Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #302: Stop Outsourcing Your Power
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hi, everybody, welcome to teach time with Amy and bab
- 0:05Speaker 1: give we are.
- 0:08Speaker 2: How's it going good? Good? Not going on?
- 0:15Speaker 1: That's always I gotta change that narrative. Yeah, I gotta
- 0:20Speaker 1: change that story. I enjoy everything I do, but I'm
- 0:30Speaker 1: very blessed with all the things that I get to do.
- 0:33Speaker 2: How's that?
- 0:34Speaker 1: And those blessings are flowing in abundantly. How's that without saying,
- 0:41Speaker 1: without using the word overwhelm.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well in a creative space too, we know what
- 0:47Speaker 2: you what you already have going on. So the opposite
- 0:49Speaker 2: of that would be I have plenty of time and
- 0:52Speaker 2: money to take care of myself, and I do. I
- 0:55Speaker 2: have plenty of rest. I always feel like I'm recharged.
- 0:58Speaker 2: So it's just an opportunity for us to go to
- 1:01Speaker 2: a different direction, which is what I'm hearing right now,
- 1:04Speaker 2: which is good for me. As we were saying in
- 1:07Speaker 2: the last video, whatever we were saying is for us
- 1:09Speaker 2: as well. And it's like, I'm recognizing what I'm saying
- 1:13Speaker 2: to you, and it holds a lot of value for
- 1:16Speaker 2: myself to do the same thing. It's to be in
- 1:19Speaker 2: that same place because we can get so wrapped up
- 1:22Speaker 2: in what's in front of us or what we feel
- 1:24Speaker 2: like is happening, and then we all obviously we're learning
- 1:28Speaker 2: to want to create the opposite of that. So here
- 1:32Speaker 2: we are, here.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We are.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Doing it. Yeah, it just takes practice.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Every day, every moment. Everything's a practice. Like just taking
- 1:53Speaker 1: a breath is a practice. Learning take a breath right,
- 1:59Speaker 1: Learning to notice the tension and tightness in your body
- 2:06Speaker 1: as you're moving through your day and just allowing yourself
- 2:08Speaker 1: to take a breath and just let it all.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Settle.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And then what's the next move?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Is it the phone call?
- 2:18Speaker 1: Is it the document, is it the you know, the
- 2:22Speaker 1: errand And.
- 2:26Speaker 2: As soon as you said take a breath, I took
- 2:28Speaker 2: that breath and I slowed down. It's like everything felt different.
- 2:31Speaker 2: I've been feeling since before we got on today and
- 2:35Speaker 2: this is our second one, but I've been feeling like
- 2:37Speaker 2: the sensation is like a buzzing in this area. I
- 2:39Speaker 2: don't know what's going on, but it's been buzzing. I've
- 2:42Speaker 2: not had this experience before, so it's been buzzing since
- 2:45Speaker 2: I think I was getting ready to start our videos.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Before I was getting ready to start, so it's just
- 2:51Speaker 2: finding this interesting. But I would not have noticed it
- 2:54Speaker 2: I've noticed it here and there, but when I took
- 2:56Speaker 2: the breath, I really noticed it just a second ago,
- 3:00Speaker 2: just sitting here. And then when you say, take that breath.
- 3:02Speaker 2: As soon as I took the breath and you said,
- 3:04Speaker 2: notice where you're feeling whatever you said in your body,
- 3:08Speaker 2: I felt tension in my solar plexus, like holding, and
- 3:12Speaker 2: so these things we wouldn't recognize because it's so easy
- 3:15Speaker 2: for us to keep ourselves busy and keep moving forward
- 3:17Speaker 2: and not paying attention to these things. But just slowing down.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I took one breath, just one breath. It wasn't more
- 3:24Speaker 2: than a breath. It was just one breath, and I
- 3:26Speaker 2: noticed all that. Yeah, so oh.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Thank you got like ten seconds.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah.
- 3:35Speaker 1: People think, oh, okay, I don't have time to sit
- 3:37Speaker 1: and breathe. Well you kind of breathe them all day.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What's the difference if you just take a deep breath?
- 3:45Speaker 2: Yeah? Does it puts you in the now?
- 3:47Speaker 1: Right?
