- 31:33powered by clean energy, and each concert like raises money to send one person
- 31:37on one village access to energy, ride, food, water, whatever.
- 31:40Right, And uh, you know we've been all over the world. We
- 31:45brought energy to over seventeen countries. I call it music for impacts. Say
- 31:48yeah, and you know I was just in Kenya and we've been all over
- 31:53the world, and I really want you to meet someone special to me.
- 31:56He's from Ghana right now, and he understands the struggle sustainable development goes.
- 32:00He's a multi Grammy winning artist. He's incredible. He just did something incredible
- 32:06with the Mean and Muhammad. So guys, please make some noise for the
- 32:08one and only Rocket. I'm gonna say some words all the way from Ghandi
- 32:15here. How you are feeling this afternoon, Well, I'm just gonna give
- 32:23a few just a short talk about the importance of all of us being here.
- 32:31You know, we are at a pivote all time when it comes to
- 32:36our planet, our home, our Earth, And for me, being here
- 32:42is about igniting the responsibility of everybody because this Earth is our only home.
- 32:50This planet is our only home. There's no Plan B, no backup planet.
- 32:57So everybody, whatever you can do to make sure that we amplify the
- 33:07works that make sure that we preserve this beautiful earth for future generations. And
- 33:15as a musician and as an activist, I'm here to support my brother because
- 33:22cultural figures and musicians are gonna be critical and are critical to really convey the
- 33:29message of letting all of us know that we are all in it together and
- 33:32it's gonna take all of us working together to get out of this situation.
- 33:38So enjoy your time here, but you have to know that the time comes
- 33:45with responsibility because we have no time as to our responsibility. But if all
- 33:53of us do what is required of us, there is nothing that is higher
- 33:58than the collective will to overcome every adversity. Thank you very much. My
- 34:04name is Roq Dawuni and I'm glad to be here. God bless us all.
- 34:08A y great job bringing everybody together. Yes, keep hope alive everybody,
- 34:15peace and love. Thank you all right, my brother, we're making
- 34:25a few changes to the sets, guys, So what I want to do
- 34:30off the cuff, this is not necessarily what I hope to do with the
- 34:32global goals portion. Can we bring you up? We just want to do
- 34:37a special things here, guys. My name is A. Why. As
- 34:39you know, this is the Battery Tour. Everybody say when I say battery,
- 34:43y'all say tour, battery, battery. Hey. When I say A,
- 34:49y'all say what hey, Hey, it's good, that's my name.
- 34:52You guys are great to say this. You guys are hit it. You're
- 34:54in it, yo. So you know, obviously I built this thing called
- 34:57the Battery Tour, and and since that, since then, I've launched this
- 35:00thing called Project seventeen, and I've been lining up one song for each goal.
- 35:04And lining up a corporate to sponsor the project, right, so we
- 35:07can give away the funds of this album, this music album to implementation partners
- 35:13to NGO's like Plastic Pollution Coalition NWF, to people that do the work like
- 35:16the UN join scg's fund. And the first company to come on board was
- 35:22was B and P. So, guys, can you make some noise for
- 35:25B and P and the United Nations join scg's fund. That are gonna share
- 35:30some words. Please make some noise for some of the people that make this
- 35:34possible. This is Leasta Corbel from the United Nations Joint Sustainable Development Goal Fund.
- 35:51Once on for the good time and miss contents from B and P and
- 35:55they're gonna share some words. These mics are hot perfect however you want to
- 35:59do that itself worse? Okay, Hi, everybody, thank you so much
- 36:05for coming. My name is Lisa. I work for the United Nations.
- 36:07This is the most important week of the year for the UN. Global leaders
- 36:13are coming here to commit to change and to commit to the sustainable Development goals.
- 36:17We'll only reach those important goals to end poverty, to provide healthcare,
- 36:22to educate everyone, to care about life in the planet and below the oceans
- 36:27to really make this world habitable for all of us and to make sure we
- 36:30leave no one behind. The joint STG Fund on the sign, in the
- 36:35music all around you is a vehicle to make that happen. And I'm thrilled
- 36:39to be here with examples of leaders from around the world that are making that
- 36:44happen. My good friend Eva from the Government of Spain, my good friend
- 36:46Constance from BNP Pariba. These are change agents. These are leaders that we
- 36:52can all know are working every day to make the stg's a reality. I
- 36:57promise to do that. They promised to do that. We need you need
- 37:00to join us. We need you to take action in your own way to
- 37:04help us be success. Thank you so much, Thank you, Lisa.
- 37:08It is truly wonderful to be with you all, here, with Constance and
- 37:14with you all in this SDG Summit Week and New York Climate Week. We
- 37:21all know that it takes cooperation and working all together in a global action to
- 37:27tackle all the challenges you're facing, gender issues, healthcare issues, biodiverse diversity,
- 37:34the digital divide. And that's why we all need a global action altogether
- 37:39to tackle this. We need all generations together, all individuals, governments to
- 37:45step up. And that's why we are renovating our compromise and our challenge partnership
- 37:52and alliance with the SDG Fund and the government Spain is committing again to work
- 37:57with four more years with you all that find them. Solutions for people needs
- 38:04global action and only together we can really tackle and implement the twenty thirty Agenda.
