- 2:12Speaker 4: your crush out on a date, this is something for you.
- 2:16Speaker 3: Roses are red.
- 2:18Speaker 4: TV shows get binged, Let's hold hands and eat wings
- 2:22Speaker 4: during big happy hour at Unhinged.
- 2:26Speaker 2: That's pretty good. Yes, I like that. That's a nice
- 2:28Speaker 2: first date night too. By the way, a big happy
- 2:31Speaker 2: hour is perfect, yeah for a date night, whether you've
- 2:35Speaker 2: been together ten years and you want to dump the
- 2:37Speaker 2: kids off at Grandma's and spend a couple hours enjoying
- 2:40Speaker 2: your life, or if you're on a first date exactly now.
- 2:43Speaker 4: I'm not the only one who can come up with poems.
- 2:46Speaker 4: Gabe Glidden here, he's got some for you too.
- 2:49Speaker 2: I don't know if you know this about me, but
- 2:51Speaker 2: I'm a big romantic I do know that about you.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I'm a romantic guy.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Okay, as my wife is calling us right now here,
- 2:59Speaker 2: no one here, one nine eight seven, All right, Angie,
- 3:02Speaker 2: do you know what I have? Just a nice classic one. Okay,
- 3:05Speaker 2: this is something you might see in like a Valentine's card.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Target could borrow this that new Target in South Fargo
- 3:11Speaker 2: if they want. Okay, we'll just start off with something classy.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Here.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Roses are red, violets are blue. I tolerate everyone, but
- 3:19Speaker 2: somehow I actually like you.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Very sweet, very nice, very sweet.
- 3:23Speaker 4: Did your wife help you with that?
- 3:25Speaker 1: That does actually sound like a poem she would give
- 3:28Speaker 1: to me? Okay?
- 3:29Speaker 2: And do you know what else? There's nothing better than
- 3:32Speaker 2: an honest man. Okay, honesty is attractive. A guy who
- 3:35Speaker 2: can communicate and say how he truly feels.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Okay, carefis worries me, go ahead and gave me what
- 3:41Speaker 4: if you got a poem like this, Angie, roses are read.
- 3:45Speaker 2: My love for you is endless. I wrote you a
- 3:48Speaker 2: Valentine's poem this year so I could spend less.
- 3:52Speaker 4: I mean, if that's not the most Gabe coem.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Hey, honesty is at tracking.
- 3:58Speaker 4: If you identify with Gabe, he should be the one
- 4:00Speaker 4: writing the poems for you.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Okay, I have one more for you here, Angie, and
- 4:05Speaker 2: this one is for you. Another one if you have
- 4:09Speaker 2: struggled in the dating scene and it took you forever
- 4:12Speaker 2: to find that match on Tinder or bumble or grinder
- 4:17Speaker 2: or whatever. Okay, I have got you covered. Roses are red.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Dating was tough. Good thing. We found each other because
- 4:25Speaker 2: swiping was rough.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Oh that's cute.
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's very nice. Cue classic.
- 4:30Speaker 3: I like it.
- 4:31Speaker 4: So if you would like a love poem this Valentine's
- 4:35Speaker 4: season text us call us seven oh one two, eight
- 4:38Speaker 4: oh one nine eight.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Seven, Celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude
- 4:48Speaker 5: on Big ninety eight point seven if I could, I
- 4:50Speaker 5: would keep this feeling in a basket jar busted out
- 4:54Speaker 5: when it was someone's acting hard. Sure your little victories
- 4:57Speaker 5: with us at seven oh one two eight oho one.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Night, kids, I also needed to win that day, all right.
- 5:03Speaker 2: First and foremost, we got to give a big shout
- 5:05Speaker 2: out to Cheyenne. She said it took her twenty three
- 5:08Speaker 2: and a half years of living, but she has finally
- 5:10Speaker 2: learned how to fold paper planes and boats.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, oh, I don't know how to do boats.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Can you teach me?
- 5:15Speaker 1: Girl?
- 5:16Speaker 3: But folding a paper airplane, I mean that is fun.
- 5:19Speaker 1: For hours, that's wonderful. I don't know how to fold
- 5:21Speaker 1: a paper airplane.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I'll show you.
- 5:23Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to learn or get out a YouTube
- 5:24Speaker 1: video or something.
