- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shoot. Hello, welcome to the Naughty bne Ny Show.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter, and it is Thursday, my
- 0:19Speaker 1: favorite day of the week, partly because the lovely Mark
- 0:23Speaker 1: Lupo is joining us. Louby Loup, Are you there? Hello?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Rap He handsome, I was just under television. I rushed
- 0:31Speaker 1: over to my microphone to do our podcast. It's a busy,
- 0:35Speaker 1: busy day with all the gossip on Brittany and the
- 0:37Speaker 1: royals and build Cosby. Hey, my friend, let's jump right
- 0:40Speaker 1: into the show. Do you know what time it is?
- 0:43Speaker 1: It is t Bill Cosby's sex conviction has been overturned.
- 0:50Speaker 1: So Pennsylvania's highest court has overturned his sex conviction his
- 0:55Speaker 1: sexual assault conviction after finding an agreement with a previous
- 1:01Speaker 1: prosecutor prevented him from ever being charged in the case.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So let me explain. He spent about two years of
- 1:09Speaker 1: his tenure sentence in state prison. He had vowed to
- 1:14Speaker 1: serve all ten years rather than acknowledge any remorse. He
- 1:18Speaker 1: was charged in late two thousand and fifteen when a
- 1:22Speaker 1: prosecutor armed with Cosby's damaging deposition from a lawsuit arrested
- 1:28Speaker 1: him just a few days before the twelve years statue
- 1:32Speaker 1: of limitation expired. However, the court has just decided that
- 1:39Speaker 1: this was not fair. Mr Cosby did this deposition because
- 1:44Speaker 1: he was promised by a previous prosecutor that he would
- 1:48Speaker 1: not be charged in the case. He made a deal,
- 1:52Speaker 1: he spoke in the civil case, and now because of
- 1:55Speaker 1: that they have thrown away all the charges marked. We
- 1:59Speaker 1: should point out nobody's saying he is innocent. Actually one
- 2:02Speaker 1: person is Bill Cosby. He's claiming he's innocent, he's been vindicated.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Not true. This is a technicality. I took a deep
- 2:11Speaker 1: dive on social media to see what other people are thinking.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Felicia Rashad has said, thank god he's finally free for
- 2:18Speaker 1: something he did not commit, although a lot of other
- 2:21Speaker 1: people are really really upset. But I have to say, Rob,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I acknowledge that based on the deal he made with
- 2:28Speaker 1: the prosecutors, it is fair for him, I guess, to
- 2:31Speaker 1: be released, even though I personally don't like I'm with
- 2:34Speaker 1: you on this. I wouldn't use the word fair, I
- 2:36Speaker 1: don't think, but it is, I guess legally cracked. He
- 2:40Speaker 1: made a deal with a former prosecutor that he would
- 2:43Speaker 1: not take the fifth but he would talk out. He
- 2:46Speaker 1: would say what happened in a civil case, and he
- 2:49Speaker 1: would only do that if he was idemnified, I guess
- 2:53Speaker 1: in the criminal place. Then a new prosecutor came along
- 2:57Speaker 1: and charged him and used his deposition that he said
- 3:01Speaker 1: himself from this case because he thought he was home free.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Now Felicia Rashad is also walking back those statements a
- 3:08Speaker 1: little bit today. She's saying, I also support the survivors. Now,
- 3:13Speaker 1: what everybody is talking about is how will this affect
- 3:16Speaker 1: the Harvey Weinstein case. So, what happened in the Bill
- 3:20Speaker 1: Cosby cases as well as the civil deposition, the prosecutor
- 3:25Speaker 1: brought women to testify in the case. There was five
- 3:30Speaker 1: of them. Five accusers were allowed to testify. Now, what
- 3:35Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein's lawyers are saying is something similar happened to Harvey,
- 3:40Speaker 1: and Harvey's trial was all mented from women who are
- 3:44Speaker 1: alleged past sexual misdeeds but never went to the police
- 3:50Speaker 1: or the court. My insiders are telling me the two
- 3:53Speaker 1: cases are very, very different because Harvey did not cut
- 3:57Speaker 1: a deal with the prosecutor. However, women were allowed to
- 4:00Speaker 1: testify against Harvey who had not brought these misdeeds. These
- 4:05Speaker 1: alleged misdeeds to the police or the courts before it
- 4:09Speaker 1: brings us to our pole question of the day. Bill
- 4:12Speaker 1: Cosby's sex assault conviction has been overturned. Do you think
- 4:19Speaker 1: Harvey Weinstein will be next? Yes or no? Go to
- 4:23Speaker 1: our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob or our Facebook
- 4:26Speaker 1: page which is Naughty Gossip and he's sure to check
- 4:29Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. LUPI, what are you
- 4:32Speaker 1: working on? All right? This is a really funny, kind
- 4:35Speaker 1: of crazy story, Howard Stowing his outraged his fans once again.
