- 1:08Dr. Kristin Wild: I thank you so much.
- 1:10Dr. Kristin Wild: I have never heard an introduction like that one before.
- 1:14Tom Jackobs: It's it's all you.
- 1:15Tom Jackobs: So I think it fits you perfectly.
- 1:18Dr. Kristin Wild: Oh, thank you.
- 1:20Dr. Kristin Wild: I'm so glad to be here with you, Tom.
- 1:22Dr. Kristin Wild: This is awesome.
- 1:23Tom Jackobs: I'm really excited to have you on the show as well.
- 1:26Tom Jackobs: And to really take us on this journey that you've been through.
- 1:29Tom Jackobs: I think it's just absolutely fascinating.
- 1:32Tom Jackobs: Um, but first I always like to ask our guests, what's your definition of a heart led business?
- 1:38Dr. Kristin Wild: That one's super easy, profit and purpose.
- 1:41Tom Jackobs: I love it.
- 1:42Tom Jackobs: Profit perfect.
- 1:43Dr. Kristin Wild: Profit and purpose.
- 1:44Dr. Kristin Wild: Let's go.
- 1:44Dr. Kristin Wild: That's always the goal because then we end up at a win, win, win for everybody.
- 1:48Tom Jackobs: Yeah,
- 1:48Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's quite simple.
- 1:50Dr. Kristin Wild: The simpler we make things, the easier it is to accomplish.
- 1:55Tom Jackobs: So true.
- 1:56Tom Jackobs: Now I don't need to nitpick here, but why profit first and then, and then purpose or
- 2:02Dr. Kristin Wild: would suppose they go hand in hand.
- 2:04Dr. Kristin Wild: Yeah, they're interchangeable in that way.
- 2:06Dr. Kristin Wild: But the thing is, is we are running businesses.
- 2:08Dr. Kristin Wild: They have to make a profit.
- 2:10Tom Jackobs: Yeah, what this is all about is being okay with having purpose and making a profit doing it because and help other people if you don't have a business.
- 2:22Dr. Kristin Wild: Exactly.
- 2:23Tom Jackobs: Well, tell us what, what, uh, what is your business and what inspired you to start a heartland business?
- 2:29Dr. Kristin Wild: Yeah.
- 2:30Dr. Kristin Wild: So I have a couple of businesses and it's one of those things, you know, it's one thing to be a heart led person.
- 2:36Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's another thing to run a heart led purpose because it takes a lot more maneuvering, a lot more care, a lot more consideration than a typical business would, because, you know, we're coming from a paradigm where the bottom line was the most important thing.
- 2:52Dr. Kristin Wild: And we're moving into a new paradigm where emotional intelligence is the greatest, it's the greatest gift you can have.
- 3:02Dr. Kristin Wild: It's the greatest skill you can have.
- 3:04Dr. Kristin Wild: We're moving into, um people led economy, instead of that top down, we're moving from bottom up now.
- 3:11Dr. Kristin Wild: And so really takes a grassroots approach.
- 3:16Dr. Kristin Wild: And so my business is, I have two, uh, I have a digital clinic called Modern Health Solution.
- 3:23Dr. Kristin Wild: We work with people that are in chronic physical pain, chronic illnesses, like autoimmune conditions.
- 3:28Dr. Kristin Wild: We work with people that have severe anxiety and depression, and we work with people that are recovering from traumatic relationships.
- 3:35Dr. Kristin Wild: Now that business has tons of no cost and low cost programs.
- 3:40Dr. Kristin Wild: And then it also has a more high, what we'd call in the biz, a high ticket program.
- 3:45Dr. Kristin Wild: And yet that high ticket program is still affordable healthcare for how much it would cost to go through a system like that.
- 3:53Dr. Kristin Wild: So that's the part where That's where the profit piece comes in, in that business.
- 3:57Dr. Kristin Wild: If someone's so inclined to go deeper and invest, they can.
