- 2:06Speaker 1: four point five. Didn't even to ask you the best
- 2:08Speaker 1: part of your day, Cassidy? What was it?
- 2:10Speaker 3: I had a lovely audition to do today and whether
- 2:14Speaker 3: or not I get it, that's besides the point for Marvel.
- 2:18Speaker 3: No for a big series coming out soon or I
- 2:22Speaker 3: can't try.
- 2:22Speaker 5: You any more than that.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Unfortunately, did you sign in India? Yes?
- 2:25Speaker 3: Okay, But I a while ago I learned that it's
- 2:29Speaker 3: not about if you get the job or not.
- 2:30Speaker 5: It's about the fact that I get to play for.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Though that half an hour, that hour that I do
- 2:36Speaker 3: that audition solved him. Yeah, and I think that's so true.
- 2:41Speaker 3: So I just had so much fun.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I was going to ask you more about your character
- 2:45Speaker 1: and about but it's fine because it's India. I got you.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It's okay, It's fine.
- 2:49Speaker 5: What was the best part of yours?
- 2:51Speaker 1: Do you know that sometimes in life you just find
- 2:52Speaker 1: these little pleasures in the smallest of things, Like the
- 2:56Speaker 1: smallest of things. Some people find pleasure in you know,
- 2:59Speaker 1: that the litle bit of sleep in your eye and
- 3:01Speaker 1: they just just breaking that off. People find pleasure in that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Mine is just getting things sorted in, like a couple
- 3:09Speaker 1: of big see through containers from Mumbos with a labeling
- 3:14Speaker 1: gun okay, yure, I didn't know I enjoyed that so much.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Is it because I've crossed the forty threshold that I
- 3:20Speaker 1: enjoyed that moment today?
- 3:23Speaker 5: I don't think so.
- 3:24Speaker 3: I think I think anyone at any age can get
- 3:28Speaker 3: some sort of pleasure from like accomplishment and clearing out
- 3:32Speaker 3: their space, and so I think that's maybe what it was.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I just it just felt so good to have these things.
- 3:38Speaker 1: They were packed, that were labeled. You know this that
- 3:41Speaker 1: label thing. Oh yeah, that's yes. So a friend of
- 3:44Speaker 1: mine just lent it to me and now I can
- 3:47Speaker 1: do like little little labels and things, and I want
- 3:49Speaker 1: to put it away. I know exactly what's in the
- 3:51Speaker 1: box based on the label. It's the best thing. Ever.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Don't you have these small things that in your life
- 3:57Speaker 1: you just feel like it's a pleasure. My other thing
- 3:59Speaker 1: is that I have an app thanks to producer Pietrice.
- 4:01Speaker 1: He said, you must get admit. I never knew what
- 4:03Speaker 1: it was before. Never I do know what it is,
- 4:06Speaker 1: all right, I got admitt There's nothing more pleasurable then
- 4:10Speaker 1: going to the boom and canal walk and watching it
- 4:12Speaker 1: just open in front of you without you touching a button.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It's like the universe has opened up to me.
- 4:17Speaker 3: You turn into the Vulture from Twilight. You just look
- 4:20Speaker 3: down on everyone exactly how.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You're are you still pressing a button there? How could
- 4:26Speaker 1: you just boom just lifted itself for me? Jommed. That's
- 4:30Speaker 1: that sort of feels that I do have.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I do have simple pleasures. I am but a girl
- 4:36Speaker 3: so popping a pimple or a blackhead, let me tell you.
- 4:45Speaker 1: But hold on im yourself with someone else. Are you
- 4:47Speaker 1: one of those.
- 4:49Speaker 3: I don't need to I don't need to like get
- 4:51Speaker 3: those dubus ones, not like the doc that's a little
- 4:54Speaker 3: bit crazy.
- 4:55Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I get a little bit like. But if
- 4:58Speaker 5: you've got that.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Like one black that's been sitting at the corner of
- 5:01Speaker 3: your eye on your nose, and then it just comes
- 5:03Speaker 3: out perfectly and it comes up in that little sorry
- 5:07Speaker 3: trigger warning you have if you.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Haven't a late lunch. Sorry, mate, I'm so sorry you
- 5:14Speaker 1: are that is.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Oh if you get an ingrown hair man and sorry,
- 5:20Speaker 3: why you celebrate?
