- 2:43Speaker 2: have an opportunity to meet Shaniya, who is one of

- 2:53Speaker 2: which is hosting the prayer breakfast, so she will be
- 2:58Speaker 2: in the building. She is she has released her first book.
- 3:05Speaker 2: We're actually having a book release on this weekend. This Saturday,
- 3:09Speaker 2: We're going to be in the Augusta area. We're going
- 3:13Speaker 2: to be hosting a book release for Shaniya Osborne. Author
- 3:19Speaker 2: Shaniya Osborne. She has been co authoring under a couple
- 3:26Speaker 2: of the projects that I've done for a little over
- 3:30Speaker 2: five years. She's been participating in projects with me. This
- 3:34Speaker 2: year she decided that she was going to launch her
- 3:37Speaker 2: own project and I am super super excited for her
- 3:40Speaker 2: because we're going to launch that project on this Saturday,
- 3:45Speaker 2: Grove Town, Georgia. It's right on the outskirts of Augusta, Georgia.
- 3:52Speaker 2: We're going to be hosting a release party. Y'all. This
- 3:57Speaker 2: is going to be an opportunity for you to come
- 4:00Speaker 2: chill with Shania. It's gonna be an upbig event. Even
- 4:03Speaker 2: though it is a devotional, we want people to really
- 4:07Speaker 2: experience what it's like to truly experience God and know
- 4:13Speaker 2: that this is life, that it is not a coincidence.
- 4:19Speaker 2: It's not y'all, Living for God and living in in
- 4:25Speaker 2: in your truth is it's not hard. It's like it
- 4:30Speaker 2: is so easy, but people have made it seem like
- 4:32Speaker 2: it is so hard and so drawn out. Yeah, you
- 4:36Speaker 2: gonna make mistakes because guess what. We make mistakes. We're
- 4:40Speaker 2: not perfect people. We're going to make mistakes, but we
- 4:45Speaker 2: learn as we go, we live, we learn from those mistakes.
- 4:50Speaker 2: And that's what Shania is doing inside of this book.
- 4:54Speaker 2: She's taken some of her mistakes, some of the things
- 4:58Speaker 2: that she's learned from, and she's sharing them inside of
- 5:02Speaker 2: this devotional style book that's gonna help empower you. It's
- 5:06Speaker 2: gonna educate you. It's gonna let you know scriptures, affirmations,
- 5:11Speaker 2: things that you can speak over your life, things that
- 5:14Speaker 2: you can apply to your life. I'm just excited to
- 5:18Speaker 2: be a part of that again. Shaniya is one of
- 5:22Speaker 2: the co authors inside of this book. She's one of
- 5:25Speaker 2: the visionaries for the one hundred Author Movement, the L
- 5:30Speaker 2: three Movement, the one hundred Authors Prayer Book. She is
- 5:35Speaker 2: one of the amazing authors that are a part of
- 5:40Speaker 2: this Let me hold it over this way. Maybe I
- 5:42Speaker 2: don't know why this camera will not pick up this
- 5:45Speaker 2: book over here. I got to hold it all the
- 5:48Speaker 2: way over here. I'm with all this technology, it still
- 5:52Speaker 2: don't want to pick up. And I'm sitting in front
- 5:55Speaker 2: of a screen. That's why I'm not understanding why it's
- 5:58Speaker 2: not picking up. Maybe if I hid it behind this book,
- 6:04Speaker 2: can y'all see Facebook? I'm trying to get them over
- 6:10Speaker 2: there on Facebook to be able to see the book.
- 6:12Speaker 2: They can't even see the book. But nevertheless, y'all, that
- 6:15Speaker 2: is the one hundred and twenty one days of Prayer.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Maybe you'll get to see it when you see the
- 6:20Speaker 2: replay from Substack, because you can see good on their screen.
- 6:26Speaker 2: You can see good on their screen. But I have
- 6:29Speaker 2: two books that I am using to pour into our youths.
