- 1:24Speaker 1: we like to go straight to the chase. So for
- 1:27Speaker 1: those persons that are not as familiar, and I really
- 1:29Speaker 1: would like to give thanks and praise to the One
- 1:32Speaker 1: most High, living each daily for the One most divine
- 1:35Speaker 1: and doing it tomorrow. Yes you can. We're right here together.
- 1:41Speaker 1: We should be here together, and you should be able
- 1:43Speaker 1: to hear me, but you'll come into the studio in
- 1:46Speaker 1: a moment. Just keep in mind that when we speak
- 1:50Speaker 1: of our speaks, we're speaking of ancestral sacred traditions. We're
- 1:55Speaker 1: speaking of our ancestral sacred traditions and asking that those
- 2:01Speaker 1: persons that are listening have an open mind, have an
- 2:05Speaker 1: open heart, and be willing to listen as well as
- 2:12Speaker 1: share and learn, and we encourage people go to the
- 2:14Speaker 1: YouTube pages for the crew podcasts. You can also look
- 2:17Speaker 1: at some of our speaks at YouTube. This will be
- 2:21Speaker 1: rebroadcast there as well. As speaks and cinder Ra Kahina
- 2:26Speaker 1: on Facebook, and I really encourage persons to take some time,
- 2:31Speaker 1: take some moments, take moments of reflection that allow for
- 2:35Speaker 1: us to speak about learn about ways in which we
- 2:40Speaker 1: build a new legacy, ways in which we reflect and
- 2:44Speaker 1: commemorate the important affairs that are of concern in the
- 2:51Speaker 1: wider region. The Korean civilization is definitely moving in the
- 2:58Speaker 1: direction of enlightenment, of transformation. There's been conversations on transforming
- 3:06Speaker 1: Caribbean Americas. There's been conversation around transforming our guties in
- 3:13Speaker 1: ways that allow for us to really speak truth to power.
- 3:17Speaker 1: So with that, I'd like to welcome my guest, a
- 3:22Speaker 1: returning guest. I would go as far as to say
- 3:25Speaker 1: more like a co host hair my beloved spirit sister,
- 3:30Speaker 1: not a fothier of the Sankofier community, village, niation, society, lifestyle,
- 3:38Speaker 1: and much much more that is in Jamaica. So you
- 3:42Speaker 1: have a little bit of Jamaica hair grounded in Akan
- 3:46Speaker 1: traditions coming out of our West Africa, Global Africa experience.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And I really would like for us to just say
- 3:55Speaker 1: a greetings, greetings, not Apothia, thank you so much for
- 3:59Speaker 1: making time to join us on Us Speaks, where we
- 4:02Speaker 1: get an opportunity to speak of knowledge, power, prosperity, wealth,
- 4:09Speaker 1: full African traditional spirituality and much much more. Give thanks.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Are you able to hear us? Uh? Oh? I do
- 4:23Speaker 1: not think our sister is hearing us. So let's see
- 4:28Speaker 1: what is going on here. Yes, I'm hoping that you're
- 4:43Speaker 1: hearing us, but if you're not hearing us, that's something
- 4:46Speaker 1: new on my end or your end. You should go
- 4:53Speaker 1: ahead and speak, can we? Because we were hearing you
- 4:56Speaker 1: before Nana Popier. So while we're working out why we're
- 5:04Speaker 1: not hearing her, which is something that's relatively new, let
- 5:09Speaker 1: us put that energy up and running because we should
- 5:17Speaker 1: be hearing we're seeing as she's online, and please speak
- 5:22Speaker 1: because we were just hearing you. While I'm working through that,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm going to take a moment in play one of
- 5:42Speaker 1: our selections and that should give us a moment to
- 5:48Speaker 1: bring some truth to power, some energy.
- 6:00Speaker 2: You come. We love you, okay, is.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Shocked you perfect? So we're gonna listen to this song
- 6:12Speaker 1: for one moment hearing each other. We know the truth.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Car We've searched down look to lift our minds off
- 6:23Speaker 3: for Europe some still don't understand.
- 6:27Speaker 4: How much.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Greeting sister queen. Are you able to hear us?
- 6:32Speaker 2: Now?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Okay? For some reason, you're not hearing me. But I
- 6:39Speaker 1: hear you, all right, because I hear you and sure bad, perfect,
- 6:56Speaker 1: So keep speaking wonderful so you can hear me.
- 7:01Speaker 2: I'm not hearing you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Interesting. I'm not sure why you're not hearing me. I
- 7:12Speaker 1: have my I'm not hearing you, okay, give me.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Let me check again.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yes, it's yeah, I hear you, though.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It's turned up high.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Interesting? Really interesting?
- 7:30Speaker 2: What else there is to do? Everything seems to be
- 7:34Speaker 2: in order.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you keep speaking, but I'm not hearing you.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Okay, okay, output.
- 7:47Speaker 5: Not hearing you. M hm.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Mm hmmm.
- 7:56Speaker 2: I'm just clicking here and clicking there.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I that's funny.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Is that any better?
- 8:11Speaker 1: Okay? For my listeners, I'm not sure if you are
- 8:15Speaker 1: able to hear me. I'm not sure what is really
- 8:18Speaker 1: going on here?
- 8:19Speaker 4: So I have tried.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Now? You're not hearing me? Well.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Part of our challenge tonight has been some of the
- 8:40Speaker 1: let me see what's happened? Okay? Did you open from
- 8:45Speaker 1: a different device, my sister? Okay, let's see how we
- 8:52Speaker 1: can address this.
- 8:55Speaker 2: So for those that are.
- 8:56Speaker 1: Viewing, those that are listening, we were in the process
- 8:58Speaker 1: of having a conversation with non Appopia of the Sancopier
- 9:05Speaker 1: community out of Jamaica, African traditional community that really brings
- 9:12Speaker 1: truth to power or truth ass power around African traditions.
- 9:18Speaker 1: So we're gonna see if we can get her to
- 9:20Speaker 1: come out and.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Uh, doctor Chian, it's a problem. She can't hear you. Yeah, okay,
- 9:30Speaker 4: So have she checked her settings or she on the
- 9:32Speaker 4: phone or a computer.
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm on the phone, Okay, you need to check. I'm sorry,
- 9:39Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm on the laptop. I'm on the laptop.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Okay. Well make sure you don't have any other browsers open.
- 9:45Speaker 2: No, I don't as far as I can see.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Okay, go to your settings and check right, Go.
- 9:53Speaker 2: To settings and then do what if you look.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Up on the go to settings and check your audio.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Yeah, audio, I see everything in place here for the
- 10:05Speaker 2: audio and his responding. Even as I am speaking, I
- 10:10Speaker 2: had already checked that echo cancelation, auto gain background. Yes,
- 10:24Speaker 2: everything seems to be okay in the in the in
- 10:26Speaker 2: the audio.
- 10:27Speaker 4: Okay, Well, you might just want to go out and
- 10:29Speaker 4: come back in because I'm not sure why.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Why Yes, but you can hear I'm hearing you very clearly,
- 10:36Speaker 2: but you can't hear Doctor Chen. But I can't hear
- 10:39Speaker 2: doctor Chen.
- 10:40Speaker 4: Wow, So you need to go out and come back in.
- 10:45Speaker 2: All right, let me do that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Fantastic moment. Wow. So to my viewers and listeners, we
- 10:54Speaker 1: appreciate your patience as we work out some of our
- 10:57Speaker 1: technical issues. We're looking forward to being able to continue
- 11:02Speaker 1: the broadcast of our speaks with your host, Queen Mother
- 11:07Speaker 1: Doctor Chen zero, and hopefully our guests will return post
- 11:13Speaker 1: haste and we will be able to have sound and
- 11:17Speaker 1: everything in accordance as we desire and as we need to.
