- 0:10Speaker 1: Spool Sports Talking so.
- 0:14Speaker 2: With Jacob Hester and terrifying terrible.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Live from the Haunted studio Hold Piers, Jacob Hester.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Y whoa godam gotam gotam, Welcome in oh TV here
- 0:50Speaker 2: on this Wednesday morning.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Jake Flynn a laundra a Tata and don't look now
- 0:57Speaker 3: it's back then mad and Tata's core is warm. Now
- 1:01Speaker 3: there are arms. I can't speak for those. I don't
- 1:03Speaker 3: know how those are going right now, don't know how
- 1:05Speaker 3: they feel. But let me tell you their core solid,
- 1:10Speaker 3: feeling good.
- 1:10Speaker 4: It's all about core temperature control. You know this, Jake,
- 1:14Speaker 4: And you know what time it is. You know what
- 1:15Speaker 4: time of the season is. It's best season. It is
- 1:19Speaker 4: best season.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Did you Taylor to text each other this morning? Just happened?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Or getting half to? I saw them walk in. I
- 1:27Speaker 2: was like, okay, we go. It's right.
- 1:29Speaker 4: We're waking up with eighty eight to eighty nine percent
- 1:32Speaker 4: of Baton rouge men this morning.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Yeah, all wearing vest Let's go.
- 1:38Speaker 4: It's a good day. It's a good day to be
- 1:39Speaker 4: an American. What are you laughing at best season. Serious,
- 1:51Speaker 4: best season is the best season, that's what they say.
- 1:54Speaker 4: I just know you were so excited. It was so exciting.
- 1:57Speaker 4: It was because you don't blow out my pocket. Yeah,
- 2:00Speaker 4: love pockets. I don't have to put guess what, I
- 2:04Speaker 4: don't have to put my phone that's heavy. I don't
- 2:06Speaker 4: have to put it in my pant pocket anymore. Okay,
- 2:09Speaker 4: we're in my vest pocket. Where's your fanny pack that
- 2:11Speaker 4: you used to wear? I keep it in my backpack.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I throw it on and off. So I got this.
- 2:16Speaker 4: I got this new phone cover. It's not new anymore.
- 2:19Speaker 4: It was new about six months ago. It keeps my
- 2:21Speaker 4: ID and my credit card right there. So somebody steals
- 2:25Speaker 4: your phone, yeah, I'm done after that. But guess what,
- 2:30Speaker 4: they can't steal my phone because it's in my best pocket.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Good luck?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Is that from an Instagram ad that got you to
- 2:37Speaker 3: get that phone case?
- 2:38Speaker 4: No, it's because I you know, I don't like putting
- 2:41Speaker 4: things like in my pant pockets. I don't like you know,
- 2:44Speaker 4: I don't like wallets, don't like keys in there. That's
- 2:46Speaker 4: why I started wearing a fanny pack. Actually, I started
- 2:49Speaker 4: wearing a fanny pack after Vest season. Because I got
- 2:52Speaker 4: rid of my pockets. Yeah, my convenient pockets that I
- 2:54Speaker 4: had right on my person, and so I got a
- 2:58Speaker 4: fanny pack and.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Got me through.
- 3:01Speaker 4: But now and a lot of it was just because
- 3:04Speaker 4: I wanted to carry my while wallet around not in
- 3:06Speaker 4: my pocket. But now I got this new iPhone cover.
- 3:11Speaker 4: All right, anyway, enough about me. How are you doing?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Strong? And quite strong? Okay, like your portfolio.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Uh hey, it's it's Wednesday today, that it is, Derek.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Guess what those were some really aggressive, really enthusiastic, really
- 3:33Speaker 4: positive vibe yeohs that we all gave today.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Yeah, guess what. We flipped the flipped the corner. We
- 3:38Speaker 2: turned it.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Well, we did, for sure. And look, my my sad
- 3:41Speaker 3: yos on Monday were for the play on.
- 3:42Speaker 4: The field, not the coaching vacancy. No, I mean it's
- 3:46Speaker 4: play on the field was poor. It's quite poor, like yourfolio.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Exactly exactly. And you know, then we started talking about tape.
- 3:57Speaker 3: We started watching tape together. It made me more angry,
- 3:59Speaker 3: more mad. But yeah, well, you know, an opportunity and
- 4:05Speaker 3: yesterday Frank Wilson, the inter head coach, you know, for
- 4:08Speaker 3: the first time I met with the media. We'll play
- 4:10Speaker 3: some of that a little bit later on, got me
- 4:13Speaker 3: feeling good, get me feeling rejuvenated. Frank is the man.
- 4:19Speaker 3: Love Frank and love that he cares. Oh, I love that.
- 4:26Speaker 3: It means a lot to him. I love that Louisiana
- 4:29Speaker 3: and LSU means a lot to him. So as a
- 4:31Speaker 3: former player, not that it matters at all, but that
- 4:33Speaker 3: means a lot to me, And I think that means
- 4:36Speaker 3: a lot to the fans.
- 4:37Speaker 4: That's a perfect person to try to steady the ship
- 4:40Speaker 4: right now too, because you got a lot of turmoil.
- 4:43Speaker 4: You have recruits you have to talk to, you, you
- 4:46Speaker 4: have current players that you have to recruit. You have
- 4:50Speaker 4: to hold the line if you will hold the rope.
- 4:53Speaker 4: And he's the perfect person to do right now. And
- 4:55Speaker 4: what he said yesterday was great. It meant a lot too,
- 4:58Speaker 4: probably a lot of us that listen to it and
- 5:00Speaker 4: heard the words that he was saying and just the
- 5:02Speaker 4: way he was doing it and the attitude that he's
- 5:03Speaker 4: bringing to it. It is not a self serving attitude.
- 5:08Speaker 4: It is a LSU serving attitude. And that was great
- 5:12Speaker 4: to hear.
