Tara Palmeri Says Epstein Question Got Her Booted From the RNC (9/14/26) · The Vault: The Epstein Files

Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Yesterday we touched a little bit on Tara
• 0:07
Speaker 1: Palmieri and the fact that she was kicked out of
• 0:10
Speaker 1: the RNC. And it wasn't only Tara Palmieri, but it
• 0:14
Speaker 1: was also a couple of Epstein survivors that were with her.
• 0:18
Speaker 1: And considering the PR problem they already have when it
• 0:21
Speaker 1: comes to Epstein, not exactly the best idea that they've
• 0:25
Speaker 1: ever come up with. Like, can you imagine that security decision?
• 0:29
Speaker 1: Who made that call? who was like, you know what?
• 0:32
Speaker 1: She's asking questions about Epstein. She has to go. On
• 0:35
Speaker 1: what planet is that acceptable? And if you think that
• 0:38
Speaker 1: their opponents, the Democrats, aren't going to latch onto it,
• 0:41
Speaker 1: you're crazy. They will. I mean, look at what's going
• 0:44
Speaker 1: on down in Texas. Can you imagine if the Democrats
• 0:48
Speaker 1: flip that seat? Talk about bedlam. And I know they
• 0:51
Speaker 1: don't want to admit it, but this topic is going
• 0:53
Speaker 1: to cause them great harm during the midterms. And about
• 0:56
Speaker 1: a year ago, I told you that the Senate was
• 0:58
Speaker 1: in jeopardy for them too. And people were like, no way.
• 1:02
Speaker 1: It's impossible that all those seats get flipped. Well, I
• 1:05
Speaker 1: told you back then that it was going to be
• 1:07
Speaker 1: an issue. And here we are. And that's because it's
• 1:10
Speaker 1: an issue. And it's only going to get worse for
• 1:12
Speaker 1: the GOP with this kind of bullshit. And the Democrats,
• 1:16
Speaker 1: they're going to latch right on like they're doing. And
• 1:18
Speaker 1: they're going to try and ride this bad boy all
• 1:19
Speaker 1: the way home. Now, the one thing I'll caution the
• 1:23
Speaker 1: Democrats about is don't try and just use this as
• 1:26
Speaker 1: some kind of ploy. Because you're going to be held accountable.
• 1:30
Speaker 1: If you win office, don't think that everything just ends
• 1:33
Speaker 1: and we just go away and we don't continue to
• 1:35
Speaker 1: demand accountability. So you better deliver. And if you don't deliver,
• 1:40
Speaker 1: take a look at what's happening with MAGA. Because that's
• 1:43
Speaker 1: going to be your fate, especially on this podcast. Because
• 1:46
Speaker 1: I don't give a damn about either of those political parties.
• 1:49
Speaker 1: Neither of those parties has ever done shit for me.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: In fact, they make our lives worse. They divide us. They,
• 1:56
Speaker 1: you know, get us grouped into teams and they hurt
• 1:58
Speaker 1: us wherever they want us to go. Meanwhile, we have
• 2:01
Speaker 1: real problems that if we came together, we'd be able
• 2:04
Speaker 1: to solve some of them. But just like with big pharma,
• 2:06
Speaker 1: there's no money in the cure, is there? Today we
• 2:10
Speaker 1: have an article from Newsweek and the headline, Reporter kicked
• 2:13
Speaker 1: out of RNC over Epstein Files question. Imagine being so
• 2:17
Speaker 1: soft that somebody asks a question and you get so
• 2:20
Speaker 1: booty hurt that you gotta throw them out, call security
• 2:24
Speaker 1: to deal with these couple of women. Pathetic. Honestly, pathetic.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: This article was authored by Alice Gibbs. Journalist Tara Palmieri
• 2:34
Speaker 1: claims that she was removed from a Republican National Committee
• 2:37
Speaker 1: event and had her press credential revoked after questioning a
• 2:41
Speaker 1: Republican congressional candidate about the handling of files connected to
• 2:44
Speaker 1: convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Congressman.
• 2:49
Speaker 1: Is that too much of a hot topic issue for you?
• 2:52
Speaker 1: Maybe we should talk a little bit more about what?
• 2:54
Speaker 1: I don't know, the Golden Age? Or how great things
• 2:56
Speaker 1: are going over in Iran? Maybe we should talk about that.