- 11:21Speaker 4: So I want to make.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Sure that I highlight that to the best of our
- 11:26Speaker 1: failing and I would like to extend my thanks to
- 11:31Speaker 1: the crew podcasts lead post and technical engineer Sister Queen
- 11:39Speaker 1: Angela for just working with us and working through this
- 11:43Speaker 1: so that we're able to have a really robust, engaging conversation.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Can you hear me now? Wonderful? Wonderful. So with that,
- 11:54Speaker 1: we're going to start one more time. If you can
- 11:57Speaker 1: bring her in to the platform, Sister Queen Angela, that
- 12:01Speaker 1: would be appreciated, and you can hear us now none
- 12:06Speaker 1: and folk very well, very well, wonderful. So now that
- 12:09Speaker 1: we have covered that, we come again, so again welcome
- 12:14Speaker 1: to us Speaks, where we really have engaging conversations on
- 12:19Speaker 1: conversations around knowledge, power and prosperity.
- 12:23Speaker 2: So the sound has gone again. If you can hear me,
- 12:27Speaker 2: I can hear you, that's Queen Angela.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Mm hm.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Hmmm mm hmm. Okay, yeah, we hear you.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I know I hear you.
- 12:53Speaker 1: So maybe what I'll do is maybe I'll come out
- 12:55Speaker 1: and come back. Will that work? Let me try to
- 12:58Speaker 1: come out, come back it, let me come out? Mm
- 13:15Speaker 1: hmm okay, okay. What she came off on gratings greetings,
- 13:48Speaker 1: Can you hear me?
- 13:50Speaker 5: Okay, I got in, you disappeared. I hear you both now, okay, okay, yes,
- 14:09Speaker 5: So let's just when.
- 14:10Speaker 2: You started talking earlier, when you started again, the voice
- 14:13Speaker 2: went again.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Okay, so let's keep it going until it doesn't. Let
- 14:17Speaker 1: us here. I really would like to extend my thanks
- 14:20Speaker 1: to our viewers and listeners who are joining in a
- 14:23Speaker 1: conversation around affairs that are impacting our Caribbean spaces and
- 14:28Speaker 1: that are impacting our humanity. And with that being shared,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I would like to welcome nan A Fofier of the
- 14:36Speaker 1: Sankofia community. And as I expressed earlier, for those that
- 14:40Speaker 1: didn't hear it, there's a lot that comes with the
- 14:43Speaker 1: Sankofia community. So greetings, not a Fofia, please share with
- 14:47Speaker 1: us a bit about yourself and about the community, and
- 14:50Speaker 1: then we can go into our conversation.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Greetings and gratitude, my sister. There is just so much
- 14:56Speaker 2: going on now, and yes, it's it's a time for talk.
- 15:00Speaker 2: It's a time for conversations. It's a time to decide
- 15:03Speaker 2: how we're going to go and how we're going to come.
- 15:06Speaker 2: So Sanko Fier is a spiritual organization, and I should
- 15:10Speaker 2: say Saint Andrew the Passion said Andrew Jamaica. We are
- 15:15Speaker 2: trying to relearn who we are with the hope that
- 15:20Speaker 2: we can walk into that reality. We have been shaped
- 15:24Speaker 2: and formed in so many different ways and molded so
- 15:27Speaker 2: differently to how we really ought to have been molded.
- 15:34Speaker 2: We have walked away from our ancestral ways, or ancestral
- 15:37Speaker 2: knowledge or ancestral practices. We've walked away from what is
- 15:43Speaker 2: prudent and the capacity to see when to go and
- 15:50Speaker 2: how to go. We have walked away from so much,
- 15:54Speaker 2: and now we are kind of reaping the concert quences
- 16:00Speaker 2: of many decisions that we made, and many decisions that
- 16:03Speaker 2: we did not make, but you know, made by others
- 16:08Speaker 2: for us as humanity, decisions that we have made used
- 16:12Speaker 2: just now humanity. So at Sankofe, we are seeking to
- 16:16Speaker 2: relearn ourselves. We are seeking to relearn our ancestral ways.
- 16:20Speaker 2: We're seeking to see how we can become and how
- 16:25Speaker 2: we can transcend even the becomings. We're trying to see
- 16:28Speaker 2: how we can reclaim ancestry, heritage, we can see how
- 16:33Speaker 2: we're trying to see how we can surpass the legacy
- 16:38Speaker 2: that we have here today and to recreate that into
- 16:43Speaker 2: a legacy that we can leave that will serve our
- 16:46Speaker 2: generations to come. So we are trying. There's so much
- 16:50Speaker 2: we don't know, but there is so much we're getting
- 16:52Speaker 2: to know. And we, yes, we honor our not knowing,
- 16:57Speaker 2: but we're honoring also our knowing, our walking into some
- 17:01Speaker 2: understandings of spirit, spirituality and how this served those who
- 17:07Speaker 2: walked ahead of us, who were you know, really the
- 17:09Speaker 2: sages and the scientists and everything of yesterday. Nothing we
- 17:14Speaker 2: do today started today, And that is such a phenomenal
- 17:19Speaker 2: understanding because it gives us the opportunity to go back
- 17:23Speaker 2: to look to see how we can rebalance now for
- 17:27Speaker 2: a better future, you know, a future that transcends so
- 17:31Speaker 2: much of what the past was, a future that kind
- 17:33Speaker 2: of puts us back on a trajectory in terms of
- 17:36Speaker 2: where we were heading as a people and where we
- 17:39Speaker 2: were taking you know, meanings and understandings of existence and
- 17:44Speaker 2: means and understandings of humanity into a future that you know,
- 17:49Speaker 2: we want to see from spirit world. We want to
- 17:53Speaker 2: see our descendants, our sentence, as I often say, thriving,
- 17:58Speaker 2: not just surviving, but thriving. I look at present time,
- 18:04Speaker 2: what's happening in our global community? And when I say community,
- 18:10Speaker 2: I'm using many the definition of community from our African
- 18:15Speaker 2: spiritual systems, and so I talk about a global community,
- 18:20Speaker 2: and that global community is a space where we actually
- 18:23Speaker 2: owe something to each other and where reciprocity is the
- 18:30Speaker 2: name of the game. In some you know, we're coming
- 18:33Speaker 2: and going and we're giving and taking and thriving together.
- 18:38Speaker 2: And our giving and taking has to do with mending, building,
- 18:42Speaker 2: healing communities from traumas from past hurts, from present situations,
- 18:49Speaker 2: and seeing how we can move that to a better
- 18:53Speaker 2: space where we can actually start seeing the impacts of
- 18:59Speaker 2: what we call community. I've always said the black man
- 19:01Speaker 2: is strongest when he exists in his collective, you know,
- 19:06Speaker 2: not as a unit, but as a some of many units.
- 19:12Speaker 2: And that's when we get very strong.
- 19:14Speaker 1: You know.
- 19:15Speaker 2: We talk about the Nances web and all of that
- 19:19Speaker 2: intertwined to give you something that can hold an animal strongly.