- 3:47Speaker 2: It brings you right into that awareness because now you're folks,
- 3:50Speaker 2: you like, stop everything else, wait, I have to get breath.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I've got you. And then you take that breath and
- 3:54Speaker 2: you just take the time to notice everything that's going
- 3:56Speaker 2: on in the body. You're in awareness right now, you're
- 3:59Speaker 2: right now, and it is exactly where you need it
- 4:02Speaker 2: to be. And we only pull ourselves and go back
- 4:04Speaker 2: out to the old patterns because we until we're aware
- 4:08Speaker 2: of them, don't recognize that they're happening. And then when
- 4:10Speaker 2: we become aware of them, we recognize how much power
- 4:13Speaker 2: that we do have because we can now change where
- 4:16Speaker 2: we're putting our attention and put it back on their breath.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yeah, and I've had conversations with many people who you know,
- 4:28Speaker 1: have been students, are just casual conversations of telling them
- 4:32Speaker 1: talking about deep breathing and all that. Oh, well, I
- 4:36Speaker 1: can't just sit and deep. I can't just sit and
- 4:38Speaker 1: do that. And only because I know this, I will say, well,
- 4:48Speaker 1: why do you feel like you can't sit and breathe? Well,
- 4:53Speaker 1: because I'm supposed to be up doing something and being
- 4:55Speaker 1: busy in all the things. And so we have that conversation. Right, Well,
- 5:01Speaker 1: that's childhood programming. You know, your parents told you you
- 5:04Speaker 1: cannot just sit around. You have to be doing something,
- 5:07Speaker 1: be productive in whatever way, because there's always something to do.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And so I had this conversation with a person recently.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I said, right, well, what do you when you feel peace?
- 5:20Speaker 1: When do you feel calmness in your body? Well, when
- 5:22Speaker 1: I'm in nature? Okay, So if you go outside and
- 5:27Speaker 1: sit in nature, how is that different than sitting in
- 5:35Speaker 1: your house and breathing. What's the difference? Well, when I
- 5:43Speaker 1: set at home, I know there's things that I need
- 5:45Speaker 1: to be doing, and so I oh, so that's what
- 5:49Speaker 1: you're focused on, right, So you're focused on the things
- 5:51Speaker 1: that need to be done, and you're not and it's
- 5:53Speaker 1: not okay for you to be sitting in your house
- 5:56Speaker 1: and doing.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Some deep breathing.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Okay, Well, what's the difference between sitting for a few
- 6:05Speaker 1: moments and breathing knowing all this stuff has to be
- 6:10Speaker 1: done in your house or whatever needs to be done? Right,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you have all these things that are so important that
- 6:14Speaker 1: need to get done. What's the difference between sitting in
- 6:17Speaker 1: your house and breathing in the middle of the day.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I just need to sit here and breathe focus on
- 6:22Speaker 1: my breathing for two minutes, ten minutes, twenty minutes, an hour,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I don't care how long. What is the difference between
- 6:28Speaker 1: that and going to bed at night and going to
- 6:32Speaker 1: sleep knowing that all this stuff has to get done.
- 6:35Speaker 1: What's the difference, So it's it's a mind shift or
- 6:46Speaker 1: mind shit. It's the mind shit telling us that in
- 6:49Speaker 1: the middle of the day I can't just sit and
- 6:50Speaker 1: breathe because there's so much that needs to be done.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Whereas at the end of the night, there's still all
- 6:57Speaker 1: these things that have to be done, and you get
- 6:59Speaker 1: to go to bed and sleep and let.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Your body rest.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you take a moment during the day to
- 7:05Speaker 1: let your body rest, not necessarily go to sleep. They said,
- 7:09Speaker 1: ten minutes of meditation is equivalent to like an hour nap.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Ten minutes just sitting and breathing is equivalent to an
- 7:17Speaker 1: hour nap. And I will say if I take a
- 7:23Speaker 1: nap during the middle of the day, I'm usually worse
- 7:26Speaker 1: off after I come out of the nap, feeling lethargic
- 7:34Speaker 1: and like now I'm not even motivated to do anything.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But if I just focus and intentionally focus on breathing
- 7:43Speaker 1: for ten minutes, now I can get up and I
- 7:46Speaker 1: have that energy and.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Ready to go.
- 7:49Speaker 1: So just be aware if you think about my meditation
- 7:53Speaker 1: or just sitting for a few minutes to focus on
- 7:55Speaker 1: that deep breathing to bring some relaxation into your body
- 7:59Speaker 1: and then get up and do your stuff. How is
- 8:03Speaker 1: that different than going to bed at night?
- 8:08Speaker 2: You know, you said a lot of that stuff and
- 8:10Speaker 2: when you were using that as a scenario, because because
- 8:13Speaker 2: there's a lot I felt the same way a lot
- 8:15Speaker 2: of times, you know, just to sit inside the house
- 8:17Speaker 2: because it's like, what am I sitting here for? I
- 8:19Speaker 2: got there's things that need to be done. And then
- 8:22Speaker 2: it's like, well, if I go outside, I could be
- 8:24Speaker 2: more quiet, I could be more And then word that
- 8:27Speaker 2: came to me was safe. And I'm thinking, how do
- 8:30Speaker 2: you feel more safe outside of your home than in
- 8:33Speaker 2: your phone? Do you know what I mean? So that
- 8:35Speaker 2: that was a process. This is for myself and I
- 8:37Speaker 2: don't know if anyone else is feeling that way too,
- 8:39Speaker 2: but it's recognizing we were safe always in all environments,
- 8:42Speaker 2: but we have there's still patterns from that environment, like
- 8:46Speaker 2: you know, feeling. I knew that if I was inside
- 8:49Speaker 2: the house, if I was inside the house as a child,
- 8:52Speaker 2: you better being busy. If I'm doing you know, she's
- 8:54Speaker 2: doing something. If my mom is doing something, I better
- 8:57Speaker 2: be doing something. If we were out out of the way,
- 9:01Speaker 2: they didn't have to see us what we were doing.