- 4:40Speaker 1: But it's not what you think from it's because it's
- 4:43Speaker 1: because he wants to take a summer vacation. All right,
- 4:46Speaker 1: let me explain what's going on here. So Howard is
- 4:50Speaker 1: taking the entire summer off. We would never more on
- 4:53Speaker 1: this podcast. We're gonna take a day off, We're doing
- 4:55Speaker 1: the show on on Thanksgiving, We're show on Christmas holidays exactly.
- 5:01Speaker 1: But Howard is taking the whole summer off, and in
- 5:04Speaker 1: his new deal with Serious XM, which is said to
- 5:07Speaker 1: be worth five hundred million dollars, is allowing it, all right,
- 5:11Speaker 1: So Howard negotiated a clause in his contract to give
- 5:15Speaker 1: him that break. Between June and September um. But now
- 5:19Speaker 1: serious fans, including my mom Doris, a month our outrage,
- 5:24Speaker 1: saying we want our money back. Where are you Howard
- 5:27Speaker 1: come back to work? Howard first trying to say that
- 5:30Speaker 1: he did this every summer, but then he backtracked and
- 5:33Speaker 1: said this is part of the new deals, Rob, what
- 5:36Speaker 1: do you think? I think he's outrageous. Although if this
- 5:39Speaker 1: is his deal, this is his deal. He's obviously got
- 5:42Speaker 1: a very, very loyal fan base. It doesn't feel fair
- 5:45Speaker 1: to me. So, Doris, you keep listening to that Naughty
- 5:47Speaker 1: but Night show. We will be here for you. I
- 5:50Speaker 1: hate taking the day off. I enjoy doing this show
- 5:52Speaker 1: more than the listeners enjoy listening to it. I really do.
- 5:55Speaker 1: The Naughties are brilliant, but I think I'm the number
- 5:57Speaker 1: one fan in the Naughty group. I'm a fan of
- 6:00Speaker 1: this show. It sounds arrogant, but I don't mean it
- 6:03Speaker 1: like that. I really enjoy it. And I think what
- 6:06Speaker 1: makes this even more complicated is his subscribers are paying.