- 6:33Speaker 2: These are the two books that I am using to
- 6:36Speaker 2: give back to our youth, to pour into our babies,
- 6:39Speaker 2: to give back to those babies, those kids, those that
- 6:45Speaker 2: have influenced and impacted my life. And I am excited
- 6:52Speaker 2: to be able to share these books. So first we
- 6:55Speaker 2: have a journal. It is a thirty day It's called
- 7:03Speaker 2: God is My Refuge and My Present Help. There is
- 7:06Speaker 2: actually four sections to this. It is a thirty one
- 7:11Speaker 2: day devotional and it walks you through Is it thirty
- 7:20Speaker 2: one No, it's twenty one days, y'all. I'm sorry, it's
- 7:22Speaker 2: twenty one days. It is a twenty one day devotional
- 7:26Speaker 2: with reflections. With a reflection section, it gives you all
- 7:32Speaker 2: kind of prompts, all types of different things that you
- 7:36Speaker 2: can incorporate into your day to day. We want to
- 7:41Speaker 2: teach you tools who want to give you resources that
- 7:43Speaker 2: can incorporate these things back into your day to day.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I'm excited about this book. I'm also excited about being
- 7:51Speaker 2: a part of the Brief podcast and being able to
- 7:58Speaker 2: share You're actually going to be launching the Grief Podcast
- 8:03Speaker 2: on Sunday, March the thirty, the thirtieth. I think is
- 8:15Speaker 2: it March the thirtieth, Channette, I think it's March the thirtieth.

- 9:49Speaker 2: some more poets to connect with. She is out of
- 9:52Speaker 2: the Dallas Fort Worth area. She's attached to so many
- 9:57Speaker 2: other poetry platforms and author platforms. She is someone that
- 10:03Speaker 2: is definitely utilizing her voice as a writer, as a creative,
- 10:07Speaker 2: as an influencer to be able to share her perspectives
- 10:11Speaker 2: and to allow other individuals to do the same. So
- 10:14Speaker 2: we're excited to have her part of the Crew podcast
- 10:18Speaker 2: team as well as a Spiring Authors magazine team as
- 10:22Speaker 2: the poet as of the year. This year, she's going

- 11:56Speaker 2: a poet and a author. We are also looking for
- 12:01Speaker 2: individuals that would like to be a part of the
- 12:05Speaker 2: Crew Podcast. Y'all. We still have three vacant spots here
- 12:10Speaker 2: on the Crew Podcast. You you don't have to be
- 12:14Speaker 2: a season pro. You don't have to be a pro.
- 12:17Speaker 2: All you need to know is that you have a message,
- 12:20Speaker 2: that you have something that somebody wants to hear, that
- 12:23Speaker 2: you want to get out. If you want to do interviews,
- 12:26Speaker 2: that you have your guests lined up. All I need
- 12:29Speaker 2: you to do is show up and respect the mic.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And what I mean by that is be on time,
- 12:35Speaker 2: make sure that there's no noise in the background, that
- 12:38Speaker 2: that that your your background is well lit, and that
- 12:43Speaker 2: you have the proper If you're gonna use backgrounds, use
- 12:47Speaker 2: the backgrounds. If you're gonna have you know, playing background,
- 12:51Speaker 2: make sure it's playing. We just want you to make
- 12:53Speaker 2: sure that you're in accordance to the Crew Podcast as well.
- 12:58Speaker 2: We have a show Aaron every night except for those
- 13:03Speaker 2: those slots that are open, and there are six nights
- 13:05Speaker 2: that we don't have somebody on. And then on that
- 13:08Speaker 2: fifth when there's a fifth week sometime, we have slots
- 13:11Speaker 2: that are open. If we don't have them covered, they're
- 13:17Speaker 2: open for the host to pick up bonus shows if
- 13:20Speaker 2: they want those shows. Right now, they've just been open
- 13:24Speaker 2: because I've been trying to get them feel because we
- 13:26Speaker 2: need we need you to come and allow your voice
- 13:30Speaker 2: to be heard, because somebody is waiting to hear from you.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It's you that they're waiting to hear from. We have
- 13:37Speaker 2: we currently have. Let me tell you what we have open.
- 13:41Speaker 2: We have first Sunday and fourth Monday open, we have
- 13:44Speaker 2: third Sunday and second Thursday open, and we have second
- 13:49Speaker 2: and fourth Wednesdays open. So if you're interested in sharing,
- 13:54Speaker 2: if you're interested in it being a part of this
- 13:57Speaker 2: amazing network, please I'm on over and join us. We
- 14:01Speaker 2: will provide you with on on hand training. We will
- 14:06Speaker 2: walk you through our procedures. How we operate things over here,
- 14:11Speaker 2: and how we operate may not be the way that
- 14:14Speaker 2: the next group of podcasters operate. We're all uniquely and
- 14:19Speaker 2: fearfully made in his own image. He has designed us
- 14:23Speaker 2: to operate according to what he's placed in our spirit.