- 5:13Speaker 2: It was.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Again, like I just said, like as a former player
- 5:19Speaker 4: watching that, it was like, Yep, this guy gets it
- 5:22Speaker 4: and he always has. That's why he has the respect
- 5:24Speaker 4: of current players, former players, coaching staffs. He's very well respected,
- 5:28Speaker 4: very well liked around that entire staff, around all the players,
- 5:32Speaker 4: and he's the perfect fit for the guy to come
- 5:34Speaker 4: in right now in this time of turmoil, in this
- 5:36Speaker 4: time where you have three losses, but you got a
- 5:40Speaker 4: lot of season left to play. It's easy for a
- 5:45Speaker 4: program to kind of take a step back when something
- 5:47Speaker 4: like this happens because of all the people that you
- 5:49Speaker 4: could potentially lose, all the recruits, you potentially lose the talent.
- 5:54Speaker 2: The talent leaving.
- 5:55Speaker 4: But he's the right guy at the right time to
- 5:59Speaker 4: take on this task. And it is a tall task.
- 6:01Speaker 4: It's a hard task. You gotta buy a week, you
- 6:03Speaker 4: gotta go to Alabama. It's uh, it's not easy. Doesn't
- 6:06Speaker 4: get easy from here, right, do you know what? Still
- 6:10Speaker 4: the same roster, yeah, that we had before the season. True,
- 6:15Speaker 4: Still the same roster that went into Clemson beat Florida here,
- 6:21Speaker 4: should have could have would on a couple of different games,
- 6:23Speaker 4: beat South Carolina, who just went toe to toe with Alabama.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yep, this year more than any year.
- 6:30Speaker 3: You know, it's a little unexpected I really know how
- 6:34Speaker 3: it's gonna play out, yep. And I feel much more
- 6:38Speaker 3: confident that it's going to be a four quarter situation
- 6:41Speaker 3: and not just a first half situation.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yep.
- 6:45Speaker 4: And I think I think Frank just kind of gets
- 6:47Speaker 4: it right. He gets it from all aspects. He gets
- 6:50Speaker 4: he gets in tips his cap and thinks he thinks
- 6:54Speaker 4: Brian Kelly.
- 6:55Speaker 2: But he also knows that different things have to happen
- 6:58Speaker 2: and change.
- 6:58Speaker 4: And I know he's reached out to a lot of
- 7:01Speaker 4: former players, yeah, including us, yep.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And I can tell you we're excited. He's got our support.
- 7:08Speaker 2: There's no doubt about it. Yep.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And again we'll play some of the sound that he
- 7:14Speaker 3: had from his opening press conference. And it's a great
- 7:17Speaker 3: point about it is the same roster. It is the
- 7:19Speaker 3: same Jimmies and Joe's that we were excited about before
- 7:22Speaker 3: the year, and now it's about getting the most out
- 7:25Speaker 3: of said Jimmy's and Joe's. And you've been in this
- 7:29Speaker 3: situation before, and we talked about it. I think it
- 7:31Speaker 3: was gosh, maybe on Monday, and maybe before Brian Kell
- 7:35Speaker 3: even got fired, Like when you went to Alabama and
- 7:39Speaker 3: coach I was coaching, but he had already been told
- 7:41Speaker 3: he was not going to be retained, and you know,
- 7:44Speaker 3: Deonte Jones put together a game plan that Alabama hadn't
- 7:47Speaker 3: seen before. It was like kind of like why the
- 7:49Speaker 3: hell not type situation, let's let's do something different. And
- 7:52Speaker 3: they were playing cover zero and like the entire game
- 7:56Speaker 3: and just bringing the house and they're like, why not,
- 7:58Speaker 3: let's just let's just do it right right, And like
- 8:01Speaker 3: that's the kind of situation that you find yourself in
- 8:04Speaker 3: whenever you have an interim head coach. It's like, look,
- 8:08Speaker 3: we are going to just do it our way. We're
- 8:11Speaker 3: gonna do things a little bit differently. Like maybe it's
- 8:13Speaker 3: a little unsound, but you know what, we're gonna do
- 8:15Speaker 3: it full tilt and we're gonna do some things that
- 8:18Speaker 3: are a little bit different here.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yep.
- 8:21Speaker 3: I like, I like not to preview the game. That's
- 8:24Speaker 3: not for a while, but I hope that's the mentality
- 8:27Speaker 3: like for that game. Certainly, offensively, my God takes some chances.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I was the most high school hairy.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Play scheme last week against A and M that I'd
- 8:43Speaker 3: ever seen before.
- 8:44Speaker 4: It was as an offensive two former offensive people and
- 8:48Speaker 4: fan base who likes to see good offense, and just
- 8:51Speaker 4: you know, in football, that's the great defense is awesome.
- 8:54Speaker 4: Great defense is beautiful. Great defense is tough and nasty
- 8:57Speaker 4: and mean and gritty, and you love as a fan
- 8:59Speaker 4: base to have a good defense. But let's all be honest.
- 9:03Speaker 4: The offense is the fun part. Like if you're good
- 9:06Speaker 4: on offense, Like how fun was it two years ago?
- 9:09Speaker 4: And Jaden was great? But the defense was still terrible
- 9:11Speaker 4: but it was still really fun. Yeah, really fun to
- 9:14Speaker 4: watch that team and be a part of it. So yeah, this,
- 9:17Speaker 4: this offense this year has not made watching LSU football fun.
- 9:22Speaker 2: It has not made any game fun. The defense had.
- 9:25Speaker 4: Some sparks where it was like, yeah, we got something
- 9:27Speaker 4: to hang our hat on, certainly, and I can't blame
- 9:31Speaker 4: it on the player. Sure, there's been issues on the line.
- 9:33Speaker 4: You know, Garrett hadn't played up to his standard, But
- 9:37Speaker 4: I mean, goodness, gracious, I don't know if they've really
- 9:41Speaker 4: been given a.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Chance up to this point.
- 9:43Speaker 4: So yeah, why not taking uh, take a little bit
- 9:46Speaker 4: of a risk and change some things up and do
- 9:48Speaker 4: some things different. Nothing got nothing to lose at this point, right,
- 9:53Speaker 4: And I guess you do have something to lose. I'll
- 9:55Speaker 4: take that back. Well, not a great statement. What do
- 9:57Speaker 4: you mean you can't go out there and look bad. No,
- 10:00Speaker 4: but but you can't get much worse.
- 10:02Speaker 3: But you're right about like having nothing to lose, Like
- 10:05Speaker 3: right now your main goals probably out of reach.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I mean a million things would have to happen. But
- 10:16Speaker 2: so I was talking about fake punt.
