- 0:34Speaker 2: Early edition.
- 0:47Speaker 1: So Trump just absolutely manhandled the president of Colombia, just
- 0:53Speaker 1: totally bodied this guy. You know when you have those
- 0:56Speaker 1: moments where you're like, America, F yeah, like the song.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It happened yesterday.
- 1:02Speaker 2: It was so based.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It felt like the 4th of July. It felt like
- 1:06Speaker 1: American exceptionalism. We're back on top. It's this kind of
- 1:10Speaker 1: energy that you think winning empires must feel. That's what
- 1:15Speaker 1: yesterday was. Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced that he will
- 1:20Speaker 1: not permit U.S. deportation flights carrying Colombian migrants to land
- 1:25Speaker 1: in his country. And Gustavo Petro's stated reasoning for this
- 1:30Speaker 1: was that Trump can't treat those being deported as, quote, criminals,
- 1:35Speaker 1: which is a very brain-dead thing to say for two reasons.
- 1:39Speaker 2: One, all the.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Illegals that Trump is deporting, they're criminals. They're here illegally.
- 1:45Speaker 1: They have broken our laws. That's the definition of an illegal.
- 1:49Speaker 1: And the second thing is that Trump is currently targeting
- 1:53Speaker 1: violent criminals, violent convicted criminals. So they're double criminals. Not
- 1:58Speaker 1: only are they already criminals because they're illegal, but also
- 2:00Speaker 1: they've been convicted of crimes other than being in this
- 2:03Speaker 1: country illegally. So a very silly reason to not allow
- 2:07Speaker 1: these migrants to deplane. And so, yeah, like I said,
- 2:12Speaker 1: this plane was full of thieves, murderers, rapists. They were
- 2:15Speaker 1: all criminals. So Petro says, no, you can't land. And
- 2:19Speaker 1: then Trump's like, oh, you want to go? Trump sends
- 2:23Speaker 1: off the mother of truth social posts. This is probably
- 2:27Speaker 1: the greatest truth social post he's had since becoming president
- 2:30Speaker 1: for the second time. He writes, I was just informed
- 2:34Speaker 1: that that two flights from the United States with a
- 2:36Speaker 1: large number of illegal criminals were not allowed to land
- 2:40Speaker 1: in Colombia. This order was given by Colombia's socialist president,
- 2:43Speaker 1: Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst people. I
- 2:48Speaker 1: love how he adds that in there. Is that relevant
- 2:50Speaker 1: to anything? But of course, it's Trump. He has to
- 2:52Speaker 1: do that. One second. So he says, Petro's denial of
- 2:57Speaker 1: these flights has jeopardized the national security and public safety
- 3:00Speaker 1: of the United States. So I had directed my administration
- 3:02Speaker 1: to immediately take the following urgent and decisive retaliatory measures.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Emergency 25% tariffs on all goods coming into the United States.
- 3:12Speaker 1: In one week, that 25% tariff will be raised to 50%.
- 3:16Speaker 2: A travel ban.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And immediate visa revocations on Colombian government officials and all
- 3:21Speaker 1: allies and supporters. Visa sanctions on all party members, family members,
- 3:26Speaker 1: and supporters of the Colombian government. Enhanced customs and border
- 3:30Speaker 1: protection inspections. of all Colombian nationals and cargo on national
- 3:35Speaker 1: security grounds, treasury, banking, and financial sanctions to be fully imposed.
- 3:40Speaker 1: And then he ends by saying, these measures are just
- 3:43Speaker 1: the beginning. So an ominous warning to a very strong-willed tweet,
- 3:48Speaker 1: a very threatening to the social post. And within an hour,
- 3:52Speaker 1: Colombian president backs down. But the alfala energy.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Is so real.
- 3:58Speaker 1: And not only does he back down, Petro even offers
- 4:03Speaker 1: to use the official Colombian presidential plane to help shuttle
- 4:08Speaker 1: migrants back to the country, claiming it's part of the
- 4:11Speaker 1: government's commitment to guarantee decent conditions.
- 4:14Speaker 2: This guy is so scared.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Just so scared. He says, okay, send in the migrants,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and here's my plane.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Just take it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Use it to shuttle them back here. And this was just...
- 4:30Speaker 1: Not the day for President Gustavo Petro. It actually gets
- 4:34Speaker 1: worse for him because also yesterday, an article from last
- 4:37Speaker 1: July resurfaced that the married President Gustavo Petro had an
- 4:43Speaker 1: affair or is having an affair, I'm sure if it's
- 4:45Speaker 1: still going on, with a trans-identifying man. So not only
- 4:51Speaker 1: did Gustavo Petro get manhandled by Trump yesterday, but now
- 4:56Speaker 1: he is being internationally mocked as weak and gay. It
- 5:00Speaker 1: is a very tough day for Gustavo Petro. Sorry, you guys.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And he sent Trump really, aside from Colombia, it's broader
- 5:12Speaker 1: than Colombia. Trump has sent a message to the whole world.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Not only are you going to comply with U.S. deportations,
- 5:19Speaker 1: you better send your plane to pick up your citizens,
- 5:21Speaker 1: your criminal citizens who are here in this country illegally.