- 5:21Speaker 1: No, I'm gonna stop this right, I'm gonna go Oh gosh, sure,
- 5:29Speaker 1: I'd like to see you on a callous No no,
- 5:32Speaker 1: no no, no, no, no go there, don't go there, don't
- 5:34Speaker 1: go there. Or I just wanted to share that there
- 5:35Speaker 1: are little pleasures to be at daily and that's that's
- 5:37Speaker 1: a few of them. There we go and dusted h
- 5:40Speaker 1: And of course the best part of my day every
- 5:42Speaker 1: day is just being in your company and giving someone
- 5:44Speaker 1: like you an opportunity to share your story of achievement,
- 5:46Speaker 1: of accomplishment, a challenge that you overcome. I want to
- 5:49Speaker 1: hear your stories. It's Women's months, so be proud as

- 6:18Speaker 1: Four point five. So many great stories this week, Helen Nicole, Hi, welcome,
- 6:24Speaker 1: I am. I'm ready for you. I'm ready to hear
- 6:27Speaker 1: what you've overcome, the challenges you've faced, or something that
- 6:30Speaker 1: you've achieved recently. What is it?
- 6:33Speaker 7: So?
- 6:34Speaker 4: I think the challenges that I overcame was one year
- 6:37Speaker 4: in twenty eighteen when I was doing two jobs, one
- 6:41Speaker 4: year in the day, one in the evening, doing the
- 6:44Speaker 4: night school, and doing college honestestiday. So to study, work
- 6:49Speaker 4: and be a single.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Parent and a single parent and overcame that. But I
- 6:56Speaker 1: just that's a that's a lot to a lot. In
- 7:00Speaker 1: the moments where you thought you were not going to
- 7:03Speaker 1: make it, the moments where you struggled to even take
- 7:07Speaker 1: a breath to see people that you loved around you
- 7:10Speaker 1: because you were so busy. What pushed you through?
- 7:13Speaker 4: I think my son pushed me through, you know, to
- 7:15Speaker 4: Peter seen, because I got pregnant with him when I
- 7:19Speaker 4: was in matric Okay, so that made me not complete
- 7:22Speaker 4: school basically, and then I just pushed through.
- 7:26Speaker 1: And after that challenge, when you look back at twenty eighteen,
- 7:29Speaker 1: we look at twenty twenty six, how are you feeling
- 7:31Speaker 1: now after knowing that you overcame that. Oh that's good,
- 7:34Speaker 1: that's good. Where do you work?
- 7:36Speaker 4: I yeah, I am past mamatrich paramatric and my diploma
- 7:42Speaker 4: in a professional receptionist. So that was like a huge
- 7:47Speaker 4: mouth done.
- 7:48Speaker 1: And are you working in that field now?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Yes? Currently I'm working at Blueprint Promotions and I do
- 7:53Speaker 4: all the adminent souls love it.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Well? You sound happy. I just want to hear you happy. Yeah,
- 8:00Speaker 1: And that's why I'm giving you a two and a
- 8:01Speaker 1: half thousand rand cash back you superwoman.
- 8:03Speaker 8: Oh my word, thank you.
- 8:06Speaker 1: You're welcome, Nicole. Thank you for sharing. And I like
- 8:09Speaker 1: it when you can reflect on the things you've been through.
- 8:10Speaker 1: It's important. We have to own these moments in our
- 8:13Speaker 1: lives where we thought we wouldn't make it, but we
- 8:15Speaker 1: pushed through. We found a way. That's the strongest moments
- 8:19Speaker 1: in our lives we felt the weakest. So thank you
- 8:22Speaker 1: so much, Nicole, honestly, thank you. And continue being proud
- 8:26Speaker 1: of yourself. Please, that's the most important thing. And visit

- 9:11Speaker 1: If not, this is why we are here, because to
- 9:14Speaker 1: bring you some of the things that you need to hear. Cassidy, Yes,
- 9:19Speaker 1: oh gos, shall we be doing this again? We're doing
- 9:21Speaker 1: it again, Oh gosh, Cassidy car while you were working,
- 9:28Speaker 1: I was working for you, I know, and I was
- 9:30Speaker 1: devastated when I heard this wanted bit rental increases in
- 9:37Speaker 1: South Africa. No, no, and I heard one place where
- 9:42Speaker 1: the rental increase was so surprising, shocking even it literally
- 9:48Speaker 1: knocked me off my.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Feet at Sea Points.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Hey, James Deacons, same old vocals from the locals, just
- 10:03Speaker 1: for you, all right, the shock and awe. I told
- 10:08Speaker 1: you there was a rental increase that got me surprised.
- 10:10Speaker 1: It got me shocked.
- 10:12Speaker 3: I didn't know if at this capacity we could still
- 10:14Speaker 3: be increasing the rent but here we are.
- 10:17Speaker 1: I told you that it shocked me and surprised me.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Okay, so.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Sorry, No, it can't.
- 10:25Speaker 5: Be because you wouldn't be shocked.
- 10:27Speaker 1: No, that would be I would just be oh, another
- 10:29Speaker 1: one this month's okay. So rent is across the Africa.
