm like,
- 2:13:58Speaker 3: I'm not interested. What you mean? I'm like, I'm trying
- 2:14:01Speaker 3: to get school out of the way first. I've got
- 2:14:03Speaker 3: to wear my life to a world where I grew up.
- 2:14:04Speaker 3: I wouldn't play it off like that. I'm not going
- 2:14:06Speaker 3: to tell you. Yeah, I'll go out on a date
- 2:14:09Speaker 3: with her, but I want you to come with me
- 2:14:12Speaker 3: or If she sprawled fangs and fur, it's going to
- 2:14:17Speaker 3: be near her. I just would tell them I'm not interested.
- 2:14:21Speaker 3: And I'm not going to say that it made me lonely.
- 2:14:25Speaker 3: Because I had my nightmares and Judd Daniels. It's always mine.
- 2:14:31Speaker 3: But I was a liar. You can't let it hold
- 2:14:38Speaker 3: you prisoner. There's other people that have what I call
- 2:14:43Speaker 3: that it factor. Policemen, even policemen get afraid. Firefighters, soldiers,
- 2:14:50Speaker 3: you'll go to another country and fight somebody. No, they
- 2:14:54Speaker 3: got bombs, missiles, they got a gun shooting back and
- 2:14:56Speaker 3: you still achieve the goal. You got that it factor.
- 2:14:59Speaker 3: But even some soldiers come back with PTS because of
- 2:15:02Speaker 3: what they seem to have to go through. Yep. Yep.
- 2:15:09Speaker 1: So the creature that you saw compared to the werewolves
- 2:15:13Speaker 1: that media or movies or books. Is that the same
- 2:15:20Speaker 1: as what you saw or what did the werewolf you
- 2:15:24Speaker 1: saw look different from what we consider a werewolf?
- 2:15:30Speaker 3: For the most part, he looked like. classical werewolf. I'm
- 2:15:36Speaker 3: not going to say the Van Helsing one or the
- 2:15:38Speaker 3: one off of Dog Soldiers, but I've always said, and
- 2:15:42Speaker 3: people get it wrong, when I say the ears were
- 2:15:45Speaker 3: on the side of her head, I'm talking about the
- 2:15:48Speaker 3: side of her head like your ears and my ears are.
- 2:15:53Speaker 2: Like where my headphones are?
- 2:15:55Speaker 3: Yes, like that.
- 2:15:56Speaker 1: So her ears are like.
- 2:15:58Speaker 3: No, think about Mr. Spock's ears. But that long point,
- 2:16:05Speaker 3: they actually came up above her head. Now, I had
- 2:16:08Speaker 3: a guy do it. I had a guy do it. Well,
- 2:16:11Speaker 3: her head was, like I said, 24, 26 inches wide.
- 2:16:19Speaker 2: That's pretty big.
- 2:16:20Speaker 3: And her chest, from going from her chest, I got
- 2:16:23Speaker 3: a 55-gallon tank, and that's 48 inches. She was about
- 2:16:27Speaker 3: 45 inches wide. And I had never heard a female
- 2:16:34Speaker 3: being described like that. They're usually smaller. If there was
- 2:16:39Speaker 3: a male running around, oh, I don't even want to
- 2:16:42Speaker 3: think of him to mention. That's what I saw. And
- 2:16:46Speaker 3: I had a guy, he actually, he drew it based
- 2:16:49Speaker 3: on litching to my counter, but he still put the
- 2:16:52Speaker 3: classical dog ear on it. And I told him, I'm like, no,
- 2:16:56Speaker 3: her ears are on the side of her head. Now,
- 2:16:58Speaker 3: when she turned her head, that's why I was able
- 2:17:00Speaker 3: to see it. So that would be the only difference.
- 2:17:07Speaker 2: So was her ear facing, let me see, out like that?
- 2:17:11Speaker 3: No, just flat. Just flat against the side of her ear. Yes,
- 2:17:16Speaker 3: like that. And then going up. But like I said,
- 2:17:19Speaker 3: when she was, the silhouette I seen, I could see
- 2:17:22Speaker 3: her ears sticking up. But it was like, not not
- 2:17:28Speaker 3: wide the triangle formation of a dog but just that
- 2:17:31Speaker 3: single thing and i'm looking that's why i'm like i'm
- 2:17:34Speaker 3: looking at a dog but you know if a dog
- 2:17:36Speaker 3: swirled his ear a certain way it'll make him look
- 2:17:38Speaker 3: like that but when she turned her head that's when
- 2:17:41Speaker 3: i really got looking at her and like i said
- 2:17:43Speaker 3: she had muscles on top of muscles, but that blackness,
- 2:17:49Speaker 3: I mean, that, I've never seen anything that black as you.
- 2:18:00Speaker 3: I mean, I just haven't, and to know that that
- 2:18:07Speaker 3: thing is running around Louisiana, or had been or still
- 2:18:12Speaker 3: there or not, but just to think about her running
- 2:18:14Speaker 3: around down there. I don't know if she's killing people
- 2:18:19Speaker 3: or not killing people or she found her a mate
- 2:18:25Speaker 3: on her own. I don't know. I don't even think
- 2:18:27Speaker 3: I want to know.
- 2:18:33Speaker 1: So if your boss knew of this loop guru loop
- 2:18:37Speaker 1: guru loop guru.
- 2:18:40Speaker 2: There must be legends in Louisiana about these werewolves.
- 2:18:46Speaker 3: Yes, ma'am. I did some.
- 2:18:51Speaker 6: Covert research, I guess, is the best way to put it,
- 2:18:55Speaker 6: because I would go out sometime in the daytime, because,
- 2:18:59Speaker 6: of course, I had to go get groceries and stuff
- 2:19:01Speaker 6: like that, put gas in my car.
- 2:19:03Speaker 3: And I would go down in the French Quarter and
- 2:19:07Speaker 3: have breakfast, a couple of restaurants. or I'd be at
- 2:19:12Speaker 3: the park, and I would sit, and I probably have
- 2:19:16Speaker 3: a book with me, so I'm not bothering anybody. I
- 2:19:19Speaker 3: have one of my books on demonology or witchcraft, and
- 2:19:22Speaker 3: I'll be reading. But I'd hear somebody talking, and even
- 2:19:27Speaker 3: though it looked like I'm reading a book, I'm not
- 2:19:30Speaker 3: reading a merry word on this tape. I'm ear hustling
- 2:19:33Speaker 3: to listen to what they were saying. So what I
- 2:19:36Speaker 3: found is, at that time, I don't know if it's
- 2:19:39Speaker 3: still true today, The cages in the Creole, even some
- 2:19:44Speaker 3: of the black people you talk to, if you just
- 2:19:45Speaker 3: walk up to them and ask, hey, are vampires real
- 2:19:52Speaker 3: down here? You know, somebody told me this. Somebody told me.
