- Jackson: Hello everyone, welcome back. My name's Jackson Allen, that's Davis Bowman, and this is the Mike Check Podcast. I'm getting better with my nods and Davis: Where's the where's the where's the headline? Yeah. Jackson: I'm gett I'm getting better. I'm getting better. I'm getting the hang of this thing. This is what, episode five? Four? Something like that? Davis: Yeah. Five, I five I think, right? Jackson: Yeah, something like I'm getting the hang getting the hang this thing. Davis: Yeah, we've been cranking out. Jackson: Yeah, we have. so on today's agenda we're kinda gonna talk about some season stuff as a whole, we're gonna go through Davis and I's College World playoff predictions and also some week zero stuff. So finally finally that time to start making some picks and Football starts here in a couple of days, so any any news to to Davis: Yeah. Jackson: get into before we get rolling on the the bracket stuff or or you wanna get right into it? Davis: Yeah, only thing I can think of is that I don't think the saga for NFL players coming back to college is gonna end anytime soon. I know that the Big Twelve or the Big Ten and the SEC as conferences kind of outlawed it and then said that they were going to you know, levy down suspensions and fines and whatnot, but From what I've been reading, apparently all the lawyers are, you know, saying they're willing to fight that. So I don't think a end is in sight and it's probably just gonna continue on until until there's actually actually a like full time solution, which we're probably far far away from. Jackson: So what is like the I haven't been super involved slash keeping up with it. What is the are they all just getting like a TRO? Like can they all play right as of now? Davis: So yeah, essentially with the new like five for five rule, there was players that technically were excluded or or didn't get to like realize that opportunity because they'd already Jackson: Right. Davis: like gone to the NFL. So then a bunch of these players got TROs from mostly a judge in Baton Rouge that said, you know. you should still be able to play essentially. so sued the NCA and then the NCA, I mean at this point doesn't have that much power, especially not over lawyers, so couldn't do anything with that. and then now essentially the conferences are coming out and saying, Well, we have the ability as a conference, as a, you know, like as a collective of ADs to levy down suspensions based on a conference's rules, right? And essentially where you get at is you're gonna have another judge that says, Well, the we're gonna play anyways, and then we're gonna call your bluff on you handing down a d a suspension. And if you do, we're gonna sue you. and then you're really just back at square square one. So it's Jackson: Yeah. Davis: it's just a chase in your tail nonstop. It's it's gonna get ugly. I think the one silver lining is that the SEC kinda as a whole voted sixteen sixteen votes to zero votes that it should be outlawed, and then fifteen votes to zero votes on the punishment. with LSU being the one school that technically did not vote. So, I mean, it's unanimous, but we'll see, we'll see how far Lane Kiffin wants to go with it all. Jackson: Yeah, it's it's getting messy and I don't think it's gonna get any cleaner. Davis: I mean at this point we're we're s a week away from the season and they haven't been practicing, so like what's the what's the turnaround time even if they are eligible? Like I yeah, I don't know. Jackson: Yeah. That's I I don't know either. That's that's a good it's a good question. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I really don't know what's gonna happen, so I guess it's just kind of Davis: Yeah. Jackson: a a we'll see thing, but Davis: Yeah. And I'm not a lawyer, so I'm sure I butchered a lot of that. so if I'm wrong, please please let me know. Jackson: Yeah, a lot of technical stuff involved with the whole situation. I'm not super in tune with it, so I'm Davis: Yeah. Jackson: scrolling Twitter and seeing if there's any groundbreaking updates, but until then I'm just watching Davis: Yeah. Jackson: watching ball and whoever's out there is is out there, so Davis: Yeah. Yep. Well that that Jackson: All right. You Davis: kinda killed the mood a little bit. Jackson: I mean It is what it is, though. Like it's just kind of an unfortunate circumstance we're dealing with in in college football nowadays. Like it's a disaster and no one really knows how to fix it. I think the five for five thing is a good step forward, but like you said, there's all that gray area with with the guys that declared for the the draft and didn't know that they could use the extra year of eligibility. So once this wave of the twenty twenty two class gets out of the way. I think maybe we could be headed in in the right direction, but who knows, we'll see. Davis: I I think until think until schools recognize these student athletes as employees and then a collective bargaining agreement is agreed upon between the conferences and the NCA and then the players who are now employees, there's never going to be any like clarity or like resolution to this problem. And schools and the NCA, the last thing they want to do is like name their students employees because there's so much additional things that come with that. Jackson: Right. Davis: like healthcare benefits and I don't even know. A lot a lot of stuff apparently. A lot of a lot of stuff, but Jackson: Yeah, I get I get what you're saying. A lot of baggage that comes when you label someone as an employee, so Davis: Exactly. Jackson: yeah, that's definitely understandable. Davis: And and you're not gonna agree on a like collective bargaining agreement with like what the NFL does between the players union and then the NFL. You can't do that if the if the other party is technically not even employees. So you're in this you're in this weird like gray area, where you were originally not paying them at all and then all of a sudden they have so much control and there's no rules to really in force and then it's just become the wild west. Jackson: Yep, it has. It definitely has. Alright, you Davis: Yeah. Jackson: wanna jump into some playoff stuff? Davis: Yeah, let's do it. Jackson: All right. So first off we have Davis's bracket. Davis, I will just click through this and let you give some talking points along the way. So let's get rolling. Davis: Yeah. So we we each kinda gave a stab at it going through our predictions. I tried to go not super chalky. so there's there's maybe some surprises in here. and with that there might be some disagreements from maybe some over-unders that we talked about earlier. but I think overall the The theme of this kind of aligns with everything that we've been talking about throughout throughout the season. so yeah. First off, twelve seed representing the group of five, Boise State. we'll go to the 11th seed. this is a sleeper pick, team that I've been high on, mainly because of the quarterback. had them as one of my stronger overpicks in the Big Ten episode. So I got them here at the 11th seed, and that's the Washington Huskies. number ten, Oklahoma, another team that I'm high on. from the SEC, bring back John Mateer. I think that he can play like he did at the beginning of last season before he had that hand in injury. I think that defense will continue to be elite. yeah, I like Oklahoma. nine seed Texas. I think I'm noted lower on Arch Manning than consensus, but There there was just too much talent to leave them off off of the playoff bracket. I wanted to, just