- 4:00Dr. Kristin Wild: And if not, there's tons of available free resources that are very robust and that help create tangible, practical results for people that's one business.
- 4:13Dr. Kristin Wild: And then the second business that I have is called British Columbia Mediation and Consulting.
- 4:19Dr. Kristin Wild: And that.
- 4:20Dr. Kristin Wild: We do real estate and medical system strategy.
- 4:24Dr. Kristin Wild: So we work with multi million, billion dollar portfolios, projects.
- 4:29Dr. Kristin Wild: I'm right now doing quite a bit of work with Catholic diocese and Christian, uh, organizations that want to build affordable housing and have that affordable housing, make some profits so that they can invest in their programs.
- 4:44Dr. Kristin Wild: So you can see.
- 4:45Dr. Kristin Wild: Purpose and profit.
- 4:46Dr. Kristin Wild: It is always the goal, even when we're working with nonprofit organizations.
- 4:50Dr. Kristin Wild: So things are changing
- 4:52Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 4:53Tom Jackobs: I love that.
- 4:53Tom Jackobs: Oh, that's, that's great.
- 4:54Tom Jackobs: Tell us a little bit more about that second business, how real estate and healthcare, like how does, how does that kind of combine?
- 5:01Dr. Kristin Wild: This is it's, you know, how things just kind of come together and you're doing things your whole life and you don't really know why.
- 5:07Dr. Kristin Wild: Well, I'm obsessed with real estate.
- 5:09Dr. Kristin Wild: It's just this weird side thing that I've always been obsessed with.
- 5:12Dr. Kristin Wild: I was a real estate agent for a while, owned a property management company, done my own investing.
- 5:16Dr. Kristin Wild: And it.
- 5:17Dr. Kristin Wild: And it, I just was so obsessed with it.
- 5:19Dr. Kristin Wild: People started asking me for advice over the years.
- 5:23Dr. Kristin Wild: And so finally, five years ago, I opened a company.
- 5:25Dr. Kristin Wild: I was like, y'all might as well pay me.
- 5:27Dr. Kristin Wild: And so
- 5:30Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 5:31Dr. Kristin Wild: it's just one of those things.
- 5:32Dr. Kristin Wild: And then the fact that I had created this integrative health system, there's now a lot of private health systems arising and they need help organizing in how they can structure these systems.
- 5:43Dr. Kristin Wild: So it just happened to me.
- 5:47Tom Jackobs: So it's, it's in my mind when you said, uh, real estate and healthcare systems, I was thinking you were finding real estate for healthcare systems, but they're, they're different.
- 5:58Dr. Kristin Wild: They're different.
- 5:58Dr. Kristin Wild: Sometimes we were doing consulting on building private clinics.
- 6:01Dr. Kristin Wild: Sometimes we're doing consulting on building affordable housing.
- 6:06Dr. Kristin Wild: It's all over.
- 6:07Dr. Kristin Wild: It's so fun.
- 6:09Tom Jackobs: Oh yeah.
- 6:09Tom Jackobs: And well, and for a serial entrepreneur like yourself, then having that variety is very important.
- 6:16Dr. Kristin Wild: So it's like, it's like multi talented.
- 6:19Dr. Kristin Wild: You like to have your multi dimensional things so that you never get bored in your career.
- 6:25Tom Jackobs: I mean, I'm, I'm like that as well.
- 6:28Tom Jackobs: I was just, I was going through and I was like, Oh, you know what?
- 6:30Tom Jackobs: I should do this additional piece of the business.
- 6:33Tom Jackobs: And then I was like, no shiny.
- 6:36Tom Jackobs: I'm going to like hold off for right now on that until, but that's, that's the curse of, uh, entrepreneurship is that shiny object syndrome.
- 6:44Tom Jackobs: But so has everything been just, you know, rainbows and butterflies for you as you've built a purpose led business that makes a profit or have there been a few blumps in the road?
