- 2:38Speaker 2: And so thank you in he thank you.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Now before we get into this scintillate it's going to
- 2:46Speaker 1: be a scintillating recap. I do have to ask you, Beatrice,
- 2:50Speaker 1: did you have any takeaways?
- 2:52Speaker 3: My takeaway A two every one. I'm bored.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Number two, Robin's backyard looks real nice. Yeah, I'm jealous
- 2:59Speaker 2: of that.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's as if they sunk some money into it.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and now we have to do all of our
- 3:04Speaker 2: like fake family gatherings and stuff in Robin's backyard.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Well, that's why we had to pay for it, because
- 3:09Speaker 1: we want to shoot these scenes or in my backyard
- 3:13Speaker 1: and enrich me in the process of doing so.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Isn't she delightful?
- 3:18Speaker 3: So delightful?
- 3:19Speaker 1: My only takeaway is that I don't understand this particular episode. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 1: I don't know why we're doing it. It felt like a
- 3:27Speaker 1: very filler episode. My prediction is that this is going
- 3:31Speaker 1: to be a short recap. Yes, I don't know what
- 3:33Speaker 1: we're going to talk about. The best thing that came
- 3:36Speaker 1: out of this episode was Robin saying when she first
- 3:40Speaker 1: saw Cody Brown, she just assumed he was an idiot.
- 3:45Speaker 3: She assumed right, Yes, you were right the first time, Robin.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, but you was chasing that money, weren't you. She
- 3:51Speaker 1: was chasing that money.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Yes, she was, girl.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And so, without further ado, let's get into today's recap
- 3:59Speaker 1: of Sister Wise season seven, episode eight, entitled every Brown
- 4:04Speaker 1: Revealed every single one.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Everyone.
- 4:07Speaker 1: When they say every Beatrice, they mean.
- 4:10Speaker 3: It, every single one, as if we haven't seen them.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I know, it's wild.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Well, we start off the episode with the family planning
- 4:16Speaker 2: to make like a little scrap book, because I guess
- 4:19Speaker 2: they've made several scrap books previously, but Robin hasn't been
- 4:23Speaker 2: included and she really wants to be included in this one.
- 4:26Speaker 2: So they're making a family scrap book, which I guess
- 4:29Speaker 2: is like cute or whatever.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Who's making Is this a show?
- 4:33Speaker 1: I don't know you call this a show?
- 4:35Speaker 3: This is content, I guess.
- 4:37Speaker 1: Okay, So we're gonna do a scrap book, and then
- 4:40Speaker 1: we are also going to have a garden party in
- 4:44Speaker 1: Robin's enriched backyard, and we're going to have a slide
- 4:48Speaker 1: show where we're going to go through some of the
- 4:50Speaker 1: pictures from the scrap book and just remind ourselves of
- 4:54Speaker 1: how far we've come and how this family has totally
- 4:57Speaker 1: fallen off since Robin joined totally, and we'll have pictures
- 5:00Speaker 1: to aid us.
- 5:01Speaker 2: And I'm just like, you know, I have a crazy family.
- 5:06Speaker 2: We never did any of this kind of stuff. It's
- 5:08Speaker 2: kind of cringey. I wonder if the kids felt like,
- 5:10Speaker 2: why are we here? Why are we in the backyard?
- 5:13Speaker 1: Probably why can't.
- 5:14Speaker 2: I go get some frozen yogurt with my friends?
- 5:16Speaker 1: Especially the older children. Yeah, you've been doing this for
- 5:18Speaker 1: multiple seasons.
- 5:19Speaker 3: And are fun of it. It's cringe, it is.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And so we start off the slide show with like
- 5:25Speaker 2: a montage of each of the three og wives, and
- 5:29Speaker 2: then stories about how they met Cody, which we've heard
- 5:33Speaker 2: a one.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Million times, million times over and over it over again.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And by this time, they also wrote their first book, Yeah,
- 5:44Speaker 1: being Sister Wives or whatever it was called. Then Christine
- 5:47Speaker 1: wrote a book in twenty twenty five, and she rehashed
- 5:50Speaker 1: all the same shit in that book. It's not like
- 5:52Speaker 1: we don't know this information.
