- 1:16Speaker 1: And addiction, as far as finding your way back to
- 1:20Speaker 1: the new version of yourself by researching, by facing your
- 1:25Speaker 1: greatest fears, overcoming adversity, breaking the chains all the things
- 1:31Speaker 1: that are holding you back from your greatness. But not
- 1:34Speaker 1: only that, when you become the new version of yourself
- 1:40Speaker 1: and you heal from all these illnesses and diseases that

- 1:48Speaker 1: go back to what's what was. You got to be
- 1:50Speaker 1: able to deal with these negative situations had on without
- 1:56Speaker 1: feeling like that you're gonna con gonna go backwards. So
- 2:02Speaker 1: for example, you work hard to lose weight, you work
- 2:06Speaker 1: hard to be the best bursion of yourself, and then
- 2:09Speaker 1: turn around and now you have been pulled right back
- 2:16Speaker 1: you gain the weight. Now you have I can answer again,
- 2:21Speaker 1: now you're going through another divorced skin, having another child
- 2:25Speaker 1: out of wedlock. So we go through all of this
- 2:29Speaker 1: stuff to build ourselves back up from hitting rock bottom
- 2:32Speaker 1: just to go back to rock bottom. Can't can continue
- 2:35Speaker 1: to doing that. So our credit is podcast for the
- 2:38Speaker 1: purpose of teaching people how to do your best to
- 2:42Speaker 1: prevent these things from happening, and how you can prevent
- 2:46Speaker 1: the things that can be preventable from happening, and the
- 2:50Speaker 1: things that are that you can't really do anything about,
- 2:54Speaker 1: you can try your best to do things to prevent
- 2:58Speaker 1: them to the best of your ability. So today's topic
- 3:03Speaker 1: is don't let your heart be troubled by things you
- 3:06Speaker 1: cannot control. But I'm also going to add something to that. Now.
- 3:13Speaker 1: The one thing I ought my scripture that was the
- 3:16Speaker 1: scripture for yesterday, the scripture for today. It was that
- 3:25Speaker 1: was it. It was Psalms twenty seven fourteen Wait for
- 3:30Speaker 1: the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for
- 3:34Speaker 1: the Lord. Now, the one thing I learned about this
- 3:38Speaker 1: particular scripture is that they both go hand in hand.
- 3:46Speaker 1: You can't let your heart be troubled by the things
- 3:50Speaker 1: you cannot control. The question is what can't we control?
- 3:56Speaker 1: What can't we, you know, do anything about. That's the
- 4:02Speaker 1: question determining what we can and cannot do anything about.
- 4:07Speaker 1: So I decided to play this particular video of what
- 4:17Speaker 1: that means as far as Psalms twenty seven fourteen, and
- 4:20Speaker 1: then we'll go back to this one when it comes
- 4:24Speaker 1: to what does it mean? So let's start with there.
- 4:29Speaker 1: What are you waiting for?
- 4:31Speaker 3: Are you waiting for a spouse, someone to share your
- 4:34Speaker 3: life with, waiting for healing, for your body or relationship
- 4:38Speaker 3: to be restored. Maybe you're waiting for that job to
- 4:40Speaker 3: call you, or a financial breakthrough, or waiting for a
- 4:44Speaker 3: difficult season to finally No matter what you're waiting waiting for.
- 4:52Speaker 3: The truth is waiting can be hard of time. But
- 4:56Speaker 3: David writes in Psalm twenty seven fourteen are versus the day,
- 5:00Speaker 3: and he tells us how we should wait.
- 5:03Speaker 1: He says, wait for the Lord. Be strong and let
- 5:06Speaker 1: your heart take courage.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Wait for the Lord David was writing this while he's
- 5:11Speaker 3: in an uncomfortable place. I mean, if you read Psalm
- 5:13Speaker 3: twenty seven, it's full of ups and downs. He is
- 5:16Speaker 3: talking about enemies, false witnesses, days of trouble, anger, rejection,
- 5:21Speaker 3: And yet David tells himself and us.
- 5:24Speaker 1: To wait, to hold on to anchor our hope in
- 5:28Speaker 1: God's goodness.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Why do you think David says wait for the Lord
- 5:31Speaker 3: two times? Often in the Bible, when we see a
- 5:34Speaker 3: word or a phrase said two or three times at
- 5:37Speaker 3: a wrong well, it's to get our attention because what's
- 5:40Speaker 3: being said is very important.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And I believe that.