- 10:17Speaker 4: We're gonna get a fake punt? What do you think
- 10:20Speaker 4: we're gonna get some sort of trickery.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I hope, like I hope it's all up, Like I
- 10:25Speaker 3: hope every bit of it is.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Uh.
- 10:27Speaker 3: But I was talking with Jimbo yesterday. My first thing
- 10:33Speaker 3: he asked, and he's like, hey, you know you can
- 10:37Speaker 3: use all fifty three yards, right.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Like I was like, yeah, I do. I don't.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I don't know if everybody knew that, but and that's
- 10:46Speaker 3: how wide a football field is. In case anybody's wondering, what, Yeah,
- 10:50Speaker 3: you can use all fifty three Yeah you can.
- 10:53Speaker 4: The problem is I would I would, I would rebut
- 10:55Speaker 4: Jimbo on that and say the problem is is we're
- 10:57Speaker 4: using the the first one in the fifty third one
- 11:00Speaker 4: a little bit too much.
- 11:01Speaker 2: We're using the sideline yards a little too much. Let's
- 11:04Speaker 2: stick it. Let's stick with it, like the enter twenty.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And there's so many plays that we could show you
- 11:15Speaker 2: on here that.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Don't even have an option in that portion of the
- 11:22Speaker 3: field that we're talking about between the hashes. And again,
- 11:25Speaker 3: and y'all know this, but the hashes are so wide
- 11:28Speaker 3: in college football it's it's.
- 11:30Speaker 2: Hard hard to avoid. It's hard to avoid the middle
- 11:33Speaker 2: of the field.
- 11:34Speaker 4: I yeah, that was a shocking thing. We've been looking
- 11:38Speaker 4: at the passing r the last two weeks, so losses
- 11:42Speaker 4: against Vanderbilt, and of course it's about pass loss against
- 11:45Speaker 4: A and M. There is one pass in each game
- 11:48Speaker 4: that was completed over the middle of the field. So
- 11:50Speaker 4: in between the hashes, like clearly in between the hashes
- 11:53Speaker 4: that went five yards in the air pass the line
- 11:56Speaker 4: of scrimmage, So a lot of there's a lot of checkdowns,
- 11:58Speaker 4: and there's been two passes total, one in each game.
- 12:02Speaker 4: And that is like it's very hard to do in
- 12:05Speaker 4: a drop back passing offense. So that tells you that
- 12:10Speaker 4: your schemes are are too outwardly focused. So all of
- 12:13Speaker 4: your passing games are towards the sideline. So all your
- 12:17Speaker 4: first second reads. I'm dropping back into three boy one
- 12:19Speaker 4: and my first reads my number one outside. My second
- 12:22Speaker 4: reads is an alert to the second receiver. Then my
- 12:26Speaker 4: you know, my third read is a stick route to
- 12:28Speaker 4: the to the number three receiver or the tied end,
- 12:32Speaker 4: and there's nothing attack in the middle of the field.
- 12:35Speaker 4: And it was just shocking how many times will drop
- 12:37Speaker 4: back and see that, and then a lot of other
- 12:38Speaker 4: a lot of our other downfield passes are you know,
- 12:42Speaker 4: basically scripted, drawn up plays, trickery where wide receivers are blocking,
- 12:46Speaker 4: or it's a screen pass or an RPO or something
- 12:48Speaker 4: like that where there's no option to attack the middle
- 12:50Speaker 4: of the field. I've just never seen a dropback offense
- 12:52Speaker 4: and a capable with capable personnel that doesn't run normal
- 13:00Speaker 4: dropbacks with shallow crosses and dig routes and multiple people
- 13:05Speaker 4: attacking different windows of the middle of the field. Like
- 13:07Speaker 4: you go to any high school and watch a seven
- 13:10Speaker 4: on seven tournament. They're throwing seams, they're throwing digs, they're
- 13:14Speaker 4: throwing daggers, they're throwing knives, they're throwing.
- 13:16Speaker 2: All sorts of things over the middle.
- 13:18Speaker 4: It's not just I'm gonna sit here and throw a
- 13:20Speaker 4: fifty fifty ball down the sideline. I'm gonna throw what
- 13:22Speaker 4: turns into a fifty to fifty comeback to the wide
- 13:25Speaker 4: side of the field. Certainly a fifty to fifty hitch
- 13:28Speaker 4: route to the wide side of the field. How many
- 13:29Speaker 4: times we do that? Only we completed some last week,
- 13:31Speaker 4: thank god. Easily could have been six the other way. Yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 4: you're throwing. You're throwing a hitch to the white side
- 13:39Speaker 4: the field with a corner that's sitting on his heels. Anyway,
- 13:48Speaker 4: can't get upset with a vest on this morning.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Let's see from PF Tiger seven, did you know what
- 13:59Speaker 3: we're is not responsible for Jimbo's buy out at A
- 14:02Speaker 3: and M. The new athletic director gave him a huge extension.
- 14:05Speaker 3: That's what did it. It was kind of built on
- 14:08Speaker 3: it a little bit. But it's funny you mentioned that.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Jimbo said that to me yesterday, literally like so, y'all
- 14:15Speaker 3: know he's my co host on Tuesdays on Series x M,
- 14:19Speaker 3: and he's like, hey, why they keep tagging my buyout
- 14:22Speaker 3: was with Scott.
- 14:23Speaker 2: It's like Ross signed that one.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I was like, well, yeah, I guess you know he did,
- 14:30Speaker 3: but I guess you know it's built off of I
- 14:31Speaker 3: guess the original contract. He's like yeah, yeah, no, no,
- 14:33Speaker 3: but the by like Ross signed that one, Russ Rourke's
- 14:36Speaker 3: now the ad at Ohio State.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Hmm yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 4: I think like that was that was kind of like
- 14:44Speaker 4: the easy target, right, He's easy target saying well, you
- 14:47Speaker 4: know Scott did Jimbo's, he did Brian's, So I mean
- 14:51Speaker 4: that's the question too. So with with this in this
- 14:53Speaker 4: kind of vacancy, that's this boy that's being left and
- 14:56Speaker 4: you know Frank's filling that right now, and uh, you know,
- 14:59Speaker 4: once the coach and search keeps going on and on,
- 15:02Speaker 4: that's kind of the thing who's going to be making
- 15:04Speaker 4: the decision. And I think that was an easy target
- 15:07Speaker 4: of saying well, Scott's made two bad ones with that
- 15:10Speaker 4: buyout deals, which you know, if you want to if
- 15:14Speaker 4: you want to try to get the best, I mean,
- 15:16Speaker 4: you do have to pay off in the world.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Unfortunately, I do think eventually like that all of that
- 15:22Speaker 3: will will calm down and you won't see ten year
- 15:25Speaker 3: contracts anymore.
