Latest / The Vault: The Epstein Files / Judge Sullivan Receives Epstein Files After DOJ Runs Out the Clock
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past few weeks, we've been talking
- 0:07Speaker 1: about the battle between Katie Fang and the Department of
- 0:10Speaker 1: Justice over some unredacted Epstein files that she claims should
- 0:16Speaker 1: have been made public. And after failing to get the
- 0:18Speaker 1: information she was looking for using the Freedom of Information process,
- 0:23Speaker 1: she decided to escalate things and file a lawsuit. Well,
- 0:27Speaker 1: the judge ruled in her favor. And after that ruling,
- 0:31Speaker 1: the DOJ, led by Todd Baby Billy Blanche, has been
- 0:35Speaker 1: slow-walking the process for as long as humanly possible. Unfortunately
- 0:39Speaker 1: for Todd Blanche, Judge Emmett Sullivan is not the one.
- 0:43Speaker 1: And after ruling in favor of Katie Fang, he expected
- 0:46Speaker 1: the DOJ to comply. And of course, in typical Todd
- 0:50Speaker 1: Blanche DOJ fashion, they tried to have a workaround. They
- 0:54Speaker 1: tried to avoid handing over the information that was ordered
- 0:58Speaker 1: to be handed over. But after a lot of pressure
- 1:01Speaker 1: from the court, those documents have now been handed over
- 1:05Speaker 1: to Judge Emmett Sullivan. So today, we have an article
- 1:09Speaker 1: from Alternet and the headline, Blanche surrenders unredacted Epstein files
- 1:14Speaker 1: within minutes of judge's deadline. This article was authored by
- 1:19Speaker 1: Adam Lynch. President Donald Trump's interim AG, Todd Baby Billy Blanche,
- 1:25Speaker 1: appears to have given up the ghost on hiding information
- 1:28Speaker 1: That could potentially out cohorts. Of convicted Jeffrey Epstein. Well
- 1:34Speaker 1: that would be nice huh? Isn't that the whole entire goal?
- 1:37Speaker 1: I thought the whole entire point. Was for some transparency.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So we could see what happened. Who was involved? Who
- 1:43Speaker 1: made the decisions? Have we gotten any of that information?
- 1:47Speaker 1: Instead we keep getting the run around. Without even getting
- 1:50Speaker 1: a reach around. Reporter Katie Fang recently grabbed a huge
- 1:55Speaker 1: win against Blanche and his crusade to keep the Epstein
- 1:58Speaker 1: files under wraps. After months of stalling by the Trump
- 2:02Speaker 1: administration and ignoring the letter of the new law demanding
- 2:05Speaker 1: the release of the sex traffickers files, U.S. District Judge
- 2:09Speaker 1: Emma G. Sullivan demanded insight on Trump's longtime friendship. Sullivan
- 2:14Speaker 1: sided with the former MSNOW show host Fang in her
- 2:17Speaker 1: lawsuit demanding the Trump administration adhere to the Epstein Transparency Act.
- 2:23Speaker 1: That seems a bit out of pocket, no? I thought
- 2:25Speaker 1: that this administration was the most transparent administration in the
- 2:29Speaker 1: history of America. Isn't that what we were told? Well,
- 2:32Speaker 1: this administration is the most transparent administration you're ever going
- 2:36Speaker 1: to see. Meanwhile, back here in reality, they're fighting tooth
- 2:41Speaker 1: and nail to defend the network of a human trafficking
- 2:45Speaker 1: child molester. And look, I know the DOJ has been
- 2:48Speaker 1: in bed with some very bad people in the past,
- 2:50Speaker 1: but this is a step too far. If you want
- 2:53Speaker 1: to get into bed with some kind of mafia guy, cool.
- 2:56Speaker 1: And you're going after other mafia dudes, great. You motherfuckers
- 3:01Speaker 1: let this dude do what he did for all these years,
- 3:04Speaker 1: let all these people get hurt, and now you're acting
- 3:06Speaker 1: like you had nothing to do with it? Like nobody
- 3:09Speaker 1: knew what Epstein was? Like nobody was running him? Come on.
- 3:13Speaker 1: It's rather obvious that Jeffrey Epstein was being protected. The
- 3:17Speaker 1: only question at this point is by who? And unfortunately,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I doubt we're ever going to know. Because if you
- 3:25Speaker 1: think that the files that the DOJ has are the
- 3:28Speaker 1: only Epstein files in existence, you're going to be in
- 3:31Speaker 1: for a big surprise. Because the DOJ and the FBI, well,
- 3:35Speaker 1: they have the crumbs. But Langley and the CIA, they
- 3:40Speaker 1: have the cake. Fang predicted on Wednesday that Blanche, Trump's
- 3:44Speaker 1: former personal defense attorney, would try to get an appeal
- 3:47Speaker 1: to stall the release of the redacted information But she
- 3:50Speaker 1: acknowledged that this would be very difficult because Judge Sullivan
- 3:54Speaker 1: had already denied on two occasions to get a stay
- 3:58Speaker 1: or a delay in having to comply. Like, why would
- 4:01Speaker 1: the DOJ need a stay? Why would they need another pause?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Don't they have everything they need? Don't they know what
- 4:09Speaker 1: they have in their possession? Didn't they spend hours going
- 4:11Speaker 1: through it? Isn't that what they told us? Oh, we
- 4:14Speaker 1: pulled the lawyers from all different divisions and everybody went
- 4:17Speaker 1: through it. And these other 3 million documents, well, they're unresponsive.