- 38:09Thank you, thank you, I mean I would say thank you so
- 38:15much, Lisa, thank you Evan, and thank you Ay to make this
- 38:19amazing day happen. I feel so energized today. We have the solutions in
- 38:24green mobility, in green energy, we have the solution to restore nature.
- 38:30We can't make it happen, but it takes you. It takes the communities,
- 38:35it takes government action, It takes the power of states, the power
- 38:40of the un the power of music, the power of finance. So we
- 38:45need all of you to make days like this so energizing and to give hope
- 38:50to the world. Thank you. Now we pass it back to the amazing
- 38:55Ay and the battery toure you guys, let me say yeah, say solar
- 39:02power, say battery tour. Okay, now we're plugged in guys, So
- 39:07we have something really special we have. You know, it's so blessing.
- 39:10This project seventeen is crazy, right, Like it was nuts because I remember
- 39:14when the Secretary of General we did this call right with Antonio Guterres, and
- 39:16he was telling me about these goals, you know, these seventeen things,
- 39:20and he was like, you're achieving goals seven. I was like, oh,
- 39:22yeah, seven because I actually didn't know at the time, right,
- 39:25but there's these seventeen things that the UN and like all these countries voting to
- 39:30be done by twenty thirty, right, like everyone needs food, right,
- 39:32water, power, energy, right. And I was like, man,
- 39:38I think the best way to achieve the goals is use music for impact music,
- 39:43culture, and arts. And so that's what probably seventeen is. One
- 39:45hundred percent of the proceeds of this album are going to go to organizations that
- 39:49do the work. So through today you're going to see a lot of great
- 39:52organizations that do the work that the music will empower. Say, yeah,
- 39:55so we got three really special, incredible youth, incredible activist organizations coming to
- 40:01the States to share a few world before we get back into the music,
- 40:05Let's make it happen Let's get these incredible leaders up. Make some noise.
- 40:07Wrong leader. All right, Hello, time square. My name is Sophia
- 40:24Lee. And if you love this beautiful shared home of ours, close your
- 40:29eyes. Close your eyes, everyone, close your eyes and take it deep
- 40:35and hail through your nose here and hold it at the top and let it
- 40:38out of your mouth and keep closing your eyes. And I know we're in
- 40:43the concrete jungle, but imagine if you're just surrounded by nature. There's this
- 40:49beautiful quote that says, in the worst moments of humanity, the best of
- 40:53humanity shows up. So this is our time now to show up. Twenty
- 40:59thirty is just six years, three months, and nine days away. Let's
- 41:02visualize the next chapter that we need to enter. Continue breathing, enter your
- 41:07notes out of your mouth, and open your eyes, and thank you so
- 41:14much for being here to actually pause for peace. And we paused. Shea
- 41:19all you. Thank you so much, Sepia. I'm here because I believe
- 41:27in the power that art has to change the world, to unite us.
- 41:30In the first ever global climate strife that brought over three hundred thousand people to
- 41:35the streets of New York in twenty nineteen, We closed with a climate concert.
- 41:40We closed with people sharing music with closed with all of us dancing together
- 41:45because we were working for something. And I think that is the spirit that
- 41:51we are showing up with today. How do we unite to work together for
- 41:55something instead of against something. We have millions of people marching, we have
- 42:00all of the science, and yet less than one percent of people in the
- 42:04United States voted for the Green Party. We need something greater to unite us,
- 42:07to mobilize us. So what do we want? What do we want?
- 42:15Climate justice? When do we want it? Now? What do we
- 42:17want? When do we want it? Who? Thanks? I'm Nate Matthews.
- 42:25I'm the CEO of the Global Resilience Partnership and we're proud to be one
- 42:30of the implementing partners of Projects seventeen. The SDGs are all about collaboration,
- 42:36and music is the connector within collaboration. Mobilizes action, and it communicates.
- 42:42And we've got seven years to twenty thirty. So with that, ay take
- 42:47us to song twenty thirty. Thank you, if you Morton, if you
- 43:04sweat, if you pray, Garantean, Gettos you down Noway, Gality,
- 43:09Ghetto you down Now? The j and coo. Everybody want to know how
- 43:34much eping money? Everybody want to know how I get my joke. See
- 43:40I'm a foighting that quit running race until the end. See that's how I
- 43:45get those Joe, No, no you Oh yeah, now I won't see
- 44:00you, just like George Floyd. Don't you know you say you you say
- 44:07you care about the woman? No? Oh no, you do you really
- 44:15care about you? Nor I'm not off a ring. They say they care
- 44:23about the case. So I want you to know. They say, speed
- 44:31free. Oh I want you show me, hey, show me to show
- 44:39me how we come. Everybody want to know how much about Everybody want to
- 44:46know how I get my club. See I'm finding them quote from the racing
- 44:53to see that's how Big Time twenty thirty. What you know about the goals
- 45:06that talk about seventeen things to achieve? Everybody in the world human needs,
- 45:09Big Funny thirty? What you know about the goals that talk about don't you
- 45:15know about the seventeen things that everybody needs to achieve? That was going up
- 45:19just a penny pigeon. Now I'm getting puny in the pigeon, And now
- 45:22I do a clipp it throwing out to see into the fishes and on they
- 45:25give one line, who I'm about to tell you how to live it,
- 45:28especially on the Earth Tower chains with the past. Enough to do with a
- 45:30pippot. If you can't take the heat, the gure out of the plication
- 45:34makes you know. It's how you know. Everybody will to know how much
- 45:37of your Mama's gonna make peoples have it? Everybody will know I make people
- 45:42get some food and water, energy, See mama, you see love hate
- 45:50them. Yeah, that's achieve my go us. That's how we shop but
- 45:58showy on the Battery Tour, I used to travel and sleep in my car.