- 10:34Speaker 1: We are suckling, especially in Cape Town. It's it's tough.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It is tough now. According to the latest pay Prop
- 10:40Speaker 1: Rental Index, there is a province in this country that
- 10:45Speaker 1: has a certain average rent that has risen. Surprisingly, this
- 10:52Speaker 1: province's average rent is seven. This province's rent went up
- 11:00Speaker 1: between the end of twenty twenty five and the first
- 11:02Speaker 1: quarter of twenty twenty six by one rand. It is
- 11:07Speaker 1: now seven five hundred and one rand average rent. That
- 11:12Speaker 1: province is the Free State. Are you okay? Why are
- 11:15Speaker 1: you frowning at me? What's wrong? I just thought i'd share.
- 11:20Speaker 1: If you are looking for property, maybe you're looking in
- 11:24Speaker 1: the wrong places.
- 11:25Speaker 3: You know.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Maybe we should have a satellite radio station for KFM
- 11:31Speaker 1: in the Free State. Then we can live in a
- 11:33Speaker 1: nice plot, you know what I mean? Nice little It's
- 11:36Speaker 1: only going to be increased one bucks, like one rand
- 11:38Speaker 1: for rental. Yeah, yeah, do you want to know the
- 11:43Speaker 1: Western Caps? Do you want to be disappointed? Okay? Do
- 11:46Speaker 1: you I mean, do you want to be disappointed?
- 11:48Speaker 3: I'm I'm gonna answer your question with a question. Do
- 11:50Speaker 3: I want to know the Western cap No?
- 11:52Speaker 1: You do not want to know the Western Capes?
- 11:55Speaker 5: Okay, give it to me.
- 11:55Speaker 1: The Western Cave remains the country's most expensive rental market.
- 11:58Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, we know this.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Do you want to mention where? No? No, don't. With
- 12:04Speaker 1: average monthly rent now sitting above twelve thousand ran, the
- 12:14Speaker 1: report says strong demand and the province continues to push prices.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I want to check something quickly, sorry, while I'm want
- 12:22Speaker 1: to air with you. Yes, is that average rent? Right?
- 12:27Speaker 1: I want to see something. It's getting very very quickly.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Bear with me. So you know the average salary gross
- 12:37Speaker 1: salary in the Western Cape it's twenty five thousand, and
- 12:42Speaker 1: then the average rent it's twelve thousand. Men, you do
- 12:46Speaker 1: the maths. Then it's on electricity, water, petrol. You know,
- 12:53Speaker 1: who'd do you know that one rand? That freestate increase
- 12:55Speaker 1: by That's what we left with. That's how it feels,
- 12:59Speaker 1: not even you're my world. Okay, so we're going too
- 13:03Speaker 1: free state then I think, so you just let me
- 13:05Speaker 1: know date, no problem, Shure, that's crazy. Sure, there was
- 13:11Speaker 1: a piece of audio. It was very shocking. It's all
- 13:14Speaker 1: over the interwebs. I'm not sure if you heard this clip.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Take her.
- 13:18Speaker 9: Listen to this, guys, guys, guys approach outside to buy
- 13:24Speaker 9: one hundred.
- 13:24Speaker 10: And fifty red.
- 13:25Speaker 5: It's as in.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Ten minutes Michael Card.
- 13:29Speaker 5: Okay, so I'm staying here.
- 13:30Speaker 11: My part was first in this box.
- 13:33Speaker 3: Kay.
- 13:33Speaker 12: Two people has already been held before I've been addressed.
- 13:36Speaker 5: They're paying them one hundreds.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Of your own outside of the police, shoot heavy, heavy
- 13:44Speaker 1: stuff over there. A woman went viral for that outcry
- 13:48Speaker 1: and a video she repeatedly said, I will not pay you,
- 13:52Speaker 1: alleging bribery at a certain department of Home Affairs for
- 13:56Speaker 1: fast tracks to get things done a bit quicker.
- 14:00Speaker 13: It is.
- 14:00Speaker 1: It is a scary time. But that has been doing
- 14:02Speaker 1: the rounds at the moment. Yeah, and it's not new either.
- 14:07Speaker 1: It's around not only I mean, there's also the certain
- 14:10Speaker 1: stops as well, and it's it's rough. I yes, it's
- 14:13Speaker 1: not just the Joe Burg thing, that little bribery thing.
- 14:15Speaker 3: No listen, I know, but but these conversations are so nuanced,
- 14:19Speaker 3: right because I know that I would never want to
- 14:22Speaker 3: pay someone for that bribe. But there's so many people
- 14:24Speaker 3: that go into it, like, oh, okay, fine, just let
- 14:26Speaker 3: it like get done. But what are you doing situations
- 14:29Speaker 3: like that? Because I commend her for doing that, So
- 14:31Speaker 3: they're stepping up calling them out like process, what's going on?