- 5:54Speaker 3: It's wild.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So Cody and Mary met first, they got married fast.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Then Cody and Janelle got married because Janel's a home record.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Then she had a bunch of kids, and then Christine
- 6:06Speaker 2: and Cody met and he was repulsed by her, but
- 6:09Speaker 2: at this point were pretending like he's still attracted to
- 6:12Speaker 2: her and like he still loves her. They have like
- 6:14Speaker 2: a little like discussion about Christine pressuring Cody because she
- 6:19Speaker 2: was shamelessly flirting with him, and then he, I guess
- 6:24Speaker 2: applied pressure too. We're supposed to believe that he was
- 6:27Speaker 2: flirting with Christine.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Well, Christine wants us to believe that Cody in some
- 6:32Speaker 1: way pursued her. But Cody, even on the couch, is like,
- 6:35Speaker 1: that's not how that happened. Apparently you fell in love
- 6:38Speaker 1: with me and you got the lightning bolt in your pussy,
- 6:42Speaker 1: and the next thing I know, we've got six children together.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yikes, big yikes. And then Janelle and Cody's relationship like, oh,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it's very pragmatic, we're not romantic. We've heard that before.
- 6:54Speaker 3: We have.
- 6:55Speaker 1: What I found interesting here was there was like a
- 6:57Speaker 1: little bit of the fudging of the timeline a little bit.
- 7:00Speaker 1: When Janelle talks about getting her own lightning bolt in
- 7:04Speaker 1: her pussy when she first saw Cody, he walked into
- 7:07Speaker 1: a room. I just have to assume she was married
- 7:10Speaker 1: to her first husband at that time. Yeah, because Mary
- 7:13Speaker 1: said that she knew Janelle for a couple of years
- 7:16Speaker 1: before she met or married Cody. Like it just is
- 7:19Speaker 1: all it's model intersecting. But I just to have a
- 7:23Speaker 1: feeling that Janelle was lusting for Cody. She would day
- 7:27Speaker 1: with his feathered, blonde saw Mormon hair.
- 7:30Speaker 2: She was though, because she wanted all of her kids
- 7:33Speaker 2: to have Cody's build.
- 7:34Speaker 3: That's right now we know.
- 7:36Speaker 2: And then we discussed their double life when the OG
- 7:40Speaker 2: three and Cody had to hide their love for one
- 7:43Speaker 2: another and their little trailer in Wyoming, and they had
- 7:47Speaker 2: to refer to Janelle and Christina's sisters, And I think
- 7:50Speaker 2: Janelle's something like they probably thought we just slept around.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Well because she repeatedly got pregnant and so did Christine,
- 7:57Speaker 1: and so she just assumed that theirs assumed that she
- 8:01Speaker 1: was a hope. Probably she's always pregnant. Who's knocking this
- 8:04Speaker 1: lady up for she's hanging out with that Cody Brown though, isn't.
- 8:07Speaker 2: She this single mom's having all these kids. And then
- 8:11Speaker 2: we go into like a montage of every single child
- 8:15Speaker 2: in the Brown family, we start off with Logan because
- 8:18Speaker 2: he's the first born, and we show a montage of
- 8:21Speaker 2: him being completely parentified as a teenager.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Which Janelle kind of addresses. She does a little bit
- 8:27Speaker 1: on the couch and she's like, you know, I kind
- 8:29Speaker 1: of worry about Logan because he never really had an
- 8:32Speaker 1: opportunity as a teenager to do fun things or even
- 8:35Speaker 1: go outside because he's waking up an hour early before
- 8:39Speaker 1: all the other kids, to get them up for breakfast,
- 8:42Speaker 1: to cook them breakfast, to get them dressed, and get
- 8:45Speaker 1: them out the door in Lehigh. By the time this
- 8:48Speaker 1: young man has an opportunity to go to college, there's
- 8:51Speaker 1: nothing you can do to keep him from running out
- 8:54Speaker 1: of that house for real. And Janelle, you know that
- 8:57Speaker 1: you parentified this kid. You don't know the term because
- 9:00Speaker 1: you dumb, Yeah, but you know what you did is wrong.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And then we go right into Aspen and Christine did
- 9:05Speaker 1: the very same thing with Aspen most.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Definitely, And we've heard Christine say throughout pretty much every
- 9:10Speaker 2: season of Sister Wives, talking about how grateful she is
- 9:13Speaker 2: for Aspen and Aspen's help and what is she gonna
- 9:15Speaker 2: do when Aspen moves out of the house because she
- 9:17Speaker 2: doesn't have her second parent around. And it's just like
- 9:20Speaker 2: crazy how these adults will try to delude.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Themselves a little bit into thinking that like.