- 9:03Speaker 2: They didn't care that we were screwing around putting worms
- 9:07Speaker 2: in somebody's mailbox or whatever you were doing as a kid.
- 9:09Speaker 2: You know, they didn't care about that stuff because it
- 9:12Speaker 2: wasn't right in their experience. And that's what we learned.
- 9:14Speaker 2: And then so for us it felt safer to be
- 9:16Speaker 2: For me, I felt safer for me to be outside.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Isn't that so crazy? I mean, I'm just having this
- 9:22Speaker 2: recognition during this conversation.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Well yeah, and I asked her. I said, okay, well,
- 9:30Speaker 1: what if there's snow outside and it's freezing and you
- 9:34Speaker 1: can't go out in nature and that's where you feel
- 9:36Speaker 1: comfortable to sit there and breathe. How is it different
- 9:40Speaker 1: than just staying inside where it's warm and sitting there
- 9:43Speaker 1: and breathing. Look out the window while you breathe so
- 9:46Speaker 1: you can see that. How is that any different. It's
- 9:51Speaker 1: our programming, it's our belief system. It's what our parents
- 9:54Speaker 1: told us. And then the funny and as you were talking,
- 9:57Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, that's interesting because a home you
- 10:00Speaker 1: grew up in where you learn that programming, most of
- 10:05Speaker 1: us don't even live in that home anymore. We may
- 10:09Speaker 1: have had multiple homes, but yet we still have that
- 10:12Speaker 1: same perspective, same programming, same belief system that if it's
- 10:18Speaker 1: during the day and I am awake, I should be busy.
- 10:21Speaker 1: I should be doing something, because it's not okay to.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Just sit yeah, recreating our childhood, recreating it over and
- 10:30Speaker 2: over and over again, keeping ourselves in this struggle space
- 10:33Speaker 2: that we didn't even know we were keeping ourselves in.
- 10:35Speaker 2: I didn't know if we didn't have this stricken conversation.
- 10:37Speaker 2: My mind's like really blown right now. It really is,
- 10:40Speaker 2: because I'm like, holy shit, Like when I walk around
- 10:43Speaker 2: the house today, it's going to feel different. I can
- 10:44Speaker 2: already feel like these things. But this has also been
- 10:47Speaker 2: my focus lately too, because I want to see the things.
- 10:50Speaker 2: What are the things that are that I'm how How
- 10:52Speaker 2: am I keeping myself from moving forward? There's things that
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm doing. I have patterns that I'm doing currently that
- 10:59Speaker 2: make me feel safe because they're familiar to me. They
- 11:03Speaker 2: aren't really making me feel safe. That's what makes it nonsensical.
- 11:06Speaker 2: So when I start looking at that, then I recognize
- 11:09Speaker 2: this doesn't make any sense. It doesn't make any sense,
- 11:13Speaker 2: And now how can I bring that safety inside? You
- 11:15Speaker 2: just said it one of the ways of just looking
- 11:17Speaker 2: out the window, find pictures in your house, get some artwork,
- 11:21Speaker 2: create your own artwork, put it on the fricking wall.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Take yourself out of that space until you can make
- 11:27Speaker 2: it that space be the safe space, just as it
- 11:32Speaker 2: is outside. Yeah, and so gosh, Now my mind's like,
- 11:36Speaker 2: what if us being ground It really never had to
- 11:38Speaker 2: do with being outside, but it was when we stepped outside,
- 11:41Speaker 2: we stepped out of a lot of the patterns from
- 11:43Speaker 2: inside the home that we grew up with. Man, my
- 11:46Speaker 2: mind is like, just today.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Good because if it's for you, it's for many.
- 11:54Speaker 2: It's true, it's just relieving ourselves. It's just something so
- 11:58Speaker 2: subtle that can be all the way to the back
- 12:01Speaker 2: to the whole lack, the lack of abundance, the lack
- 12:04Speaker 2: of money that you know how the prosperity, however we
- 12:07Speaker 2: want to refer to it. It's that lack feeling, and
- 12:10Speaker 2: that lack feeling is what shuts us off, pinches us
- 12:13Speaker 2: off from all the things that we know that we
- 12:15Speaker 2: can have, but we don't realize how we're keeping ourselves
- 12:18Speaker 2: from those things. And then this is a recognition for
- 12:21Speaker 2: myself in one of the ways how I'm keeping myself
- 12:24Speaker 2: from these things. And it was just because it was
- 12:28Speaker 2: a learned behavior, was a learned pattern. It's an old template.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Not wanting to continue my journey as the.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Child, well the child with the programming. You said, you
- 12:43Speaker 1: want you in our child, right in our child? Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 1: the divine child.
