Transcript
- Prashanthi Nuthi: Hello friends. Last month when I could not sleep, I started binge watching a reality show. Just a couple of episodes in, I had opinions about everybody in the room. Why did she say that? Why did he not speak up? How could they make a decision like that? As a viewer, I had heard more conversations than they had. I had seen more information than they could see before making the decision. Suddenly the decision started looking different. I paused and I asked myself, what would I have done if I were in that room? And honestly, I don't know. I had a lot of opinions, but I did not have the room Then I started thinking about how we judge people at work. Someone who stays quiet and doesn't speak up in the meetings. A leader who waits longer than we expected. Someone who makes a decision based on the information they had then, which obviously seems wrong afterwards. So here's the micro boost for you today. Before you start judging or find yourself asking the question, why did they do this? Ask another question, what information did they have before doing it? Because bad decisions and bad outcomes are not the same thing. And remember, small actions big impact. Until we meet again next time. Let's keep making impact together. Thank you guys.