- 14:34Speaker 5: Are going on?
- 14:35Speaker 1: And now this is this went viral which gives you
- 14:37Speaker 1: a spotlight on that department and hopefully things will change. Sure,
- 14:40Speaker 1: that's what we are looking for. But just staying with
- 14:43Speaker 1: Home affairs for a second. All right, this is a
- 14:45Speaker 1: bit lighter. Don't worry. There's a thirty one year old
- 14:49Speaker 1: fan from Wellington, but the one in the Western Cape,
- 14:55Speaker 1: who has taken his love for New Zealand rugby to
- 14:58Speaker 1: a whole new level cassidy. He has legally changed his
- 15:02Speaker 1: name to honor the All Blacks who will be playing
- 15:04Speaker 1: the DHL Stormers by the way this Friday. Formerly a gentleman,
- 15:07Speaker 1: but they have Winston Small. He has now changed his
- 15:11Speaker 1: name to honor All Black and Maori culture. He has
- 15:16Speaker 1: legally changed his name at Home Affairs to Winnitana Mororicki
- 15:22Speaker 1: from Winston Small. The lifelong All Black supporter, says he's
- 15:25Speaker 1: back New Zealand since childhood. He admits this plenty of
- 15:29Speaker 1: family banter, but he's officially changed his name to reflect
- 15:31Speaker 1: a more all black name as opposed to a Western
- 15:35Speaker 1: Cape South African name. Have you ever loved something so
- 15:38Speaker 1: much Cassidy that you are willing to change your name
- 15:41Speaker 1: for it? Have you been so obsessed with something Cassidy
- 15:44Speaker 1: that you are willing to edit your name change it
- 15:47Speaker 1: to showcase how much you love for it?
- 15:49Speaker 14: Well, there are things that I do really like. Oh okay,
- 15:54Speaker 14: like what I really like Sultan Winnega Pringles. So why
- 15:58Speaker 14: don't you just change your name to Cassidy Pringle Nicholson.
- 16:02Speaker 5: I could.
- 16:02Speaker 1: That would be wonderful. Then you can show your allegiance
- 16:05Speaker 1: to it. They'll be like, where does Pringle come from? Well,
- 16:07Speaker 1: Salt Vinegar, FLA.
- 16:09Speaker 5: You must know that's it.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd probably change my name to call Chester Santiago wasty.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Okay, I need to address two things you may obviously
- 16:23Speaker 3: Chester is your dog.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Three things.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Chester is your dog, right, so I get that, and
- 16:30Speaker 3: you it's your firstborn, and but also you have three
- 16:33Speaker 3: other dogs I do, okay. The third one is did
- 16:37Speaker 3: you just give yourself another second name that has nothing
- 16:41Speaker 3: to do with this conversation?
- 16:43Speaker 8: Just for five?
- 16:44Speaker 1: The real Madrid Stadium is the Santiago Bernabeo. I just
- 16:49Speaker 1: I wanted to throw. My love for Chester comes from
- 16:51Speaker 1: Chester Bennington Lincoln Park lead singer. So I picked I'd
- 16:54Speaker 1: be called Chester Santiago Waste. It actually rolls off the
- 16:59Speaker 1: tongue if you think about it.
- 17:00Speaker 3: If I were to change my name, Carl Chester Santiago wasty,
- 17:03Speaker 3: that's correct. Prepare yourself. It will never be Carll Wasty
- 17:08Speaker 3: ever again. Oh really, you call me Cassidy Jade Nicholson.
- 17:12Speaker 3: I'm coming for you, Santiago Wasty.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I honor you by saying that, Yes, that's what I
- 17:19Speaker 1: found for you. Just imagine. So, Cassidy Pringle Nicholson, what's up?
- 17:23Speaker 1: That's what I have? Okay, all right, that's it all
- 17:27Speaker 1: we can do. How about Cassidy fund A Sultan Vinegar
- 17:30Speaker 1: Pringle Nicholson. I think that's better. That works better, but
- 17:35Speaker 1: more ambiguous.
- 17:36Speaker 5: No, I thunder Sultan Vinegar.
- 17:38Speaker 1: That sounds very good.
- 17:40Speaker 3: It feels like I might walk barefoot something, it doesn't matter.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Barefoot sounds good for you too, Maybe you and you

- 18:11Speaker 1: And don't figure Daphne Vunchups that lives down the road
- 18:14Speaker 1: as well. Yeah, yeah, she also changed her name for that.
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's very very good, lovely Cassidy fund the Sultan Vinegar,
- 18:20Speaker 1: Pringles Nicholson. And it's been an honor lovely chatting with you.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Oh it's rolling off the tongue now. I'm never gonna
- 18:26Speaker 1: I'm never gonna say anything else. This is very very good.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I love that. I can't believe we are here. I
- 18:32Speaker 1: love under Sultan Vinegar as a concept as well. This
- 18:36Speaker 1: is very very good. And you know what, now that
- 18:39Speaker 1: I know I should bring some to work for you.