- 19:24Speaker 2: And if we think of ourselves as you know, the
- 19:27Speaker 2: intricate aspects of the web, and we weave all of
- 19:31Speaker 2: that together as a community, as a collective, then there's
- 19:35Speaker 2: no limit to the strength the support as a limit
- 19:38Speaker 2: to what we can do and how we can recreate
- 19:41Speaker 2: and co create the reality that of the world we want. So, yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 2: those are some of my dreams and aspirations and saying
- 19:51Speaker 2: who I am you So I'm a I'm a child
- 19:55Speaker 2: of the ancestors of this land, that Culturemaico, I will say,
- 19:59Speaker 2: and I really my interest in seeing how we can
- 20:02Speaker 2: move together and accommodate, how we can move into community
- 20:10Speaker 2: through accommodation, through compassion, through deeper understandings of divinity, and
- 20:19Speaker 2: how we are juxtaposed with all of these different aspects
- 20:23Speaker 2: and elements of life.
- 20:25Speaker 1: Right, And I'm grateful that you are able to still
- 20:29Speaker 1: hear me. Yes, yes, very good, very good, very good,
- 20:34Speaker 1: because a lot of what you're sharing, and I'm very
- 20:36Speaker 1: grateful for you placing your individual soul, self spirit work
- 20:44Speaker 1: in the body of the society, the community of scope
- 20:49Speaker 1: and the connection that that has was a wider ancestral
- 20:54Speaker 1: sacred African space, and how that relates to what's happening
- 20:59Speaker 1: in our Caribbean space, and how there are cistern and
- 21:02Speaker 1: brethren who are using ancestral sacred traditions after African sacred traditions,
- 21:11Speaker 1: to be more forward acting, forward thinking and definitely using
- 21:20Speaker 1: our respectful alliance, our respectful veneration for our ancestors in
- 21:29Speaker 1: the work they we're doing. So, whether it's to look
- 21:31Speaker 1: at what's happening in Sudan that has shifted from outright
- 21:36Speaker 1: terrorism more to now natural disasters causing the lives of
- 21:42Speaker 1: the lives of thousands of people, whether it's in the
- 21:46Speaker 1: Congo where for the quest courage, the quest for resources,
- 21:52Speaker 1: and the quest for the raping, the continuous raping of
- 21:57Speaker 1: Central Africa, and that entire region, people, land, minerals, wealth,
- 22:04Speaker 1: and much more, and how that's being handled or mishandled,
- 22:08Speaker 1: I should say the same thing in regard to what
- 22:11Speaker 1: is happening, you know, persons reflect on what is happening
- 22:15Speaker 1: in Palestine where the world is witnessing genocidal terrorism at
- 22:19Speaker 1: its highest in the twenty first century in that space,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and that even the humanitarian efforts to support and help
- 22:29Speaker 1: the persons there has been thwarted or interfered with or
- 22:33Speaker 1: blocked in a very inhumane, unjust, outright demonic, diabolical form.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And then to bring it in this region in regard
- 22:43Speaker 1: to the possibility of outright warfare, in regards to the
- 22:49Speaker 1: quest appearing as it's starting from a space of going
- 22:55Speaker 1: after drug traffickers and stopping drug trafficking and drug cartels
- 23:01Speaker 1: and Venezuela, when in actuality, some of the most fierce
- 23:06Speaker 1: engaging drug cartels, traffickers and supporters of that industry are
- 23:12Speaker 1: not are nowhere near Venezuela, right, But because of the oil,
- 23:17Speaker 1: the resource, of the destabilization of the Venezuelan sovereign republic, right,
- 23:25Speaker 1: there's a lot. So I really was hoping that as
- 23:30Speaker 1: we're reasoning and we're speaking of spirit and we're speaking
- 23:34Speaker 1: of maintaining our Caribbean spaces. Mind you, we have errors
- 23:39Speaker 1: and issues happening here. And yes we've got our own
- 23:43Speaker 1: internal warfare happening in many respects. In crime has been
- 23:47Speaker 1: an issue. But the intention is to keep the Caribbean
- 23:51Speaker 1: as a zone of peace, not bringing in warships, submarines
- 23:57Speaker 1: and air war machinery and troops into this region under
- 24:03Speaker 1: the guise of something else, when in actuality it appears
- 24:07Speaker 1: it's not just a drug cardsils, drug trafficking piece that's
- 24:10Speaker 1: being sought after. That's the facade in the front, but
- 24:14Speaker 1: it's to go after mineral wealth to be stabilize this.
- 24:19Speaker 2: And you know, we chose our conversations relative to what
- 24:24Speaker 2: is going on in the space. But supposing we were
- 24:27Speaker 2: not in a period of war as is happening now,
- 24:31Speaker 2: supposing you know, there was actually more peace now than war.
- 24:36Speaker 2: Right now there's perhaps more war than peace, or coming
- 24:40Speaker 2: very close to that. You know, the balance certainly has shifted.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I don't think we'll ever get to a place where
- 24:46Speaker 2: there's one hundred percent piece or a place where there's
- 24:49Speaker 2: a hundred percent war, because one defines the other so
- 24:53Speaker 2: there is the coexistence of what we call peace and war.
- 24:58Speaker 2: One of the things that I shifted is the nature
- 25:00Speaker 2: of what we call peace and war today. It was
- 25:02Speaker 2: nothing like like you know, when we were growing up,
- 25:06Speaker 2: if you heard there was there was some going on here,
- 25:08Speaker 2: then the nature of it has definitely changed. I mean,
- 25:11Speaker 2: when did it become okay for children's lives to be
- 25:16Speaker 2: part of your navigation in a war situation? When did
- 25:19Speaker 2: that become okay? When that when did that even become possible?
- 25:22Speaker 2: When did that even become something that somebody would think
- 25:24Speaker 2: to do or beginning begin to think, begin to consider,
- 25:29Speaker 2: to think that that could happen, that a war could
- 25:32Speaker 2: involve well, children's lives. That is certainly new for me
- 25:37Speaker 2: in terms of I mean that that really just hit
- 25:39Speaker 2: my psychic in a way that you know, I'm wondering
- 25:43Speaker 2: if I'm actually mentally damaged in somewhere or psychically damaged
- 25:46Speaker 2: in somewhere, because that hits so hard. And you ask
- 25:50Speaker 2: the question, if we talk about humanity, these children now,
- 25:54Speaker 2: who are five years old or even say ten years old,
- 25:59Speaker 2: when they get to be twenty and thirty, what would
- 26:03Speaker 2: they have known? And therefore we say we live what
- 26:06Speaker 2: we learn and learn what we live. You know, you're
- 26:09Speaker 2: doing the two. So what will their world when they
- 26:13Speaker 2: create the reality of a world, what will that look like?
- 26:17Speaker 2: Because this is what they know now, this is what
- 26:18Speaker 2: they're feeding on. You know, you're birstfeeding on the rum
- 26:23Speaker 2: as it is right now, even though the babe on
- 26:26Speaker 2: the breast. So what kind of humanity are we talking
- 26:31Speaker 2: about a few years from now, not long from now?
- 26:35Speaker 2: What will humanity be looking like? What will be doing
- 26:38Speaker 2: as human beings? Even and it becomes a very almost
- 26:44Speaker 2: like personal consideration for me because at the start of
- 26:47Speaker 2: this year twenty twenty five, that was one of the
- 26:50Speaker 2: things we were asked to consider by you know, by spirit.