- 15:26Speaker 2: At least you would think so.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And I know it's so hard after it's already been
- 15:31Speaker 3: done for so long, but you just have somebody likes
- 15:34Speaker 3: the group.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Yeah, they're not going to not going to do it.
- 15:37Speaker 4: But like you look at the model of professional football
- 15:40Speaker 4: obviously the NFL, you looked at the CBA, the collective
- 15:44Speaker 4: bargaining agreement doesn't have anything to do with the coaches
- 15:47Speaker 4: salaries and how that is all structured, I don't think
- 15:50Speaker 4: at least. So why like, if at one point in
- 15:54Speaker 4: the in college football, if a collective bargaining agreement was
- 15:58Speaker 4: ever made for college football, which it probably would have
- 16:01Speaker 4: to be at some point, I don't think it would
- 16:04Speaker 4: include coaches salaries. I don't think coach is be part
- 16:07Speaker 4: of that bargaining agreement, right, it would be separate. Yeah,
- 16:11Speaker 4: so something something would happen. So it have to be
- 16:13Speaker 4: a collective of universities just saying, you know, you have
- 16:18Speaker 4: to get your Georgia's and your Ohio States and your
- 16:20Speaker 4: Organs and your l Sues and Texas schools and Florida
- 16:23Speaker 4: schools all together and be like we're handshake deal.
- 16:27Speaker 2: We're not doing that anymore. Yeah.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Look, look, Jimmy, we love you. You got this done.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Tip of the cap to you. But and I know, look,
- 16:37Speaker 3: I know you got all the head coaches. I know that,
- 16:39Speaker 3: but I think we all agree this is not good
- 16:42Speaker 3: for the game. Yeah, Now if that gets done, who knows,
- 16:48Speaker 3: because Jimmy is gonna be like, why would I do that?
- 16:51Speaker 3: I've got everybody or my Jimmy sexon of course, I've
- 16:53Speaker 3: got everybody.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Why would I do that? So it's gotta it's gotta boof,
- 16:58Speaker 2: it's gotta slow.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Down's got to stop these twa your contracts were wild
- 17:01Speaker 3: with these buyouts. So all right, we'll step away, We'll
- 17:04Speaker 3: take our first break of the show. We have so
- 17:06Speaker 3: much to get to today just now telling you all
- 17:11Speaker 3: this because I forgot last night. Chris low is going
- 17:13Speaker 3: to join us from on three at eight thirty, and
- 17:16Speaker 3: he's kind of, you know, obviously tied into a lot
- 17:20Speaker 3: of the coaching carousel and it was in Tiger Stadium
- 17:23Speaker 3: Saturday against Texas A and M. And he also could
- 17:26Speaker 3: feel what a lot of us felt that there was
- 17:28Speaker 3: going to be changes that were going to be made

- 19:46Speaker 5: you were up.
- 19:47Speaker 2: Baby, It's started, all right.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Welcome back in O t B There live from the
- 19:54Speaker 3: Raising Kane Studio. Do we have the video ready to go? Wilson,
- 20:01Speaker 3: LSU's interim head coach yesterday.
- 20:04Speaker 2: When he met with the media.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Spond the next time you have a game to play,
- 20:09Speaker 7: which obviously is a big game in a couple of weeks.
- 20:13Speaker 7: I think they'll respond, Well, I'll share something we did today.
- 20:20Speaker 7: I was watching quite some time ago when we got
- 20:25Speaker 7: bombed in at Pearl Harbor and the sirens went off
- 20:35Speaker 7: and that sound effect, and it was an alert, It
- 20:40Speaker 7: was a all call. It was a rally call for
- 20:44Speaker 7: us to come together. We emulated that today for our
- 20:49Speaker 7: football team, and as those sirens went off for the
- 20:52Speaker 7: rally call, our team merged together at the fifty yard line.
- 20:57Speaker 7: We held up all four of our fingers in both hands.
- 21:03Speaker 7: We chanted ford quarter, we chanted finish because we're all in.
- 21:11Speaker 7: We're all in to finish what we've started. And some
- 21:14Speaker 7: of that celebration, some of that noise, if you will,
- 21:20Speaker 7: was simply our football team answering to the rally call,
- 21:24Speaker 7: being there for one another in a tough situation when,
- 21:30Speaker 7: if you will use an analogy, we've been invaded.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Frank's a little different than you know, what was there before.
- 21:41Speaker 4: It was a little different, different tone to that press conference.
- 21:48Speaker 4: I think I said, I think that used this term
- 21:54Speaker 4: last segment. It's not about Frank when he talks, it's
- 22:01Speaker 4: not about his self, right, Everything he does, everything he
- 22:04Speaker 4: does is towards a greater good. Everything he does is
- 22:06Speaker 4: for that team. And you have to have like at
- 22:08Speaker 4: this moment, you have to have something like that exactly
- 22:11Speaker 4: like what he just said, you got to get everybody together,
- 22:14Speaker 4: because everybody in that building. There's a lot of really,
- 22:19Speaker 4: really amazing great people in that building. And I'm not
- 22:24Speaker 4: talking just about the players. I'm talking about all Let's
- 22:26Speaker 4: talk about the people that work there first. There's a
- 22:29Speaker 4: lot of great people in that building and they've been
- 22:30Speaker 4: there a long time. Some haven't been there longer than others,
- 22:33Speaker 4: of course, who don't really know like what's next for them.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 22:38Speaker 4: You look at everything from of course coaches to coordinators
- 22:41Speaker 4: to position coaches, but everybody to equipment staff, training staff,
- 22:44Speaker 4: medical staff, dietitians, nutritionists, chefs, everybody in that building a chef.
