  leadership, lies, and lusts.

  I want you to understand something today.

  Some of the biggest spiritual battles and shipwrecks, they don't start in public. They start in private.

  You know, everyone has this saying they love to say, well, they fell into sin.

  All poor brother so-and-so fell into sin.
• 0:58
  Poor sister such-and-such, she fell into sin. But can I just tell you,

  nobody really falls into sin.

  They actually run right into it. They run fast, fast and furious, like the car show.

  You actually run into sin. So I'm going to talk to you today about some of the stuff that's going on.

  And also, you know, just my heart towards some of these women,
• 1:16
  like, and I'm not saying that men don't get jacked up by women,
• 1:19
  but there have just been so many men that are spiritual leaders that are really
• 1:25
  running ripshot over women.
• 1:27
  And I don't understand how more women don't see these fools for what they are.
• 1:33
  So I'm just going to give you some practical things. If you're a man or if you're
• 1:37
  a woman, this is going to help whoever is watching. There's no like, you know,
• 1:41
  If you're like, I don't know if this is for me, it's for you.
• 1:44
  So just tune in and you need to watch, all right? All right,

  let me get to this right now.

  So I wanna talk to you that sex was designed by God, but there's protections
• 1:53
  around it, that sex in the pulpit and leadership and lies, what is going on with all that?

  I wanna talk to you about lust being bigger than sex.

  I wanna talk to you about ways to protect your purity.
• 2:05
  I wanna talk to you about being smarter than the devil. Y'all ready? All right.

  So first and foremost, in James 1, 14 through 15, it says, Every man is tempted
• 2:15
  when he's drawn away by his own lust.
• 2:18
  The devil made me do it. You say that. Say the devil. Say, it's not the devil.

  The devil made me do it. It's the devil. It's the devil. Okay,
• 2:29
  it's not always the devil. Sometimes it's you.
• 2:31
  Every man is tempted when he's drawn away by his own lust and enticed.
• 2:35
  When lust is conceived, it brings forth sin. And when sin is finished, it brings death.
• 2:44
  So, even though sex is bounce, it feels good. If you do it with the wrong person,
• 2:49
  it's going to feel wrong and bad.
• 2:51
  Now, I'm not saying you won't feel right at first, but you know,
• 2:54
  it's like those stupid songs. If loving you is wrong, I don't want to be right.
• 2:58
  Baby, you want to be right.
• 2:59
  Because if loving him is wrong, that wife comes in, she's going to shoot you
• 3:03
  up like a, I don't even know what.
• 3:05
  So people need to be careful. I don't, here's something that'll help you.

  Before you do something stupid, think all the way through.

  Man, my husband isn't acting right. My wife isn't acting right.
• 3:15
  This pastor's really just giving me a lot of attention. Maybe his wife is not nice to him.

  And maybe you're already like, you're just being a mess.
• 3:24
  Think it all the way through. Think to yourself, okay, if I take this step because
• 3:28
  I'm just desiring attention and I do this with this person, what's going to
• 3:33
  happen when my family finds out, my husband finds out, when everything falls
• 3:36
  apart? You just, you don't want that.

  So the Bible doesn't say the devil makes you do it. The Bible says you're tempted
• 3:43
  when you're drawn away by something you want.
• 3:45
  So, but careful, but careful, but careful.

  Good Lord, I cannot even talk sometimes on these podcasts. Be careful what you
• 3:54
  do, because it's going to have consequences.
• 3:57
  You know, sex was designed by God.

  So sex is a good thing. Husbands and wives, if you're having,
• 4:03
  if you're not having sex, I know us ladies sometimes got to work on that a little
• 4:06
  more, but you can work on that. But sex is a good thing.

  It's not evil. It actually is sacred.
• 4:11
  It's the only way that two become one.
• 4:14
  And the Bible said that man and wife come together, the two become one.
• 4:17
  So sex is actually a God idea. Thank you, Lord.

  Genesis 2, 24. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and shall cleave
• 4:26
  to his wife and they'll be one flesh.
• 4:28
  God designed sex for covenant. It's a promise. It's a purpose.
• 4:33
  In Hebrews 13, 4, it says marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled.
• 4:39
  But whoremongers and adulterers, God will judge. Yeesh.
• 4:43
  Don't judge me. Don't you judge. You know how people always say that.
• 4:46
  Don't you judge me. Don't you judge. You're not going to judge.
• 4:49
  You know, you know all that.
• 4:51
  Somebody's fixing to get judged eventually. So judge yourself or you're going to get judged.

  So God doesn't put unnecessary boundaries around sex to restrict you.

  He puts it there to protect you.

