- 0:11Speaker 3: hours that night.
- 0:15Speaker 4: Relatable the Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Audie Clark
- 0:27Speaker 4: ak Mummy, and my partner in crime, the Patrick to
- 0:31Speaker 4: my SpongeBob Jake Craig ak Daddy. This this, this argument
- 0:36Speaker 4: is ongoing forever.
- 0:38Speaker 1: I am not Patrick. Yes, you are not Patrick. Who
- 0:41Speaker 1: gets more girls?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Wait? Have a girlfriend? That's why you're Patrick mane.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Patrick.
- 0:49Speaker 1: All right, we've said it a few times. We hear
- 0:51Speaker 1: it a lot. Girls think men put chapstick on.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Wrong they do? Proven wrong, Jake, proven wrong, proven over promo.
- 1:01Speaker 3: If you're not I'm about to put some chapstick on.
- 1:03Speaker 3: If you're on Spotify and not on YouTube, proven wrong, Patrick,
- 1:05Speaker 3: proven wrong. Mmmm. Move those leaves, mate, move them, move
- 1:12Speaker 3: those leaves.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Chapped them ready to talk, chapped and ready to chat?
- 1:19Speaker 4: Well today, do you want to start with make them say?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yes? We're about to give away another hat.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 1:29Speaker 4: We gave one last week away to Matt and we
- 1:31Speaker 4: didn't play make them say because we felt nice.
- 1:34Speaker 1: First hat had to be just give a tom.
- 1:37Speaker 4: But today we are calling mckayley, yes, and we are
- 1:41Speaker 4: going to try and make her say the word.
- 1:43Speaker 3: We've got a random generator. Jake's got it right now, what.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Word did the Jake? We're generating needle needle? Needle needle.
- 1:51Speaker 3: Okay, that's hard.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Needle.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Okay, here's my tactic though, here's my tactic.
- 2:02Speaker 3: All right, I don't know how I'm gonna put needle
- 2:03Speaker 3: into it. They they we We open it up with, hey, mckayley,
- 2:07Speaker 3: it's us, all right, yeah, we she knows there's a
- 2:11Speaker 3: chance she's playing make them say but also like the
- 2:15Speaker 3: listen to the podcast, they're gonna be like, oh cool,
- 2:17Speaker 3: they're calling me. All right, we just open it up
- 2:19Speaker 3: with like, mckayley, what what are those things that you
- 2:24Speaker 3: get when you get an injection?
- 2:26Speaker 2: She just goes a needle and we're like, sorry, love,
- 2:29Speaker 2: you don't win.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Is that your game?
- 2:31Speaker 4: But if that doesn't work, we have the hats between us,
- 2:35Speaker 4: needle to sew. That's our backup if she doesn't say it.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Yeah, timer time tim When she answers, I'll have a
- 2:44Speaker 3: one minute timer. You can we a minute? Yeah, one minute,
- 2:48Speaker 3: Like I say, I say, tactics wise, Thanks for listening.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Thanks for putting.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, okay, we're ready. This is gonna be hard. Mckayley.
- 2:57Speaker 3: We call and I hope she picks up my phones
- 2:59Speaker 3: on the call already? Are you going first?
- 3:01Speaker 4: Straight up with that, mkayley. It's Audi and Jake from
- 3:08Speaker 4: the Relatables.
- 3:09Speaker 3: How are you going? Hey? Good? Thanks? Are you good?
- 3:12Speaker 3: Thank you? You've just won yourself a hat. Oh my gosh, amazing,
- 3:16Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Kayley.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Where are you at?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Where do you were in childcare?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Childcare?
- 3:25Speaker 3: I had a little debate, a little debate before the
- 3:27Speaker 3: show that we were going to get you to settle.
- 3:29Speaker 1: When getting an injection?
- 3:31Speaker 3: What is it called? Addie and I have got one
- 3:34Speaker 3: each of what we think it's called, but it's different.
- 3:35Speaker 3: What would you call it? Like like when getting injection,
- 3:39Speaker 3: like a needle or something? We got you you just lost?
- 3:46Speaker 3: Make them say.
- 3:50Speaker 2: So much.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I'm really going to say, like an immunization. We're so Mkayley,
- 3:58Speaker 3: I feel so bad, horrible. So that's okay. Maybe next time.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Damn at least I got a hoodie. Ship she bought
- 4:13Speaker 3: a hoodie. We might we might cut this out.
- 4:15Speaker 4: We might slip in our hat not to anyone.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Yes, pink, let's go I have for you.
- 4:24Speaker 4: Well, thank you, thank you very much for ordering a hoodie,
- 4:27Speaker 4: and we wish.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You a good day.
- 4:29Speaker 3: Thank you to you guys. Love the thank you, thank you, bye,
- 4:33Speaker 3: thanks bye. You nailed that.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I thought you were going to go straight into like
- 4:39Speaker 4: do like kids need injections, but you just asked the questions.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I forgot to say the time of it. We didn't
- 4:47Speaker 1: need it.
- 4:48Speaker 3: You were on your stuff. I was like, oh, he's
- 4:50Speaker 3: gone for he's going for it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: Easier to do to random people.
- 4:53Speaker 3: We've just done it to people we know, so they
- 4:55Speaker 3: know we're on a podcast, and she knows we're on
- 4:57Speaker 3: the podcast. But also, I just I knew in the
- 4:59Speaker 3: heat of the moment, you'd be like, oh, they asked
- 5:00Speaker 3: me a question.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm just going to be like.
- 5:03Speaker 3: I feel so I felt so awkward saying well, you
- 5:05Speaker 3: don't get anything there, Yeah, I know.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I was like, the rejection is like, you've got to
- 5:11Speaker 2: be smart.
- 5:12Speaker 3: You gotta just likes though, because I'm like, I feel
- 5:15Speaker 3: so bad, but they want a way to start the body.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That was great, alright.
- 5:29Speaker 3: The other day I had a memory, like an embarrassing
- 5:33Speaker 3: memory something because well just in my head because something
- 5:38Speaker 3: happened where I heard about someone getting like friend zoned.
- 5:41Speaker 3: All right, And I remember one time I got friend zoned,
- 5:46Speaker 3: really and I got friend zoned without being actually told
- 5:49Speaker 3: word for word that I was friend zoned. Leonardo DiCaprio, J.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Craig got friend zoned. So back in the day, all right,
- 5:58Speaker 3: school year nine, Yeah, you were still a little ugly,
- 6:04Speaker 3: would like to say, year nine, I had to krush
- 6:08Speaker 3: on this girl, name dropping, maybe not actually.