- 46:16That's when I found out there was a billion people who didn't have energy
- 46:20because I was rolling into towns and they were like, I have their grid
- 46:24was messed up or something. I was like, holy crap, I can
- 46:27do a concert, but you don't have energy, you know. And I
- 46:29was like, Okay, I need to be an outlet for chain, say
- 46:30outlet say plugged in. And I started doing the Battery Tour and I've been
- 46:36all over the world. I've done over nine hundred concerts, and I met
- 46:38someone who I think is one of the best artists in the world. And
- 46:42one thing about the Battery Tour besides this being youth led and youth driven,
- 46:45and we're a startup, right and we're doing the impossible with collaboration. I
- 46:50call it radical collaboration. It's also we're bringing a new wave of artists to
- 46:53the world, sustainable artists, a way to do it differently. And I
- 46:57know I met someone who has changed my life and hopefully her voice will change
- 47:01yours. Everybody say sing me me sing say sing me me See, So
- 47:08I'm gonna do something really special. My homie Zach Ephron put this on the
- 47:13Down to Earth TV show Darren Ollan and Zach you've ever seen it? You
- 47:15guys should watch it. It's a little bit about sustainability. So this song
- 47:19is called Hey yo wa you take your time and a moment this time.
- 47:53Let's just take good time. You love will love the ship. It's very
- 48:00day. You know it's something magic fell your touched Hell. Hello, ell,
- 48:10let's just take our time yet, ell, Ell, Ell, Ell,
- 48:30I know that we just met, but you've got you got expectations.
- 48:34You know I missed that test, but my god, by okay, let's
- 48:38saw a way back the place. Patroller calling in same I'm the name,
- 48:45and all the places by games up where you push pop ball and you push
- 48:49potfull and you push then we're fighting, where you push a bull. There
- 48:57you push a bull, There you push We're finding at sixty first he fa
- 49:07this love is we lost, we los, we lost. We listen as
- 49:30he ye yes, old, m okay, sorry, ready you guys,
- 50:45ready for the chat. Everybody in the audience repeat after us. Decent work,

- 51:08all the way. Decent work, decent pay, green jobs all that way,
- 51:17decent pad, green jobs all the way, up, green jobs all
- 51:27the way. Amazing. Thank you everyone. Hi. Hi, I'm el
- 51:31Ophie. I am twenty two years old and I joined Battery Tour from my
- 51:37first job after college as a youth working for a youth led, youth driven
- 51:43organization, Battery Tour. I am so excited to be joined by over twenty
- 51:47youth leaders of our today to highlight just how important youth are at today's decision
- 51:53making tables. There's Maximo's Baba, and this moment is historical. For the
- 52:13first time we already know, but there's new people coming around. We have
- 52:17a renewal energy concert in Times Square, so a bigger plus. Again,
- 52:22this is historical. We need every concert in the world to be like this,
- 52:29for the present, for the future, for the youth, for all
- 52:31the generations. On love and big cock for everyone, for everyone. Thank
- 52:37you, thank you, so everybody. Today we want to talk to you
- 52:42about Sustainable Development Goal number eight, decent work and economic growth, with a
- 52:47special emphasis on the role that we youth play. There's over twenty of us
- 52:52on stage here today. Yeah, let's hear. Let's hear. The world
- 53:00filled with challenges. Goal A reminds us that a thriving economy is the cornerstone
- 53:07of a prosperous and sustainable future. It envisions the world where everyone, regardless
- 53:13of age, has access to decent work and opportunities for personal growth. But
- 53:19why focus on youth? You all right, big question. I'll tell you
- 53:22why we should focus on youth. Young people, other readers, not off
- 53:27tomorrow, but off today. Their energy, creativity, and innovative spirits can
- 53:35change and bring the world to a better place. They hold the power to
- 53:38reshape societies for the better. The better to achieve a CG eight. We
- 53:44must invest in our youth. We must provide them with quite education, training,
- 53:51mentorship to prepare them to be the workforce of tomorrow. We must foster
- 53:55entrepreneurship and empower them to create jobs, not just to seek existing jobs jobs.
- 54:02We must ensure that young workers are not left behind and included indecision making
- 54:07processes all across the globe. The globe. Yeah, let's hear it.
- 54:14Do you agree with all? Right? So when we empower youth, we're
- 54:20not just securing a brighter future. We're tapping into a whole pool of potential
- 54:25that can drive economic growth, reduce inequalities, and build sustainable communities. By
- 54:32nurturing the aspirations and talents of all of our youth all around the world,
- 54:39we're sowing the seeds of prosperity for generations to come to come. So let
- 54:45us all commit to supporting Sustainable Development Goal eight and embracing the limitness potential of
- 54:52our youth. You together, we can create a world where decent work and
- 54:58economic growth are not distant dreams, but living reality is for us all.
- 55:04Thank you, and let's give it a round of applaus for all of our
- 55:07youth here today and now a y will be performing goal eight. Yes,
- 55:15Sue, thank you everyone, all right, Pason work Jason yoll this great.