- 14:26Speaker 2: So that's how we're operating. We have individuals from all
- 14:29Speaker 2: walks of life. We're trying to talk on our subjects
- 14:32Speaker 2: because we truly want to be the voice that we desire.
- 14:37Speaker 2: We want to be that voice for that voiceless, and
- 14:40Speaker 2: we want to be the change that we desire to
- 14:44Speaker 2: see in this world. So if you're out there trying
- 14:46Speaker 2: to be a difference, come on over and share with us.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Does not matter what your topic is, because everybody's way
- 14:55Speaker 2: of delivery, everybody's audience, everybody's perspective, it is gonna be different.
- 15:03Speaker 2: So we may talk about the same thing, but you
- 15:06Speaker 2: may give it a different way, and it may come
- 15:08Speaker 2: off to people differently as they perceive what we're giving.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Even though it may be the same thing, they may
- 15:15Speaker 2: receive something different from each one of us. So never
- 15:19Speaker 2: think that because somebody else is doing something that you're doing,
- 15:22Speaker 2: that what you're doing is not valuable and what you're
- 15:26Speaker 2: doing is not needed as well, Because what you're doing
- 15:29Speaker 2: is needed, and I want you to know that it
- 15:31Speaker 2: is wanted and desired. So go out there search after
- 15:35Speaker 2: those dreams, y'all. If God has laid something on those spirit,
- 15:40Speaker 2: don't sit by and let it go idle. Like He's
- 15:44Speaker 2: given you those things, because he's trying to give you
- 15:48Speaker 2: a way out. He's trying to open doors for you.
- 15:50Speaker 2: He's trying to lead you down your path, your destiny, y'all.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It's all about us aligning with that that he's already preordained,
- 15:58Speaker 2: that he's already called us to that out, that he's
- 16:01Speaker 2: already mapped out. Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven tells us
- 16:04Speaker 2: that It tells us that he declared that he had
- 16:06Speaker 2: a plan for us. The plan was to prosper us.
- 16:08Speaker 2: It was not to harm us. So I'm telling you,
- 16:10Speaker 2: if there's anything that is bringing harm to you, if
- 16:14Speaker 2: people are backed by the then people are stabbing you
- 16:18Speaker 2: in the back and doing all these things and it's
- 16:20Speaker 2: causing you harm, then you need to remove yourself from
- 16:23Speaker 2: that situation. And it's up to you to realize that
- 16:27Speaker 2: God does not put you in the midst of harm.
- 16:31Speaker 2: That's not what he said. He said to prosper you.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So if it's not prospering you, if it's not bringing
- 16:37Speaker 2: you something that's gonna help elevate you, something that's gonna
- 16:39Speaker 2: help take you to the next stuff, it's not bringing
- 16:41Speaker 2: you something, then you need to separate yourself, remove yourself,
- 16:46Speaker 2: learn to cut ties and y'all. That's something I'm not
- 16:50Speaker 2: just telling y'all. It's something that I'm having to learn
- 16:52Speaker 2: in this season because guess what, I have been pouring,
- 16:56Speaker 2: pouring openly, trying to assist people, and it's just like
- 17:00Speaker 2: it's just going by the wayside, it's just going to
- 17:03Speaker 2: it's just like it's going to the pigs, and it's
- 17:07Speaker 2: time out for that. It's so many other people that
- 17:10Speaker 2: want and that it's out there that want what you
- 17:13Speaker 2: have to offer and that is in need of what
- 17:16Speaker 2: you have to offer. But you're so stuck on pouring
- 17:20Speaker 2: and sharing into people that don't even care, people that
- 17:23Speaker 2: have tuned you out because they're not listening anymore because
- 17:28Speaker 2: they've they've gotten all that they want. So now it's
- 17:31Speaker 2: time for you to realize that you it's time to
- 17:34Speaker 2: move on. It's time to accept your losses. See, it's
- 17:40Speaker 2: just like that grieving process. You know, went through the
- 17:43Speaker 2: angry stage, you know, went through the denial stage, you know,
- 17:47Speaker 2: went through all these different stages. Now I'm to the
- 17:52Speaker 2: point to where I've accepted a lot of things. I've accepted,
- 17:58Speaker 2: I've been angry, i I've denied I've even tried to bargain.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I said, move on. It's time to cut your tithes
- 18:09Speaker 2: and move on. You don't owe anybody nothing, and don't
- 18:14Speaker 2: nobody owe you nothing. I've given you gifts and talents
- 18:20Speaker 2: that would open door and make room for you. So
- 18:24Speaker 2: it's up to you to tap into those gifts and talents.