- 22:51Speaker 4: There is an uncertainty there when a head coach, when
- 22:54Speaker 4: the when the the big domino falls, like it's how
- 22:58Speaker 4: many other dominoes are going to fall. So most people
- 23:01Speaker 4: are and that's part of the job. I'm not saying like,
- 23:03Speaker 4: you know, feel sorry or anything like that. That's part
- 23:05Speaker 4: of the job. That's what you sign up for, you
- 23:07Speaker 4: when you're a coach, and when you work with a
- 23:08Speaker 4: football team, that's what you sign up for. So no
- 23:10Speaker 4: one's asking that, but there's still uncertainty that come. There's
- 23:12Speaker 4: family there's people, there's humans involved with it, and there's
- 23:15Speaker 4: a lot of people in that building that don't know
- 23:17Speaker 4: where their kids are going to be going to school
- 23:18Speaker 4: in January. Right, Yeah, so's it's a real thing. And
- 23:22Speaker 4: then with the players, of course, there's uncertain uncertainty there.
- 23:26Speaker 4: They still have to go out and perform. They still
- 23:28Speaker 4: have to go out and play a collision sport against
- 23:30Speaker 4: really good football team, against plenty of really good football teams. Yep,
- 23:35Speaker 4: they start to put tape on. They have goals, they
- 23:37Speaker 4: have aspirations to go to the next level. They have
- 23:40Speaker 4: goals and aspirations to maybe continue their career elsewhere.
- 23:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 23:45Speaker 4: Whatever the motivation is, but in a situation like this,
- 23:49Speaker 4: when things like this happen, when it's all negative, negative, negative,
- 23:52Speaker 4: you're hearing negative from the outside, you're hearing negative from
- 23:55Speaker 4: every direction, you really have to focus on the people
- 24:01Speaker 4: around you, the guy to your left, the guy to
- 24:03Speaker 4: your right, the support staff that.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Surrounds that team as well. And you got two choices
- 24:09Speaker 2: to make.
- 24:11Speaker 4: You either feel sorry for yourself you decide to kind
- 24:18Speaker 4: of quit, give up, don't give the effort because it's
- 24:21Speaker 4: easy to do. That's human nature, that would be the
- 24:24Speaker 4: normal thing to do. Yeah, the hard thing to do
- 24:28Speaker 4: is to rally together. The hard thing to do, the
- 24:31Speaker 4: unnatural thing to do. It would be to come together
- 24:36Speaker 4: as a team in the face of all this adversity,
- 24:40Speaker 4: rally behind each other, get each other's back, hold the
- 24:43Speaker 4: rope for each other, and choose to fight and fight
- 24:48Speaker 4: with everything you have. And that's exactly Frank Wilson's a
- 24:50Speaker 4: perfect person right now to get that done. And I'm
- 24:53Speaker 4: proud of him. I'm proud of everybody around there, and
- 24:55Speaker 4: I know that they're going to fight. I think they're
- 24:57Speaker 4: going to choose that option, even though that's the hard
- 24:59Speaker 4: one to do. It's not human nature to take the
- 25:03Speaker 4: hard route, but I think that's what they're gonna do.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Yeah, And it can go one of two ways, Like
- 25:08Speaker 3: it doesn't always go up, it doesn't always go down.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Like you've got to find what Matt's talking about like
- 25:13Speaker 3: inside of you and decide collectively as a team which
- 25:17Speaker 3: way you're going to go. All right, Like Penn State
- 25:21Speaker 3: right now, you know they lose three games when the
- 25:25Speaker 3: real they fire their coach, they lose their next game out,
- 25:27Speaker 3: but you know they gave some good effort. But they
- 25:29Speaker 3: lose against Iowa UCLA, they fire their coach, they turned
- 25:33Speaker 3: into a completely different squad. Like I know, they just
- 25:35Speaker 3: got beat by Indiana by fifty, but I mean, look,
- 25:38Speaker 3: they want some games they shouldn't have won. They're getting
- 25:42Speaker 3: dominated by New Mexico, and then they beat Penn State,
- 25:44Speaker 3: they beat Maryland. Right, They've got much better product out
- 25:49Speaker 3: there than they had before. And look, we can go
- 25:53Speaker 3: down the list of how that's gone for some and
- 25:55Speaker 3: how it's gone for others. So I fully expected to go.
- 26:00Speaker 3: I expect there to be a different energy. I expect
- 26:03Speaker 3: there to be a different execution, certainly on the offensive
- 26:05Speaker 3: side of the football. But before we take a break,
- 26:10Speaker 3: because when Frank was talking right there, it reminded me
- 26:13Speaker 3: of a video and it was a tough time for
- 26:19Speaker 3: LSU football. In fact, the last time that we were
- 26:21Speaker 3: kind of in a situation like this, and you know,
- 26:26Speaker 3: it wasn't great and you were in Houston, Texas getting
- 26:29Speaker 3: ready for a ball game and you were playing against
- 26:32Speaker 3: Kansas State. He wasn't gonna fel sorry for you. They shouldn't,
- 26:34Speaker 3: but we all know the situation, right. You had limited numbers,
- 26:40Speaker 3: to say the least, and you were trying to hold
- 26:42Speaker 3: on to Gary nes Meyer's red shirt, which makes sense.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Right in the bowl game, and you had John Drey,
- 26:48Speaker 3: Kirkland Chew Breese out there playing quarterbow. And I'll never
- 26:53Speaker 3: forget his postgame press conference because it embodied everything that
- 27:00Speaker 3: you should be when you're a player, a coach, anybody
- 27:05Speaker 3: involved in the LSU football program, because it's the mentality
- 27:10Speaker 3: that is the state of Louisiana. It's the mentality that
- 27:13Speaker 3: everybody that I played with, that Matt played with, whoever
- 27:17Speaker 3: like during that time had.
- 27:19Speaker 2: For the LSU football program.
- 27:21Speaker 3: And this was the quote that John Trey had after
- 27:25Speaker 3: even losing that game against Kansas State.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Shoot, we fighting tigers, man.
- 27:29Speaker 7: We ain't about to back down from nobody, no matter
- 27:31Speaker 7: if we don't have if we did, if we.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Got eleven, we go and play.
- 27:35Speaker 2: That's our mindset.