- 5:25Speaker 3: No, no, no, learn from a veteran angie.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Do you have a little victory for me here today?
- 5:31Speaker 3: I do? Okay.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So I have mentioned before that a thing that we
- 5:35Speaker 4: like to do in my house is watch old Jeopardy
- 5:38Speaker 4: episodes and play along and see if we are smart.
- 5:41Speaker 4: And we discovered Celebrity Jeopardy is streaming, and those questions,
- 5:49Speaker 4: because they're for celebrities, are a bit on the easier side,
- 5:52Speaker 4: and so I crushed it. I mean I was getting
- 5:57Speaker 4: question and after questions, just going on.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I was going on a run.
- 6:01Speaker 4: And then finally Mikey got one and he was like,
- 6:04Speaker 4: I got one.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Great.
- 6:06Speaker 4: So basically I'm as smart as celebrities.
- 6:11Speaker 2: You know, when you put it like that, it loses.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It's not that impressive.
- 6:16Speaker 4: But I did feel good about myself for about twenty
- 6:19Speaker 4: five minutes.
- 6:20Speaker 2: That's wonderful, my little victory. What about you, Gabe, That
- 6:23Speaker 2: is wonderful. I'm very happy for you. I'm glad you
- 6:25Speaker 2: know you're getting a nice brain work out on a
- 6:27Speaker 2: family basis. I am so jacked for today's show here
- 6:32Speaker 2: on Big ninety eight point seven. Now this is a
- 6:34Speaker 2: little bit behind the scenes here on the radio. So
- 6:37Speaker 2: when Angie and I come in here, we throw on
- 6:39Speaker 2: our headphones and we try to make you laugh and
- 6:41Speaker 2: entertain you every single day. Well, for the past like month,
- 6:45Speaker 2: I have been rocking some headphones that have just slowly
- 6:49Speaker 2: started to fall apart.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Okay, Now, I.
- 6:51Speaker 3: Mean they were Struggle City on atop of your head.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Yes, they have been passed down in like Big ninety
- 6:58Speaker 2: eight point seven lore. Okay, So these things have been
- 7:01Speaker 2: here for a while, been used for a while, and
- 7:03Speaker 2: they're great, They're wonderful, but you know they're being held
- 7:06Speaker 2: together with glue and tape.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:09Speaker 2: So I went out yesterday and I was like, you know,
- 7:12Speaker 2: I'm just gonna have to buy some.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Let's go get some.
- 7:14Speaker 2: I went and bought some radio headphones that I used
- 7:18Speaker 2: to have. I had them coming out of college. They
- 7:21Speaker 2: lasted like twelve thirteen years, a very long time, and
- 7:24Speaker 2: then finally those ones basically went to headphone heaven. Yeah. Okay,
- 7:30Speaker 2: And so I have got on a brand new pair
- 7:33Speaker 2: of radio headphones today and I could not be more
- 7:37Speaker 2: jacked to rock.
- 7:38Speaker 1: These bad boys.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I mean they're beautiful.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Yeah. I got my new headphones on. They fit perfectly.
- 7:44Speaker 2: They're not falling off my head in the middle of
- 7:46Speaker 2: talking to you here.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I got my dad hat on.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I mean, oh my gosh, I'm so glad that you
- 7:52Speaker 3: mentioned this.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I love it.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I think you've only worn it one other time that
- 7:55Speaker 4: I've seen. Yeah, the Dad Club Collective is of it.
- 7:59Speaker 1: It's a I think it says Dad Club Collective.
- 8:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I really like it.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Yeah, it matches your headphones very well exactly.
- 8:06Speaker 2: So every time that we talk to you this morning
- 8:09Speaker 2: on Big ninety eight point seven. I want you to
- 8:12Speaker 2: know I am hearing everything crisp and clear, and my
- 8:16Speaker 2: headphones aren't moving around. I'm not doing the show half
- 8:19Speaker 2: one handed, not saying we're not going to mess things
- 8:21Speaker 2: up here today, but we're gonna.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Hear that's right. I'll know when something goes wrong.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Now, you maybe have heard there's a little football game
- 8:31Speaker 2: that's going to be played this weekend. With this football game,
- 8:37Speaker 2: the super Bowl, it is a one of the most
- 8:39Speaker 2: watched events of every year. Yeah, it is so exciting,
- 8:43Speaker 2: even if you're not a fan of the other teams.