- 2:19:56Speaker 3: You can gladly find three or four people that will
- 2:19:58Speaker 3: engage in conversation for an hour or two and tell
- 2:20:01Speaker 3: you what they know or sometimes be like, oh, man,
- 2:20:04Speaker 3: he never heard nothing like that. But I was in
- 2:20:07Speaker 3: a restaurant and these guys were talking. And they were Cajuns.
- 2:20:12Speaker 3: And they have a delightful accent and the way that
- 2:20:16Speaker 3: they use words. If you ever heard a man named
- 2:20:20Speaker 3: Justin Wilson, he used to have a cookie shell. If
- 2:20:23Speaker 3: you listen to him talk, that's how Cajuns talked to him.
- 2:20:27Speaker 3: And it's very, you'll be smiling a lot having to
- 2:20:34Speaker 3: exchange it. But he was talking about a guy that
- 2:20:37Speaker 3: had went out in the swamp, in the bodies. And
- 2:20:40Speaker 3: he was doing some hunting. I don't know if he
- 2:20:43Speaker 3: was hunting gators or hogs. I don't know. But they
- 2:20:46Speaker 3: said that he hadn't come back yet. They think that
- 2:20:49Speaker 3: a loop guru. I said, that loop guru guy. I
- 2:20:54Speaker 3: was like, wait a minute. Hold up. He just said
- 2:20:58Speaker 3: loop guru. Let me slide over here a little bit closer.
- 2:21:03Speaker 3: So I'm sitting there listening. And they talking. And they're like,
- 2:21:08Speaker 3: you know, that thing been running around there. for so long.
- 2:21:11Speaker 3: That's how they talk. But like I said, he listened
- 2:21:13Speaker 3: to him. He was like, oh, wow. Ready to bust
- 2:21:16Speaker 3: up his side. And I got to nervous. I said,
- 2:21:21Speaker 3: excuse me, y'all. I've been listening to y'all talk. And
- 2:21:27Speaker 3: one of the dudes said, well, he said, well, hey,
- 2:21:31Speaker 3: my boy. Where'd you be from? And I started laughing.
- 2:21:37Speaker 3: I'm like, I got to talk about that accent. He's like,
- 2:21:39Speaker 3: where you from i said i'm from nebraska it's like
- 2:21:43Speaker 3: black people up i said well there's four there's four
- 2:21:46Speaker 3: left ever since i moved out here so yeah there's
- 2:21:48Speaker 3: still four left and he started laughing what's your question
- 2:21:52Speaker 3: is i said well i heard you say something about
- 2:21:55Speaker 3: a new guru what is that you don't know what
- 2:21:59Speaker 3: the new guru is i said no sir he's like
- 2:22:02Speaker 3: well why you want to know i said i'm doing
- 2:22:04Speaker 3: a for school on supernatural stuff, but I've been writing
- 2:22:07Speaker 3: about vampire ghosts and stuff. But you said this Luke guru,
- 2:22:10Speaker 3: and I heard that, but I just never asked for it.
- 2:22:13Speaker 3: So even they started talking about it, but there's supposed
- 2:22:15Speaker 3: to be a Luke guru down there. The people that
- 2:22:19Speaker 3: live out in the body. So I'm like, and I said, well,
- 2:22:23Speaker 3: how'd you chill? He told me about the rock salt. Well,
- 2:22:27Speaker 3: in the fire, he said, or you use a bullish
- 2:22:30Speaker 3: that got brass. cases, uh, yeah, brass cases, or is
- 2:22:34Speaker 3: it brass or copper? Copper. You can kill them like that,
- 2:22:41Speaker 3: take their head off, or if you put enough shotgun
- 2:22:48Speaker 3: shells in them to keep them down long enough, then
- 2:22:50Speaker 3: you can take their head or you can set them off.
- 2:22:52Speaker 3: I'm like, okay, can you shot, have you seen one
- 2:22:54Speaker 3: of them things? I said, no, I told you, I'm
- 2:22:57Speaker 3: just writing the paper. No, I don't want to see one.
- 2:22:59Speaker 3: You know, I got to make sure Cause I don't
- 2:23:02Speaker 3: know who I'm talking to. I don't want to have
- 2:23:04Speaker 3: to go to the hospital. And then I tell a
- 2:23:06Speaker 3: doctor what I've seen in five minutes later, these two
- 2:23:09Speaker 3: big burly dudes coming in and they got this white jacket,
- 2:23:12Speaker 3: extra long sleeves talking about, you know, this going to
- 2:23:14Speaker 3: fit you perfect. We're going to take you away. Nah,
- 2:23:17Speaker 3: I wasn't trying to be there. So I found over
- 2:23:20Speaker 3: a three year period that I've heard some tales about
- 2:23:27Speaker 3: Luke Guru, the umpires, um, Ghouls. Demons.
- 2:23:36Speaker 2: It's a ghoul.
- 2:23:38Speaker 3: A ghoul is something that haunts the graveyard. They like
- 2:23:43Speaker 3: dead flea. Bruts. They pack up too. Like wolves will
- 2:23:49Speaker 3: pack up. And they're not above eating human beings or
- 2:23:54Speaker 3: anything that's living if they can. They're pale. Think of
- 2:24:02Speaker 3: A pale being, they call them crawler, but think of
- 2:24:06Speaker 3: a pale being that's hairless, that can go on all fours,
- 2:24:09Speaker 3: but kind of like a spider when it's on all fours,
- 2:24:12Speaker 3: or they can stand up. Or they have like when
- 2:24:16Speaker 3: a man or a woman is losing their hair, if
- 2:24:19Speaker 3: they got cancer, been going through chemotherapy and their hair
- 2:24:22Speaker 3: just grows in patches or real wispy, think of them
- 2:24:25Speaker 3: looking like that, but they usually got not like fangs,
- 2:24:33Speaker 3: like a canine or a cat. Think more along the
- 2:24:39Speaker 3: lines of ones having human teeth that because of biting
- 2:24:42Speaker 3: on bones and stuff, they'd actually splinter some of their
- 2:24:45Speaker 3: teeth so they're jacking it. Yeah, like that. Like I said,
- 2:24:51Speaker 3: I talked to probably, I haven't looked at my journal,
- 2:24:54Speaker 3: but I think I probably talked to about between 25
- 2:24:57Speaker 3: and 33 people that actually gave me a lot of
- 2:25:01Speaker 3: information One guy swears up and down. Don't be down
- 2:25:06Speaker 3: in the French Quarter the third time because there was
- 2:25:09Speaker 3: supposed to be a nest of vampires there. They'll get you,
- 2:25:14Speaker 3: but they generally don't mess with you too much if
- 2:25:18Speaker 3: you are from Louisiana. They did most of their activity
- 2:25:23Speaker 3: during the Mardi Gras because you got all these people
- 2:25:25Speaker 3: coming from different states down there. So that's when they
- 2:25:30Speaker 3: would actually do the most of their work. patient human beings,
- 2:25:34Speaker 3: but you've got people that actually would have a deal
- 2:25:37Speaker 3: with vampire to feed them in exchange for a promotion
- 2:25:44Speaker 3: at work, more money, more power. I don't know exactly
- 2:25:52Speaker 3: how all that work, but I can say this is
- 2:25:53Speaker 3: just what a person was telling me. She was telling
- 2:25:55Speaker 3: me that, and I just looked at her like, oh,
- 2:25:58Speaker 3: that's very interesting. So, you know, if you want... to
- 2:26:02Speaker 3: get a raise at work or you want to come
- 2:26:05Speaker 3: into a lot of money. I know somebody that can
- 2:26:07Speaker 3: make it happen. And I was like, you talking about
- 2:26:09Speaker 3: a vampire? She was like, yeah. I was like, I'm
- 2:26:13Speaker 3: going to take a pass on that. Let me think
- 2:26:15Speaker 3: about it a few days and I'll still back up.