- 9:28Speaker 2: This was normal behavior for the oldest children to enact.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Like sure in their culture, in their polygamist culture, that
- 9:37Speaker 1: it is typical that the older children are taking care
- 9:40Speaker 1: of the younger children. But there's just something so fundamentally
- 9:44Speaker 1: wrong about that that it just you would imagine that
- 9:48Speaker 1: at some point, Janelle and Christine and even Cody, like
- 9:51Speaker 1: you would ask yourself, is this the right thing to do?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Is this fair to do to the kids? Obviously, because
- 9:57Speaker 1: Janelle raised it, she thought it, but then she did
- 10:00Speaker 1: it anyway, uh huh, which kind of just dovetails with
- 10:03Speaker 1: a lot of the other revelations I'm coming to with Janelle,
- 10:06Speaker 1: Like she did a lot of things that she probably
- 10:08Speaker 1: shouldn't have done. Yep, not just with the family LLC
- 10:11Speaker 1: and maybe even the other wives, but in particular with
- 10:14Speaker 1: our children.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Oh definitely, And like I can see all sides of it,
- 10:19Speaker 2: where in big families, it's kind of like a natural
- 10:22Speaker 2: thing that happens where like the eldest children end up
- 10:25Speaker 2: just helping the parents out a bit but there's a
- 10:27Speaker 2: fine line between helping out and like learning responsibility as
- 10:32Speaker 2: an eldest kid and becoming an actual parent, And like
- 10:35Speaker 2: Logan kind of addresses it a little bit, saying that
- 10:38Speaker 2: he had to step up because Cody, his bitch ass father,
- 10:41Speaker 2: wasn't around.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Well, he was a traveling salesman, of course, selling salience
- 10:45Speaker 1: and like books or something. Wasn't he selling bibles or
- 10:48Speaker 1: books or comics or something.
- 10:50Speaker 3: That's what he told them.
- 10:50Speaker 1: That's what he told them.
- 10:52Speaker 3: He probably was hoe and around.
- 10:53Speaker 1: He was probably recruiting his next wife, totally courting Janelle
- 10:57Speaker 1: while she was married to another man. I'm playing, but
- 11:00Speaker 1: I mean kind of worked out that way just a
- 11:04Speaker 1: little bit. So poor Logan and poor Aspen, the parentified
- 11:07Speaker 1: eldest children. Then we move on to Leon and we
- 11:10Speaker 1: have another obligatory discussion about how Leon's Mary's only child,
- 11:14Speaker 1: but Leon didn't feel like an only child because they
- 11:17Speaker 1: had all these siblings, which is great.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But we've heard it one million times. Then we go
- 11:23Speaker 2: to Maddie and she has like a little speech about
- 11:27Speaker 2: all the things that she got from each of the parents,
- 11:30Speaker 2: like all the attributes. So she got her drivenness from Mary,
- 11:34Speaker 2: which is very nice.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And she was ordering me around like a slave, so
- 11:39Speaker 1: I became very driven.
- 11:41Speaker 2: And then she got her laughter from Christine, which is sweet.
- 11:44Speaker 2: She got her kind heartedness from Robin, which is another
- 11:48Speaker 2: load of shit.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And on the couch she's like, because Robin is really kind,
- 11:51Speaker 1: She's really just got such a good heart.
- 11:54Speaker 3: She's still loving.
- 11:55Speaker 2: And then she got her seized the day attitude from
- 11:58Speaker 2: her mom. Janelle like, okay, that's great, lovely Oh and
- 12:01Speaker 2: open mindedness from Cody. I'm like, where did he get
- 12:04Speaker 2: Where did you get that from? You didn't get that
- 12:06Speaker 2: from Cody. He's an open mindedness about sexuality.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Probably Oh maybe sorry, I'm really I'm just gonna I'm
- 12:13Speaker 1: gonna be bad from here on out because this was
- 12:15Speaker 1: such this was such a boring episode. I can't do
- 12:18Speaker 1: anything patrol.