- 56:21Don't git a job. He's in wretch. Arid s sometimes just talk
- 56:34too much. Why wish that John and the child ing side, Joe the
- 57:22chow, don't hard agin, it's not Joe and the job. Why the
- 57:36world to get hooked in the power shape? Look at the projects. Talk
- 57:44to the Barry job. He's a flame. Tag talkbody, believe me a
- 58:15thump man. Plug in solutions like right at seventeen, right now, so
- 58:20we can make it shure yes as well as it as I say, yes,
- 58:37put it on out yes, yes, make some noise for about youth.
- 58:43Actim this one time, guys, I made a special song. As
- 58:53we work through products every thing. You guys having a good time, say
- 58:55yeah, say outlet say plugged. Oh we're powering change together, guys.
- 59:02Guy. So my brother just passed away. I just lost my brother.
- 59:14His name's AJ and he's like the reason I started music, you know what
- 59:17I'm saying. And he was he was a victim of gun violence. Violence,
- 59:22and it's been really tough for me because I've been trying to travel the
- 59:24world and do this. I was at this thing COP twenty seven and I
- 59:28just I was leaving COP twenty seven. Uh, and that's when I got
- 59:31the word from my parents. And it's been really hard. And this is
- 59:35the it's the first song I actually ever wrote for uh, for like gun
- 59:40violence and stuff you know, you know, And I call it take this
- 59:44in your Pocket, And I just want to take a second to dedicate this
- 59:46to my wonderful brother AJ, who I know is out there and uh,
- 59:52yeah, right, we lessens this gun violence is crazy, man, So
- 59:57I knew that I needed to use my platfor for him a little bit,
- 1:00:00a little bit because there's a lot of gun violence. So I want to
- 1:00:02introduce you guys to a very special artist, make some noise for Dame Meyer's
- 1:00:06one time. He's more sustainable than me. This guy makes his music out
- 1:00:12of a solar trailer. It's incredible again with this music for impact. There
- 1:00:15are so many artists and young people in youth that have the solutions. This
- 1:00:20song is dedicated to my brother. It's the gun violence anthem. I'm all
- 1:00:23about anthems. It's called stick this in your pocket. In your pocket,
- 1:00:40I've never done that. I don't even know if I know the words.
- 1:00:46It's funny how you can be in the hood of a minute jump a couple
- 1:00:49of blunts like chamelion. Same with the race to change the government step way,
- 1:00:52flippy waves and if everything is for a reason I have. I got
- 1:00:58a feeling I can change the world up with the pads and then I gotta
- 1:01:02mop the boat float. Hey, why I'm ann needle in a haystack.
- 1:01:06That's the track means that New York didn't laughed at them dream boat and watch
- 1:01:08me he'll shot call green coats while you said back relaxed, follow the movie,
- 1:01:12need a coat, pick back. I want the cell phone silent,
- 1:01:15can't say cast myself to a room. I can't what's your The water's climbing
- 1:01:34and the share of horizons and don't seem like a share horizon. I don't
- 1:01:37put the flat can't horizon took my hope and a change of climate. I
- 1:01:42was open minded, but there's no no craze Carton as a whot come on
- 1:01:45by his days. I'm gonna put your blame. It's that fame as the
- 1:01:47danger's getting to thank James in the gracious state. But lay up to my
- 1:01:52weight, I say text when I take my plate cleaner? What you a
- 1:01:53new American dream of white taxto places like an mding pop up in the whip
- 1:01:58with the green gas me and imagine, I don't know if you don't know
- 1:02:05this one way, where's gotta be? I don't know, you don't know,
- 1:02:12so powad the pagans, I don't know, kill don't know where it's
- 1:02:22gotta be. Let's don't I don't know, yell don't know it. Also
- 1:02:29cats moves, baby making rest my soul? All slow down, or they
- 1:02:36are supposed there's a traveler in the dust road where life takes me. I'm
- 1:02:40he no, I can't give up about home wherever I go. Hey,
- 1:02:45I know you're listening. Hey, Hey, I love you, Hey,
- 1:02:50Hey, I love you, love you? Hey everyone who it is incredible?
- 1:03:07Can I just get another own plaus for a why literally such a huge
- 1:03:10leader and just incredible artists. My name is Aliceon Biegelman, and I'm one
- 1:03:15of the co founders of the Hollywood Climate Summit, and I'm Ali Weinstein.
- 1:03:21I'm also a co founder of the Hollywood Climate Summit. And you know,
- 1:03:23we want to ask y'all quick question how much time do you think the average
- 1:03:28US adult spends engaging in content like on their phone or TV or any of
- 1:03:32that stuff. Throw out some numbers, how much time? What do you
- 1:03:36think? What do you think? Eighteen hours a day? Okay, not
- 1:03:39that much? Any other ones? Ten? Okay, well, y'all are
- 1:03:44a little high. Oh five, still high. It's one hundred and sixty
- 1:03:46minutes approximately, which is more than two hours a day, which is a
- 1:03:50lot. And where does that content come from? That content is coming from
- 1:03:54Hollywood and the general media landscape, which is a global industry with the power
- 1:04:00to change culture worldwide. Scientists have given us the fact that we need to
- 1:04:04take action, So now we need to communicate that on an international scale.
