- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's go Monday morning.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Here we are, we're back, spring break is behind us,
- 0:07Speaker 3: and we're ready to tackle the new week.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things?
- 0:11Speaker 1: Are we ready to tackle?
- 0:12Speaker 4: Then?
- 0:12Speaker 2: You know, sometimes she's gotta say stuff and make it
- 0:14Speaker 2: through just.
- 0:16Speaker 5: Speaking into existence. Okay, that's what we're doing right now,
- 0:18Speaker 5: Kelly Clarkson. She just recently revealed that she never got
- 0:22Speaker 5: her American Idol prize money, which is kind of crazy.
- 0:26Speaker 1: Rob Rousch he's a Winner of Traders.
- 0:28Speaker 5: He was on The Kelly Clarkson Show where she got
- 0:30Speaker 5: really candid about the behind the scenes on how these
- 0:32Speaker 5: shows really work by bringing up to him like, hey,
- 0:35Speaker 5: have you gotten your prize money yet and ending with
- 0:39Speaker 5: I didn't get mine ever. So, she explained that when
- 0:42Speaker 5: she won the inaugural inaugural I can't speak season of
- 0:47Speaker 5: American Idol back in two thousand and two, she never
- 0:49Speaker 5: got her million dollar prize or the car that she
- 0:52Speaker 5: was promised that she would get if she won. She said, quote,
- 0:55Speaker 5: it was like a million dollars worth of investment in you. Instead,
- 1:00Speaker 5: also said that the season two runner up klay Aking
- 1:02Speaker 5: got a car, and so did his mom so she's
- 1:05Speaker 5: really still wondering what the heck happened to her stuff.
- 1:08Speaker 2: That's very weird.
- 1:09Speaker 5: It's really crazy and kind of mind blowing to think about.
- 1:12Speaker 5: But I'm guessing her uh NDA's.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Up, so she's ready to talk about and talk.
- 1:17Speaker 5: About it and let everybody know that. Like sometimes these
- 1:19Speaker 5: things are kind of uh blown out of proportion and
- 1:22Speaker 5: they're not exactly what you expect them to be. So
- 1:24Speaker 5: hopefully rob Rousch gets his money and gets what he
- 1:27Speaker 5: was promised, and things have changed at this point, we'll
- 1:29Speaker 5: see Metropolis has expanded its Park and Play program, which
- 1:33Speaker 5: is really amazing. This is a program that offers free
- 1:35Speaker 5: parking to national musicians, which is an ongoing battle for
- 1:39Speaker 5: them as it is for us, because we don't have
- 1:41Speaker 5: any free parking anywhere in the city anymore.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Everything's been taken.
- 1:45Speaker 5: Away, mostly by Metropolis. So they are doing this program
- 1:49Speaker 5: and they are expanding it. The initiative launched last August,
- 1:53Speaker 5: and it includes lots and areas like Downtown, the Gulch, Midtown,
- 1:56Speaker 5: and East Nashville. There's a full list of all the
- 1:58Speaker 5: participating locations on Metropolis's website if you want to check
- 2:02Speaker 5: that out.
- 2:02Speaker 1: If you're a musician take advantage of it.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I mean, some of these.
- 2:05Speaker 3: Musicians going downtown to do gigs are losing money because they're.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, or just to meet with their record label.
- 2:11Speaker 5: They're losing money to meet with their record label about things,
- 2:14Speaker 5: and it just doesn't make any sense. We'd experience it
- 2:17Speaker 5: quite often when we have to go downtown for a
- 2:18Speaker 5: gig and we're like, oh, well, there's sixty dollars down
- 2:21Speaker 5: the drain. It's a new study has found that teenagers
- 2:24Speaker 5: are spending a third of their school day looking at
- 2:26Speaker 5: their smartphones. So, per this report, middle and high school
- 2:29Speaker 5: students are checking their phones dozens of times while at school,
- 2:33Speaker 5: frequently every hour. It's both linked to weaker impulse controls
- 2:38Speaker 5: and attention spans. Obviously, for any parent out there, you
- 2:42Speaker 5: know what these teachers are going through, and if these
- 2:44Speaker 5: kids are constantly checking their smartphones, they're not doing the
- 2:47Speaker 5: work that they need to do. So everybody's got to
- 2:49Speaker 5: work jointly when it comes to the education of their
- 2:52Speaker 5: kids and going to school. I know that back in school,
- 2:54Speaker 5: when I was in high school, you just had your
- 2:56Speaker 5: phone under the desk and you had to use T
- 2:58Speaker 5: nine to type out text messages. To each That's all
- 3:00Speaker 5: we could do is text each other. Yeah, I'm Ricky
- 3:02Speaker 5: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Thank you so much, Ricky.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Were getting back into the music here, but hey, we
- 3:07Speaker 3: started this new pick six and twenty six things. So
- 3:10Speaker 3: right after Olivia Dean, you're gonna have a chance to
- 3:13Speaker 3: get yourself in the running here and we'll send you
- 3:15Speaker 3: to six concerts in twenty twenty six. Six. If you're
- 3:18Speaker 3: choosing in Nashville, get that keyword, your chance to win.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Next on the River, Ricky is Zach and Manno in
- 3:25Speaker 6: the morning on the River.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Kevin, are you so excited about which part of this? Well,
- 3:31Speaker 1: because you.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Get to say something that you love to say about
- 3:35Speaker 5: the first caller of the day in about three seconds,
- 3:37Speaker 5: we have tickets to see John Mulaney at the Ryeman
- 3:40Speaker 5: on June thirteenth. If you are the first caller of
- 3:42Speaker 5: the day of the.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Week, the first caller of the day of the week, the.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Very first one for the first one in a week.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Oh in okay, you're going deep with the spring break break.