- 18:29Speaker 2: You wanna keep having a pity party, you sit over
- 18:32Speaker 2: there and have a pity party by yourself. And this
- 18:35Speaker 2: is me, This is me having a conversation with myself
- 18:40Speaker 2: and my guide because I was too a point to where,
- 18:44Speaker 2: you know, I was starting to feel sorry for myself
- 18:47Speaker 2: because I felt like all the things that I do
- 18:51Speaker 2: for people, yet when it's time to recognize, when it's
- 18:57Speaker 2: time to honor, when it's time to support, it's like,
- 19:00Speaker 2: where is my support? Where's my help? God said, you
- 19:05Speaker 2: work unto me, So don't worry about it. He said,
- 19:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna send the people that you need. I want
- 19:12Speaker 2: to send them support that you need. He said. Not
- 19:14Speaker 2: only am I gonna send you what you need, he said,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna send you what your heart desired. Because you're
- 19:21Speaker 2: not doing it. You're not doing it for Angela. He said,
- 19:24Speaker 2: you're doing it for me, you know. And I had
- 19:28Speaker 2: to sit back and I had to listen to myself.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I had to go back and I had to listen
- 19:32Speaker 2: to some of my own podcasts, and I had to
- 19:35Speaker 2: listen to some of my own messages, and I had
- 19:38Speaker 2: to allow my own messages to talk to me, because
- 19:42Speaker 2: the enemy today was on me. The enemy would have
- 19:47Speaker 2: me to think that, ain't nobody coming to your event?
- 19:50Speaker 2: Don't nobody want to support you? They too busy worrying
- 19:53Speaker 2: about themselves. Because you know what I said. You know what,
- 19:59Speaker 2: whoever for God aligned to come, they're gonna come. I said,
- 20:07Speaker 2: whoever God aligns to come speak, they're gonna come speak.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I'm not gonna keep asking whoever he aligned to be
- 20:14Speaker 2: a part of the projects that that that, that's who
- 20:19Speaker 2: will be a part of the projects. I'm not gonna
- 20:22Speaker 2: keep offering people free stuff to be a part of
- 20:26Speaker 2: something and then they don't even support it. They don't
- 20:29Speaker 2: even do anything. They don't even even acknowledge the fact
- 20:32Speaker 2: that they are a part of it, after you've given
- 20:34Speaker 2: them a free opportunity to promote themselves. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm doing it today. Because sometimes you pour into people
- 20:45Speaker 2: so much to it just start being draining. And today
- 20:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna I'm I'm gonna liberate myself. I'm I'm gonna
- 20:53Speaker 2: liberate myself. I know, been in here getting myself together
- 20:57Speaker 2: for for my events that I got coming up, and
- 21:00Speaker 2: going through some stuff and checking some notes, dotting some
- 21:04Speaker 2: eyes and crossing some teaser making sure I got some
- 21:07Speaker 2: things in line. You know, my nephew called me. It
- 21:11Speaker 2: was texting me on yesterday, kind of getting on me,
- 21:14Speaker 2: and you know, trying to get me right for my birthday, y'all.