- 1:04:11And SDG Goal thirteen says to take urgent action to combat the climate crisis and
- 1:04:15its impacts. Right. But people aren't gonna be inspired to take that action
- 1:04:20unless they're seeing it reflected in their media and in their content. So that's
- 1:04:25why we created the Hollywood Climate Summit, which is an annual international conference and
- 1:04:30budding nonprofit that creates a cross sector community space for thousands of entertainment and media
- 1:04:34professionals to take collective climate action action whoo, so creative storytellers, artists,
- 1:04:44we all need to message this crisis authentically and on a global scale, instead
- 1:04:49of using fear tactics and speaking of apocalypse. We need stories of collective action
- 1:04:56and resilience. We want people to come together, gather we because stories create
- 1:05:01community, and community creates culture, and those two together, culture and community
- 1:05:08together, they give us the power to combat the climate crisis. Y'all,
- 1:05:12So so thanks for being here. Now, I want to introduce Projects seventeen's
- 1:05:15anthem for Goal thirteen, which is climate action. Here save the planet by
- 1:05:20the amazing a y u no gods? Ready for the Senate Billy anthem of
- 1:05:49the world. See you with me. Stay the planning. We're gonna say
- 1:05:57singing, goot say the plan what's up? We got the planning? Everybody
- 1:06:00like, hey, sous say the planet set. I gotta say planet.
- 1:06:11People like noether, guys ever, you got good? They acting like another
- 1:06:17planet Mars. They say clock and a thing? What you're talking about?
- 1:06:21What you know about that? What's your apartment? Off? Sex facts?
- 1:06:26We just want to act. We sit back, solar power, wind,
- 1:06:30solar power, and everybody need the energy. Let's store it up in power
- 1:06:34the world. Recycle. We need more recycle. But they acting like some
- 1:06:39father was on Instagram and the yeah everybody makes you know you guys so good.
- 1:06:43We got carried from National Wildlife Cederation. They're saving the plane. They're
- 1:06:46going thirteen. Just a moment to come together, stars now stability. Planet.
- 1:06:57I'm here, I'm gonna say mine drives part flower's mind. The planet.
- 1:07:05Say the planet. We're gonna say the planet. Air botton can I'm
- 1:07:11from the pack and seeing it go say the planet? What? Say the
- 1:07:14Planet's good? Come on man screaming, say the plastic? What we say
- 1:07:20it their bye? Say the plastic. Nothing you're gonna say the dead body
- 1:07:28given to fucking day? Say the planet. You go say the body.
- 1:07:33Get back from the play. We can't beget about the ocean, right,
- 1:07:41we can't forget about the ocean. Right, backs lies, So keep the
- 1:07:46plastic is the const keep the past stopping about, so keep here's your hand.
- 1:08:10We're gonna say them everybody, look you got time, got what we
- 1:08:15gonna say the planet? Everybody for the world. Here here we go say
- 1:08:20the planet. What everybody? One more time as live as you can for
- 1:08:26the world to hear and go say the planet. What were gonna say the

- 1:09:13renewable energy targets in the US twenty five years earlier than it's been our original
- 1:09:17target. So you could say, but clean and affordable energy is very important
- 1:09:21to us, and that's why I'm excited to be on the stage right before
- 1:09:26Ay is going to talk about the importance of goal seven. Before I do,
- 1:09:30I just wanted to again call out the history that's being made here today.
- 1:09:35This is the first ever renewable energy concert in Times Square, so we
- 1:09:40got to give it up for Ay and his team one more time. And
- 1:09:44Ay's parents who are here, which I know are so forward to him as

- 1:10:14Guys, guys, I'm standing by the smart flower. We are powering
- 1:10:16this concert one hundred by renewable energy. It's the first ever renewable energy power
- 1:10:24concert in the history of times. Square makes some noise. Just last week
- 1:10:30I was on street corners. Now we're kind of on another one. But
- 1:10:34we're here for the world. This is Goal seven. It's called light up
- 1:10:39the World. We're gonna get akon and bono on this. That's the goal.
- 1:10:44That's the aspiration. Maybe cold played by the end of the year,
- 1:10:45one song for each goal, one or more companies to support this. Here
- 1:10:50we go. I can see life, I feel shine down in the time.

- 1:13:10We're an implementation partner for Project seventeen with a Y Young and we are
- 1:13:15here to talk for a minute about plastic pollution. I think it's really important
- 1:13:20if you guys haven't realized this yet, that ninety nine percent of plastics are
- 1:13:28made out of fossil fuels ninety nine percent. So if we want to divest
- 1:13:34from fossil fuels and petrochemicals, we also need to majorly reduce our plastic footprint.
- 1:13:43Plastics are also a chairs. I see your reusable bottle right on.
- 1:13:49That's an easy step that individuals can take, but we also need to support
- 1:13:53things like the Global Plastic Treaty, which is being hashed out and negotiating now,
- 1:13:59and we have information in a QR code if anyone wants to learn more
- 1:14:02about that and support it. I'm gonna wait for Ay to come around,
- 1:14:08and then it's gonna be my great pleasure to introduce A y Young to you

- 1:18:11cheese baskets, take care of that. Okay, guys, we're at the
- 1:18:15end. Everybody say, outlett, come on. I thought we're plugged in.
- 1:18:20This concert is plugged in that It was kind of like everybody say,
- 1:18:26outlet, they plugged. Oh, we got so many people tuning in.