• 3:00
Speaker 1: These people are so soft and so weak that they
• 3:03
Speaker 1: have no business holding public office. And you know how
• 3:07
Speaker 1: I always tell you, well, I'm not an expert in
• 3:08
Speaker 1: that topic or this topic or whatever. Well, this is
• 3:12
Speaker 1: a topic I am an expert on, okay? You know,
• 3:16
Speaker 1: went to school for it, got a degree, the whole thing.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: So when we're talking about political parties, we're talking about
• 3:22
Speaker 1: this bullshit you see on the campaign trail, and we're
• 3:26
Speaker 1: talking about the corrupt nature of these people and how
• 3:29
Speaker 1: they don't give a fuck about you I'm talking about
• 3:31
Speaker 1: it from a place of experience. Talking to you about
• 3:35
Speaker 1: it as somebody who knows. The vast majority of these people,
• 3:40
Speaker 1: it's not about love of country. It's not about love
• 3:42
Speaker 1: of district or about what they think they can do
• 3:45
Speaker 1: to help their neighbor out. It's all self-serving. What can
• 3:49
Speaker 1: I do to increase my own stature in my club?
• 3:53
Speaker 1: And if that means, you know, backing up the president
• 3:56
Speaker 1: when it comes to Epstein, that's what they'll do. Bunch
• 3:59
Speaker 1: of sick sons of bitches who are all for sale.
• 4:02
Speaker 1: Whether it's to the administration, to a foreign adversary, or
• 4:06
Speaker 1: somebody else, the point remains. Palmieri said she was covering
• 4:12
Speaker 1: the Republican midterm convention at the American Airlines Center in
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Dallas when security personnel approached her shortly after an interview
• 4:19
Speaker 1: with Robert Burke, a Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts,
• 4:24
Speaker 1: 8th Congressional District. Massachusetts again, huh? The worst state in
• 4:28
Speaker 1: the Union. I'm sorry if you're from Mass., and that
• 4:31
Speaker 1: offends you, but your state is a shithole. An absolute dump.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: And if you want to get away with a crime,
• 4:37
Speaker 1: that's the state to go to. Ask Karen Reid. Ask
• 4:40
Speaker 1: Lindsey Clancy. Ask Whitey Bulger. And I usually don't have
• 4:45
Speaker 1: anything bad to say about juries, right? I try to
• 4:47
Speaker 1: avoid that, but since that cat's out of the bag
• 4:50
Speaker 1: up there, the whole entire jury was pretty much corrupt, okay?
• 4:53
Speaker 1: You want to talk about the holdout juror? What about
• 4:56
Speaker 1: the free Karen Reid lady that was running her fat
• 4:58
Speaker 1: yap all the time? and fucking posting during the trial.
• 5:02
Speaker 1: Here's an idea, stay off the internet, cat mom, go
• 5:04
Speaker 1: have some wine, and relax. And unfortunately, the state is
• 5:07
Speaker 1: filled with people like that. Every time you turn around,
• 5:11
Speaker 1: when there's a case in Massachusetts, out come the clowns,
• 5:15
Speaker 1: and it can all be traced back to the free
• 5:17
Speaker 1: Karen Reid bullshit, which was all made up anyway. Look,
• 5:21
Speaker 1: the reason Karen Reid got off is because the law
• 5:23
Speaker 1: enforcement officials who were involved in that investigation were terrible.
• 5:29
Speaker 1: Like I told you during that trial, I don't like
• 5:31
Speaker 1: Karen Reed one bit. And the circus around her is
• 5:34
Speaker 1: even more off-putting. But they didn't have the goods to
• 5:38
Speaker 1: convict her. And that's what I said on the podcast.
• 5:43
Speaker 1: If you can't convince me, past reasonable doubt, my emotions
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: don't come into it. I don't care if I like
• 5:49
Speaker 1: you personally or not. This is about the evidence. And
• 5:53
Speaker 1: up in Massachusetts, they did a piss-poor job investigating Karen Reed.
• 5:57
Speaker 1: And I stand by what I said previously with that.
• 6:00
Speaker 1: If that would have happened in just about any other state,
• 6:03
Speaker 1: Karen Reid would be in prison right now. The problem
• 6:06
Speaker 1: in Canton was the investigation. You can't show up with
• 6:11
Speaker 1: red solo cups and collect evidence in those and expect
• 6:14
Speaker 1: a judge to be okay with it or a fucking jury.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: I mean, come on. But that's the Massachusetts way, isn't it?