- 5:43Speaker 3: David is saying I really mean this, and I want
- 5:46Speaker 3: you to miss it. It's a way of confirming its
- 5:49Speaker 3: certainty that what I'm telling you really works. One way
- 5:53Speaker 3: that we can find strength during our waiting season and
- 5:55Speaker 3: to let our heart take courage is we can stay
- 5:58Speaker 3: rooted in scripture God's word. It keeps us centered. It
- 6:02Speaker 3: reminds us of his promises and his faithfulness. So no
- 6:06Speaker 3: matter how tired you could come from hoping, God is
- 6:13Speaker 3: still good and he is worth the wait, and the
- 6:17Speaker 3: Bible assures us that the Lord is good to those
- 6:21Speaker 3: who wait for him.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So what I all peoplen't understand is when it come
- 6:28Speaker 1: down to letting your heart be troubled by things wrong,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but yeah, sorry about it. You can't control people. You
- 6:45Speaker 1: can't make somebody love you that don't. You can't make
- 6:47Speaker 1: somebody hire it is it going to do so? You
- 6:50Speaker 1: can't make your parents make amends with the things they've
- 6:53Speaker 1: done wrong. You can't change how your family has treated you,
- 6:58Speaker 1: how your friends have cheated you. You can't control other
- 7:02Speaker 1: people's actions, behavior, choice and decisions. You can't continue to
- 7:08Speaker 1: lowing on everybody else's problems and everybody else's financial situation,
- 7:15Speaker 1: questions like it's your responsibility, like you're the person that
- 7:19Speaker 1: did it. You can't keep putting stuff in your name
- 7:23Speaker 1: that you shouldn't put in your name in the first place.
- 7:28Speaker 1: So I want people to understand that when it comes
- 7:33Speaker 1: to the things that you can.
- 7:35Speaker 4: Control, that means you, your actions, your behavior, your choices
- 7:43Speaker 4: and decisions, how you go about your critical thinking, common
- 7:48Speaker 4: sense and common judgment, how you react to it, how
- 7:51Speaker 4: you behave to it.
- 7:54Speaker 1: You only can control you, but you can't control somebody else.
- 7:59Speaker 1: All you can do is what you're supposed to do,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and everybody else can only do what they choose to do.
- 8:08Speaker 1: But trying to control other people, trying to make them
- 8:12Speaker 1: do what you want them to do, it's not gonna
- 8:15Speaker 1: work at all. It just doesn't. So even though you
- 8:19Speaker 1: want people to do things the way you want them
- 8:22Speaker 1: to do, even though you want them to love you,
- 8:25Speaker 1: it doesn't mean that that's what they're unfortunately going to do,
- 8:29Speaker 1: because they're not. So even though you want them to
- 8:34Speaker 1: do certain things that you want them to do, it
- 8:41Speaker 1: doesn't mean that they're going to do it. Just because
- 8:45Speaker 1: you want somebody to h are you doesn't mean that
- 8:51Speaker 1: they're going to. So before I.
- 8:52Speaker 5: Get to.
- 8:54Speaker 1: This particular I was looking at before all of this.
- 9:01Speaker 1: So I just want people to understand that I get it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: You know, when it comes to waiting and sitting still
- 9:11Speaker 1: and waiting to see how things are gonna turn out,
- 9:15Speaker 1: sitting still, being patient, it's hard. I'm not gonna lie
- 9:18Speaker 1: to you. I'm not gonna say that it's easy to
- 9:21Speaker 1: sit still kill but sometimes you need to sit still.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Sometimes you need to just pick up the Bible and
- 9:31Speaker 1: read and see what it may say about the fact
- 9:36Speaker 1: of waiting. It says that waiting can be hard. Most
- 9:44Speaker 1: of us can prefer quick, efficient, and when possible, instant results.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But waiting is a part of life. We must wait
- 9:57Speaker 1: for this seeds to grow into food, for one season
- 10:06Speaker 1: to intandult.