- 12:19Speaker 2: And then we get to mchelt, who was the child
- 12:21Speaker 2: that kept from staying up at night.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Snory, and we hear about how McKelty is really into fashion.
- 12:28Speaker 3: She got a passion for fashion.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I like clothes and I'm gonna move to New York
- 12:32Speaker 1: as soon as I possibly can, and I'm gonna be
- 12:34Speaker 1: a fashion designer. Well that didn't end up happening. You
- 12:38Speaker 1: moved somewhere in Utah. St George. I think you worked
- 12:41Speaker 1: at a pawn shop. You met your husband, Tony too
- 12:44Speaker 1: many tacos.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Tony, he's a world renowned chess player now he is,
- 12:49Speaker 2: but he.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Had to work for that, Beatrice, he had to earn that. Yes,
- 12:52Speaker 1: and now you live in North Carolina with your Patreon
- 12:56Speaker 1: grifting off the rest of the raccoon for real.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Then we get to a Hunter, who was apparently a
- 13:01Speaker 2: big old fucking baby.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I just love Hunter though.
- 13:04Speaker 3: He's sweet.
- 13:04Speaker 1: He did not have a neck as a baby, which
- 13:06Speaker 1: I think is really he still kind of doesn't have
- 13:08Speaker 1: much of a net.
- 13:09Speaker 3: No, but he was.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Always good with the little one.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a sweetie, a nice older brother. Then we
- 13:14Speaker 2: get to Garrison, which was really bittersweet. That was the
- 13:17Speaker 2: only part of the episode that I really paid attention
- 13:20Speaker 2: to because I'm just like, I don't care about anybody else.
- 13:23Speaker 2: But Garrison was really sweet. He is the middle child
- 13:27Speaker 2: out of everybody, I mean, not just Janelle's family, but
- 13:30Speaker 2: the whole entire family, and Janelle and Cody talk about
- 13:33Speaker 2: how he was very undefined for a while, like couldn't
- 13:36Speaker 2: find his niche and then he found rotc and had
- 13:40Speaker 2: all these military goals, and it was just it was
- 13:43Speaker 2: sweet to see him talk.
- 13:44Speaker 1: And I think was it Christine who ended his segment
- 13:47Speaker 1: with He's gonna really it was Robin, He's going to
- 13:49Speaker 1: really make his mark on the world.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Yeah, gonna rock the world.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that's sad.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Then we have Paydon, who was devastated when they moved
- 13:58Speaker 2: from Utah to Las Vegas. But now he's like finally
- 14:02Speaker 2: finding his place and having friends and stuff. He's still
- 14:05Speaker 2: kind of adjusting, but.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I thought it was very interesting that they marked in
- 14:10Speaker 1: the timeline the very day that Payden changed in terms
- 14:15Speaker 1: of his behavior, and that was the day that Cody
- 14:18Speaker 1: announced to the family in Lehigh that they were leaving
- 14:21Speaker 1: for Las Vegas the next day. Yeah, like we had
- 14:24Speaker 1: to pack up immediately and we were getting the heck
- 14:26Speaker 1: out of Dodge and we all remember that scene with
- 14:29Speaker 1: Peyden sitting there crying because he didn't even get to
- 14:33Speaker 1: say goodbye to his friends from me, And now I
- 14:35Speaker 1: don't think I I mean, obviously, if I had sat
- 14:37Speaker 1: with that, I would have sussed that out, But I
- 14:40Speaker 1: didn't really ever realize that none of those kids really
- 14:43Speaker 1: got to say goodbye to their friends or other family
- 14:47Speaker 1: members in the area. They just had to run away,
- 14:51Speaker 1: so in the middle of the night, so for no
- 14:53Speaker 1: real reason, because I don't believe that the police were
- 14:55Speaker 1: actually pursuing you, Like you traumatized these kids.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, not just paid him, but so many of the
- 15:01Speaker 2: others too. And now we're just gonna pretend like everything's
- 15:04Speaker 2: unky dory because we're in the cul de Sac, faking
- 15:07Speaker 2: that we're a happy family now, Like it's just really sad.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Then we have Gabriel who says he shows two types
- 15:13Speaker 2: of love through words and physical touch.