- 3:53Speaker 2: The first caller of the day of.
- 3:55Speaker 3: The week in a week week, I don't even I
- 3:57Speaker 3: lost it. I lost the thread six seven three seven nine.
- 4:01Speaker 3: The point is John Mulaney. We love John Mulaney. He's
- 4:03Speaker 3: gonna be at the Ryman And if you're the first
- 4:05Speaker 3: caller of the day of the week, you're gonna be.
- 4:07Speaker 4: There with him.
- 4:09Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on the river.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Happy Monday friends, thank you for starting your week with us.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Stephanie and Bowling Green, Kentucky is on the line. How
- 4:19Speaker 3: are you, Stephanie.
- 4:20Speaker 7: I'm doing good. How are you all?
- 4:22Speaker 2: We're good?
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, moving a little slow on this Monday morning.
- 4:25Speaker 3: We uh were kind of off last week for spring break.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Did you have yours yet or is that coming up?
- 4:30Speaker 3: What's your situation now?
- 4:32Speaker 7: We have ours in April, so we've still got a
- 4:34Speaker 7: few weeks.
- 4:35Speaker 5: That makes so much more sense to me, Stephanie, this
- 4:37Speaker 5: is fascinating how everybody does it so different in New Jersey.
- 4:41Speaker 1: That's always what we did as well.
- 4:42Speaker 5: It was in April, so like the fact that March
- 4:46Speaker 5: is when we do it in Nashville always threw me
- 4:47Speaker 5: for a loop.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I'm like, it's still cold outside.
- 4:49Speaker 7: Yeah, it's so cold.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It doesn't feel like spring at all. Today is chili?
- 4:53Speaker 3: It's not even technically spring yet. I don't think spring
- 4:56Speaker 3: late next week.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It makes no sense. But listen, take what we you
- 5:00Speaker 1: can get. You got a week off, take the week off?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Why not? Right?
- 5:03Speaker 7: Right?
- 5:04Speaker 3: Right?
- 5:04Speaker 2: Are you doing anything or going anywhere?
- 5:06Speaker 1: You have kids for spring?
- 5:08Speaker 7: Well, now my daughter is in college and my son's
- 5:11Speaker 7: in school, and there's spring break. They're different, so yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 7: they like her. My daughter spring break is this week,
- 5:18Speaker 7: so we can't really go anywhere when they're scheduled off.
- 5:21Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a bummer. Does she go anywhere by herself? No?
- 5:25Speaker 7: Oh no, she's only sixteen?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh okay, okay.
- 5:28Speaker 5: I was like when I was in college, obviously I
- 5:30Speaker 5: had a different spray break from everybody else, and I
- 5:32Speaker 5: was like, I'm going wherever.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I want to see you later.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Did you say sixteen college?
- 5:36Speaker 7: She she's too young for me to let.
- 5:37Speaker 6: Her go just yet.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Sixteen in college?
- 5:39Speaker 1: Is that she said, Stephanie, Yes, that's right. Wow, Okay,
- 5:43Speaker 1: So I didn't.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Make that up in my hand. She's a genius.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Yeah, Stephanie, what I feel like you said that way too,
- 5:51Speaker 5: Doogie howser over here.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You said that.
- 5:53Speaker 5: Way too casually, and I thought that I heard college
- 5:56Speaker 5: and you didn't actually say college.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, when I was in college, I
- 5:58Speaker 1: used to just go anywhere. I was also of age
- 6:01Speaker 1: to do that. Yeah, that is amazing. Good for your.
- 6:05Speaker 7: Daughter now, I'm so proud of her.
- 6:07Speaker 1: Oh that's really sweet.
- 6:09Speaker 2: That's very cool.
- 6:10Speaker 5: Well, Stephanie, now you can be proud of yourself because
- 6:11Speaker 5: you woke up early, you called us, and you became
- 6:14Speaker 5: the first caller of the day. On one O seven
- 6:15Speaker 5: five the River. You got tickets to see John Mullaney
- 6:18Speaker 5: in the Ryman.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Yeah, we love John Mullaney.
- 6:21Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 6:22Speaker 3: One of the best comedians out there these days. He
- 6:24Speaker 3: puts on a great show. You're gonna have fun. Stephanie,
- 6:25Speaker 3: thank you for starting your week with us.
- 6:27Speaker 7: Thank you so much.
- 6:28Speaker 2: All right, hang on so we can get your information.
- 6:30Speaker 3: We have more of these John Mullaney tickets all week,
- 6:32Speaker 3: and I'm we should ask more questions about this genius daughter.
- 6:35Speaker 5: We don't have enough time, but I do have so
- 6:37Speaker 5: many more questions.
- 6:40Speaker 3: One O seven five the River, Good morning, Ricky, Zach
- 6:42Speaker 3: and man o'zach is out. It's just Ricky and myself today,
- 6:44Speaker 3: and I have a question for a couple of questions.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Ricky to see if I'm I don't know a bad person.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Oh, this is gonna be fun for me.
- 6:51Speaker 3: We've had some some house guests saying with us over
- 6:54Speaker 3: spring break and they go back today, they fly today, and.
- 6:57Speaker 1: You guys have a lot of house guests.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I know we do.
- 6:59Speaker 3: And I was supposed to take him to the airport,
- 7:02Speaker 3: but I'm now deciding that I'm not going to and
- 7:04Speaker 3: I need I need to ask some questions.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I need to ask you some questions.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll get into it next other.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and menow in the morning.