- 10:09Speaker 3: Like it or not.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Waiting takes patient. We can wait days, years, and even
- 10:20Speaker 1: decades for a prayer to be answered, for an overdue apology,
- 10:25Speaker 1: jee for the timing to be right, for the dreams
- 10:40Speaker 1: to finally come to pass, it to be king, and
- 10:45Speaker 1: to wait to be rescued. From his Jimmy, he wrote, wait, pace,
- 10:54Speaker 1: lean for the Lord, Be brave and correct and courageous. Yes,
- 11:09Speaker 1: wait to pay attention. But waiting patiently for the Lord
- 11:15Speaker 1: isn't an excuse to do nothing. We can be pro
- 11:21Speaker 1: by staying in communication with him by looking for his
- 11:25Speaker 1: fingerprints in ordinary moments, by reading about his stories and
- 11:33Speaker 1: his plans in his word, by worshiping him no matter
- 11:41Speaker 1: what happens, siding out in our circles, by thanking him
- 11:47Speaker 1: for the gifts he already given us. Because a specific
- 11:54Speaker 1: door isn't a door for, or a particular opportunity isn't
- 12:08Speaker 1: very available at this moment, doesn't mean God is showing
- 12:20Speaker 1: you the truth about things that you need to know
- 12:21Speaker 1: before you walk away from it, because God wants wants
- 12:25Speaker 1: you to walk completely away from it. He doesn't want
- 12:28Speaker 1: you to walk halfway away from it. He wants you
- 12:30Speaker 1: to work all He wants you to walk all the
- 12:32Speaker 1: way away from it, so you don't have to worry
- 12:34Speaker 1: about going back to it. So once you walk away
- 12:37Speaker 1: from it, don't you to keep going back. God I want,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I want you to completely remove yourself from it. So
- 12:50Speaker 1: God is going to remove it slowly, and then just
- 12:55Speaker 1: understand that it says Noah said, spent a decade building
- 13:09Speaker 1: a art to do what he said. Ruth journey to
- 13:15Speaker 1: Journey with her mother in law and worked in the
- 13:20Speaker 1: grain fields while trusting God after her husband's death. Joseph
- 13:24Speaker 1: stayed faithful in prison for several years before he was
- 13:29Speaker 1: he is his promotion to second in command in Egypt.
- 13:33Speaker 1: John trusted God's ultimate will for his life, even writing
- 13:39Speaker 1: a book of the Bible while sentencing While being sentenced
- 13:44Speaker 1: to be exiled on the island of Pence Pammel. So,
- 13:49Speaker 1: no matter what you're facing, ask God for patience and
- 13:54Speaker 1: trust that He is in control of your future, no
- 13:58Speaker 1: matter what uncertain lives below before you. And when you
- 14:03Speaker 1: rely on the Lord, you can be someone who waits well.
- 14:08Speaker 1: So again this all leads to this topic, don't let
- 14:14Speaker 1: the trump let your heart be trouble by the things
- 14:16Speaker 1: you can't control, because you can't control everything. You can't
- 14:21Speaker 1: control what everybody does, what everybody says. You can't control
- 14:25Speaker 1: that at all. The only thing you can do is
- 14:30Speaker 1: control yourself. If somebody is trying to get you doing
- 14:34Speaker 1: something negative and something you don't feel comfortable with, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: say no, no matter what, stand on it. If you
- 14:40Speaker 1: saying no, stand on it. If that person can't accept
- 14:43Speaker 1: the fact you're saying no, then they need to accept
- 14:47Speaker 1: the fact that you're saying no. So you got to
- 14:53Speaker 1: trust God and let go of all of the fears
- 14:57Speaker 1: and insecurities and doubts that you have. Let it go,
- 15:04Speaker 1: because the only way that your heart is not gonna
- 15:09Speaker 1: be troubled by the things you can't control is to
- 15:12Speaker 1: understand that there will be things that you can't control
- 15:17Speaker 1: and the only thing you can do is try your
- 15:21Speaker 1: best to either walk away from it, either accept it
- 15:31Speaker 1: and leave it be, or continue to fight for it
- 15:34Speaker 1: and continue the same result. So when it comes to
- 15:37Speaker 1: fighting fears and trusting God, that's where this comes from
- 15:44Speaker 1: if you give all your pain and suffering and trauma
- 15:49Speaker 1: to God, and you say I'm no longer going to
- 15:54Speaker 1: dwell on it. But at the same time, I'm gonna
- 15:57Speaker 1: take everything I went through and I'm going and to
- 16:00Speaker 1: help others. I'm gonna learn from it, grow from it,
- 16:05Speaker 1: evolve from it, and elevate from it. That's what I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: gonna do. So when it comes down to this scripture,
- 16:18Speaker 1: sure it says as.
