  You

• 2:18
  Well
• 2:18
  my
• 2:19
  friend,
• 2:19
  thank

  you
• 2:19
  for
• 2:19

• 2:22
  table,
• 2:22
  around
• 2:23
  a
• 2:23
  cup
• 2:23
  of
• 2:23

• 2:24
  or
• 2:25
  just
• 2:25
  in
• 2:25
  a
• 2:25
  just

  a
• 2:26
  moment
• 2:26
  of
• 2:26
  conversation
• 2:27
  about

• 2:28
  Our
• 2:28
  reading
• 2:28
  today
• 2:29
  is
• 2:29
  from
• 2:30
  James
• 2:30
  3,
• 2:31
  13:18
• 2:31
  and
• 2:31
  the
• 2:32
  message
• 2:32
  and
• 2:32
  James
• 2:33
  asked
• 2:34
  do
• 2:34
  you
• 2:34
  want
• 2:34
  to
• 2:34
  be
• 2:34
  wise?
• 2:36
  Then
• 2:36
  live
• 2:36
  it
• 2:37
  humbly,
• 2:37
  gently,
• 2:38
  mercifully.
• 2:39
  Wisdom
• 2:40
  isn't
• 2:40
  a
• 2:40
  mic
• 2:41
  drop
• 2:41
  moment.
• 2:41
  It's
• 2:42
  a
• 2:42
  way
• 2:42
  of
• 2:42
  life
• 2:43
  that
• 2:43
  builds
• 2:44
  peace.
• 2:45
  So
• 2:46
  let's
• 2:46
  get
• 2:46
  into
• 2:46
  some
• 2:47
  points
• 2:47
  to
• 2:48
  ponder
• 2:48
  here
• 2:49
  from
• 2:49
  a
• 2:49
  progressive
• 2:50
  point
• 2:50
  of
• 2:50
  view.
• 2:51
  The
• 2:52
  first

  is
• 2:53
  Wisdom
• 2:53
  is

  justice,
• 2:55
  not

• 2:57
  It's

  the

  you

  hot

• 3:11
  Progressive
• 3:11
  faith
• 3:12
  pushes
• 3:13
  wisdom
• 3:14
  from
• 3:14
  abstraction
• 3:15
  to
• 3:15
  action,
• 3:17
  standing

  the

  marginalized,

  that

  the

  least.
• 3:23
  If
• 3:23
  our
• 3:24
  theology
• 3:24
  sounds
• 3:25
  wise
• 3:25
  but
• 3:25
  leaves
• 3:26
  our
• 3:26
  neighbors
• 3:26
  hungry,
• 3:27
  unheard
• 3:28
  or
• 3:28
  unsafe,
• 3:29
  James
• 3:30
  would
• 3:30
  say
• 3:30
  that's
• 3:31
  not
• 3:31
  wisdom,
• 3:31
  it's
• 3:31
  spin.
• 3:33
  Lived
• 3:34
  wisdom
• 3:34
  looks

  racist
• 3:40
  practices
• 3:42
  and
• 3:42
  everyday
• 3:43
  kindness.
• 3:44
  A
• 3:45
  second
• 3:45
  point
• 3:45
  to
• 3:45
  ponder
• 3:47
  Ambition
• 3:47
  without
• 3:48
  mercy
• 3:49
  fractures
• 3:50
  community.
• 3:51
  James
• 3:52
  warns
• 3:52
  against
• 3:53
  mean
• 3:53
  spirited
• 3:54
  ambition
• 3:55
  and
• 3:55
  truth
• 3:56

• 3:57
  When
• 3:58
  the
• 3:58
  goal
• 3:58
  is
• 3:58
  to
• 3:58
  win,
• 3:58
  not
• 3:59
  to

• 3:59
  everyone

• 4:02
  I
• 4:02
  see
• 4:02
  this
• 4:03
  in
• 4:03
  sports
• 4:03
  cultures
• 4:04
  at
• 4:04
  some

• 4:06
  really
• 4:06
  nasty

  about

• 4:07
  And
• 4:07
  I
• 4:08
  love
• 4:08
  sports,
• 4:08
  believe
• 4:09
  me.
• 4:09
  But
• 4:10
  some
• 4:10
  people
• 4:10
  get
• 4:10
  really
• 4:10
  nasty.
• 4:11
  You

  it

  even

  and
• 4:13
  other

  that.
• 4:14
  Certainly
• 4:14
  happens

  in

  politics.
• 4:17
  Progressive