- 7:14Speaker 5: I hope you have your seatbelts on because we're going
- 7:17Speaker 5: on a ride right now. It's Ricky Zacamano in the
- 7:20Speaker 5: morning on one of seven five of the river.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Kevin has to ask me.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Questions, but I have to ask him questions about his
- 7:26Speaker 5: house guests. And the whole reason that we're doing this
- 7:28Speaker 5: is because he wants to know if he's a bad person.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Yeah, which is not a great thing to ask me.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Who's always willing to say your bad Just if.
- 7:35Speaker 3: You were on the other end of this, like you know,
- 7:37Speaker 3: we do have these house guests. If you were them,
- 7:38Speaker 3: I want to know how you would react to this.
- 7:40Speaker 3: It's kind of a tough part question here. They've been
- 7:42Speaker 3: with us for about a week and it's been lovely,
- 7:45Speaker 3: been great. They have a couple of kids, so it's
- 7:46Speaker 3: been a loud house and it's been very fun. Uh
- 7:49Speaker 3: And they go back this afternoon. I'm supposed to drive
- 7:52Speaker 3: them to the airport. It's like forty minutes away, you know,
- 7:55Speaker 3: and then it's like forty minutes sounds like two hours
- 7:57Speaker 3: of my day.
- 7:57Speaker 2: But I am so tired.
- 7:58Speaker 3: We stayed up way too lately last night, and I'm
- 8:01Speaker 3: very tired, and all I want to do after work
- 8:02Speaker 3: today is go home and take a nap. So I'm deciding,
- 8:05Speaker 3: as I was driving in this morning that I'm going
- 8:06Speaker 3: to bail on taking them to the airport.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I'm just not doing it.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Okay.
- 8:09Speaker 5: So is the question that I would be upset about
- 8:12Speaker 5: not being gat to the airport anymore?
- 8:13Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 8:14Speaker 2: No, okay, good, here's question number two. Thank you for that.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I appreciate that, now what I expected from you? Who
- 8:19Speaker 2: pays for that? Uber?
- 8:21Speaker 1: I would if I were the guest, But it's.
- 8:23Speaker 3: Like an expense I am like foisting upon them because
- 8:26Speaker 3: I was supposed to be there.
- 8:27Speaker 1: They came to visit. Yeah, they came to visit you.
- 8:31Speaker 5: If you're going to go somewhere and you're going to
- 8:33Speaker 5: travel somewhere, whether you're staying with people or not, and
- 8:35Speaker 5: you don't have planned means of how to get around, then.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You're not doing the travel correctly. I'm gonna go ahead
- 8:42Speaker 1: and tell you you're doing it wrong.
- 8:44Speaker 5: And you need to know that you're gonna have to
- 8:46Speaker 5: spend money on things. Just because you're bailing doesn't mean
- 8:48Speaker 5: that you should pay for their their.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Uber I really fully expected you say the opposite of
- 8:53Speaker 3: everything you're saying.
- 8:54Speaker 5: No, I mean, I think, I think truly one the
- 8:58Speaker 5: person who is willing to either pick you all partake
- 9:00Speaker 5: you to the airport.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Is a Saint o scept from heaven above.
- 9:04Speaker 5: Okay, because any airport you go to is an absolute hassle.
- 9:07Speaker 5: It is always out of the way, It is always
- 9:10Speaker 5: annoying to have to do that right like, so no
- 9:12Speaker 5: matter what is happening, it's always going to be a
- 9:14Speaker 5: frustrating experience. So anybody willing to do that is amazing.
- 9:18Speaker 5: If they decide to bail on doing that because they're
- 9:22Speaker 5: tired or they just can't.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Do it, that's not my part. Like, that's whatever. You
- 9:27Speaker 1: have a life. Still, you're still going to work, you're
- 9:29Speaker 1: still doing your thing.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I didn't expect any of this, and I thank you
- 9:32Speaker 2: for it.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I felt terrible this morning, and now you're making me
- 9:34Speaker 3: feel a lot better.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I think that you are totally within your rights, especially
- 9:38Speaker 5: because you're still working.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You're still doing your thing. If anything they're imposing on you,
- 9:41Speaker 1: what I heard.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Is that I'm a saint and hope you just leave
- 9:43Speaker 2: it at that.
- 9:44Speaker 5: I've sort of said that in a totally different way
- 9:47Speaker 5: than the way that I did.
- 9:48Speaker 1: I regret everything.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Now, well we are back.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Hope you had an ice spring break, if you were
- 9:53Speaker 3: if you were off, if you're out of town or
- 9:54Speaker 3: anything last week. Welcome back to it. It's a brand
- 9:57Speaker 3: new week and we're gonna kick its ass.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Okay, keV.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Monday morning.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Three things, right after seven o'clock on this Monday morning.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Thank you for starting your week with us. Ricky's got
- 10:10Speaker 2: those three things.
- 10:11Speaker 1: The oscars they happened last night. I got some highlights
- 10:14Speaker 1: for you.
- 10:15Speaker 5: One Battle after another got six awards, Sinners got four,
- 10:19Speaker 5: Frankenstein won three, and K Pop Demon Hunters walked away
- 10:23Speaker 5: with two trophies.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Cool.
- 10:24Speaker 5: I know best Actor category has been a hot topic
- 10:27Speaker 5: of discussion for this awards season because it looks like
- 10:30Speaker 5: it was gonna be a tight race between Michael B.