- 6:12Speaker 1: How to crush on this girl.
- 6:14Speaker 3: And started messaging her as you do in you're nine.
- 6:16Speaker 3: You don't talk to him in person. I didn't talk
- 6:18Speaker 3: to girls, mate, disgusting.
- 6:22Speaker 1: What am I going to say?
- 6:23Speaker 3: Hey, how are you? That's stupid? Okay, message her obviously
- 6:26Speaker 3: trying to mess that. And the way that you back
- 6:29Speaker 3: in the day would hear around where we live at least,
- 6:32Speaker 3: is you start messaging a girl and then you know
- 6:36Speaker 3: chat's flowing. But then when you go to bed, so
- 6:40Speaker 3: you you go, I'm going to go to sleep, good night,
- 6:43Speaker 3: X X double X or just an X, all right,
- 6:47Speaker 3: and then if they send an X back.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Linked you're talking. You're you're tuning.
- 6:51Speaker 1: We call it tuning.
- 6:52Speaker 2: You're you're a couple that is there, right, she's she's
- 6:54Speaker 2: off limits.
- 6:55Speaker 1: You're off limits.
- 6:55Speaker 3: That's the equivalent of sex in your nine facts, bro, alright,
- 6:58Speaker 3: sex nothing better? Yeah?
- 7:01Speaker 1: So I do that, all right?
- 7:02Speaker 3: I do it, and I get a reply no drama's
- 7:06Speaker 3: good night, smiley face.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And it hurt and it hurts to the core.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Bro, let me tell you, sid fall asleep four hours
- 7:17Speaker 3: that night. It sucks showing my face at school the
- 7:20Speaker 3: next day. Somehow everyone knew fuck knows how, but I was.
- 7:26Speaker 3: I was dev you got friend zoned. So the IG
- 7:29Speaker 3: question of the week this week was, how did you
- 7:31Speaker 3: tell him he's just a friend without actually telling him
- 7:34Speaker 3: he's just a friend? And I have one?
- 7:36Speaker 4: And when I got friend zone, she said to me,
- 7:40Speaker 4: you know this, this is like yeah, maybe eight or
- 7:43Speaker 4: nine I think ye, it would have been about the
- 7:44Speaker 4: same time. And she said he's too nice.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Reber, I was too hot, I was too nice. I
- 7:54Speaker 3: hate and we didn't get any of them. But that's
- 7:55Speaker 3: a red carrying one. How could someone be too nice? Huh? Yeah?
- 8:00Speaker 3: I was like, what do you want me to do?
- 8:01Speaker 3: Treat women badly? Like come on?
- 8:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Now she's looking back and she's like, he he.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Is too nice? And I need it. Fuck single, I
- 8:12Speaker 2: bet she's single.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Fucking hell, all right, I'll go first. Her points to
- 8:20Speaker 3: a girl quote, I think she's into you. You should
- 8:23Speaker 3: go for it. Oh straight up. That one doesn't hurt
- 8:26Speaker 3: too much. I don't know though, because you're kind of like, oh, yeah,
- 8:29Speaker 3: she's into me, like you get distracted a little bit.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Maybe actually yeah, a guy could just be like, well,
- 8:34Speaker 3: that one's into me, so we'll just go there. Yeah. True,
- 8:38Speaker 3: that's actually a good point.
- 8:39Speaker 4: Okay, my turn. I want you to be the guy
- 8:41Speaker 4: and I'll be the girl. Oh okay, thanks buddy.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Okay the high five.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Oh that's so good.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Now, So gnarly, how did you tell him he was
- 8:58Speaker 3: just a friend without actually telling you asked him to
- 9:01Speaker 3: look at my nudes to make sure they're good enough
- 9:04Speaker 3: before I send them to an actual boy. That's so misleading.
- 9:08Speaker 3: I would not clock onto that. I would be like
- 9:11Speaker 3: I am winning. Yeah, yeah true. I would be like, yeah,
- 9:15Speaker 3: fair enough. Does he know you're sending them to another boy? Yeah?
- 9:19Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, like just make sure these are good
- 9:21Speaker 4: that I would be thinking she's playing a little game
- 9:23Speaker 4: if she wants.
- 9:23Speaker 3: Me fair for me to see, like how good it is.
- 9:25Speaker 3: I'd go for a kiss. I go for that one,
- 9:27Speaker 3: would not wait, send one back. This one's good ending
- 9:32Speaker 3: phone with love you queen. Fuck bro, that's actually that's
- 9:39Speaker 3: actually really really good. Imagine thinking you're talking to a
- 9:43Speaker 3: girl and she just goes and he's like, oh, I
- 9:45Speaker 3: gotta go to bed, good night, and she's like, love
- 9:47Speaker 3: you queen. I'd be I'd be questioning my own sexuality.
- 9:51Speaker 3: So would like, what does she who does she think
- 9:53Speaker 3: I am? But also any in is an in is
- 9:55Speaker 3: and in yeah, might be comfortable with sleep. I couldn't
- 10:03Speaker 3: imagine having sex with you. It'd feel like incest.
- 10:06Speaker 4: What so that's basically like my one, you're like a
- 10:12Speaker 4: brother to me. That's on another level. That's like creating
- 10:16Speaker 4: way of saying you're like a brother to me. As
- 10:18Speaker 4: like they get to the point I love it, it's
- 10:20Speaker 4: like incest. Oh I'm actually going to go off that
- 10:26Speaker 4: had sex with his brother.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 10:30Speaker 2: That's saying that's not even saying how did you tell
- 10:32Speaker 2: them he's a friend.
- 10:33Speaker 3: That's saying how do you tell them he's nothing true?
- 10:40Speaker 3: How did you tell him he was just a friend
- 10:41Speaker 3: without actually telling him. I said to him, if we
- 10:44Speaker 3: aren't married by forty, we can get married.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Oh, I swear, I think that's a good one.
- 10:50Speaker 4: But I think I did that in like year like
- 10:52Speaker 4: seven or eight eight. Really yeah, did you ever have
- 10:54Speaker 4: like a fling with a girl who you never like,
- 10:56Speaker 4: thought you were going to date and then you were
- 10:57Speaker 4: just friends and you're like, if we both single at forty,
- 10:59Speaker 4: we'll get married.