- 12:47Speaker 2: And to me that goes to another story too. I've
- 12:50Speaker 2: heard so much about talking about the divine, feminine and
- 12:52Speaker 2: divine masculine. Well, then a few weeks ago what it
- 12:55Speaker 2: led me to was the divine, the divine child. The
- 12:58Speaker 2: divine child is without all of the template and all
- 13:05Speaker 2: the stuff from the divines, the parents, or the divine feminine,
- 13:08Speaker 2: divine masculine. It was before that. And so that was
- 13:12Speaker 2: a recognition too that I've had in the last few weeks.
- 13:15Speaker 2: It's been a constant learning and it is We've referred
- 13:20Speaker 2: to school or Earth as Earth's school so many times
- 13:23Speaker 2: you come here to learn, and it's like it frickin is.
- 13:26Speaker 2: And the more that I'm an awareness of this, the
- 13:28Speaker 2: more that I recognize how many things are happening for me,
- 13:33Speaker 2: as we were even talking about in the last video,
- 13:36Speaker 2: how it's not happening to us and it's happening for
- 13:38Speaker 2: us perspectively, and it's like really sitting in that space
- 13:44Speaker 2: and seeing it for more of a neutral space so
- 13:46Speaker 2: that I don't feel like I'm taking on all of
- 13:49Speaker 2: the If it's a traumatic experience, you don't want to
- 13:52Speaker 2: be taking on that trauma, but seeing it from a
- 13:53Speaker 2: neutral space, from a third party perspective. Even to the
- 13:57Speaker 2: point where I refer to myself as Beverly, I'll talk,
- 13:59Speaker 2: I'll be like driving home and it's crazy when I
- 14:02Speaker 2: get into this space, and maybe that's another way, just
- 14:04Speaker 2: like I like to do channel writing and stuff. But
- 14:07Speaker 2: I'll sit and I'll be like, okay, Beverly, well this
- 14:09Speaker 2: is what you need to do. And it's like it
- 14:11Speaker 2: feels like something else is speaking through me and then
- 14:13Speaker 2: talking to me and patting me on the shoulder and
- 14:16Speaker 2: tell me I'm doing okay, and keep your focus on
- 14:18Speaker 2: this and be grounded or whatever needed to come forward
- 14:21Speaker 2: in that moment. But as soon as I refer to
- 14:24Speaker 2: myself by my first name, it switches the gears, it
- 14:27Speaker 2: switches where I'm receiving information and flowing with this, and
- 14:31Speaker 2: I'm like, well, well that's some good shit right there,
- 14:34Speaker 2: because it's not something I would have ever said or
- 14:36Speaker 2: even how I would have said it. So man, such
- 14:41Speaker 2: great conversations.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Yeah, and it was. It was so interesting when we
- 14:47Speaker 1: were having that conversation about the meditation. She actually she
- 14:52Speaker 1: actually asked me to teach her how to meditate. And
- 14:54Speaker 1: this is what brought on this a whole conversation. And
- 14:58Speaker 1: so I use the analogy of you know, what's the
- 15:02Speaker 1: difference between between sitting in your house and breathing or
- 15:06Speaker 1: going outside? Well, what if it's freezing cold outside, you
- 15:08Speaker 1: don't want to go outside, So now you got to
- 15:10Speaker 1: sit in your house and look out the window. And
- 15:13Speaker 1: it wasn't until the next day I asked her the
- 15:19Speaker 1: question about sleeping, So like, what's the difference? Right, So,
- 15:26Speaker 1: sometimes information like that comes a little later and drops
- 15:32Speaker 1: in and says, well, here's another perspective. And the way
- 15:38Speaker 1: we get those those those drop in that drop in
- 15:42Speaker 1: information is being present, being right here, right now. And
- 15:46Speaker 1: that's what breathing does. That's when we intentionally focus on
- 15:49Speaker 1: our breathing. That's no different than Beverly. Hey, Beverly, this
- 15:54Speaker 1: is what you could do. Well, now you have your
- 15:56Speaker 1: attention because something or somebody is speaking to you. Somebody
- 16:00Speaker 1: said your name, and when somebody says your name, you
- 16:02Speaker 1: automatically perk up like what you're in the present moment
- 16:06Speaker 1: because something or somebody got your attention, and you miss
- 16:12Speaker 1: those things when you're just ignoring it or too busy
- 16:17Speaker 1: or whatever that might be. So there's so much benefit
- 16:22Speaker 1: when you when you bring yourself right here right now
- 16:24Speaker 1: and bring and have those breathing moments that are so
- 16:31Speaker 1: beneficial for your body. Right But I love that too.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I've done that where I will use my name. Typically
- 16:41Speaker 1: when I do it, it's because I'm being a bitch
- 16:45Speaker 1: in some way or being angry in some way, having
- 16:48Speaker 1: some on some discord in my body, and I will
- 16:52Speaker 1: just go into the look in the mirror and go,
- 16:55Speaker 1: what the fuck's your problem? Amy, you know, and talk
- 16:57Speaker 1: to myself and be like, you're not liking you right now?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Why would anybody else like you right now? Why would
- 17:03Speaker 1: anybody want to be around you right now? Like I
- 17:06Speaker 1: give myself that what for conversation talking to and then
- 17:11Speaker 1: then I'll you know, smile and change my.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Energy and just.