- 6:11Speaker 1: It's not a free podcast like this. You pay money
- 6:15Speaker 1: for it, and if you pay for a service, you've
- 6:18Speaker 1: got to deliver the service. That's how I feel. Maybe
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm old fashioned. I have a very strong work ethic, Mark,
- 6:23Speaker 1: so do you. I think mr is just wrong. Technically
- 6:27Speaker 1: is it right, Yes, he's allowed to do it in
- 6:29Speaker 1: his contract. It's not illegal. But I think it's just
- 6:32Speaker 1: morally wrong, and it tells you really what Howard sort
- 6:35Speaker 1: of thinks of his fans. I hate it when celebrities
- 6:38Speaker 1: get bigger than they forget, they get bigger than their fans,
- 6:41Speaker 1: or they forget the only reason they have a show
- 6:44Speaker 1: is because people listen. Where are you? Mark? I feel
- 6:47Speaker 1: the same way, and listen. I'm all about taking a
- 6:50Speaker 1: summer vacation a few weeks here and there. A lot
- 6:52Speaker 1: of TV shows do it, but I don't know. I
- 6:55Speaker 1: think Howard was not someone who I thought would do
- 6:58Speaker 1: this this long break. It's you know, he's doing it
- 7:01Speaker 1: from his basement. It's like he's traveling to New York City,
- 7:04Speaker 1: like you're literally doing it to his basement. I do know,
- 7:07Speaker 1: but Rob, he is married to that really really beautiful
- 7:10Speaker 1: Beth listens to the show. I've been told a lower,
- 7:12Speaker 1: lower low, but Mark, listen to this. Let's just put
- 7:15Speaker 1: it into perspective. He's getting five hundred million dollars. Mark.
- 7:17Speaker 1: I would travel to the Moon to do the show
- 7:19Speaker 1: for that sort of money. Forget traveling into New York
- 7:22Speaker 1: from the Hampton's, which I'm sure he comes in by helicopter. Mark,
- 7:26Speaker 1: Come on the five million dollars you would run to
- 7:29Speaker 1: London naked to do this podcast? No, I will literally
- 7:32Speaker 1: do anything as you ask. I will put it away
- 7:36Speaker 1: the thought of it. Your mother's listening. How dare you moving?
- 7:38Speaker 1: A judge has denied Britney Spears's request to remove her
- 7:42Speaker 1: dad from the conservatorship. So the judge has shut down
- 7:46Speaker 1: Brittney's request right now it's happening to remove her dad
- 7:50Speaker 1: from the conservatorship, at least for an hour. So new
- 7:53Speaker 1: court documents showed that the judge has denied a request,
- 7:56Speaker 1: but this request was a month ago to remove her
- 7:59Speaker 1: father from the conservatorships. The documents do not directly respond
- 8:05Speaker 1: to last week's hearing. So last week Brittany gave that
- 8:09Speaker 1: really powerful twenty four minutes speech. The judge has not
- 8:13Speaker 1: ruled on that yet because Britney's people have not yet
- 8:17Speaker 1: filed a petition to terminate the conservatorship. As regards to
- 8:23Speaker 1: last week, it feels like her people are letting her down.
- 8:26Speaker 1: They've got to be more buttoned up after that, after
- 8:29Speaker 1: that speech, after that really passionate plea, they should have
- 8:32Speaker 1: filed it that day. What am I missing, Robert? The thing,
- 8:36Speaker 1: the only thing I can think of is that there's
- 8:38Speaker 1: something that we're not aware of with respect to how
- 8:41Speaker 1: Brittany is able to manage her life, the way that
- 8:43Speaker 1: Brittany is able to kind of go through the day
- 8:46Speaker 1: to day. And I, you know, I I see Brittany
- 8:49Speaker 1: is very gentle and very fragile right now. So I
- 8:52Speaker 1: would be worried that someone could take advantage of her,
- 8:54Speaker 1: could take advantage of her money, influence her, bring her
- 8:57Speaker 1: back to a place where she was fifteen years ago.
- 9:00Speaker 1: So while I'm disappointed at this news, I do have
- 9:04Speaker 1: some fears and concerns. I do too, But it's her money, Mark,
- 9:07Speaker 1: Like if you blow all your money, market's up to you.
- 9:09Speaker 1: It's not clever. Like if we went for drinks and
- 9:12Speaker 1: you told me you were going to do something outrageous,
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'd say, Mark, I don't think it's a good idea,
- 9:15Speaker 1: But it's your money, it's your life. You can do it.
- 9:18Speaker 1: If you wanted to kiss somebody that I thought was
- 9:20Speaker 1: not good for you, Mark, I would tell you, but
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's your choice. We talked about this on this show.