- 5:25Speaker 1: I mean, it's so strong. It's so, the leadership that
- 5:31Speaker 1: we're seeing from Trump, we have not seen in years
- 5:36Speaker 1: from any American president, Republican and Democrat, by the way.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So after the Colombian president caved in the presence of
- 5:45Speaker 1: Trump's alpha energy, AOC, she had to inject herself. And
- 5:49Speaker 1: she had not gotten the news yet that Trump just
- 5:52Speaker 1: totally won this whole exchange. She didn't, she only, she knew.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So she tweeted, to supposedly punish Colombia, Trump is about
- 6:00Speaker 1: to make every American pay even more for coffee. Remember,
- 6:03Speaker 1: we pay the tariffs, not Colombia. Trump is all about
- 6:07Speaker 1: making inflation worse for working class Americans, not better. He's
- 6:11Speaker 1: lining the pockets of himself and the billionaire class. You
- 6:19Speaker 1: guys know the reasoning. It's just tired.
- 6:21Speaker 2: No AOC.
- 6:23Speaker 1: He's deporting violent illegal criminals and exuding alpha male energy
- 6:27Speaker 1: like the U.S. has not seen since Andrew Jackson. Professional
- 6:32Speaker 1: beta male and Democrat activist Harry Sisson also weighed in yesterday, prematurely,
- 6:36Speaker 1: I might add. And he said, Trump just announced huge
- 6:43Speaker 1: penalties on Colombia. Everything just got more expensive for you
- 6:47Speaker 1: and your family. There are diplomatic ways to work with countries,
- 6:51Speaker 1: but instead, Trump does crap like this. Yes, Harry, it's
- 6:56Speaker 1: because Trump does crap like this that we're finally winning
- 7:00Speaker 1: in this country. You know, I was talking to Michael
- 7:03Speaker 1: yesterday about the mentality here of people like Harry Sisson
- 7:07Speaker 1: and AOC. Why do libs respond so poorly to Trump
- 7:12Speaker 1: demonstrating strength? Why is that a problem to them? Columbia
- 7:17Speaker 1: won't take back their illegal criminal citizens? And what, we're
- 7:22Speaker 1: supposed to just say, okay, you're right, sorry guys. And
- 7:24Speaker 1: then we release those criminals back out of the streets
- 7:27Speaker 1: of Chicago or something? How is that the right decision
- 7:30Speaker 1: to make as an American president? It doesn't even make sense.
- 7:34Speaker 1: If you're thinking logically, it doesn't make sense. If you're
- 7:36Speaker 1: thinking as a patriot, it doesn't make sense. As a
- 7:39Speaker 1: leader of the world's superpower. But they're not thinking like that.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That's what it's important to understand about the left. They're
- 7:46Speaker 1: thinking like globalists. They have no value hierarchy, meaning innocent
- 7:51Speaker 1: American citizens and illegal rapists and murderers, they're on the
- 7:55Speaker 1: same level. And I'm not just saying that. There's a
- 7:58Speaker 1: study to back this up. A study actually found that
- 8:01Speaker 1: liberals care more about aliens and space dust than they
- 8:05Speaker 1: do about their own families and nations. Here's a heat map.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Michael put it up there. Thank you, Michael. It's a
- 8:12Speaker 1: heat map of liberal versus conservative nations.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Priorities.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Liberals' care extends way out to random marginalized groups on
- 8:22Speaker 1: the other side of the world, even alien life, and
- 8:25Speaker 1: they actually care more about the planet as a whole,
- 8:28Speaker 1: the universe, than their immediate families. Meanwhile, conservatives much more
- 8:34Speaker 1: reasonably prioritize those closest to them. They care the most
- 8:38Speaker 1: about their family, and then their community, and then their country.
- 8:42Speaker 1: This is why Liberals care more about illegal migrants crossing
- 8:47Speaker 1: the border than their fellow Americans dying of drug overdoses
- 8:51Speaker 1: due to the open border. And this globalist, universalist, cancerous
- 8:57Speaker 1: mentality is the antithesis to Trump.
- 8:59Speaker 2: This is why they hate him.
- 9:00Speaker 1: He's a nationalist. In more base news, Secretary of State
- 9:05Speaker 1: Marco Rubio has directed the State Department to remove the
- 9:09Speaker 1: option for U.S. passport applicants to designate their sex as X.
- 9:13Speaker 1: This was apparently a thing that's been happening under Biden.
- 9:17Speaker 1: And Marco Rubio's decision is in accordance with Trump's recent
- 9:21Speaker 1: executive order declaring it official U.S. policy to recognize only
- 9:25Speaker 1: two sexes, male and female. In a leaked email, Rubio
- 9:29Speaker 1: issued instructions for staff to implement new guidelines for official
- 9:33Speaker 1: documentation stating, the policy of the United States is that
- 9:36Speaker 1: an individual's sex is not changeable. State Department staff were
- 9:40Speaker 1: ordered to suspend any application. where the applicant is seeking
- 9:43Speaker 1: to change their sex marker from the definition provided under
- 9:46Speaker 1: the executive order. And this policy applies to both current
- 9:49Speaker 1: and future passport applicants. Now, like I said, under the
- 9:52Speaker 1: Biden admin since April 2022, the State Department has allowed
- 9:55Speaker 1: passport applicants to select the X marker for gender identification.
- 10:00Speaker 1: gender identification, whatever that means. And just so you all know,
- 10:04Speaker 1: Trump's executive order is very well stated. I couldn't have
- 10:08Speaker 1: done it better myself.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It reads.
- 10:14Speaker 1: The erasure of sex and language and policy And that's
- 10:17Speaker 1: so true. It's so based.
- 10:18Speaker 2: It's so well put.
- 10:20Speaker 1: And how many Republican politicians, by the way, many of
- 10:22Speaker 1: whom make Christianity their whole personality, would have had the
- 10:26Speaker 1: balls to do that? Mike Pence? Do you guys think
- 10:46Speaker 1: for a second that Mike Pence would have stood up
- 10:49Speaker 1: for biological reality in as brazen and honest and upfront
- 10:55Speaker 1: of a way as Donald Trump just did?