- 2:26:17Speaker 3: But voodoo, when it comes to voodoo in Louisiana, that
- 2:26:23Speaker 3: is a real religion. There are people there that practice it.
- 2:26:31Speaker 3: There was actually some voodoo priestesses there, and at the
- 2:26:34Speaker 3: time I was there, the most famous one, they called
- 2:26:37Speaker 3: her Mama. And if you wanted a love spell done
- 2:26:41Speaker 3: or somebody cursed or somebody dead, go and see Mama.
- 2:26:47Speaker 3: And people believe if you tell somebody, I'm going to
- 2:26:49Speaker 3: put roots on you, you better fix whatever the issues
- 2:26:54Speaker 3: is between y'all, or you better make sure that they
- 2:26:57Speaker 3: disappear where they can't go and see her. because people,
- 2:27:01Speaker 3: you mentioned mama's name in that spell or something. Oh, no, no.
- 2:27:06Speaker 3: One lady told me that if you take a man's,
- 2:27:14Speaker 3: a pair of his underwear and bury him in the
- 2:27:17Speaker 3: front yard, that he'll never ever leave you and he'll
- 2:27:20Speaker 3: never cheat on you. And another one dude, another guy
- 2:27:25Speaker 3: I worked with told me, don't ever eat no spaghetti chili,
- 2:27:31Speaker 3: or anything made with the red sauce that your woman
- 2:27:34Speaker 3: made for you. And I was like, why? I was like,
- 2:27:39Speaker 3: I don't don't make no sense. Don't eat red sauce
- 2:27:42Speaker 3: when you're doing spaghetti or chili. And he's like, don't
- 2:27:45Speaker 3: ever eat it if she make it unless you stand
- 2:27:48Speaker 3: there and you watch her and everything she put in there.
- 2:27:51Speaker 3: I'm like, why? He said, because they take menstrual blood
- 2:27:54Speaker 3: and put it in there and that's supposed to keep
- 2:27:57Speaker 3: you bound to that woman. I said, slap me with
- 2:28:02Speaker 3: a tic-tac and make me sit down and hell love you.
- 2:28:05Speaker 3: Are you playing with me right now, dude? He's like,
- 2:28:08Speaker 3: you ain't never heard about that before. I'm like, no. So,
- 2:28:12Speaker 3: of course, it's between me and you. I don't eat
- 2:28:15Speaker 3: no chili or no spaghetti that any woman make that
- 2:28:18Speaker 3: I don't see her make. To this day, you better
- 2:28:21Speaker 3: quit playing with me. Not you. But, yeah, there's a
- 2:28:26Speaker 3: lot of stuff that I learned by talking with people
- 2:28:29Speaker 3: down there. So, But if you ever go to New Orleans,
- 2:28:34Speaker 3: as soon as you get off the plane and come
- 2:28:37Speaker 3: into New Orleans, you're going to feel a different type
- 2:28:39Speaker 3: of energy in the air. Don't know what it is,
- 2:28:43Speaker 3: but there's a different... Then you got that smell. It's
- 2:28:52Speaker 3: hard to describe. Like I said, rotting vegetation, stuff like that,
- 2:28:55Speaker 3: but there is this smell. And one guy told me,
- 2:28:59Speaker 3: that the reason that they have so many hurricanes and
- 2:29:01Speaker 3: stuff like that is because every year God has to
- 2:29:06Speaker 3: cleanse the city of all the sin. That's why they
- 2:29:10Speaker 3: have hurricanes and tropical storms and stuff. I'm like, are
- 2:29:13Speaker 3: you serious? Like, just think about how many bad hurricanes
- 2:29:17Speaker 3: you have. A lot of people got killed or lost
- 2:29:20Speaker 3: every day and they, oh. I'm like, yeah, y'all killed
- 2:29:23Speaker 3: it pretty bad down here. I mean, I went through
- 2:29:26Speaker 3: three tropical storms when I lived there, right? it rains
- 2:29:29Speaker 3: a lot and you don't want to be there when
- 2:29:31Speaker 3: a flooding starts. So, that kind of makes sense to
- 2:29:34Speaker 3: me on that level, but I'm not sure if it's
- 2:29:37Speaker 3: because of the geological location or if this is truly
- 2:29:41Speaker 3: God coming in and doing this. So, yeah, it's, yeah,
- 2:29:46Speaker 3: it is, it's full of weird and another thing is
- 2:29:51Speaker 3: they bury their dead above the ground. You don't, we
- 2:29:56Speaker 3: don't get put because of the The soil. You don't
- 2:30:01Speaker 3: get put. Below ground. So. I can tell you. I was.
- 2:30:10Speaker 3: Going by a cemetery. One night. This was in 89. 1989. And.
- 2:30:17Speaker 3: It's like. You expect a cemetery to be. Separated out
- 2:30:22Speaker 3: from the city. Right. No. You just be driving down
- 2:30:24Speaker 3: the street. And. Between these buildings. There is a cemetery. So.
- 2:30:28Speaker 3: I was sitting there in the red light, and I
- 2:30:29Speaker 3: just happened to look over to my right, and I
- 2:30:32Speaker 3: could have swore I seen a dude walking on the
- 2:30:34Speaker 3: other side of the fence in the cemetery, but he
- 2:30:37Speaker 3: was all black. And I looked, and I'm like, I
- 2:30:41Speaker 3: wonder what he's doing. I really didn't think. I'm like,
- 2:30:43Speaker 3: I wonder what the hell did the cemetery explode? What
- 2:30:45Speaker 3: is he doing? Then the light turned green, and I
- 2:30:48Speaker 3: kept my hindquarters on, so I was talking to somebody
- 2:30:50Speaker 3: later on. They was like, oh, that was just a spirit.