couldn't. Miami. I think some people might think that this is a little low, especially given the a weaker ACC. I think I think there's a a slip up or two throughout the schedule, which is why I don't have them as a top seven seed, have him as the eight seed here. but still think that they win the ACC. Seventh seed in Indiana. Jackson: Indiana. Sorry that Davis: not the big ten champs like they were last year, but still a strong season from Kirk Sinetti and the Indiana Hoosers. Texas A and I believe in Marcel Reed. He's been inconsistent. made it to the playoffs last year. I like the weapons around him. I believe in Mike Elko. I think they put it all together and I I like what they have going for this season. And then five C Texas Tech. So I think they win the big twelve. Don't think that there's a whole lot of teams pushing them in the Big Twelve, but I think they slip up and I think one slip up is enough to knock them out of the top four. have Georgia at number one at number four. I think they win the SEC. but with a strong middle tier in the SEC, I think that that could be two losses for Georgia. but due to the strong Jackson: We lost Davis. Welcome dude. Davis: Were you able to hear me? Jackson: No, you done with Georgia? Davis: Yeah. Yeah. All right. Jackson: Okay. Alright, we'll start with Oregon. Davis: Yeah. Next, Oregon. I have them as the three seed here. which means I don't have them winning the big ten. but still have a strong enough resume to get a first shown by two seed. Notre Dame I think we could see an undefeated regular season here. with only one or two like impressive wins. So I think even with an undefeated season they don't get the one seed Due to Ohio State winning the Big Ten, and having a much tougher schedule along the way. So I think if if you say that Ohio State has one loss and wins the Big Ten and Notre Dame is undefeated, I I think that Notre Dame still gets or Ohio State still gets that one seed. So anything stand out with you here? Jackson: To in the first round games. Davis: Just with the bracket so far the seating. Jackson: no, I think you make a good point with the Ohio State being the one seed over Notre Dame. spoiler alert, well actually I won't say that. I have I think I think Notre Dame will go twelve and but it with their schedule, I think if you're right, if there's a w eleven and one Big Ten team or an eleven and one SEC team, they'll probably get the nod for that number one seed. So I think good call there. Washington I think is interesting. They play a pretty tough schedule. how many SEC teams do you have? Davis: four. Jackson: two three four you don't have the fifth SEC team so that's one thing we talked about I know earlier in the season. Davis: No, I don't have the fifth SEC team. Yeah. Yeah. thought the nine game schedule could hurt the SEC. So, that was something that I I believed in. not something that I agree agree with, but something that I believe the committee would do. So only kept four SEC teams in here. and then I guess there's four Big Ten teams as well. so eight out of the eleven potential p power four schools come from those two conferences. and then Texas Tech, representative of the Big Twelve, obviously makes sense. I think they get a I think I think they can win, I think they can lose one game and not get a top four. Well I think in this hypothetical that could be the case. All right. So starting with the first matchup, Boise State, Texas Tech. yeah, think think it's it's over in the first quarter, like the past group of five games have been. Texas, Miami is an interesting one. I wanted to to keep Texas out of here, but figured the talent was too much. However, I do have them losing to Miami in the first round. so in this hypothetical, I know the expectations were very high. Do you think that a first round exit is enough to satisfy Texas fans or you think that Sartre goes into the the offseason with a little bit of a warm seat? Jackson: definitely think that seat'll be warm if they lose in the first round. The spending the spending that they're doing at Texas is not is not to get to the College World playoff, it's to win games in the playoff and and get to a national championship. So I think if if that if that e season ends after round one, there's gonna be some question marks about Sarkin Austin. Davis: Yeah. Yeah. Definitely an underwhelming season, no doubt. All right, next I have Texas A and and Washington. Cinderella story of Washington ends here. got Texas Tech. next game, Oklahoma, Indiana. I think that the Sooners prevail, like John Mateer, like Brent Venables. not sure we see back to back deep Indiana playoff runs. All right. Jackson: On the road, you think Oklahoma gets it down on the road? Davis: Yeah and here they do. Jackson: Right. All right, Texas Tech and Georgia, quarter finals. Who you got? Davis: Yeah, so Before we talked about in our SEC preview that we were a little lower on the top tier SEC teams and higher on the middle tier SEC teams. I know you as Georgia you bring back Gunnar Stockton, but I do have question marks about the weapons around them. Texas Tech has a lot of talent. A lot of talent. I know that this would be a four five matchup, but I would assume that Georgia would have be like three or four point favorites. so in this case, give me the upset. So Miami, Ohio State, this is a rematch of the playoffs last year. I think y'all have heard me multiple times talk about Arthur Smith ruining Ohio State. This is a game that he does it in. gimme Miami. Jackson: Miami does it to him again. Ends our season, second year in a row. Davis: Yep. Jackson: Bull take. Davis: All right. Next one. Oregon Texas A Oregon steamrolls. Oklahoma, Notre Dame. too much talent. Notre Dame can definitely match the physicality up front from Oklahoma. Give me Notre Dame. then we have Texas Tech Miami. I went back and forth with this one for a while. and I think I ended up changing it. I I think I submitted it and then changed it again. But I think I went with the quarterback that I believe in more, Darien Minsa. Even though there's rumors of Castellanos coming back for Texas Tech, I don't think that changes anything, even if he does. Gimme Miami with a return to the college football playoff national championship. All right, Oregon, Notre Dame. shouldn't come as a surprise. gimme Oregon. And then we got Oregon, Miami. Miami, who is now returning back, do they get it done? versus the Oregon team that seems to continue to slip up in their biggest game each year. I really like what Oregon has put together. I think this is the best O line and D line tandem that Oregon has had ever. They've always had weapons. They've always had good quarterback play, but I really like the trenches for them. And then I think Dante Moore wins the Heisman, wins the national championship, and is the number one overall pick in the NFL draft. Jackson: You're big on organ this year, Davis. You've been consistent since the beginning. You r you do. Davis: I know I got a lot I got a lot riding on Oregon. I they they might miss the playoffs and then y'all won't ever see me again. Jackson: All right. Let's move on. Let's move on to my picks. Alright. So for my twelfth seed, I have the UNLV Rebels. I think Dan Mullen has acquired a lot of I don't want to say washed up talent, but five star talent that has come from bigger schools that maybe hasn't worked out so well at the bigger school. But and then they've all somehow ended up at UNLV. now I don't want to say th all of them, but Th there's a good bit of I mean Jackson Arnold, Alex Orgy are two