- 10:57Speaker 2: Yes or no?
- 10:58Speaker 1: Neocons, old school Republicans, they stand for nothing. As Mike
- 11:03Speaker 1: Pence would say, that's not my concern. All Mike Pence's
- 11:08Speaker 1: concern is a foreign war, is killing more Americans and
- 11:13Speaker 1: other people often battles across the globe.
- 11:17Speaker 2: But they do.
- 11:18Speaker 1: These Republicans, they act like controlled opposition. They never do
- 11:21Speaker 1: anything brave. And Trump, who everybody said, he's not a
- 11:24Speaker 1: real conservative. He's not a Christian. He's not a pro-lifer.
- 11:28Speaker 1: He doesn't understand what it means to be a right-winger
- 11:31Speaker 1: because he's not a genuine conservative. He's actually been more
- 11:34Speaker 1: based than any conservative politician I've seen ever. I don't
- 11:39Speaker 1: know who's been better than Trump on any of these issues.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Pro-life issue as well. The most pro-life president of our generation. Sorry,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you guys. I still have this cough. So Trump's unpredictable.
- 11:58Speaker 1: And it honestly feels like this whole admin is being
- 12:02Speaker 1: run like a reality TV show where each season... It
- 12:06Speaker 1: just keeps getting wilder and wilder. The stakes are even higher.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And that's just Trump. He's a reality star. He knows
- 12:14Speaker 1: how to use the media to his advantage, which brings
- 12:16Speaker 1: me to Tom Homan and Dr. Phil. In a move
- 12:20Speaker 1: that's probably not on anyone's 2025 bingo card, Homan and Dr.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Phil went around Chicago... rounding up rapists, murderers, and human traffickers.
- 12:31Speaker 1: And I swear to you guys, this whole thing felt
- 12:33Speaker 1: like some kind of alternate timeline. It was wild and
- 12:36Speaker 1: it was awesome all at once. Take a listen.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Are you a citizen?
- 12:41Speaker 4: My mom's a citizen.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Your mother's a citizen? Yes. But you're not?
- 12:47Speaker 5: Nope.
- 12:49Speaker 2: But you've never been deported before?
- 12:50Speaker 1: We got the Phil.
- 12:51Speaker 6: We got the Dr.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Phil.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 12:54Speaker 1: How do you know me? No, I seen the Dr. Phil,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you know.
- 12:58Speaker 4: On TV. Yeah?
- 12:59Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Well, this is an example of sanctuary cities, right? We
- 13:06Speaker 3: got an illegal alien convicted of sex crimes involving children.
- 13:10Speaker 3: And he's walking the streets of Chicago. Again, the downfall,
- 13:17Speaker 3: the problem with a sanctuary city that people like us
- 13:19Speaker 3: walk in the street rather than law enforcement working with
- 13:22Speaker 3: federal agents. This is what we're dealing with.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:26Speaker 3: You've been charged with sex crimes with children? Not really.
- 13:30Speaker 3: Not really?
- 13:31Speaker 1: What's that mean, not really?
- 13:34Speaker 3: I've never been deported.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Well.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Huh.
- 13:39Speaker 2: Let's take a minute and process and lock him up.
- 13:40Speaker 1: It's like the office, like it comes back and forth.
- 13:43Speaker 1: The cameraman is so funny. It's like the office. You
- 13:46Speaker 1: get like the zoom in of Dr. Phil's expression and
- 13:48Speaker 1: the illegal just like shocked like. am I being arrested
- 13:52Speaker 1: by Tom Homan and Dr. Phil? What is going on?
- 13:56Speaker 1: And he does deserve to be deported.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I mean, what does that mean?
- 13:58Speaker 1: What did he say? Kind of like, not really like
- 14:03Speaker 1: you're a sex abuser or you're not buddy. Which one
- 14:05Speaker 1: is it? And obviously this guy was, was a child
- 14:08Speaker 1: sex abuser because these are targeted raids, targeted missions that
- 14:13Speaker 1: Tom Homan is going on. And it's so funny because
- 14:16Speaker 1: They look like best buddies, like Dr. Phil, Tom Homan,
- 14:19Speaker 1: like their tag team in it. They're shutting down the border.
- 14:22Speaker 1: They're arresting all the illegal criminals. And I love that
- 14:25Speaker 1: people are being updated in this way. We're getting frequent
- 14:28Speaker 1: updates on ICE's Twitter account. Apparently now we have a
- 14:32Speaker 1: reality show style Dr. Phil, Tom Homan documentary. Here is
- 14:37Speaker 1: Tom Homan straight out of the Miami Vice 2025 spinoff
- 14:41Speaker 1: or something of that nature. Just exuding again the energy
- 14:47Speaker 1: that I want to see. This is the energy that
- 14:48Speaker 1: I voted for.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 14:51Speaker 6: We're in Chicago, Illinois.
- 14:53Speaker 3: We're going to arrest public safety threats. We've got all
- 14:57Speaker 3: of government approach.
- 14:57Speaker 1: We've got U.S. Marshals.
- 14:59Speaker 3: We've got FBI.
- 14:59Speaker 2: We've got ATF.
- 15:01Speaker 1: We've got DEA.
- 15:02Speaker 3: We've got ICE. We've got HSI. We've got them all here.
- 15:05Speaker 6: The president's plan of all of.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Government is to attack illegal alien crime in this city.
- 15:09Speaker 3: We're going to address it today.