- 1:18:32We gotta sell you like this huge thanks to Unreal extreme Man. New Use
- 1:18:35Energy footprint project's been amazing. Shattered Prism, a New York company is helping
- 1:18:41power this man. Everybody say yeah for power, say yeah, one hundred
- 1:18:45renew of energy Man ldd's in the house. Shout out to them, Shout

- 1:18:56if you don't know what Probadey seventeen is by now, If you're not
- 1:18:59an out for change yet, I hope you are when you leave here.
- 1:19:03I've made one song for each of the sustainable development goals. This is a
- 1:19:11call to action. This ain't just oh we're doing a concert power by Clean
- 1:19:15Energy, right, This is a call to action. Line up one corporate
- 1:19:18sponsor, so I own the music, so I can give one hundred percent
- 1:19:21of the proceeds away to youth organizations that have the solutions, to organizations like
- 1:19:27NWF National Wildlife Federation and others, the unscg's fund, so we can power
- 1:19:31change. Now, line up seventeen major artists. So if you know an
- 1:19:35artists, tell them to get plugged in. Plugging in Man, we got
- 1:19:39a seventeen episode docuseriies to tell your story, our story, the story of
- 1:19:43being an outlet, say outlet say plugged in. So speaking of stories before
- 1:19:48we end on, like my favorite song ever, I have a story.
- 1:19:51So I'm one of the I have a lot of titles, right or whatever.
- 1:19:56At the un in different places. One of the seventeen United Nations like
- 1:19:59Young Leaders the SDGs, right, it was like in twenty twenty, what's
- 1:20:02up Jack? And this man wrote my nomination. So I wouldn't be here
- 1:20:11if it wasn't for him. But honestly, Paul, you changed my life,
- 1:20:15bro, kid? Can someone forced Paul Hawking over here? He wrote
- 1:20:20this book called Project draw Down in the Generation make so noise for Paul Howking
- 1:20:27my god father. I'm gonna make you talk. Paul, you can't leave.
- 1:20:31I'm sorry, yo, yo. He's let me sleep on the couch
- 1:20:35on this Battery tour. Right after I became Young Leader, and I was
- 1:20:40doing these concerts trying to get people to like pay attention to this Project seventeen.
- 1:20:44And I was trying to tell him, like music for impact of work
- 1:20:45and this is how we'll funded if you just helped support me to then support
- 1:20:49the world. And he just did it. Yeah, And he's one of
- 1:20:56the main inspirations of Goal seventeen that I'm gonna do here. It's funny because
- 1:21:01when I was making Goal seventeen, I was like, this is the song
- 1:21:03that Paul McCartney we have to go Beatles, right, So when you're here,
- 1:21:06It's like, we gotta have Paul. And and then I met Paul
- 1:21:11Pullman and I was like, Okay, we gotta have the three pauls,
- 1:21:13because we have Paul Hawk and Paul Pullman and maybe we can get Paul McCartney.
- 1:21:15Anyway, Paul say something, well, you see what you're getting here?
- 1:21:21Just an astounding, amazing human being. And we were met in the
- 1:21:27green room in Kansas City. I gave a speech. It was a lieutenant
- 1:21:31governor there, mayor's, all sorts of politicians are there in the green room.
- 1:21:34In the green room, you shut up, be quiet, and pay
- 1:21:36attention to yourself and nobody else. And he was there and we just had
- 1:21:42the best time ever. I felt like I'd met an avatar, like a
- 1:21:47being from another planet has come here to actually get it talk to his communicate.
- 1:21:54And he had a T shirt. Where's that T shirt? You got
- 1:21:57it? There? It is that T shirt? And I took off my
- 1:22:02jacket and my starch shirt and put on his T shirt and then went out
- 1:22:09and they were kind of boring the way they're introducing people. And I produced
- 1:22:13concerts when I was in my misspent youth. And I then announced ay,
- 1:22:18and I did it the old fashioned way, which is just told about being
- 1:22:23an eagle scout and the basketball player, about his parents, and it's upbringing
- 1:22:26his homeschooling and finally to like, what is seven hundred people? I said,
- 1:22:31everybody give it up? They a mom and dad come here? Can
- 1:22:42you come here please? I'm sorry, but guys, Mom, mom,
- 1:22:46mom, Can you guys say hi, Mom, Hi Dad. I'll come
- 1:22:54down with you. I love you, guys. Guys. Here's the deal,
- 1:22:56though, here's the story. I can never tell dude, this is
- 1:22:59actually why I did this. I realized, Oh, it's because of my
- 1:23:00parents. Yes, Mom, I've matured. I understand that you're awesome.
- 1:23:03And I used to be kind of hard, but I'll say this. I
- 1:23:08watched my dad and mom bring my city together block by block, right like
- 1:23:11we have four crackhouses on drug houses on my block. I watched. I
- 1:23:14used to well, I was forced to do neighborhood cleanups because of my dad
- 1:23:16and my mom and all this stuff. And I hate it picking up.
- 1:23:20I hated picking up other people's trash. But you need to, and now
- 1:23:24I like it. Don't worry, okay, sometimes, but I watched my
- 1:23:28dad and mom bringing theeble together, get curbs and sidewalks, do all this
- 1:23:30stuff. And I realized, like, oh crap, I'm just like my
- 1:23:33dad because I'm trying to bring the world together city by city and country by
- 1:23:36country, and they did it block by block. So without further ado,
- 1:23:44I did this song with Jonathan Russell. He's an amazing guy, and I
- 1:23:46aim I aspire with this project, this soft launch of probably seventeen. Also
- 1:23:50wait, shout out to like Kirsten over here, my team, Isabella,
- 1:23:56Chris, where's my team? Where's my team? Guys, Amanda, there's
- 1:23:59so many people, guys, come come here, come in WF Chris.