quarterbacks that are battling it out. Apparently, I think that's gonna be Jackson Arnold. But there's some talent on UN L V. They had a good season last year, so I think they can make a run and and possibly get the twelfth seed in the playoffs. So that's my that's my my G five team. The eleven team. I have Texas A and I think they're the last SEC team that sneaks into the playoff. I think they play a decent schedule, but it's not unbearable like some of the other teams in the conference. So I think Marcel Reid and Mike Elko get in kind of sneak in the tournament there at the at the very end. Davis: They win it they win against Texas to submit their their playoff berth. Jackson: Yep. Let's see. With my ten seed I had USC. I liked him as my sleeper pick. I think Myava's a really good quarterback, Lincoln Riley. I think they have a really special slash unique weapon in Bowman at the tight end position. I think that's something they're gonna try to exploit a lot and use him a lot in their offense. So I think they'll be able to outscore some teams. I wasn't as high on necessarily in my big ten pawn, but in our big tin pod but will kinda kinda talk me into the US C terrain so let give me US C Ninth seed of Alabama. I think Bama's gonna surprise some people this year. I'm a big believer in Keelan Russell. The offensive line, as we mentioned before, is a question, but the defense is gonna be, in my opinion, incredible. I think the weapons will be decent on the outside. I'm not worried about the running back room. If the offensive line could just hold up a little bit, I think I think Bama can do some damage and their schedule. similar to A and it's not just horrible. You know, they have the four game gauntlet in the middle of the season that if they can go two and two in that and then win the rest of their games that they should win, I think they'll get in the playoff and I think they'll be the number nine seed. Davis: The schedule sets up nice for a first time starting quarterback, I will say that. Jackson: It does. It does. So I think Bama's a team that a lot of people are sleeping on, but like I said, if you look at their schedule, a ten and two season is very manageable if Keelan Russell is what people say he is. So don't be surprised to see Alabama in the playoff. And then I have a rematch of last year. I got I got them playing Indiana. Again, I think Indiana slips up a few times, Davis: Mm. Jackson: being being the hunted, if you will, instead of the hunter. I just think it's gonna be a a little bit of a different season this year for them. I like Josh Hoover, but I don't love Josh Hoover. So I think he may cost them some games late in his turnover problems. So I still have them in, but I have them as the nine seed. Seventh seed after Texas Tech. I think they slip up in the regular season. That's why I have them so low. I do think they win the Big Twelve, but I think they lose a game or two in the regular season. I think not getting Soresby is a big deal for me. I know they have a lot of talent. They spend a lot of money, but if you don't have a quarterback that you can really trust, it's hard for me to believe that you're not going to slip up in some of these big time games. So still think they win the big twelve. Still think they're gonna be a good team. But yeah, I have them as my seventh seed. Sixth seed Georgia. Davis: So so I I do wanna cut you off there. I think everything that you're hearing out of Texas Tech is how much they believe in Will Hammond. but I think that their actions speak louder than their words. And the fact that, you know, they're on this pursuit for Tommy Castellanos, I think trumps everything that they've said so far. So While he might not even be eligible, I think that there's at least some some you know, talks in that building that maybe Will Hammond isn't that guy. Jackson: Yeah, I agree a hundred percent. Okay. All right. Sixth seed. Georgia. I think they're gonna have a good team this year. Gunnar Stockin another quarterback that I think is extremely underrated. I know they'll be solid on defense with Kirby Smart as their head coach. Sixth seed for me, I think I think they just lose the SEC title game. to me that's really all there is to it. I think they have a good year in the regular season, get to Atlanta, but are not able to win. All right, five seed. I have the Big Ten loser in Ohio State. I think they'll have a a great team this year. I'm high on Ohio State. I just don't think they're gonna win the Big Ten. So I have them as a five seed playing UNLV in the first round. That's my fourth seed. I have ACC Champ Miami. I think they lose that one game to Notre Dame. Might slip up against a team like one of those upper tier teams in the AC. so that's why I have the ACC champ as my four seed. Three C Texas. SEC champ. I was kinda up and down on Texas and I was hesitant to put them here. Texas is a team that I think if they can get Pass some of the bumps in their schedule. they can get to Atlanta and I think they can win the SEC and I think they can do some damage come playoff time. To me, I think it's going to be a test to if they can even make it this far. we went over in the SEC pod. They play a tough schedule, they play a lot of tough games on the road. So I'm not I don't think Arch Manning has necessarily proved that he is all he's hyped up to be right now, but I think this year is gonna be a big year for him. They add a big weapon to Cam Coleman. They should have a decent offensive line. You add Hollywood some others, and I think he'll have enough weapons around him to to help him take that next step. And I think he's gonna be very, very solid for Texas this year. Three seed, Oregon, big ten champ. Davis, I don't think I need to go much into Oregon. I c I agree with most everything you say about them. They upgraded along the trenches. I think that's the biggest difference between this year's Oregon team and Oregon teams of the past. I'm a big believer in Dante Moore. They have the weapons on the outside. They got the team to do it this year. I think it's definitely title or bust for Oregon. And Davis: Have I gotten you on board or or is this a take that you think you've had from the start? Have I rubbed off on you a little bit? Jackson: You've rubbed off a little bit. I've been high on Oregon ever since Dante Moore announced he was coming back. Once you once once they announced that that he was coming back, you kind of start to peel back the layers and see kind of what what they still have there and you know, can this be a team that can win a title? And after looking into Oregon and after hearing your all your takes, I'm I'm a believer, so I'm on definitely on the organ train this year. Davis: Yeah. Let's see who let's see who you have for your number one seed. Tao Jackson: That's funny, Davis. Davis made this graphic and I guess you thought that would be You got me. That was a good one. That was a good one. Number one seed I have Notre Dame. I didn't think about what you had said earlier about even if they go twelve and that one of these big ten or SEC teams could could jump So I may going back I may actually reconsider that. But I think there's like I said, I think Texas could slip. I think Miami could slip. Oregon. I don't know, Oregon's gonna be pretty dang good this year, so but I think Notre Dame, the reason I have them as the number one seed is because I think they're going twelve and ACC pod, we talked well, I know they're not in a conference, but ACC Big Twelve Pod, we talked about how they only play a three game schedule. They have