- 15:10Speaker 1: We're starting now. It's just, it's so great. And it's
- 15:16Speaker 1: so Trump to be like, yeah, like record yourself, like
- 15:20Speaker 1: let the people see what's going on. Let's, and the
- 15:22Speaker 1: transparency is important right now because we're being told that
- 15:25Speaker 1: there's all these teachers on TikTok saying, I am, I'm
- 15:29Speaker 1: protecting my students. ICE is not coming in. Like ICE
- 15:32Speaker 1: is not going into schools. Tom Homan has said this repeatedly.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Like these are, these are targeted missions and that, that
- 15:39Speaker 1: would not even be necessary for if so-called sanctuary cities,
- 15:44Speaker 1: cooperated with ICE.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But the cities refused to cooperate.
- 15:48Speaker 1: And again, the people being targeted right now are convicted criminals.
- 15:52Speaker 1: It says a lot about liberals and their priorities that
- 15:56Speaker 1: they would want to protect illegal criminals at the expense
- 16:00Speaker 1: of innocent Americans who have, many of whom, fallen victim
- 16:03Speaker 1: to the crimes of these illegal migrants. You know what
- 16:07Speaker 1: else is telling? The Biden admin didn't care to track
- 16:12Speaker 1: down the over 300,000 missing illegal migrant children. The Trump
- 16:19Speaker 1: admin is already recovered between 75 and 80,000 of these
- 16:25Speaker 1: missing children within the first week of Trump taking office.
- 16:31Speaker 1: So clearly, clearly the Biden admin was capable. They just chose,
- 16:37Speaker 1: they chose to leave those children vulnerable to potential sex
- 16:40Speaker 1: traffickers and child rapists. And we're supposed to believe that
- 16:43Speaker 1: liberals are their compassionate ones? Same goes for the Catholic Church. J.D.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Vance did his first official sit-down interview as vice president,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and he epically called out the woke Catholic, U.S. Catholic
- 16:58Speaker 1: Conference of Bishops. Now, last week, the U.S. Catholic Conference
- 17:02Speaker 1: of Bishops had this whole statement against the deportations in
- 17:07Speaker 1: churches and schools. denounced ICE under Trump. Again, ICE is
- 17:11Speaker 1: not going into schools. Tom Homan has said that these
- 17:14Speaker 1: are targeted missions on illegal criminals, convicted criminals.
- 17:18Speaker 2: But here is J.D.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Vance's response to the U.S. Catholic Conference of Bishops. And
- 17:22Speaker 1: I think that the U.S.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Conference of Catholic Bishops needs to actually look in the
- 17:26Speaker 4: mirror a little bit and recognize that when they receive
- 17:29Speaker 4: over $ 100 million to help resettle illegal immigrants, are they
- 17:34Speaker 4: worried about humanitarian concerns or are they actually worried about
- 17:37Speaker 4: their bottom line? We are going to enforce immigration law.
- 17:41Speaker 4: We're going to protect the American people. Donald Trump promised
- 17:44Speaker 4: to do that. And I believe the U.S. Conference of
- 17:47Speaker 4: Catholic Bishops, if they're worried about the humanitarian costs of
- 17:50Speaker 4: immigration enforcement, let them talk about the children who have
- 17:53Speaker 4: been sex trafficked because of the wide open border of
- 17:56Speaker 4: Joe Biden.
- 17:57Speaker 6: So you personally support them going into schools and churches?
- 17:59Speaker 4: Let them talk about people like Lakin Riley who were
- 18:00Speaker 4: brutally murdered. I support us doing law enforcement against violent criminals,
- 18:05Speaker 4: whether they're illegal immigrants or anybody else, in a way.
- 18:07Speaker 1: That keeps us safe. I'm a Catholic like J.D. Vance.
- 18:12Speaker 1: It's abhorrent the way that the U.S. Catholic Conference of
- 18:16Speaker 1: Bishops and the Pope, for that matter, Moralize in favor
- 18:20Speaker 1: of open borders while totally ignoring the humanitarian crisis that
- 18:25Speaker 1: comes along with it. Moralize against a country protecting citizens
- 18:29Speaker 1: from violent criminals. And frankly, I wish these deportations were bigger.
- 18:35Speaker 1: We need more than just the convicted criminals. Even the
- 18:39Speaker 1: nonviolent illegals are driving down wages for American citizens. But
- 18:43Speaker 1: the truth is that Trump's clearly going after convicted violent
- 18:47Speaker 1: criminals right now. Okay, fine. How is that controversial with
- 18:51Speaker 1: the Catholic bishops or the Pope? Maybe what I'm saying
- 18:56Speaker 1: is a little more controversial, right? Let's get rid of
- 18:58Speaker 1: the non-violent illegals who are here in this country, who
- 19:02Speaker 1: should not be, who are driving down wages and eroding
- 19:06Speaker 1: our national identity. That's a little bit more debatable for you.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I don't think it's debatable, but it's a little farther
- 19:13Speaker 1: than just saying, let's take out the violent convicted criminals.
- 19:18Speaker 1: How is this controversial for the Catholic Church? It doesn't
- 19:20Speaker 1: make any sense. As a Catholic, it doesn't make sense.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It's such a no-brainer. Shame on the Catholic Church. Every
- 19:29Speaker 1: Christian church father has long taught that it is the
- 19:32Speaker 1: duty of a nation's leaders to not only promote law
- 19:37Speaker 1: and order, but also to preserve the unique identity and
- 19:39Speaker 1: culture of the populace, therefore justifying mass deportations in response
- 19:46Speaker 1: to this invasion that we have fallen victim to.