- 15:16Speaker 1: A gay beating up his simplace, right, Savannah.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Drowning her dolls and stuff, And it kind of laughed
- 15:26Speaker 2: at this, even though Janelle was totally talking shit about
- 15:28Speaker 2: how terrible of a child Gabriel is, which is just
- 15:31Speaker 2: so weird because when you contrast it to who he
- 15:34Speaker 2: is now, he's like such a sweetheart.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And well, she didn't really give us any context for that.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We just kind of moved on to Savannah and she's like, well,
- 15:41Speaker 1: I was just really hoping that I wouldn't get another Gabriel,
- 15:43Speaker 1: And I'm like, what are you talking about. I, Yes,
- 15:46Speaker 1: Gabe's a boy. He was rough and humble with his brothers,
- 15:49Speaker 1: but like her, he seems truly delightful even as a child,
- 15:52Speaker 1: and he grew up to be even more delightful. Right,
- 15:55Speaker 1: what are you talking about?
- 15:56Speaker 2: I don't know why we're acting like he was such
- 15:57Speaker 2: a Hellian and so terrible. And I'm also like, Janelle,
- 16:00Speaker 2: you had four boys, Like, I don't know what you
- 16:02Speaker 2: expect her?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Five boys? What did you expect?
- 16:05Speaker 2: Like they're gonna be beating up each other, they're gonna
- 16:08Speaker 2: be fighting.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Five boys, yeah, Logan, Hunter, Garrison, Gabe, Oh, four boys,
- 16:14Speaker 1: well five Paydon always came over. But yeah, so it
- 16:17Speaker 1: was five kids?
- 16:17Speaker 3: Did she we have five kids? Yeah?
- 16:19Speaker 1: And it was Christine who had six. Oh okay, okay,
- 16:22Speaker 1: I get it fucked up. Yeah, because I don't care
- 16:24Speaker 1: a lot.
- 16:25Speaker 3: It is a lot. It's too many kids.
- 16:27Speaker 2: But yeah, it's like you have all these boys, like
- 16:29Speaker 2: what do you expect? And then when their dad is
- 16:31Speaker 2: not around because he's too busy selling signs and then
- 16:33Speaker 2: fucking Robin, it's like, of course they're gonna be kind
- 16:36Speaker 2: of crazy. And Janelle, I feel like was too passive
- 16:39Speaker 2: of a parent.
- 16:39Speaker 3: But that's just me and.
- 16:42Speaker 1: YEAHU she came home from work and she's like, yeah,
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the movies. I'm gonna Thanks Christine bye,
- 16:47Speaker 1: thanks Logan seriously.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Then we move on to Gwen with Christine's kids. I
- 16:53Speaker 2: don't know why we jumped over to that, but we
- 16:55Speaker 2: have Gwen. She was born four days after Gabriel, so
- 16:58Speaker 2: they referenced them as winds, which is cute. She's very
- 17:02Speaker 2: different and she is.
- 17:04Speaker 3: She don't leaves her.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Little interview because she gives. She's like, yeah, I guess
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm the weird one. And she's just very quirky. She
- 17:11Speaker 1: was born onto this planet with her own soul agenda
- 17:15Speaker 1: and she's just here to live.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Out loud bitch and I love that me too. Then
- 17:19Speaker 2: we have Isabelle and again Christine talking shit about her
- 17:22Speaker 2: kids about how Isabel's such a brat.
- 17:24Speaker 1: She did it in her book as well. I like
- 17:26Speaker 1: she was an ugly baby. Remember she called Isabelle an
- 17:29Speaker 1: ugly baby.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yes, I'm like, what the fuck are we doing?
- 17:31Speaker 1: Do you not realize your daughter is going to read
- 17:34Speaker 1: this book? I don't know. I don't get it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: And it's immortalized forever because you're a famous family.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Like that's wild to me.
- 17:40Speaker 1: But she's dropped dead gorgeous.
- 17:41Speaker 3: She's dropped out gorgeous.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Was a drop dead cutie cutie kid.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yep, super cute. But no, we're going to talk about
- 17:48Speaker 2: how she's such a fucking brat. She's a Hellian, she's
- 17:51Speaker 2: so terrible and they don't get along, and she's a pixie,
- 17:55Speaker 2: the perfect balance of braddy and nice. She's a Gemini.
- 17:59Speaker 2: And I think she says that in her little interview she.
- 18:01Speaker 1: Kind of loved that.