- 16:26Speaker 5: In I'm just trying to make sure I'm on the
- 16:32Speaker 5: right one. It says, the Lord is.
- 16:37Speaker 1: My life and my salvation. Whom I shall fear. The
- 16:42Speaker 1: Lord is the strength of my life. Who I shall
- 16:45Speaker 1: be afraid. When the wicked, even my enemies and my
- 16:51Speaker 1: foes came upon me to eat up my flesh, they
- 16:57Speaker 1: stumbled and fell through the host. Should he camp against me,
- 17:04Speaker 1: my heart shall not fear, though through war should rise
- 17:12Speaker 1: against me. And this will I be confident. One thing
- 17:20Speaker 1: I have, The one thing have I desired of the Lord,
- 17:27Speaker 1: that I will seek.
- 17:31Speaker 6: That I may dwell in house of the Lord all
- 17:35Speaker 6: the days of my life, and to behold the beauty
- 17:38Speaker 6: of the Lord, and inquire in his temple.
- 17:45Speaker 1: For the time of most trouble, he shall hide me
- 17:52Speaker 1: in the pavilion, in the secret of his tabernacle. He
- 18:01Speaker 1: hides me. He shall set me up on the rocks,
- 18:09Speaker 1: up upon and now, sir reads, I'm wrong, up upon
- 18:15Speaker 1: the rocks. Okay, I'm right, And now shall my head
- 18:19Speaker 1: be lifted above my enemies round about me? Therefore I
- 18:24Speaker 1: will offer his tabernacles sacrifice of joy. I will sing, ye,
- 18:30Speaker 1: I will sing praise upon the Lord. Here O, Lord,
- 18:35Speaker 1: when I cry with my voice, have mercy upon me
- 18:40Speaker 1: and answer me. When I said, seek ye my face,
- 18:45Speaker 1: my heart said, unto thee thy face, Lord, I will seek.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Hide not thy face far from me. Put not thy
- 18:58Speaker 1: servants away in anger. Thou hast been my help. Leave
- 19:04Speaker 1: me not neither forsake me, Oh God of my salvation.
- 19:10Speaker 1: When my father and my mother forsake me, then Lord
- 19:15Speaker 1: will take me up. So when it comes comes down
- 19:24Speaker 1: to these particular situations, you have your ups, you have
- 19:31Speaker 1: your downs. So when it comes down to teaching me
- 19:36Speaker 1: the way, it says, te flame path because of my enemies, deliberately,
- 19:45Speaker 1: not upon the will of my enemies. For false witness
- 19:52Speaker 1: a rising up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
- 19:59Speaker 1: I have I fainted unless I believe to see the
- 20:04Speaker 1: goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Wait on the Lord, be good Kurk, be of good courage,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and he shall strengthen thy heart. Wait, I say on
- 20:21Speaker 1: the Lord. So pretty much what that means is is
- 20:27Speaker 1: you just gotta be patient and wait. Because if you
- 20:32Speaker 1: go chasing after something that God didn't tell you to chase,
- 20:38Speaker 1: if you hang around people that God didn't tell you
- 20:41Speaker 1: to hang around with, if you let people manipulate, bamboozle,
- 20:45Speaker 1: lead you, astray, scam, con lie, and lie to you,
- 20:49Speaker 1: then that's not because God told to you followed the
- 20:54Speaker 1: wrong people that you thought cared about you and all
- 20:57Speaker 1: out and all actuality, didn't. You have people that you'll
- 21:02Speaker 1: see that make a lot of money. You don't know
- 21:05Speaker 1: how they made all this money, and yet they did
- 21:08Speaker 1: and you don't know how. And now you're in a
- 21:12Speaker 1: situation where you have these people that basically essentially are
- 21:20Speaker 1: now broke and you thought they were better. You have
- 21:24Speaker 1: people that you think, because they have all this money
- 21:27Speaker 1: that the picture is pretty. The external is pretty, doesn't
- 21:33Speaker 1: mean that everything's not a mess. So just because something
- 21:38Speaker 1: looks good doesn't mean it's good for you. So sometimes
- 21:43Speaker 1: you have to trust God's process even though you may
- 21:47Speaker 1: not understand it. But the one thing about your self
- 21:51Speaker 1: esteeming self work, and self value, that is why it's broken.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Because your heart is troubled by things that you can't control,
- 22:00Speaker 1: because somebody rejects you. Your heart is troubled because you
- 22:04Speaker 1: went through domestic violence. Your heart is trouble because you
- 22:07Speaker 1: went through pain and suffering. Your heart is troubled. So
- 22:12Speaker 1: being that your heart is troubled because everything you went through,
- 22:16Speaker 1: that's why it's gonna be hard to let it go.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It's hard to repair it because your heart is hurting
- 22:22Speaker 1: by pain that you went through. But if you sit
- 22:27Speaker 1: there and you say to yourself, okay, this happened. When
- 22:33Speaker 1: I walk away my feelings walk away with it. I'm
- 22:37Speaker 1: not going to reciprocate negativity. I'm not gonna answer negativity.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I'm not gonna worry about negativity. I'm just gonna be positive.