- 19:49Speaker 2: And it is an invasion.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Okay, now, in this interview with CBS's Margaret Brennan, at
- 19:55Speaker 1: one point, she tries to insist that all the illegals
- 19:59Speaker 1: here are vetted. And I want you guys to listen
- 20:05Speaker 1: to J.D. 's response to that has probably become the
- 20:09Speaker 1: greatest meme of 2025 so far. The responses have been
- 20:12Speaker 1: very viral. But again, this is his response to Margaret
- 20:16Speaker 1: Brennan insisting that all the illegals here are vetted. Take
- 20:20Speaker 1: a listen.
- 20:21Speaker 4: Absolutely cannot unleash thousands of unvetted people into our country.
- 20:26Speaker 7: It's not good.
- 20:27Speaker 6: These people are vetted.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Just like the guy who played a terrorist attack in
- 20:30Speaker 4: Oklahoma a few months ago, he was allegedly properly vetted.
- 20:33Speaker 4: And many people in the media and the Democratic Party
- 20:35Speaker 4: said that he.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Was properly vetted.
- 20:37Speaker 7: Clearly he wasn't.
- 20:38Speaker 4: I don't want my children to share a neighborhood with
- 20:41Speaker 4: people who are not properly vetted. And because I don't
- 20:44Speaker 4: want it for my kids, I'm not going to force
- 20:45Speaker 4: any other American citizens' kids to do that either.
- 20:48Speaker 6: No, and that was a very particular case. It wasn't
- 20:50Speaker 6: clear if he was radicalized when he got here or
- 20:53Speaker 6: while he was living here.
- 20:54Speaker 7: I don't really care, Margaret.
- 20:55Speaker 4: I don't want that person in my country, and I
- 20:57Speaker 4: think most Americans agree with me.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Did you guys hear what he said? I don't really care, Margaret,
- 21:03Speaker 1: and it's all over the Internet. I don't really care, Margaret.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Let's play that clip again, Mikey.
- 21:08Speaker 7: I don't really care, Margaret.
- 21:09Speaker 4: I don't want that person in my country, and I
- 21:11Speaker 4: think most Americans agree with me.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So Jack Posobiec sent me this yesterday. It says, I
- 21:17Speaker 1: don't really care, Margaret, is the new, frankly, my dear,
- 21:20Speaker 1: I don't give a damn. This is frankly, Margaret, I
- 21:23Speaker 1: don't give a damn. And which is like Rhett Butler
- 21:27Speaker 1: from Gone with the Wind, the famous line. Michael Knowles tweeted, sir,
- 21:32Speaker 1: you can't smoke a cigar in the airplane. And then
- 21:34Speaker 1: he interjects and says, I don't really care, Margaret. Drop
- 21:39Speaker 1: a comment. Tell me when and how you would best
- 21:42Speaker 1: use I don't really care, Margaret. Michael, do you have
- 21:45Speaker 1: an idea? When would you use I don't really care, Margaret?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Hopefully not on me. You don't know.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Drop a comment. Let me know.
- 21:53Speaker 1: It is a new meme of this presidential admin. And
- 22:00Speaker 1: I'm sure there'll be more. I'm sure we'll get some
- 22:02Speaker 1: more memes and some more funny moments.
- 22:03Speaker 2: But so far, this is my favorite.
- 22:06Speaker 6: All right.
- 22:07Speaker 1: The war machine is still after Tulsi Gabbard. Her confirmation
- 22:12Speaker 1: hearing is set to be this week. And Margaret Brennan
- 22:16Speaker 1: was sure to attack Tulsi during her interview with J.D.
- 22:19Speaker 5: Vance.
- 22:20Speaker 1: And in the soundbite, Margaret Brennan cites National Review. was
- 22:25Speaker 1: founded by William F.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Buckley.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It has kind of been this beacon of conservative thought
- 22:30Speaker 1: for a really long time, but recently it's become this never-Trump,
- 22:35Speaker 1: neocon rag that has really lost relevance in the last decade.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And it's useful still to permanent Washington, so is the
- 22:42Speaker 1: Wall Street Journal. So that's why Margaret Brennan cites these
- 22:45Speaker 1: two publications.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Take a listen.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Both the Wall Street Journal and the National Review, conservative publications,
- 22:52Speaker 6: as you know, have been critical of Tulsi Gabbard. The
- 22:55Speaker 6: Review called her an atrocious nominee who deserves to be defeated.
- 22:59Speaker 6: They compared her defense of Edward Snowden, the fugitive who
- 23:03Speaker 6: stole U.S. secrets, to an attorney general who thinks the
- 23:06Speaker 6: mob gets a bad rap. Her refusal to accept U.S.
- 23:08Speaker 6: intelligence findings that Assad gassed his own people, they said,
- 23:11Speaker 6: was like a nominee for OMB director not being able
- 23:15Speaker 6: to count.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Does any of this.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Give you pause?
- 23:19Speaker 6: Putting her in charge of the U.S. intelligence community.
- 23:22Speaker 7: Yes or no?
- 23:22Speaker 3: No, Margaret.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Look, these are publications that attacked Donald J. Trump obsessively,
- 23:28Speaker 4: but those publications don't determine who the president is, the
- 23:30Speaker 4: American people do. And Donald J. Trump is the person
- 23:34Speaker 4: who determines who his cabinet is, not these publications that
- 23:37Speaker 4: I think, frankly.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Have lost relevance. Okay, he's totally right. They have lost relevance.