- 9:25Speaker 1: I'm really proud we were really the only show out
- 9:27Speaker 1: there saying this. It has nothing to do with Brittney's testimony.
- 9:31Speaker 1: The people that will decide whether or not the conservatorship
- 9:35Speaker 1: ends is the judge, and it will be based solely
- 9:39Speaker 1: on the doctors. This is not an emotional conservatorship. There's
- 9:43Speaker 1: something going on with Brittany that nobody's talking about. We
- 9:47Speaker 1: all know it. We're tiptoeing it around it. I worked
- 9:49Speaker 1: on her PR team for a while. Brittany has troubles.
- 9:53Speaker 1: We know this. The doctors have to say she is
- 9:57Speaker 1: capable of taking care of herself. And once they say that,
- 10:01Speaker 1: this conservator ship will end. Hey fingers crusted. Mark. What
- 10:05Speaker 1: is going on with Tamar Braxton? Oh Tamar. She's saying
- 10:10Speaker 1: that Reality TV almost killed her. Oh my gosh. Tamar
- 10:15Speaker 1: has opened up about that scary July incident when she
- 10:19Speaker 1: was found unresponsive and then rushed to the hospital. So
- 10:23Speaker 1: Tamar told People Magazine Rob that the time of her
- 10:26Speaker 1: life was so dark and heavy she didn't even know
- 10:28Speaker 1: how or what would take her to get out of
- 10:31Speaker 1: that place. She said, I didn't even know there was
- 10:34Speaker 1: another side to life, but I chose to change my
- 10:37Speaker 1: life now, Rob, people think about the Braxtons, they've been
- 10:40Speaker 1: on television for ten fifty years. It looks like a
- 10:44Speaker 1: fun time. But she said that, Um, it was not
- 10:46Speaker 1: that she was taking a bunch of pills and binging
- 10:49Speaker 1: out in the hotel room. She was just trying to
- 10:50Speaker 1: figure out how to get through Um that moment, she
- 10:53Speaker 1: said she's been on television for so many years and
- 10:56Speaker 1: that constantly being in front of the camera had really
- 10:58Speaker 1: taken a toll on her mental health. Rob. You know,
- 11:01Speaker 1: I've worked with Timar in the past. I want to
- 11:04Speaker 1: say this. I mean, anyone's struggling with mental health deserves
- 11:08Speaker 1: the treatment and the care that would get them into
- 11:10Speaker 1: a better place. Timar does have a difficult reputation. You know,
- 11:15Speaker 1: she's been known to be I don't know that the
- 11:18Speaker 1: easiest to work with. She had lost her job at
- 11:20Speaker 1: the Real many years ago. But now she's saying that, Um,
- 11:24Speaker 1: she has been dealing with feelings that were never kind
- 11:27Speaker 1: of resolved when she was sexually molested as a child,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and uh and and it's impacted her ability to kind
- 11:33Speaker 1: of move forward as an adult. What do you think?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Heartbreaking interview. I totally understand the pressures of reality TV.
- 11:40Speaker 1: We know a lot of people mark that have crashed
- 11:42Speaker 1: and burned after reality TV or even on reality TV.
- 11:46Speaker 1: What makes me nervous about this their, Tamar, because I
- 11:48Speaker 1: wish you hadn't done it on the cover of People magazine.
- 11:51Speaker 1: What's the difference between doing a reality show and being
- 11:54Speaker 1: on the cover of People magazine? Step away from the spotlight.
- 11:58Speaker 1: If reality TV nearly killed you, you shouldn't be on
- 12:01Speaker 1: the cover of People magazine talking about it. She would say,
- 12:03Speaker 1: she's doing it to help her. There's there's truth to that, Tamar.