- 1:24:02Yes, yes, Okay, this is we can change the world. We're
- 1:24:04just gonna go right into it. Guys. I hope you guys love the
- 1:24:08anthem for Goal seventeen, and I hope that we can continue to get the
- 1:24:11world plucked in. Let's go, let's go, let's go. Get my
- 1:24:14team in front of here. What are you guys doing this, Isabella,
- 1:24:19if you can kicking or whatever, he says, sister mister who's made on
- 1:24:27that? Ok on the reasons, not kid, It's gonna take teachers lead
- 1:24:38this dreams. Are you guys ready, they only we made history. It's
- 1:24:45by words, by words, you guys ready, here we go. Say
- 1:24:47we can't change, he said, they to the week out, screaming out,
- 1:24:57everybody, stand up, stand up. What we got out? What
- 1:24:59we got set up? Yo? Re change? Got it coming again?
- 1:25:08That's it coming. Yeah, I don't lie anymore to you do less or
- 1:25:23he put this up about Tom. Be humble and realize we are one and
- 1:25:28the same. You mean you want of the cop right, Rode das come
- 1:25:31on head showing together to put your best before they can effort. They call
- 1:25:36me. Spoke to Acon, Marvin Gaily and the gray mind. Let's have
- 1:25:41a great time now we're powering time square the battery to makes enough. Just
- 1:25:46loss it off, they all say to ride in the audience were three cross
- 1:25:53creaming out, Jo, we can change, so we can change. Shine
- 1:26:04That girl can changed? Got it coming, head, got it come as
- 1:26:16come. Okay, here's the deal, guys, here's the deal. This
- 1:26:24versus empty because I want Paul McCartney, So you lead us. Let act
- 1:26:29like the Beatles are here and bos singing. Who knows it might ab could
- 1:26:31be someone else. Okay, you guys, ready, one moment in the
- 1:26:39world. The girls sing it out, Change sing out right up, change,
- 1:26:51why back, guys, we can change. Got to come get we

- 1:28:05put it. I say out man. They plugged, cat came dab.
- 1:28:15We're youth driven, youth land organizations for a startup. It takes adults and
- 1:28:21youth coming together. The youth. We have a solution. This is the
- 1:28:25call to action to get plugged in. Power chains with us. Go tell
- 1:28:28frand peace out. Thank you, Hello, everybody wasn't a y and this
- 1:28:38whole group fantastic. Thank you a y. Thank you for coming here.
- 1:28:45Thank you all the GM and b MP, United Nations and more who are
- 1:28:54all concerned about our environmental conditions. I hope I got everybody, but there's
- 1:28:59some on the top here. There's signs over here about who's concern who's doing
- 1:29:05good things? And Ay and his team, the Global Ambassador, all right,
- 1:29:11we're gonna do in regard to this is an interesting scenario. This isn't
- 1:29:17Rita Hayworth. I don't know whom I remember Rita Hayworth. She was a
- 1:29:21famous actress. And Quinn let me as a great show about Rita Hayworth.
- 1:29:30And the good news is that it's called The Heat is On. But she
- 1:29:35has a very very interesting peace story to share with us. Okay, Quinn,
- 1:29:46thank you, Paul. Oh my goodness, this is very loud.
- 1:29:51In nineteen forty six, my film Gilda was about to be released in Paris
- 1:29:57when I got wind of a little, a little thing called Project Bombshell,
- 1:30:03where Harry Combe, the head of Columbia Pictures, was planning to actually slap
- 1:30:09a shot of Gilda on an actual atomic bomb. Now I hate war.
- 1:30:15I hate what it did to my brothers. I hate what it did to
- 1:30:17my GI's Hot War Cold War. I wanted no part of it. I
- 1:30:24screwed up my courage and I stormed into il Duce's office and I said,
- 1:30:29are you fucking insane? You're not putting my pin up on a goddamn a
- 1:30:33bomb for a fucking film. Now you either drop this a bomb campaign or
- 1:30:41I drop you. He turned to me and he said, when you make
- 1:30:44the decisions. Then you can when you run the studio, then you can
- 1:30:48make the decisions. Get the fuck out. Oh I got out all right.
- 1:30:54I hoped the next luxury liner to France, Apricuo, Pa. But
- 1:31:00the bomb dropped with my pin up on it. I was in the middle
- 1:31:04of the bloody Atlantic and I heard about it on Orson Wells radio show.
- 1:31:11He said, the only good thing that could come of this was that perhaps
- 1:31:15one day our daughter Rebecca could say to her daughter that Grandma's picture was on
- 1:31:21the last atomic bomb ever dropped. Maestro music please. This is from the
- 1:31:30nineteen forty six film Gilda, track number two. When they had the earthquake
- 1:31:48in San Francisco back in nineteen six, they said that old Mother Nature was
- 1:31:59up to her old traits. That's the story in the When Over Round.