- 6:55Dr. Kristin Wild: So this is the thing is when you are purposeful about something, I read a quote a while ago that said you can never over invest in being the market leader.
- 7:03Dr. Kristin Wild: And so I agree with that.
- 7:06Dr. Kristin Wild: This isn't for the faint of spirit.
- 7:07Dr. Kristin Wild: Do not become an entrepreneur if you can't handle going through a period of time where you don't know where your next paycheck is coming from.
- 7:17Dr. Kristin Wild: So I went over three years without a paycheck in building Modern Health Solution because I was so passionate about what we were doing.
- 7:24Dr. Kristin Wild: We're helping people heal from these diseases.
- 7:26Dr. Kristin Wild: They're told are incurable.
- 7:28Dr. Kristin Wild: So it was, I took my entire nest egg.
- 7:32Dr. Kristin Wild: And created this program and invested in understanding how to create a digital program to be the best.
- 7:42Dr. Kristin Wild: And, you know, it was, it was times where I was like, what the hell am I doing?
- 7:48Dr. Kristin Wild: I'm, you know, I'm so good at real estate investing.
- 7:51Dr. Kristin Wild: I could have just taken that money and invested in real estate and created it.
- 7:53Dr. Kristin Wild: Not where, you know, it's like all these thoughts run through your head, but then that's, you come back to that purpose.
- 7:58Dr. Kristin Wild: It's like, no, I can't not do this.
- 8:00Dr. Kristin Wild: You have someone who sends you a message and said, you know, this has completely transformed my life.
- 8:05Dr. Kristin Wild: I wouldn't have made it, you know, and it's, you go, okay.
- 8:09Dr. Kristin Wild: And you double down again, you have to keep doubling down until you make it.
- 8:13Dr. Kristin Wild: And.
- 8:14Dr. Kristin Wild: You, the things that you go through your mind, your spirit, it is a rite of passage.
- 8:21Dr. Kristin Wild: So if you're feeling that way, just know you're normal.
- 8:24Dr. Kristin Wild: That's part of the process.
- 8:27Tom Jackobs: Right.
- 8:28Tom Jackobs: And so in designing a purpose led business, how do you know?
- 8:33Tom Jackobs: If the purpose that you want to give to the world can make a profit and people want it.
- 8:40Dr. Kristin Wild: We live in a planet that is so interconnected.
- 8:42Dr. Kristin Wild: If you are passionate about it, there are other people that are too.
- 8:46Dr. Kristin Wild: Easy peasy.
- 8:47Dr. Kristin Wild: Sell it to yourself.
- 8:49Dr. Kristin Wild: That's what I did.
- 8:50Dr. Kristin Wild: I made it for me.
- 8:51Dr. Kristin Wild: I made it for past Kristin, who was in immense pain and completely in a state of hopelessness, was, had doors closed in her face every step of the way.
- 9:01Dr. Kristin Wild: I made it for her.
- 9:02Tom Jackobs: That's beautiful.
- 9:03Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 9:04Tom Jackobs: Cause I mean, you're your best customer most of the time anyway.
- 9:07Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 9:08Tom Jackobs: So how did you find your passion and your purpose?
- 9:12Dr. Kristin Wild: Well, again, it just happened to me.
- 9:13Dr. Kristin Wild: I got real sick for a decade with no answers.
- 9:18Dr. Kristin Wild: So I took it upon myself to try and cure myself.
- 9:21Dr. Kristin Wild: It was do or die, right?
- 9:23Dr. Kristin Wild: Literally, literally do or die.
- 9:24Dr. Kristin Wild: There was a point where I was bedridden.
- 9:27Dr. Kristin Wild: 80 percent of the time, I was told I needed four of my joints replaced.
- 9:30Dr. Kristin Wild: My organs were shutting down they said that I was insane because I wouldn't take medication, but I just knew from research and having such a science background that when we're putting chemicals in our body, they're not communicating well with ourselves because they're not natural.