- 18:42Speaker 3: You know what, I finish it in one setting. I
- 18:46Speaker 3: have no self control when it comes to singles.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Oh really, no, another message, here we go.
- 18:54Speaker 3: When my son was little, we called him Pringle McNugget
- 18:57Speaker 3: because only ate was Springles and McDonald's nuggets.

- 19:06Speaker 1: like an author would put a character in a.

- 19:13Speaker 1: Oh here's another one. There is a gentleman saying, my
- 19:16Speaker 1: new name would be melinsa baron for Nederberg.

- 19:40Speaker 1: is baby Steps on the flash drive and KFM ninety
- 19:43Speaker 1: four point five. Earlier I shared a story of a
- 19:47Speaker 1: thirty one year old rugby fan who loves the all
- 19:49Speaker 1: black so much that he changed his name to support
- 19:52Speaker 1: Maori culture. He used to be called Winston Small from
- 19:55Speaker 1: Wellington in the Western Cape. He's now Winnie Tina Morrorici.
- 19:59Speaker 1: He changed his name legally to have a more all
- 20:02Speaker 1: black feel to his name. I then said to Cassidy,
- 20:07Speaker 1: based on what she loves so much and is a
- 20:09Speaker 1: big fan of what her name be, and we changed
- 20:11Speaker 1: her to Cassidy thunder Salt and Vinegar Pringles Nicholson, which
- 20:15Speaker 1: makes a lot of sense. My new name is going
- 20:18Speaker 1: to be call Chester Santiago WASTEI Chester Bennington, Lincoln Park, Santiago,
- 20:25Speaker 1: but Bay Real, Madrid. Two things connected as one. I

- 20:49Speaker 1: I like it, Yes, I love it too. No, it's
- 20:52Speaker 1: going to stay forever. Here's another one. Oh, people are
- 20:55Speaker 1: changing names now, so my.
- 20:58Speaker 16: New name would be.
- 21:01Speaker 1: Perrairo Russia Phillips. Okay, I think yeah.
- 21:08Speaker 5: I like how exotic it is.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah, talking about exotic. Oh, another name that came through
- 21:12Speaker 1: from a certain mister David's. My new name will be
- 21:14Speaker 1: Maverick David's. And I haven't seen Top Gun anyway. We
- 21:21Speaker 1: move along swiftly on the show. What was I going

- 22:29Speaker 1: would be in anybody's repertoire, it's called whole Again. It
- 22:32Speaker 1: is on your show flash Drive KFM ninety four point five.
- 22:35Speaker 1: You know as we bowld as a family and as
- 22:38Speaker 1: a team. Cassidy Jade Nicholson, Sorry, Cassidy fund the Salt
- 22:41Speaker 1: and Vinegar Pringles Nicholson, I have yet to ask you
- 22:46Speaker 1: a question. I was thinking about this today and then
- 22:48Speaker 1: the whole name thing around that one gentleman that changed
- 22:52Speaker 1: his name to be a bit more Maori centered because
- 22:55Speaker 1: he's a big all black fan. So the gentleman of
- 22:58Speaker 1: Winston is now completely different. In fact, allow me to
- 23:02Speaker 1: quote the name once again, because you have to get
- 23:04Speaker 1: it tried to. His name is Winnitana Mororici, formerly Winston Small,
- 23:08Speaker 1: from Wellington, but in the Western Camp. Interestingly enough, so
- 23:13Speaker 1: I just thought I never asked this question.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Should I be scared?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Don't? Don't be scared. I haven't asked Jody either, but
- 23:22Speaker 1: I do know Pietrice's and I don't know Karen Ann's either,
- 23:27Speaker 1: So I just wanted to go no, no, I just
- 23:29Speaker 1: wanted to know. Maybe I should start with Karen Ann
- 23:32Speaker 1: and I'll go around to U Cassidy, I think, just
- 23:34Speaker 1: so as we get to know each other. Yeah, what
- 23:38Speaker 1: a shame. Why is so nervous? Don't be nervous. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: just wanted to I didn't ask this of the squad
- 23:43Speaker 1: like I know Pietrice because we we had a chat
- 23:46Speaker 1: about this couplely, like a long time ago. But I
- 23:48Speaker 1: haven't asked you. There are two questions. It's twofold, okay,
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'll give it both the questions, and then you can
- 23:56Speaker 1: treat it the way you want to treat it. Is
- 23:57Speaker 1: that fine? Okay? Great? Question Number one will be do
- 24:02Speaker 1: you have a nickname? And number two, how did you
- 24:05Speaker 1: get it? That's fair, that's a yeah, that's a fair one. Right,
- 24:10Speaker 1: that's a safe question. That's a very safe one. Don't
- 24:11Speaker 1: I'm not going to ask you about anything. It's a
- 24:13Speaker 1: it's not like that.
