- 0:00Speaker 1: Here we are our last break of the day on
- 0:03Speaker 1: this Tuesday. It's been a great day. Thank you all
- 0:06Speaker 1: for listening. And Steve, before you get to your closing,
- 0:10Speaker 1: we do have a phone call for you from a
- 0:12Speaker 1: pastor who actually left comments about your closing.
- 0:16Speaker 2: God bless you, Steve Harvey. I'm kind of running late,
- 0:19Speaker 2: but this reverend will again. I just want to say
- 0:23Speaker 2: one thing that closing remarks on October to six, how
- 0:29Speaker 2: you say your past and you talked about that past.
- 0:33Speaker 2: God love you, Steve Harvey. Let God be with you.
- 0:36Speaker 2: That was so wonderful what you said. You said your past,
- 0:41Speaker 2: leave that alone. God bless it. I need that could
- 0:45Speaker 2: trust and believe I got a pass. But that word
- 0:48Speaker 2: ready there to encouraged me. Thank you Steve Harvey for
- 0:52Speaker 2: that strong word to talk about that past, to leave
- 0:56Speaker 2: it alone. God bless you, Steve Harvey. That was so
- 0:59Speaker 2: much inpiration that you gave me. I'm gonna keep looking
- 1:04Speaker 2: at your family for you. Thank you, brother, you know,
- 1:07Speaker 2: thank you to let God keep using you to tell
- 1:10Speaker 2: folks and wait folks up on situations that they're going through.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Trust and believe I got a pass, but I'm gonna
- 1:18Speaker 2: leave it alone. Thank you Steve Harby for that by bye.
- 1:23Speaker 3: Yeah, thank you Uncle Rufus. Yeah, that's good. On previous
- 1:29Speaker 3: that's my uncle Rufus that had called in. We'll thank
- 1:32Speaker 3: him for calling here.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Hey.
- 1:34Speaker 3: You know what, I appreciate him saying that I've been
- 1:37Speaker 3: trying to really do better with my clothing remarks because
- 1:41Speaker 3: I found out so many people were listening in to him.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I was getting a lot of message from people. So
- 1:47Speaker 3: I have another one today too, And it kind of
- 1:49Speaker 3: pertains what Junior asked me this morning. It was about accountability.
- 1:53Speaker 3: He said, how important is accountability to you? Well, y'all
- 1:57Speaker 3: listen what I was explaining to JR. This morning and
- 2:00Speaker 3: when he asked me how important is accountability? Accountability is everything,
- 2:05Speaker 3: especially when you understand one practice that it took me
- 2:09Speaker 3: years to understand. My journey to happiness and success is
- 2:14Speaker 3: dependent on two factors, God Almighty and myself. Those are
- 2:23Speaker 3: the two determining factors about my happiness and about my success.
- 2:29Speaker 3: And as long as you keep it between the two
- 2:32Speaker 3: of you. Now, if you married and you've become one
- 2:35Speaker 3: and that you and your wife are in agreement, that's
- 2:38Speaker 3: the only other source. But outside of that, as long
- 2:43Speaker 3: as you keep those two factors in the forefront, God
- 2:46Speaker 3: Almighty and yourself. That's it. I don't allow any other
- 2:52Speaker 3: factors into it.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Oh.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I used to, but I learned to stop doing that
- 2:59Speaker 3: because here is low. As long as you know that
- 3:01Speaker 3: your success and happiness is just between you and God,
- 3:03Speaker 3: you can get along with it and you can make
- 3:06Speaker 3: all the necessary corrections. See, if it's just between you
- 3:10Speaker 3: and God, when something goes wrong, you can fix it
- 3:13Speaker 3: between you and God. If you allow other factors into
- 3:18Speaker 3: the mix, you now have to incorporate them, and they
- 3:21Speaker 3: may not be willing to go along with it. I
- 3:24Speaker 3: give you an example. Somebody leaves you, your relationship break up. Okay,
- 3:30Speaker 3: Now you won't closure in that. You want them to
- 3:33Speaker 3: come back and tell you they sorry. You will you
- 3:36Speaker 3: waiting on them to call you and give you the
- 3:39Speaker 3: reason why you waiting on them to call you and
- 3:42Speaker 3: make you feel better about it? They might just be gone.
- 3:46Speaker 3: So now, guess what if you keep the accountability between
- 3:50Speaker 3: you and God. Okay, listen, maybe this person leaving me
- 3:55Speaker 3: was a good thing for me. Bekind Bell Glass. Like
- 3:58Speaker 3: I always say, behind every moment of adversity, the two
- 4:01Speaker 3: things happen. There's a lesson and a blessing. So sometimes
- 4:04Speaker 3: this lead this person leaving you could be a good thing.
- 4:07Speaker 3: But if you go to God immediately and ask God
- 4:09Speaker 3: to give you the understanding and the knowledge to cope
- 4:13Speaker 3: with this loss, you may find out that that loss
- 4:16Speaker 3: was necessary. You may find out that that loss was
- 4:19Speaker 3: actually a good thing. Maybe God let that door close
- 4:22Speaker 3: because he got another one. He wants you to walk
- 4:24Speaker 3: up the hall and walk through. Stop standing at these
- 4:28Speaker 3: doors that close in your face. Stand there beating on
- 4:31Speaker 3: that door. Walk up the hall. There's always more doors.
- 4:38Speaker 3: But the accountability is on you. If you allow someone
- 4:44Speaker 3: else to be the determining factor between your for your
- 4:47Speaker 3: happiness and your success, you're in trouble. Man, You're in
- 4:51Speaker 3: a lot of trouble. Because suppose they don't. Oh, I
- 4:56Speaker 3: know what they said, but suppose they don't. They said
- 5:00Speaker 3: he was gonna do, But suppose they don't. I know
- 5:03Speaker 3: the promises they made, but suppose they don't. Accountability. You
- 5:10Speaker 3: and God Almighty, Those two things you can control. Number One, God,
- 5:16Speaker 3: he has never failed me yet ever ever, He has
- 5:22Speaker 3: never ever let me down. Never, God Almighty has never
- 5:29Speaker 3: ever broken a promise. Never ever, God Almighty has never
- 5:36Speaker 3: not come through when I needed him most. Never. Ever,
- 5:42Speaker 3: these are factors that you can count on. So if
- 5:45Speaker 3: you keep the accountability between you and God Almighty, there's
- 5:49Speaker 3: your chance for happiness or success. Stop letting these other
- 5:52Speaker 3: people affect you. Stop giving everybody else some accountability in
- 5:58Speaker 3: your life. They did me wrong, they let me down.
- 6:02Speaker 3: They didn't come when they said. He said he was
- 6:04Speaker 3: gonna give me this money. He didn't give me this money.
- 6:06Speaker 3: He didn't pay me my money back.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Man.
- 6:08Speaker 3: Bye, that don't matter. It only matters between you and God.
- 6:12Speaker 3: If you keep it between you and God, that's all
- 6:14Speaker 3: the accountability you need, and you'll be a much happier,
- 6:17Speaker 3: much successful person. Stop relying on people because they ain't
- 6:23Speaker 3: always gonna They are people now, they are all human.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Those are my closing remarks. Y'all have yourself a great
- 6:30Speaker 3: day to day. Talk to God today. He would absolutely
- 6:34Speaker 3: love to hear from you. And it don't matter if
- 6:36Speaker 3: it's been a while. A y'all have a good one.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Stay in peace.
- 6:45Speaker 2: For all.