- 9:45Dr. Kristin Wild: Right.
- 9:46Dr. Kristin Wild: And so, uh, I had received a lot of backlash while I was busy dying.
- 9:52Dr. Kristin Wild: One thing led to another and I finally found resutls And then those results fed other results.
- 9:58Dr. Kristin Wild: And here I am six years in remission and we're still, we're still finding even more clues to longevity and now biohacking and et cetera, you know, but it was, no choice but to become this person.
- 10:12Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 10:13Tom Jackobs: I mean, so many entrepreneurs I speak to, especially the heart led ones.
- 10:17Tom Jackobs: have that same kind of crisis in their life that forces them to make a decision whether to stay in the profit led or go towards the purpose or the heart led peace.
- 10:28Tom Jackobs: And they find so much more peace and fulfillment in in doing the business that is meant for other people, putting the people over the profits.
- 10:39Tom Jackobs: And a lot of times when they have the business mindset as well, they're able to make that business really successful.
- 10:47Tom Jackobs: But I also talked to those Practitioners and, and heart led business owners that don't have that business acumen.
- 10:54Tom Jackobs: So what type of advice would you give to somebody that has a purpose led, but it's just struggling with business and going, I don't know how to make this happen.
- 11:02Tom Jackobs: And you know, they're fearful of closing their doors.
- 11:06Dr. Kristin Wild: What I would do is go out and collaborate and create a partnership with someone who is good at business.
- 11:13Dr. Kristin Wild: So, you know, in our, for instance, in our we've now brought in other holistic coaches and we create the atmosphere and bring the people in and then they can just do their work.
- 11:26Tom Jackobs: Hmm.
- 11:27Dr. Kristin Wild: Very rarely is someone going to be a true entrepreneur because it takes decades of learning.
- 11:36Dr. Kristin Wild: You call instant success.
- 11:38Dr. Kristin Wild: No, it takes many, many years to be successful.
- 11:43Dr. Kristin Wild: And, and often people don't understand the rite of passage that's going to be to step through that experience and to the in charge of your own finances.
- 11:53Dr. Kristin Wild: You have to learn so much.
- 11:55Dr. Kristin Wild: You basically have to go get an MBA experience.
- 12:01Dr. Kristin Wild: It's, it's one of those things.
- 12:03Dr. Kristin Wild: So if that's not your thing, you want to just, you have an amazing service and you're so good at it and you're so talented, don't bother learning business.
- 12:11Dr. Kristin Wild: Find someone who's already good at it, plug into their system and collaborate.
- 12:16Tom Jackobs: I love that.
- 12:17Tom Jackobs: I mean, talk about putting people first as well.
- 12:19Tom Jackobs: And that collaborative environment just helps everybody because you have one business, although I can see some conflict probably coming up at some point.
- 12:28Tom Jackobs: It's like, Oh, we need to make some more profit from the business person.
- 12:31Tom Jackobs: The other person's like, yeah, but we need to help all these other more people.
- 12:34Tom Jackobs: And, and, but I think it makes a business better when you have those conflicts, those positive conflicts in, in the business.
- 12:42Dr. Kristin Wild: And you can control the narrative from the beginning.
- 12:44Dr. Kristin Wild: So if you are on the business side of things, you know what you're doing and that at this point when you're, when you're bringing in other people to collaborate with.
- 12:52Dr. Kristin Wild: So if you control the narrative from the beginning, these are the expectations.
- 12:55Dr. Kristin Wild: And also that other person maintains their sovereignty and freedom, then they're free to come and go.
- 13:02Dr. Kristin Wild: They're free to set their hours.
- 13:04Dr. Kristin Wild: They're free to do what they need to do.
- 13:07Dr. Kristin Wild: And if they're not.
- 13:09Dr. Kristin Wild: Progressing or, or, um, or contributing in the way that was expected, then they're naturally just going to fall away.