- 26:54Speaker 2: What does it mean to be human? And that's a
- 26:57Speaker 2: human being? How do you consider that you should be
- 27:02Speaker 2: part of any kind of organization, whether it's a government
- 27:06Speaker 2: or any other kind of organization that will really reduce
- 27:13Speaker 2: life to you know, it's okay. So, so supposing these
- 27:17Speaker 2: people are just drug traffickers. Supposing they're not, you just
- 27:21Speaker 2: go out and kill them anyway? Is it okay? Supposing
- 27:24Speaker 2: there were in fact drug traffickers, is it okay to
- 27:27Speaker 2: just go to m bomb and take lives. Suppose you
- 27:30Speaker 2: see the person trafficking the drug? Is that? How we
- 27:35Speaker 2: do We have to remember that all of us don't
- 27:38Speaker 2: have a hell to send people to. It's not all
- 27:41Speaker 2: of us in my seritual system. We don't have a hell,
- 27:44Speaker 2: so we can't condemn somebody to any kind of a
- 27:47Speaker 2: health We have to think about rehabilitation. We have to
- 27:52Speaker 2: think about repurposing ourselves as human beings in more useful ways.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Somebody do something, you don't get up and kill them,
- 28:01Speaker 2: or you just get them and condemn them to some
- 28:03Speaker 2: sort of reverb both kinds of situations. We have to
- 28:06Speaker 2: talk about. This is a community member, this is a
- 28:09Speaker 2: member of the global community. How do we maintain community?
- 28:12Speaker 2: What's our first interest or first service? I am confused,
- 28:16Speaker 2: I will tell you, and I am I am. I
- 28:18Speaker 2: am existing with It's almost a threat of sanity because
- 28:23Speaker 2: I get a wondering, why am I sitting here when
- 28:26Speaker 2: there's all of this other stuff going on in my community?
- 28:29Speaker 2: Because I am part of this global community. Why am
- 28:32Speaker 2: I not there walking the streets saying no, this cannot be.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Why am I not there holding some of those children?
- 28:38Speaker 2: Why am I not there? How do we sit down
- 28:41Speaker 2: every day, and we eat food and digest it. Our stomachs.
- 28:45Speaker 2: Don't get you into turmoil knowing that all that this
- 28:50Speaker 2: is happening there, what do we do? What do we do?
- 28:56Speaker 2: This is our Caribbean waters, and let me tell you,
- 28:59Speaker 2: these are powerful waters because these waters don't divide us
- 29:02Speaker 2: as a Caribbean people. These waters keep us together. They
- 29:06Speaker 2: join us together. Some people look at waters as they're like, no,
- 29:11Speaker 2: these waters are joining us together as one Caribbean people.
- 29:16Speaker 2: And somebody would want to come in close to our waters. Okay,
- 29:21Speaker 2: so you're in international waters. But wherever you are, it
- 29:23Speaker 2: gives you the right to take people's life, no matter
- 29:26Speaker 2: how wrong or right that pep person is. How did
- 29:29Speaker 2: we get here where we just thought it was just
- 29:31Speaker 2: so okay to take somebody like oh yes, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 2: well they're all dead. Really, where did that even come from?
- 29:39Speaker 2: What were the decisions we made that led us know
- 29:43Speaker 2: to have these kinds of consequences when in our own psyche,
- 29:47Speaker 2: we are not flinching, We're not wincing at the thought
- 29:51Speaker 2: and hearing people say these things. We are not curling
- 29:54Speaker 2: up and dying inside because we can eat and to
- 29:57Speaker 2: bed and sleep.
- 30:01Speaker 1: That's a good point though, it's and that's when you're
- 30:05Speaker 1: saying it like that, you're making all of us reflect
- 30:08Speaker 1: on that humanity that we speak about. When you have
- 30:13Speaker 1: leaders that are encouraging the support of acts of violence
- 30:20Speaker 1: very blatantly, when you have leaders that think that it's
- 30:24Speaker 1: okay to show the bombing of a of a community,
- 30:30Speaker 1: of village, of space, of a vessel in the sea
- 30:36Speaker 1: to encourage the importance of having warfare against entities that
- 30:41Speaker 1: may not even be the entities that you should be
- 30:43Speaker 1: encouraging this type of engagement with. You know, how do
- 30:47Speaker 1: you actually bring truth as power? And we're encouraging persons
- 30:52Speaker 1: that are listening and viewing as we finally got you know,
- 30:55Speaker 1: our Speaks broadcast on Place Here with the Crew podcast
- 31:00Speaker 1: on these first and third Thursdays at eight pm. You know,
- 31:04Speaker 1: if you have questions or you have comments on this
- 31:07Speaker 1: broadcast that's happening live now, you know, share them. You Know,
- 31:10Speaker 1: when we say hotel, we're saying peace. You know, we're
- 31:13Speaker 1: coming in peace, We're coming in tranquility. And at the
- 31:16Speaker 1: same time, we have to be very clear, very honest
- 31:19Speaker 1: with one another that what is taking place is they're
- 31:24Speaker 1: shamming humanity to think just like how persons were very
- 31:28Speaker 1: comfortable and remain very comfortable saying that it is okay, yes,
- 31:33Speaker 1: for genocide to happen in certain parts of the world.
- 31:38Speaker 1: And mind you, it's okay to have leaders that are
- 31:42Speaker 1: convicted of felony charges determining the actions against humanity. That is,
- 31:49Speaker 1: this is just inhumane that are being able to be
- 31:55Speaker 1: forced to tolerate acts of war, acts of terror, acts
- 32:00Speaker 1: of genocide. But then on the other side of their mouth,
- 32:03Speaker 1: the other side of their face, because this is not
- 32:06Speaker 1: fork tongue. This is like multitalent. You know, this is
- 32:09Speaker 1: like the Predator, you know in Predator that film. Those
- 32:12Speaker 1: that know what I'm speaking of, It wasn't like a
- 32:14Speaker 1: fort tongue that came out the entire job space opened
- 32:19Speaker 1: up and went into multiple directions. You know, this is inhumane,
- 32:24Speaker 1: and this is the time where our silence is no
- 32:28Speaker 1: longer useful. It's one thing to be silent and let
- 32:34Speaker 1: time be longer than twine. But right now our silence
- 32:39Speaker 1: must cease. There has to be actions. There has to
- 32:43Speaker 1: be a quest of not just negotiations, but the type
- 32:47Speaker 1: of negotiations that are they are imperative. This is not
- 32:53Speaker 1: this is a matter of life or the urgency of
- 32:57Speaker 1: minimizing war US in this region is imperative. The organizations,
- 33:03Speaker 1: whether persons are comfortable with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States,
- 33:08Speaker 1: the Organization of American States, the Caribbean Pan African Network,
- 33:12Speaker 1: the Eastern Caribbean, the Eastern excuse me, the Eastern Caribbean Organizations,
- 33:19Speaker 1: CARA comm and all of these other entities, whether it
- 33:22Speaker 1: is the Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad and Tobago. We're
- 33:26Speaker 1: hearing from the various Caribbean peace movements in the region.
- 33:33Speaker 1: No one desires to see warships coming into Caribbean spaces
- 33:40Speaker 1: as well as international spaces under the guise of there
- 33:45Speaker 1: has to be another solution besides bombing or of making
- 33:50Speaker 1: it appear and creating the fear mongering of bombing and
- 33:54Speaker 1: dropping ships in the sea.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Yes, one of the things we don't think about. You know,
- 34:06Speaker 2: I go simply gold basic have a very simple mind.
- 34:09Speaker 2: I think things like this, As I just said, we
- 34:13Speaker 2: are in the Caribbean. The Caribbean waters join us together.
- 34:16Speaker 2: When we start allowing certain kinds of vessels coming to
- 34:20Speaker 2: we are going to the stage where now we're gonna
- 34:22Speaker 2: see us being divided. That's not the intention of the waters.