those three tough games and then the rest of their games are against teams that probably won't make a bowl game. So I think the regular season will be f somewhat easy for Notre Dame. I think they're playing with a little bit of revenge on their minds from from last year's college football playoff snub. I like Marcus Freeman. They've added some guys on the defense. You obviously have to replace your two running backs, but I think Notre Dame's gonna be very, very, very good this year. All right, first round matchup Davis: What about Augur? Okay. Jackson: no comment that on that one. Ohio State UNLV, not much to say here. I got Ohio State. Bama, Indiana. I actually got I got Bama in this one. I think we we get some revenge of our own and take care of business there. I think Josh Hoover, I'm worried about the turnover problems against a defense like Alabama. I think when he plays very good defenses, Indiana's gonna have problems. I don't think they'll have problems against Teams with with lesser defenses. I think as Will mentioned, they'll be able to kinda just p plug and chug and and be successful with him with them running the football and just kinda throwing these these shorter and intermediate routes. But against a tough defense I worry about Josh Hoover. So I think Bamba gets the upset in a revenge game. A and him in Georgia. I got Georgia. I just I Kirby Smart or Mike Elko, I think I'm taking Kirby Smart all day. I think the talent's somewhat even. I like Marcel Reed, but I also like Gunnar Stockton. I don't think he gets enough love, so I got Georgia there. And then I got USC pulling the upset. Again, back to the quarterback thing. I don't trust Will Hammond and I trust Lincoln Riley. I trust Lincoln Riley to score a whole bunch of points. So I think USC pulls the upset against Tech, who at this point in the year would have not played a lot of these upper tier teams. So I think running into a big team is gonna be Not very good for Texas Tech. Ohio State, Miami, I got Ohio State. I like Miami, but I think I think the talent on Ohio State's just just deeper. Miami's got a lot of talent, don't get me wrong, with Darien Minsk and Malachi Tony. And you mentioned you mentioned replacing those two guys on on the defensive side of the ball, the edge rushers. So this is also a revenge game. I got a lot of revenge games in this thing, but I got Ohio Davis: I know, I was about the Jackson: State. I got Ohio State because of that. Notre Dame, Bama, I got Notre Dame. I just think I think they're two good. And I think the the inexperienced long offensive line kinda catches up to Bama in this game. so Notre Dame I think gets the win. Texas, Georgia. Davis: I think those th those would be two bad matchups for Alabama, in this hypothetical. Two Jackson: Yeah. I agree, and I think Davis: two two physical teams that match up well. Jackson: Extremely physical teams. And I think if they get by the first one, I don't think they're gonna get by the second one. I think depth becomes an issue at that point. So Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Notre Dame. Texas, Georgia in a rematch of my SEC championship, I will have Georgia winning this one. I don't think Texas gets them twice. But like I mentioned, I think this is kind of a a fifty fifty for me. I just think the winner of the first game won't win the second game, so I'm going Georgia in this one. And then again, Oregon USC. I like Gorgan. I like Dante Moore and Dan Lanning. I just think they get the job done. Better team. Much better team. Ohio State, Notre Dame. I got Notre Dame. I'm on the Notre Dame train this year. Kinda covered covered most everything on Notre Dame and then Georgia. Oregon. I like Oregon. Natty, national championship game. Notre Dame, Oregon. I'm going with Notre Dame. I think they finally get over the hump and and raise the trophy this year. I like Marcus Freeman. I like CJ Carr. I think they have all the pieces to do it. But I think Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Oregon does too. I think a lot of these teams do. I just Davis: Yeah. It's wide open this year. Jackson: it really like I could have made ten different brackets that looked completely different and felt good Davis: Yeah. Jackson: about or felt decent about them all. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I just don't think there's a clear cut one, two, three Davis: Yeah. Jackson: teams that that I think could win it all. I think there's literally almost every team on this whole page I think could win the whole thing. so yeah. Davis: And and if I so I think the team that had the the highest odds at the national champion national championship Ohio State, neither one of us had them in our in our championship. second was it Texas or was it Yeah, one of them. Yeah. Jackson: Texas Oregon, maybe? One of They're all kind of jumbled. Like I said, like we don't even we don't even know 'cause they're all so jumbled up. Davis: Yeah. And so if it's Texas, I I had a first round exit and you had a second round exit. So I mean it's it it could be anybody. And it is, you know, it kind of on brand for us. in the first episode we had as our contenders title favorites Oregon and Notre Dame, so we're staying consistent there. So who's the who's the Heisman winner in this scenario? Does CJ Carr get it or who you who you got? Jackson: No, I d I don't think CJ Carr gets it just because obviously Davis: He's not gonna put up the numbers. Jackson: Right, and then the Heisman's decided before this this happens. Davis: Right. Jackson: So I don't think a twelve and season for Notre Dame playing the the cupcake schedule they have is gonna be enough to win him the Heisman. I like Dante Moore. I think Dante Moore I think if Oregon wins the Big Ten playing in a tough league like that, I think I think he's gonna win the Heisman trophy. Davis: So we got two two on the Dante Moore Heisman Heisman train. Jackson: Yeah. Could be Arch. Could be Arch, but I'm going with Dante Moore. Davis: Yeah. Yeah. I guess if we wanna make a couple other predictions with these awards, I think I'm gonna go chalk and go Jeremiah Smith for the Blitnikov generational prospect. I think people are kinda getting bored with him comparing, you know, saying that there's other receivers that are kinda in his in his tier. I don't think so. yeah. Jackson: I'm gonna go a different round. I'm gonna go Malachi Tony in at Miami, I think. I you're you're getting a new quarterback, but at the same time, I have a lot of confidence in Darren Mensah. So and Tony's a beast. I I think people started to learn his name come playoff time, so I think he's gonna be one of those names that people are looking out for going into the year. and I think, you know, no offense with these awards, they're not always about numbers. It's more about a number slash recognition slash what team you're on combination. So Davis: Yeah, I mean these are writers voting on these things, so it's definitely Jackson: Exactly. Yeah. Davis: the the the names that that went up. yeah. Jackson: Yeah, so I think I think he's the shiny new object that people are gonna be looking at this year and I think I think he can win the blunt cough. Davis: Yeah, I yeah, I think I think it's a three man race for that between Jeremiah Smith, Malachi Tony, and Cam Coleman out of Texas. I'd be I'd be shocked if it was if it was anyone outside of that three. And I think if you made me choose it'd probably be Ryan Williams. But Jackson: Yeah. I I think I think Ryan Williams is gonna have a big year. I know as a Alabama fan that may not