- 13:17Tom Jackobs: Oh, that's true.
- 13:18Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 13:19Tom Jackobs: So when you were first kind of building the business and going through the crisis that you had times where the profit just wasn't happening, right?
- 13:29Tom Jackobs: And then did you actually partner with other people to make that happen?
- 13:33Tom Jackobs: Or how did you get through kind of the downtimes in that business?
- 13:37Tom Jackobs: So I'm self funded.
- 13:39Dr. Kristin Wild: I cashed in all of my real estate investments to do this.
- 13:44Tom Jackobs: Wow.
- 13:44Tom Jackobs: Wow.
- 13:45Tom Jackobs: Let's talk about burning the boats.
- 13:50Tom Jackobs: What type of fire does that put under you?
- 13:52Dr. Kristin Wild: A huge one.
- 13:55Dr. Kristin Wild: I went through it.
- 13:56Dr. Kristin Wild: And because, and through all this too, I was going through a divorce and all the things, you know, as we do, this is how life is.
- 14:01Dr. Kristin Wild: It's like, everything's coming at you at once.
- 14:04Dr. Kristin Wild: And so I'm raising two daughters.
- 14:07Dr. Kristin Wild: through this, another experience and that's it.
- 14:09Dr. Kristin Wild: And, and in the background, uh, I was doing volunteer work.
- 14:13Dr. Kristin Wild: I have for years in helping women and children escape domestic abuse.
- 14:18Dr. Kristin Wild: So I still do that to this day.
- 14:19Dr. Kristin Wild: I'm still boots on the ground with that.
- 14:21Dr. Kristin Wild: And so I was doing that as well and going to school full time.
- 14:25Dr. Kristin Wild: It
- 14:26Tom Jackobs: always amazes me how people are able to do so much in such a short, you know, in 24 hours and, and still make it out to the other side.
- 14:36Dr. Kristin Wild: Yeah.
- 14:38Dr. Kristin Wild: and sometimes when we look back, it's like, how did I do that?
- 14:40Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's grace.
- 14:41Dr. Kristin Wild: It's like, I call it the walk of grace.
- 14:43Dr. Kristin Wild: It's funny when you are determined and you're like, I am doing this no matter what.
- 14:48Dr. Kristin Wild: It's amazing the serendipities that show up, the connection points and how one thing leads to another.
- 14:55Dr. Kristin Wild: For instance, the place that I was volunteering at, at that time, it was not in a good mental state then.
- 15:01Dr. Kristin Wild: So they had me folding clothes with the volunteers in their, what they call karma market.
- 15:05Dr. Kristin Wild: And just this week, I was offered president of their board.
- 15:09Tom Jackobs: Oh, wow.
- 15:11Dr. Kristin Wild: So it's, you never know how, how things are going to unfold for you and why things are happening in the moment.
- 15:20Dr. Kristin Wild: And then in hindsight, it's like, Oh, it was all for this moment.
- 15:25Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 15:26Tom Jackobs: And it's so interesting to like myself, looking back at those times, you know, working 20 hours a day for days on end and, you know, thinking about it.
- 15:38Tom Jackobs: Going into that, I would never have done that probably, but it just happened because the purpose, the passion was there and I knew that it had to happen.
- 15:47Tom Jackobs: And I know a lot of entrepreneurs like yourself feel that way as well.
- 15:51Tom Jackobs: It's comforting to hear that there is, you know, on the other side, there's, there's, there's better things to, to, to come about, especially for those that are, you know, in the industry.
- 16:02Tom Jackobs: Kind of struggling right now, or even contemplating starting a heart led business, but just kind of struggling with that business side.
- 16:09Tom Jackobs: So other than partnering with somebody else, what other pieces of advice would you give to a burgeoning heart led business owner that might be not so great at the business side?
- 16:18Dr. Kristin Wild: Just learn.