- 34:25Speaker 2: We are to be joined together. We are to be
- 34:28Speaker 2: joined together. So anything that comes in and divides us
- 34:32Speaker 2: is going to cause disruption. We're gonna start going against
- 34:35Speaker 2: each other rather than working together. All of this CACM
- 34:38Speaker 2: thing is gonna fall apart because cara com was intended
- 34:41Speaker 2: to be a togetherness. We start allowing things to come
- 34:44Speaker 2: in and divide us is we will not survive that.
- 34:48Speaker 2: We will not be in our area of strength. We
- 34:51Speaker 2: will not be working as a collective for the benefit
- 34:54Speaker 2: of all, will become individual like like crabs in a bag.
- 34:59Speaker 2: One is everybody pulling down, pulling down so nobody can
- 35:02Speaker 2: get out. We won't be making decisions for the collective good.
- 35:07Speaker 2: And we are not understanding these basic basic principles. We're
- 35:12Speaker 2: not understanding this. You don't allow something from outside to
- 35:16Speaker 2: come in to divide you like that. Or waters have
- 35:20Speaker 2: connected us. The water is more powerful than all of
- 35:23Speaker 2: those forces. While we are allowing these people to come
- 35:28Speaker 2: in now to divide us. We have been so powerfully connected.
- 35:32Speaker 2: How does that work? We talked to you, You mentioned
- 35:34Speaker 2: just now about you know, governments, organizations, leaders, leaders, what
- 35:39Speaker 2: the word you use, and whether these leaders are governments
- 35:42Speaker 2: or organizations. You know, we just had had elections in Jamaica,
- 35:47Speaker 2: and this morning we woke up and you know, the
- 35:49Speaker 2: same government is in power. And as you know, people
- 35:52Speaker 2: are calling, calling, and I said to them, the number
- 35:55Speaker 2: of people. You know, I am not so worried about this.
- 35:58Speaker 2: What I'm worried about is that we are not realizing
- 36:04Speaker 2: that the only power that these leaders can use is
- 36:07Speaker 2: the power we give them.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Say that one one more time. That's the one that
- 36:12Speaker 1: people need to hear. Please say that one one more time. Please.
- 36:15Speaker 2: We are the only the people are the only party
- 36:18Speaker 2: in power. The people, the citizens, the communities. We are
- 36:25Speaker 2: the party in power. The other people, the people we
- 36:29Speaker 2: put up there as leaders. They're agents. They cannot use
- 36:34Speaker 2: what we do. We don't give them to use. They
- 36:36Speaker 2: cannot do what we don't want to do them to do.
- 36:38Speaker 2: We I had to go put my finger that that
- 36:41Speaker 2: dipping my finger into I had to do something for
- 36:44Speaker 2: that person to sit there and talk. Who do they
- 36:47Speaker 2: think they are? But who do we think we are?
- 36:50Speaker 2: Because we obviousten, I'm not thinking that we are the
- 36:53Speaker 2: ones whosh your guide and direct these people. They're all
- 36:58Speaker 2: agents we have giving them agency. That's taking our finger
- 37:01Speaker 2: somewhere and say you stay out and you stay in,
- 37:05Speaker 2: because whether they go in or they go out, we
- 37:07Speaker 2: decide that by one finger going into some ink. Do
- 37:13Speaker 2: we understand the power of that? Do we understand that
- 37:16Speaker 2: that is the power and we are the ones who
- 37:18Speaker 2: have it? And those are issues. It doesn't really matter
- 37:23Speaker 2: which party is in power, because the power is ours.
- 37:28Speaker 2: They're in our power, So how they we think they're
- 37:32Speaker 2: it don't matter which one they're supposed to be doing
- 37:34Speaker 2: our bidding right. And I think everybody call it manifesto.
- 37:40Speaker 2: Where's the manifest You have a paid manifest or jailp
- 37:43Speaker 2: manifest or whatever the parties are. Where's the Jamaican manifesto?
- 37:46Speaker 2: Where's the Jamaican manifesto? Where's a plan that says ten
- 37:50Speaker 2: years for them, fifteen years, then fifty years. Then this
- 37:53Speaker 2: is where Jamaica will be. We'll have this number of schools,
- 37:55Speaker 2: We'll have ninety percent of our children leaving school able
- 37:59Speaker 2: to read. We'll have business and whichever party goes in
- 38:02Speaker 2: power in that place, that's the plan. And if you
- 38:07Speaker 2: are not executing that plan and executing it, well you're
- 38:10Speaker 2: gonna find yourself sitting on the curb next selection or before.
- 38:15Speaker 2: What are we thinking? Since not about the leaders? What
- 38:19Speaker 2: about us, each and every one of us? What are
- 38:23Speaker 2: we doing? What are we allowing? Do we realize we
- 38:30Speaker 2: are the ones who have the power. You know, I
- 38:35Speaker 2: don't quarrel about Trump. Trump has been given a mandate.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Can you imagine that? M And he's up there doing
- 38:45Speaker 2: what he's allowed to do.
- 38:48Speaker 1: M h.
- 38:50Speaker 2: He is up there doing what he's allowed to do
- 38:55Speaker 2: his own community plus the global community, and nobody is
- 38:59Speaker 2: saying no, listen.
- 39:00Speaker 4: No, this is not how it works.
- 39:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 39:06Speaker 1: I think that people are not telling the ultimate truth,
- 39:12Speaker 1: that this is a time when we are to you know,
- 39:18Speaker 1: in the in the political diplomatic space, it's you know, negotiation,
- 39:25Speaker 1: having professional reason reasonings and making sure Because one thing
- 39:31Speaker 1: that I was very grateful to read and see in
- 39:35Speaker 1: various social media, you know, various vetted journalists journalists reports
- 39:43Speaker 1: was the fact that at leads through care Com, I
- 39:46Speaker 1: have not seen the formal official communicate from care Comm
- 39:51Speaker 1: Secretariat on these matzos. However, respective members, Ministers of Foreign Affairs,
- 39:58Speaker 1: as well as representatives of various ministerial leadership posts in
- 40:05Speaker 1: Cara com specifically, you know, Barbados as well as others
- 40:10Speaker 1: have made it clear that their concern is to ensure
- 40:14Speaker 1: that whatever this interaction is, this intervention is from the
- 40:19Speaker 1: US specifically geared and directed towards Venezuela and its destabilization
- 40:25Speaker 1: in the in the name of protecting the region from
- 40:29Speaker 1: drug trafficking and cartels, et cetera, which we know is
- 40:33Speaker 1: not accurate.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Even if it were. Who was giving you the authority
- 40:37Speaker 2: to come to protect my country from drug traffic on?
- 40:40Speaker 4: Hello for you.
- 40:44Speaker 2: So in that authority to come to protect my country.
- 40:50Speaker 1: When you feel that you are, because the other part
- 40:54Speaker 1: that's happening is that America and its infinite wisdom back
- 41:00Speaker 1: in the early twentieth century, they made sure because this
- 41:06Speaker 1: was always the intention, to maintain that imperialist capitalists authority
- 41:14Speaker 1: in the region. They made sure that they kept colonies,
- 41:18Speaker 1: whether they call them nice terms like nonincorporated, non self
- 41:21Speaker 1: governing territories, whether they call them commonwealths or whatever. And
- 41:26Speaker 1: they created military presence on men. So whether it's Guam, Samoa,
- 41:34Speaker 1: Pico or the Virgin Islands, they made sure that they
- 41:39Speaker 1: had present or even in Cuba to Mike from Young
- 41:46Speaker 1: I US. I'm just saying from young I used to
- 41:51Speaker 1: ask that question, how can you have an embargo on
- 41:53Speaker 1: a country that you don't allow this, that, and the
- 41:56Speaker 1: other to come to that country? You controlling or thinking
- 42:00Speaker 1: you can control the activities in that country and their
- 42:02Speaker 1: relationship with people are surrounding them in that independent, sovereign country.