- 24:15Speaker 11: Yeah, a nickname that my mom called me growing up.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It doesn't matter. It could be at school as well.
- 24:20Speaker 1: But you need to know the origins of it. That's important.
- 24:25Speaker 11: I've got one bad one that's actually a funny one,
- 24:28Speaker 11: but actually also not funny.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I think I've told you this one before, just the
- 24:32Speaker 1: longest yea in high school? In high school? What they
- 24:35Speaker 1: what do you want to say? You know what? This
- 24:38Speaker 1: is an open show. Don't worry, we are open. Tell me.
- 24:41Speaker 11: I'm I'm not thin and I had a very thin
- 24:47Speaker 11: cousin and they used to call us before and after.
- 24:50Speaker 5: No, those are fighting words. Send the address.
- 25:03Speaker 1: That's perfectly perfectly fun.
- 25:06Speaker 5: Why are you crying?
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm not No, No, I had something stuck in my throat.
- 25:12Speaker 1: But yeah, so that's rude.
- 25:14Speaker 5: Yeah, but I'm fine with it now.
- 25:17Speaker 1: I know you're fine with it, which is why it's
- 25:19Speaker 1: something stuck about, because I mean you can talk about
- 25:23Speaker 1: it as well. But sure, yeah, the type of people
- 25:27Speaker 1: you know, like I a bunch of them at high school,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you know, and the appearance ones are, but there are
- 25:33Speaker 1: sometimes that you get the unique ones like I'd like
- 25:35Speaker 1: sometimes you just need to know where someone got a nickname.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Like I had a friend, right, his name was Jack.
- 25:42Speaker 1: I never knew where it came from. I don't know
- 25:45Speaker 1: if it's like from Jack Daniels or whatever. Turned out
- 25:48Speaker 1: that one day they were driving and then there's a
- 25:51Speaker 1: street in Cape Town named Jack Craig Street. His name
- 25:54Speaker 1: is Craig and they called him Jack.
- 25:56Speaker 5: That's cool, that's kind of cool. Yeah, that's fun.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Going after his Voltiman Just I'm sorry, that's.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Not so we can laugh about it.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Sure, yeah, back so bad? Sure, yes, shook to my
- 26:14Speaker 1: care was all right, Cassidy. Did you have a nickname?
- 26:18Speaker 3: I mean, apart from the boring one which is cass No, man, yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 3: don't don't.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Sh stuff that right, no, stop, So you had one?
- 26:31Speaker 8: So I did.
- 26:32Speaker 5: I had a few.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I had Dweb but that was like my close circle
- 26:37Speaker 3: of friends. We all used to like call each other
- 26:40Speaker 3: like dork and whatever. And then I became Cassweb, so yeah,
- 26:48Speaker 3: don't he was.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Very nineties though, it is.
- 26:50Speaker 5: Yeah, so I have Dweb.
- 26:52Speaker 3: People used to call me energy Ade because my second
- 26:55Speaker 3: name is Jade, and I just have all this energy
- 26:59Speaker 3: ener Jade.
- 27:00Speaker 1: He's gonna stick in this show. I'm sorry, ener Jade
- 27:04Speaker 1: is living here now. That is good, ener Jade.
- 27:07Speaker 5: And then of course I got to high school.
- 27:09Speaker 3: And then also I'm not like a skinny Milling, so
- 27:12Speaker 3: they used to call me Boulder. I didn't know what
- 27:14Speaker 3: that meant because I speak ra ra. Oh so you
- 27:20Speaker 3: I just had no Yeah, so I didn't. I didn't
- 27:23Speaker 3: know what that meant. I just got called that and
- 27:24Speaker 3: I was like, sorry, excuse me, and then they were gone.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So just Bowder stay.
- 27:30Speaker 5: Yeah, so that was okay.
- 27:32Speaker 1: So that's a couple of your dream is so nineties. Yeah.
- 27:35Speaker 3: And then of course, I mean people would put th
- 27:37Speaker 3: h's instead of s's by my name, so kafferin nickel Fin,
- 27:42Speaker 3: I know you didn't.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Hear a difference. No, I did not. I was waiting
- 27:46Speaker 1: for the joke and Carlo, there's that one free to Carlo.
- 27:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And then mine was when you were a certain frame.
- 27:52Speaker 1: You were here today, Yes, Penny, Penny, Yeah, Pennie book
- 27:55Speaker 1: for him.
- 27:57Speaker 5: He thinks he's sick.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Season, so this slick, okay. I will tell you Petrice's
- 28:04Speaker 1: which you will love in the next couple of minutes.