  Pain doesn't give you permission to do something dumb. If you're mouthy to your
• 5:09
  husband, maybe you're not the best wife, that doesn't give him permission to
• 5:12
  run off with some other lady.
• 5:14
  If, you know, some other lady isn't acting right husbands, that doesn't give
• 5:18
  you a right to go look at somebody else.
• 5:20
  You know, maybe a pastor's like, man, my wife doesn't understand me anymore.
• 5:23
  I'm tired. I'm working hard. And then here's this intern.
• 5:26
  Okay, you're already in trouble. And this is happening in a lot of people with a lot of leadership.

  In Romans 12, 17, it says, recompense no man evil for evil, provide things that
• 5:37
  are honest, Romans 3.8, and rather not let us do, don't do evil, that good will come.
• 5:44
  Come on, hurt doesn't justify a sin.
• 5:47
  I want you to know something, that lust starts really small.
• 5:51
  In Matthew 5.27, it says, we've heard that it was said by some of these that
• 5:56
  you will not commit adultery.
• 5:57
  But I say, whoever looks at a woman and and wants her, lust after her,
• 6:02
  commits adultery already.
• 6:04
  So lust actually begins in the heart long before you touch that body.
• 6:09
  See, there's a lot of scandals. I don't know when you'll be watching this,
• 6:12
  but I'm guessing it'll be for all time because that's just how it goes.
• 6:15
  There's a lot of scandals of preachers or pastors or leaders or whatever.
• 6:20
  And it's awful. It messes up the body of Christ. It messes up families. It messes up churches.
• 6:25
  But at the end of the day, you know, these things start small.
• 6:29
  These things start from conversations in offices that should never have been held.
• 6:34
  One way to protect yourself, man or woman, if you're married,
• 6:37
  you just don't go be alone with somebody else.
• 6:40
  Because if you're never alone, nothing can happen.
• 6:42
  You don't go talk on the phone alone. You don't go in their office alone.
• 6:45
  You don't go hang out. You surely don't ride in their car alone.
• 6:48
  You've got to watch yourself.
• 6:50
  Guard yourself. I know you might like the attention. I know you might think it's cool.

  I know you might feel loved or desired or wanted, but I need a buzzer.

  This is bad, and it's going to end up bad, and everyone's going to despise you.

  If you ever hook up with a pastor and he's a mess, they're going to despise
• 7:07
  him, but they're also going to despise you.

  You know, you'd be called a homewrecker and all that kind of stuff,
• 7:11
  and God loves you so much. Can I tell you something, lady?

  If you're looking at some other man right now and you happen to be watching
• 7:18
  this, can I tell you you're worth more than that?

  Can I tell you you're worth more than some other lady's husband who's dissatisfied?
• 7:26
  Man, can I tell you that you're worth more than just throwing your honor on
• 7:29
  the ground and stomping on it?

  Just because, you know, your wife might not have as tight abs as when you once
• 7:34
  met her. I mean, that wife birthed your kids.

  Have some respect. Talk to her. Fix it. Don't do stupid things.

  1 Corinthians 6.18. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does without the
• 7:46
  body, but the sin of fornication is against his own body.

  Come on, when you have fornication, by the way, that's something that's like, this is not good.

  It's just not good at all. When it's something that's of sin.

  Guard your heart. Proverbs 4.23. Come on, this is in like almost all my broadcast.

  Keep your heart with diligence, for out of it comes the issues of life. Psalm 101.3.

  I won't set anything wicked above my eyes. All right.

  What about all these people that they tell you they're a pastor,

  they tell you they're a leader?

  There's been a lot of prophets that are doing dumb stuff. I mean,

  I just hear some of this, I swear, I'm telling you, it's like insane.

  I've heard of some preachers or pastors or something, I don't know.

  And they told the lady that if she would take her clothes off,
• 8:30
  I just can't even believe I'm saying this, but if she would take her clothes
• 8:33
  off, that I think he said he could prophesy better or she could hear God. I don't even know.

  But I'm just thinking, okay, what part of that even remotely sounds like a man of God?

  Come on, ladies, we got to have more sense than that. Come on,
• 8:46
  are you really that crazy?
• 8:48
  Is that guy got such a hold on you? You just think he's such a great leader
• 8:52
  that you just throw all common sense to the ground and stomp it?
• 8:56
  We can't be doing stuff like that. Come on, we need to be smarter than that.

  You know, there's a lot of spiritual manipulation and stuff like that.

  And I don't really even, honestly, I don't even know how at heart,
• 9:06
  because you can't manipulate me like that.

  But I think what happens is maybe people get lonely. I don't know.

  And they think this guy is great. I don't know.
• 9:14
  And then he says something stupid and it's like your brain shuts down.

  Maybe it's deception. Maybe it's a spirit. I don't know. But hear me with all my heart, all right?