- 23:42Speaker 1: There's one point in there. I just noticed this now.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I hadn't even noticed this when I was planning the show,
- 23:47Speaker 1: putting it together. But there's a part where Margaret Brennan,
- 23:52Speaker 1: she's citing one of these publications and says, oh, it's
- 23:54Speaker 1: basically like the attorney general defending the mob. And it's
- 23:58Speaker 1: so interesting because the deep state, the CIA, actually the
- 24:04Speaker 1: FBI and the CIA have a long history of working
- 24:08Speaker 1: with the mob, working with organized crime in the United
- 24:13Speaker 1: States to uh, promote their, promote their policies, promote regime
- 24:22Speaker 1: change in other countries. I mean, they work with criminals
- 24:25Speaker 1: all the time. This is like the hallmark of, of, uh,
- 24:29Speaker 1: of the intelligence apparatus domestically, uh, internationally. Really interesting that
- 24:33Speaker 1: they make that comparison as if we're all ignorant to
- 24:36Speaker 1: the history of US intelligence.
- 24:43Speaker 2: But to me, the.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Most sickening, um, part of this line of attack is that,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you guys, so sorry. Tulsi is being smeared
- 24:57Speaker 1: as unqualified by all the neocons who not only failed
- 25:01Speaker 1: to foresee 9-11, but also used their intelligence failures to
- 25:05Speaker 1: justify two decades of war in the Middle East that
- 25:08Speaker 1: accomplished nothing other than killing Americans and destabilizing the region.
- 25:13Speaker 1: And by the way, National Review and the Wall Street
- 25:15Speaker 1: Journal supported the deep state through all that. completely failing
- 25:20Speaker 1: as journalists and as critical thinkers. And now the Warhawks
- 25:23Speaker 1: want me to believe that Tulsi Gabbard is unqualified?
- 25:27Speaker 2: Be so for real.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Here is former CIA director John Brennan inadvertently explaining how
- 25:34Speaker 1: he lied to and misinformed former presidents while smearing Tulsi Gabbard.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Well, when there are National Security Council meetings with the
- 25:43Speaker 5: president's chairs in the White House Situation Room, Usually, the
- 25:46Speaker 5: first person to speak would be the director of national
- 25:48Speaker 5: intelligence and the director of CIA. They lay down the
- 25:51Speaker 5: intelligence basis for any type of policy discussion that ensues.
- 25:55Speaker 5: And so if that intelligence basis, that briefing, is going
- 25:58Speaker 5: to be skewed or is going to be lacking some
- 26:02Speaker 5: very important critical information, the policy decision that ultimately comes
- 26:06Speaker 5: out of it is also going to be baseless and
- 26:10Speaker 5: also– You know, it's going to be potentially threatening to
- 26:13Speaker 5: our national security. So, again, it's the President's Daily Brief,
- 26:16Speaker 5: but also the role that the Director of National Intelligence,
- 26:19Speaker 5: Director of CIA play in order to ensure that the
- 26:22Speaker 5: people who have to make those decisions in National Security
- 26:24Speaker 5: Council are fully informed about what the reality is, what
- 26:29Speaker 5: the intelligence is, what our intelligence gaps are. And if
- 26:31Speaker 5: they withhold things or if they skew things, it really
- 26:35Speaker 5: is going to be detrimental. Real quick before we let you.
- 26:38Speaker 1: All right. You guys know what this is. It is
- 26:40Speaker 1: complete projection. Oh, Tulsi would skew the information for President Trump.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Why would he say that?
- 26:49Speaker 1: Why does it even cross his mind unless he did
- 26:51Speaker 1: that himself? Again, the most dishonest, abhorrent, unelected people in
- 26:58Speaker 1: Washington are fear mongering about Tulsi Gabbard.
- 27:01Speaker 2: And I think that says a lot.
- 27:03Speaker 1: And we know what the truth is. We know what
- 27:05Speaker 1: this is all about. They don't want the truth coming
- 27:10Speaker 1: out about JFK. They don't want Tulsi actually protecting the
- 27:14Speaker 1: privacy of American citizens from illegal government spying. And it's
- 27:18Speaker 1: also about war. It's always about war. Tulsi Gabbard served
- 27:22Speaker 1: in Iraq. She's staunchly against forever wars. A while back,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Barry Weiss, who founded the Free Press... formerly she was
- 27:31Speaker 1: at the New York Times, attacked Tulsi on Joe Rogan.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Mind you, Barry Weiss has taken on this role of
- 27:38Speaker 1: political refugee, is now part of MAGA, but she also
- 27:42Speaker 1: pushes for these old school neocon interests in the Middle
- 27:45Speaker 1: East specifically. Here's what Barry Weiss said, oddly, about Tulsi.
- 27:51Speaker 7: Tulsi Gabbard.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Monstrous.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Monstrous?
- 27:55Speaker 7: Ideas. Ideas. Well, when she was 22, she had... No,
- 28:00Speaker 7: she's an Assad toady. What does that mean?
- 28:02Speaker 1: She is a.
- 28:03Speaker 7: What's a toady?
- 28:04Speaker 1: I think that I used that word correctly. Jamie, can
- 28:06Speaker 1: you check what toady means?
- 28:07Speaker 7: Like towing the line? Is that what it means? No,
- 28:09Speaker 7: I think it's like a.
- 28:13Speaker 2: T-O-A-D-I-E.
- 28:15Speaker 7: What does that mean? I think it means what I
- 28:19Speaker 7: think it means.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Like, what does it mean?
- 28:24Speaker 7: Toady. Definition of toadies. A person who flatters or defers
- 28:29Speaker 7: to others for self-serving reasons.
- 28:31Speaker 1: A sycophant.
- 28:33Speaker 7: So she's an Assad sycophant. Is that what you're saying?
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's.
- 28:38Speaker 7: Known about her. What did she say that qualifies her?