- 27:36Speaker 7: If we got eleven, we go and play.
- 27:39Speaker 2: And they barely had eleven, but they went and played,
- 27:43Speaker 2: and they fought and they lost. They fought to the
- 27:46Speaker 2: last player of the game.
- 27:48Speaker 3: John Trey threw a touchdown pass and the last player
- 27:50Speaker 3: of the game, and all it did was cut the
- 27:53Speaker 3: lead to like what twenty one something like that.
- 27:56Speaker 2: But they celebrated it. They didn't quit.
- 27:59Speaker 3: They kept fighting until the clock kid triple zero, Yep,
- 28:03Speaker 3: until the very last second.
- 28:05Speaker 4: I got a smile on my face right out, because
- 28:07Speaker 4: like if you're if you're watching on on YouTube, watching
- 28:10Speaker 4: the stream, like just seeing his face, say that makes
- 28:13Speaker 4: you smile. Man, what a good attitude. And I think
- 28:17Speaker 4: that's what the attitude that that LSU's gonna bring. He
- 28:20Speaker 4: guess what, they got more than eleven and they got
- 28:23Speaker 4: more than eleven really good ones.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Yep.
- 28:25Speaker 4: So you're lying to yourself if you think that there's
- 28:29Speaker 4: no chance they got an opportunity. There's crazier things have happened.
- 28:36Speaker 4: I know it hadn't been what we wanted up to
- 28:37Speaker 4: this point, but look, why not why not go the
- 28:40Speaker 4: rest of the season undefeated? Why not beat Alabama in Alabama?
- 28:45Speaker 4: Tell me, tell me a reason why we can't. I
- 28:48Speaker 4: know they're good. I know we haven't been good, especially
- 28:51Speaker 4: on offense. Well it's a new offensive coach. Yeah, the
- 28:56Speaker 4: guy called the plays is not there, got called the
- 28:58Speaker 4: shots in there. Yeah, so we'll see, we will see.
- 29:06Speaker 4: It is up to them, but we're gonna be cheering
- 29:08Speaker 4: our tails off. It's before eight, So I said tail
- 29:12Speaker 4: but done.
- 29:13Speaker 3: They I said, hell earlier, I'm definitely gonna get in
- 29:16Speaker 3: trouble by Memphis.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Sorry about that, Bud.
- 29:18Speaker 3: All right, we'll take a break more OTV when we

- 31:49Speaker 3: the number behind us two two five nine five three
- 31:51Speaker 3: eight one five zero. Give that a call, have a
- 31:54Speaker 3: conversation with them, talk about membership packages, all the different
- 31:58Speaker 3: things that they can help you out with.
- 32:03Speaker 2: After Saturday. You probably had to get hydrated on Sunday. Why, eh, well,
- 32:08Speaker 2: there's never a bad time at that. Yeah.
- 32:11Speaker 3: Sure, that's why you know, it's a bad time on
- 32:13Speaker 3: Saturday night. So anytime is a great time. Like Flynn said,
- 32:17Speaker 3: go flow iv dot com.
- 32:18Speaker 4: Yeah, if you ever if you have not yet ever
- 32:21Speaker 4: done like an IVY treatment, IV therapy, IVY hydration, whether
- 32:25Speaker 4: you're trying to get your you know, just kind of
- 32:27Speaker 4: get some fluids back in you, whether you're trying to
- 32:28Speaker 4: get some more vitamins in you. Like we you know,
- 32:31Speaker 4: we kind of joke around about the weather changing, but
- 32:33Speaker 4: it's serious, Like it's it's time where you start getting
- 32:35Speaker 4: a little sniffle the nose, a little low grade fever,
- 32:38Speaker 4: you start getting sick to the change of weather. It's
- 32:40Speaker 4: a perfect time to go get a membership set up
- 32:43Speaker 4: or go get an account set up. You can be
- 32:44Speaker 4: in and out thirty forty five minutes. Bran new account,
- 32:47Speaker 4: brand new IV Get some vitamins, Vitamin cam Beat twelve,
- 32:50Speaker 4: EDAM and D all that good stuff.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Stay healthy, stay hydrated, go flow IVY.
- 32:57Speaker 3: All right, So a lot of the talk over the
- 32:58Speaker 3: next couple of weeks is going to be about who
- 33:01Speaker 3: the next head coach is for the LSU Tigers.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Now, what's that timeline look like?
- 33:09Speaker 3: We don't know If it's a current coach, chances are
- 33:11Speaker 3: is probably still fighting for a playoff spot. And is
- 33:15Speaker 3: that coach going to be interested in having those conversations
- 33:18Speaker 3: during his team's run his current team's run. When are
- 33:23Speaker 3: you going to be able to name said head coach
- 33:26Speaker 3: if it's a coach in a college football playoff? Right,
- 33:29Speaker 3: and you've got to transfer a portal window.
- 33:32Speaker 2: But it provides an issue that's a big issue.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Yes, that's the problem with your people that are champion
- 33:40Speaker 4: for Lank Kiffin and Dan Lenny, who I think both
- 33:43Speaker 4: of them would be great options.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I do, But there is the procedure of that.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Isn't clear, Like you have to wait a long time,
- 33:51Speaker 4: and I don't think Lane Kiffin has been known to
- 33:53Speaker 4: leave someone at the altar.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah, right, So you could wait all that time and
- 33:57Speaker 2: all of a sudden he decides.
- 33:58Speaker 4: At the last minute he's pretty comp which he should
- 34:00Speaker 4: be comfortable where he's at. Yeah, I mean, I can't
- 34:05Speaker 4: put myself in that man choose Why would you leave?
- 34:09Speaker 4: You got all the negotiating.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Power right now to stay there.
- 34:15Speaker 4: So you know, it's one of those situations where it's
- 34:17Speaker 4: a it's a dangerous road to take that risk unless
- 34:20Speaker 4: you got some deep assurances, which I'm sure the people
- 34:23Speaker 4: that will be making that decision.
- 34:25Speaker 3: Will know then have. Even then, yeah, you still don't know.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Still not in absolute still not a guarantee. So like
- 34:32Speaker 3: that's that's another part of it. It's another layer to
- 34:35Speaker 3: what we're talking about. You go after one of these
- 34:39Speaker 3: playoff coaches, which I get because that's where you want
- 34:41Speaker 3: to go. The timing of it's tough. I mean, signing day,
- 34:46Speaker 3: high school signing day is going to pass you up.