- 42:08Speaker 1: But then you have the audacity and nerve and boldness
- 42:12Speaker 1: and obviously permission to be able to keep a base,
- 42:15Speaker 1: a military base there where you're saying that even the
- 42:18Speaker 1: people in that country of Cuba cannot go to that
- 42:22Speaker 1: area in that base and you have it fenced out.
- 42:25Speaker 2: That's correct, But as I tell you, I keep think simple,
- 42:28Speaker 2: I keep think simple. Tell me how you can have
- 42:31Speaker 2: a game in your country that you're the only one
- 42:33Speaker 2: playing the game and you call it World Cup or
- 42:35Speaker 2: World something that one and what does your psyche? I mean,
- 42:39Speaker 2: what kind of psyche is that?
- 42:40Speaker 1: It's a psyche that in.
- 42:43Speaker 2: Participating and it's a World something, world game or a
- 42:46Speaker 2: World Cup.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Yes, and it's a psyche that creates terrorism and tolerance
- 42:55Speaker 1: for genocideal fascism. I want persons to hear, because we're
- 43:00Speaker 1: talking about that you can that only your military matters.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Only your position and perspective matters, So whether or not
- 43:08Speaker 1: it creates instability amongst people that are forced into a
- 43:13Speaker 1: space of fear, into a space of not even accepting
- 43:18Speaker 1: their own sovereign rules of engagement, that they will turn
- 43:24Speaker 1: on their own. When I started to see this connection
- 43:29Speaker 1: of going into Venezuela and then recently seeing the camaraderie
- 43:33Speaker 1: and solidarity that exists with certain Cara Com countries that
- 43:38Speaker 1: are sovereign republics, as well as their relationships with Venezuela,
- 43:43Speaker 1: Colombia and Cuba, in particular, watching the Venezuelan flag and
- 43:50Speaker 1: the Cuban flag alongside one another in certain spaces, showing
- 43:57Speaker 1: their solidarity. Because what is happening is that some of
- 44:00Speaker 1: these so called world powers are using a facade of
- 44:05Speaker 1: drug trafficking and drug cartels and other ills that they know.
- 44:11Speaker 1: None of us want to see people exposed to drug trafficking,
- 44:15Speaker 1: in any form of drug trafficking.
- 44:18Speaker 2: No, no, one of us also want to say a
- 44:19Speaker 2: lot of people dead, that one, that one taking life,
- 44:24Speaker 2: that one did we give life that one. You can't
- 44:28Speaker 2: restore life if it's gone, and you can rehabilit rehabilitate
- 44:31Speaker 2: the drug people or put them you know where they belong.
- 44:35Speaker 2: But once you take a life, that's it. We're gonna
- 44:37Speaker 2: day so sorry when you discovered that nothing was going on.
- 44:40Speaker 2: Sorry okay, oh, I'm so sorry.
- 44:44Speaker 1: And the impact this has on children, and I want
- 44:47Speaker 1: to highlight that because you said something very very well.
- 44:51Speaker 1: All of what you said is very poignant and on
- 44:53Speaker 1: point and eloquent in giving us, as you say, simple
- 44:57Speaker 1: and I like to say, be giving us the brass,
- 45:00Speaker 1: given us the truth, keeping things in truth, justice, order, reciprocity, balanced, divine, righteousystem, harmony.
- 45:06Speaker 1: The children that are experiencing these forms of terrorism and
- 45:11Speaker 1: genocidal chaos right now are going to grow up. They're
- 45:18Speaker 1: not baling them.
- 45:20Speaker 2: They're not knowing nothing else about.
- 45:22Speaker 1: This, and so what they know, what they're going to
- 45:26Speaker 1: bring to the earthplane ten years, twenty years, thirty years
- 45:32Speaker 1: or more from now is going to be some of
- 45:34Speaker 1: the same issues.
- 45:37Speaker 2: And you know, if it was the same, it is
- 45:39Speaker 2: so bad. But they're going to be perfecting ways of
- 45:41Speaker 2: killing people because nothing stays the same. This legacy that
- 45:45Speaker 2: that have, no they're going to improve on it and
- 45:48Speaker 2: leave that for the next generation. They're going to fan
- 45:50Speaker 2: of figure out out to kill children more efficiently. Yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 2: I mean rather than bombing maternity wards. They will find
- 45:57Speaker 2: ways to yeah, to do that. I mean, they're going
- 46:01Speaker 2: to be improving on all of this because nothing stays
- 46:03Speaker 2: the same. And that's the part we're not lamenting that,
- 46:08Speaker 2: we're not seeing that. No, we're not saying that this
- 46:11Speaker 2: has to stop. No, you know what, we've already lost.
- 46:15Speaker 2: We've probably lost the next the next three generations of
- 46:19Speaker 2: the of those people you know, right, right, right.
- 46:25Speaker 1: And that's what's really challenging at this time because even
- 46:29Speaker 1: in the conversations you know, we've been having, there's a
- 46:31Speaker 1: lot of a lot of engagements. Perfect example, while this
- 46:36Speaker 1: is going on and it's affecting African people in the
- 46:40Speaker 1: Caribbean civilization spaces, there is a there is a directive
- 46:46Speaker 1: coming from cara Com member states and their leaders regarding
- 46:51Speaker 1: that before the US is to do anything in this region,
- 46:56Speaker 1: they have to confer with the Caribbean region and their leaders.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Even if you have one leader over Saw saying kill
- 47:06Speaker 1: them violently, even if you have another leader over Sau
- 47:09Speaker 1: saying we support that. You know, the troops need to
- 47:13Speaker 1: come into the region and we're going to support them
- 47:16Speaker 1: because it's going to help our economy. When I heard
- 47:20Speaker 1: an entity in the Caribbean put that in print, in newspaper,
- 47:31Speaker 1: social media platforms and make it seem like it was
- 47:34Speaker 1: some type of humor driven we're going to benefit from
- 47:39Speaker 1: the presence of troops in the region. They're going to
- 47:43Speaker 1: spend their money here, They're going to And I said,
- 47:47Speaker 1: I don't think persons understand the nature of war in
- 47:51Speaker 1: this region. The last time that happened, it was not
- 47:56Speaker 1: with a very good outcome Grenada point, it did not
- 48:02Speaker 1: look favorable for the people of Grenado to this day,
- 48:07Speaker 1: to this day, and persons need to and remember that
- 48:10Speaker 1: was the other piece that they were what was it
- 48:12Speaker 1: they were communists or they were Marxists, whether they were
- 48:15Speaker 1: or not, and they came with it. They're going to
- 48:18Speaker 1: destabilize the region, and some of our own ignorantly accepted
- 48:25Speaker 1: that coming from a world power that is about dominion
- 48:30Speaker 1: and about military right, even if it's not right. Just yeah,
- 48:35Speaker 1: So like today, there was a number there's been a
- 48:38Speaker 1: number of throughout the region, a number of solidarity rallies,
- 48:45Speaker 1: activities in support of restoring some semblance of peace and order.