- 28:43Speaker 7: I don't remember the details. We probably should say that
- 28:45Speaker 7: before we say that about her. We should probably read
- 28:48Speaker 7: it rather.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Well, I have read it.
- 28:50Speaker 7: No, I mean, we should right now.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 7: Okay. Just so we know what she said. Look up
- 28:53Speaker 7: Tulsi Gabbard. I've had her on here before, and I
- 28:55Speaker 7: really enjoy talking to her. I like her a lot.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Are you serious?
- 28:58Speaker 7: Yeah, I like talking to her.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 28:59Speaker 7: I like talking to her.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I don't know about— I think she's like the motherlode
- 29:02Speaker 1: of bad ideas. Whoa. I'm pretty positive about that, especially
- 29:07Speaker 1: on the side. But she can't tell you why.
- 29:09Speaker 4: But maybe I'm wrong.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Okay, so you guys listen to the show, you know
- 29:14Speaker 1: what's going on here. Tulsi's crime was that in 2017,
- 29:17Speaker 1: she went to Syria— and met with Assad, rebels against Assad,
- 29:22Speaker 1: and persecuted Christians to gather an on-the-ground perspective in pursuit
- 29:28Speaker 1: of a potential path for peace in Syria. What she
- 29:31Speaker 1: found was that U.S. involvement in the Syrian civil war
- 29:35Speaker 1: was not a helping situation. But people who love war
- 29:38Speaker 1: and wanted the U.S. to help overthrow Assad called Tulsi
- 29:43Speaker 1: a terrorist sympathizer and an Assad asset because she got
- 29:47Speaker 1: a perspective not pre-approved by the government and government-controlled corporate media.
- 29:52Speaker 1: And the Barry Weiss smear isn't so much about Syria
- 29:56Speaker 1: as it is about justifying all foreign war. Because if
- 30:00Speaker 1: you allow Tulsi to subvert the narrative on Syria, she
- 30:06Speaker 1: could do the same for any foreign war that's of
- 30:09Speaker 1: interest to the deep state. Tulsi unravels the narrative about Syria.
- 30:13Speaker 1: She could delegitimize a regime change operation in Iran, for instance.
- 30:26Speaker 1: And to that point, this is what Barry Weiss tweeted
- 30:28Speaker 1: just a couple days ago. Last year, Trump promised that
- 30:32Speaker 1: he would blow Iran to smithereens if it ever harmed
- 30:38Speaker 1: an American presidential candidate. But pulling security away from Mike
- 30:41Speaker 1: Pompeo and other former American officials who need it, but
- 30:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry, the president leaves America weaker and Tehran emboldened.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Trump calls his whole agenda America first. This move is
- 30:54Speaker 1: just the opposite. Okay, Michael, do you understand what that
- 30:58Speaker 1: tweet is saying? Vaguely. Me too, because it's kind of weird.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Let me just get this straight. Trump is less than
- 31:08Speaker 1: a week into his presidency, and Barry Weiss is upset
- 31:10Speaker 1: that he hasn't declared war.
- 31:11Speaker 2: On Iran yet. Because war with Iran equals America first?
- 31:16Speaker 2: Does that make sense to anybody? Chat, does that make sense?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Is America first equivalent to sparking World War III in
- 31:25Speaker 1: the Middle East? I think we have different definitions of
- 31:28Speaker 1: America first. And why is paying for Mike Pompeo's security
- 31:33Speaker 1: America first? Mike Pompeo hid JFK files.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Tried to murder Julian Assange.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Why are any former bureaucrats entitled to taxpayer-funded security detail anyway?
- 31:42Speaker 1: The Former Presidents Act of 1958 gives secret service to
- 31:48Speaker 1: former presidents. That's what's in the law. Former presidents. Criminal
- 31:53Speaker 1: swamp creatures... entitled to our money for their security forever
- 31:57Speaker 1: isn't anywhere in that law. There seems to be a
- 32:02Speaker 1: real disconnect and a real disingenuous strain to all of
- 32:07Speaker 1: these Tulsi Gabbard attacks and smears. All right. Speaking of
- 32:11Speaker 1: attacks and smears, let's talk about RFK Jr., who, by
- 32:14Speaker 1: the way, was denied security for the longest time on
- 32:17Speaker 1: the campaign trail. If anyone should have security, it's RFK Jr.,
- 32:20Speaker 1: not Mike Pompeo or Anthony Fauci, for that matter. So
- 32:27Speaker 1: RFK Jr. 's confirmation for the Secretary of Health and
- 32:29Speaker 1: Human Services is also in jeopardy. That's happening this week
- 32:33Speaker 1: as well. His hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, and there
- 32:36Speaker 1: are a lot of interest groups campaigning against him, if
- 32:39Speaker 1: you guys can imagine.
- 32:40Speaker 2: A left-wing dark.
- 32:41Speaker 1: Money group called the 1630 Fund is inkrolling a war
- 32:45Speaker 1: room to oppose RFK Jr. 's confirmation. And oddly enough,
- 32:53Speaker 1: this same organization supported his presidential campaign.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Very odd.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Even so-called conservative groups are fighting RFK Jr. We covered
- 33:03Speaker 1: a couple weeks ago that Mike Pence's organization, Advancing American Freedom,
- 33:07Speaker 1: is lobbying Republican senators to not confirm RFK Jr. because
- 33:10Speaker 1: apparently he isn't pro-life. Never mind that Mike Pence has
- 33:13Speaker 1: advocated for the slaughter of millions of people with the
- 33:17Speaker 1: wars that he's rallied for as a neocon. And here's
- 33:20Speaker 1: what I'll say about RFK Jr. I don't think the
- 33:24Speaker 1: people are going to tolerate a derailment of his confirmation.