- 11:00Speaker 3: One time, I think I did. I was. I was
- 11:03Speaker 3: at like a house party when I was younger one time,
- 11:06Speaker 3: and the person hosting it, like their parents were there,
- 11:10Speaker 3: their parents are cool, they had friends there too. Whatever.
- 11:12Speaker 3: They were drinking, and there this girl's mom who I
- 11:17Speaker 3: was friends with was talking about how she just wants
- 11:20Speaker 3: like someone nice for her her daughter. And I was like,
- 11:24Speaker 3: how about this, if we're not, if neither one of
- 11:27Speaker 3: us i'm married at forty, then we'll go for it.
- 11:30Speaker 1: She goes, well, I don't want.
- 11:31Speaker 3: That, so I don't want to want to just marry
- 11:33Speaker 3: her because they didn't get anyone else.
- 11:34Speaker 1: And I was like, that's kind of fair enough.
- 11:36Speaker 3: That's a good point. It takes trying to do something
- 11:39Speaker 3: heroic act it just looks first this one you're gonna love.
- 11:46Speaker 3: How did you tell him he was just a friend?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Without actually telling him you don't because girls and guys
- 11:50Speaker 3: can't be friends.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Yes, yes, he's an avid listener.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:56Speaker 2: I messaged her back and I said, you want at life?
- 11:59Speaker 2: Who know what's up?
- 12:00Speaker 3: Let's send this a murder.
- 12:01Speaker 2: You live in the real world?
- 12:03Speaker 1: Is what you live in?
- 12:07Speaker 3: Okay?
- 12:07Speaker 4: How did you tell me it was just a friend
- 12:08Speaker 4: without I don't even know how to say it. Told
- 12:11Speaker 4: him about my type in boys, and he was the opposite.
- 12:14Speaker 4: That's mean, bro, that's intricate.
- 12:16Speaker 3: But I got to say, that's actually probably the least
- 12:18Speaker 3: hurtful way to do it, because, like I think that
- 12:23Speaker 3: that would work in a way where his feelings aren't
- 12:25Speaker 3: hurt that much. Like he's going to be like, oh,
- 12:26Speaker 3: I'm just not her type. Like now I know I
- 12:28Speaker 3: can't even go for it.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I'm going to say I'm going to be the girl
- 12:32Speaker 4: and say the type it's not you ready, I'm.
- 12:37Speaker 3: Already ready, I'm good.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I know exactly what I'm gonna say.
- 12:41Speaker 3: Don't take it away from me.
- 12:43Speaker 4: A six foot brown eyes, tanned dark skin, brown hair.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Not you close, no, no, no, no, all. You got
- 12:58Speaker 3: about four out of five, mate, or out of five
- 13:00Speaker 3: that first one. I hit that first one.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Right on the mark.
- 13:04Speaker 3: That's literally a boy's mindset. She would probably be like,
- 13:07Speaker 3: doesn't know the height, and she said six foot. I've
- 13:10Speaker 3: got one out of the five. That's all I need.
- 13:12Speaker 2: One out of five is better than zero out of five.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Buddy, I'll get her use exclamation points instead of x's.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Oh that was for a smiley face.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Girls know what they're doing.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Girls do know what they're doing. Back in the day,
- 13:25Speaker 1: if I got a smiley face, I was.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Still would be like, yeah, it's called this subliminal message,
- 13:29Speaker 3: sublime sublibe quote.
- 13:32Speaker 4: I don't want to date anyone right now. That's the
- 13:35Speaker 4: get our jail free card that everyone uses the friend zone.
- 13:38Speaker 1: It's like saying you're too nice.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not ready to date anyone.
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm not ready.
- 13:43Speaker 3: And then two weeks later she has a boyfriend. You
- 13:46Speaker 3: were just aside.
- 13:48Speaker 1: You weren't even aside. You weren't good enough to be
- 13:49Speaker 1: a side.
- 13:50Speaker 3: I didn't even want to don't even a garlic bread,
- 13:52Speaker 3: You're like you you weren't even the broccoli on my plate.
- 14:00Speaker 3: My god, that piece of letters that like falls off
- 14:02Speaker 3: when you're in that chicken snitzel. You know that, you
- 14:05Speaker 3: know that leftover gristle that I feed to my dog.
- 14:07Speaker 1: That's you.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yeah, how do you tell him he's just a friend
- 14:12Speaker 3: without actually telling him?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Quote you can have your hoodie back?
- 14:17Speaker 4: Oh no, if I give you a hoodie, I don't
- 14:20Speaker 4: want to back.
- 14:21Speaker 3: If we're not talking anymore.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Do you imagine imagine she's like, oh, here's your hoodie
- 14:24Speaker 1: and you go, no, you can keep it. She goes,
- 14:25Speaker 1: now you can.
- 14:27Speaker 2: I don't want it.
- 14:31Speaker 3: Oh that would kill me. It would kill me. D'd
- 14:34Speaker 3: be like, I see what this is. Now, just tell
- 14:36Speaker 3: me you hate me?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Just tell me.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Okay, going off one of the other ones, Will you
- 14:42Speaker 3: be my wingman? Tonight?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Fuck that Fuck that bro. That's menacing. That is menacing.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Oh this is actually this is a classic and you're
- 14:52Speaker 3: gonna hate it. But I think this has happened to
- 14:55Speaker 3: millions upon millions of poor guys. Okay. Quote I wish
- 15:00Speaker 3: I could find a boy like you. Oh I think
- 15:03Speaker 3: what do they mean by that? I think that has
- 15:05Speaker 3: happened to me before. I wish I could find a
- 15:07Speaker 3: guy like you. Yeah, I'm right here. I am a
- 15:09Speaker 3: guy like Yeah, that's what we think. I'm right here.
- 15:15Speaker 3: You know you could counter that with is I wonder
- 15:17Speaker 3: if a counter for that, a good one would be
- 15:20Speaker 3: him going yeah, would be good, wouldn't funk? I wish
- 15:23Speaker 3: I could find a girl like you. If that did,
- 15:26Speaker 3: like cut a counter kind of I reckon guy, she'd
- 15:29Speaker 3: be like, well now I want him yeah, and he'd
- 15:31Speaker 3: be like, yeah, I just wish IL find one like you.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Okay, my last one or I don't think anyone would
- 15:37Speaker 4: read onto this one, but let me okay, let me know,
- 15:39Speaker 4: hugging him with the arms around his body and not.