mean much to you, but I think with a new quarterback that's gonna be looking his way a lot, I don't know. I j I j I just think I think this is gonna be a big year for Ryan Williams coming off somewhat of a sophomore slump last year. Davis: I agree. he got a lot of flack for the drops, which I mean, there there were some bad ones, but I mean, you look back and a lot of them were concentration drops. I don't see any reason that that that those can't be fixed. electric, great body control, explosive, good after the catch. I'm a I e even though he plays for Alabama, I'm a Ryan Williams truther. Jackson: Like that. Any other awards you want to get into or Davis: Yeah, I guess Doke Walker. I had Miami in the championship, but I think that that's off the back of Darien Minsa. I'm gonna go a little bit off the off the trail and go Isaac Brown, running back from Louisville. maybe not a common name. might not have heard of him. as a listener, but he is very explosive going into his junior year. I think he put up a thousand yards as a freshman. So I mean he burst onto the scene early on. I think he should get more recognition than he's been getting. So he's he's a player to look out for and for the sake of not going top guy, I'll go Isaac Brown. Jackson: I'm gonna go straight chalk and go Lacey at Ole Miss. I think the one two punch is just It's it's gonna be too much for a lot of these teams and I think I think Wilmess may struggle a little bit this year. I know those points are kinda counterintuitive, Davis: No. Jackson: but I think they're gonna feed him the ball a lot. so Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I like P1 Lacey to have a to have a big year and I think I think he'll win the the Dog Walker Award. Davis: Yeah. All right. Well you have a couple teams in your bracket that are playing in week zero. UNLV, USC. so let's let's segue that to the week zero games. Alright, so here's the slate. obviously got the eight games here with FBS teams. Yeah, I'll let you kick it off and we can kinda run through and then we'll give our picks for a select set of games a little bit later. Jackson: Yeah, so I think just starting off with North Carolina and T C U, that game obviously in Ireland. Davis: Mm-hmm. Jackson: I think I'm high on TCU. I think TCU is a much better team. I've heard rain's gonna be a problem or could be a problem here. I heard conditions would could be wet, windy, all the above. Davis: Mm-hmm. Jackson: I do think TCU's gonna look a little bit different this year with Jaden Craig and a new offensive coordinator. I think they're gonna try to slow the ball down a lot, run the ball, and just kind of just kind of milk these drives a little bit more than than you saw with Josh Hoover North Carolina I think you just have a lot of question marks. Davis: New O C Bobby Petrino. That's a that's a that's an interesting one. Jackson: New OC Bobby Petrino. I I I think I you you could see some surprises there with him in trying to catch some of these TCU D Bs off guard. so I wouldn't be surprised if they kinda did what they did last year and scored early. But I don't there's just so much chaos with that program right now. Davis: Mm-hmm. Jackson: I'm not big believers in North Carolina. I'm kinda similar to TCU. I think they're gonna try to run the ball. I think this will be a slower pace game. But ultimately I think I think TCU gets it done and wins pretty pretty convincingly. So that's kind of my take Davis: Yeah. Jackson: on the game. Davis: Yeah. Yep. Eleven AM Central Time. So it's the first game to start us off on Saturday. should be a fun one to watch. Lot of storylines. Just like Jackson said, so much chaos that's going on in that program right now. So I'm looking forward to it. it's in Ireland. Anything can happen too. So last year we had the Georgia Tech upset over Florida State, which was Jackson: Two years ago. Davis: a that was two years ago. Jackson: Yeah. 'Cause we lost to Florida State last year. Davis: yeah, that's right. Yeah. Jackson: Yeah. Last year I can't I think I think I who w it was another it was another the Northwestern, maybe? Davis: Yeah, northwestern Iowa State, I think. Jackson: Yeah, right. That's right. So th a lot of weird stuff. Davis: Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Two years ago we had the big upset. Jackson: Yeah, well a lot of weird stuff with with these Ireland games, so kinda Davis: Yeah. Jackson: hesitant to to to feel strongly either way, but I think another thing to watch out for is I mentioned TCU's gonna want to go slower, but I don't think they're gonna go, you know, super slow. I think North Carolina, on the other hand, really is gonna try to milk it. And if TCU gets ahead early, I think it's gonna be hard for them to play catch up with the style of offense and the style of play that they're gonna wanna the plays they're gonna want wanna run and and how they're gonna wanna play. So I don't know I don't think they'll be able to throw the ball the ball very well. So yeah, so something to watch out for. Davis: Yeah. All right, San Jose State USC projected to be a blowout. I mean, does this start Jaden Maiava's Heisman campaign? I'm sure they're I'm sure Trojan fans are hoping so. but yeah, I think this one will be over early. Jackson: Yeah, not much to add here. I think Lincoln Riley's just gonna have a field day against a against a really poor defense and I think they're gonna blow him out. So like US C big in that Davis: Right. Probably the best game of the slate, or I think undoubtedly, NC State, Virginia. two teams that I believe that we were at or above market on in the ACC, I believe. Virginia, I know for a fact that we both were. So I mean it's always it's always fun when week zero, one of these teams is gonna have a conference loss. So a lot riding with these two teams here. Jackson: Yeah. So for me, NC State lost a lot of guys last year. They lose Noah Rodgers, they lose Hollywood Smothers to Texas, obviously, Jacarius Peak to South Carolina, the the offensive lineman. Hollywood Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Smothers led the league, I think, in in rushing last year. So it's just a lot of new moving parts for an offense that in week one against the conference team is gonna be It's gonna be hard to to succeed early on, I think. It it's it's tough going into the season and not having one of these cupcake teams that you play to kind of get everything rolling, get everything adjusted, learn the offense, kind of mesh and figure everything out. So on top of all that, you're going on the road. so I I think it'll be tough for N C State. I'm a believer in in CJ Bailey, but He's gonna have to put the team on on his back, I think, if Virginia's gonna win this game. And I think, I mean, excuse me, if if NC State's gonna win this game. And I think he can. I definitely think he can. He's he's athletic enough. I think his ratio last year was 25 to 6, 25 touchdowns, six interceptions. So the the talent's there. He's a good quarterback, but for now, he's gonna have to do it himself until this office can figure it out. On the flip side with Virginia, Pribula, I think. Probula, I don't know to pronounce his name. Transfer from Missouri quarterback. he played he played better against kind of lesser competition last year in the SEC. So maybe a transition to the ACC will be a benefit for him. I think he I think he could do well. You know, I know it's kind of the ev what everyone talks about is the age Virginia's team. Their offensive line, I think, is all seniors, like some six year seniors. So and they