- 12:07Speaker 1: My advice is to step away from this toxic, toxic
- 12:11Speaker 1: spotlight quickly before we go to break. Harry and William
- 12:15Speaker 1: are going to have their reunion today, so they're going
- 12:18Speaker 1: to meet in the gardens at Kensington Palace to unveil
- 12:21Speaker 1: the statue of their mommy on what would have been
- 12:24Speaker 1: her sixty birthday. Sources are telling me that they're going
- 12:28Speaker 1: to put on a really professional front, but behind the scenes,
- 12:32Speaker 1: things are really, really, really bad here. It makes me sad.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I think they're pros that this goodness knows these two
- 12:40Speaker 1: little boys were forced were asked to march behind their
- 12:45Speaker 1: mommy's coffin when they were so young. So if they
- 12:48Speaker 1: can do that, they can stand together, they can unveil
- 12:50Speaker 1: a statue. It's not going to be a fight. No
- 12:53Speaker 1: one's gonna punch one another. It's going to be fight dull.
- 12:55Speaker 1: In fact, a lot of people are going to read
- 12:57Speaker 1: into it. But my sources are telling me be behind
- 13:00Speaker 1: the scenes. It is not good. Hey, before we get
- 13:03Speaker 1: a break, Mark, I'm told you had quite a little
- 13:06Speaker 1: pride event this weekend. What were you up too, sweetie?
- 13:09Speaker 1: You gotta glow? M hm. So I ended up at
- 13:11Speaker 1: Jessie Smallott's birthday party. I know it was every day.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It was at a private luxury apartment for the second Street.
- 13:20Speaker 1: It wasn't his apartment, it was one of his close friends.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I take up the elevator. My name was at the door.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I got up the elevator, I opened the door. Everyone
- 13:28Speaker 1: is gorgeous, gorgeous. How many people, like twenty people, lots
- 13:35Speaker 1: of gays. And then there's Betty Smith, of course from
- 13:39Speaker 1: an honorary gay, and that they had a bartender and
- 13:42Speaker 1: just seemed like in great spirits. He was smiling laughing
- 13:45Speaker 1: taking pictures, and you know, he seemed like we had
- 13:48Speaker 1: no cares in the world what's happened because all that
- 13:50Speaker 1: drama went down, remember in Chicago, all that legal drama.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He's trying to make a comeback to think called what
- 13:56Speaker 1: was he up to? You know, I think he is
- 13:58Speaker 1: trying to make a comeback. I think that he still
- 14:00Speaker 1: has a long way to go in the case. He's
- 14:02Speaker 1: still he's meeting with the judge again in July. But um,
- 14:05Speaker 1: you know, there are supporters of his in the in
- 14:07Speaker 1: the Hollywood sphere and uh and I think his friends
- 14:10Speaker 1: to his his regular normal friends who were not in
- 14:12Speaker 1: the spotlight also support him. And you know, it seems
- 14:15Speaker 1: like he just wants to move on with his life.
- 14:17Speaker 1: When you were invited to the party with the mark,
- 14:19Speaker 1: You're not coming as a reporter, youre as a guest.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Did they say anything, because I've been to those type
- 14:23Speaker 1: of parties, particularly celebrities that are in trouble, and I'm
- 14:26Speaker 1: not meant to say anything. Did they say anything to you?
- 14:29Speaker 1: To be asking? Well, even it gets better? So my
- 14:31Speaker 1: friend invited me and I just didn't say anything. You
- 14:35Speaker 1: not really invited you with the plus one was the plus,
- 14:37Speaker 1: so they probably didn't want you there. Oh no, he
- 14:40Speaker 1: was not a press event. It was a private party
- 14:43Speaker 1: on forty two Street. Was it in Silver Tawer's one
- 14:46Speaker 1: of those big old, fabulous, big new buildings, fabulous of
- 14:49Speaker 1: views were unreal? Thirty third floor? Oh my god? Was
- 14:54Speaker 1: he worried about being around people? He was taking pictures,
- 14:58Speaker 1: he was laughing, he was dream thinking. I smiled at
- 15:01Speaker 1: him a little bit, but I didn't want to out
- 15:05Speaker 1: myself as a reporter, so I just kind of like
- 15:07Speaker 1: I was watching it and observing, and what is the takeaway? Mark?