- 15:43Speaker 2: His neck, I reckon.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'd actually, it's around I don't know.
- 15:47Speaker 4: The body, and you don't like the body touch instead
- 15:49Speaker 4: of going around the neck.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Now, I don't know if i'd read that, But you
- 15:52Speaker 3: know what I would read if I got a hug
- 15:54Speaker 3: and she'd tap me.
- 15:54Speaker 1: On the back that pat on the bad friend. That's condescending.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Oh, I don't reckon, I'd read it because I get
- 15:59Speaker 4: too anxious touch like touching other people stress.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I'm not thinking about the place for me. And I
- 16:04Speaker 3: are about to meet a new person, and like, if
- 16:06Speaker 3: it's a dude, we know we're going to shake the
- 16:08Speaker 3: hands comfortable. Yeah. If we meet a new person and
- 16:10Speaker 3: we're like, is this girl a hugger upon greeting. We're
- 16:13Speaker 3: kind of like one of us needs to either greet
- 16:16Speaker 3: first and have the balls to not hug, go in
- 16:18Speaker 3: for a handshake, or like just be like like, let's
- 16:21Speaker 3: say I meet meet someone first, all right, and they're
- 16:23Speaker 3: going for a hug and I do it.
- 16:25Speaker 1: In his head, I know he's.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Like, fuck you.
- 16:27Speaker 1: You know, we have to hug her every time we
- 16:28Speaker 1: see her. I hate that.
- 16:29Speaker 3: I know you hate it. I hate it too, because
- 16:31Speaker 3: when you do it, I mean my head, I'm like,
- 16:32Speaker 3: fucking hellot.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I got one more.
- 16:37Speaker 3: How did you tell him he was just a friend
- 16:38Speaker 3: Without actually telling him? I started calling him big fella,
- 16:42Speaker 3: big fella, smell fella, big fella. I like, big fella
- 16:46Speaker 3: is worse than being called like Champ or.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Something like that, big fella.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I told an old boss of mine once that I
- 16:52Speaker 3: started calling him champ as an insult, and he didn't
- 16:55Speaker 3: understand yet, and then I explained it to him, and
- 16:57Speaker 3: he he thought it was the funniest thing. He cackling
- 17:01Speaker 3: and then he's like fifty something. He was cackling. And
- 17:04Speaker 3: then every time I posted like someone on Facebook or Instagram,
- 17:07Speaker 3: he'd come a nice photos chain that's pretty funny actually,
- 17:13Speaker 3: and I was just like, funk, I wish I'd never told.
- 17:15Speaker 4: That the context is meant to be used in for
- 17:17Speaker 4: like an adult call. Yeah, like what's the age that
- 17:20Speaker 4: a parent or like an adult can stop calling us buddy?
- 17:23Speaker 4: And it becomes like condescending, like because go to the
- 17:26Speaker 4: gym and somebodys. How's you day, buddy?
- 17:27Speaker 3: I was like, I don't know. Fuck, I don't know.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I like that.
- 17:29Speaker 1: It's like, you're twenty eight.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm twenty four. Yeah, we're basically piers. You
- 17:36Speaker 3: didn't finish school, not that I can say I did,
- 17:38Speaker 3: But it's like, what's that age bracket? Yeah, that's actually
- 17:42Speaker 3: such a good question, like how far how much older
- 17:44Speaker 3: than you? Like if I get called buddy by a grandparent, Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 3: I guess I still like it. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 17:49Speaker 3: I'm so cute, but like, if you call me buddy,
- 17:52Speaker 3: I'd be off. I'd be like, I'm older than You're
- 17:54Speaker 3: ready to record, buddy? Not that?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Okay, everybody up next is dilemmas. You know what to
- 18:08Speaker 4: do link in the description of the episode or linking
- 18:11Speaker 4: bio of Instagram scroll the bottom.
- 18:12Speaker 3: It will say weekly dilemmas. Here we go.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I am twenty and my boyfriend is twenty four. We've
- 18:17Speaker 4: been together for nearly a year now. We barely ever
- 18:20Speaker 4: argue and always laugh together, and he is perfect. However,
- 18:24Speaker 4: I work in a heavily male dominated industry and he
- 18:27Speaker 4: always makes comments and makes it clear that he doesn't
- 18:29Speaker 4: feel comfortable with it. Due to the nature of my job,
- 18:32Speaker 4: I often have to work with events outside of working hours,
- 18:34Speaker 4: and this always causes a lot of friction between us
- 18:37Speaker 4: due to me being outside working with men for a
- 18:40Speaker 4: lot of hours. His excuse is I trust you but
- 18:43Speaker 4: not other people. We've heard that before. He often causes
- 18:46Speaker 4: arguments about this if I have an upcoming event. When
- 18:50Speaker 4: I'm at the event, he'll be very blunt and argumentative
- 18:52Speaker 4: with me, which causes me to feel like I'm doing
- 18:54Speaker 4: something so wrong and I end up apologizing and trying
- 18:57Speaker 4: to make it up to him. He doesn't like it
- 18:59Speaker 4: when I wear certain items of clothing when he isn't there,
- 19:02Speaker 4: and he finds it disrespectful.
- 19:04Speaker 3: What should I do?
- 19:05Speaker 4: What do you think is a good point to bring up?
- 19:07Speaker 4: And am I being disrespectful? I always text him throughout
- 19:10Speaker 4: the events and let him know an EdVance if anything's
- 19:12Speaker 4: coming up, so he doesn't feel blindsided.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Oh, man, like hearing it. I hate it. I don't
- 19:20Speaker 1: like that at one single bit.
- 19:22Speaker 3: And obviously I understand that, you know, other than that,
- 19:30Speaker 3: he's probably fine, but he just doesn't like what you
- 19:33Speaker 3: do for work.
- 19:34Speaker 1: But I think that's crazy. So she does.
- 19:37Speaker 3: She's in event management, yeah, and she works with it's
- 19:40Speaker 3: heavily it's maleperformers.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah wait, wait are you working events with naked dudes?
- 19:46Speaker 4: But still like she's organizing the whole event like they're colleagues.
