- 1:03Speaker 6: A reading from Fifty Shades of Grey from John Jay's
- 1:07Speaker 6: Mexican Aunt Rosita.
- 1:10Speaker 7: He sighed, sliding beside me and pulled me into his arms.
- 1:17Speaker 7: Careful not to touch my stinging behind. We are spooning,
- 1:21Speaker 7: spooning again. He kissed me softly beside my ear. Why
- 1:27Speaker 7: don't you like to be touched? I whispered, starting up
- 1:31Speaker 7: into soft grey eyes. Because I'm 50 shades of f * * *
- 1:36Speaker 7: up shades, I don't know.
- 1:38Speaker 3: No sé ni cómo se llama esta cosa. This has
- 1:41Speaker 3: been Aunt Rosita. Poor lady's got dementia. I know, it's
- 1:47Speaker 3: so sad.
- 1:48Speaker 2: And it's International Day of Listening. Day of Listening. And International,
- 1:56Speaker 2: this is interesting, International Country Music Day. And I don't
- 2:01Speaker 2: know what this means, but it's International Time's Up.
- 2:04Speaker 3: For you, day. Time's up. That's what day it is.
- 2:08Speaker 6: It's time for us to go to the drunk dial
- 2:09Speaker 6: line or the talkback feature. It's talkback, drunk dial, same thing.
- 2:13Speaker 6: So what you do is you can call us at 602-888- 1933,
- 2:19Speaker 6: and leave us a voicemail of whatever's going on in
- 2:22Speaker 6: your world. Let's say you're at a bar, someone's hitting
- 2:23Speaker 6: on you, you can give them the number and they
- 2:24Speaker 6: can call us, or you're drunk and you just want
- 2:26Speaker 6: to say stupid stuff on a voicemail, we'll get it.
- 2:28Speaker 6: You can also tap the iHeart app, the little microphone,
- 2:32Speaker 6: and leave us a talkback, and we'll play that back
- 2:34Speaker 6: for you.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Here's a couple.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Okay, you guys are.
- 2:36Speaker 2: So busy, it's hard to get through, because you're so popular.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Here's a couple more jokes for.
- 2:40Speaker 3: You, okay? So what do you call a guy with
- 2:43Speaker 3: three legs?
- 2:45Speaker 5: Price it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: What do you call a guy with two legs?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Lean beef.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Man, I could love you some rum right now. National
- 2:52Speaker 3: Rum Day on Wednesday.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:56Speaker 3: My friend, how about you just pull your mouth a
- 2:58Speaker 3: little further away from the microphone? It's very difficult for
- 3:00Speaker 3: me to hear. A little hard to hear. Very difficult.
- 3:02Speaker 6: Hey, Mickey, you're so fun.
- 3:04Speaker 2: You're so fun. You blow my mind.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Hey, Mickey.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Hey, Mickey.
- 3:07Speaker 7: Okay.
- 3:09Speaker 3: That was it.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Good morning, guys.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Just wanted to give you a heads up on dogs
- 3:14Speaker 1: and eating stuff.
- 3:15Speaker 6: We picked up a dog from you guys, like, back
- 3:18Speaker 6: in 2018 at the.
- 3:20Speaker 1: The first love pup.
- 3:22Speaker 3: Yeah, at the first love pup at Vertucci Farms, and
- 3:25Speaker 3: she eats everything.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Everything.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Like, everything.
- 3:27Speaker 1: And I can't tell you what she doesn't eat, because
- 3:30Speaker 1: that's not anything.
- 3:31Speaker 3: She eats underwear, shorts, socks.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Hats, shoes, and food.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I was going to say, she sounds like she's more
- 3:39Speaker 3: into clothing than anything else. So a couple of things.
- 3:42Speaker 6: The next Family Fest is November 7th at Vertuccio Farms
- 3:46Speaker 6: at 4 p.m. And I was telling you guys about
- 3:49Speaker 6: comedian Joe Coy. He's got a great comedy special and
- 3:52Speaker 6: he does about 20 minutes on his rescue dogs.