- 22:45Speaker 1: And that's it. It's just like this new thing that
- 22:48Speaker 1: I just tried that I didn't try before and I
- 22:53Speaker 1: had to get used to it, but it works. So
- 22:57Speaker 1: it's just like, when can we talk about this particular
- 23:03Speaker 1: thing I gotta funded again, and it says fighting fears
- 23:09Speaker 1: and trusting God. The list of things to think, worried,
- 23:14Speaker 1: debate and debate about can feel endless. Wars, viruses, finances, relationships, politics, religion,
- 23:24Speaker 1: job security, natural disasters, the safety and well being of
- 23:30Speaker 1: our loved ones. The list can go on forever. But
- 23:34Speaker 1: Jesus told his disciples, who also had plenty to fear,
- 23:39Speaker 1: death being at the top of the list, do not
- 23:44Speaker 1: let your heart be troubled. Trust in God, trust also
- 23:50Speaker 1: in me John fourteen one. This statement was very bold,
- 23:58Speaker 1: but it is even to not be shaken by life's circumstances.
- 24:04Speaker 1: God seemed to think so, because he said those words
- 24:10Speaker 1: not so long before he was nailed to a cross.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Jesus knew He's the source of true peace, the source
- 24:19Speaker 1: of real joy, the source of real freedom. Trusting God
- 24:24Speaker 1: does not ensure an easy life, but it means that
- 24:28Speaker 1: we know then he walked through life with us. So
- 24:33Speaker 1: how do we avoid getting stuck in the cycle of fear?
- 24:37Speaker 1: How practical do we keep from getting overwhelmed with anxiety?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Can we take our thoughts captive and make them obedient
- 24:51Speaker 1: to Christ? Can prioritize his wisdom? By reading, studying, and
- 25:01Speaker 1: praying scripture. Can we take our honor, thoughts and questions
- 25:08Speaker 1: to a true, trusted friend. Can we listen to music
- 25:12Speaker 1: that leads us to worship as we go about our
- 25:16Speaker 1: day without a doubt. There would be troubling situations that
- 25:20Speaker 1: come up, But because we know and trust who's in charge,
- 25:28Speaker 1: we don't have to be troubled by those events now. Also,
- 25:35Speaker 1: it says, so what is evaluating elevating your fears in
- 25:43Speaker 1: your life today? How are you willing to replace it
- 25:47Speaker 1: with practices that draw you closer to God's presence? Spend
- 25:51Speaker 1: some time today determining what steps you'll take the turn
- 25:55Speaker 1: you're trusting God more constantly. So you have to let
- 26:00Speaker 1: go of the things that are troubling you. You got
- 26:05Speaker 1: to let God do his work. If you want God
- 26:08Speaker 1: to heal you, if you want God to give you
- 26:14Speaker 1: what you're asking for, you also got to do the work.
- 26:17Speaker 1: God got to see, Okay, you're doing the work. God
- 26:20Speaker 1: got to see, okay, you're creating all these things. God
- 26:23Speaker 1: got to see your doing the work. So I had
- 26:28Speaker 1: to I had to sit down tonight and go on
- 26:32Speaker 1: as all the courses that I bought that I have
- 26:35Speaker 1: to create. I've got to do logos for all of them.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Then I just came up with a name that is
- 26:42Speaker 1: perfect for my coaching. But that's what I had to do. Now,
- 26:49Speaker 1: if I go to let's sit, let me go back.