- 16:19Dr. Kristin Wild: It's, find someone, whether it's on YouTube, there's so much information out there, books, YouTube, learn, learn, learn.
- 16:27Dr. Kristin Wild: And you have to get obsessed with it.
- 16:29Dr. Kristin Wild: If you're not into it, you're not going to make it.
- 16:33Tom Jackobs: Hmm.
- 16:35Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 16:35Tom Jackobs: I saw somebody go through that, um, starting a business.
- 16:39Tom Jackobs: And then within nine months, it was just like, just kind of like, rolling along and I was like, what are you doing?
- 16:46Tom Jackobs: It's like, eh, I don't know if I want to do this anymore.
- 16:49Tom Jackobs: I'm like, okay, it's going to be hard to start.
- 16:53Tom Jackobs: And you know, that was advice.
- 16:54Tom Jackobs: I said, you know, be prepared.
- 16:56Tom Jackobs: It's going to be hard to start, but once you put the work in, you know, you, you will be successful if you're passionate about it.
- 17:03Tom Jackobs: And apparently you're not passionate enough about it, unfortunately.
- 17:07Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 17:07Dr. Kristin Wild: Well, there's that wave, right?
- 17:08Dr. Kristin Wild: Uh, I'm, um, Alex and Layla Hermosi show it is really cool where it's like you have uninformed optimism in the beginning.
- 17:17Dr. Kristin Wild: You're like, yeah, this is gonna be so amazing.
- 17:18Dr. Kristin Wild: And that's good.
- 17:19Dr. Kristin Wild: You can just see the vision and so exciting.
- 17:21Dr. Kristin Wild: And then you get like informed pessimism.
- 17:23Dr. Kristin Wild: You're like, Oh no, this is so much harder than I thought it was going to be.
- 17:27Dr. Kristin Wild: And.
- 17:27Dr. Kristin Wild: That's where you have to really get into the muck of it and the learning phase.
- 17:31Dr. Kristin Wild: And some people don't get out of that phase, but then it turns into informed optimism and that's where you really get going.
- 17:39Dr. Kristin Wild: And if you don't make it through that.
- 17:42Dr. Kristin Wild: Uninformed pessimism stage, you're not going to make it.
- 17:46Tom Jackobs: Uh, and I, and I feel like a lot of people quit at that end that probably should have just kept their job over the years instead of trying something new or something that they weren't quite prepared for as well.
- 18:02Dr. Kristin Wild: They just don't know it's innocence, right?
- 18:04Dr. Kristin Wild: You don't know what it's going to take because if you've continuously worked for someone else, you're just, you're clocking in and clocking out every day, you're not really, you don't really anticipate what, what it's going to be like, cause you have no connection point until you're in it.
- 18:20Dr. Kristin Wild: And you're like, Oh, this is hard.
- 18:22Tom Jackobs: Now have you ever been a part of a profit based business, either of your own or working for somebody else that was purely profit?
- 18:30Dr. Kristin Wild: Um, but I was a real estate agent.
- 18:34Dr. Kristin Wild: So that was, but the thing is I still loved the people and we had so much fun and it was really great and they bought nice houses and it worked out for them.
- 18:42Dr. Kristin Wild: And, you know, so I was, it was still.
- 18:46Dr. Kristin Wild: Very heart centered.
- 18:47Dr. Kristin Wild: We had such a good time.
- 18:49Tom Jackobs: My first job out of school was in oil and gas.
- 18:52Tom Jackobs: And so that was like purely profit.
- 18:55Tom Jackobs: And I stayed,
- 18:56Dr. Kristin Wild: me too, actually.
- 18:57Tom Jackobs: yeah.
- 18:57Dr. Kristin Wild: an industrial electrician.
- 18:59Tom Jackobs: Oh my gosh.
- 19:02Dr. Kristin Wild: I know.
- 19:03Tom Jackobs: Well, I was tracking rail cars of chemicals, so not quite that exciting, but
- 19:11Dr. Kristin Wild: right.