- 18:02Speaker 3: That's really cood. I'm just a Gemini. Okay, baack facts.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I love it.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It's a Gemini for you.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Look, I love a Gemini personally. And then.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I know, bitch, don't you forget it?
- 18:14Speaker 2: I know, bitch, your daughter's a Gemini rising. And then
- 18:19Speaker 2: the older she's gotten, she's gotten quieter, she's gotten sensitive.
- 18:22Speaker 2: And then they talk about her having headaches and shit,
- 18:25Speaker 2: yeah I didn't know that.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I didn't know she had headaches either, but they sound debilitating.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I thought like when they were talking about her health,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I was thinking it was the scoliosis. Yeah, but that
- 18:35Speaker 1: I don't believe was diagnosed until she was a teen,
- 18:38Speaker 1: so she had other health issues as a child as well.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Poor girl.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe that's why she had an attitude because she's
- 18:44Speaker 2: been suffering. Yeah whatever, but you.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Won't take her to the doctor because you don't have insurance.
- 18:48Speaker 1: You take her to some chiropractor. Probably gave her the
- 18:51Speaker 1: headache in the first side place by misenlightening her spy
- 18:53Speaker 1: for real.
- 18:54Speaker 2: And then we get to Savannah, who was the easiest
- 18:57Speaker 2: baby ever.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I learn so much.
- 18:59Speaker 3: She was so cute.
- 19:00Speaker 1: She's just mellow.
- 19:01Speaker 3: She looks like my little sister.
- 19:02Speaker 1: She's at a flow state at all times.
- 19:05Speaker 3: She's adorable. I dig her very sweet.
- 19:08Speaker 2: She slept through the night every night starting at three
- 19:11Speaker 2: days old.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Which is why that's wild. I know it actually is
- 19:15Speaker 1: when you have your own children, if you do, and
- 19:17Speaker 1: I'm not pressuring you at all to do that, I'm
- 19:19Speaker 1: just saying that it takes quite a bit of time.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, before they sleep through the night. My daughter
- 19:27Speaker 1: slept through the night three months. Was it three or
- 19:29Speaker 1: four months?
- 19:29Speaker 3: Oh my god, honey.
- 19:30Speaker 1: It was back in the prehistoric times. And I was
- 19:34Speaker 1: born and raised in Hawaii. Let me just tell my story. Yeah, so,
- 19:36Speaker 1: let me tell my story.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Hold for you.
- 19:39Speaker 1: It was back in the nineties. I come from Hawaii.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I was literally weaned on POI my brother was weaned
- 19:47Speaker 1: on poi. All my cousins, we were weaned on poi
- 19:50Speaker 1: from a very young age. And so when my daughter
- 19:53Speaker 1: wouldn't go to sleep, and plus I had that sepsis,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I was in a car. I was ill and literally dying.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Go to bed.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I've got got to get better. So my friends
- 20:02Speaker 1: from Hawaii, I was in Chicago at the time, sent
- 20:04Speaker 1: me a bunch of poi. Oh, and I put the
- 20:06Speaker 1: poi in her baba and girl, the day that I
- 20:10Speaker 1: did that, she slept all night, twelve hours.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Oh, she's happy.
- 20:14Speaker 1: It was amazing.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yes, it's pois liquid. I thought it
- 20:18Speaker 2: was like it's a paste.
- 20:19Speaker 1: It's taro. You pound it down into a paste and
- 20:22Speaker 1: it's really nutritious.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:24Speaker 1: That's why all these Polynesia people are big and muscular. Yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 1: because they're eating the pooi. Oh yeah. So sleeping through
- 20:31Speaker 1: the night at three days old, Oh my god, that's
- 20:33Speaker 1: a kiss from Jesus. Sonny.
- 20:35Speaker 2: I know Ethel's jealous here and that because her baby
- 20:38Speaker 2: and keeps her up and stuff.
- 20:39Speaker 3: She's sweet. Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Was she call a key or I don't know, okay,
- 20:43Speaker 1: etholt was she calling let us know in the comments below.