  That spiritual leaders do not take you out to lunch by yourself.

  They don't call you and send you sweet little messages to encourage you all alone.

  They don't tell you ever to take your clothes off, okay? Can we just get that off the table?

  Never, ever, never, never, never should any so-called anybody of God tell someone
• 9:44
  that you can hear God better without your clothes.

  You might be saying, Lisa, what in God's earth are you talking about?

  Yeah, that's happening.

  There was one idiot. He told some prophet that as long as he didn't have intercourse,

  he could keep his prophetic gift.

  Are you out of your mind? You're going to hell. That's what's going to happen.

  You'll be just going to hell.

  You're going to hell. All right, Matthew 7, 16. Get off that.

  You'll know them by their fruits. Yeah. Some of them are rotten and stanky.

  They got stanky fruit, and you just don't want that person around.

  You'll know them by their fruits. If a prophet tells a woman to do something
• 10:18
  wrong, that's not a prophet.

  1 John 4, 1, beloved, not every spirit, you need to try the spirits, whether they are of God.

  God is not a schizophrenic. He's telling you, hey, you, beloved,
• 10:32
  hey, you, get out of my, he's saying, look, every spirit is not, every spirit is not God.

  And honestly, this should just make sense. This should be common sense.

  If you're talking to a dude, he's supposed to be a man of God.

  And he puts his hand on your knee, that's not God. You're talking to a guy,
• 10:49
  he tells you that his wife just doesn't understand him and that you understand
• 10:53
  him. You are not that special.

  Don't listen to that idiot liar. That guy's making a play for you and you need to run.

  You need to be like Joseph and run as far as your little feet will take you. 2 Corinthians 11, 14.

  Don't marvel for Satan himself transformed to an angel of light.

  You already know that. The devil is sneaky.

  Affairs start in proximity and secret.

  Proverbs 6, 27 and 28. Can a man take fire to his bosom? Woo,

  that's hot. And his clothes be not burned?

  Can one go upon hot coals and his feet not be burned? No.

  No. The answer is no. No, you cannot. You cannot play with fire and not get burned.

  Well, you know, we're just going to lunch because we work together and bull crap.

  Before you know it, you're liking that lunch a little too much.

  You're telling him problems about your husband.
• 11:40
  He's telling you problems about his wife. Look, that's how affairs start.

  You're not just falling into sin. You're running into it. You can't go meet
• 11:47
  at lunch with some other dude and tell him how jacked up your husband is.

  Won't be long till he's like, well, I just don't understand why he doesn't appreciate
• 11:53
  you like that. And I just think you should be loved.

  And before you know it, you're just like, oh my, you call up Sally.

  Oh my gosh, Sally, Bob just really understands me.
• 12:07
  And oh, good Lord. And you're just being lied to and you're being lusted after.

  And here's the thing, can I just say this out loud?

  This is for married couples, not for someone with a weird old prophet that's
• 12:16
  telling you to take your clothes off. But if you're married,
• 12:19
  okay, nobody really knows you better than your spouse.
• 12:22
  Do you understand that? Your spouse knows that sometimes you fart in the bed,
• 12:26
  sometimes you're gross. You're smelly. You forgot to shower.
• 12:29
  You forgot your deodorant. Maybe you didn't shave in the right spaces. I do not know.
• 12:33
  But there are things that maybe, just maybe, that you could have done that you didn't do.
• 12:40
  So maybe you're moody that day. Maybe they know, man, this guy's a yeller,
• 12:44
  man, this girl is sloppy. They know everything about you.
• 12:47
  And then you go to work looking good, smelling good, talking good,
• 12:52
  because, you know, you're not going to let them see what a raggedy mess you
• 12:55
  are, and you're not going to let them see how hot-tempered you are.
• 12:57
  So, of course, they're like, oh, you're just the greatest in the world.

  Yeah, because they don't know what you're really like at home.
• 13:04
  So stop pretending, and don't be flirting with people, and watch yourself,
• 13:08
  because you don't want your life to be ruined. And more Christians need to think this through.

  If you are married, you've got young children, you go chase after some idiot
• 13:16
  guy, and your husband finds out you're going to get a divorce,
• 13:19
  shred your family, and it's heartbreaking. Don't do that.

  But right now, we've got preachers that are doing those things,
• 13:24
  or leaders and stuff. And I'm going to get to that at the end.

  You know, I'm not, look, I'm not a guru for preachers and stuff,
• 13:30
  but I do have some ideas that I think would work. All right.

  You can't take fire in your own bosom. Don't follow the path of the wicked.

  You have to abstain from all appearances of evil. Do you know what that means?

  It means don't go be alone.