- 4:20Speaker 1: They're duplicative. And around and around we go. And I
- 4:23Speaker 1: know that there's like a big stink in the Senate
- 4:25Speaker 1: right now about getting Mr. Blanche confirmed. But I think
- 4:30Speaker 1: when all is said and done, he's going to get
- 4:31Speaker 1: that confirmation. Even if that means that Trump pulls it
- 4:34Speaker 1: back for a minute, waits for Tillis and Cornyn to
- 4:37Speaker 1: finish their term, and then goes ahead with what he
- 4:40Speaker 1: wanted to do. when he gets some senators in there
- 4:42Speaker 1: that are willing to play ball. Because we all know
- 4:45Speaker 1: that that's what's coming. The reason that Trump went after
- 4:49Speaker 1: the people he went after is because they weren't down
- 4:51Speaker 1: with his agenda. So he had to purge the party
- 4:54Speaker 1: of non-believers. And that's exactly what he did. So you
- 4:59Speaker 1: know whoever else comes in is probably going to play ball.
- 5:04Speaker 1: But instead Blanche handed over the unredacted information to Sullivan
- 5:07Speaker 1: to review, possibly for release to the public. Well, that's nice, huh?
- 5:12Speaker 1: Imagine doing what the judge tells you, like the rest
- 5:15Speaker 1: of us would have to. Imagine if the judge gave
- 5:17Speaker 1: you an order, right, after you did something wrong, or
- 5:21Speaker 1: you were, you know, in some kind of legal dispute,
- 5:23Speaker 1: and you decided just to do whatever you wanted instead.
- 5:26Speaker 1: How do you think the court would react? Do you
- 5:29Speaker 1: think they'd just shrug their shoulders and be like, ah,
- 5:31Speaker 1: you know, we did the best we could? Aw, shucks,
- 5:35Speaker 1: I guess we should just move on. Or, do you think,
- 5:39Speaker 1: they'd make your ass comply one way or the other?
- 5:41Speaker 1: whether that's you come in under your own compulsion or
- 5:44Speaker 1: they drag you in kicking and screaming. But I assure you,
- 5:48Speaker 1: you're going to have to answer for your bullshit. Jeffrey
- 5:51Speaker 1: Epstein and his friends? Well, I guess not. Defendant Todd Blanche,
- 5:56Speaker 1: in his official capacity as Acting Attorney General of the
- 5:59Speaker 1: United States, respectfully submits the notice of compliance with the
- 6:03Speaker 1: order of this court dated July 25th, 2026, requiring defendants
- 6:08Speaker 1: submit certain documentation to the court for an in-camera review.
- 6:13Speaker 1: And I think that should be the bare minimum. Let
- 6:16Speaker 1: the judge look at it. Let him see what's going on,
- 6:18Speaker 1: what's up, what it contains, and if it's something that
- 6:22Speaker 1: the public should see. And my guess is, the public
- 6:25Speaker 1: should see it. When I tell you I want full transparency,
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's what I mean. Not partial, not some, not maybe.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Full transparency. Besides the names of people who were harmed,
- 6:36Speaker 1: everybody else should be named. And if that brings you shame, good.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Why the fuck were you hanging out with Jeffrey Epstein
- 6:42Speaker 1: in the first place? Blanche and critics on social media
- 6:46Speaker 1: also noted that Blanche submitted hard copy documents to the
- 6:49Speaker 1: court's chambers via hand deliver at 2.28pm on July 30th
- 6:55Speaker 1: within close proximity to the day's deadline. Of course, drag
- 6:58Speaker 1: it out all the way to the end and hope
- 7:01Speaker 1: for the best. That's always been the goal. And I've
- 7:03Speaker 1: been telling you that from the very beginning over a
- 7:05Speaker 1: year now. For the people that just showed up anyway.