- 8:45Speaker 2: They have done such a good work of weaving in
- 8:47Speaker 2: ways for the casual viewer or the viewer who couldn't
- 8:51Speaker 2: care less yeh, to still enjoy it, you know, with
- 8:54Speaker 2: the massive halftime shows, the commercials.
- 8:57Speaker 1: And now.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Have done a thing where the average person can get
- 9:02Speaker 2: in a little wager or two. So, Angie, what I
- 9:05Speaker 2: would like to do. It will only be five dollars.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I want you to bet very real five dollars, and
- 9:13Speaker 2: I am the bank. Okay, yes, if you win, I
- 9:19Speaker 2: will give you very real money back. If you lose,
- 9:24Speaker 2: you will venmo me very real money, okay, okay. And
- 9:27Speaker 2: we're only just gonna do one dollar per these bets, okay,
- 9:31Speaker 2: and we'll go up to five.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I like this. We'll keep it.
- 9:35Speaker 2: We're gonna gamble responsibly, all right. Gambling can be fun.
- 9:38Speaker 2: It can be a great time as long as you
- 9:41Speaker 2: can safely and affordably do it.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Okay.
- 9:43Speaker 2: If you're losing the house or the car gambling, we
- 9:46Speaker 2: need to go get some help out.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Okay, there's a hotline for that.
- 9:48Speaker 1: That's exactly right, all right, Angie.
- 9:50Speaker 2: So here are some very real prop bets for the
- 9:53Speaker 2: super Bowl.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Okay. So these aren't bet based on the score.
- 9:57Speaker 1: No, these are prop bets and they are very real. Okay.
- 10:00Speaker 2: You could gamble on these if you'd like. And Angie
- 10:02Speaker 2: is going to do it, and I am the bank. Okay, Angie,
- 10:06Speaker 2: which Bay Area landmark will be shown first? And I
- 10:12Speaker 2: will give you some of the odds here, Okay, okay,
- 10:14Speaker 2: because I really think the it's pretty obvious what the
- 10:18Speaker 2: I think the favorite would be. But so the Golden
- 10:21Speaker 2: gate Bridge is the odds on favorite. People are saying
- 10:25Speaker 2: there's like a ninety percent chance that that is the
- 10:27Speaker 2: first landmark that they show.
- 10:30Speaker 3: I think that's the literal only landmark.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I know, yeah, that's what I would have went went to.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Now, there are some people who have bet Alcatraz could
- 10:40Speaker 2: be it?
- 10:42Speaker 1: So do you want to just go with the favorite here?
- 10:44Speaker 3: No, I want to go with Alcatraz.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Yeah, one dollar on Alcatraz. Okay.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So if it is not Alcatraz on Sunday, oh, you
- 10:53Speaker 2: allow me a buck for that bet?
- 10:54Speaker 1: Okay, Angie? All right, I got a couple more for
- 10:56Speaker 1: you here.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Will Bad Bunny expose his bare chest during the halftime show?
- 11:06Speaker 2: This is another very real prop bet. Essentially, are you
- 11:09Speaker 2: gonna see some nip or not from Bad Bunny at
- 11:13Speaker 2: the halftime show?
- 11:13Speaker 1: You're gonna say yes? Okay.
- 11:15Speaker 2: So Angie has wagered two dollars with bank Glitten over here. Okay,
- 11:20Speaker 2: I have two more for you here, Angie. This is
- 11:22Speaker 2: one of my favorite ones. Right when I read this,
- 11:24Speaker 2: I was like, oh, it'll be thisause I feel like
- 11:27Speaker 2: it is a lot. But it has been other colors. Okay,
- 11:30Speaker 2: what color liquid will be poured on the winning coach?