- 26:56Speaker 1: If I go back to the prayer for today, if
- 27:02Speaker 1: it let me the prayer of the day is Psalms
- 27:07Speaker 1: twenty seven to fourteen, wait for the Lord, Be strong
- 27:11Speaker 1: and take heart and wait for the Lord. That's something
- 27:15Speaker 1: that's important. But let's go back to that other scripture
- 27:21Speaker 1: because this actual podcast I was supposed to do yesterday
- 27:27Speaker 1: and I did not do it yesterday. So I'm going
- 27:32Speaker 1: to go back and find John fourteen one. Let's see it.
- 27:38Speaker 1: Last time, I had a little bit of a hard
- 27:40Speaker 1: time trying to find it, so John fourteen ninety six.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So while I'm looking for it, I'm just gonna say this,
- 27:50Speaker 1: the journey is not easy. And I will also say
- 27:58Speaker 1: that being troubled, being upset, being angry, it's not easy.
- 28:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna sit here and lie and say there
- 28:08Speaker 1: are not times I don't be wanting to cuss people out.
- 28:11Speaker 1: There are times I just be wanting to go off
- 28:14Speaker 1: on people saying stuff, and then I have to say
- 28:16Speaker 1: to myself, it is not worth me doing that, because
- 28:20Speaker 1: if I cuss them out, I'm gonna be just as bad,
- 28:24Speaker 1: if not worse, because I'm sitting here arguing with people
- 28:29Speaker 1: that I shouldn't even be arguing with in the first place.
- 28:34Speaker 1: So it ain't worth it. It ain't worth me arguing
- 28:38Speaker 1: with people that ain't even worth my time, that's not
- 28:41Speaker 1: even worth my energy, that ain't worth.
- 28:44Speaker 5: None of that.
- 28:45Speaker 1: So I just choose not to do it because it
- 28:49Speaker 1: ain't worth it. Why am I sitting up here explaining
- 28:52Speaker 1: myself to a negative person that's gonna constantly keep doing
- 28:57Speaker 1: the negativity that they're doing. So right now, I'm on
- 29:01Speaker 1: John fourteen one two four, and it says, a house
- 29:06Speaker 1: of many mansions, let not your heart be troubled. Ye
- 29:10Speaker 1: believes in God, believe also in me. In my father's
- 29:16Speaker 1: house are many mansions. If it were not so, I
- 29:22Speaker 1: would not have told. I would have told you I go,
- 29:27Speaker 1: and I go to prepare a place for you. And
- 29:31Speaker 1: if I go to prepare a place for you, I
- 29:36Speaker 1: will come again and receive you. Unto myself. That where
- 29:43Speaker 1: I am, ye will also be also, and whither I
- 29:48Speaker 1: will know, I will go sometimes this Bible is so
- 29:52Speaker 1: hard to write, it says, and whether I go, ye know.
- 29:57Speaker 1: And the way you know. So when it comes to
- 30:03Speaker 1: the situation is if you follow God or follow Jesus.
- 30:08Speaker 1: We follow Jesus because Jesus was a human form of God.
- 30:12Speaker 1: We followed Jesus to God. At the end of the days.
- 30:18Speaker 1: If we follow Jesus, Jesus gonna lives to God. If
- 30:23Speaker 1: Jesus says, let go, didn't let go. Let me tell
- 30:32Speaker 1: your real story where I go. Twenty seventeen. I got really, really,
- 30:37Speaker 1: really sick right before i was supposed to go outown.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I'm one of my best friends, and I got really sick,
- 30:42Speaker 1: and I went to my doctor and they gave me
- 30:45Speaker 1: the wrong medication. And I, when I tell you, I
- 30:51Speaker 1: thought I was going to die. I thought I was
- 30:53Speaker 1: going to die. And I'm up here fighting taking medications,
- 30:58Speaker 1: trying to get through this. Right to the medication, Bendrill
- 31:01Speaker 1: didn't have none, and I'm like, oh my God, I'm
- 31:04Speaker 1: gonna die. I said, Lord, I'm trying to stay here.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I got my child. I got so much to live for.