- 10:31Speaker 5: Jordan and Timothy Shalomey and even Leonardo DiCaprio, because those
- 10:35Speaker 5: are the big movies this year that everybody was talking about.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Michael B. Jordan. He won.
- 10:40Speaker 5: Congrats to him. Honestly, if you watch Centners, you know
- 10:43Speaker 5: that he deserved it. He played twins in this very original,
- 10:48Speaker 5: very interesting movie, and I am just so excited that
- 10:51Speaker 5: he won because I truly feel like he deserved it.
- 10:53Speaker 5: He went to in and Out to celebrate afterwards.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Which is also the coolest thing ever.
- 10:57Speaker 5: There's lots of videos going around of everybody cheering for
- 10:59Speaker 5: him and just being really excited that he was there
- 11:01Speaker 5: to celebrate.
- 11:02Speaker 3: And I will say, he played twins, but very different twins,
- 11:04Speaker 3: like all young, completely different people.
- 11:06Speaker 5: And if you look into any of the things that
- 11:07Speaker 5: he did to specifically portray each different person even though
- 11:12Speaker 5: they were twins, fascinating. Oh my god, he really deserved it.
- 11:16Speaker 5: Best Actress went to Jesse Buckley for her role in
- 11:18Speaker 5: Hamnet Autumn Derould Archapaal. She became the first woman to
- 11:22Speaker 5: ever win for Bets cinematography for her work on Sinners. Again,
- 11:26Speaker 5: just such a good movie. You gotta watch it if
- 11:29Speaker 5: you have not watched it yet. Also another great movie
- 11:31Speaker 5: to watch the one who won Best Picture which was
- 11:34Speaker 5: one battle after another great movie. A new weekend Broadway
- 11:37Speaker 5: street closure started over the weekend.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Just so you know, Broadway will be.
- 11:41Speaker 5: Closed between John Lewis Way and Second Avenue and Will
- 11:46Speaker 5: It's gonna be in place every Friday and Saturday, so
- 11:48Speaker 5: from seven thirty pm to one am. They're going to
- 11:51Speaker 5: close down the street to ensure that pedestrians can walk
- 11:54Speaker 5: around safely.
- 11:55Speaker 1: This makes so much sense.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Obviously, pedestrian safety has been a huge topic of conversation
- 11:59Speaker 5: around Nashale. MmpD said traffic control is going to assist
- 12:03Speaker 5: at intersections long Fourth Avenue to help transit operations and
- 12:07Speaker 5: safe crossing.
- 12:08Speaker 1: For pedestrians and things like that.
- 12:09Speaker 5: So just keep in mind Broadway Street closures around Broadway
- 12:13Speaker 5: are going to be happening every weekend from now on
- 12:15Speaker 5: seven thirty pm to one am. And AMC has revealed
- 12:19Speaker 5: the Devilwares product two specialty popcorn bucket and everyone is
- 12:23Speaker 5: losing their minds over it. I love these specialty popcorn buckets.
- 12:27Speaker 5: I love this is a thing that we're doing now.
- 12:28Speaker 5: It just makes it so much more fun to go
- 12:30Speaker 5: to the theater. This sequel is set to premiere on
- 12:33Speaker 5: April thirtieth. They have a chic top handle popcorn purse.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Oh.
- 12:38Speaker 5: I know, fans are obviously really excited about it. It's
- 12:41Speaker 5: a collectible that's going to be tied to this iconic film. Now,
- 12:44Speaker 5: if you haven't seen it, I will post a picture
- 12:46Speaker 5: on our Instagram stories at.
- 12:47Speaker 1: One O seven five of the River.
- 12:49Speaker 5: It is honestly very cool looking and it just fits
- 12:51Speaker 5: so perfectly to this movie.
- 12:54Speaker 1: I'm Ri Casanchez and those are the three things you
- 12:55Speaker 1: need to know.
- 12:56Speaker 3: I could see you carrying a popcorn purse just every day,
- 12:59Speaker 3: just films.
- 13:00Speaker 2: One person for your stuff, one person popcord all.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I actually love that idea so much.
- 13:04Speaker 6: Kevin class is in sessions sacks fact on.
- 13:11Speaker 3: All right, Zach is out today. He should be back
- 13:13Speaker 3: with us tomorrow. So I'm gonna fill in forum here
- 13:15Speaker 3: with your fact. Ricky, did you know until nineteen fifteen
- 13:18Speaker 3: it was legal to mail a baby through the US
- 13:21Speaker 3: Postal Service?
- 13:22Speaker 1: What are you saying to me, Kevin?
- 13:24Speaker 2: It was legal? It didn't last very long.
- 13:26Speaker 3: There was like a six year period where you just
- 13:28Speaker 3: had to buy some stamps for your baby hand them
- 13:30Speaker 3: over to the postal carrier. There are documented accounts of
- 13:34Speaker 3: people doing this. You need to send your baby to
- 13:36Speaker 3: Gramdmas for the day. Just get some stamps and find
- 13:38Speaker 3: the mail man.
- 13:39Speaker 1: How many stamps is a baby?
- 13:40Speaker 3: I don't think there was even like a regulation like
- 13:43Speaker 3: they just some stamps.
- 13:45Speaker 5: I don't know, just like some heavy things take like
- 13:48Speaker 5: fine stamps.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I don't think back then it did.
- 13:50Speaker 3: So just put one stamp on your baby's forehead and
- 13:52Speaker 3: give that is cheap.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah and affordable.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Okay, I'm not a post to this. I think we'll
- 13:58Speaker 3: bring it back. That's your Factor of the day.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Brought to you by Mark Strain.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Real Estate, Ricky is Zach and Mano.