- 7:08Speaker 1: For those of you who have been here for a while, well,
- 7:10Speaker 1: I've been telling you that for seven years. But the
- 7:14Speaker 1: truth remains. All they want to do is run the
- 7:16Speaker 1: clock out. That's always been the goal. No matter the administration,
- 7:20Speaker 1: no matter the DOJ, or who's in charge of it,
- 7:23Speaker 1: that's the goal. This is mutually assured destruction, okay? For
- 7:27Speaker 1: all the old school type of politicians, maybe not the
- 7:30Speaker 1: new school ones, maybe like these new Democrats that have
- 7:33Speaker 1: shown up, you know, DSA or whatever. They don't have
- 7:36Speaker 1: any ties to Epstein. And they're willing to watch the
- 7:38Speaker 1: whole thing burn. But up until recently, these politicians and
- 7:44Speaker 1: these people in power, they all knew that they had
- 7:47Speaker 1: friends that would be affected by this. So they weren't
- 7:50Speaker 1: going to bring it up. I mean, look, we have
- 7:53Speaker 1: Catherine Rumler. She was an advisor to Joe Biden. And
- 7:58Speaker 1: not only that, but she was a house counsel to
- 8:00Speaker 1: Barack Obama. So let's not act like this is a
- 8:02Speaker 1: one-way street. The problem is so deep and the rot
- 8:06Speaker 1: is so corrosive that it's affected the whole entire political understructure.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Whether that's on the right or the left, the corruption
- 8:13Speaker 1: and the rot runs deep. MSNOW senior legal reporter Lisa
- 8:21Speaker 1: Rubin noted on X that of the 10 documents at issue,
- 8:25Speaker 1: the DOJ does not identify the redacted information as pertaining
- 8:29Speaker 1: to a victim or law enforcement personnel. Instead, it says
- 8:33Speaker 1: it's just P2 or personally identifiable information. Which is wholly unacceptable.
- 8:40Speaker 1: Unless it has something to do with survivors. Sorry. And
- 8:43Speaker 1: the whole law enforcement personnel. How are we supposed to
- 8:46Speaker 1: hold anybody accountable. If we don't know who's working on
- 8:48Speaker 1: these cases. Like how many of these FBI agents. Went
- 8:52Speaker 1: on to do other things. And fuck those other things up.
- 8:55Speaker 1: My guess is a lot. How many of these jerk
- 8:57Speaker 1: off CIA agents. Running around on the internet. Had something
- 9:01Speaker 1: to do with Epstein. My guess is. At least some
- 9:04Speaker 1: of them. So the whole entire point of the EFTA.
- 9:10Speaker 1: was so that we could find out what happened, who
- 9:12Speaker 1: was involved, who made decisions, who signed this, who signed that.
- 9:15Speaker 1: But of course, we got none of that. And now
- 9:18Speaker 1: the DOJ wants us to believe that there is somebody
- 9:21Speaker 1: we can trust, that we can trust their investigation methods,
- 9:25Speaker 1: that we can trust what they're telling us. But we don't. So,
- 9:30Speaker 1: once again, I'll call for it. It's time for a
- 9:33Speaker 1: special counsel. After Epstein, After Epstein's 2008 conviction, Trump publicly
- 10:03Speaker 1: distanced himself claiming he barely knew him. However, Trump's DOJ
- 10:07Speaker 1: has resisted transparency regarding their relationship and potential knowledge of
- 10:11Speaker 1: Epstein's crimes. The forced release of Epstein documents could expose communications,
- 10:17Speaker 1: financial records, or witness accounts implicating Trump or his associates.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Legal experts argue the Epstein Transparency Act mandates public disclosure,
- 10:27Speaker 1: and Judge Sullivan's ruling suggests courts will ultimately compel release,
- 10:31Speaker 1: regardless of administration resistance, potentially revealing uncomfortable details about Trump's
- 10:37Speaker 1: decade-long association. Not just Trump, a whole lot of people. Remember,
- 10:42Speaker 1: Trump's not just protecting his own reputation here. He's protecting
- 10:46Speaker 1: the reputation of of other well-to-do people. People that might
- 10:50Speaker 1: be donors, people that might be friends, people that might have,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you know, compromise on Trump or somebody in the administration.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And that's what they're trying to protect. And they're also
- 10:59Speaker 1: trying to protect the institutions. Because if they let everybody
- 11:03Speaker 1: know the truth about what happened with the DOJ over
- 11:06Speaker 1: the years and Jeffrey Epstein, I think people would be
- 11:10Speaker 1: in the streets. That's how bad it is. That's how
- 11:13Speaker 1: disgusting it is. And that's how heavy these implications are.
- 11:17Speaker 1: And that's why the administration and the DOJ is willing
- 11:20Speaker 1: to fight tooth and nail to make sure you never
- 11:22Speaker 1: see this stuff. Unfortunately for them, we're going to keep pressing.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And when I say we, I mean all of us.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Because at some point, enough is enough. And hopefully Judge
- 11:32Speaker 1: Sullivan's ruling will light a fire under these dudes and
- 11:34Speaker 1: make them do the right thing. So we'll see what
- 11:37Speaker 1: he turns over. And we'll see what Judge Sullivan releases
- 11:40Speaker 1: to the public, if anything. And like usual, when we
- 11:43Speaker 1: have some more information, we'll get it added to the catalog.
- 11:47Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
- 11:50Speaker 1: found in the description box.