- 11:36Speaker 1: Is it going to be orange? Blue? Red? You're gonna
- 11:39Speaker 1: go with blue? Okay? One dollar on blue?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Now my guest was gonna be orange, which is funny
- 11:44Speaker 2: because blue and orange.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Are the two favorites.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Okay, you know who I think always makes a bunch
- 11:51Speaker 2: of money on this bet. I think it's like once
- 11:53Speaker 2: every fifteen years or something like that. It's green, which
- 11:57Speaker 2: is like the worst Gatorade flavor. Yeah, believe in green
- 12:01Speaker 2: as a flavor. Right, sorry, all right, I have one
- 12:03Speaker 2: more prop bet for you. These are very real prop
- 12:05Speaker 2: bets you can make for the game. As Angie is
- 12:08Speaker 2: betting one dollar on all of these things with bank glidden. Here, Angie,
- 12:12Speaker 2: the official viewership of the game will be over one
- 12:17Speaker 2: hundred eighteen million, will be more or less the viewership.
- 12:23Speaker 4: Gosh for uh more, more, more and more and more.
- 12:28Speaker 2: Okay, over one hundred eighteen So Angie will write these down.
- 12:32Speaker 2: You have bet four dollars. Okay, which Bay Area landmark
- 12:36Speaker 2: will be shown?
- 12:37Speaker 1: First?
- 12:37Speaker 2: You've gone with Alpatraz, which is not a favorite. Okay,
- 12:42Speaker 2: Will bad Bunny expose his bare chest?
- 12:45Speaker 6: Yes?
- 12:45Speaker 1: You have said yes, what color liquid will be on
- 12:48Speaker 1: the coach? You went blue?
- 12:49Speaker 2: And then you said more than one hundred eighteen million
- 12:53Speaker 2: people will watch the Super Bowl?
- 12:54Speaker 3: Yeah, not to be dollar rich.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, coming up, on Monday, we'll find out does Angie
- 12:59Speaker 2: win up buck two bucks or is she owing bank
- 13:03Speaker 2: glitten of four dollars? Here with Big ninety eight point seven, in.
- 13:08Speaker 5: The world of Rules in Gray Areas, one Morning Show
- 13:11Speaker 5: dares to ask the hard questions.
- 13:13Speaker 1: We both know you're guilty.
- 13:14Speaker 3: He's guilty.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Is it legal?
- 13:17Speaker 2: You're guilty of the worst crime of all? On Big
- 13:20Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven, have you ever noticed how spray
- 13:24Speaker 2: paint makes people feel instantly artistic? Okay, one minute you're
- 13:29Speaker 2: going to Walmart or Target buying toothpaste. The next you're like,
- 13:32Speaker 2: you know what, this bridge needs a giant raccoon wearing sunglasses. Well,
- 13:37Speaker 2: I got bad news, Banksy. In North Dakota, you can't
- 13:41Speaker 2: just spray paint whatever you want without permission. That's actually
- 13:44Speaker 2: called vandalism. Oh ma, it's not urban expression. It's not
- 13:49Speaker 2: midnight decorating vandalism. You gotta ask first. Imagine treating everything
- 13:55Speaker 2: that way, you know what I mean? Like, Hey, neighbor,
- 13:57Speaker 2: I really love what you've done with the garage, but
- 13:59Speaker 2: it was miss a twelve foot dragon.
- 14:01Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 14:03Speaker 2: So no, you cannot go spray paint anything or anywhere
- 14:07Speaker 2: in the FM area.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Even if it's like a nice, like sweet like no.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Hours not without permission, you can't do it and listen.
- 14:15Speaker 2: If your artistic urge only happens at two am while
- 14:18Speaker 2: wearing a hoodie, that's not inspiration.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Okay, that's evidence.
- 14:21Speaker 2: So if you feel creativity bubbling up, try a canvas,
- 14:26Speaker 2: try paper, try one of those adult coloring books that
- 14:29Speaker 2: all of us secretly love. Or here's a wild idea,
- 14:33Speaker 2: ask permission and paint a mural, because nothing ruins your
- 14:37Speaker 2: art career faster than your first gallery being a courtroom.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Oh my god, I was looking if there was a
- 14:44Speaker 2: way for you to legally spray paint something somewhere anywhere
- 14:48Speaker 2: in the FM area, and there is not. Everything you
- 14:52Speaker 2: will need permission.
- 14:53Speaker 4: I'm just gonna go admire the murals in downtown.
- 14:56Speaker 1: That's right.
- 15:02Speaker 2: When we were I don't know if you saw this.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Have you ever heard of those tiny desk concerts?