- 14:05Speaker 3: In the morning on one O seven five the River,
- 14:08Speaker 3: we started doing something new today called Pick six and
- 14:10Speaker 3: twenty six. We're celebrating all of the concerts coming to
- 14:13Speaker 3: Nashville this year, and Ricky and I were having a
- 14:15Speaker 3: conversation in here about our favorite concert ever.
- 14:17Speaker 5: We love going to see anybody play live, and obviously
- 14:21Speaker 5: we have quite a few that we've.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Been to at this point.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Yeah, let's talk about your faves and our faves six one, five, seven,
- 14:28Speaker 5: three seven nine, one oh seven.
- 14:29Speaker 1: What was your favorite concert you've ever been to?
- 14:32Speaker 6: One oh seven five the River?
- 14:34Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Mano. In the morning, Ricky and.
- 14:36Speaker 3: I were talking about our favorite concerts ever in here
- 14:39Speaker 3: and we have a really cool, uh little surprise moment,
- 14:42Speaker 3: I think on the line right now, Kayla and Murphy's Borough,
- 14:45Speaker 3: who are you with?
- 14:46Speaker 8: I have my two youngest boys with me, Calvin and Branden,
- 14:51Speaker 8: and I was actually going to tell them that we're
- 14:54Speaker 8: gonna go see Posty together because they didn't know, and
- 14:58Speaker 8: so tell them how they feel about it.
- 15:00Speaker 7: You do so happy?
- 15:01Speaker 6: Are you?
- 15:02Speaker 7: Are you excited to tell them?
- 15:04Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 15:07Speaker 1: That is amazing.
- 15:08Speaker 8: It's not quite awake yet.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Is that going to be their first concert?
- 15:12Speaker 8: It is, yess going to be six and eight, which
- 15:16Speaker 8: is crazy to go see Posting alone. But they're a
- 15:18Speaker 8: big fan.
- 15:19Speaker 9: That is crazy alone.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Are our people, and so you you just told them
- 15:24Speaker 3: this morning. You're breaking the news to them right now.
- 15:26Speaker 8: Yeah. And I thought I was gonna wake them up
- 15:28Speaker 8: and get them more excited for school, but they are not.
- 15:31Speaker 8: I guess they're sy.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Oh you guys are gonna have so much fun. Caylea,
- 15:36Speaker 1: that is so exciting.
- 15:37Speaker 5: I'm excited for all of you to go to this
- 15:39Speaker 5: concert obviously going to be a memory that you're all
- 15:41Speaker 5: gonna have forever.
- 15:43Speaker 8: Yes, are you going to stop being shy and say hi.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Hi?
- 15:48Speaker 2: Yes?
- 15:52Speaker 3: Okay, so that shows what that shows?
- 15:55Speaker 8: That failed fail?
- 15:57Speaker 4: No?
- 15:57Speaker 2: I love this. This is great. That shows end of June.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Right, Caleb, this is actually reminding me. This is bringing
- 16:06Speaker 1: me back.
- 16:06Speaker 5: To being a kid and my mom used to get
- 16:08Speaker 5: so upset. You'd buy us these big expensive toys and
- 16:11Speaker 5: we would just play with the box.
- 16:12Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:14Speaker 8: I used to do the same thing with my with
- 16:15Speaker 8: my brothers, a big, old giant box.
- 16:21Speaker 1: This is a full sumple moment for.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Well, thank you for colling. I'm sure they're super excited.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You guys are gonna have a great time.
- 16:28Speaker 8: Okay, I love you.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I love you, I love you.
- 16:34Speaker 8: Yes, so cute. That's right, Thank you.
- 16:45Speaker 3: It was an unexpected little moment there, Ricky. Okay, back
- 16:48Speaker 3: on track. Here, your favorite concert ever?
- 16:50Speaker 5: I it's hard for me to pick a favorite. I
- 16:52Speaker 5: will say I did see post Malone a few years ago,
- 16:54Speaker 5: and he is a phenomenal concert.
- 16:56Speaker 1: So They're all gonna have so much fun at that.
- 16:58Speaker 5: I've seen people i'm like soaprita carpenter to like country
- 17:03Speaker 5: artists and everywhere in between.
- 17:06Speaker 1: I just love being at all of them. I don't
- 17:08Speaker 1: necessarily have.
- 17:08Speaker 2: A Favorite's not gonna pick one.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I can't pick one.
- 17:11Speaker 5: I love the feeling of being in front of live music,
- 17:14Speaker 5: whether it's downtown on Broadway at a honky tog or
- 17:18Speaker 5: if it's at a concert. That feeling of everybody singing
- 17:21Speaker 5: the same songs together and being together in that moment
- 17:24Speaker 5: is always so like freeing, and my adrenaline gets going
- 17:28Speaker 5: and I can't fall asleep when I get home.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I can't say I have a favorite. It's every single time.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I love it.
- 17:33Speaker 3: The two that always come to mind when I think
- 17:34Speaker 3: about my favorite concert Rage Against the Machine in the
- 17:37Speaker 3: nineties amazing. And then I'm a big Lollapalooza fan. That's
- 17:41Speaker 3: my favorite festival, Loalla Palouse up in Chicago. Seeing Daft
- 17:43Speaker 3: Punk at Lallapalooza, and I'm not even a huge Daft
- 17:45Speaker 3: Punk or EDM fan blew my mind.