- 34:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, so if you're wanting one of those guys,
- 34:51Speaker 4: you better hope they lose three games here pretty soon.
- 34:55Speaker 4: If you all want them, cheer against them right now.
- 34:57Speaker 4: Then you'd be like, well, he's a terrible coach, lost
- 34:59Speaker 4: three games.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I'm like, and I feel like you want to say
- 35:05Speaker 2: something here.
- 35:05Speaker 3: I'm not sure where. I'm not sure what you do.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I'm not sure where you go. I'm not sure you
- 35:09Speaker 3: know all of that? How much of that goes into it?
- 35:12Speaker 3: Like you're just gonna have to take a hit maybe
- 35:15Speaker 3: in a portal window.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It depends on one.
- 35:18Speaker 6: You know, if they want the coach before early signing
- 35:20Speaker 6: day December third, So if you want to coach, you
- 35:23Speaker 6: got three weeks to name one pretty much if you
- 35:25Speaker 6: want it before early signing period.
- 35:27Speaker 4: If not, is that like a guy? That's of course.
- 35:30Speaker 4: I don't follow recruiting. I think recruiting, you know, chasing
- 35:34Speaker 4: and following and knowing what high school kids and fifteen
- 35:37Speaker 4: sixteen seventy year olds are doing with their life is
- 35:39Speaker 4: like a strange thing. But I haven't done radio before
- 35:43Speaker 4: during recruiting times, so I gotta follow it. Is that
- 35:46Speaker 4: is December third a normal?
- 35:48Speaker 2: Like? Yeah?
- 35:49Speaker 4: For whatever reason, if you got into my head, if
- 35:51Speaker 4: you made me like guess, I would have said, it's
- 35:54Speaker 4: like just before Christmas.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Now they started doing it like December third, like early December.
- 35:58Speaker 6: So it's the third to the it's Wednesday till Friday.
- 36:02Speaker 2: It's high school.
- 36:03Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, if you don't sign, then you wait till
- 36:05Speaker 6: the original like February, sound of day. But honestly, Matt,
- 36:08Speaker 6: eighty percent of your class now signs.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, oh yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 3: And then the new transfer portal window, if I'm not mistaken,
- 36:14Speaker 3: is fifteen days after New Year's right, January second through
- 36:18Speaker 3: the sixteenth. That's the new only time portal window. So
- 36:23Speaker 3: it's a little bit later than the December one.
- 36:25Speaker 4: The third one feels really early for me, for especially
- 36:29Speaker 4: for teams that are having to hire a new coach. Yes,
- 36:32Speaker 4: I mean I would say that coaches aren't usually hired
- 36:35Speaker 4: by that point.
- 36:39Speaker 2: I guess on the heels of right, on the heels
- 36:43Speaker 2: of the season being over.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Usually coaches, like organizations and teams that have to hire
- 36:50Speaker 4: somebody else, is not hired by December third, right.
- 36:53Speaker 6: And and that's the thing, like does LSU love one
- 36:55Speaker 6: candidate enough that's in the playoff that you are going
- 36:57Speaker 6: to wait or do they not?
- 37:00Speaker 2: There's there they aren't not publicly, but like privately, there's
- 37:05Speaker 2: got to be a company.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Yeah, there's some contracts got to be basically signed. Look,
- 37:08Speaker 3: there's some positions that need to know. They gotta know
- 37:12Speaker 3: there's something that I don't think it matters as much,
- 37:14Speaker 3: but there's some positions that need to know, like who
- 37:17Speaker 3: their coach is going to be. Now, they always tell
- 37:19Speaker 3: you recruiting, don't commit or sign with a coach, sign
- 37:22Speaker 3: with the school, and that makes sense for most people.
- 37:27Speaker 3: But you know, if you're playing a certain position, if
- 37:29Speaker 3: you're if you're a Haines King style quarterback and the
- 37:33Speaker 3: guy that comes in as an air raid guy, that
- 37:35Speaker 3: doesn't make sense for the Texas Hainsaw massacre.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I love that guy. I love that I love that
- 37:43Speaker 2: big Yeah. So if you if you decide to wait
- 37:48Speaker 2: and you decide to go after a big.
- 37:50Speaker 4: Fish that's going to go to the playoffs, like you
- 37:52Speaker 4: have to do something for recruits, say you know, and
- 37:55Speaker 4: we know not everybody on that staff is going to
- 37:57Speaker 4: be there right now. I'm running that bill going to
- 38:00Speaker 4: be there. And we hope that there's some defensive code.
- 38:02Speaker 4: We hope that there's some people that are retained because
- 38:04Speaker 4: we like them and we think they're good coaches. But
- 38:06Speaker 4: that's the prerogative of the new head coach. But with
- 38:11Speaker 4: Frank Wilson, becoming the interim right now and what he
- 38:14Speaker 4: means and he's going to.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Be, don't get it twisted. Like.
- 38:17Speaker 4: He's been a great recruiter for a long time. He's
- 38:19Speaker 4: been the reason that a lot of men and a
- 38:21Speaker 4: lot of young men have decided to wear.
- 38:25Speaker 2: Purple and gold like. He's been a really big catalyst
- 38:28Speaker 2: in that. And he's going to be.
- 38:31Speaker 4: The biggest reason why people decide to stick here with
- 38:36Speaker 4: LSU right to stay here and stay here and play,
- 38:39Speaker 4: and or to sign here from other colleges sign here
- 38:41Speaker 4: out of high school.
- 38:42Speaker 2: He's going to be the big reason.
- 38:43Speaker 4: So if you decide to wait, you better have a
- 38:48Speaker 4: from the top, the people, the decision makers that are
- 38:50Speaker 4: going to be making this decision, you better say, well,
- 38:54Speaker 4: you can count fight. Frank's the reason why we're still recruiting.
- 38:58Speaker 4: We don't have a head coach yet, we don't know
- 38:59Speaker 4: what the few is going to be. But Frank's not
- 39:01Speaker 4: going anywhere. Yeah, Frank's going to be here in some
- 39:04Speaker 4: form or fashion. So like this guy that is convincing
- 39:07Speaker 4: you to stay, convincing you to go, he's not going anywhere.
