Christina Koch, the first woman to orbit the moon and a proud N.C. State alum, is returning to her alma mater for a star-studded homecoming celebration. Honored with the “Around the Moon and Pack Again” events, Koch will kick off with a public welcome on the Oval on August 24th, followed by an invite-only panel on the 25th where she’ll discuss how higher education fuels opportunity. A trailblazer in space, Koch made history with the first all-woman spacewalk, holds the record for longest single spaceflight by a woman, and recently completed the Artemis II lunar flyby.