• 6:22
Speaker 1: According to Palmieri, she entered the venue at approximately 2.05pm
• 6:26
Speaker 1: with her producer and three survivors of Epstein's abuse. Palmieri
• 6:30
Speaker 1: said she had a media credential while each person accompanying
• 6:33
Speaker 1: her had obtained a guest pass and been admitted to
• 6:36
Speaker 1: the convention. Why wouldn't you want them to speak, even
• 6:39
Speaker 1: if you don't agree with what they have to say?
• 6:41
Speaker 1: You can't be an adult and hear it out? You're
• 6:44
Speaker 1: an elected official. You better be able to take some
• 6:47
Speaker 1: of that sand. Palmieri posted footage of part of the
• 6:51
Speaker 1: encounter with security on X and described the circumstances surrounding
• 6:55
Speaker 1: her removal in her Substack newsletter, The Red Letter. In
• 6:59
Speaker 1: a later video, Palmieri said officials did not identify a
• 7:02
Speaker 1: specific rule that she had violated. Of course not. They
• 7:06
Speaker 1: can do whatever they want. It's their convention, right? The
• 7:10
Speaker 1: RNC has not publicly commented on Palmieri's claims of removal.
• 7:13
Speaker 1: Newsweek reached out to Palmieri, Burke, and the RNC by
• 7:17
Speaker 1: email for comment. What happened to Tara Palmieri at the
• 7:20
Speaker 1: RNC convention? Tara Palmieri is an American political journalist and
• 7:24
Speaker 1: commentator best known for covering the White House, Congress, and
• 7:28
Speaker 1: national politics. She has worked for major outlets, including ABC News, Politico, CNN,
• 7:34
Speaker 1: and the New York Post. Palmieri said she introduced herself
• 7:37
Speaker 1: to Burke as an independent journalist before beginning the interview.
• 7:41
Speaker 1: She also disclosed that survivors of Epstein's abuse were accompanying
• 7:45
Speaker 1: her and described the subject she wanted to raise. That's
• 7:48
Speaker 1: a tough question. Isn't that his job as a candidate? Like,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: you think this is tough? What happens when somebody comes
• 7:55
Speaker 1: to you and tells you that an American operator has
• 7:58
Speaker 1: been captured on the battlefield? Now you gotta make some
• 8:01
Speaker 1: hard decisions about policy. You gonna be able to do that, Congressman?
• 8:07
Speaker 1: What a bunch of soft-ass punks. Oh no, you asked
• 8:09
Speaker 1: some hard questions. We have to throw you out now.
• 8:13
Speaker 1: According to Palmieri's account, Burke called Epstein a great topic...
• 8:16
Speaker 1: and said the public needed to know what happened from
• 8:19
Speaker 1: the beginning. Well, okay. Palmieri said she asked Burke why
• 8:23
Speaker 1: more records had not been released, why there had been
• 8:26
Speaker 1: no further prosecutions beyond Epstein and Maxwell, and whether he
• 8:30
Speaker 1: would push for additional disclosures if elected. She reported that
• 8:34
Speaker 1: Burke said he would support releasing the files. Well, that's good.
• 8:38
Speaker 1: Nothing wrong with that. But will he go through with it?
• 8:43
Speaker 1: How many times have we heard these people say that
• 8:44
Speaker 1: they're going to do this or that, and then not
• 8:47
Speaker 1: do it once they get elected. One of the survivors
• 8:51
Speaker 1: then told Burke that the issue should be viewed as
• 8:53
Speaker 1: a human rights matter, rather than a partisan political dispute,
• 8:56
Speaker 1: according to Paul Mary's Substack Post. Well, I agree with
• 9:00
Speaker 1: some of that. It certainly shouldn't be looked at as
• 9:03
Speaker 1: a political dispute. But this is more wide-ranging than just
• 9:08
Speaker 1: a human rights matter. And people need to wrap their
• 9:11
Speaker 1: minds around it. This is not just about the sex trafficking.
• 9:15
Speaker 1: Of course, that's the most nefarious, disgusting part of it,
• 9:19
Speaker 1: and the people that engaged in that shit should have
• 9:21
Speaker 1: a vacation trip set up to the volcano. But this
• 9:25
Speaker 1: is much more than just human trafficking. And if you
• 9:29
Speaker 1: want to hold people accountable, there's one way to do it.