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yes? Love them?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Okay, Well, there's a nine year old piano prodigy who
- 15:13Speaker 2: essentially dominates one of these NPR tiny desk concert things,
- 15:19Speaker 2: nine years old, an absolute stud on the keys. So
- 15:24Speaker 2: that got me thinking here this morning, what were you
- 15:26Speaker 2: really good at when you were young, and you probably
- 15:29Speaker 2: just aren't that great at it anymore. I want this
- 15:32Speaker 2: nine year old to stick with it. Yeah, the next
- 15:34Speaker 2: Ray Charles or something.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Oh gosh, when I was little, I was and I
- 15:38Speaker 4: never got any formal training. We couldn't afford classes. But
- 15:42Speaker 4: I was really good at gymnastics. I was so good,
- 15:46Speaker 4: and in fact, to this day, I'm not good at
- 15:50Speaker 4: it now. So to this day, when I've had a
- 15:53Speaker 4: little too much to drink, the way you know, to
- 15:56Speaker 4: cut me off is the second I start saying I
- 16:00Speaker 4: could have been a gymnast, all that I could have
- 16:03Speaker 4: been a gymnast, and it's like, well, don't serve her anymore.
- 16:06Speaker 3: But yeah, I used to be really good and now
- 16:08Speaker 3: I'm not. Just that's a morning that's so true.
- 16:14Speaker 2: That was accidentally very honest from Angie here this morning.
- 16:17Speaker 2: If Angie ever busts out like all, I can do
- 16:19Speaker 2: a cartwheel, I can do a backflip. Absolutely, do not
- 16:22Speaker 2: give me one more drop. Okay, Well, Angie, I'll take
- 16:26Speaker 2: that bush light from you. Well, well, I think you
- 16:29Speaker 2: know what, Angie, at one point maybe you were destined
- 16:32Speaker 2: for gymnasts gymnastic greatness. Yeah, but sadly life happens, you know,
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah seven oh one two, eight zero one, nine eighty seven.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Something you were really good at when you were younger,
- 16:42Speaker 2: and then just as you got older, you just either
- 16:45Speaker 2: a didn't really stick with it or you just kind
- 16:46Speaker 2: of lost a love for it.
- 16:47Speaker 1: What about you, Tessa.
- 16:48Speaker 6: I used to function on four hours of sleep, like
- 16:51Speaker 6: it was a personality trait. And now if I don't
- 16:54Speaker 6: get eight, i'm mad at strangers and my phone.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That's so true.
- 16:58Speaker 3: That's called.
- 17:01Speaker 2: I've actually gotten the other way. When I was younger,
- 17:03Speaker 2: I was so good at sleeping in. You know, when
- 17:05Speaker 2: I would sleep past like ten am. My Grandma would
- 17:09Speaker 2: always be like, you know, good for you.
- 17:11Speaker 1: She was so happy.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Oh what a supportive grandma.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Mostly because I think she would get up at seven
- 17:16Speaker 2: and have a few hours by herself.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that is the dream. Yeah, no, no, what.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Else I've actually I think I've told you about this before,
- 17:22Speaker 2: But when I was younger, to this day, I still
- 17:25Speaker 2: think I could have set the record for pogo stick jumping.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Oh that's right. I still am convinced I could have
- 17:31Speaker 2: done it. Now now I don't know if like the knees,
- 17:35Speaker 2: the back, the arms, the will to live would hold
- 17:39Speaker 2: up to be able to set that record. But when
- 17:42Speaker 2: I was when I was younger, I really thought I
- 17:44Speaker 2: was destined for the Guinness Book of World Records.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Andrew, what about you? What were you good at when
- 17:48Speaker 1: you were younger?
- 17:49Speaker 6: I used to be able to run super fast, like
- 17:51Speaker 6: I was a freaking speed demon. I live everyone away
- 17:55Speaker 6: and every race I was in. I never wanted to
- 17:57Speaker 6: be on the track team, but I was probably faster
- 18:00Speaker 6: than anyone on my schools team.
- 18:02Speaker 1: I like that.
- 18:03Speaker 2: I mean, I'm still pretty quick for the most part.
- 18:05Speaker 2: But I remember when I hit thirty years old. I
- 18:09Speaker 2: was playing softball, beer League softball. I hit thirty years old,
- 18:12Speaker 2: and you know I had to run to second base,
- 18:14Speaker 2: got hit and trying to get a double, YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I remember halfway to second base, I'm like, you know,
- 18:19Speaker 2: like three years ago.