- 19:52Speaker 4: It's more she doesn't have she contractly obliged not to
- 19:55Speaker 4: get over him evens as well, like it be illegal,
- 19:57Speaker 4: it would be illegal. But also I want to I
- 19:58Speaker 4: wanted to say, firstly, I think she was maybe being
- 20:02Speaker 4: a bit clouded because of love. Don't ever let any
- 20:04Speaker 4: guy tell you that you can't wear something or you
- 20:06Speaker 4: can't do something like that. Hey you're comfortable, Yeah, yeah,
- 20:09Speaker 4: that's the only thing that matters. Be comfortable.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Yeah. I wonder if like he's fucking insecure and it's
- 20:14Speaker 3: not your problem, Like he's very clearly very insecure.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Yeah, Like I'm.
- 20:17Speaker 3: Assuming one of the reasons that, like I'm just assuming this,
- 20:21Speaker 3: But she must be working with hot dudes, all right,
- 20:25Speaker 3: and he thinks that they are better than him.
- 20:27Speaker 1: True, it's not up to It's like they don't necessarily
- 20:29Speaker 1: have to be hot.
- 20:30Speaker 3: He could just think that.
- 20:30Speaker 1: No, yeah, true.
- 20:31Speaker 3: But and like the same thing is, like you know,
- 20:34Speaker 3: it's not fully up to you for to make him
- 20:37Speaker 3: feel secure, Like use these things you can do as
- 20:40Speaker 3: a partner to make the other one feel secure. Security
- 20:42Speaker 3: comes from yourself though. Also he needs to be secure
- 20:44Speaker 3: in his own like his own body, his and mind
- 20:46Speaker 3: his own fucking life before it's like you have any
- 20:49Speaker 3: partner doing that for him.
- 20:50Speaker 4: That's one of those checkboxes you tick off before you
- 20:52Speaker 4: get into a relationship. Yeah, you're like proud and contempted
- 20:56Speaker 4: yourself the person you are. You don't need someone else
- 20:59Speaker 4: to validate you. And he's obviously he probably thinks his
- 21:01Speaker 4: girlfriend's better than anything. She can run off at any moment,
- 21:04Speaker 4: which is a terrible dynamic to have it in relationship.
- 21:07Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, did it say anything about in there,
- 21:09Speaker 3: like how she did she did she say she really
- 21:11Speaker 3: wants to stay with him? Yeah, well she said he's
- 21:13Speaker 3: perfect otherwise. Yeah, been together for a year.
- 21:15Speaker 4: We barely our unit and laugh and everything is perfect
- 21:17Speaker 4: other than this one thing.
- 21:18Speaker 3: But it's bigger than one thing. It's a few things.
- 21:20Speaker 3: It's a few events obviously, or every event where I
- 21:22Speaker 3: think she's doing everything right, like telling him in advance
- 21:25Speaker 3: when events coming up. Sure, more than she needs to do.
- 21:28Speaker 3: It's her job.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, exactly. He should be able to respect and
- 21:31Speaker 4: understand it. That's what she does.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm trying to think here, like what's her way
- 21:37Speaker 3: to bring it up? Where? You know, I think I'm
- 21:41Speaker 3: sure every topic has been brought up, and every single
- 21:44Speaker 3: like every every every argument to make him feel secure
- 21:47Speaker 3: has probably been been brought up. You know, like she's
- 21:49Speaker 3: she's she's walking on eggshells. I think he's got to
- 21:51Speaker 3: be put in his place a little bit.
- 21:52Speaker 4: Yeah, Like, I know, a relationship is two people, but
- 21:55Speaker 4: like at a certain time it becomes a hymn problem, like, hey,
- 21:59Speaker 4: this is my job. You ever trust me or you don't,
- 22:03Speaker 4: Like I'm not getting with any other boys, this is
- 22:05Speaker 4: your problem. You need to deal with it and just
- 22:07Speaker 4: trust me. I think that's what you should say.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that. I reckon next time he's like
- 22:11Speaker 1: trying to you know, and.
- 22:13Speaker 4: He's been all like a blunt and stuff when your
- 22:15Speaker 4: work and you're trying to concentrate and he's been a
- 22:16Speaker 4: little dog like that's just immature too.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I think in this scenario you shouldn't. I know, it's
- 22:21Speaker 3: really it's so hard to disconnect from. But I think,
- 22:25Speaker 3: like I do genuinely think he's acting like a child. Yeah,
- 22:29Speaker 3: so I reckon something you could try is if he's
- 22:34Speaker 3: like acting like a child, tell him like you're going
- 22:37Speaker 3: to treat him like a child, and say to him
- 22:38Speaker 3: if he's having a little tantrum even of a text,
- 22:41Speaker 3: I don't care if you do whatever the phone or
- 22:42Speaker 3: of a text. If you just if he's like trying
- 22:44Speaker 3: to make you feel bad of a text and he's
- 22:45Speaker 3: being blunt, you can just be like, once you like seriously,
- 22:49Speaker 3: talk to me when you're done having a tantrum, Like
- 22:50Speaker 3: there's not that he needs to be told that this
- 22:52Speaker 3: is a tantrum. Like he thinks he's in the right,
- 22:53Speaker 3: Like he doesn't understand what he's doing is like selfish
- 22:56Speaker 3: as fuck. Yeah, so I think that because this is.
- 22:58Speaker 1: The way you make money.
- 23:00Speaker 3: This is how you make a living, you know, this
- 23:02Speaker 3: is how you genuinely make your money to pay rent,
- 23:07Speaker 3: Like it's ridiculous. This is your fucking career if you
- 23:11Speaker 3: and like he doesn't understand because he's too insecureing himself.
- 23:14Speaker 3: I think one thing you can try is so next
- 23:16Speaker 3: time he's having a tantrum, just say, hey, talk to
- 23:19Speaker 3: me when you're done having your tantrum, because this is
- 23:21Speaker 3: my job, this is how I make money. And what
- 23:22Speaker 3: you're doing is super selfish and I'm not going to
- 23:25Speaker 3: baby you. Yeah, and this isn't a healthy relationship, no,
- 23:28Speaker 3: like at all, well in that sense, no, not at all,
- 23:30Speaker 3: because he's insecure.
- 23:31Speaker 1: So I think you need to try and call him
- 23:32Speaker 1: out on it.