- 2:30:54Speaker 3: He was just patrolling the cemetery to make sure he
- 2:30:56Speaker 3: was keeping the either keeping bad spirits in or keeping
- 2:31:00Speaker 3: bad spirits of company. And I looked at him like,
- 2:31:03Speaker 3: you serious right now? He said, but he just said
- 2:31:06Speaker 3: that like matter of fact, I'm like, okay, thanks for
- 2:31:09Speaker 3: the information. So other than that, I, one weird, weird
- 2:31:19Speaker 3: thing happened. And I can't explain. There's actually a theater
- 2:31:24Speaker 3: or have been a theater down under Fred quarters. where
- 2:31:27Speaker 3: they do plays, but the actors actually have to have
- 2:31:31Speaker 3: period dress on when they're doing it. And I can't
- 2:31:34Speaker 3: remember what play was doing it, but I was with
- 2:31:38Speaker 3: a young lady that I had been seeing, and I
- 2:31:42Speaker 3: knew that she wasn't sprouting fangs and fur. At least
- 2:31:44Speaker 3: she hadn't done it up to that point. My sister
- 2:31:46Speaker 3: had been talking. But we had went to go see
- 2:31:49Speaker 3: the Neville Brothers performer, one of the blues performers. bars
- 2:31:56Speaker 3: in the front quarters, but where we had to park,
- 2:31:58Speaker 3: because we got just so late, we had to park
- 2:32:00Speaker 3: down by the river, on First Street and Chapel Toulouse.
- 2:32:07Speaker 3: It's a farmer's market area, so when they shut down,
- 2:32:12Speaker 3: in the cobblestone street, and they didn't really have the
- 2:32:15Speaker 3: proper lighting there, they had some street lights, but they
- 2:32:17Speaker 3: were spaced really far apart. And we was walking to
- 2:32:21Speaker 3: go get in the car, We was just, you know,
- 2:32:25Speaker 3: having a small talk. Actually, you saw my word, we
- 2:32:27Speaker 3: was going to go do something. You know, you can
- 2:32:32Speaker 3: hear hard-soled shoes on cobblestone. They heard somebody walking. So
- 2:32:36Speaker 3: I turned, you know, around and looked back. And there
- 2:32:39Speaker 3: was a guy, he was about a couple of blocks
- 2:32:41Speaker 3: back of the street. And he was just walking along
- 2:32:44Speaker 3: at a casual pace. So I turned around, I'm like, oh,
- 2:32:48Speaker 3: you know, get walking. So it took about maybe 10,
- 2:32:55Speaker 3: 12 steps. And I heard the footsteps lock. So I
- 2:33:01Speaker 3: turned around and looked again. Now this dude is like
- 2:33:04Speaker 3: a block behind him. And I was like, I couldn't
- 2:33:12Speaker 3: hear him running because you could hear him walking. But
- 2:33:14Speaker 3: when he went under the light, he had on a
- 2:33:16Speaker 3: black compact, one of those cakes that come down to
- 2:33:20Speaker 3: your waist, and he had a pen. And he had
- 2:33:23Speaker 3: on black pen Black pants, black shoes, and he had
- 2:33:28Speaker 3: on a white shirt. I don't know if he had
- 2:33:30Speaker 3: on a bow tie or if he had a tie
- 2:33:32Speaker 3: or what. He was just strolling along at a casual pace.
- 2:33:35Speaker 3: And I'm like, I started doing the math. I'm like,
- 2:33:38Speaker 3: wait a minute. How did he get a block closer
- 2:33:40Speaker 3: to us? And we only took, well, steps at most.
- 2:33:45Speaker 3: So I told my girlfriend, I'm like, she said, well,
- 2:33:47Speaker 3: I'm like, turn around and look at that dude that's
- 2:33:49Speaker 3: walking behind us. Tell me he's something weird. So she
- 2:33:54Speaker 3: turned around and looked and she was like, You know,
- 2:33:56Speaker 3: she kind of jumped, and I'm like, you know, and
- 2:33:58Speaker 3: I turn around and look. Now he's about half a
- 2:34:01Speaker 3: block away, but you never hear him increase his height.
- 2:34:05Speaker 3: And when he went up under the light, you know
- 2:34:07Speaker 3: how some redheads are really pale? He was pale like
- 2:34:12Speaker 3: that because, you know, he almost looked, my angle said gone,
- 2:34:15Speaker 3: but he was just pale like that. And I look
- 2:34:17Speaker 3: at her, and I'm like, hey, I said, we're going
- 2:34:19Speaker 3: to walk a few more steps, and this is what
- 2:34:21Speaker 3: I want you to do. She said, what? I want
- 2:34:22Speaker 3: you to go unlock the car and jump in. and
- 2:34:25Speaker 3: popped the trunk. She said, what you going to do?
- 2:34:30Speaker 3: I said, just do what I should do. So I
- 2:34:33Speaker 3: stopped walking, and she kept on walking. Then she got
- 2:34:36Speaker 3: about five feet from the car, and she ran up there,
- 2:34:38Speaker 3: and she dropped. So I started walking, and I was
- 2:34:41Speaker 3: kind of looking over my shoulder. The dude was still walking,
- 2:34:43Speaker 3: and he could tell he was looking in my direction.
- 2:34:46Speaker 3: But we went out to the trunk, and I reached
- 2:34:49Speaker 3: in there, and I had that same gun. I popped it. Hey, dude,
- 2:34:53Speaker 3: I don't want no trouble with you. I don't know
- 2:34:56Speaker 3: what you up to or how'd you get so close
- 2:34:58Speaker 3: there so fast. Just go on about your business. I
- 2:35:01Speaker 3: don't want no problem. And he stopped. But when he stopped,
- 2:35:08Speaker 3: he wasn't up under the street like he kind of
- 2:35:10Speaker 3: was in the shadow. Well, he was right in front
- 2:35:11Speaker 3: of this store, the doorway to it. And he took
- 2:35:15Speaker 3: one step back and like he was going to go
- 2:35:17Speaker 3: into the store, but he was facing me. So I
- 2:35:20Speaker 3: went and I got in the car and I started.
- 2:35:25Speaker 3: And I'm still looking at him the whole time. She
- 2:35:28Speaker 3: was looking, too, when she said, where the blank did
- 2:35:31Speaker 3: he go? I'm like, he's right there in the doorway.
- 2:35:34Speaker 3: When I started the carpet, turned the lights on, wasn't
- 2:35:36Speaker 3: nobody in the doorway. And I looked at her. I'm like,
- 2:35:41Speaker 3: you didn't see where he went? She's like, didn't you
- 2:35:44Speaker 3: just hear me say, where did he go? I'm like,
- 2:35:45Speaker 3: but you seen him back there. She said, I seen
- 2:35:48Speaker 3: him back there to the doorway. Wasn't nobody in there.
- 2:35:50Speaker 3: And I'm like, OK, he must have went in the store.
- 2:35:53Speaker 3: She said, ain't no light, y'all. Now, when I backed out,
- 2:35:56Speaker 3: I made sure my head, like, would illuminate the front
- 2:35:58Speaker 3: part of her store. I didn't see nothing. I looked
- 2:36:01Speaker 3: at her. She looked at me. I was like, guess what?
- 2:36:03Speaker 3: She said, what? I said, we about to exit stage left.