weren't great last year, but I think having experience along the offensive line, especially in these week one games, is is extremely important. so yeah. Last year's game, I think into thirty five, thirty one, a lot of explosive plays that I think both sides will try to limit. So yeah, that's my take. Davis: Yeah. 430 Central Jacksonville State against first time FBS team North Dakota State. this is obviously an interesting one. we'll immediately see just how well North Dakota State transitions to the FBS level. I mean they're immediately a seven point favorite. So that just shows you the respect that they, you know, carried over from the SC FCS level. did lose talent with Cole Payton at quarterback. I think he I believe he was a draft pick to the Eagles. I think he he he definitely went day three if he went at all. And then also their receiver, Bryce Lance, was drafted on day three to the Saints. So I mean they had talent. We'll see if they replace it, but I think the seven is an interesting line considering Jacksonville State has you know, had suc some success in conference USA of late. Jackson: Yeah. I mean it being their first North Dakota State's first FPS game after what feels like years of waiting, I think is a huge deal. You get at home. Davis: Fargo Dome. Jackson: It's a must win game for North Dakota State. But on the flip side, Jacksville State is a good team. I believe they've hosted two conference championship games, in the past two seasons. I think they returned their quarterback. they have a receiver that's huge. I think he's six five, six six, getting looked at by by NFL scouts. So, Davis: I think you're underselling it. I think he's like six eight. I don't I don't know Jackson: Is he six eight? You might be right. Davis: his name, but I saw something about it. But I think he's yeah, I think it's like basketball level tall. Jackson: Yeah, and and then they returned some guys, I think, in the secondary. So I don't think this is this is necessarily a a gimme for North Dakota State here. Jacksonville State's a good team. I think that number's moving a lot because people don't know a lot about Jacksonville State and they Davis: Yeah. Jackson: do hear a lot about North Dakota State. So I'd be careful with that one, but it sh it should be a good game. Davis: Yeah. All right. Next game, Sacramento State, at Eastern Michigan. speaking of first games at the FBS level, that applies to Sacramento State as well. Eastern Michigan is a ten point favorite. it's at five thirty and on ESPN plus. other than that, I don't I don't have a whole lot for ya. Jackson: I don't either. I think Sacramento State's to put it nicely, I I think they're gonna be pretty bad this year. I think this is definitely a big transition year for them, whereas North Dakota State I think can come up and play immediately with some of these FPS schools. I think they're like co conference favorites, maybe. Sacramento State, I do not think that's the case for. I don't know much about Eastern Michigan, but I don't have a lot of belief in in Sacramento. State. Davis: Yeah. All right. Next game you got Hawaii at Stanford. that's at six central. Stanford's a four point favorite, which is interesting 'cause this is probably the only time Stanford's going to be favored all season, most likely. Hawaii does return their quarterback in I think it's Al Alajado. Allah Alejado. I'm probably butchering that, but he was Jackson: We'll go with that. Davis: Yeah. played well against Stanford last year. this is an interesting game because it's also first year head coach for Stanford. and then you have Andrew Luck as that general manager. So we'll see if they take a step forward in year two under that. under I guess his tutelage. Jackson: Yeah. This is interesting to me. I mean Hawaii beat him last year, but if you're Stanford, there's not many games on your schedule that you feel like you can win. You get this one at home, a season opener at a re in a revenge spot. I think if you're Stanford you have to take advantage of this. I'm not w we'll see w what what side I'm going with here in the next segment, but I think I think for Stanford it has to be a must win. Davis: Yeah. All right. Next matchup, New Mexico State and Florida State. I guess unfortunately for the viewer, this is not the Diego Pavia New Mexico State team. so don't have don't have too much expectations for this game, and that's evident in a thirty and a half point line. I think when I made this slide it was thirty and a half and I think since then it's risen to thirty one and a half. So that number's continu continuing to move. Ashton Daniels, new quarterback at Florida State coming over from Auburn. started three or four games at Auburn, was had some up and down moments, so it'll be his his first time going into the season as the as a starter since his days at Stanford. So we'll be fun to see how he does early on. Does have some weapons with Deuce Robinson at receiver. but I think even though I think I'm low on Florida State, I think this game will be over quick and I think that this is Mike Norvell's last win as a Florida State Seminole. Stampin' it now. Jackson: Wow. Wow. Yeah, I I think for me that it's a tough when you look at the spread at thirty it it For a Florida State team that looked horrible most of the year last year, I would say thirty, maybe a little much. But at the same time, are they going into this season with like you said, they they come out of the gates, I think SMU, and then Bama. So not looking very promising out of the gates. So is this one of those games where they just try to lay it on them and and see if if maybe they can spark some kind of Hope in the in the team and in the fans to maybe get this season headed in the right direction. So yeah, I think Florida State may look to score some style points here. I don't think they're really concerned about getting a lot of these third and four string guys in the game. So not sure which way I think this game's gonna go. I think on the other hand, I don't know if Florida State can score. forty points if New Mexico State ends up scoring around ten. So tricky game when you look at the spread, but that's kinda kinda what I my read on on how things may go. Davis: You can watch it on the CW. Jackson: There we go. Davis: Yeah. next game, Memphis, UNLV. I'll let you kick it off, since this is involving your group of five representatives. Jackson: Yeah, so we'll we'll we'll get into picks for this game in a second, but I think these are two really good Group of Five teams. Memphis gets the transfer from West Florida coming in as as their quarterback, Stokes, I think is his name. And I I I was doing a little bit of research on him and he's he's had some good seasons there. or he had a good good year last year, so I think I think that guy may be a name to watch out for when it comes to G five names that could make the college football playoff. I think he's a solid quarterback. I think they have some real game records along the defensive line, which could be a problem for teams that try to run the ball against them. I think they could force him to be one. Davis: Or problem for Jackson Arnold who holds on to the ball for fifteen seconds. Jackson: Yeah, true. UNLV on the other hand, I mentioned it earlier. I think they just have a lot of this recycled talent that Dan Mullen has been able to tap into. So I like UNLV. I think it's like I s said for Stanford, I think it's a must win game at home for both of these teams and and the home factor I think for me is what what may help UNL V get the job done. I