- 17:19Speaker 1: And now because of my training and stuff. Now it's like,
- 17:22Speaker 1: what are you learning from this experience? And I might
- 17:24Speaker 1: be a little gruff with myself in the beginning, but
- 17:27Speaker 1: then it's like, Okay, yeah, this is what I'm learning,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and then I go through my whole process. But I've
- 17:34Speaker 1: done that too in a different way, and there are
- 17:38Speaker 1: different ways to do things. So just keep in mind
- 17:41Speaker 1: Bev has discovered this way. I have been using this
- 17:44Speaker 1: other way mainly when I'm in some kind of a
- 17:48Speaker 1: discomfort of my mindset, my emotional state, whatever that might be.
- 17:54Speaker 1: So you find tools. You just keep learning, and you
- 17:57Speaker 1: find the tools that are that resonate with you, that
- 18:00Speaker 1: feel good to you, to you lies and I have
- 18:04Speaker 1: a tool I have a toolbox, toy box full of
- 18:08Speaker 1: different techniques, and so it's not always the same technique today.
- 18:14Speaker 1: It might be that sitting deep breathe Tomorrow, it might
- 18:16Speaker 1: be going out for a walk the next day. It
- 18:18Speaker 1: might be tapping the next day. It might be having
- 18:21Speaker 1: to talk to myself in the mirror. It's whatever whatever
- 18:26Speaker 1: feels good in the moment that you know is going
- 18:28Speaker 1: to help you move through whatever it is you're moving
- 18:33Speaker 1: through or experience. Oh, I need to relax my body.
- 18:38Speaker 1: What can I do to do that?
- 18:42Speaker 2: And it even brought me to you when you said
- 18:44Speaker 2: sometimes you speak to yourself a little gruff. Well, it
- 18:47Speaker 2: might sound a little gruff, but that's just where the
- 18:49Speaker 2: energy that you're coming from at that moment. It's if
- 18:53Speaker 2: I find it fascinating when we pay attention, when we
- 18:56Speaker 2: fine tune all this stuff, because there's so many things,
- 18:58Speaker 2: there's so many facets to be aware of, and it's
- 19:01Speaker 2: not from and it's before I think I've heard you,
- 19:04Speaker 2: I think you might have referred to it as micromanaging
- 19:07Speaker 2: how we're coming out into the world, And to me
- 19:10Speaker 2: that was almost off putting, not because of that, but
- 19:14Speaker 2: because of how they've used it in that terminology. And
- 19:17Speaker 2: then I realize it really is, but it's not. It's
- 19:20Speaker 2: if you think about it, micromanaging is not. It's not
- 19:24Speaker 2: a bad thing or a good thing. If you're coming
- 19:26Speaker 2: at it from a neutral perspective. It's it's just an
- 19:29Speaker 2: awareness thing. It's just being aware of all these components,
- 19:32Speaker 2: noticing how you do things, and then why you say
- 19:35Speaker 2: things the way you say things, or or why you
- 19:37Speaker 2: have a reaction when something happens, or why you want,
- 19:40Speaker 2: all of a sudden want to get up and dance
- 19:41Speaker 2: because there's music going on and it's like ooh, am
- 19:44Speaker 2: I stifling myself right now, or am I going to
- 19:45Speaker 2: allow myself to have this opportunity. There's so many things
- 19:49Speaker 2: that we miss or can miss by keeping ourselves distracted
- 19:53Speaker 2: with everything that's going on around us. Yeah, I think
- 19:56Speaker 2: you mentioned in the last video too, You've mentioned something
- 19:58Speaker 2: about the dogs. You know, we don't have control over things,
- 20:02Speaker 2: and it's like I've learned recently. If I have one
- 20:05Speaker 2: of my boys likes to growl at everybody, there's another
- 20:10Speaker 2: dog that does it because he's got his ball and
- 20:12Speaker 2: he's like, let me know, I want to play, But
- 20:15Speaker 2: you don't know how to read him for sure, because
- 20:17Speaker 2: he is still growling and growling. He's a warning. And
- 20:19Speaker 2: then my other, my little dog will the little one
- 20:22Speaker 2: will have some conversation, but this one's growling all the time.