  Do you know that the great Billy Graham—oh, I love me some Billy Graham. Yes, I do.

  Billy Graham, one of the greatest preachers of all time, do you know that that
• 13:50
  man would not even be alone in a car with any woman?

  Like, he wouldn't even let her in the car if there was some woman that wasn't
• 13:58
  with her husband. She couldn't come in the car with him. I mean, that's cool.

  Do you know that one time, I don't know if it's a history story,

  but one time Billy Graham was in a hotel and he had somebody else to walk in
• 14:06
  the hotel because he'd learn, you know, that people are weird.

  And sure enough, a chick was naked and a reporter was right there and took a picture.

  Well, he got a picture with Billy's assistant, not him, because Billy Graham
• 14:14
  didn't even come in. Come on, the devil's crazy.

  All right, here are some steps to protect yourself. Then we're going to talk
• 14:21
  about leaders real quick at the end.

  Do not secretly DM people that are of the opposite sex. Okay, don't do that.

  Don't have hidden lunches. Don't have private emotional attachments.

  Don't isolate yourself with someone to the opposite sex. Don't have secrets from your spouse.

  Come on, if you've been liking this dude too much, don't hide that from your husband.

  Tell your husband, I'm hurting. I'm broken. I need some help.

  Whatever. Don't hide stuff.
• 14:46
  Don't manipulate people spiritually. I saw God. Do you know twice now? Two times.

  So if there's someone watching me, listen carefully. Two times now in two different
• 14:55
  stories, I have heard of so-called men of God that told these young ladies,

  God told me my wife is going to die, and when she does, you're going to be my
• 15:03
  wife. Okay, you're a devil from hell.

  God doesn't do stuff like that. Do you understand that?

  Messing up my brows today. God doesn't, he doesn't do stuff like that.

  All right. That's not, God doesn't do anything even remotely like that.

  That's a spirit of murder. And you're in trouble, like big trouble,
• 15:21
  big, huge trouble, humongle trouble.

  If you say that you're crazy as a loon and you're in big trouble. God doesn't do that.

  So don't have hidden lunches. Don't have private emotional attachments. No isolation.

  Don't do any harmless flirting. Okay, there's no such thing as harmless flirting.

  Don't freaking flirt. You're not supposed to be flirting. You're married. Don't do that.

  Just stop. Stop it. Don't do that. Not good.

  Don't delete messages. Oh, my husband. Don't do that. You're messed up.

  In all things, we are to be manifested by the light.

  Purity is not weakness. It's strength under control. You have to guard your

  life, Guard your covenant. Guard your calling.

  Look, the devil wants nothing more than to destroy your life through infidelity. Come on.

  She's not worth it. That girl's not worth it. That man's not worth it.

  You need to walk upright. Let me just say this lastly for leaders.

  There are some leaders, I don't get it, but they've done something.
• 16:22
  They've cheated on their spouse.

  And I'm talking about continually, not just, oh, you know, you made some kind of mistake or whatever.

  Like, I mean, you're just in it. You're in it and you don't stop.
• 16:31
  Okay. When you get caught, because you're going to get caught,
• 16:35
  try this on. Be like the prodigal. I have sinned against you, Father. I'm sorry.

  I don't know why people aren't like that. You know, what happens is recently
• 16:43
  I saw a leader, I guess he had had an affair on his wife or something.
• 16:47
  And so obviously, well, mostly they hid it. He confessed when no one was watching,
• 16:51
  so they're trying to hide it. That just never worked because everyone's going to find out.
• 16:55
  So then some of the family members, when people are like, you know,
• 16:59
  he's a wolf in sheep's clothing, whatever, they're like, you're so judgmental.

  You're so self-righteous.
• 17:03
  No, that—see, part of the penalty is if you slip like that, it's not like God won't forgive you.

  He'll totally forgive you, but people don't forget, and it kind of sucks.

  And so, you know, instead of telling people, well, they shouldn't be so judgmental,
• 17:19
  how about you just say, I'm sorry?
• 17:21
  You know, if you have really failed the body of Christ, just say, I'm sorry.
• 17:25
  I have failed the body of Christ. I've failed the ministry. I've failed my family.
• 17:30
  Forgive me. And that, my friend, is the key to anything wicked that the devil tries to do.

  The devil hates to be exposed. Now, he likes it if he's the one doing the exposing.
• 17:41
  But he hates it if you truly say, I'm sorry. I repent.
• 17:45
  Please forgive me. I should have never done that.

  And if you'll do that, I'm telling you that God will turn your life around.

  There should not be any lust and demonic things in the pulpit and weirdness
• 18:00
  with leaders and stuff like that.

  God's mighty hand of favor and protection should be on you everywhere you go.