- 23:32Speaker 3: And then it's like depending on his actions based off
- 23:35Speaker 3: of that, because I think what you're doing if you
- 23:37Speaker 3: said to him, yep, I think she's already done enough
- 23:40Speaker 3: at this point due for him. Yah, I say, I tantrum,
- 23:43Speaker 3: let me know when you're done, and if you fucking
- 23:44Speaker 3: reacts bad, reacts bad, and he might break up with you,
- 23:47Speaker 3: but it's going to be better for you in the end.
- 23:48Speaker 3: I'm even thinking what men and Jake do. We're both
- 23:50Speaker 3: in relationships.
- 23:51Speaker 4: We record for like majority of a day and we'll
- 23:53Speaker 4: put our phones on do not disturb. Yeah, imagine if
- 23:56Speaker 4: this girl put her phone on do not Disturb it work,
- 23:58Speaker 4: I bet you her boyfriend would go bully.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Stick Fuck he needs to.
- 24:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's I'm saying, Like, if he's going to do that,
- 24:04Speaker 4: maybe that's a little wake up call.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Like this guy is pretty toxic.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, definitely sounds pretty toxic.
- 24:09Speaker 3: Yeah, like you can't trust him for eight hours when
- 24:10Speaker 3: he works a work sorry, Like I don't know. I
- 24:12Speaker 3: feel like i'd understand a little more if he was
- 24:15Speaker 3: if he was insecure, but he didn't make you feel
- 24:18Speaker 3: bad about it, Like he just was kind of like, oh,
- 24:20Speaker 3: you know, it makes me a bit insecure, just so
- 24:24Speaker 3: you knew.
- 24:25Speaker 1: And then he didn't make you feel.
- 24:26Speaker 3: Bad about it, just actions, and then you're knowing that
- 24:29Speaker 3: he's insecure, you just kind of do what you're doing already,
- 24:32Speaker 3: where you just like, you know, tell him stuff because
- 24:34Speaker 3: like being honest with starts always like the right thing,
- 24:36Speaker 3: and just like letting him know what you're doing. But
- 24:38Speaker 3: the way he's acting is just fucking ridiculous.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Yeah, I just think believe it on be you dress
- 24:44Speaker 4: however you want, do your job to the best of
- 24:46Speaker 4: your ability, and tell him this is how it is
- 24:49Speaker 4: yeah or wrong.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I also wack So's he's clearly never been put in
- 24:52Speaker 3: his place by anyone. I think he was gas lying
- 24:54Speaker 3: here a little bit. He's yeah, he's never been put
- 24:55Speaker 3: in his place by anyone, And if you do it,
- 24:58Speaker 3: he might have this like a assive tantrum, And I like,
- 25:02Speaker 3: you just have to see what happens, because obviously, if
- 25:04Speaker 3: you've got to ask yourself, if this doesn't get fixed,
- 25:08Speaker 3: would you even want to be with him forever? And
- 25:10Speaker 3: if you in your head, you're like, no, I wouldn't
- 25:11Speaker 3: want to be with him forever if this doesn't get fixed.
- 25:13Speaker 3: So what you have to do is you have to
- 25:14Speaker 3: just almost push him to the edge where he makes
- 25:17Speaker 3: a massive mistake in blowing up for no fucking reason,
- 25:20Speaker 3: breaks up with you or something, and then he comes
- 25:22Speaker 3: crawling back and he's like, I'm so sorry, I'm so insecure,
- 25:24Speaker 3: And then you're gonna be like, yeah, you fucking are
- 25:26Speaker 3: and just be like no, not impressed, like fuck off exactly. Yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 3: I think so we'll cut through it.
- 25:30Speaker 1: But I think that's true. I know it's so hard
- 25:32Speaker 1: to do when you love him, it is. It's the
- 25:34Speaker 1: hardest thing in the world.
- 25:35Speaker 3: To do. I know it is the hardest thing in
- 25:37Speaker 3: the world to do, but you have to like ask yourself,
- 25:41Speaker 3: is it that or is it just the gonna keep
- 25:43Speaker 3: going the way it's going, Like what would you profession?
- 25:45Speaker 4: You're a year in, like, this is probably a good
- 25:46Speaker 4: time to do it before he gets three, four, five
- 25:48Speaker 4: years in.
- 25:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and then you see start holding on more exactly.
- 25:57Speaker 4: All right, Jake, We are both in relationship. We tell
- 26:00Speaker 4: stories all the time. This is one of my I
- 26:04Speaker 4: want to see if you agree one of my realizations.
- 26:06Speaker 4: It's a very handy tip to have in a relationship.
- 26:10Speaker 4: I want to know if you use it or if
- 26:11Speaker 4: you agree or disagree with me, because it's a little
- 26:14Speaker 4: bit left field, but I use it quite often and
- 26:17Speaker 4: my girlfriend does too.
- 26:18Speaker 3: After I've we've had a fight. To do with fights.
- 26:20Speaker 4: So it's all about timing and people's emotions. So it's
- 26:26Speaker 4: a tricky thing to understand because say something you and
- 26:29Speaker 4: your girlfriend or anyone listening, you and your boyfriend, girlfriend,
- 26:31Speaker 4: what any dynamic something happens and one of you is
- 26:35Speaker 4: really really upset. There's something beautiful about timing and rather
- 26:39Speaker 4: than the natural instinct of a human is to deal
- 26:42Speaker 4: with the problem right there and then, but I realize
- 26:46Speaker 4: and me and my girlfriend implement it that when one
- 26:49Speaker 4: of us are heated in a really bad mood or
- 26:51Speaker 4: something like that, that it's better to just let it
- 26:54Speaker 4: process and sit and figure it out ourselves a little
- 26:57Speaker 4: bit before we bring it to the other person and
- 26:59Speaker 4: talk about it. Yeah, because we've had our two biggest
- 27:03Speaker 4: fights because we just kept trying to solve the issue
- 27:05Speaker 4: and she was heeded, I was heated, and just going
- 27:08Speaker 4: back and forth, back and forth, and we're saying things
- 27:10Speaker 4: we do it didn't really mean. But now if one
- 27:13Speaker 4: of us has something that just really really bad, or
- 27:14Speaker 4: like someone pisses the other one off, we sit on it,
- 27:17Speaker 4: let us process the feeling and take away that initial
- 27:20Speaker 4: anger and resentment and that you sort of thing, and
- 27:23Speaker 4: now it's sort of then we can talk about it
- 27:25Speaker 4: openly and honestly and work through the problem. So a
- 27:27Speaker 4: lot of relationship issues is all about timing, and it
- 27:29Speaker 4: comes down to also being tired when you want to
- 27:31Speaker 4: do it fuck and things like that.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Boy, yeah, this is no, this is crazy. Yeah, I
- 27:36Speaker 1: think this is really good.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I don't implement that, but I think
- 27:41Speaker 3: that that is really good.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think that's great. Wow.
