China to have 500 zero-carbon factories by 2030: ministry
China is aiming to build 500 zero-carbon factories by the end of 2030 as part of its carbon peaking target set for the 15th Five-Year Plan. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said China will place more focus on the coordinated development of smart and green sectors, and develop lightweight, low-cost and ready-to-use green manufacturing equipment.
