Evening — August 1 — James 5:11
See how blessed we consider those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen the outcome from the Lord. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. — James 5:11
God’s compassion is not a passive sentiment but a constant, active intervention in the lives of His children. This enduring mercy serves as the foundation for our endurance, ensuring we are never left to face our trials alone. His pity runs deeper than any earthly father’s, and His care stirs us like an eagle rousing her young.