- 2:36:07Speaker 3: We out of here. So we left. We went to
- 2:36:12Speaker 3: the Greasy Spoon Waffle House. We've been there for about
- 2:36:16Speaker 3: an hour and a half talking about it. He was like,
- 2:36:20Speaker 3: I told you some weird stuff going on. She was
- 2:36:23Speaker 3: from Newark. I'm like, I know some weird stuff went
- 2:36:25Speaker 3: on there. I never told her what I experienced at all.
- 2:36:29Speaker 3: But when I went to go and meet her mother
- 2:36:34Speaker 3: for the first time, I should have known something wasn't right.
- 2:36:38Speaker 3: I don't put it like that. Because when we got
- 2:36:40Speaker 3: to her house, I'm hearing chickens in the backyard. Now,
- 2:36:44Speaker 3: it's not unusual for people to aren't cheap. It's a
- 2:36:46Speaker 3: lot to get to the age of starting to eat them.
- 2:36:48Speaker 3: But then you're living in the city. We get inside
- 2:36:51Speaker 3: the house. Her mother, her mom came out. I introduced myself.
- 2:36:58Speaker 3: We was talking. It was on a Sunday. We were
- 2:37:00Speaker 3: supposed to have dinner. But we sitting at the table.
- 2:37:05Speaker 3: Her mom went in the kitchen and was bringing the
- 2:37:07Speaker 3: dishes out. And I asked her, ma'am, you know, I
- 2:37:09Speaker 3: can give you a hand. She's like, ma'am, I got this.
- 2:37:10Speaker 3: You get to my house. So we all sitting in
- 2:37:14Speaker 3: the dining room at the table. you could hear or
- 2:37:20Speaker 3: heard like two pots bang together. I looked at girlfriend,
- 2:37:28Speaker 3: I'm like, who else is here? You told me your
- 2:37:32Speaker 3: mom's there by herself. She said, ain't nobody else here
- 2:37:34Speaker 3: but me. I said, well, who's in the kitchen banging
- 2:37:38Speaker 3: the pots in their mind? I said, oh, that's them spirits.
- 2:37:40Speaker 3: Sometimes they get restless when I act. I said, did
- 2:37:44Speaker 3: you say spirit? He said, yeah. I leaped over and
- 2:37:48Speaker 3: looked at my girl. I'm like, you ain't in the
- 2:37:50Speaker 3: car by the time I pull away from the curb
- 2:37:52Speaker 3: you find your all way home I got up and
- 2:37:58Speaker 3: I said it was very nice to meet you ma'am
- 2:38:00Speaker 3: maybe one day we could do this again she's like
- 2:38:03Speaker 3: what's the matter I'm about to leave now she's like
- 2:38:07Speaker 3: oh if they didn't like you I said I'm about
- 2:38:10Speaker 3: to leave now I don't want to do nothing else
- 2:38:12Speaker 3: it was a pleasure to meet you and I walked
- 2:38:14Speaker 3: out that door and I got in the car And
- 2:38:16Speaker 3: I started up. Then my girlfriend come hauling out. Because
- 2:38:19Speaker 3: I meant what I said. You ain't in the car
- 2:38:21Speaker 3: by the time my girl go. I'm out of here.
- 2:38:23Speaker 3: She's like, oh my God, I'm so embarrassed. How could
- 2:38:26Speaker 3: you just get up and walk away like that? I'm like,
- 2:38:30Speaker 3: your mom got something in the house for her. Plus
- 2:38:33Speaker 3: she raised chickens. And she was like, what they got
- 2:38:37Speaker 3: to do with anything? I'm like, what do she do
- 2:38:39Speaker 3: with that shit? She's like, well, she get the eggs
- 2:38:42Speaker 3: and stuff. I'm like, everything I heard about voodoo, anybody
- 2:38:45Speaker 3: that's practicing voodoo, Got chickens or goats. I'm never coming
- 2:38:50Speaker 3: back to your mom's house again. I don't even want
- 2:38:52Speaker 3: to talk to her on the phone. She's like, well,
- 2:38:54Speaker 3: you better check in there because she's being a smart aleck.
- 2:38:56Speaker 3: She said, you know what, Roy? I'm like, well, she said,
- 2:39:00Speaker 3: you might not want to piss her off then. You know,
- 2:39:02Speaker 3: she raised cheek. Ooh. Guess what? I didn't live in
- 2:39:08Speaker 3: Louisiana until two months after that. I took my black
- 2:39:11Speaker 3: high quarter back to Nebraska. That's great.
- 2:39:16Speaker 2: How long did you stay in Louisiana?
- 2:39:18Speaker 3: A total of seven years.
- 2:39:21Speaker 2: Wow, even after all that?
- 2:39:23Speaker 3: I was there for three years after I had my
- 2:39:26Speaker 3: mission encounter, and I went back in 88, and I
- 2:39:29Speaker 3: came back in 92. And trust me, I had, but
- 2:39:34Speaker 3: I was always armed. I was always armed. And the
- 2:39:40Speaker 3: last cross, but I never went back to Metairie. Never.
- 2:39:44Speaker 3: I never went back to Metairie. I tried to stay
- 2:39:50Speaker 3: on the other side of the river. West Wego, Harahan,
- 2:39:54Speaker 3: places like that, but there's so much there's so much.
- 2:40:03Speaker 3: There's so many wooded areas in the city. Like driving
- 2:40:07Speaker 3: down Airline Highway, you look to your left and you
- 2:40:09Speaker 3: look to your right and you see 50 yards out
- 2:40:12Speaker 3: there's just these big citrus trees with Spanish moth hanging down.
- 2:40:15Speaker 3: Just very creepy to see at night. when you are
- 2:40:23Speaker 3: down by the Mississippi River, because I still fish. I
- 2:40:27Speaker 3: just pick and chose the times that I went, and
- 2:40:29Speaker 3: I never went back. There's areas down there, especially by
- 2:40:35Speaker 3: the river, heavily overgrown, but I just followed a pass,
- 2:40:39Speaker 3: or I would fish behind this church. I figure, okay,
- 2:40:42Speaker 3: you're right behind the church, so hopefully that protection will
- 2:40:46Speaker 3: go down to the river. I like Louisiana. I like
- 2:40:53Speaker 3: the food and stuff, but I didn't really date anybody
- 2:40:59Speaker 3: too much that was from Louisiana because after that lady
- 2:41:04Speaker 3: there that I dated, I asked people, you from Louisiana?
- 2:41:07Speaker 3: I'm from Florida. Mississippi, okay. I'm from not Alabama, but
- 2:41:16Speaker 3: your origin or something like that, okay, you're good, but
- 2:41:18Speaker 3: you'd be like, well, yeah, I'm born and raised in Louisiana. Oh, well,
- 2:41:22Speaker 3: it was nice to meet you. It's a good day.
- 2:41:25Speaker 3: They just kind of look at me like, damn, as
- 2:41:27Speaker 3: soon as I say that I'm from Louisiana, that's so....
- 2:41:31Speaker 2: Why do you think there's so many.
- 2:41:34Speaker 1: Roots and stuff over there in Louisiana?