• 9:32
Speaker 1: Follow the money. Palmieri said the conversation lasted approximately eight
• 9:39
Speaker 1: minutes and ended with Burke shaking her hand and giving
• 9:42
Speaker 1: the group his card. In her accompanying video, she characterized
• 9:45
Speaker 1: the exchange as a great dialogue and said Burke invited
• 9:48
Speaker 1: them to speak again. So who threw them out? Who
• 9:52
Speaker 1: got them tossed? Was it somebody else? Did somebody else
• 9:54
Speaker 1: see the interview and decide that they're going to go
• 9:57
Speaker 1: snitch to security or whatever? Palmieri said at least three
• 10:01
Speaker 1: security personnel approached the group shortly after the interview ended.
• 10:05
Speaker 1: She reported that security asked whether they were carrying signs,
• 10:09
Speaker 1: which the group denied. Footage shared by Palmieri shows her
• 10:12
Speaker 1: pointing to the group's clear bags and telling security they
• 10:15
Speaker 1: had no signs. When a security guard said they were
• 10:19
Speaker 1: not in the area designated for the media, Palmieri responded
• 10:22
Speaker 1: that journalists were allowed to speak to guests. We're allowed
• 10:25
Speaker 1: to talk to people. That's why we're here. We're media.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: Palmieri can be heard saying in the footage, Palmieri said
• 10:31
Speaker 1: that she repeatedly asked why the group was being removed,
• 10:34
Speaker 1: but was told that her press credential could be revoked.
• 10:38
Speaker 1: She said security did not provide a more detailed explanation
• 10:41
Speaker 1: or identify a convention rule that she had broken. Well, unfortunately,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: they don't have to do that. Once they rent that space,
• 10:48
Speaker 1: it's a private event, and they can throw out whoever
• 10:50
Speaker 1: they want. Now, it doesn't make it right, but them's
• 10:53
Speaker 1: the rules. Palmieri and her producer were escorted toward the
• 10:57
Speaker 1: exit while the survivors were also directed out of the venue,
• 11:00
Speaker 1: according to her account. Palmieri said she tripped and fell
• 11:04
Speaker 1: on stairs as security escorted her from the building. Well,
• 11:08
Speaker 1: that's nice. Usher this lady out and try and throw
• 11:11
Speaker 1: her down the stairs, huh? Bunch of tough guys. By
• 11:15
Speaker 1: approximately 2.40pm, around 35 minutes after entering the venue, Palmieri
• 11:20
Speaker 1: said the group was outside the security barricade. She reported
• 11:23
Speaker 1: being told that she'd been barred from the facility and
• 11:26
Speaker 1: could be arrested for trespassing if she tried to return.
• 11:30
Speaker 1: What the fuck are you guys even doing right now?
• 11:32
Speaker 1: You're gonna be trespassed and arrested? Oh, we're gonna send
• 11:36
Speaker 1: ICE after you. Bunch of jerk-offs, dude, I swear to God.
• 11:41
Speaker 1: I'm a journalist. I just wanted to ask him, Palmieri
• 11:44
Speaker 1: said in her video. adding that viewers could evaluate the
• 11:46
Speaker 1: recorded exchanges for themselves. Palmieri wrote that she subsequently asked
• 11:51
Speaker 1: an RNC official what rules she had violated, why she
• 11:54
Speaker 1: had been removed, and why her credential had been revoked.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: The two-day gathering on September 9th and 10th was the
• 12:02
Speaker 1: RNC's first midterm convention and was intended to build support
• 12:06
Speaker 1: for Republican candidates before the November 3rd election. Yeah, they're
• 12:10
Speaker 1: going to need more than that. Tell you that much.
• 12:13
Speaker 1: The RNC had expected more than 20,000 people to attend,
• 12:16
Speaker 1: which would make the event larger than the party's presidential
• 12:19
Speaker 1: nominating convention in Milwaukee, according to CBS News Texas. Among
• 12:25
Speaker 1: the notable moments was a surprise pre-recorded appearance by Democratic
• 12:29
Speaker 1: Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman, who has introduced his Republican colleague,
• 12:34
Speaker 1: Senator Dave McCormick. Trump also used his nearly two-hour first-night
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: address to propose giving every U.S. adult citizen a $ 5, 000
• 12:42
Speaker 1: payment if Republicans retain control of Congress, well, that shows
• 12:47
Speaker 1: you how confident he is that they're going to retain control.
• 12:51
Speaker 1: They're not going to retain control. I think it's almost
• 12:55
Speaker 1: a foregone conclusion that the House flips, and as far
• 12:58
Speaker 1: as the Senate goes, there's some very, very hotly contested races.