think it's a huge game right off the bat. Also you're returning your well, no, that's not true. You're not returning your quarterback. Memphis, right. You Davis: You lose your coach. Memphis loses their coach. Jackson: y you you lose your coach if you're Memphis, so that's that's something to to keep an eye on and and to keep in mind when you're studying this game, but like I said, we'll get into picks in a minute. I don't know if you had anything else to add on on this UNL V Memphis preview. Davis: Dan Mullen said we'd see both quarterbacks, Jackson Arnold and Alex Orgy. I'm curious to see how that works, especially in a game that you would think is probably decently even. Yeah, I I would guess that Arnold probably starts the game. I mean Hugh Freeze Jackson: To me. Davis: was Hugh Freeze was so worried about shaking Arnold's confidence in the offseason last year. and obviously Hugh Freeze knows Jackson Arnold better than I do. I'm curious if the going back and forth from Arnold to Orgy rattles Arnold at all. Jackson: Yeah, I mean to me, like, how can you bring in a guy in Jackson Arnold if you're not if you like obviously they told him that he's gonna be the starting quarterback there. I mean, surely they're paying him like he's gonna be the starter. I don't know exactly what kind of NIL money he's getting, but when when Dan Mullen made his pitch to Jackson Arnold and his camps, I would imagine he went into that conversation saying, You're our guy We have a guy in Alex Hordy that's been on the roster. Obviously they're not seeing what they like from him. So I think it's kind of Jackson Arnold's job to lose here. And with that being said, if we see Davis: Sounds like you started losing it in fall practice at least. Jackson: If we see Alex Orgy, then I think my UNL V college football playoff prediction is kind of out the window. 'Cause I think they missed with the Jackson Arnold evaluation if if we see Alex Davis: Yeah. Jackson: Orgy going going along in the next few games. So Davis: Yeah. I would say if they wanted to bring in Jackson Arnold that they miss with their evaluation. Jackson: Did you never know he turned the clandry around. He turned clandry around, so Davis: No, I'm I'm just kidding. He'll he'll be a a fine G five guy quarterback. Just Jackson: We'll see. Davis: just just not a good SEC quarterback. Jackson: We'll see. Davis: Yeah. All right, Jackson: All right. Davis: let's move on to our picks. we chose kinda I guess the the four biggest games of the week. I think going forward, we'll probably keep this to you know maybe five or six of our our games that, you know, obviously include the bigger games and we'll track our progress as we go. so yeah, kinda talk through what? Jackson: Just just kind of viewer discretion, a lot of these lines have been out for a very long time, so they've adjusted accordingly. So I think week zero is is the hardest to pick, when you're picking the spread. But we'll give it our best go. So I'll let you kick it off. Well, Davis, you're going first on all these, just the way that Davis: Yeah. Jackson: we set this up, so North Carolina TCU, who you got? Davis: I got I ha so straight up I have TCU but I know you alluded to it. I think it's gonna be a slower game. It's gonna be in Ireland. You mentioned rain. nine and a half, too much for me. I'm not high on North Carolina, but yeah, give me the points. I think it'll be seven point game. Jackson: Yeah, and I I could see that. I could see that too. I'm gonna take TCU and I'm gonna lay I think like I said, I I think the when you look at North Carolina and you look at TCU, I think the TCU is just far superior. they're just a a way better team. The talent is better, the coaching is better, the quarterback is better, and to me I think like I mentioned, I think this game if TCU gets ahead early. I think North Carolina's gonna have some problems if they're forced to throw the football. So give me TCU, laying the nine and a half. Davis: All right. next game, NC State at Virginia. Virginia's currently a four point favorite. I thought that was a pretty good line. but I'm gonna go Virginia minus four. I think I think they have the more talented football team. I do like CJ Bailey, but I think Bro Bo Perbula will be able to get it done. a lot of the metrics that I like looking at has this around a four and a half point projection. So I think I'm gonna trust trust those models and go UVA minus four. Jackson: Yeah. I I'm gonna agree with you. I'm gonna go UVA minus four as well. too much uncertainty to me with NC State. Like I said, new running back, new receiver, some movement, new faces along the offensive line. So I just think the experience at Virginia is gonna is gonna ultimately end up helping them win this game. And I also think the home factor as well, I think Starting your season on the road against a conference team of similar caliber is gonna be it's it's a hard it's a hard thing to do. Is to win on the road and and game one with a lot of new faces is is makes it even harder. So I like Virginia. Davis: All right. Next game. Hawaii at Stanford. currently Stanford minus four. I believe that number has actually gone down. I believe that it opened around minus six. So public's public's in on Hawaii pushing that number down. I think I agree with them. click the button because I'm not sure what I picked. There we go. I put Hawaii minus four point five. I think that Jackson: Plus four. Yeah, plus four. Yeah. Davis: Plus four and a half. So I guess this is technically plus four. I went back and forth on this one. Obviously, I couldn't remember what I picked when I made the slides. but yeah, gimme Hawaii plus four and a half. Jackson: I'm gonna go Hawaii as well. and I'll take the points. I just think this game is gonna be I think I think Hawaii will be able to score. last year Hawaii had a a a fairly decent scoring offense and Stanford are ranked a hundred and thirty sixth, I think, in passing defense. I don't remember the side I pulled that from, but a hundred and thirty six, hundred and thirty eighth, whatever. It's it's bad. It's terrible. So I think a Hawaii be will be able to score. So if I'm getting if I'm getting points there with a Stanford offense that I don't trust at all, I will take all of them. So give me a Hawaii plus four and a half. Davis: Nice. Jackson: All right, last one. What you got? Memphis UNL V. Davis: I wanted to take Memphis just because of the quarterback uncertainty and all the narratives going around there. However, new coach with Memphis, UNLV is coming off a ten win season. I think yeah, I th I think the talent is there for UNLV. Give give me give me UNLV in the points. Jackson: So this one was tricky, even though I had UNL V in my college football playoff. I I think Memphis is is the real deal. I like their quarterback, like I said, have s have some solid guys on defense, but I think at the end of the day, Dan Mullen is gonna be able to create plays for his quarterback and for some of their weapons, and I think they'll be able to score some points. So I like UN L V in this game. At home, especially. I think that's another thing. You gotta win at home. It it's arguably one of your biggest games of the year, so you can't lose season opener at home, especially against a new head coach. Davis: Yep. All right. Well I guess we agree on three of those picks, so hopefully those do well. Jackson: Yeah, going back I'll read through real quick. We're aligned on Virginia minus four, Hawaii plus four and a half, and UNLV minus four and a half and we are in a disagreement on the UN