- 39:10Speaker 2: No matter who the head coach is. We're making sure
- 39:12Speaker 2: that he keeps.
- 39:13Speaker 4: Him so because, like we were talking about in the
- 39:17Speaker 4: past two segments, he's a perfect guy right now to
- 39:19Speaker 4: get it to set the standard again, to set that Louisiana,
- 39:23Speaker 4: that culture, that LSU the three letters on your chest,
- 39:27Speaker 4: on your helmet, and that is going to be the
- 39:30Speaker 4: reason why we can hopefully hold the rope right here.
- 39:34Speaker 4: Stay afloat with these recruits, stay afloat with the current players,
- 39:37Speaker 4: make sure there's not that mass exodus, and he's going
- 39:39Speaker 4: to be the reason why.
- 39:43Speaker 3: Real quick, before we take a break, mister Big is
- 39:46Speaker 3: pointing out that Brian Kelly got hired on November the thirtieth,
- 39:49Speaker 3: and when Coacho got hired it was late November as well.
- 39:52Speaker 3: But I will say the difference is that was a
- 39:54Speaker 3: four team playoff. This is a twelve team playoff. More
- 39:56Speaker 3: teams are going to be in the twelve team playoff.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Hunt then they were going to be in the four
- 40:01Speaker 3: team playoff and the fourteen playoff. You kind of knew
- 40:04Speaker 3: although Notre Dame still had an outside shot, it was
- 40:07Speaker 3: going to take a couple of things. And so that's
- 40:09Speaker 3: why you see a November signing like where some of
- 40:13Speaker 3: the other candidates that you were talking to whoever the
- 40:17Speaker 3: link iffn Clark, Lee, Dan Lanning, Jeff bro whoever brinky.
- 40:21Speaker 2: They could be in the twelve team playoff and.
- 40:24Speaker 4: We would think that LSU is gonna go big game
- 40:26Speaker 4: hunting here right, Like it's maybe they're picking a coach
- 40:29Speaker 4: that their season.
- 40:30Speaker 3: Just like, don't hear that anythink name no by actual
- 40:33Speaker 3: like what they've done recently in this New Land.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Even if it's a smaller school.
- 40:38Speaker 4: Yeah, they're still conference championships or whatever it is. A
- 40:43Speaker 4: coach oe was here already Notre Dame. I don't evenmember
- 40:47Speaker 4: what they were doing that year.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I mean they were on the outside looking into a
- 40:50Speaker 3: fourteen playoff. But again, it's going to take some things
- 40:54Speaker 3: to happen in front of them, and thinking about like
- 40:56Speaker 3: six maybe that year so.
- 40:58Speaker 4: That they could it'd be great. I mean, if they
- 41:00Speaker 4: can get it figured out to where that happens, awesome.
- 41:03Speaker 4: I just think the likelihood of that happening is pretty low.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Just I was just a little shocked here that December
- 41:08Speaker 4: third is the first signing period that it wasn't like
- 41:10Speaker 4: mid December.
- 41:11Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, we'll take another break wrap up out

- 43:28Speaker 2: All right, we're gonna go around the room.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Give me one name that you do not want as
- 43:33Speaker 3: the LSU head football coach, Beth Liam James Franklin. Yes,
- 43:40Speaker 3: I was actually gonna kind of make a joke about
- 43:42Speaker 3: it and say, Dennis Allen, but that's a great answer in.
- 43:44Speaker 2: This Allen him either James Franklin, Alandra Lane Kiffin, all right, Taytay.
- 43:53Speaker 6: Love the guy whose name gets brought up a lot, unfortunately,
- 43:56Speaker 6: Kelvin Sheppard.
- 43:56Speaker 2: I don't think he's ready to be a head coach
- 43:58Speaker 2: in college. He'd be awesome, he'd bring in though he would.
- 44:01Speaker 2: I just that's just a risky war daddy.
- 44:04Speaker 4: He cranked the diesel if you think about it, though,
- 44:07Speaker 4: I don't know what risky means or what risky is.
- 44:11Speaker 2: People around you that are good, I would say Joe Brady,
- 44:15Speaker 2: and I love Joe. I think Joe's exactly where Joe
- 44:18Speaker 2: needs to be, though m h, I think he enjoys
- 44:22Speaker 2: that more. Ye, I think he's.
- 44:24Speaker 3: An NFL coach, And there's a difference. There's a difference
- 44:28Speaker 3: not to say that I don't think he would do well.
- 44:29Speaker 2: I just I don't think right now, for him or
- 44:33Speaker 2: for LSU, that would be the best move.
- 44:35Speaker 4: And we were having an interesting discussion at the break
- 44:39Speaker 4: here said lude Temper and loud Temper. In so long,
- 44:45Speaker 4: we'd have an interesting discussion here at the break about
- 44:48Speaker 4: Lane Kiffen and about you know, there's some question marks
- 44:52Speaker 4: there for us if I he's probably the guy trusts
- 44:56Speaker 4: the least about like waiting and waiting and waiting till
- 44:59Speaker 4: the to the ninth hour to him to make a
- 45:01Speaker 4: decision because he's like proven that he can pull this
- 45:05Speaker 4: rug out from underneath you. And then just like he
- 45:07Speaker 4: is a great coach, he's created a great culture there
- 45:10Speaker 4: and he's a great play caller.
- 45:11Speaker 2: But he does make decisions every now and then that like.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Get you like with your head tilted a little bit
- 45:16Speaker 4: always by this past game he went forward on his
- 45:19Speaker 4: own twenty five on fourth down, missed.
- 45:21Speaker 2: It was a great decision.
- 45:24Speaker 4: Taylor brought up that he took out a starting quarterback
- 45:26Speaker 4: in the red zone near the goal line twice during
- 45:28Speaker 4: the game.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Didn't work out here, y'all.
- 45:30Speaker 4: But you're also forgetting one key factor. They won the game, true,
- 45:35Speaker 4: but they lose. They lost the LSU last year. They
- 45:37Speaker 4: shouldn't know. They lose one to two games every year
- 45:39Speaker 4: that they are not supposed to.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Haven't this year.
- 45:43Speaker 1: Off the bench