- 20:25Speaker 2: And it's like I was squirt bottles every time you
- 20:28Speaker 2: would do something, trying to control it, right, getting frustrated,
- 20:32Speaker 2: feeling like we're not all on the same plate or
- 20:36Speaker 2: same page as far as how we're you know, trying
- 20:40Speaker 2: to raise the animals that are around us and stuff
- 20:42Speaker 2: like that, and then recognizing I just needed to let go.
- 20:46Speaker 2: That's my let go story because as soon as I
- 20:48Speaker 2: let go. Almost all the growling has stopped. It's still there,
- 20:53Speaker 2: but it's like I don't. I just don't. I don't
- 20:58Speaker 2: participate in it. I don't. I became neutral on it.
- 21:01Speaker 2: And so as soon as we've become neutral on anything,
- 21:05Speaker 2: it eventually is just going to disappear because there's nothing
- 21:07Speaker 2: more to learn from it. You're neutral on it, there's
- 21:09Speaker 2: absolutely nothing more until something else comes up. It's just
- 21:13Speaker 2: kind of a crazy And that's.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Their way of communicating. Yes, not our way communicating with that,
- 21:23Speaker 1: it's their way communicating with each other. This is a boundary,
- 21:27Speaker 1: and if you come too close to my boundary, I'm
- 21:29Speaker 1: gonna growl at you exactly back to fuck up, right exactly.
- 21:34Speaker 2: But it's true, that's one hundred percent true. I was
- 21:37Speaker 2: taking that part of it personal or not even well,
- 21:40Speaker 2: probably taking it personal because that's what I just said,
- 21:42Speaker 2: but also trying to control, and it was it was
- 21:44Speaker 2: an uncontrollable situation. It wasn't for me to control. It
- 21:47Speaker 2: was for me to let go, for me to surrender.
- 21:49Speaker 2: It was another way, like we've spoke about how things
- 21:52Speaker 2: are showing up around us, they can be for you
- 21:55Speaker 2: or not for you. But in those instances. That is
- 21:58Speaker 2: all for me letting me know that I'm trying to control.
- 22:01Speaker 2: I'm still trying to control things, even though I think
- 22:03Speaker 2: I'm totally letting you, letting go control, I'm totally surrendering.
- 22:07Speaker 2: But obviously I'm still trying to control that. Oh that
- 22:10Speaker 2: has happened. I'm going to try to control it. And
- 22:12Speaker 2: it doesn't work. It doesn't work. And the best thing
- 22:15Speaker 2: that I could do was to let go. And as
- 22:17Speaker 2: soon as I let go, everything changed. Yeah.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's so freeing.
- 22:26Speaker 2: It is. And it's like, wait a minute, I don't
- 22:28Speaker 2: have to do that to myself anymore. Wow, that's crazy.
- 22:33Speaker 2: There's a thought, what, no way that's possible. It's so easy,
- 22:42Speaker 2: so silly, it's so easy, it is silly.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well we got to learn.
- 22:50Speaker 2: We have to learn. Yeah, great.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And the good thing and the suck thing at all
- 23:00Speaker 1: at the same time is we get to decide how
- 23:02Speaker 1: long that lesson is going to last.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Mine lasted a long time. Mine lasted into my you know,
- 23:10Speaker 1: early fifties. So and now it's getting easier and easier
- 23:14Speaker 1: and easier.
- 23:15Speaker 2: So same, same, And that's the whole other thing too.
- 23:23Speaker 2: These conversations you had mentioned before too, how we've come
- 23:26Speaker 2: together and we don't talk to each other at all
- 23:28Speaker 2: during the time frames, but these are our conversations. The
- 23:31Speaker 2: conversations we are having, we would be having. We're just
- 23:34Speaker 2: recording the conversations now and we're sharing it with other
- 23:36Speaker 2: people to give them the opportunity for their own growth
- 23:40Speaker 2: and for their own change and perspectives and to even
- 23:43Speaker 2: have different ideas than what we're saying, and to find
- 23:46Speaker 2: things that do work for you or don't work for you.
- 23:48Speaker 2: But it's like all the informations out there is just
- 23:51Speaker 2: all this template, and you're creating your own reality from
- 23:55Speaker 2: the little things that you like or or sometimes you're
- 23:59Speaker 2: doing it from the things that you don't like. The
- 24:01Speaker 2: way you're still creating it. So now now that we're
- 24:04Speaker 2: becoming more now and more aware that we're in the
- 24:07Speaker 2: now or not in the now by how we feel,
- 24:09Speaker 2: we start creating more intentionally, and that's what we're doing.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Yep. And we know Bev and I know that by
- 24:20Speaker 1: us showing up and doing these recordings, this is giving
- 24:23Speaker 1: us us this time to have the conversations that are
- 24:27Speaker 1: actually helping us.