- 20:48Speaker 2: And then after we talk about Savannah, then we talk
- 20:50Speaker 2: about Cody and Robin's love story and her getting the
- 20:53Speaker 2: lightning bolt in her pussy. How after her divorce she's
- 20:57Speaker 2: swore awful man because she was heartbroken and traumatized. And
- 21:01Speaker 2: then she saw Cody at the church and she thought
- 21:03Speaker 2: he was stupid and she was right. But then she
- 21:06Speaker 2: got that lightning bolt through her pussy and realized that
- 21:09Speaker 2: he was the one for her, and they got married and.
- 21:13Speaker 3: They fell in love.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very quick.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Literally, nobody cares. Then we talk about her kids. We
- 21:18Speaker 2: start with Dton.
- 21:20Speaker 1: I loved Dayton, who was a happy.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Baby and then he got diagnosed with aspers.
- 21:24Speaker 1: His big old face and his baby pictures. Such a
- 21:26Speaker 1: cute baby.
- 21:27Speaker 3: So cute and chubby.
- 21:28Speaker 1: I love abby baby. To give a baby boy that
- 21:31Speaker 1: baby will be chubby.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I love chubby babies.
- 21:34Speaker 2: The chubby are the better when you can't see their
- 21:35Speaker 2: little elbows.
- 21:36Speaker 1: You are a little bean, though I was such a beat.
- 21:39Speaker 1: My daughter was a bean too.
- 21:40Speaker 2: I was not chubby at all. My little sister was,
- 21:43Speaker 2: though she had baby fat until she was like five.
- 21:45Speaker 3: I love it anyway. Dayton's cute.
- 21:48Speaker 2: He has aspergers, being in the big family helped him
- 21:50Speaker 2: learn social cues, which is great. Then we have Aurora, who.
- 21:53Speaker 1: Was beautiful eyes. Yeah, beautiful girl.
- 21:56Speaker 3: She was a busy baby.
- 21:58Speaker 2: She made Robin exhausted. Well, she had to get a nanny.
- 22:01Speaker 3: I'm just kidding, but.
- 22:02Speaker 2: It's like, Robin, chill out. All these other women were
- 22:05Speaker 2: raising a million kids, and you're just like complaining about Aurora.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 22:09Speaker 2: She's adjusted to the blended family. Cody says, she fits
- 22:13Speaker 2: in like a glove.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Then we get to.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Brianna, who's like BFFs with Mary.
- 22:17Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 22:19Speaker 2: Then we get to Truly. We have to watch an
- 22:22Speaker 2: obligatory flashback of her kidney failure, for.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It literally happened last season. We've already gone over it.
- 22:29Speaker 1: But God bless Truly got sick. She had a kidney issue.
- 22:34Speaker 1: The nurses told the family that she might pass. It
- 22:38Speaker 1: was traumatic. But then you read Christine's book from twenty
- 22:42Speaker 1: twenty five and she talks about how Cody actually spent
- 22:45Speaker 1: like a couple of hours at the hospital, but he
- 22:47Speaker 1: had to go back to Robin's home because he had
- 22:49Speaker 1: to do his laundry. Yeah, so he left Christine there
- 22:52Speaker 1: with Truly. Night after night after night and didn't stay
- 22:55Speaker 1: with them.
- 22:55Speaker 2: At all, but we're pretending like Cody was there the
- 22:58Speaker 2: entire time.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I worried. I was so terrified.
- 23:01Speaker 2: And then we have a little baby Julia on her
- 23:03Speaker 2: little couch doing her interview, and she's so fucking cute, cute,
- 23:08Speaker 2: she is so cute. And then we have Solomon and
- 23:11Speaker 2: no offense.
- 23:11Speaker 3: I don't care, I do.
- 23:13Speaker 1: He's cute. He's a little true baby.
- 23:15Speaker 3: That's it. Though then he turns into it.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I was just thinking, I was just thinking about that.
- 23:21Speaker 2: And then he grows up to be no sperantu.
- 23:26Speaker 1: God bless, he's a kid. You can't say about Beatrice.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Sorry, sorry, and then just picture of this no sperantu.
- 23:39Speaker 1: I'm sorry from the coffin. Just blame, just playing. He's
- 23:44Speaker 1: a sweet, adorable baby. Yeah, my god, so cute.