- 17:48Speaker 5: And I always think, not expecting either of those yeah
- 17:50Speaker 5: to come out of your mouth.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Kevin those are the two that come to mind.
- 17:53Speaker 5: I was expecting like a way older response than the
- 17:57Speaker 5: one that we got.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'm impressed by both of those.
- 18:00Speaker 4: Really.
- 18:00Speaker 3: The reason we got on that's we started this new
- 18:02Speaker 3: thing called Pick six and twenty six where.
- 18:04Speaker 2: We're gonna let you if you win pick six.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Shows in Nashville in twenty twenty six, and we're gonna
- 18:09Speaker 3: send you to all six of those.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Uh, and you're like a golden ticket essentially.
- 18:12Speaker 3: Exactly never more than a half an hour away, So
- 18:14Speaker 3: like seven forty your next chance to enter to win
- 18:17Speaker 3: this And if you want to share your favorite concert
- 18:19Speaker 3: memory six one, five, seven, three seven.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Ricky Zach and Meadow in the morning, Sheila in.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Fairview, tell us about your favorite concert you've ever been to.
- 18:30Speaker 9: Probably my favorite was Janet Jackson in California Rhythm Nation,
- 18:34Speaker 9: Oh my gosh Ue nineteen ninety one. But my first
- 18:38Speaker 9: was Elvis Presley, Oh my Presley. But I do remember,
- 18:42Speaker 9: and we were pretty close to the stage.
- 18:44Speaker 3: I shaking his hips right there. Elvis in his prime
- 18:47Speaker 3: or like a little you know, like later years, no later.
- 18:50Speaker 9: Years because and this prim was my mom's age kind
- 18:53Speaker 9: of thing.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Got it.
- 18:54Speaker 5: That's okay though, you still saw somebody that like is
- 18:57Speaker 5: absolutely iconic who so many people would love to have
- 19:01Speaker 5: had that experience, to be able to see him, no
- 19:03Speaker 5: matter what the age he was, you know what I mean.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 19:06Speaker 9: Yeah, yeah it was cool. I just moved from Memphis
- 19:09Speaker 9: area three years ago to this area and I'm loving now,
- 19:12Speaker 9: like rhyme and stuff.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Yes, isn't the rhyme the coolest?
- 19:16Speaker 5: Like I've been to so many concert venues and it
- 19:18Speaker 5: is such a unique and interesting and cool concert venue
- 19:22Speaker 5: here to have here in Nashville. And I feel like
- 19:24Speaker 5: people who are here and have been here for a
- 19:26Speaker 5: long time don't realize how cool the Ryman.
- 19:28Speaker 10: Actually is, right, I mean Vid the Grenda lock a
- 19:30Speaker 10: few times, which is great too. Yes, I mean all
- 19:33Speaker 10: the stuff you have, And I'm like, you know, I
- 19:35Speaker 10: can't travel abroad this year. It looks like, so this
- 19:37Speaker 10: is gonna be like explore Nashville.
- 19:40Speaker 3: I love that, lots to explore, and yeah, those are
- 19:43Speaker 3: some iconic venues no matter where you are in the world,
- 19:44Speaker 3: you know those venues.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So yeah, we get some good.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Feel Like every weekend I find about something new to
- 19:50Speaker 5: do and I'm like, oh my god, it's NonStop.
- 19:53Speaker 9: It is I heard yelling. Don't tell me things. I'm like,
- 19:55Speaker 9: not the interesting.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Oh I love that.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Glad we can help. Thank you for listening.
- 20:00Speaker 10: Thank you have a great day.
- 20:02Speaker 9: Love you have a great one.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Bye.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Sheila has left the building. Wow, Kevin, that was an
- 20:07Speaker 2: Elvis refid. I don't even if you would get No, of.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Course I got it under a rock. I don't know.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Before your time, Ricky is before your time.
- 20:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you're before my time.
- 20:18Speaker 2: We've got pussy Cat Dolls. Take us. It's another concert
- 20:20Speaker 2: you can win your way into. Those are coming up
- 20:22Speaker 2: at the Game of the Day.
- 20:23Speaker 6: Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning on.
- 20:28Speaker 5: It's Kevin Mano's Game of the Day on one oh
- 20:30Speaker 5: seven five the River. We're playing topical trivia today in
- 20:33Speaker 5: all week for your chance to get tickets to see
- 20:35Speaker 5: the Pussycat Dolls at a sen Amphitheater on July twenty ninth.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Don't you wish your girlfriend was like Lee?
- 20:41Speaker 1: Please don't ever do that again.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Bethany and Murphy'sborough. Good morning, Welcome to the River.
- 20:46Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 20:47Speaker 3: The game is topical trivia. I don't know if you've
- 20:49Speaker 3: heard it before. If you're familiar with it. It's very straightforward.
- 20:52Speaker 3: Some questions based on things that are happening currently in
- 20:55Speaker 3: the world around us.
- 20:56Speaker 2: If you get two out of three of them, right,
- 20:57Speaker 2: you're going to the show.
- 20:58Speaker 8: Okay, sounds good.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Where's your.
- 21:01Speaker 9: Let's put it out like a seven out of ten.
- 21:04Speaker 5: Okay, that's not bad, that's not bad. But we're gonna
- 21:07Speaker 5: say ten out of ten because we're going fully in
- 21:09Speaker 5: with all the confidence in the world. Okay, Bethany, absolutely,
- 21:12Speaker 5: all right, let's go.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Your game starts right now.
- 21:16Speaker 3: Bethany who posted the oscars last night?
- 21:27Speaker 8: You know I watched like half of it before the weather.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Hit on the board.