- 18:20Speaker 1: I'd have been there already. What am I doing? I'm
- 18:23Speaker 1: slowing down.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Funny, yesterday, the United Way was in and we were
- 18:34Speaker 2: just doing some talking for giving hard Steak coming up,
- 18:37Speaker 2: and I made this video with them that you will
- 18:38Speaker 2: see very soon on various radio FM media Facebook pages.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And one of the things they asked me to do
- 18:45Speaker 2: was to send them a picture of me when I
- 18:47Speaker 2: was young. I feel that they could print out, and
- 18:50Speaker 2: they brought in you know this man, not massive, but
- 18:54Speaker 2: it's pretty big photo, this portrait of me as a
- 18:57Speaker 2: young kid, and I'm gabye baby, yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 1: And I've you know, a bunch of people.
- 19:01Speaker 2: I was showing him in the building and I was like, oh, man,
- 19:03Speaker 2: in about six seven is months, six six or so months,
- 19:07Speaker 2: it would be one of these little things running around. Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 2: unless it looks like their mother, of course. And then
- 19:12Speaker 2: I've kind of paused and I went, oh god, I
- 19:15Speaker 2: need I gotta start saving some money.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but I did help spend.
- 19:18Speaker 2: See, Angie's been letting me know that basically every day
- 19:21Speaker 2: since we told you this news here in November, and
- 19:25Speaker 2: so I need to know what is something that you've
- 19:28Speaker 2: given up or you're trying to give up or cut
- 19:30Speaker 2: down on for spending to save money in twenty twenty six.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Some of these might help me be prepped for basically
- 19:39Speaker 2: not ever having money ever again. Coming up here in
- 19:42Speaker 2: June and July seven oh one two eight zero one
- 19:45Speaker 2: nine eight seven, Angie, is there something you have cut
- 19:47Speaker 2: down on?
- 19:47Speaker 1: What do I feel like you have?
- 19:49Speaker 3: Uh?
- 19:50Speaker 4: Yes, I have but it's very recent and it's that
- 19:52Speaker 4: I got rid of my food.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Delivery, that's what it was. Yeah, yeah, because I can't.
- 19:58Speaker 4: I mean, why am I spending forty dollars on something
- 20:01Speaker 4: that originally only fifteen?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, those do.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It's so crazy because it is so convenient, and there
- 20:09Speaker 2: are times where it is I am more than willing
- 20:11Speaker 2: to take the lazy way out. But yeah, when it's
- 20:14Speaker 2: you know, four or five o'clock, the day's not even
- 20:17Speaker 2: close to really like a third well not a third,
- 20:20Speaker 2: but it's not even two thirds over, it's like, just
- 20:22Speaker 2: get in your car and go.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Get just get in your car.
- 20:24Speaker 4: And even so for me it was having it always delivered.
- 20:29Speaker 4: I started by being like, okay, well I'll just do
- 20:32Speaker 4: pickup instead of delivery because that'll save me some fees.
- 20:35Speaker 4: But then it got to the point where like Mikey
- 20:38Speaker 4: would do the pickups, so then I felt real comfortable
- 20:41Speaker 4: ordering a lot. And so now I've just deleted the
- 20:45Speaker 4: apps altogether, so just you know, minus a couple hiccups
- 20:48Speaker 4: where I ordered Sandy's Donuts the other week twice in
- 20:52Speaker 4: one week.
- 20:53Speaker 3: But yeah, I got to cut out those apps.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a really good one.
- 20:57Speaker 2: There's a lot of people who are helping out too
- 20:58Speaker 2: on the big ninety eight point seven in Facebook page,
- 21:00Speaker 2: like Ryan. This one is I think, such a cool perspective.
- 21:05Speaker 2: He said, books the library is free. I can wait
- 21:09Speaker 2: a few Yeah, I can wait a few months for
- 21:11Speaker 2: a new release. And if they don't have the specific
- 21:13Speaker 2: thing I want, I can just choose something else. That
- 21:17Speaker 2: is so true to support your libraries, because you do.
- 21:22Speaker 4: Do you use audible for your audiobooks too, But you
- 21:25Speaker 4: know that at the Fargo Public Library you can do
- 21:28Speaker 4: audio books. You can check them out and it's free.