C T C U game. I have T C U minus nine and a half and Davis has UN C plus the nine and a half. So Davis: Yeah. Jackson: We'll see, we'll see. Davis: All right. Jackson: All right, let's move on. You wanna explain this one? Davis: Yeah, so I figure this would kind of be a interesting segment where every week we'll put up some of the bigger underdogs and one of us will or I guess each of us will take a pick at our call at the upset and then we'll also track it. So the easiest way to do this would just be to take whatever team has the like like Hawaii's plus one sixty. But the way that we're gonna kinda balance that is whatever the plus money is that's the points that you're gonna get if you get that pick right. So if you get a a a massive upset, if you take, you know, New Mexico State over Florida State, then you'd get two thousand points for for that week. So it does incentivize kind of sticking your neck out and making a call for for someone else or for a bigger underdog. So I guess with that being said, I know I took I know I said North Carolina plus nine and a half, but I don't think that they pulled that one out. definitely considered Hawaii, but I think for the most bang for my buck, I went Sacramento State plus New plus two ninety five over Eastern Michigan. honestly don't know a whole lot about these teams. but there's a lot of a lot of metrics out there that say that this game is probably closer than what Vegas has it as. So yeah. That's what I'm gonna go with. Plus two ninety five. wish I could provide y'all with more justification. but for a week zero pick with limited you know, options, It's the best that best y'all are gonna get. Jackson: Alright. I am going to go so I I fe I really had a hard time choosing this because I think you could go a lot of different ways. I was kinda lean in Jacksonville State. I think they're very evenly matched. I think the Jacksonville State North Dakota State game is a game where the teams are both so even, but North Dakota State's getting a lot of love from the markets just because of the situation. Which I guess is fair, but I don't know. I think that's a pretty pretty even matchup. I went with Hawaii, just because like I said, I I think Hawaii will be able to score some points. Davis: Save pick. Jackson: And I don't know if I trust Stanford's offense enough to be able to keep up keep up with them. I'm not saying they're gonna hang fifty on but I think they'll score thirty. So We'll see. We'll see if Stanford's able to keep up with them and and and match their scoring. But Stanford to me's got a lot to figure out. I know I said I think it's a must win game for them. I'd rather have the points in Hawaii 'cause if Stanford does win, I think they'll win by a field goal or less. But if I pick it a if I'm picking an upset pick, I I think I'm going with the Rainbow Warriors. Davis: I get safe pick. Jackson: All right. Davis: well that'll do it for the Jackson: Playoff in week zero stuff. Davis: I guess I thought you ended the stream. Jackson: no, we're still going. I forgot to pick a player for the game. Davis: I forgot to pick a player too. Jackson: We're just punting the game. Davis: I multiple people have told me that they r they like that game. Jackson: I like it too. Davis: I I feel like we got to it. It's a staple. Jackson: Alright. Davis: Let's do group of five players. I mean it's gotta obviously be like someone huge. Jackson: Okay. Alright. We'll d let's do the game real quick. Group of five player. Davis: You ready? All right, hint number one. I was not considered a major recruit coming out of high school, but I was a four year starting quarterback in college. Jackson: Another one that I don't want to guess my own. Davis: God, did we do the same one again? Jackson: No, no, I I don't it it could be multiple guys. I just I'm trying to think like group of five. was not a highly coded like highly recruited. Davis: Yeah. Jackson: But started for four years. Davis: Yeah. Tip. Well you shouldn't have said you shouldn't have said I don't wanna guess my guy. Isn't that a ruin? Jackson: What it I don't think it's my guy, but like I don't even know if my guy started all four years. I really don't. Carson Wentz? Davis: No. Not Carson Wentz. All right. You ready? I finished Jackson: Okay. Yep. Davis: in the top ten of Heisman voting three straight seasons. Jackson: Did you tell me would you tell me the position yet or no? Davis: No, I didn't tell you the position. yeah, I did. Four year starting quarterback. Jackson: I'm like blanking on group of I I can only think of two group of five schools for some reason. I don't wanna guess my player. Davis: Alright, you want to move to the next thing? Jackson: Yeah. Let's move on. Davis: I I finished my college career fifty and three as a starting quarterback. Jackson: Dude, it's the same guy. I told you, I thought it was him after the first one, but I didn't want to guess him. Kellen Moore? Davis: Quit saying like I don't wanna guess my player because then you then we have to reshoot this because now I know who your player is. Jackson: we've picked the same player like How many times? Three times? I knew it was Kellen Davis: Now there's the Jackson: Moore. As soon as you said fourth-year, four-year starter, I was like, I don't know any other quarterbacks that are like household names in the FCS. Or sorry, in the group Davis: Yeah. I Jackson: of five, other than Kellen Moore. Especially because I just looked up four hints about him. Like Davis: Yeah, I told you this. Yeah. Jackson: he was the only guy I could think about. The only dude Davis: Yeah. Jackson: I was thinking about the whole time. So I can like pick you may pick another player? Davis: Yeah, yeah. Jackson: The problem the problem with me not saying it's the same player is if I guessed Kellen Moore and I give you my first hint, that is the first person you're gonna think of. Like if it's wrong, you're gonna get mine immediately. That's why I did that's why I didn't just guess him. Davis: Yeah, I guess so. Jackson: Okay, I got it. Davis: All right. Jackson: It's better not it's better not be a walk off after one hint like it was. Last week. all right, hit number one. I finished my first full season as a college starter without throwing a single interception. Taking a page out of Will's book. Davis: Trey Lance. Jackson: All right, that will do it for this podcast today. we'll be back next week, maybe earlier with some week one stuff. kind of do a little s w go along with something similar that we did today with the week zero show. But until then, thanks everyone. Davis: Well the the crazy part is that North Dakota State well I guess technically they're a group of five, yeah. But y yeah. You shouldn't you shouldn't have done a Trey Lance question for me. That was I was I was a Trey Lance truther coming out Jackson: Really? Davis: when he c yeah, that was a a big miss, big miss, but but Jackson: I didn't know that. The only team I could think of were north was N North Dakota State after Boise State. I don't know. My mind's just Davis: Yeah. Jackson: we've been talking about them all show. So I couldn't think of a UNL V guy that you would just like no no or Memphis. Maybe I could have thought of a Memphis guy, but anyways. All right. Davis: I got cut out for a second, but yeah. I think I'm the best at this game. Jackson: Yeah. You're pretty good, Davis. Pretty good. Davis: Cut just cut all that out too. Jackson: Alright. That'll do it. That'll Davis: yeah. Jackson: do it for this one. Hope you guys enjoyed it. See you next time. Davis: Yeah. So