- 21:17Speaker 2: My birthday coming up. I'm turning fifty. You know. It
- 21:22Speaker 2: may not be a lot to some of y'all, But
- 21:24Speaker 2: when the enemy told me I wouldn't make that, I
- 21:28Speaker 2: wouldn't even see twenty one, twenty two thirty, when the
- 21:33Speaker 2: enemy was trying to take me out of here by
- 21:34Speaker 2: committing suicide. And know only that the enemy tried to
- 21:37Speaker 2: take me out of here by taking my life on
- 21:39Speaker 2: May seventh, twenty fourteen. See, the enemy's been at me
- 21:44Speaker 2: so much to I know that there's a reason. And
- 21:47Speaker 2: see it's just something about that number five. It's about
- 21:52Speaker 2: grace and mercy, and that is what he's extended to
- 21:55Speaker 2: me when he dropped that book in my spirit, crowning glory. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 2: a journey of grace and wisdoy, grace and wisdom. Now,
- 22:09Speaker 2: you didn't just get there by chance. It wasn't a happenstance.
- 22:12Speaker 2: It wasn't by coincidence. But as I listened to the
- 22:22Speaker 2: different podcasts that I've not only been a guest stone,
- 22:26Speaker 2: but that I've actually shared and hosted and interviewed individuals
- 22:32Speaker 2: and different things. You know, I just listened to how
- 22:37Speaker 2: you know, God used individuals to come and pour into
- 22:40Speaker 2: my life, and he used me to pour into individuals life.
- 22:42Speaker 2: It was always a given a take, and it wasn't
- 22:47Speaker 2: always where individuals were coming with the handout or I
- 22:51Speaker 2: had my hand out. It was like we was given
- 22:53Speaker 2: of each other freely because we wanted to see each
- 22:57Speaker 2: other growth. We wanted to see each other prosper. We
- 22:59Speaker 2: wanted to see each other thribbing in the things that
- 23:01Speaker 2: we know that God had placed in our heart. And
- 23:06Speaker 2: that's what it should be like. It should be like
- 23:10Speaker 2: that on all of the platforms that we are part of.
- 23:15Speaker 2: You know, I see out of the seeds, the looks,
- 23:20Speaker 2: the views, and and all of the reaches. But what
- 23:26Speaker 2: does it hurt to like to give a heart, to
- 23:30Speaker 2: give a thumbs up, or even to share every now
- 23:34Speaker 2: and then? It doesn't hurt And it only takes a
- 23:39Speaker 2: few more seconds to hit the button. It's just merely
- 23:43Speaker 2: pushing a button. It does not cost you anything. And
- 23:49Speaker 2: I feel like if you're on these sites, then you
- 23:55Speaker 2: come on these sites with a purpose. So what is
- 23:58Speaker 2: your purpose today? Is your purpose to support someone? What
- 24:03Speaker 2: it's your purpose to be a hindrance to someone? Because
- 24:06Speaker 2: if you set out with a purpose to do something,
- 24:10Speaker 2: then when you go to their page and you see
- 24:12Speaker 2: something that you like, it shouldn't hurt you to hit
- 24:15Speaker 2: the like button. It takes a second, that second that
- 24:19Speaker 2: it took you to go over there, It only takes
- 24:21Speaker 2: that same amount of energy to hit that button because
- 24:24Speaker 2: while you're looking at it, while you're reading it, you
- 24:26Speaker 2: can be hitting the button. And it's just all about
- 24:31Speaker 2: us supporting each other. It's all about us showing that
- 24:33Speaker 2: you're not it front. It's all about us showing that camaraderie.
- 24:39Speaker 2: But see a lot of us would support openly when
- 24:44Speaker 2: it's when when when when we can get the praises?
- 24:47Speaker 2: When it's about us but when we got to give
- 24:51Speaker 2: God the glory or we got to give somebody else
- 24:53Speaker 2: the accolade or the credit for it's like it's hurting us.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Like it's like it hurt us. It's like it's pulling teeth.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Y'all sit in the background and let y'all have all
- 25:05Speaker 2: the credit. Y'all won't won't make me no difference. Like,
- 25:08Speaker 2: don't nobody know nothing about the Crew Podcast unless y'all
- 25:13Speaker 2: tell them who I am. I don't do a show.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I come on every now and then and do something
- 25:21Speaker 2: other than what the Crew Podcast. I don't have a
- 25:25Speaker 2: show over that. So when they come back and looking
- 25:26Speaker 2: for a show, they ain't gonna find a show named that.