- 48:52Speaker 1: You can't strip off people's economy, mash up their ability
- 48:57Speaker 1: to deal with trade and economic growth. And then when
- 49:01Speaker 1: their life situation is so challenging and people are having
- 49:07Speaker 1: difficulty with food and survivability as it has been imposed
- 49:12Speaker 1: in the people of Cuba, imposed on the people of
- 49:16Speaker 1: Venezuela and other parts of the region of the Caribbean Americas,
- 49:20Speaker 1: and then you want to just come and bring I'm
- 49:23Speaker 1: gonna keep saying this submarines, the Navy, the marines, the
- 49:30Speaker 1: air force, and the army into the region. What happened, Well,
- 49:37Speaker 1: where's all this humanitarian, peaceful negotiation that happens. And how
- 49:42Speaker 1: come they're not doing that in Europe? How come they're
- 49:45Speaker 1: not doing that amongst the entities that are dismantling the
- 49:48Speaker 1: very core. That's what I'm trying to get to. I'm
- 49:51Speaker 1: trying to.
- 49:53Speaker 2: The last time we had a mass movement of people
- 49:58Speaker 2: coming into the region, when the Spaniards came, and then
- 50:05Speaker 2: when the British came after we had these I call
- 50:08Speaker 2: them mass movements. We had these groups of people moving
- 50:10Speaker 2: into our areas. We haven't learned from what happened. Then
- 50:15Speaker 2: four hundred, four hundred years of slavery ensued, and we
- 50:18Speaker 2: haven't learned from that, we're still thinking it's quite all
- 50:20Speaker 2: right for people to come into our space. The last
- 50:25Speaker 2: time a body of people from somewhere came here, moved in,
- 50:33Speaker 2: eventually took over. What happened to the people who inhabited
- 50:37Speaker 2: the space and also the ones they brought in to
- 50:44Speaker 2: serve their purposes. We are not learning well we something is,
- 50:51Speaker 2: something is very strange.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Something.
- 50:53Speaker 2: We're not connecting some dots. We're not connecting some dots
- 50:58Speaker 2: at all. We're not we not learning from the past.
- 51:02Speaker 2: We always say we learn from our past and we
- 51:04Speaker 2: learn from our mistakes. We're not learning from our past,
- 51:07Speaker 2: and so we're making mistakes no, that are not really
- 51:13Speaker 2: justified because we should have learned some lessons. When we
- 51:17Speaker 2: start letting people in our space who pretend to be
- 51:20Speaker 2: coming with some sort of authority that we didn't give them.
- 51:24Speaker 2: What happens. It didn't serve us well before, Why do
- 51:29Speaker 2: we think it will serve us well now? And why
- 51:35Speaker 2: do we think we will serve it will serve us
- 51:37Speaker 2: well now?
- 51:38Speaker 1: And See, I don't feel that the people, the grassroots
- 51:42Speaker 1: people accept believe, or know or even support that. It's
- 51:48Speaker 1: just that the people with the selective authority and power
- 51:53Speaker 1: that's given to them by the people.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Mm hmmm. So that people need to take back that power.
- 51:59Speaker 1: And that'saly and not probably that is that. That's what
- 52:02Speaker 1: we're saying because I'm gonna share power. Yeah, I'm going
- 52:05Speaker 1: to share what like, because this situation with the Prime
- 52:09Speaker 1: Minister of Trinidad and Tobago and I you know, I'm
- 52:11Speaker 1: not not it's public knowledge, you know, when you let
- 52:16Speaker 1: your emotion brain when you were in those types of positions.
- 52:22Speaker 1: And again, I've never been a prime minister, so maybe
- 52:24Speaker 1: I would say the same thing if I was vexed too. However,
- 52:29Speaker 1: in my mindset, I know that it would it would
- 52:32Speaker 1: have been with specifics. I would never just blatantly say
- 52:38Speaker 1: kill all of them violently because that gives an impress
- 52:42Speaker 1: and again in the mind of young people and not
- 52:46Speaker 1: so young people that come across and just kill them,
- 52:49Speaker 1: all of them. So that sounded like some of the
- 52:54Speaker 1: chaos that came off of the US Congressional floor where
- 52:58Speaker 1: persons were saying kill them in reference to the Palestinians
- 53:02Speaker 1: and occupied Israel.
- 53:05Speaker 2: So what we're doing is we're actually even denying the
- 53:08Speaker 2: kind of justice systems that were found It necessary to
- 53:10Speaker 2: put in place. But you know you're not. You're in
- 53:12Speaker 2: a center of proven guilty. So you go go there
- 53:14Speaker 2: and kill it. Where's the due process? Where's the due process?
- 53:19Speaker 2: It's okay to just go kill people. You don't have
- 53:21Speaker 2: to prove that they're in the center or guilty anymore, right, right.
- 53:24Speaker 1: Because that's what I thought. I thought that whatever they
- 53:26Speaker 1: were going to show, I thought they're gonna show the boat,
- 53:29Speaker 1: and I mean, and people were saying, you know, it
- 53:30Speaker 1: was AI created. Whatever was created, the message that was given,
- 53:34Speaker 1: whether it was AI created, real or not not good
- 53:38Speaker 1: was not a pleasant thing because it gave the impression
- 53:41Speaker 1: that if you in the midst of the water, because
- 53:45Speaker 1: it didn't even look like these were people that was
- 53:47Speaker 1: like running from anything, at least showed it that you
- 53:50Speaker 1: was chasing them and they didn't stole them or something.
- 53:53Speaker 2: Don't just show the boat.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Rush into the water and then you're gonna drop a
- 53:58Speaker 1: missile on them and I actually just blow up, blow
- 54:01Speaker 1: up completely.
- 54:03Speaker 4: But even if that was.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Even if that was a I generated, clearly the comments
- 54:10Speaker 2: and conversations coming out of some particular houses correct, But
- 54:15Speaker 2: we know what color they are. We're not the air
- 54:18Speaker 2: I generated.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Correct and see. So this goes to what one of
- 54:22Speaker 1: my colleagues, a very well respected lawyer, you know, legal
- 54:29Speaker 1: mind revolutionary originally from Saint Kitts Naves, you know, living
- 54:35Speaker 1: in the Virgin Islands of the US, you know, and
- 54:38Speaker 1: has contributed around this particular area of our consciousness, of
- 54:43Speaker 1: our knowledge system, of our awareness. And one of the
- 54:46Speaker 1: things that he highlighted was that and I want to
- 54:49Speaker 1: quote what he said, you know, Tourny Cardinal Mills. I
- 54:54Speaker 1: find it quite nauseating when I have to confront the
- 54:58Speaker 1: reality the but in the twenty first century, the white
- 55:03Speaker 1: supremacy regime commands such allegiance among those chosen for leadership
- 55:10Speaker 1: in the Caribbean, Africa and the Americas. For example, the
- 55:15Speaker 1: sentiments of the Trinidadian PM imagine those who follow unquote
- 55:20Speaker 1: not my words, you know, this is what's coming from
- 55:24Speaker 1: persons that have definitely a lot more skill, talented expertise
- 55:28Speaker 1: on the legality elements of what's taking place here.
- 55:32Speaker 2: Yes, we also have to look at Mexico is and
- 55:36Speaker 2: how you know that country is aligning itself. I mean
- 55:40Speaker 2: that that is an interesting country because if you look
- 55:43Speaker 2: at how you know, some people are feared in that country.
- 55:49Speaker 2: People don't even know. Some people don't even know that
- 55:53Speaker 2: there's a whole big population of black people in Mexico,
- 55:57Speaker 2: right right, And so when you think about that, how
- 56:01Speaker 2: does Mexico position itself In some certain ways, I'm not
- 56:05Speaker 2: aligned with causes that affect and I'm saying now black
- 56:10Speaker 2: people in negative ways. I mean, I don't have a
- 56:19Speaker 2: problem with each country aligning with whoever they want to
- 56:22Speaker 2: align with for their individual good. But I have a
- 56:28Speaker 2: problem when they don't see their individual good as what
- 56:32Speaker 2: is as serving the collective good. I don't when the
- 56:38Speaker 2: part of the responsibility is not to make sure that
- 56:41Speaker 2: in what I'm doing for my country, I'm also positioned
- 56:44Speaker 2: myself as one of the communities in this global space.