- 2:41:37Speaker 2: Why do you think that?
- 2:41:39Speaker 3: At that time, I did think that it was just
- 2:41:41Speaker 3: a week. Now I know they're everywhere, except for Hawaii
- 2:41:45Speaker 3: so far, but Everywhere in the United States and Canada,
- 2:41:49Speaker 3: even down in South America, people are seeing these things.
- 2:41:53Speaker 3: I believe why they were so thick in Louisiana, because
- 2:41:58Speaker 3: at one time, that was a main slave port. Bringing
- 2:42:04Speaker 3: people from Cuba, Africa, Caribbean. I'm not thinking of other Jews.
- 2:42:15Speaker 3: He did the research on it, but when you bring
- 2:42:19Speaker 3: these people in as slaves, they don't leave their religion
- 2:42:22Speaker 3: at home. You bring their religion with them, and if
- 2:42:26Speaker 3: you got somebody that's already cursed or blessed, if you're
- 2:42:30Speaker 3: not looking at it, they're not going to stay, you know, okay, well,
- 2:42:34Speaker 3: you just leave the curse here in Havana, Chiba, and
- 2:42:37Speaker 3: you're here, or you come out to Africa, you don't
- 2:42:39Speaker 3: leave that curse there. It comes here, and with the
- 2:42:44Speaker 3: different varieties that I've heard about that are roaming the
- 2:42:50Speaker 3: United States alone, like this hyena type that people are
- 2:42:53Speaker 3: talking about. There are actually, people be like, well, you're
- 2:43:00Speaker 3: from America, never had no hyenas. Yes, we did. It
- 2:43:03Speaker 3: was called the running hyena. I did the research. Now,
- 2:43:06Speaker 3: the reason I say that is I asked a guy,
- 2:43:13Speaker 3: could a dogman possibly be? And he said, without hesitation,
- 2:43:18Speaker 3: the product of a fallen angel and a dire wolf.
- 2:43:24Speaker 3: I'm like, wait a minute. What makes you say that?
- 2:43:28Speaker 3: He said, that's just my own personal opinion. I don't
- 2:43:31Speaker 3: have any scientific facts to back it up, but if
- 2:43:34Speaker 3: you think radically, he said, think about how big a
- 2:43:37Speaker 3: dire wolf is. And when the angels fell and came
- 2:43:39Speaker 3: out here, they was fortifying with everything. I'm like, okay.
- 2:43:45Speaker 3: He said, so that's what I think a dog meant.
- 2:43:49Speaker 3: He said, now, werewolves, I put them in the category
- 2:43:55Speaker 3: of somebody that has made a deal with the devil
- 2:43:57Speaker 3: and allowed a demon to come and take possession of
- 2:44:00Speaker 3: their body, and that's why we see these things, or
- 2:44:04Speaker 3: it is something that already exists, and a demon, because
- 2:44:08Speaker 3: they don't have a physical form, they chose to possess
- 2:44:12Speaker 3: these things. And that's why you got dog men that
- 2:44:16Speaker 3: are not like that. But if you think about some
- 2:44:20Speaker 3: things human beings can do. For instance, a 120-pound woman
- 2:44:27Speaker 3: lives on a rural farm with her husband. She's 120
- 2:44:31Speaker 3: pounds soaking wet with two borrowed bricks. Her husband's out
- 2:44:35Speaker 3: in the garage working on that F-350, changing the brakes.
- 2:44:41Speaker 3: Because of the jack that he has, it's not high enough.
- 2:44:44Speaker 3: to jack the car up to where he could work safely,
- 2:44:48Speaker 3: he uses a couple of cinder blocks and three two-by-fours
- 2:44:52Speaker 3: as a jack. Now, he's up under the truck doing
- 2:44:56Speaker 3: his job. A couple of the two-by-fours crack and break.
- 2:45:02Speaker 3: Brook falls and pins him to the ground. He's out
- 2:45:04Speaker 3: there in the barn howling and screaming his head off.
- 2:45:07Speaker 3: His wife hears him. He come running out to the
- 2:45:09Speaker 3: barn to see that he's standing up under the car.
- 2:45:12Speaker 3: she's able to lift the front end of that S350
- 2:45:15Speaker 3: off her husband and pull him out. What type of
- 2:45:19Speaker 3: change takes place in her body that she's able to
- 2:45:21Speaker 3: do this? Some people say that's adrenaline. Okay, I've had
- 2:45:25Speaker 3: adrenaline rush before playing football, but I never had one
- 2:45:28Speaker 3: allow me to pick up the front end of a vehicle. Never.
- 2:45:33Speaker 3: So there's either some type of chemical or physical change
- 2:45:36Speaker 3: that take place that give her the strength to do that.
- 2:45:39Speaker 3: There are clients that say, We only use a certain
- 2:45:42Speaker 3: percentage of our brain, which is true. He said if
- 2:45:45Speaker 3: we were able to use at least 70% of our brain,
- 2:45:48Speaker 3: we probably could be able to achieve the power of
- 2:45:51Speaker 3: flight unassisted by any time mechanic. I said, so are
- 2:45:56Speaker 3: you saying we'd be able to fly like Superman? He said,
- 2:45:59Speaker 3: I don't know, but if we were able to use
- 2:46:01Speaker 3: at least 70% of our brain, it's possible. So people
- 2:46:07Speaker 3: talk about, I don't think the human body can go
- 2:46:10Speaker 3: through the chain, and then back again. Well, that's exactly
- 2:46:13Speaker 3: what happened with Skinwalker. It's assisted by a demon or
- 2:46:18Speaker 3: a deal with the devil to do it. But if
- 2:46:20Speaker 3: you think about, I know the biology is different for
- 2:46:26Speaker 3: frogs and insects, but what happens when a caterpillar goes
- 2:46:31Speaker 3: from being a caterpillar to a moth or a butterfly?
- 2:46:34Speaker 3: There's not a total physical change that one. Now, they
- 2:46:37Speaker 3: may not tend back or to a caterpillar, but that process,
- 2:46:41Speaker 3: they're the physical giant. Then there are some frogs that
- 2:46:45Speaker 3: if they're all female in one area, some of the
- 2:46:48Speaker 3: females will actually morph into males in order to propagate
- 2:46:52Speaker 3: a species. And then I'll just take and look at
- 2:46:56Speaker 3: these cases of demonic possessions on human beings, look at
- 2:46:59Speaker 3: what the human body gen would stand as far as
- 2:47:02Speaker 3: The movements that they do, crawling backwards up the wall
- 2:47:05Speaker 3: on the ceiling and stuff like that. That's a physical chime. Now,
- 2:47:11Speaker 3: it may be because the demon is doing it. I
- 2:47:13Speaker 3: don't know, but I just keep that door to as
- 2:47:16Speaker 3: possible open in my head. but I know with what
- 2:47:21Speaker 3: I saw even though I've never seen her chain when
- 2:47:25Speaker 3: she looked at me when I was thinking about getting
- 2:47:27Speaker 3: that fence that was not an animal looking at me
- 2:47:33Speaker 3: that was intelligence that a normal animal doesn't have because
- 2:47:37Speaker 3: like I said it was that look like Go ahead
- 2:47:39Speaker 3: and try it. Run. See how far you can try.