- 21:36Speaker 2: All right, you get this, you win.
- 21:38Speaker 3: This is actually probably maybe too easy now that I'm
- 21:40Speaker 3: looking at the question what popular college sports tournament starts
- 21:44Speaker 3: this week?
- 21:48Speaker 8: Oh man, and I'm not a sports person.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Oh Kevin jinks you he said it was so easy.
- 21:54Speaker 5: Sorry, no, but I know what it is because I
- 21:58Speaker 5: remember seeing it last night.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Up Mark Madness, Hey, you got it.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Congratulations, that's two up, two down. You're going to see
- 22:07Speaker 2: the fuzzy dolls.
- 22:09Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Congratulations.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Bethany low nerve wracking there, but we're so happy you
- 22:14Speaker 5: pulled it out that was at ten out of ten
- 22:15Speaker 5: confidence level.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's what got you.
- 22:16Speaker 10: There, absolutely well, and it helps that it was Mark Mark.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's kind of an easy one, Bethany.
- 22:22Speaker 5: We're gonna put you on hold for just a second. Okay,
- 22:24Speaker 5: we got to get all your info from you.
- 22:25Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Three things you need to know, all right, all right,
- 22:29Speaker 3: a bit past eight o'clock here on this Monday morning.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 22:32Speaker 5: There's currently a police barricade on Shelby av. We don't
- 22:36Speaker 5: have all the details just yet, but we what we
- 22:38Speaker 5: do know so far is that police were responding to
- 22:40Speaker 5: a call in the area when shots were fired. This
- 22:43Speaker 5: suspect has barricaded himself or herself inside an apartment and
- 22:47Speaker 5: is refusing to leave. Their are negotiators on the scene.
- 22:51Speaker 5: SWAT officials were seen arriving to the apartment building at
- 22:54Speaker 5: around seven thirty a m.
- 22:56Speaker 1: No one has been hurt.
- 22:57Speaker 5: MmpD has asket residents a void this area at this time.
- 23:01Speaker 5: They've blocked off South fifth South fifth Street. The I
- 23:06Speaker 5: twenty four West Shelby ab exit is also closed. Fag
- 23:09Speaker 5: Olin Street is closed and blocked off that whole area.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Just try to avoid it.
- 23:14Speaker 5: As much as humanly possible right now, because obviously this
- 23:17Speaker 5: is going to They're gonna need to take their time
- 23:19Speaker 5: with this, so we will keep you updated as things
- 23:22Speaker 5: come through. SNL has announced possibly the funniest lineup for
- 23:27Speaker 5: April fourth.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Jack Black is going to host and Jack White is
- 23:31Speaker 1: going to perform.
- 23:32Speaker 2: How perfect is that?
- 23:33Speaker 1: The jokes obviously right themselves.
- 23:35Speaker 5: There are lots of comments under the announcement on their
- 23:37Speaker 5: Instagram with people saying things like, quote so together, they're
- 23:41Speaker 5: Jack Gray quote jacked up for this and then obviously
- 23:45Speaker 5: a lot of sexual puns is related to Jack as well.
- 23:48Speaker 5: I'm sure they're going to have fun with it on
- 23:50Speaker 5: the show on April fourth. Obviously it's just the most
- 23:54Speaker 5: perfect lineup that you can possibly believe, just because.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Of the name too long.
- 23:58Speaker 5: To be honest with you, I agree. New TikTok trend
- 24:01Speaker 5: alert for everybody. People are listening to an old disco
- 24:04Speaker 5: era song to manifest wealth, So Ring My Bell by
- 24:08Speaker 5: Anita A.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Ward.
- 24:09Speaker 5: It's taking over TikTok right now. I love when old
- 24:12Speaker 5: songs have a rebirth like this. But people are claiming
- 24:14Speaker 5: that the song carries a quote abundance frequency.
- 24:18Speaker 1: That can help manifest wealth and success.
- 24:20Speaker 5: So some creators are adding it to their daily routines
- 24:23Speaker 5: and saying that it's kind of brought upon good news,
- 24:28Speaker 5: job updates, business opportunities, things like that. After they've done it,
- 24:32Speaker 5: experts are saying that there's no scientific or research or
- 24:35Speaker 5: evidence that goes with this. There's nothing that says that
- 24:38Speaker 5: a specific money frequency actually exists. But music can boost
- 24:41Speaker 5: confidence and improve mindset, so there might be a link
- 24:44Speaker 5: right there. I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three
- 24:46Speaker 5: things you need to know.
- 24:47Speaker 4: One oh seven, five, Ricky zach and mannow in the morning.
- 24:52Speaker 5: Have you ever had a random thought and then ended
- 24:54Speaker 5: up hyper fixating on that random thought? It's Ricky Zachamno
- 24:59Speaker 5: in the morning on one of side and five the river.
- 25:01Speaker 5: This happens to me sometimes typically when I'm about to
- 25:03Speaker 5: fall asleep.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, I can relate to that.
- 25:05Speaker 5: There's just a random thought I have and then I
- 25:07Speaker 5: just spiral into this hyperfixation on what that thought was.
- 25:13Speaker 1: I had a recent one that I have to tell
- 25:14Speaker 1: you about.
- 25:14Speaker 3: Yemn, You're gonna play Bruno Mars and then please tell
- 25:17Speaker 3: us your most recent Ricky, your most recent thought that
- 25:20Speaker 3: you got fixated on. Couldn't sleep because you were thinking
- 25:22Speaker 3: about what we're gonna find out that blow your mind.