- 21:30Speaker 4: So yeah, that might be the move for That might
- 21:33Speaker 4: be a move for me. That's right, Penny. And now
- 21:35Speaker 4: Penny just gets a big round of applause here. Now
- 21:39Speaker 4: I don't smoke or whatever, but Penny said smoking gonna
- 21:42Speaker 4: save her five grand a year.
- 21:45Speaker 3: At Yes, go on vacation with that money.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:50Speaker 2: And then a lot of people, Angie are kind of
- 21:52Speaker 2: on the food bandwagon, which is exactly the wagon I
- 21:55Speaker 2: would be on.
- 21:56Speaker 1: They're gonna try to.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Eat out less, order less or yea livery or whatever,
- 22:00Speaker 2: which is so smart.
- 22:02Speaker 1: But I do I respect I respect.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Ashley's answer here, Ashley, what are you giving up here
- 22:08Speaker 2: to save money. In twenty twenty six, she said, absolutely nothing.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Life is short. Enjoy it. Someone once told.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Me you can always make more money, but you can
- 22:16Speaker 2: never get mac time, go out to eat, go to
- 22:19Speaker 2: the concert, spend money, because you can't take it with
- 22:22Speaker 2: you when you die.
- 22:23Speaker 1: And I have lived by.
- 22:26Speaker 2: By that life strategy for upwards of thirty five years.
- 22:30Speaker 4: I don't think Ashley's expecting a kid an.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Maybe that's your dream job for a day is you
- 22:42Speaker 2: just don't have to go to work.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Some people would some people would call that PTO.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Yeah, But I was wondering after finding out this hilarious
- 22:51Speaker 2: story of this man who he just wanted to be
- 22:54Speaker 2: one of these employees for a day, wild reason to
- 22:58Speaker 2: get arrested, but hilarious.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Arrested for it?
- 23:01Speaker 1: What did he do? Hilarious?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Nonetheless, a man broke into a little Caesar's pizza place
- 23:09Speaker 2: and started making and selling pizzas. So not only a
- 23:13Speaker 2: did he get nothing out of it other than the
- 23:15Speaker 2: joy of working at a little Caesar's for a few hours.
- 23:17Speaker 2: He made the company money. Why are they pressing charges?
- 23:20Speaker 2: Hire this point?
- 23:21Speaker 4: Yeah, hire him, that's hilarious.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I mean, could you imagine, you know what, going up
- 23:27Speaker 2: to your little Caesar shift and there's just a random
- 23:29Speaker 2: dude in here going, yeah, hey, I got the dough
- 23:31Speaker 2: prepped all right and the sausage right and excuse me, sir,
- 23:33Speaker 2: who are you?
- 23:34Speaker 4: If I'm any other employees any like, I would just
- 23:37Speaker 4: be like, that's fine, I'm gonna go with it.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Less work for me, excellent.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 23:44Speaker 2: If you could try any job for one day, what.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Would it be?
- 23:50Speaker 2: Let us know here this morning, and this also is
- 23:53Speaker 2: up on Facebook. Amanda said, if I could handle bodily
- 23:58Speaker 2: fluids and blood, I would be a surgeon.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Okay, is you this is what I would do?
- 24:03Speaker 4: You know what, I've been watching a lot of The
- 24:05Speaker 4: Pit on HBO and it just won like a bunch
- 24:08Speaker 4: of Emmys, and it's a hospital emergency situation in Pittsburgh,
- 24:14Speaker 4: and you know, they call it the Pit, and this show,
- 24:17Speaker 4: it's so intense all of the things that happen, and
- 24:20Speaker 4: there's so much like blood and guts and whatever.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And if all of a sudden, like I just had.
- 24:25Speaker 4: The skills for that day, I kind of would want
- 24:28Speaker 4: to see what it would be like to be in
- 24:30Speaker 4: like a trauma emergency room.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Yeah, oh yeah.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I feel it would be kind of eye opening and
- 24:35Speaker 2: life changing about all the things that those people go through.
- 24:37Speaker 4: But if I don't have the skills, I just in
- 24:41Speaker 4: my head it's like, you can do it for day
- 24:43Speaker 4: and you have the skills to do it. If not,
- 24:44Speaker 4: I would be killing people. So if that's not the situation,
- 24:48Speaker 4: I don't want to work.