- 2:47:43Speaker 3: I didn't run. I just stood there and peed on myself.
- 2:47:47Speaker 3: That is what I believe and that somebody can come
- 2:47:50Speaker 3: forward with to prove. 105% to prove to me that
- 2:47:54Speaker 3: she wasn't that. That's what I'm thinking through my grave.
- 2:47:58Speaker 3: I've shared some stuff with you but it's considered dog meat.
- 2:48:04Speaker 3: If we got in a fight, I don't want to
- 2:48:05Speaker 3: talk about it just a little bit but even you
- 2:48:08Speaker 3: said That is scary. But to know that. As in
- 2:48:12Speaker 3: that one video I seen. If you blow it up
- 2:48:16Speaker 3: and look at it. You can see the head. The
- 2:48:18Speaker 3: eyes and everything. In that window. But yet they are
- 2:48:21Speaker 3: not inside her. And they're not standing outside. It's like
- 2:48:24Speaker 3: they're the portal. Right there. And also in that same video.
- 2:48:28Speaker 3: I think you. I'm going to send you the still shot.
- 2:48:31Speaker 3: There's a picture of Bigfoot face up in the upper
- 2:48:34Speaker 3: left corner. So. I don't know. I didn't think I
- 2:48:41Speaker 3: had any more questions. I asked them first. I don't know.
- 2:48:48Speaker 2: What to do. I think you pretty much answered everything
- 2:48:54Speaker 2: with your experience. Are you going to make a book?
- 2:48:57Speaker 3: I started writing a book two years 2021. I've stopped
- 2:49:06Speaker 3: because I've had some little distractions, but I have maybe
- 2:49:14Speaker 3: four more chapters I want to add, but that's more
- 2:49:17Speaker 3: about what I've learned this 2020 to 2023. But here's
- 2:49:23Speaker 3: something you might find interesting. Have you seen any of
- 2:49:27Speaker 3: the Underworld movies? about the werewolves. Okay, I said, yes,
- 2:49:33Speaker 3: you watch them. There's four right now and they're talking
- 2:49:35Speaker 3: about making them up. But the first one and the
- 2:49:38Speaker 3: third one, there's a black guy that plays one of
- 2:49:41Speaker 3: the werewolves. He's got a really deep voice. Well, one
- 2:49:46Speaker 3: of my Facebook friends reached out to me and he's
- 2:49:49Speaker 3: actually friends with that guy. So he put me in
- 2:49:52Speaker 3: contact with him. The only thing I wanted to talk
- 2:49:55Speaker 3: to Kevin about was his inspiration for being in a
- 2:49:59Speaker 3: movie and Can he give me three names, any producers
- 2:50:04Speaker 3: in Hollywood that I could send a script to that
- 2:50:08Speaker 3: would at least take the time to read it and
- 2:50:11Speaker 3: give serious consideration to make a movie? While I'm talking
- 2:50:14Speaker 3: with this guy, I found out he wrote the first
- 2:50:18Speaker 3: and the third strips for The World. And he didn't
- 2:50:22Speaker 3: write it. He didn't have vampires and werewolves in mind
- 2:50:25Speaker 3: when he wrote it. It was supposed to be his
- 2:50:29Speaker 3: message is, This is how human beings treat other human beings.
- 2:50:33Speaker 3: Because of your race or your creed, whatever. And when
- 2:50:39Speaker 3: I say he got a deep voice, it sounds like
- 2:50:41Speaker 3: it comes from his lower intestine. He's got a deep voice,
- 2:50:44Speaker 3: but he's very, very, very friendly. He doesn't act like,
- 2:50:51Speaker 3: you know, he's all that because he's been in some movies.
- 2:50:54Speaker 3: And then I found out that he also wrote this
- 2:50:56Speaker 3: movie called I, Franken. He wrote the script for it.
- 2:51:00Speaker 3: I'm like, dude, he's getting three names. I got a
- 2:51:03Speaker 3: really good... I actually started writing a script for him.
- 2:51:08Speaker 3: I just wanted to know. I don't want anybody to
- 2:51:10Speaker 3: take my idea and turn it into a movie. Copyright
- 2:51:14Speaker 3: and stuff like that. I recently sent a friend request
- 2:51:18Speaker 3: out to Jason Momoa. He accepted. He accepted. I'm like,
- 2:51:28Speaker 3: I don't know what we're going to talk about, but
- 2:51:30Speaker 3: I just think I really like him. Go talk. Yes. No, please.
- 2:51:35Speaker 3: Some of the movies he played in. So I sent
- 2:51:37Speaker 3: him a message. I have a check message to see
- 2:51:39Speaker 3: if he responded back. But he did accept friend requests.
- 2:51:41Speaker 3: But it might get you for numbers on Facebook. But, yeah,
- 2:51:46Speaker 3: I am. Vic even told me, you should write a book.
- 2:51:49Speaker 3: But I thought about it. I sat down and I
- 2:51:55Speaker 3: did it. I started it. and then I take a
- 2:52:00Speaker 3: break because you know my grandson stays with me now
- 2:52:03Speaker 3: so it's hard to find quiet time where he'll let
- 2:52:06Speaker 3: me sit down I don't mind because no that's no
- 2:52:11Speaker 3: that's my sunshine right now he's a little spoiled right
- 2:52:13Speaker 3: behind me that's my sunshine so yeah I want to
- 2:52:17Speaker 3: do that but I have started again this is my
- 2:52:24Speaker 3: second weekend I started a small cryptic group on Facebook
- 2:52:30Speaker 3: I sent you an invitation because I wanted you to
- 2:52:34Speaker 3: go in there and actually look at some of the
- 2:52:35Speaker 3: stuff I told you, just as I told my other.
- 2:52:39Speaker 3: I have some stuff here that you're not going to
- 2:52:42Speaker 3: see anywhere else. And so I'm trying to be true
- 2:52:46Speaker 3: to that, but I don't just let anybody in because
- 2:52:49Speaker 3: there's some real yappers out there that I can do
- 2:52:53Speaker 3: this in my backyard or Photoshop. And I tell them,
- 2:52:57Speaker 3: if he says Photoshop, I invite you to take it,
- 2:53:00Speaker 3: send it to Thinker Talker, send it to N.T. David,
- 2:53:03Speaker 3: and have them analyze it to see if it's been photoshopped.