- 31:11Speaker 1: God said, go to sleep, just go to sleep. I
- 31:15Speaker 1: got you. I'm sitting here watching angels and the dev
- 31:18Speaker 1: of the devil fighting and everybody fighting and all this
- 31:21Speaker 1: other stuff and demons fighting, and finally, after struggling, after fighting,
- 31:28Speaker 1: I finally just went to sleep. And guess what, I'm
- 31:31Speaker 1: still here talking to you. Every time I feel like
- 31:35Speaker 1: I'm in that place, God says, go to sleep. I
- 31:40Speaker 1: got you. God says, just lay down, I got you,
- 31:45Speaker 1: And I'm still here. So again, as long as you
- 31:51Speaker 1: are doing the work to show God that you really
- 31:53Speaker 1: are trying to get through whatever it is that you're
- 31:57Speaker 1: trying to get through, God will be there. As long
- 32:01Speaker 1: as you learning, growing, evolving while you are going through
- 32:07Speaker 1: this journey, then everything will be okay because when you
- 32:12Speaker 1: come out of it, the whole point of sitting still
- 32:16Speaker 1: and learning and growing and evolving is for you to
- 32:21Speaker 1: be able to come through this situation and being able
- 32:28Speaker 1: to go through whatever it is that you're meant to do.
- 32:35Speaker 1: So I want people to understand that these journeys are
- 32:39Speaker 1: not easy, and they are not but at the end
- 32:45Speaker 1: of the day, it is worth it to know that
- 32:51Speaker 1: you have gotten through this situation, that you have made
- 32:58Speaker 1: it through the worst of times, just like I have
- 33:03Speaker 1: some people that's gonna be coming on my podcast in
- 33:06Speaker 1: the next two weeks. One person that will be on
- 33:12Speaker 1: my podcast. Let me go back and find her name.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Let me find her. I gotta make sure I schedule ese.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Her name is Nai Crosby and this podcast is going
- 33:36Speaker 1: to be about her son being alive due to police brutality.
- 33:43Speaker 1: And this is gonna be on my aflcant Melanie Queen's podcast.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I'm also gonna let TikTok here it as well. It's
- 33:54Speaker 1: a real, real It's gonna be a real conversation because
- 34:00Speaker 1: we're talking about grief. We're talking about an innocent child
- 34:04Speaker 1: trying to stop a fight and lose his life by
- 34:08Speaker 1: the police instead of the people that we're fighting. The
- 34:14Speaker 1: sad part about it is is that they're not going
- 34:17Speaker 1: to be charged for it. Her story is very powerful.
- 34:22Speaker 1: Her story is something I really want people to hear
- 34:25Speaker 1: and I'm really looking forward to doing it. So I'm
- 34:29Speaker 1: going to be doing this podcast on the twenty fifth
- 34:36Speaker 1: at three point thirty. So I can't wait to do it.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I can't wait for you guys to hear it on
- 34:41Speaker 1: that podcast. I might put it on all my podcasts,
- 34:45Speaker 1: so y'all hear it, but I haven't decided yet, But
- 34:47Speaker 1: I really think it's going to be a very very
- 34:49Speaker 1: good podcast. I think before we do it, I'm probably
- 34:52Speaker 1: gonna do something about police brutality on one of my
- 34:55Speaker 1: podcasts and about grief as far as you know, all
- 35:00Speaker 1: these black men and dying, not only that, everything that's
- 35:03Speaker 1: going on with ISIS and everything like that, and how
- 35:05Speaker 1: that's impacting and affecting people as well as they're healing
- 35:08Speaker 1: recovery as well. So I'm really looking forward to doing
- 35:13Speaker 1: this podcast. But in conclusion to all of this, I
- 35:17Speaker 1: would say that if you continue to go down the
- 35:22Speaker 1: same roads, if you don't elevate, you don't evolve, you
- 35:25Speaker 1: don't grow, and you don't mature into a better person.