- 15:10Speaker 1: What was the takeaway? The takeaway is that he seems
- 15:13Speaker 1: like a really nice guy who is in a sticky
- 15:16Speaker 1: situation that he might have caused himself TBD. And I
- 15:20Speaker 1: guess we'll see what happened, you know, but sort of brash.
- 15:23Speaker 1: If I was in trouble with the law, I wouldn't
- 15:25Speaker 1: be throwing parties in Silver Tabers Street, you know what
- 15:28Speaker 1: I mean. He's not hiding It's funny. So on Instagram
- 15:32Speaker 1: he posted about it, and then in the location he
- 15:34Speaker 1: tagged himself as minding my own business. Okay, what was
- 15:39Speaker 1: he minding his own business? Book business? Or was I
- 15:43Speaker 1: minding him show. Jessie, if you're listening, we're going to
- 15:49Speaker 1: take a quick break and we will be right back.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Welcome back to the you've just blowing my my, hey,
- 16:01Speaker 1: let's get to the poles. Did you kiss him? Mark?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Did you kiss him? I probably would have honestly persecute,
- 16:10Speaker 1: and the whole legal drama wouldn't bother you. It would
- 16:14Speaker 1: bother me. But I had a few vakasodas that point. Whateverppy, sloppy,
- 16:20Speaker 1: loopy Doris. It's so embarrassing that marksmy hey, let's get
- 16:23Speaker 1: to the polls. Thank you, Mark, it's such a ridiculous fanfare.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Calton under what is distancing himself from the Bachelor? Is
- 16:31Speaker 1: there's a good idea or a bad idea? Wow? A
- 16:33Speaker 1: D five said it's a good idea, get away from it,
- 16:36Speaker 1: get away from that show. I think it's a bad idea.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I never go against the majority. But this is what
- 16:41Speaker 1: you're famous for, Colton. It's hard to wort to move on.
- 16:44Speaker 1: What do you think it's? So it's it's I'm divided
- 16:47Speaker 1: because he is famous for that. But now he's pivoting
- 16:50Speaker 1: to a new part of his life. So he's going
- 16:53Speaker 1: to be on that Netflix show and maybe he'll think,
- 16:56Speaker 1: maybe he'll maybe he'll rediscover fame in a new way.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I think you're always
- 17:02Speaker 1: going to be the gay bachelor. No, I think that's
- 17:04Speaker 1: what I'm gonna like When I look at you now,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, Colton, he was the gay bachelor, like
- 17:08Speaker 1: the gay virgin bachel virgin closeted bachelor who wasn't invited
- 17:13Speaker 1: to a birthday party on forty two Street. Okay, don't
- 17:16Speaker 1: forget to vote thereulous, don't forget to vote on today's poll.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob on Facebook page Naughty
- 17:24Speaker 1: Gossip and me sure to check back tomorrow to hear
- 17:27Speaker 1: your results. And now it's time for the nicest of
- 17:31Speaker 1: the day. What are you got? It's Ariana Grande. She's
- 17:37Speaker 1: giving away one million dollars in free therapy. I absolutely
- 17:41Speaker 1: love this, Rob blah blah love this. That's right. So
- 17:44Speaker 1: along with Better Help, which is an online counseling provider.
- 17:47Speaker 1: And by the way, I use it myself to say
- 17:50Speaker 1: that I've been using has it been helpful for you?
- 17:52Speaker 1: I love my therapist. Shout out to Brian, a lovely guy.
- 17:57Speaker 1: But Arianna took the Instagram and announced the partnership, and
- 17:59Speaker 1: she's encouraging others to seek help with their mental health.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And she acknowledges that she had problems when her concert
- 18:07Speaker 1: when there was a bombing in Manchester, that she had
- 18:10Speaker 1: PSTD after that and she had to seek professional help.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So I love the message, I love the sentiment, and