- 56:47Speaker 2: So when I position myself, I'm also positioning helping to
- 56:51Speaker 2: position others so that altogether we can all be well.
- 56:55Speaker 2: We can all exist in a state of harmony, a
- 56:58Speaker 2: state of peace, as much as peace, as much piece
- 57:01Speaker 2: as we can have. But how do we position ourselves
- 57:06Speaker 2: juxtaposed with each other so that we can have that
- 57:09Speaker 2: kind of liberty where people don't have to be walking
- 57:12Speaker 2: with fair where children are not being killed and exposed
- 57:14Speaker 2: to this level of violence where we are not redefining
- 57:19Speaker 2: what it means to be human, because even if you
- 57:21Speaker 2: look at the emotions of these children, if you look
- 57:23Speaker 2: at what constitutes their psyche after this, it won't be
- 57:27Speaker 2: anything like human beings have been. I don't know that
- 57:30Speaker 2: might be a good thing, probably need to be wiped out,
- 57:32Speaker 2: I redesigned. I reimagine that. But it's a rough process, right,
- 57:37Speaker 2: that's process by which to do it right.
- 57:40Speaker 1: Well, I would say that it's a process that is
- 57:44Speaker 1: in the making to reorganize how we move forward in
- 57:49Speaker 1: these times. I just won't like to compliment because I
- 57:52Speaker 1: know that our time is getting close. Because we did
- 57:56Speaker 1: get a chance, we did start a little late. We
- 57:58Speaker 1: had some technicians wanted to just highlight that, and I
- 58:02Speaker 1: like using quotations so persons don't think this is like
- 58:06Speaker 1: my personal I want to support Venezuela because I just
- 58:09Speaker 1: want to support Venezuela. But I like for us to
- 58:12Speaker 1: deal with truth and balance. And I'm not saying yes
- 58:14Speaker 1: exactly in Venezuela does not have other sides. We need
- 58:19Speaker 1: to be clear on what the people need in Venezuela.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Make sure that this effort of going after quote unquote
- 58:27Speaker 1: A war on drugs sounds very similar when they said
- 58:31Speaker 1: they were weapons of mass destruction and Iran in Ereq
- 58:35Speaker 1: and the next thing you know, there was nothing there.
- 58:37Speaker 1: But by that time they had blown up the countries. Right,
- 58:40Speaker 1: So I avoid that in the region, maybe because we
- 58:44Speaker 1: live here, but definitely because definitely, because you know, life
- 58:49Speaker 1: is very important to those of us that promote life.
- 58:52Speaker 1: But I want to highlight that there were a number
- 58:54Speaker 1: of articles in the Internationalists three sixty as recent as
- 58:58Speaker 1: yesterday a whole hoax, and I want you, I want
- 59:02Speaker 1: to share this content. Former UN Anti Drugs Agency Director
- 59:07Speaker 1: Penal Archalachi dismantles the Venezuela quote unquote narco state narrative
- 59:14Speaker 1: with thirty years, not one or five thirty reliable data quote.
- 59:20Speaker 1: During my time as head of the United Nations Office
- 59:23Speaker 1: on Drugs and Crime UNODC, I frequently traveled to Colombia, Bolivia, Peru,
- 59:30Speaker 1: and Brazil, but never to Venezuela. There was simply no need.
- 59:34Speaker 1: The Venezuelan government's collaboration in the fight against drug trafficking
- 59:38Speaker 1: as exactly a best in South America, ribled only by
- 59:43Speaker 1: Cuba's impeccable record. This makes Trump's narrative of a narco
- 59:48Speaker 1: state in Venezuela sound like geopolitically yahated slander. The twenty
- 59:54Speaker 1: twenty five World Drug Report tells a story that is
- 59:57Speaker 1: the opposite of the narrative settled by the Trump administration.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: Peace by peace, the report dismantles the geopolitical lie built
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: around the Cartel de los Solis, an entity as mythical
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: as the larchiness monster, but which is useful for justifying sanctions, blockades,
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: and threats of military intervention against a country which incidentally
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: sits on one of the planet's largest oral reserves. I
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: go seek here so that when we have these verses
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and people want to speak of Venezuela need to be
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: blown up or whatever and kill all of them, and
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: that kind of foolishness. You need to do your research.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: Don't just listen to one side or the situations. Yes, okay,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: make sure the thing is.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: I'm thinking of that. As human beings, we have to
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: draw some lines somewhere. When does it ever become right
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: to kill children? When does it ever become right to
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: pregnant women? And the slave plantations they used to dig
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: holes so they could put the woman to light. Down
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: and put her belly in the hole to whip her.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: And we thought that was bad. Now they're just killing
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: the pregnant women, all right. Did we ever give ourselves
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: to say that that was okay? My position? You know,
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: I said, whenever we start killing children pregnant women, everybody
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: is wrong. Nobody can tell me that they have a
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: case and that they're in the right. When you start
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: killing children, you start killing pregnant everybody is wrong. Even
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: I am wrong. How do I sit down and let
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: that happen? Everybody is wrong when children, when children are
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: putting those kinds of positions, everybody is wrong.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: So with that, my sister and I know that I
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: want to thank you for making time to join us
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: this evening. We know that we kill the treasure, going
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: over and over and going longer. We are grateful that
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: we are asking for persons to pray for peace and action.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Make your actionable, deliverable restoring peace. The Caribbean, with all
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: of its issues, has always been regarded as a zone
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: of peace and moving in that direction of a zone
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: of peace, of not bringing warfare in this region. So
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: do what you can. Speak to your leaders, whether you
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: elected them, selected them, or appointed them or even didn't
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: want them there. Encourage them to find not just negotiation,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: but quote unquote diplomatic means to minimize killing children, killing women,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: killing men, killing, destroying, dismantling families. It's one thing to
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: do with deportation, especially deportation, deporting people to countries they
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: don't even come from and have no connection to, because
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you're trying to create your own greatness, which is not
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: so great, right, but at least let us restore humanity.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Let us restore our shared humanity to the best of
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: our ability. And I want to thank you and I
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: with my pleasure to.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: Share with you and to be part of this conversation.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: I think we really need to be having so many
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: conversations which bring action, which bring even understanding.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: I'm grateful and gay that I cannot even give words.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Thank you so much, my spirit sister in this life
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: of any others non appropiate of the Signofia community. And
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: as we always start, culture heals humanity. Land is our
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: foundation and spiritual harmony unifies us. We encourage our listeners,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: those that are within airshot, honor your ancestors, call on
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: them to give us guide so that the almighty would
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: get us through this as we restore our zones.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Yes, we give thanks.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I feel them on my shoulder.
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Begging me to drop bombs like bull How's a cultural more.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: The insist that I use my gifts.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: How's the lyricister beare witness in the past, present and
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: future of African greatness and always plays emphasis on the
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: beauty of blackness, and never digress into the common connotation
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: of my color with blackness. Tell the people the truths
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: like blackness, direct them to the prove but African genesis,
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: and be a port through which they cannotccess the inner
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: Emperor and the inner Empress card. It's the duty of
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: every man and every woman to man in presscard in flesh.
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: So we honored the body crategory and the Rua kardash.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: We say he Masalama lecum job blessed calls this poem
- 1:05:15Speaker 3: and the arrest for the ancestor