- 35:29Speaker 1: If you don't learn to look at everything you've been
- 35:33Speaker 1: through to learn from it, to grow from it, for me,
- 35:36Speaker 1: evolve from it and become the best version of yourself
- 35:40Speaker 1: from it, you will continue to go through it. If
- 35:43Speaker 1: you keep dealing with the same spirits as far as
- 35:47Speaker 1: type of people, then you're gonna still have the same issue.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Sometimes it can even be environment that can be a problem.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Sometimes it can be the environment. If you let people
- 35:57Speaker 1: break your self esteem, self work, and self value, your
- 36:00Speaker 1: self respect, and you believe in yourself and your confidence,
- 36:05Speaker 1: then it's gonna be easy for people to break you
- 36:08Speaker 1: when you keep lowering yourself trying to build people that
- 36:11Speaker 1: when you build them, they're gonna end up with somebody else.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It is never a good look when you are trying
- 36:18Speaker 1: to be the best version of yourself and you've got
- 36:22Speaker 1: people tearing you down every chance that they get. Is
- 36:26Speaker 1: never really a good look either. So what I will
- 36:30Speaker 1: say is we all have our ups and downs, we
- 36:35Speaker 1: all have our battles that we have to face, but
- 36:38Speaker 1: it's not about how we fall, it's about how we rise.
- 36:42Speaker 1: The reason why a lot of negative people have don't
- 36:47Speaker 1: never go through consequences because in karma at the moment,
- 36:51Speaker 1: is because they always have somebody that they can put
- 36:54Speaker 1: in front of them like a shield, somebody that is
- 36:57Speaker 1: going to be captain, say, with hope that's gonna be
- 37:00Speaker 1: and save them, and they're willing to step into that
- 37:04Speaker 1: front of them to take that bullet. So as long
- 37:07Speaker 1: as somebody's gonna be there every time they fall to
- 37:10Speaker 1: where they never have to stay down and somebody's gonna
- 37:13Speaker 1: help them get back on their feet, negative people will
- 37:15Speaker 1: never have to deal with their consequences, repercussion, the karma,
- 37:22Speaker 1: they will never have to deal with it, unfortunately, So
- 37:26Speaker 1: the only thing they'll do is they'll keep doing the
- 37:28Speaker 1: same thing. They'll keep hurting people over and over and
- 37:30Speaker 1: over again until no, until there is no one else
- 37:34Speaker 1: that'll help them, until they alienated so many people to
- 37:38Speaker 1: the point that nobody wants to hurt to help them,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and then they deal with their consequence and repercussions. But
- 37:43Speaker 1: when those consequences and repercussions finally hit, whoever is around them,
- 37:48Speaker 1: when they finally get what's coming to them, when it
- 37:51Speaker 1: finally catches up with them, it's gonna also go through
- 37:55Speaker 1: it as well. So you don't want to be the
- 37:58Speaker 1: person that is gonna be the person that's gonna go
- 38:01Speaker 1: down with that person. You're not trying to be the
- 38:03Speaker 1: only person that's gonna end up in a bad situation.
- 38:06Speaker 1: You do not want that, Absolutely, you don't. You don't
- 38:11Speaker 1: want to be the person that ends up falling along
- 38:14Speaker 1: with that other person. Nope, you don't want that. So again,
- 38:18Speaker 1: how you feel about yourself when you think about yourself,
- 38:21Speaker 1: should be what's important, not what everybody else thinks. And
- 38:25Speaker 1: just because you don't phy society standards does not mean
- 38:28Speaker 1: that you're not deserving, that you're not worthy. Just because
- 38:31Speaker 1: you're in society's standards. When it comes to beautiful does
- 38:34Speaker 1: not mean that you're not beautiful. At the end of
- 38:37Speaker 1: the day, there's different types of beauty. So at the
- 38:39Speaker 1: end of the day, stop letting your heart be troubled
- 38:42Speaker 1: by people and situations and things you can't control. And
- 38:48Speaker 1: what I mean by that is the things you want
- 38:51Speaker 1: that you can't have. If it was really meant for
- 38:55Speaker 1: you to have it, you would have it. You wouldn't
- 38:58Speaker 1: have to go through all these hoops and bounds to
- 39:01Speaker 1: get it. It would just be handed to you. It
- 39:04Speaker 1: would just be given to you. And that is it.
- 39:08Speaker 1: But if y'all are interested in one on one coaching,

- 39:45Speaker 1: as long as you stay in rock bottom, you will
- 39:47Speaker 1: continue to stay there. But there should be a time
- 39:50Speaker 1: where you should be so used to hitting rock bottom
- 39:53Speaker 1: you now don't even want to go down a no more.