• 13:02
Speaker 1: And when I put my political science hat on, I'm
• 13:04
Speaker 1: telling you right now, Paxton's in jeopardy. Now, does that
• 13:08
Speaker 1: mean he's going to lose? No. But some of the
• 13:11
Speaker 1: signs I'm seeing are pretty discouraging for Mr. Paxton. And
• 13:15
Speaker 1: I think that as things move forward, if Tallarico can
• 13:18
Speaker 1: capture just a few more percent, things are going to
• 13:22
Speaker 1: get real, real interesting down in Texas. And as far
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: as a $ 5, 000 payment, shit, I'll take it. I'm not
• 13:29
Speaker 1: going to sit here and be one of those people
• 13:30
Speaker 1: acting like he's not going to take it. If everybody
• 13:32
Speaker 1: else is picking the bones clean, let me get my cut.
• 13:37
Speaker 1: The convention generated further headlines on its second day when
• 13:40
Speaker 1: Trump led attendees in a mock pledge to vote in
• 13:43
Speaker 1: the November midterms, joking that supporters should cheat like hell,
• 13:47
Speaker 1: as he repeatedly claimed that the Democrats do. Ah, nothing
• 13:50
Speaker 1: like the president talking stupid. Oh, well, the Democrats do it,
• 13:54
Speaker 1: so we should too. Let's all engage in the corruption. Meanwhile,
• 13:59
Speaker 1: during Vice President J.D. Vance's keynote speech on Thursday, members
• 14:03
Speaker 1: of the crowd chanted J.D. 48, a reference to a potential...
• 14:07
Speaker 1: presidential bid in 2028. The convention also featured tributes to
• 14:12
Speaker 1: conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the first anniversary of his assassination.
• 14:18
Speaker 1: And there's people out there that call that shit Kirkiversary, like,
• 14:21
Speaker 1: what's wrong with you, honestly? I truly need to understand.
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: What's wrong with people's brains? I don't really care about
• 14:29
Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk one way or the other. Certainly wasn't a
• 14:31
Speaker 1: fan of his while he was alive. But does that
• 14:34
Speaker 1: mean you have to run around and be disrespectful? do
• 14:38
Speaker 1: dumb shit like make a video where you're like getting
• 14:40
Speaker 1: shot in the neck. I find it to be stupid, honestly.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: I don't even find it to be offensive. I just
• 14:45
Speaker 1: find it to be dumb and pointless. And it takes
• 14:48
Speaker 1: away from any conversation that you're really trying to have.
• 14:51
Speaker 1: I know this is going to come as a shock
• 14:52
Speaker 1: to some people out there, but you know, there's going
• 14:54
Speaker 1: to be people you disagree with and you're not allowed
• 14:57
Speaker 1: to kill them. Palmieri's removal occurred amid continued pressure over
• 15:02
Speaker 1: the government's handling of records connected to Epstein and whether
• 15:05
Speaker 1: all legally required material has been disclosed. The Department of
• 15:09
Speaker 1: Justice released more than 3 million pages, approximately 2,000 videos,
• 15:13
Speaker 1: and 180,000 images in January after Congress pressed the Epstein-Files
• 15:18
Speaker 1: Transparency Act. Attorney General Todd Blanch said the department had
• 15:23
Speaker 1: completed its review, but lawmakers and journalists have continued to
• 15:26
Speaker 1: challenge redactions and the withholding of some material. Well, that's
• 15:31
Speaker 1: because they're lying to us still. And all of these
• 15:34
Speaker 1: documents should be released. More than 100 lawmakers have signed
• 15:42
Speaker 1: a discharge petition backing Massey's latest bill, which would expand
• 15:45
Speaker 1: legal avenues for challenging the DOJ's handling of the records
• 15:49
Speaker 1: and could eventually force a vote in the House. Not
• 15:52
Speaker 1: gonna happen. Massey's on his way out. They called a recess.
• 15:56
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I have no faith. The Justice Department's
• 16:00
Speaker 1: online Epstein Library states that officials applied redactions to protect survivors,
• 16:05
Speaker 1: private individuals, and legally restricted information. It also acknowledges that
• 16:09
Speaker 1: the volume of material created a risk that sensitive personal
• 16:13
Speaker 1: information could inadvertently appear in the disclosures. Yeah, only if
• 16:17
  Speaker 1: you're a survivor. Not if you're one of Jeffrey Epstein's
• 16:20
Speaker 1: fucking buddies, right? One of his Eskimo brothers. Questions about
• 16:25
Speaker 1: the records had already surfaced around the Republican convention before