- 25:25Speaker 6: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the Morning on.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Ricky said just moment ago, right before that song, that
- 25:31Speaker 3: she had a thought while laying in bed, hyper fixating
- 25:34Speaker 3: on it.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Couldn't turn the brain off.
- 25:36Speaker 3: We've all been there, but she said that this, this
- 25:38Speaker 3: particular thought would blow our minds what she was focused.
- 25:41Speaker 5: On, because it doesn't make any sense why I was
- 25:43Speaker 5: hyperfixating on this. I'm asking this because or telling you
- 25:46Speaker 5: this because I want to know that I'm not alone
- 25:49Speaker 5: in this. I had this thought though about submarines. I
- 25:53Speaker 5: started to think about submarines.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Like actuals, like under the water, not sandwiches.
- 25:56Speaker 5: Not sandwiches, submarines under like, how do they flow like
- 26:00Speaker 5: that underwater without drowning?
- 26:02Speaker 2: The boats not alive? What do you mean?
- 26:04Speaker 5: What's the biggest submarine to ever exist? Can you suffocate
- 26:07Speaker 5: inside of a submarine? How much does a submarine cost?
- 26:11Speaker 5: Are there regular humans who own submarines or is it
- 26:14Speaker 5: just the military? Like my brain just spiraled and I
- 26:18Speaker 5: hyper fixated on this whole idea about submarines.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Okay, I mean those are some good questions.
- 26:23Speaker 3: That is crazy that that's the thing you would be
- 26:25Speaker 3: laying about thinking about all those questions.
- 26:27Speaker 2: But yeah, yeah, I mean I don't know the answer
- 26:29Speaker 2: to all those.
- 26:30Speaker 5: I spiraled and I had to google things, and I
- 26:32Speaker 5: had to ask people obviously on the internet, like if
- 26:34Speaker 5: they knew the answers to these things. Just so you know,
- 26:39Speaker 5: there are people who own submarines who are not.
- 26:41Speaker 1: The military, okay, I mean no idea why I know
- 26:43Speaker 1: they are.
- 26:44Speaker 3: Like private, like those didn't A bunch of people lose
- 26:46Speaker 3: their lives in that like deep sea exploration thing like
- 26:49Speaker 3: there are some private companies that do these.
- 26:51Speaker 5: But there are also just private humans who apparently own
- 26:54Speaker 5: their own submarines. For what reason, I do not know.
- 26:57Speaker 5: I think it's really just like to be able to
- 26:59Speaker 5: do it.
- 27:00Speaker 3: I guess when you have too much money, it just
- 27:02Speaker 3: you know, people spend it on the weirdest thuffs, just.
- 27:04Speaker 1: The weird things. Uh.
- 27:05Speaker 5: And also like that you could suffocate in one if
- 27:08Speaker 5: the CO two increases and displaces oxygen, So you could
- 27:12Speaker 5: die in a submarine, not by drowning there's water all
- 27:15Speaker 5: around you, but because you don't have air left anymore.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Sure that's a crazy thought, Kevin.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Well, I have no interest in ever going in a submarine.
- 27:23Speaker 1: I would go in a submarine. You would, I would?
- 27:26Speaker 1: I would, But like now.
- 27:29Speaker 5: Knowing this kind of frees you, maybe I wouldn't, But
- 27:32Speaker 5: like I just I couldn't stop thinking about it. I
- 27:34Speaker 5: was hyper fixated on submarines, why they exist, how they exist, how.
- 27:37Speaker 1: They even work.
- 27:38Speaker 5: And I just need to know that I'm not the
- 27:40Speaker 5: only person that has random thoughts that they then take
- 27:42Speaker 5: them down these spiral paths. Yeah, have you ever had
- 27:45Speaker 5: something that you've hyper fixated on that makes no sense?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 27:48Speaker 3: If if you can think of something that you have
- 27:50Speaker 3: kind of been in a similar situation with just your
- 27:52Speaker 3: brain cannot stop thinking about the six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 27:56Speaker 3: one oh seven. We want to hear what yours is.
- 27:58Speaker 3: It's just crazy. Now with techno and the internet, we
- 28:00Speaker 3: can go down these rabbit holes.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But back in the.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Day, we just you know, sat with our own thoughts.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Sat with your own thoughts.
- 28:06Speaker 3: You never got resolution if you didn't know something you

- 28:10Speaker 4: Of one Ricky, Zach and Menow in the morning.
- 28:14Speaker 5: Harry Styles hosted SNL over the weekend, and he did
- 28:17Speaker 5: a phenomenal job. Okay, every single thing that I've seen
- 28:22Speaker 5: was so good. I could have watched live because I
- 28:23Speaker 5: was traveling, but he was absolutely phenomenal. And he is
- 28:26Speaker 5: our daily double tap on one O seven five the
- 28:28Speaker 5: River today for an impersonation that he did.

- 28:35Speaker 3: But there's a comedian named Sebastian Maniscalco, and now Marcelo,
- 28:39Speaker 3: who is an SNL cast member, has done this impression
- 28:42Speaker 3: of Sebastian before.
- 28:44Speaker 2: It's great, it's so good, and now.

- 29:34Speaker 5: talks to you like this, so like. He's very well
- 29:36Speaker 5: known for those specific things that he does, and Marcella
- 29:39Speaker 5: Hernandez does a phenomenal job of impersonating him. I was
- 29:43Speaker 5: not expecting Harry Styles to do so well.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Not at all shocking, so good. It was so good.
- 29:48Speaker 3: I loved it so much. That's today's Daily Devil tap.