- 24:29Speaker 2: So it would be like, all.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Right, well, I'll talk to you on the phone in
- 24:35Speaker 1: a couple of weeks or something's going on. There are
- 24:41Speaker 1: times it's not very often, actually, but there are times
- 24:45Speaker 1: when her and I will reach out to each other
- 24:47Speaker 1: where we need a sounding board, we need somebody else's perspective,
- 24:51Speaker 1: and we know we can lean on each other. I
- 24:56Speaker 1: strongly believe that because we have these conversations at least
- 25:00Speaker 1: every two weeks, about every two weeks we do two
- 25:02Speaker 1: or three recordings and we have conversations like this, I
- 25:06Speaker 1: strongly feel like that has helped us so much in
- 25:11Speaker 1: connecting in this way, knowing that our conversations are helping
- 25:15Speaker 1: other people that I've said it before, it's like our
- 25:19Speaker 1: own therapy sessions, all right, I've seen in a couple
- 25:22Speaker 1: of weeks we'll have our next session and be sure
- 25:25Speaker 1: to record.
- 25:26Speaker 3: It, right, Yeah, Whereas in years past it's feeling like
- 25:33Speaker 3: we're bumping around trying to figure out life, you know,
- 25:36Speaker 3: not really knowing.
- 25:37Speaker 1: How to ask for help and get guidance. And so yeah,
- 25:42Speaker 1: it's seriously like a regular therapy session for us. And
- 25:48Speaker 1: whether anybody else gets anything else from these videos, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: know it's working for us. So we do.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Honestly, and it's not a selfish thing. It's it's just
- 26:00Speaker 2: it's just a sharing thing. That's really what it boils
- 26:04Speaker 2: down to. It's it's being around like minded people, honestly.
- 26:08Speaker 2: And because as you were talking, there was a store
- 26:10Speaker 2: that I had gone to recently, actually the past Sunday,
- 26:14Speaker 2: and I went in there that morning and I had
- 26:17Speaker 2: been in the store a couple of days before that
- 26:19Speaker 2: and had a conversation with a mom and a daughter
- 26:22Speaker 2: and was talking about They were saying something about oh,
- 26:25Speaker 2: like oh men or something like that. I'm like, oh,
- 26:27Speaker 2: but there's such a there's so much beauty. But it's
- 26:28Speaker 2: happening in the world right now. We've got this divine
- 26:30Speaker 2: masculine and divine feminine. And I said, when you find
- 26:34Speaker 2: the men, the men, the divine masculine men that are around,
- 26:39Speaker 2: they're they're nothing but blessings for you. And I was
- 26:42Speaker 2: and I'm like talking to you about all this stuff.
- 26:44Speaker 2: And then I walked out the door and I'm like, man,
- 26:46Speaker 2: sometimes I feel like I give too much information. Well,
- 26:49Speaker 2: then I came back in the store. This is the
- 26:51Speaker 2: last Sunday. I come back in the store, and she's like,
- 26:53Speaker 2: I just had such a great conversation with you, and
- 26:55Speaker 2: and the interaction was so wonderful in there. She said,
- 26:58Speaker 2: I set my attention before I came in to work
- 27:00Speaker 2: today that this is this was going to be a
- 27:02Speaker 2: great day, and this was going to be a flow
- 27:04Speaker 2: and all those other things, and I'm only going to
- 27:07Speaker 2: have great people that are going to come see me today.
- 27:09Speaker 2: And it's like we had that conversation and another person
- 27:12Speaker 2: came in during the conversation that added to it, and
- 27:15Speaker 2: that's when I recognize and even during this conversation, that's
- 27:18Speaker 2: when I recognize it is so very valuable for us
- 27:21Speaker 2: to be around like minded people. It is high vibing.
- 27:26Speaker 2: And because that's where I was at, that's where my
- 27:28Speaker 2: frequency was at at that time too. I ended up
- 27:31Speaker 2: not going working out, which is why one of the
- 27:33Speaker 2: reasons I went to town. But it's like then I
- 27:36Speaker 2: realized it was never that was part of the reason
- 27:39Speaker 2: I was going to town. I was always to go
- 27:40Speaker 2: to that store, and so I go all the time,
- 27:43Speaker 2: and I recognize, just recognize how I feel, and it's
- 27:47Speaker 2: how how we feel when we're around people that feel
- 27:50Speaker 2: good to us, and it's paying attention to that. That's
- 27:53Speaker 2: part of following our passions as well. And I'm saying
- 27:56Speaker 2: that because I'm learning about following my passions, and even
- 27:59Speaker 2: though there's things we don't like that are happening in
- 28:01Speaker 2: our life, it's just pointing us into our passion. That's
- 28:04Speaker 2: all that it is. It is not to sit and
- 28:05Speaker 2: be like, well, shit, that happened and live with that
- 28:10Speaker 2: experience for the rest of your day or with the
- 28:12Speaker 2: rest of your year, or even for an hour. It's
- 28:15Speaker 2: just to have that experience and oh no, that this
- 28:17Speaker 2: is something else better for me. And this just helped
- 28:20Speaker 2: me recognize there's something better for me. It's just life
- 28:24Speaker 2: is phenomenal, it really is.