- 3:54Speaker 3: They're really funny, very funny.
- 3:56Speaker 6: But I had to tell you, we have a dog, Pablo,
- 3:58Speaker 6: that we adopted from Kyle's father-in-law, Pablo. Amazing dog. My wife,
- 4:04Speaker 6: and I guess a lot of people do this. I
- 4:05Speaker 6: didn't know this. But my wife, because it's so hot,
- 4:08Speaker 6: she takes Pablo to the mall. And there's a bunch
- 4:12Speaker 6: of people walking dogs at the mall. Have you heard
- 4:13Speaker 6: of this before?
- 4:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I see Nick do it all the time.
- 4:15Speaker 4: With his dogs?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Yeah, with their dogs. And as a person who doesn't
- 4:20Speaker 5: love to have dogs around me all the time, I
- 4:22Speaker 5: be hating on those people sometimes.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I get it's so hot, but like.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It's a great.
- 4:28Speaker 6: When you say you see Nick do it all the time, what.
- 4:30Speaker 3: Do you mean?
- 4:31Speaker 4: Are you at the mall?
- 4:32Speaker 5: No, his wife posted on her Instagram that they take... Betty,
- 4:35Speaker 5: Betty Waffle out on little walks.
- 4:36Speaker 6: What's funny is when my wife told me, I said, Nick,
- 4:39Speaker 6: I just saw your wife do that. I didn't on Instagram,
- 4:41Speaker 6: but you see it all the time. They make it
- 4:44Speaker 6: seem like they post it every day. That's how it
- 4:46Speaker 6: seems sometimes. I've only seen it one time. But I
- 4:48Speaker 6: had never heard of that before. So I said to
- 4:49Speaker 6: my wife, I go, that's pretty amazing. She goes, yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 6: there's people that are walking their dogs. The coffee shops
- 4:53Speaker 6: are open and some of the restaurants are open, but
- 4:55Speaker 6: the stores aren't. So you go early in the morning.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 4:58Speaker 4: There's less people there.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and then there's people that are exercising, people walking
- 5:02Speaker 6: their dogs. So she took Pablo there yesterday. And Pablo's walking.
- 5:06Speaker 6: He's generally a really good dog. He's such a beautiful dog,
- 5:09Speaker 6: happy dog.
- 5:09Speaker 3: And boom, he stops and drops a turd.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Uh-oh.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Right there in front.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Of the friggin'. I figure that's going to happen if
- 5:16Speaker 2: you're walking your dog in the mall.
- 5:18Speaker 3: It's going to happen, right? I don't know.
- 5:20Speaker 6: I just figured that your dog would poop beforehand. It's
- 5:23Speaker 6: something I don't know. And then I tell Nick about
- 5:25Speaker 6: it and Nick's like, he cleaned up. He was walking
- 5:27Speaker 6: his dog and another dog, a dog had pooped in
- 5:31Speaker 6: front of the Gucci store and no one picked it up.
- 5:33Speaker 5: That's why I like kind of hate about it. Like
- 5:36Speaker 5: that's kind of, that's really gross.
- 5:38Speaker 4: It's actually like, cause you know, they're not like mopping
- 5:41Speaker 4: in between. Exactly.
- 5:42Speaker 5: So like if I'm shopping till I drop, I don't
- 5:44Speaker 5: want to accidentally step in poo.
- 5:46Speaker 4: You probably are.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly, which is why I'm kind of judging.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Even if it's cleaned up, it's not like they have
- 5:50Speaker 4: like 409 or some sort of spray with them.
- 5:53Speaker 5: When have you ever seen one of those little gazebos
- 5:55Speaker 5: go through that mall?
- 5:56Speaker 8: Never.
- 5:56Speaker 3: I think it's a great service they offer, especially when
- 5:59Speaker 3: it's so hot. You mean Zamboni?
- 6:00Speaker 4: Yeah, whatever those are called.
- 6:01Speaker 3: The Zamboni machine?
- 6:02Speaker 5: The things that clean the floor.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Okay, well, the Zamboni machine is for ice hockey rinks.