- 33:29Speaker 1: This is the one issue that America agrees on. The
- 33:32Speaker 1: December survey found that Americans across the political landscape are
- 33:36Speaker 1: broadly supportive of RFK Jr. 's agenda. America wants maha.
- 33:40Speaker 1: They want make America healthy again. It's only the powerful
- 33:45Speaker 1: who oppose his agenda. And I think COVID radicalized a
- 33:48Speaker 1: lot of people.
- 33:49Speaker 2: It woke us up to.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Corporate medicine, corporate food, to the point where I don't
- 33:56Speaker 1: think it's going to slide this time. You're going to
- 33:58Speaker 1: see massive protests, and at the least, a significant drop
- 34:01Speaker 1: in the already low public trust America has with big
- 34:04Speaker 1: food and big pharma. You want vaccine hesitancy to skyrocket?
- 34:08Speaker 1: Don't confirm RFK Jr., who has simply said scientific safety
- 34:12Speaker 1: studies and efficiency data should be made publicly available. Literally,
- 34:16Speaker 1: they're saying it's bad for public health if you see
- 34:19Speaker 1: the studies on how safe or unsafe this jab is.
- 34:23Speaker 2: It's unreal.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Maha and even MAGA is pretty reasonable to a lot
- 34:30Speaker 1: of people. RFK Jr. is saying, yeah, vaccine manufacturers, they
- 34:35Speaker 1: shouldn't be able to just blatantly be immune from any
- 34:39Speaker 1: kind of liability.
- 34:39Speaker 2: That doesn't make any sense.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Yeah, people should have access to vaccine safety and efficacy studies.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Who would oppose that? This is not controversial stuff. And
- 34:52Speaker 1: America agrees. Here is Bill Maher.
- 34:55Speaker 6: Here's how bad the Democrats f * * * ed up.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Trump is cool now.
- 34:59Speaker 6: He's not just the most powerful.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Guy in the world and just made himself like the richest.
- 35:03Speaker 6: He's actually kind of, at 78, I mean, rappers like him.
- 35:08Speaker 6: The athletes are doing, I was making fun of him
- 35:11Speaker 6: jerking off two guys at one time.
- 35:14Speaker 2: And now he owns it, and they're doing it.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I mean, the.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Village people are gay for Trump now.
- 35:24Speaker 7: He's always been a celebrity, Bill. He was a joke.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Trump is cool. He embodies the masculine energy that's been
- 35:32Speaker 1: missing from America for way too long. Growing up, everything
- 35:37Speaker 1: was gay, overly sensitive, and liberal-coded. The Obama years were
- 35:42Speaker 1: bleak for everybody. But let me just say that as
- 35:44Speaker 1: a young person, the cultural shift I've witnessed has been insane.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I have whiplash from how dramatically things have changed. The movies,
- 35:52Speaker 1: the music, everything was dominated by the left. I'm not
- 35:55Speaker 1: saying it isn't dominated anymore, but organically things have changed.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Hollywood may still be left-wing, but the people themselves, they're changing.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Even the aesthetics were liberal when I was in middle
- 36:09Speaker 1: school and high school. You had Tumblr, K-pop. They had
- 36:14Speaker 1: these hipsters. They wore fedoras at Starbucks. They played the ukulele.
- 36:19Speaker 1: They'd share politically correct memes. Everything was left-wing queer-coded.
- 36:23Speaker 2: Then Trump comes in.
- 36:25Speaker 1: He sweeps up the repressed.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Masculine energy, harnesses it into a movement.
- 36:31Speaker 1: All the normies who were sick of these mentally ill
- 36:36Speaker 1: alt-kids dominating the culture, they put on that red MAGA hat,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and then we're back.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Not Colombia.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Is getting humiliated on the international stage. The WUF has
- 36:46Speaker 1: to sit through Trump trash-talking them for 40 minutes. Now
- 36:52Speaker 1: we've got Trump, he's evoking manifest destiny. We're finally talking
- 36:56Speaker 1: about white hatred, culture, national identity, Christianity. It's all unapologetic
- 37:02Speaker 1: and it's honest. Suddenly it's cool to be right-wing. The
- 37:07Speaker 1: Starbucks hipsters in skinny jeans, they're aging millennials trapped in
- 37:11Speaker 1: the Obama years.
- 37:13Speaker 2: And those they, them, blue hair.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Gen Z, femboy, trans, autistic kids who are on TikTok
- 37:18Speaker 1: that you might see, those guys are not cool.
- 37:23Speaker 2: They're not. Maha is cool.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Fitness is cool.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Discipline.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Religious militancy. American exceptionalism. And things are really looking up.
- 37:37Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys so much for tuning in.
- 37:40Speaker 1: I'm so sorry about the cough. I really hope that
- 37:42Speaker 1: it gets better. I know it's distracting. I will see
- 37:45Speaker 1: you guys tomorrow.
- 37:47Speaker 2: The U.S. Soccer Podcast.
- 37:49Speaker 4: I'm your host, Megan Klingenberg, and I am super stoked
- 37:52Speaker 4: to be joined by Daryl Dike.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Arguably, your most impressive quality.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Cannot be measured.
- 37:57Speaker 2: You're a guy who is the definition of grit. Injuries
- 38:01Speaker 2: have ended plenty of careers, but instead you decided yours
- 38:03Speaker 2: would only be a chapter instead of the ending. Welcome
- 38:06Speaker 2: to the show, Daryl.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Thank you so much.
- 38:08Speaker 7: That's a good intro right there.
- 38:09Speaker 1: That's good. The U.S.