- 23:46Speaker 2: Yeah, And then we talked about the family going public.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Now they're worried about jail time, and flashbacking to uh
- 23:56Speaker 2: leaving Utah in such a hurry, as if we haven't
- 23:58Speaker 2: already talked about that million times a million times, not
- 24:01Speaker 2: even just in this episode, but like throughout all seven seasons,
- 24:04Speaker 2: and we talk about moving into the cul de Sac
- 24:06Speaker 2: and how everybody's attitudes simmered down once they were all
- 24:10Speaker 2: near each other again, and they could watch Cody be
- 24:13Speaker 2: at Robin's house when he looks.
- 24:15Speaker 1: At the window and figure out, oh, he's back at
- 24:18Speaker 1: Robin's house. He's spending time with his other wives or
- 24:21Speaker 1: kids exactly.
- 24:23Speaker 2: And then we have this like weird ending conversation with
- 24:28Speaker 2: the wives where Mary says she would go on a
- 24:32Speaker 2: cruise with them as long as they can work on
- 24:36Speaker 2: their relationship. And I don't know if she was referencing
- 24:39Speaker 2: that to Christine.
- 24:41Speaker 1: It was Christine initially, because then Cody said, well, I'd
- 24:45Speaker 1: be willing to go on a cruise, Mary if you
- 24:48Speaker 1: committed to working on your relationship with Janelle.
- 24:51Speaker 3: And that's what it ends.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Well, it ends with Robin happy an announcement and running away.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Why is she running away?
- 24:56Speaker 2: I don't know, because it's going to be content for
- 24:58Speaker 2: season eight.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I don't know she's running away. It's obviously Ariella. Yeah,
- 25:02Speaker 1: she's pregnant. Nobody cares, no, No.
- 25:05Speaker 2: One cares at all. And then the next episode, the
- 25:08Speaker 2: last episode of season seven is going to be the
- 25:10Speaker 2: tell all with uh, what's her name?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Tameron Hall? Tammeron Hall Yes, we love tammeron Hall, so
- 25:16Speaker 1: that'll be interesting. Yes, we're gonna watch that next week
- 25:18Speaker 1: and we're gonna recap it for you here.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and then season eight is going to be leading
- 25:23Speaker 2: up to Catfish. I'm pretty sure I think Catfish is
- 25:26Speaker 2: like at the end of season eight or season.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Nine, Mary is looking like Catfish Mary, uh huh, because
- 25:32Speaker 1: there's like a spectrum of Mary's through time. She seems
- 25:36Speaker 1: like she's approaching h Pylori denim vest denim g denim
- 25:44Speaker 1: Canadian tuxedo Mary from the Catfish era. Yes, and I'm excited.
- 25:49Speaker 1: I hope it's in season eight, but I don't know.
- 25:51Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Well, I know that these next couple of seasons are
- 25:55Speaker 2: actually pretty good, like there's some drama underlying.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Because this season, let's give it a grade since we're here.
- 26:02Speaker 1: This season was well. We had the shark tank, we
- 26:05Speaker 1: had the network, to the investors.
- 26:07Speaker 3: It started off good.
- 26:08Speaker 1: We did get a little bit of a deep divey
- 26:11Speaker 1: into what they think their businesses and what their plans
- 26:14Speaker 1: are for this very highly successful business, which was absolute
- 26:18Speaker 1: hilarity and I enjoyed it. But there wasn't much else there,
- 26:22Speaker 1: not at all. Okay, so I hope they crank it
- 26:24Speaker 1: up with the drama. I need more.
- 26:25Speaker 3: I need it too, will Beatrice?
- 26:28Speaker 1: Is there anything else that we should say to these
- 26:30Speaker 1: beautiful raccoons before we get up on out of here.
- 26:34Speaker 2: If you love our podcast, please go to your favorite
- 26:36Speaker 2: podcast platform and leavea's a glowing five star review. Really
- 26:40Speaker 2: helps us grow the pod so more people can join
- 26:42Speaker 2: us in the dumpster. We really would appreciate it.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Don't wart to hype us up too. Yeah it matters
- 26:46Speaker 1: to me, Yeah, it really does. We're going to be
- 26:49Speaker 1: back later this week, in fact, just tomorrow, to continue
- 26:53Speaker 1: our epic yeah coverage of love is Homeless, I mean
- 26:57Speaker 1: love is mid, I mean love is blind, love is unemployed.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I'm actually having a lot of fun with it. We're
- 27:01Speaker 1: going to have a great.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Kieky come back from that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Until then, please do not forget that we have nothing