- 6:07Speaker 4: You've seen the ones that clean floors. It's like a
- 6:10Speaker 4: mini Zamboni. Yeah, it's like one of those things.
- 6:12Speaker 3: I used to push one of those around a grocery store.
- 6:13Speaker 3: They're awesome.
- 6:14Speaker 8: I just pulled up to work, and this conversation has
- 6:17Speaker 8: me so triggered as a millennial. I am very tired
- 6:19Speaker 8: of the side part disrespect.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I understand.
- 6:22Speaker 8: I feel fully aware that center parts are in. But
- 6:25Speaker 8: I need all the little Gen Z babies to know
- 6:28Speaker 8: that trends do not circumvent symmetry. So if you look
- 6:31Speaker 8: better with a side part, please rock a side part,
- 6:33Speaker 8: because some of you are out here looking like the
- 6:35Speaker 8: mom from Adam's family.
- 6:37Speaker 6: Yes!
- 6:37Speaker 4: Morticia is not bad.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Jesus.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Like a boss.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Yeah, because we were talking about why the millennials and
- 6:46Speaker 6: Gen Z and that side part and part down the middle.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Everyone's face is different.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Symmetry.
- 6:52Speaker 5: I am rock with what makes you feel good.
- 6:54Speaker 3: So that's what you do.
- 6:55Speaker 6: You can leave us a talk back on the free
- 6:56Speaker 6: iHeartRadio app. Just download it for free. Or you can
- 6:58Speaker 6: call us at 602-888-1933.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Good morning. John Jane Rich. Who's this? Hi.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I don't really want to give my name.
- 7:05Speaker 7: Okay.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Because I have a story. What are you calling for?
- 7:08Speaker 1: What did you find out after you'd been married for
- 7:10Speaker 1: 10 plus years?
- 7:11Speaker 3: Oh, okay. What did you find out after you'd been
- 7:13Speaker 3: married for 10 plus years?
- 7:15Speaker 8: It wasn't me. It was my mom.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It came out that my dad was gay.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Oh.
- 7:20Speaker 1: After being married.
- 7:21Speaker 4: For 22 years.
- 7:21Speaker 8: Wow.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And you feel like you wish you had known that.
- 7:24Speaker 1: And he hadn't been in their entire marriage.
- 7:26Speaker 3: And then what? Did he leave her and be in a.
- 7:29Speaker 7: No, he actually, he left, but then he wouldn't divorce
- 7:33Speaker 7: her because he wanted to stay together.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Oh, he wanted his, like, companions.
- 7:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 1: He wanted to keep up the image of they were
- 7:40Speaker 1: this perfect religious couple. Oh.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Oh.
- 7:46Speaker 4: And then how was your mom through that whole process?
- 7:50Speaker 1: She finally got to the point where she had to
- 7:52Speaker 1: hire an attorney just to get divorced because he would
- 7:54Speaker 1: not let her divorce them.
- 7:56Speaker 3: So he was like seeing guys on the side?
- 7:58Speaker 1: Yeah, for their entire marriage. And I actually, I'm their
- 8:01Speaker 1: oldest child, and I had a boyfriend kind of early on,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and my dad owned his own business, and he was like,
- 8:08Speaker 1: there is something really weird about your dad and that
- 8:12Speaker 1: one employee. And I'm like, I don't know what you're
- 8:14Speaker 1: talking about. Like I didn't see it, but he's like,
- 8:16Speaker 1: there's something weird. And so come to find out 10
- 8:20Speaker 1: years later, that was.
- 8:21Speaker 5: One of his boyfriends.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 8:24Speaker 4: That's a bomb.
- 8:25Speaker 3: All right.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I don't know. It was just an interesting story.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Nice to know. Very interesting. Thanks for calling in.
- 8:31Speaker 5: Thanks.
- 8:32Speaker 4: Bye.
- 8:32Speaker 3: See, that's a live drunk dial. That's a live talk back.
- 8:36Speaker 3: That's right.
- 8:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:36Speaker 3: You could also just call us live. 877-937-1047.
