- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, it's time for Stacks and Hacks. I use stacks
- 0:02Speaker 1: of information and Rich has life hacks. We start off
- 0:05Speaker 1: Stacks with this. Kyle, Peyton, and Rich, do you guys
- 0:09Speaker 1: think you could fake your own death and get away
- 0:11Speaker 1: with it?
- 0:11Speaker 2: One at a time.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Kyle. No. Peyton. No.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Rich.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Totally. Totally.
- 0:18Speaker 2: I totally agree. I don't have enough money for that.
- 0:21Speaker 4: I feel like it would be, though, because if you
- 0:24Speaker 4: fake your death, you have to have a plan.
- 0:26Speaker 2: You have to be able to get away out of here.
- 0:27Speaker 4: You have to go find a home where no one's
- 0:29Speaker 4: going to go find you. You got to go move
- 0:30Speaker 4: to some private island.
- 0:32Speaker 2: I ain't got that.
- 0:32Speaker 4: I just feel like I couldn't cut everybody off. I'd
- 0:36Speaker 4: be like, okay, but wait. I'm going to fake my death,
- 0:39Speaker 4: but then I also need you and you and you.
- 0:42Speaker 4: There's too many people I would have to dig for that.
- 0:45Speaker 2: 55% of people say they definitely could not. They could
- 0:48Speaker 2: not fake their death. I'm telling you, Rick Barron living
- 0:51Speaker 2: in Costa Rica at a trailer park, no problem.
- 0:53Speaker 1: There's a new service that uses AI and a database
- 0:56Speaker 1: of public records to help daters dig up dirt on
- 0:59Speaker 1: their potential matchers.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Ooh, I like it. Yes, please.
- 1:03Speaker 1: It's a service called Stud or Dud. It uses data
- 1:07Speaker 1: from people finders, and it can tell you if the
- 1:09Speaker 1: guy's a black job.
- 1:10Speaker 3: That actually sounds like that could be a good game
- 1:12Speaker 3: show or a good dating show.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I would watch that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Woman's going viral on social media for ripping the soul
- 1:18Speaker 1: called Clopin shifts.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Have you heard of Clopin? What's that?
- 1:21Speaker 3: Uh-uh.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Shifts where you work until close, and then you stay
- 1:25Speaker 1: to set up for the next day, and then you're
- 1:26Speaker 1: expected to be at work early the next day to
- 1:27Speaker 1: open the place.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I've heard of that. That's cold-blooded, man.
- 1:32Speaker 1: California woman is in custody after prosecutors say she used
- 1:35Speaker 1: her company card to make unauthorized purchases.
- 1:38Speaker 2: I can see how you'd be going, well, I'm going
- 1:40Speaker 2: to buy this, I'm going to buy that. But apparently
- 1:42Speaker 2: it was $ 4 million.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Oh, can't get away with that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. What were they thinking?
- 1:48Speaker 4: And how did that not get flagged after $ 1 million?
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a ice cream shop in Connecticut called Kelly's
- 1:54Speaker 1: Cone Connection. And they've come up with different, I think
- 1:57Speaker 1: they're trying to rip off salt and straw. You know
- 1:59Speaker 1: how salt and straw's got like jalapenos or whatever?
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yeah, basil or something.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but they came up with some flavors like pizza.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's called, yeah, it's a, I think it's a slice
- 2:09Speaker 1: is on a waffle cone with strawberry basil ice cream
- 2:11Speaker 1: topped with strawberry sundae sauce grated with white chocolate parmesan.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh, that sounds good. Interesting.
- 2:17Speaker 4: Yeah, where salt and salt would actually put the pizza
- 2:20Speaker 4: in the ice cream.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 1: In the past, they've done ice cream tacos, ice cream cheeseburgers,
- 2:23Speaker 1: ice cream clam chowder, and ice cream.
- 2:25Speaker 2: lobster rolls.
- 2:28Speaker 1: A landlord in milwaukee was cleaning out an empty apartment
- 2:31Speaker 1: and he made an incredible discovery he found an original
- 2:34Speaker 1: pablo picasso etching that was stolen from a gallery in
- 2:38Speaker 1: 2018 oh that's cool oh yeah the landlord turned it
- 2:41Speaker 1: over to the police the gallery owner later confirmed it
- 2:43Speaker 1: was the real deal The artwork had been valued between.
- 2:47Speaker 2: $ 35, 000 and $ 50, 000 when it disappeared.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Oh my God. So did they give him like a found?
- 2:52Speaker 4: Don't they do that where they give you a reward
- 2:54Speaker 4: if you find missing art or whatever?
- 2:55Speaker 2: Sometimes.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I hope he got paid. I wonder where the guy went.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Did he get killed? How come he left that there?
- 3:01Speaker 2: He went through all the trouble of stealing it. All
- 3:02Speaker 2: the trouble of stealing it and then you leave.
- 3:04Speaker 3: Oops.
- 3:06Speaker 1: A restaurant in New Jersey apologized after a disabled woman
- 3:09Speaker 1: was given a birthday dessert with the words, happy wheelchair
- 3:13Speaker 1: birthday on the cake.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Happy wheelchair.
- 3:16Speaker 3: What?
- 3:16Speaker 4: Who made that mistake?
- 3:19Speaker 2: That's a lot of writing.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that just sounds like being mean for no reason.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Speaking of food and dessert, Shake Shack is selling a
- 3:26Speaker 1: Reese's Peanut Butter Cup milkshake that contains 1,900 calories.
- 3:29Speaker 3: Yum. Whoa.
- 3:29Speaker 2: That sounds delicious.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I would do it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's amazing. I would do it. Yeah, Rich,
- 3:34Speaker 2: what do you got for life hacks? Well, this is
- 3:37Speaker 2: really wild.
- 3:38Speaker 3: Did you know that there's a leftover that is actually
- 3:41Speaker 3: better for you when it's leftover than when it's fresh?
- 3:44Speaker 2: Do you have a guess of what that might be?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Are you saying better tasting or better healthy? Better healthy. Oh, wow.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Because better tasting, a lot of food. Well, sure, like
- 3:51Speaker 2: pizza the next day.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Lasagna.
- 3:52Speaker 2: What is better for you? This is a good riddle. Potatoes.
- 3:55Speaker 2: What is better for you the next day? Kyle, you
- 3:58Speaker 2: were actually kind of on the right track there.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:00Speaker 2: It's rice. Rice. So check this out.
- 4:03Speaker 3: When you cook rice and then you have it cool
- 4:07Speaker 3: in the fridge, some of its starch changes into what's
- 4:10Speaker 3: called resistant starch, which actually your body digests more slowly,
- 4:15Speaker 3: a little more like fiber. So that means properly chilled
- 4:18Speaker 3: rice and then you reheat it. It actually causes fewer
- 4:23Speaker 3: sugar spikes in your blood. So it's actually better for
- 4:26Speaker 3: you the next day reheated or steamed. Your leftovers just
- 4:30Speaker 3: got an upgrade right there. Leftover rice, better for you
- 4:33Speaker 3: than when it's fresh.
- 4:34Speaker 4: I like how you said properly because apparently like rice
- 4:37Speaker 4: can get mold really quickly overnight. So you have to
- 4:40Speaker 4: be careful about how you do store it.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Keep it in the fridge, of course. Don't leave it overnight.
- 4:44Speaker 3: But keep it in the fridge, then reheat it, make
- 4:45Speaker 3: it hot. It is better for you. That life hack
- 4:47Speaker 3: and many more can be found at johnjanbridge.com.