- 1:32:05But here's a real low down. Put the blame on me, boys,
- 1:32:15Put the blame on me. One night she started to shim and shape that
- 1:32:21brought on the Frisco quakes. Put the blame on me, boys, Put
- 1:32:30the blame on me. There once was a shooting up in the Klandre when
- 1:32:39they got damn mgroove. Folks were putting the blame of the blading known as
- 1:32:47lou that's a story that when around. But here's the down put the blame
- 1:33:01with the blame on ma May didn't dance called the hitching con. That's the
- 1:33:10thing that slew my bruise. So you can't with the blame on me.
- 1:33:15Boys, don't blame on thank you word, don't tell Mama's peace to you,
- 1:33:35happy peace. Listen, everybody, we've basically have kind of a little
- 1:33:44bit sort of but I'm sadly we're we're gonna go until five o'clock, okay,
- 1:33:50And the difficulty is that we unfortunately started late, okay, an hour
- 1:33:58and a half late, so that means we would have had another hour and
- 1:34:01a half worth of talent. Okay, Well, we still have till five
- 1:34:04o'clock. So what we're gonna do now is sort of what they call in
- 1:34:09show business and improvisation of Listen to the people we're gonna put together right now,
- 1:34:15who we're gonna sing great important songs. All right, Why don't you
- 1:34:18all come up like Marvin Gaye, Madonna, Elvis Presley, Elton John and
- 1:34:29they're all gonna sing together because they're really into peace, okay, and for
- 1:34:34giving their songs that they came here to sing. So I need everybody's spirit
- 1:34:45to create this wonderful group and loving and Stephen, mister Forster, this guy's
- 1:34:54related to Stephen Forster. No, he's not sort of related. No,
- 1:34:59yes, yes, you got your name, Bruce, Stephen Foster, Christine
- 1:35:04Marie, Ralph Carey, Russ Davis, Douglas Cortez. I'm gina musa.
- 1:35:15Okay, they're all. I don't know how this is gonna work, but
- 1:35:17we should have more mics up here. We're in the prices of getting more
- 1:35:20mics because we're gonna save time right now by everybody appearing here, and each
- 1:35:27and every one of them had a great song. We had celebration, had
- 1:35:30an original song. He's He's kind of what was the name of it,
- 1:35:35America Salutes you, America Salutes you. Perfect for all these wonderful police people,
- 1:35:43military service. We wanted a section in our show for the service people,
- 1:35:47because without the service people, we don't have peace. There's no doubt
- 1:35:50about it. Okay, until all us humans love and hold each other in
- 1:35:58harmony and in respect, we need we need management, We need people to
- 1:36:03oversee those kinds of things. Rick come up here, and sing two because
- 1:36:08we're not gonna get up here. Leanna, Leah, Leiah, come up
- 1:36:11here, come on on stage. So I'm also gonna bring up some people
- 1:36:15who have been with the peace movement for a long time. Do we have
- 1:36:18any more mics? In any case, we're gonna pass it around. These
- 1:36:21are real. So for twenty one years we've been doing the International Day of
- 1:36:27Peace, and we've been doing it through the belief of camaraderie and through love
- 1:36:33and through kindness and through peace. Okay, we're gonna go. You ready,
- 1:36:39this will be fun, true Marvin Gaye, this is a serious song.
- 1:36:44What's going on? Track twenty three? All got mics? I'll sing
- 1:36:48two. I don't know if they don't. Oh No, Hello everybody,
- 1:36:59how y'all doing mo the mother? There's too many of you crging brother,
- 1:37:15brother, brother, there's not too many pervers dagging. You know, We've
- 1:37:24got to find a way to break someding here today. We don't need to
- 1:37:42say hello boy, it's not the answer. Lord is not We need dedicate
- 1:37:50to you. So we got to find the way to bring some lovely picket
- 1:38:01lines and picket signs. Don't punish me with Brude talent. He's good.
- 1:38:11Talk to me so you can see what's going on. What's going on,
- 1:38:19what's going on? What's going on? What's going on? Everybody? International?
- 1:38:48Deal? Peace? We gotta vibrate a little bit higher a the mother
- 1:39:00Ah, you know who are there to jog? Johns, jesseycaus I has
- 1:39:09all you know. You've got to find a way. Gotta find a way.
- 1:39:21It gets signed. Geigned punish me with ptality, he said, talk
- 1:39:31to me. You can't see jo what's going on? What's going out?
- 1:39:40Tell me what's going out? What's going on? Everybody? What is international?
- 1:39:57Their piece? I'm gonna talk to you about Danna, what's going on?
- 1:40:04What's going on? He stops going on? What's grub shot? What's
- 1:40:09going on? You Gray? What's coming on? Russha? What's going on?
- 1:40:15Hard courses? They're ready going said it. What's going on? That
- 1:40:18question is relevant? What's coming? By hell? That's going on? We
- 1:40:24gotta start getting solutions to the problems we got. We did, y'all.
- 1:40:28We sit the hit of the song. We would have appeared to be like
- 1:40:31this, but the worst little pieces about almosts is like getting together at the
- 1:40:38moment to make it down the plan. I'm what's going on, what's going
- 1:40:49on? What's going on? I say, I's going on? What's going
- 1:40:57on? What's going on? What's going on? What's going on? Russia?
- 1:41:04What's going on? You? Ukraine? What's going on? So Dan,
- 1:41:10what's going on? What's going on? What's going on? What we
- 1:41:18did it? Wait? Hey Georgia, Georgia, Georgia, Georgia, Hey,