- 19:11Dr. Kristin Wild: Yes, that one.
- 19:13Tom Jackobs: Looking at, you know, a purely profit business, it just, it felt.
- 19:18Tom Jackobs: Like it was sucking the soul out of me day to day.
- 19:21Tom Jackobs: And it was just like, every day was a pressure cooker.
- 19:24Tom Jackobs: And not that having the purpose led business or the heart led business isn't a pressure cooker at times.
- 19:32Tom Jackobs: Um, but it feels better because you're, you have that purpose behind it.
- 19:39Tom Jackobs: Me, like making sure that polypropylene made it its way to the plant.
- 19:43Tom Jackobs: Like, uh, you know, yeah, if it doesn't, I'll get in trouble.
- 19:47Tom Jackobs: But like, at the end of the day, like, what's that going to do for the world?
- 19:51Tom Jackobs: More plastics.
- 19:52Tom Jackobs: Yay.
- 19:52Tom Jackobs: But having you know, a fitness center.
- 19:56Tom Jackobs: Like I started with my fitness center and having that scene that people were changing and getting better and, and even working 20 hours a day.
- 20:06Tom Jackobs: It felt great.
- 20:08Dr. Kristin Wild: Yes.
- 20:09Dr. Kristin Wild: Yes, you're right.
- 20:10Dr. Kristin Wild: It's exactly that.
- 20:11Dr. Kristin Wild: This feeling like your soul is being just from your body every day.
- 20:17Dr. Kristin Wild: Definitely, I can relate to that.
- 20:18Dr. Kristin Wild: And that's exactly why I can't, I cannot work for other people anymore.
- 20:22Dr. Kristin Wild: It's just not an option.
- 20:24Dr. Kristin Wild: I can work with people and I love people, but being your own sovereign entity is.
- 20:32Dr. Kristin Wild: It is worth it.
- 20:34Tom Jackobs: Give me your own opinion on this, but I feel like the purpose led business feeds your soul, even in those dark times versus.
- 20:43Tom Jackobs: You know, sucking the soul out of you.
- 20:45Dr. Kristin Wild: Yeah, well, it's what's going to get you through because there will be so many, so many roadblocks, so many things that you have to figure out and strategize and reroute.
- 20:57Dr. Kristin Wild: And when you have that purpose behind you, where you know, you're really making an impact on people's lives.
- 21:06Dr. Kristin Wild: It will keep you going.
- 21:08Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 21:09Tom Jackobs: So tell us a little bit about the duck in a box.
- 21:12Tom Jackobs: I'm really fascinated with that.
- 21:14Dr. Kristin Wild: I love that.
- 21:15Dr. Kristin Wild: Um, it's amazing.
- 21:17Dr. Kristin Wild: So we decided to go all digital because we want to work with people everywhere.
- 21:23Dr. Kristin Wild: And so we have something called the collective.
- 21:28Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's everyone together.
- 21:30Dr. Kristin Wild: So there is coaches and people in there that are a little bit further down the path than others.
- 21:35Dr. Kristin Wild: But every person in their teaching is someone who's lived through what people are learning to navigate.
- 21:42Dr. Kristin Wild: Seeing someone on the path alone.
- 21:45Dr. Kristin Wild: makes such a massive difference and in bringing in hope and motivation for people to move forward because often people just feel stuck.
- 21:54Dr. Kristin Wild: They've been told, take this medication or, you know, this is your life.
- 21:58Dr. Kristin Wild: There's nothing we can do about it.
- 21:59Dr. Kristin Wild: And so to be able to see other people who have overcome what they were told was impossible is magic.
- 22:08Dr. Kristin Wild: It really, is an amazing place.
- 22:12Dr. Kristin Wild: So we have programs in place that are practical where you follow step by step and you can really make a difference in your own life.