- 25:30Speaker 2: I am the Visionary. But we have shows. We have
- 25:35Speaker 2: hosts that come on rarely every month. Some of them
- 25:39Speaker 2: been on three years. This is their third season, this
- 25:43Speaker 2: is their third year. Now it's not a game. We
- 25:48Speaker 2: are over here being about his business. So he's given
- 25:50Speaker 2: us an outlet, he's given us a platform, he's given
- 25:53Speaker 2: us a task that we're supposed to be doing. We're
- 25:57Speaker 2: right here in place Sunday through Friday, eight pm Eastern
- 26:03Speaker 2: Standard time. We still have those slots that I'll mentioned
- 26:08Speaker 2: earlier if you need a family, if you need a
- 26:13Speaker 2: support system, if you need an outlet to allow your
- 26:16Speaker 2: voice to be heard. I can't promise you that you're
- 26:19Speaker 2: gonna reach fifty five million, one hundred million. I can't
- 26:25Speaker 2: even say you're gonna reach fifty five or five. But
- 26:29Speaker 2: I can tell you we're gonna offer you an outlet
- 26:32Speaker 2: where you're gonna be able to go live. You're gonna
- 26:35Speaker 2: be able to scream live on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch,
- 26:39Speaker 2: and then not only that, you're gonna have the opportunity
- 26:42Speaker 2: to have the same broadcast distributed to ten to fifteen
- 26:46Speaker 2: other platforms. Now, it's up to us as hosts to
- 26:52Speaker 2: get out and to allow the word about our shows
- 26:55Speaker 2: to get out. So how do we do that. We
- 26:57Speaker 2: have to share our shows. We have to share the
- 26:59Speaker 2: lead to where people can go and watch the replays.
- 27:03Speaker 2: We have to encourage people. We have to engage. So
- 27:07Speaker 2: don't think that just because you do a show that
- 27:10Speaker 2: your engagement is gonna double, that your followers are gonna triple,
- 27:15Speaker 2: that everything is gonna just come naturally. No, you still
- 27:19Speaker 2: have to put in the work, Like we didn't just
- 27:23Speaker 2: overnight just come up with the podcast and come up
- 27:28Speaker 2: with the outlets that we have. It's something that we
- 27:32Speaker 2: have developed over these last three years here as the
- 27:36Speaker 2: Core podcast. We've been working through this for the last
- 27:41Speaker 2: five years as a magazine AA LAC as those that
- 27:46Speaker 2: are on subs that can see that this has been
- 27:50Speaker 2: a part of what I have been doing since twenty
- 27:54Speaker 2: and sixteen. Now, I truly believe that we are the
- 27:58Speaker 2: change that we desire to see in this world. And
- 28:01Speaker 2: if we want to see change, that we have to
- 28:04Speaker 2: be that change. If you have a gift, a talent,
- 28:09Speaker 2: a resource, something that you know can help someone else
- 28:12Speaker 2: and you're sitting on it and you're not allowing it
- 28:14Speaker 2: to get out, shame on you. Like, did I ever
- 28:22Speaker 2: think that this would be me? Did I ever think
- 28:24Speaker 2: that I would be hosting a podcast five years next
- 28:29Speaker 2: month on the WBNN that airs to over thirty million
- 28:34Speaker 2: listeners from Legos, Nigeria through Talk Shoe Radio. Did I
- 28:39Speaker 2: even imagine that that would be me? No. I went
- 28:43Speaker 2: over to that show to be a guest on a
- 28:47Speaker 2: host that is no longer on the network, to be
- 28:49Speaker 2: his guest, and from that I was offered an opportunity
- 28:55Speaker 2: to allow my voice to speak well Within two years
- 28:59Speaker 2: of being under the leadership of doctor oladey Ngzie, I
- 29:06Speaker 2: was able to garner a spot in the International Radio Hall,
- 29:12Speaker 2: the International Internet Radio Hall of Fame. I was enshrined
- 29:17Speaker 2: in October November I'm sorry, November of twenty twenty three.
- 29:24Speaker 2: That same year, I would win then Oydell Host of
- 29:29Speaker 2: the Year Award, recognized by my peers, recognized by those
- 29:34Speaker 2: that I labor with, those that tune into my show
- 29:37Speaker 2: on a monthly basis, and those that I support on
- 29:41Speaker 2: a daily basis. I'll show airs every night at nine
- 29:46Speaker 2: thirty pm through Talk to You Radio, except for on Saturdays.