- 2:53:06Speaker 3: Trust the people that share the stuff with me. I
- 2:53:10Speaker 3: have a member that's in Arkansas. And when I tell
- 2:53:14Speaker 3: you he covers four categories for weird, I mean that Bigfoot, Dogman, Ghosts, UFOs,
- 2:53:28Speaker 3: he I don't know what's going on with her that
- 2:53:31Speaker 3: she's ever after all this, but I know she reached
- 2:53:35Speaker 3: out to me after she heard me on Vic's show. No,
- 2:53:39Speaker 3: she's seen me on TV. And I asked her, why
- 2:53:44Speaker 3: are you talking to me? You know, you can reach
- 2:53:46Speaker 3: out to Vic, you can reach out to Fast Rock Chronicles,
- 2:53:48Speaker 3: you can reach out to Jericho Nothani. There's so many
- 2:53:51Speaker 3: other people. She's like, I don't trust him. You seem
- 2:53:56Speaker 3: like you're more down to earth than me and you're
- 2:53:58Speaker 3: not trying to be big or presumptuous of what you're doing.
- 2:54:04Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not trying to do anything. I just
- 2:54:06Speaker 3: wanted to share with the world what happened to me,
- 2:54:09Speaker 3: and I was invited. I didn't reach out in there.
- 2:54:11Speaker 3: I said, well, I just feel like I could trust you.
- 2:54:16Speaker 3: Some of the stuff she shared with me, some of
- 2:54:19Speaker 3: it I can't post. I wish I could, but she
- 2:54:22Speaker 3: made an agreement with the dog, me and Danton, live
- 2:54:27Speaker 3: where she lives that she won't share any pictures of
- 2:54:30Speaker 3: them if their babies are in. I have a picture
- 2:54:37Speaker 3: of a dog man out in the open. You can
- 2:54:40Speaker 3: actually use a garbage can to jade his thigh, but
- 2:54:45Speaker 3: I can't share it. Now, I'm going to work on
- 2:54:47Speaker 3: her with that to see if we can really crop
- 2:54:49Speaker 3: the babies out because there are two pups in the pictures.
- 2:54:53Speaker 3: If I can crop them out, believe me, I'll post it. Now,
- 2:54:58Speaker 3: Some of the dogs, well, at least the ones that
- 2:55:00Speaker 3: she deals with, they're not big and muscular. They would
- 2:55:05Speaker 3: remind you more of a basketball. They're tall and rangy. Now,
- 2:55:11Speaker 3: I sent you a video of that one with his
- 2:55:13Speaker 3: head by the tree. He's not up in the tree. Now,
- 2:55:17Speaker 3: I've got to find a picture, but I'm going to
- 2:55:18Speaker 3: send you a picture of the tree by myself in
- 2:55:20Speaker 3: the daytime. He's not in the tree. He's standing next
- 2:55:23Speaker 3: to the tree. But when you see, he's got to
- 2:55:27Speaker 3: be between 12 or 15 feet tall. Down on all fours,
- 2:55:32Speaker 3: I say he's about eight feet long. It just blew
- 2:55:37Speaker 3: my mind. And again, she's got UFO stuff. She definitely
- 2:55:41Speaker 3: has some spirit stuff. But she has some light phenomena.
- 2:55:47Speaker 3: I'm going to send you a couple of pictures of
- 2:55:49Speaker 3: her where she's driving down a black road. And she
- 2:55:53Speaker 3: just get a feeling that she needs to take pictures.
- 2:55:56Speaker 3: And there's either sevens, there's either numbers or musical notes
- 2:56:01Speaker 3: that are just in the air in full color. And
- 2:56:03Speaker 3: I'm like, no, that's got to be a reflection of
- 2:56:06Speaker 3: a fine, you know, some side and high. Come on,
- 2:56:08Speaker 3: quit playing with me. And I called her up and
- 2:56:10Speaker 3: she's like, I got my daughter with me. And I've
- 2:56:14Speaker 3: talked to all three of her kids about some of
- 2:56:17Speaker 3: the stuff they've experienced. And it's really weird. And I'm like,
- 2:56:23Speaker 3: what is going on in Arkansas where you lived at
- 2:56:25Speaker 3: your country? And she's like, you may help me make
- 2:56:28Speaker 3: it make sense. So I'm not going to try to
- 2:56:31Speaker 3: use your platform to promote mine, but unfortunately, the way
- 2:56:36Speaker 3: I'm about to say this, it's going to kind of
- 2:56:37Speaker 3: do it, but the name of my group, Cryptid Insights,
- 2:56:40Speaker 3: it's a small group. You can only get in if
- 2:56:42Speaker 3: I let you in. You can only get in if
- 2:56:46Speaker 3: I let you in. I don't have any admins or moderators.
- 2:56:49Speaker 3: I do it all by myself, and I promise anybody
- 2:56:52Speaker 3: that listen to this that want to join, if you
- 2:56:55Speaker 3: get in, you're going to see some stuff that you're
- 2:56:58Speaker 3: not going to see anywhere else. I guarantee you that.
- 2:57:02Speaker 3: You're not going to see it in another cryptic group.
- 2:57:04Speaker 3: You're not going to see it on some TV show.
- 2:57:08Speaker 3: I actually interviewed her. last year. Three-hour interview in the group.
- 2:57:16Speaker 2: Did you record it?
- 2:57:16Speaker 3: Can't find it anywhere. Now, I got an interview sitting there,
- 2:57:21Speaker 3: a lady in Scotland that researches dogma. And her interview
- 2:57:25Speaker 3: was there. And I did it through the same steps.
- 2:57:28Speaker 3: And I'm like, I don't. understand why I can't find
- 2:57:33Speaker 3: your energy. So I'm going to interview her again. I'm
- 2:57:39Speaker 3: not sure exactly when I'm going to do it because
- 2:57:41Speaker 3: I didn't get into this energy stuff. It's just that
- 2:57:45Speaker 3: so many people say, just like I told you yesterday,
- 2:57:47Speaker 3: a guy sent me a message on YouTube that, you know,
- 2:57:51Speaker 3: there's a podcast that we want you to come and
- 2:57:53Speaker 3: be a host on because we feel like you would
- 2:57:55Speaker 3: be a kid. And I'm like, well, you know, reach
- 2:57:58Speaker 3: out to me on Facebook and we'll talk about our
- 2:58:00Speaker 3: scenes He sent me a message that there was something
- 2:58:02Speaker 3: that was more than I had hoped. But I knew
- 2:58:05Speaker 3: how it was going to be doing, and so I
- 2:58:07Speaker 3: don't like to have too many pots stirring and everything.
- 2:58:10Speaker 3: All right, so my group is called Cryptid Insights.
- 2:58:16Speaker 2: Okay, so they can find you on Facebook. I'll put
- 2:58:19Speaker 2: that in the show notes.
- 2:58:20Speaker 3: Okay, I appreciate that.
- 2:58:25Speaker 1: And that brings us to an end of another compelling
- 2:58:28Speaker 1: episode of the Senseful Hippie Podcast. I want to extend
- 2:58:32Speaker 1: my heartfelt thank you to my special guest and now friend,
- 2:58:36Speaker 1: Roy Stubblefield, for joining us and sharing his incredible story. Roy,
- 2:58:42Speaker 1: you trusted me to convey your experience with authenticity means
- 2:58:46Speaker 1: a great deal.
- 2:58:47Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
