  Speaker 1: today's word. He's the God of abundance. Matthew seventeen twenty

  Speaker 1: seven in the New Living Translation says, go down to

  Speaker 1: the lake and throw in a line. Open the mouth

  Speaker 1: of the first fish you catch, and you will find

  Speaker 1: a large silver coin. Take it to pay the taxes

  Speaker 1: for both of us. You know, oftentimes when we look

  Speaker 1: at our circumstances, we get overwhelmed by what we see

  Speaker 1: in the natural. We look at our bank account or
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: financial situation, and we don't see how we can pay
• 0:48
  Speaker 1: our bills. We don't see owning a home, or just
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: doing any more than just renting, if you will. We
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: don't see having a dream, let alone own accomplishing our dreams.

  Speaker 1: With the state of our economies, uncertainty just looming around,

  Speaker 1: inflated gas prices, food prices being so high it's hard

  Speaker 1: to make a meal, and high interest rates, we may
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: not see away in the natural. But guess what God is.

  Speaker 1: Jehovah Jirah. He is our provider. God is a supernatural god.

  Speaker 1: We don't have to see it in the natural when
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: we come to the end of our resources. Guess what

  Speaker 1: we're right where He wants us to be completely trusting
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: and relying on him. He says, I'll make streams in

  Speaker 1: the desert. I'll take five lows in two fish and
• 1:43
  Speaker 1: multiply them to feed thousands. When Peter didn't have money
• 1:49
  Speaker 1: to pay the Temple text, Jesus told him to go
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: to the lake and first fish he caught would have
• 1:56
  Speaker 1: a coin in its mouth that covered his and Jesus tax.

  Speaker 1: You see, God was showing us in this example that

  Speaker 1: he has supernatural provision for us. He's not limited by
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: what you don't have. He's not limited by your education,

  Speaker 1: or your career, or who may be in what position.

  Speaker 1: You may be barely getting by today, but you're going
• 2:21
  Speaker 1: to come out of not enough into more than enough.

  Speaker 1: God is not a get by God. He's an overflow God.

  Speaker 1: He's a God of abundance. So don't live with lack
• 2:35
  Speaker 1: or a lack mentality, a limited mindset. Stop looking and

  Speaker 1: focusing on your circumstances. You need to have an abundant
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: mentality because He is the God of abundance. Father, thank
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: you that you are away where there seems to be
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: no way and you're not limited by our circumstances or
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: what things have been like in our lives. Thank you

  Speaker 1: that we are in the palms of your hands and

  Speaker 1: you have supernatural ways of providing for what we need.

  Speaker 1: Help us God to have an abundance mentality and to

  Speaker 1: believe for overflow in our lives in Jesus' name. Hey,

  Speaker 1: now that your work for today, take it, apply to
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: your everyday life and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