- 24:49Speaker 3: In a movie theater.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah that'd be cool. Yeah, that'd be a lot of fun.
- 24:51Speaker 2: I think, what about you, Stephanie, a job for a day,
- 24:54Speaker 2: if you could have anything, I.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Go to be a crime scene cleaner for one day.
- 24:57Speaker 6: Not because I'm brave, because I'm not. But I would
- 25:00Speaker 6: need to know if I feel wildly empowered or just
- 25:04Speaker 6: like immediately pass out. Also, I love a job with
- 25:07Speaker 6: clear before and after result.
- 25:09Speaker 1: That's interesting.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Hold on a crime scene cleanly, not like an investigator.
- 25:15Speaker 4: No no, no, no critical thinking, just clean up the
- 25:18Speaker 4: blizz All right.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Well, what about you, Bryce.
- 25:21Speaker 6: I'd like to see what it's like being one of
- 25:23Speaker 6: those crab fishermen, you know, the ones that go work
- 25:25Speaker 6: out in the middle of those crazy ways. Yeah, pull
- 25:28Speaker 6: in king crab. I mean, that's got to be insane.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Right, World's Deadliest Catch. What a show? I love that show?
- 25:34Speaker 3: Well, and but you really die? What if that's the
- 25:37Speaker 3: one day and you die?
- 25:39Speaker 2: Well, you know what if it's the one day you
- 25:41Speaker 2: walk out your door and get hit by a plane.
- 25:43Speaker 2: You know you can't live like that, right, I guess right.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Deborah on Facebook said she would be a detective. Stacey
- 25:50Speaker 2: said a pilot. The view would be amazing.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Again.
- 25:54Speaker 4: The things that I worry about is if you are
- 25:57Speaker 4: granted access for a day but you possess none of
- 26:00Speaker 4: the skills, We're gonna have helicopters crashing of all sorts
- 26:05Speaker 4: of problems.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I would do for a day
- 26:08Speaker 2: if I could what? I just want to be like
- 26:11Speaker 2: a beer taster.
- 26:12Speaker 4: Bruh, you're that every day I.
- 26:20Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 26:23Speaker 5: Good News on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 26:27Speaker 1: And we do have someone on the phone.
- 26:30Speaker 2: We were talking about if you could have any job
- 26:32Speaker 2: for one day, just to try it to be fun
- 26:36Speaker 2: or something, what would it be?
- 26:37Speaker 1: And who do we have?
- 26:38Speaker 4: Why?
- 26:38Speaker 1: All right, Well, what job would you have for a day.
- 26:40Speaker 4: If you could, I'd be on the Big ninety eight
- 26:43Speaker 4: point seven Warning show.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Oh, thanks.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Why.
- 26:47Speaker 3: I think I love that while that either means he
- 26:50Speaker 3: like really loves.
- 26:50Speaker 4: The show or he thinks he could do a better job.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Either way, probably right, probably, you.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Know, maybe yeah, if he listens every day he goes, oh,
- 26:58Speaker 2: they're my favorite, or he goes like, we gotta get
- 27:00Speaker 2: someone in there with some better jokes. We also have
- 27:04Speaker 2: to give a big shout out for Gabes good News
- 27:06Speaker 2: of the day to Kelly, who did respond on the
- 27:08Speaker 2: Big ninety eight point seven facebook page if she could
- 27:10Speaker 2: have any job for a day, what would it be?
- 27:12Speaker 2: And it would be to DJ the show with Gabe
- 27:15Speaker 2: and Angie on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 27:17Speaker 1: So thank you, Kelly. We greatly appreciate that.
- 27:19Speaker 6: I love that.
- 27:19Speaker 3: There's so many people who want to be DJ for
- 27:21Speaker 3: a day.
- 27:22Speaker 1: That's right, come hang out with us. I think that'd
- 27:24Speaker 1: be kind of cool. All right.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Well, very short and sweet Gabes good news of the day.
- 27:28Speaker 2: We hope you have a great day, Wyatt, and stop
- 27:30Speaker 2: eye and come see us whenever I guess the front
- 27:33Speaker 2: doors are open.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Yes, all right.
- 27:35Speaker 2: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 27:37Speaker 2: find one, you gotta be one.