- 28:06Speaker 1: I will because Peter and we haven't asked Jody West yet.
- 28:12Speaker 1: And I'm sure his is good because when I asked
- 28:14Speaker 1: Petrice to go ask him, Petrice started laughing. So that's
- 28:17Speaker 1: gonna be a good one. But it's just that's two questions.
- 28:19Speaker 1: It's to get to know each other a little better.
- 28:20Speaker 1: And I just wanted to know, Hey, you know what,
- 28:22Speaker 1: if you have a nickname, do you actually know what
- 28:23Speaker 1: the origins are? And the more unique the origins, the
- 28:26Speaker 1: better for the story, definitely, so feel free to share.
- 28:29Speaker 1: You know what the whatstep line number is?
- 28:31Speaker 5: I want to know what yours is?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Oh, honey, honey, how much time? How much? How many
- 28:38Speaker 1: do you want? Shas a golden crown? It's on your show,
- 28:43Speaker 1: your flash drive, KFM ninety four point five. I stumbled
- 28:47Speaker 1: upon a story earlier around a certain person to change
- 28:51Speaker 1: the name to reflect the All Blacks allegiance. His name
- 28:54Speaker 1: is Winston Small. He's now winning Tana Moro Riki. Yeah,
- 28:58Speaker 1: a real story of thirty one al from Wellington in
- 29:00Speaker 1: the Western Cape. This's just spawned an idea because I
- 29:04Speaker 1: haven't yet asked my people what their nicknames are. And
- 29:07Speaker 1: I asked, Cassidy, Jade Nicholson, watch and you gave me
- 29:10Speaker 1: a bunch of nicknames. Yeah, a bunch of them. Then
- 29:14Speaker 1: I said, the intrigue around Pietrice's and we've already discussed
- 29:17Speaker 1: Peter's nickname prior to you. Okay, this was in flash
- 29:21Speaker 1: Drive BC, and I mean, Pietrice is here, go for it.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Tell so ready Petrice but yes translation Pietrice frog frog yes,
- 29:37Speaker 1: look at you, yeah frog, Yes, so it comes. Hey no, no, wait, wait,
- 29:44Speaker 1: wait for the just just wait for the explanation. Cassidy,
- 29:51Speaker 1: stay with me, Stay with me. We're losing a we're
- 29:55Speaker 1: focus have locked in. I'm locked in. Okay, this is
- 29:59Speaker 1: gonna go from bad to Yeah. I know to say that.
- 30:02Speaker 1: Tell the story, bro. So there was a TV show
- 30:05Speaker 1: when I grew up called Villy Varley. Okay, we're losing
- 30:10Speaker 1: it again. You're gonna finish the story. There was a
- 30:12Speaker 1: character on the Pietrice Butter.
- 30:17Speaker 5: This is all made up.
- 30:18Speaker 1: No, no, it's a real. Billy Varley is real. It's
- 30:21Speaker 1: as real as Penny book for him.
- 30:22Speaker 13: He's okay, carry on, and let's just say I had
- 30:29Speaker 13: some resemblances to Pietrice Butter and it.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Resemblances and.
- 30:41Speaker 1: Yeah, no, I think the real reason that I had
- 30:45Speaker 1: mentioned to Pietrice is that he has been so surprisingly impressive.
- 30:48Speaker 1: He'd walk into the room and go buta, and that's
- 30:51Speaker 1: why probably that ship. Oh yes, but that's more like
- 30:58Speaker 1: a dum Yes, so what you'll find, but you you
- 31:09Speaker 1: have to go deep in google a that's way back
- 31:12Speaker 1: in the day. I'm just pictures of there. So there's
- 31:16Speaker 1: something on the phone there. Yeah, just one has a
- 31:22Speaker 1: little flowers. But I remember that is that's not a
- 31:27Speaker 1: normal you know what I mean. That's just that's a
- 31:29Speaker 1: fun that's that's not run. Okay, that's what it is.
- 31:40Speaker 1: You did not did? I'm sorry? He love good? Hello? Hello?
- 31:47Speaker 1: What's your nickname? Wi wing Nut?
- 31:52Speaker 5: You can't just say that with us?
- 31:53Speaker 1: No hold on wing Nut wing Nut films. I think
- 31:56Speaker 1: it's Peter Jackson's production company that did. They did Lord
- 31:58Speaker 1: of the Rings with that No, okay, the.
- 32:03Speaker 16: Physical wing Nune, Okay, give it a quick run of
- 32:13Speaker 16: when I was small, smaller stature while growing up, I'm
- 32:17Speaker 16: still smaller statue.
- 32:18Speaker 17: To know relatable, Yeah yeah buck extremely And the day before,
- 32:26Speaker 17: like I've started grade five, my dad decided that he.