- 22:22Dr. Kristin Wild: And it started from me, but now we have, I don't even know.
- 22:25Dr. Kristin Wild: I, we brought in two new coaches just last week.
- 22:27Dr. Kristin Wild: So I think we're at 10 coaches now and they are all unique.
- 22:33Dr. Kristin Wild: We have, um, people that are PhDs in social work.
- 22:39Dr. Kristin Wild: We have medical doctors.
- 22:41Dr. Kristin Wild: We have, you know, it's just all these different types of people that have just that same vision of seeing us in this new earth, this new way of healing, this new way of living in our bodies.
- 22:56Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's working.
- 22:57Dr. Kristin Wild: So I don't even know how to describe it.
- 23:00Dr. Kristin Wild: It's amazing.
- 23:01Dr. Kristin Wild: I just like blows my mind because I knew I had a feeling it was going to become this but I didn't know how
- 23:08Tom Jackobs: Yeah,
- 23:08Dr. Kristin Wild: how it's unfolded has just been such, it's been miraculous for me to witness this, this whole thing.
- 23:16Tom Jackobs: That's so cool.
- 23:17Tom Jackobs: And what, what type of conditions are, are people seeking help for?
- 23:22Dr. Kristin Wild: It's mostly autoimmune conditions because that is, you know, that's what I overcame on autoimmune condition, probably one of the most severe that you could see.
- 23:34Dr. Kristin Wild: So for me to come out the other side like this, so healthy is amazing.
- 23:38Dr. Kristin Wild: I'm a living testament of that.
- 23:40Dr. Kristin Wild: And so now, so hundreds of other people are also a living testament to that.
- 23:44Dr. Kristin Wild: So that's what we, mostly people come in, we're like one in two people have autoimmune symptoms or conditions in the Western world.
- 23:53Dr. Kristin Wild: Yeah.
- 23:53Dr. Kristin Wild: And throughout the UK.
- 23:55Dr. Kristin Wild: It's for so many people.
- 23:57Dr. Kristin Wild: And the other piece is the anxiety and depression piece.
- 24:00Dr. Kristin Wild: Well, they kind of go hand in hand.
- 24:01Dr. Kristin Wild: There's so many people living with major anxiety and depression right now.
- 24:05Dr. Kristin Wild: Cause we are in a weird, really weird world.
- 24:08Dr. Kristin Wild: And, uh, you know, from the chaos will emerge the coherence, but, uh, we're still in the chaos phase.
- 24:14Dr. Kristin Wild: So it's like, just kind of over here in our, In our nuclear shell and creating that coherence.
- 24:23Dr. Kristin Wild: Right?
- 24:23Dr. Kristin Wild: And it's, yeah, it's just this beautiful experience because we're walking hand in hand with people.
- 24:31Dr. Kristin Wild: The day of the guru is over.
- 24:33Dr. Kristin Wild: You know, it's like, I'm a human.
- 24:35Dr. Kristin Wild: You're a human.
- 24:36Dr. Kristin Wild: I have some answers and keys.
- 24:38Dr. Kristin Wild: You have some answers and keys.
- 24:40Dr. Kristin Wild: Let's share them.
- 24:41Dr. Kristin Wild: And.
- 24:42Dr. Kristin Wild: Do whatever we can to bring this planet into the enlightened state that it's destined for.
- 24:49Tom Jackobs: Yeah.
- 24:50Tom Jackobs: Wow.
- 24:51Tom Jackobs: Talk about a steep, steep hill to climb right now anyway, but I'm so glad there's people like, like you that are, they're taking on that torch and especially the help.
- 25:02Tom Jackobs: You know, having it online as well, and the help that you're providing to people with depression, anxiety, and the autoimmune diseases, a lot of times it's, it's hard to leave the home.
- 25:13Tom Jackobs: And so having that platform right there and, and, you know, on their laptop is, is so great.
- 25:18Tom Jackobs: What a great idea.