- 29:51Speaker 2: There's about twenty one host over there. See it's not
- 29:54Speaker 2: like the Crew podcast over here, there's someone on every
- 29:57Speaker 2: night over there. See over here we have someone we're
- 30:02Speaker 2: on two nights a week. I mean not two nights
- 30:05Speaker 2: a week, but we have two shows per month. Where
- 30:08Speaker 2: everybody on the network that I'm on we only have
- 30:11Speaker 2: one show. Except for there is three hosts over there
- 30:16Speaker 2: that has two shows. One she has a show every week,
- 30:20Speaker 2: so she comes on every single week. Her show airs
- 30:23Speaker 2: on Sundays and she come on every single week. So
- 30:26Speaker 2: over here, we have one host that comes on every week,
- 30:31Speaker 2: but she only comes on every first through fourth. She
- 30:35Speaker 2: do get a week off if there's a fifth week
- 30:37Speaker 2: in that month. She does not come on on fifth Tuesdays,
- 30:42Speaker 2: and that is Patrice Patrise comes on every Tuesday because
- 30:45Speaker 2: she hosts one of the hottest shows on the podcast,
- 30:50Speaker 2: and that is our author's showcase show, South Carolina Book Gap,
- 30:54Speaker 2: where she does book reviews, she does author interviews, she
- 30:58Speaker 2: does anything around literacy. So if you are in the
- 31:04Speaker 2: literacy world, she's definitely someone that you want to connect with.
- 31:08Speaker 2: We have, when I tell y'all, we are diverse, we
- 31:11Speaker 2: have someone that does social injustice. And she's not just
- 31:16Speaker 2: just focused on her husband and on her co host's case,
- 31:22Speaker 2: but she's also focused on all of those that reach
- 31:25Speaker 2: out to her. She's helped so many people, whether it's
- 31:28Speaker 2: writing letters, whether it's just taking their phone call, sending
- 31:33Speaker 2: them cards, letting them know that they are being thought about.
- 31:37Speaker 2: She's passionate about what she does. She is a poet
- 31:41Speaker 2: as well. She's found her gift in writing. She's found
- 31:45Speaker 2: her niche in allowing her voice to speak through her words,
- 31:51Speaker 2: through poetry and through her podcast. And I'm excited to
- 31:55Speaker 2: see what else she's doing. She has a book that's
- 31:58Speaker 2: going to be dropping. Her name is at Johnson hosts
- 32:01Speaker 2: of Let's Talk About It. Her book will be dropping
- 32:04Speaker 2: in June. It's going to be dropping on her son's birthday.
- 32:08Speaker 2: And this book that she's doing is in honor of
- 32:13Speaker 2: her son. She wants to keep his legacy alive. She
- 32:17Speaker 2: wants people to know who he was to her, and
- 32:21Speaker 2: she wants him to know that he's missed, he's love
- 32:24Speaker 2: and that she's yet pressing on and that she's not
- 32:28Speaker 2: forgotten him. So she's doing this book to honor him,
- 32:32Speaker 2: to let other people know that you can get through.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Yes there's a process, and yes you will never get
- 32:41Speaker 2: over it, but you can cope with it and you
- 32:44Speaker 2: can't get through it. So she's gonna be sharing that.
- 32:49Speaker 2: When I tell y'all, we are diverce, we are diverse
- 32:51Speaker 2: because we have a lot of individuals on the network
- 32:57Speaker 2: that can really touch on home various topics. They can
- 33:02Speaker 2: they come from various background. We have a social worker,
- 33:05Speaker 2: we have a medical guru, we have a professor, we
- 33:13Speaker 2: have disability awareness. When I tell y'all, we have it all,
- 33:19Speaker 2: we have it all. And when I tell you, I
- 33:23Speaker 2: am truly blessed to be in the midst of such
- 33:26Speaker 2: amazing individuals. I am truly blessed to be in the
- 33:29Speaker 2: midst of such amazing individuals. Again, I thank you guys.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I hope that there has been something that I've shared
- 33:37Speaker 2: today that will encourage you guys to get up, be motivated,
- 33:44Speaker 2: do something. Don't sit and think that something is going
- 33:48Speaker 2: to fall out the sky. It's not going to fall
- 33:49Speaker 2: out the sky. You got to take action and the
- 33:54Speaker 2: things that you want to happen again. I will be