- 27:45Speaker 4: It happened with we had our first our first fight,
- 27:48Speaker 4: which is our biggest one, was like maybe six months
- 27:50Speaker 4: into dating, and I said from the start I wanted
- 27:53Speaker 4: to go home and sit on it. And she's like, no,
- 27:55Speaker 4: you can't leave when we're like this angry and angry
- 27:58Speaker 4: at each other. And I was like, no, I just
- 27:59Speaker 4: want to go home and like sort myself out before
- 28:01Speaker 4: I talked to you about it, and she couldn't.
- 28:02Speaker 3: We process that. I didn't have this implementation yet.
- 28:06Speaker 4: But I had that realization after because after we settled down,
- 28:08Speaker 4: we went to the beach and didn't talk to each
- 28:09Speaker 4: other for a bit and then we just talked about
- 28:11Speaker 4: We talked about it after it. I was like, fuck,
- 28:13Speaker 4: it's easy to talk when there's at these emotions, like
- 28:15Speaker 4: at the top.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Of my heart, yo, Because sometimes in the heat of
- 28:19Speaker 3: the moment, even though even if you remember, like you
- 28:22Speaker 3: even if you actively remember it's me and you against
- 28:24Speaker 3: the problem, not you and me against each other, it's
- 28:27Speaker 3: still so difficult to I guess, implement it. You know,
- 28:31Speaker 3: when you're in it, you can't see it, and it's
- 28:32Speaker 3: always just like you've done this to me and it
- 28:34Speaker 3: makes me feel this bad and it's always you, but
- 28:35Speaker 3: it's not never the wee thing yoh so what so
- 28:39Speaker 3: do you wouldn't believe in? How Like some people are like, no,
- 28:43Speaker 3: never go to a bit angry.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Yeah, so that's like, that's the rebuttal with some people
- 28:46Speaker 4: need to because some people can't go away from the
- 28:48Speaker 4: situation and deal with that anger. They have to resolve
- 28:50Speaker 4: it before they can leave, which I can understand to extent.
- 28:53Speaker 4: But for me, I find it so much harder to
- 28:55Speaker 4: resolve that problem if we're both heated and we're in
- 28:58Speaker 4: it and our heads are like all fuzzy and we're
- 28:59Speaker 4: just like hating each other.
- 29:01Speaker 3: That's a very very good point. I take a long
- 29:03Speaker 3: time to process things too. For a long time in.
- 29:06Speaker 4: An argument, A boy's coping mechanism is to go silent
- 29:10Speaker 4: when and girls hate that because they want to talk
- 29:12Speaker 4: about it. Yeah it's that weird, so they want to
- 29:14Speaker 4: talk about it and they say things, and then we
- 29:15Speaker 4: don't want to talk about at all, and then you just
- 29:17Speaker 4: fucking hate each other even more.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 4: So if we both go away from it, I process
- 29:21Speaker 4: how I'm feeling so I can articulate what I want
- 29:23Speaker 4: to say yeah, and she doesn't get as angry as well. Yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 4: and then we come back together and have a normal
- 29:28Speaker 4: conversation and we work through it, and that's how we
- 29:30Speaker 4: deal with our problems. Fuck, that's very very healthy, healthy, No, dude,
- 29:37Speaker 4: I like it's so basically okay. So there is people
- 29:39Speaker 4: that you see these like old people in interviews that
- 29:42Speaker 4: are giving They're like, what's your best advice to have
- 29:44Speaker 4: a long marriage?
- 29:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and how that will be like, never go to
- 29:47Speaker 3: bed salty. Yeah, So basically so you'd be happy to go.
- 29:50Speaker 3: We're not happy to but you would go to bed
- 29:51Speaker 3: salty if that meant that you get some time to
- 29:54Speaker 3: I would.
- 29:55Speaker 4: I'm but I could sit on it for a night
- 29:57Speaker 4: or when I did seed it an hour for my
- 29:59Speaker 4: girlfriend still a different time for those things. I could
- 30:01Speaker 4: happily just spill on it for a night, but I
- 30:02Speaker 4: know she doesn't like to go to bed with that
- 30:04Speaker 4: in the back of it. I'm like, okay, yeah, so
- 30:05Speaker 4: if we had a fight, I don't know, three o'clock, Well,
- 30:07Speaker 4: so let's just sit on it on like even if
- 30:09Speaker 4: it's just different sides of the house. Yeah, Like we
- 30:11Speaker 4: just go I go on my computer and she goes
- 30:13Speaker 4: and watch TV for a couple of hours, and then
- 30:14Speaker 4: we come back.
- 30:15Speaker 3: It's just as simple as that. Yeah, yea, yea, yeah,
- 30:16Speaker 3: yea yeah yeah. And then yeah you come back and
- 30:18Speaker 3: they're like there's no because you leave, heartbreaks up.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, yeah, you're about to get someone. Yeah he
- 30:26Speaker 4: loves there and someone's like affected, they love me.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Like fuck fulking. Like someone can put you in a
- 30:30Speaker 1: bench press and.
- 30:30Speaker 3: You're pring bro yeaheah yeah, but you go, yeah, you
- 30:33Speaker 3: settle down and take a breather. I really really like that.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I think that would be very that could be very
- 30:38Speaker 3: well implemented. I was thinking about it.
- 30:41Speaker 4: I was like, this is because when Cassi's friends called
- 30:43Speaker 4: her and something having a relationship and Cassie was talking
- 30:45Speaker 4: about time and I was and then she goes, oh,
- 30:46Speaker 4: he told me about it.
- 30:46Speaker 3: I was like I did too. I forgot about that.
- 30:49Speaker 3: I was like, this is a really good tip.
- 30:51Speaker 4: But then I was like, maybe some other people might
- 30:53Speaker 4: think it's a good tip too, because like, yeah, you
- 30:55Speaker 4: know when you do things and you just sort of
- 30:56Speaker 4: take it for grand and think everybody does the same thing.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it was just one of those things I was like,
- 30:59Speaker 3: doesn't everyone do that I have.