- 32:30Speaker 16: Was going to give us all our homeae cuts. And
- 32:33Speaker 16: obviously you don't want to say no to your dad
- 32:35Speaker 16: at that stato, so you're like.
- 32:36Speaker 12: Yo, no, cool, dad can cut my age, just don't
- 32:38Speaker 12: screw it up. And yeah, I ended up shaving off
- 32:43Speaker 12: all my hair because my dad screwed it up. And
- 32:47Speaker 12: when I went to school the next day, obviously I've
- 32:51Speaker 12: got you mongo years compared to most people, and at
- 32:55Speaker 12: that stage of my life, having a bold head and
- 32:58Speaker 12: these statilizes on the.
- 32:59Speaker 16: Side didn't hurt me much. So the first class that
- 33:06Speaker 16: I walked into on my great farm was my side teacher,
- 33:10Speaker 16: also smaller statue. Yeah, walks up to me and he's like,
- 33:14Speaker 16: we've got a wing nut.
- 33:16Speaker 10: A teacher is a you.
- 33:20Speaker 5: Up everywhere.
- 33:22Speaker 12: I'm not gonna give names, like, I still see him
- 33:25Speaker 12: now now and then every now and then, I still
- 33:27Speaker 12: see him until this day.
- 33:29Speaker 16: Every time he spots me, all I is wing.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Nut that going night? Yes, like it? I mean after
- 33:38Speaker 1: a while you just own your nickname, you know, even
- 33:39Speaker 1: though it yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 16: It feel like part of the nature now.
- 33:43Speaker 1: But dude, you have a great name in the Wolverine universe.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Your name is Logan, my friend, that is just thank you.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Let's keep it Wolverine. Let's do that rather because that's
- 33:53Speaker 1: that's the name and off and also in the comics.
- 33:57Speaker 1: In the comics, Slogan Wolverine is also smaller statue. He's
- 34:00Speaker 1: a little smaller than they depicted him in the Marble
- 34:02Speaker 1: Cinematic universe. So that's another thing. And you have healing
- 34:06Speaker 1: factor from anything, you know, there's a lot of points
- 34:08Speaker 1: with me and my friend, trust me, coming from a
- 34:10Speaker 1: guy with a small statue, you know, coming from a
- 34:12Speaker 1: guy who had I mean, when I was in Scouts,
- 34:16Speaker 1: they they the first name they gave me was Titch.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Sorry excuse me, as in T I, T C H.
- 34:25Speaker 1: I still don't know till this day. Furthermore, I don't
- 34:29Speaker 1: know why, but there was a guy in Scouts. In
- 34:31Speaker 1: his surname, right was Midgeley. That was his surname. Okay,
- 34:36Speaker 1: but Logan, I was I was weird because they didn't
- 34:40Speaker 1: they called me Midge and I didn't understand but there
- 34:45Speaker 1: was a Midgeley, So I was like, why do you
- 34:46Speaker 1: not quy according me, Midge, not him. And then later
- 34:49Speaker 1: I understood what it meant. It was a contraction of
- 34:51Speaker 1: a certain word. Yeah, that's a from like you had
- 34:58Speaker 1: a luck thank you logan. I appreciate it. Yeah, so
- 35:01Speaker 1: that there was there was another name. But but naturally,
- 35:04Speaker 1: because my name is like the surname is wasty, that
- 35:06Speaker 1: is always going to be the most catchy thing about
- 35:08Speaker 1: my name. Of course, people won't call me called They're
- 35:11Speaker 1: like wasty. That's that's what I've always become. However, people
- 35:13Speaker 1: got creative with the logan. They got creative logan. And
- 35:17Speaker 1: the guy said, ah, you know what, they called you
- 35:20Speaker 1: wasty because you waist high. Hey, you know that's that's
- 35:24Speaker 1: that's what. So then there was a waste, there was
- 35:27Speaker 1: waist high. And then sometimes I'm walking to class and
- 35:30Speaker 1: we'd all have to stand for the teacher and people
- 35:31Speaker 1: would be like stand yeah, stand, yeah, tough out there,
- 35:36Speaker 1: but you know what a blow no no no, no,
- 35:40Speaker 1: no no no yeah yeah it's never low ye brother, sorry,
- 35:43Speaker 1: just right at the right logan. What a privileged shedding
- 35:50Speaker 1: to you? Thank you, my friend. How's it going. Okay,
- 35:57Speaker 1: let me guess they called you smooth operator. I wish Oh,
- 36:01Speaker 1: come on, I thought that would be like low hanging
- 36:03Speaker 1: fruit there only okay, so what do they what do
- 36:08Speaker 1: they call you nipple? You know, there's there's some calls
- 36:14Speaker 1: that you can never be ready for in live radio.
