- 1:31Speaker 1: popcorn moment, Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's get
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's the story you need to hear to believe. Then
- 1:37Speaker 1: grab your popcorn, because there is more. I've got a
- 1:40Speaker 1: couple things for you. It was Scott Bessett, the Treasury
- 1:43Speaker 1: Secretary who held the press briefing yesterday. Caroline Levitt had
- 1:48Speaker 1: a baby, and so she's been out, and so you know,
- 1:52Speaker 1: they've had people filling in uh for the White House
- 1:57Speaker 1: press briefing, and of course the fill ins have been
- 1:59Speaker 1: the Secretary of State and now the Secretary of the
- 2:01Speaker 1: Treasury and the Vice president. You know there's a story
- 2:05Speaker 1: in here that no one's talking about, which is are
- 2:09Speaker 1: you kidding me? These are They don't have a deputy
- 2:14Speaker 1: Comms director or somebody else filling in, They've got the
- 2:18Speaker 1: whole cabinet filling in. It is quite incredible how they're
- 2:24Speaker 1: doing this and how are they just they'll answer questions
- 2:29Speaker 1: when we talk. You could not have gotten anybody in
- 2:31Speaker 1: the Biden administration to tell you anything. They wouldn't even
- 2:34Speaker 1: admit that Joe Biden didn't know where he was. You
- 2:37Speaker 1: think Pete booda judge, could have handled a press briefing.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Not a chance. But there's Scott Besson's and he gotten
- 2:46Speaker 1: some conversations that I don't think were super helpful for him.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We've had sustained and resilient GDP growth. Real GDP has
- 2:53Speaker 2: risen two point six percent over the past four quarters.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Atlanta Fed's GDP now predicts three point zero eight percent
- 3:01Speaker 2: for this quarter second quarter. The US energy dominant part
- 3:07Speaker 2: of our resilience films from our energy dominance. Natural gas
- 3:11Speaker 2: is down as my belief and the future's market is
- 3:15Speaker 2: showing US oil will be lower than pre conflict levels.
- 3:18Speaker 2: We are more resilient to energy price fluctuations. Due to
- 3:21Speaker 2: President Trump's energy dominance and deregulatory agenda. The United States
- 3:26Speaker 2: is now the world's largest energy exporter.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Now that's true, we are the largest energy exporter. But
- 3:33Speaker 1: don't promise people lower gas prices. Don't don't. Don't do it.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Don't say that oil will be that. Don't don't. This
- 3:43Speaker 1: is recording. Please listen to me. Stop doing that, sir.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You're not the only one. Stop doing it. The way
- 3:52Speaker 1: this comes down is definitive action against the regime to
- 3:58Speaker 1: thwart any ability they have to create issue within the strait.
- 4:03Speaker 1: That's how it's done. Don't make promises and timelines. Don't
- 4:09Speaker 1: do it. But he got into a second subject, which,
- 4:14Speaker 1: all right, let me play it first.
- 4:16Speaker 2: The United States has never exported so much energy or
- 4:20Speaker 2: produced so much energy. Main street prosperity. The average four
- 4:24Speaker 2: one k is up almost thirty thousand dollars since President
- 4:27Speaker 2: Trump's inauguration. President Trump rix has already saved Americans over
- 4:31Speaker 2: six hundred million dollars. I'm sure all of you will
- 4:34Speaker 2: want to report on that. And the unemployment rate remains
- 4:38Speaker 2: a little at four point three percent.
- 4:40Speaker 1: We've had sy I mean we should be clear. It's
- 4:44Speaker 1: very cool, and he answered the questions. And this administration
- 4:48Speaker 1: is like here we are. We're not shining away from
- 4:50Speaker 1: anything main street prosperity. With four oh one k's being up,
- 4:57Speaker 1: it cannot be said without tempering it in terms of
- 5:00Speaker 1: what their costs are, the cost of goods, the cost
- 5:04Speaker 1: of food. Talk to restaurant owners about what they're paying
- 5:08Speaker 1: in their wholesale costs. This is a rough moment and
- 5:14Speaker 1: it should not go unrecognized that the four to one
- 5:19Speaker 1: k is up. The doubt is well over fifty. It
- 5:23Speaker 1: is moving in that direction. But don't call it mainStreet prosperity.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Insurance costs her up, the food cost her up for restaurants,
- 5:32Speaker 1: or the cost of goods on everything is up. Don't
- 5:36Speaker 1: don't think everything is great on Midwest main Street. Recognize
- 5:40Speaker 1: that there are issues. I don't want them making this mistake.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But what we just engaged in was okay. Stuff we
- 5:47Speaker 1: agree with, stuff that we disagree with, stuff we have
- 5:49Speaker 1: questions about, but we appreciate the data and the openness.
- 5:53Speaker 1: There is debate in these things, and debate and policy.
- 5:58Speaker 1: What the Democratic Party provides is absolute madness. This is
- 6:04Speaker 1: the governor of New Mexico. This is Michelle Lujan Grisham.
- 6:12Speaker 1: I play it for you.
- 6:14Speaker 2: If women Democratic women just show up and vote, we're good.
- 6:19Speaker 1: We don't need any of the men. Do you see
- 6:25Speaker 1: the difference? She is there, This is the DNC Rules
- 6:30Speaker 1: and Bylaws Committee meeting, and she makes this statement, why
- 6:34Speaker 1: do Democrats hate men so much? They hate men? We
- 6:39Speaker 1: don't need men, toxic masculinity. And we wonder why young
- 6:42Speaker 1: men come across and will see themselves as conservative and Republicans.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I just think they shouldn't see themselves as Tucker Candice, Megan,
- 6:50Speaker 1: Kelly acolytes. There's the issue that's my concern. But of
- 6:55Speaker 1: course they're leaving the Democratic Party. Who wants to be
- 6:57Speaker 1: around her? Don't need you men, men and women. We
- 7:03Speaker 1: need you both. Eighteen year olds, twenty five year olds,
- 7:07Speaker 1: thirty five year olds, fifty five year olds. We need
- 7:09Speaker 1: you all. Yes, we need the boomers too. We should
- 7:15Speaker 1: be asking for the vote, showing why were the better
- 7:18Speaker 1: choice for the vote, and then working hard to keep
- 7:20Speaker 1: the vote every dang day. And Democrats are like, ah,
- 7:26Speaker 1: we don't need men. Where does that get you? Get
- 7:33Speaker 1: you nowhere? But it is exactly who they are. They
- 7:37Speaker 1: hate men, which is why their best examples of men
- 7:41Speaker 1: are James tell Rico, Harry Sissen, and Tim Walls. Yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 1: if women, I just named three people I wouldn't want
- 7:53Speaker 1: my boys to grow up to be and you wouldn't
- 7:57Speaker 1: want your boys to grow up to be them either,
- 7:59Speaker 1: because do you want your boys to grow up to
- 8:01Speaker 1: be men?