- 31:01Speaker 1: I have this like thing where I like a cute
- 31:06Speaker 1: lot of humans. I want I want to solve the problem.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Yeah, like I want to solve the problem because, like
- 31:12Speaker 3: I just put you out, I prefer it to be solved.
- 31:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I'm just like, oh, I know.
- 31:16Speaker 3: Sitting on it doesn't feel good because it's like something
- 31:18Speaker 3: in the back of my mind is like, we have
- 31:19Speaker 3: to fix this, and we have to fix this now.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So some sort of talent and being able to.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Be like they're going to be mad at me for
- 31:24Speaker 3: a few hours or a day or a few days,
- 31:27Speaker 3: but we need to like really sit on it and
- 31:30Speaker 3: think about how we both feel about it.
- 31:32Speaker 1: And then but when you come.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Back to it, do you just like say how each
- 31:37Speaker 3: of you feel? And what if it's like feelings just
- 31:40Speaker 3: fully haven't change. Now you both just have these wicked
- 31:43Speaker 3: good arguments because you've had time to think. You both
- 31:45Speaker 3: have wicked arguments that that are gonna that are backing
- 31:48Speaker 3: up both sides. And at what point are you like,
- 31:50Speaker 3: we're never disagreeing, Sorry, we're never going to agree on this. Well,
- 31:53Speaker 3: there are always going to be points we never agree
- 31:55Speaker 3: on things. But I think that time taking away from
- 31:58Speaker 3: it takes away that initial fight and fire that you
- 32:01Speaker 3: have when it first initially happens. That's all it works.
- 32:04Speaker 4: This might not work for everybody, but it works for
- 32:07Speaker 4: us because I'm thinking that because I've always had and
- 32:09Speaker 4: I can't. I can't think and articulate my thoughts. I
- 32:12Speaker 4: just want to go silent. That's why I just want.
- 32:14Speaker 3: To go nonverbal.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no, I can't.
- 32:16Speaker 4: And then it makes a situation so much where I'm like,
- 32:18Speaker 4: I just need some time to process it.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I'm terrible in that situation because I go silent and
- 32:22Speaker 3: then it's like, well, do you have anything to say?
- 32:24Speaker 3: And it's like, well, I'm gonna have something to say,
- 32:26Speaker 3: but I literally can't process it that quick. Yeah, like
- 32:29Speaker 3: I have nothing to say right now, but I one
- 32:30Speaker 3: hundred percent will have something to say. But I need
- 32:32Speaker 3: to think about everything that was said, and I need
- 32:34Speaker 3: to process it because right now I don't understand how
- 32:37Speaker 3: you feel, But in five minutes or ten minutes, I
- 32:41Speaker 3: could understand. Now I'm yeah, that's how I'm processing it,
- 32:44Speaker 3: Like stuff needs to be explained because I don't know,
- 32:48Speaker 3: Like it's no excuse, but yeah, no, I definitely I'm
- 32:52Speaker 3: one that needs time and I'm definitely got And it's
- 32:54Speaker 3: sort of also like it feels kind of awkward to
- 32:56Speaker 3: bring it up after it being a while because sometimes
- 32:58Speaker 3: you just brush it under the door mat and if
- 33:00Speaker 3: you're both happy after like a couple of hours.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, you both kind of like were stupid.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that sometimes happens.
- 33:05Speaker 4: But also you need like that healthy little outlet system
- 33:07Speaker 4: like me and my girlfriends call it. You want to
- 33:08Speaker 4: have a check in, You need to try and like
- 33:10Speaker 4: you have like a little system there where you can
- 33:11Speaker 4: openly talk about your feelings the way we call it
- 33:13Speaker 4: a check in.
- 33:13Speaker 3: But because I like, let's have let's have a chat.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yeah, like you just have that there so you don't
- 33:17Speaker 4: have to be having something like awkward like just standing
- 33:18Speaker 4: there and be like so this.
- 33:19Speaker 3: Is what made me feel? Like Yeah, so you think
- 33:22Speaker 3: it's a little awkward sometimes to go away for a
- 33:24Speaker 3: few hours and then come back and bring it back up.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Yes, So it's.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Like you go away and then you make it yeah okay,
- 33:30Speaker 3: because I can I can see how that could be
- 33:31Speaker 3: a bit awkward where you you're in a heated argument,
- 33:35Speaker 3: you can't figure it out, so you go, look like,
- 33:37Speaker 3: let's just both take an hour or two to see
- 33:40Speaker 3: how we feel. And then when you're unheeded, you're unheeded. Yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 3: you know, it's like you don't feel like talking about
- 33:45Speaker 3: it anymore because it took so much energy. It takes energy,
- 33:48Speaker 3: like mental energy to argue, and so then when you
- 33:51Speaker 3: do come back, you're like, I honestly would rather just
- 33:53Speaker 3: like sit down and watch a movie and cuddle you
- 33:55Speaker 3: then keep arguing, and sometimes it just gets forgotten.
- 33:58Speaker 4: But sometimes that's all it needs, is well, like the
- 34:01Speaker 4: problem is the problem is YouTube being so heated. Yeah, well,
- 34:04Speaker 4: like sometimes you just need to hug it out. Yeah,
- 34:07Speaker 4: and one of you says I'm sorry, But in that
- 34:08Speaker 4: moment when you're heated, they won't say sorry.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Yeah fuck no, they believe what they're saying. Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 34:14Speaker 3: I've done it before.
- 34:14Speaker 4: I've been like, has it ever clicked when you when
- 34:16Speaker 4: you're in an argument and you're like, holy shit, I
- 34:18Speaker 4: am being fucking wrong here, oh yeah, y yeah yeah yea,
- 34:21Speaker 4: yeah I was on and you still I would have
- 34:23Speaker 4: just kept going.
- 34:23Speaker 3: I've got a double down on myself. Yeah no, no,
- 34:25Speaker 3: I am very that's what really, very very rarely right,
- 34:27Speaker 3: yeah exactly, Yeah, yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm just.
- 34:30Speaker 3: I'm about as stupid as they come fast. I actually
- 34:33Speaker 3: know what could be Patrick, Yeah, I might need that
- 34:37Speaker 3: pink jumper. Maybe that's what it's throw. That's what it's throw. Yeah,
- 34:41Speaker 3: but that was me tip.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that tip.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Really good tip.