- 28:28Speaker 1: And that statement is all about perspective. So you might
- 28:34Speaker 1: be in the trenches of your life right now and
- 28:36Speaker 1: feel like that statement isn't true for you. It's okay.
- 28:41Speaker 1: It's how you're perceiving life. And when you change your
- 28:46Speaker 1: perspective about life and able to go into a what
- 28:50Speaker 1: I call a student mode and learn from life instead
- 28:55Speaker 1: of a victim mode of giving into the trials and
- 28:57Speaker 1: tribulations of this is happening to me, it changes everything.
- 29:02Speaker 1: And so you could go back and watch many of
- 29:05Speaker 1: our videos where we're having these conversations about this. So
- 29:11Speaker 1: as Bev said, these conversations are important and people are
- 29:15Speaker 1: having them, and they're becoming more and more common out
- 29:19Speaker 1: in the public.
- 29:21Speaker 2: People.
- 29:22Speaker 1: You probably work next to somebody who is interested in
- 29:26Speaker 1: these conversations or seeking guidance like this, so be sure
- 29:29Speaker 1: to if you're not confident enough or too shy to
- 29:38Speaker 1: have conversations like this with people because you're not quite
- 29:41Speaker 1: sure how they'll receive it, then you just say, hey,
- 29:43Speaker 1: you know, I watched this video. Maybe you'd be interested
- 29:48Speaker 1: in watching it too, and here's the link, or here's
- 29:51Speaker 1: the book, or here's a podcast, like whatever, whatever it is,
- 29:56Speaker 1: just be resourceful and share what you're learning and or
- 30:02Speaker 1: plant seeds. Seeds seeds grow, So if you just plant
- 30:07Speaker 1: a little seed in a conversation, it intrigues people and
- 30:10Speaker 1: then they'll want to know more. So this is what
- 30:14Speaker 1: we get to do. We get to help each other.
- 30:15Speaker 1: And that's why Bev and I started recording these these
- 30:18Speaker 1: our conversations is because we knew it would be beneficial
- 30:22Speaker 1: for other people. So you can find us on many
- 30:25Speaker 1: platforms or on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Speaker, Spotify, podcast, attic YouTube,
- 30:31Speaker 1: and so are all the other influencers teachers guides that
- 30:37Speaker 1: you listen to that resonate with you and share them.
- 30:42Speaker 1: And I see a podcast that I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 30:45Speaker 1: I know a ton of people. I have a Facebook group.
- 30:48Speaker 1: I know a ton of people would get benefit from this.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I will put it in my group. And whether they
- 30:52Speaker 1: watch it, it's for again divine timing, whether they decide
- 30:56Speaker 1: to watch it or not, or even get to see
- 30:58Speaker 1: the post, because we know how social media is, whether
- 31:02Speaker 1: they even see the post and they listen to it like,
- 31:04Speaker 1: it's all divine timing, and so be a blessing to others.
- 31:11Speaker 1: That was our perspective when we start doing this. We
- 31:14Speaker 1: are a blessing to others. Whether it's one person or
- 31:17Speaker 1: a thousand people, doesn't matter. Somebody is going to get
- 31:21Speaker 1: something from this. You find the words.
- 31:26Speaker 2: I want to go back to the part where take
- 31:28Speaker 2: a breath. Take a breath and just see what you
- 31:31Speaker 2: notice inside your body, and only, like you said, maybe
- 31:33Speaker 2: ten seconds if you did some breaths for a minute,
- 31:38Speaker 2: take a breath and just pay attention and get yourself
- 31:41Speaker 2: into the now and see if you start noticing. It
- 31:44Speaker 2: may have only given you ten seconds of brief peace,
- 31:50Speaker 2: but that's ten seconds and then you can celebrate that
- 31:53Speaker 2: and then make it bigger, and then make it bigger
- 31:55Speaker 2: and make it bigger. So just take time to take
- 31:57Speaker 2: the breaths. Yeah, take time to have the awareness. Yeh awesome, all.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Right friends, thanks for hanging out with us, teach time
- 32:04Speaker 1: with Amy and Beb. We'll see you next time.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Bye,
