- 1:04Speaker 1: guys are not want to get missed this one. It
- 1:06Speaker 1: is an awesome one. First, I want to lead off
- 1:08Speaker 1: with a clip, and this clip will break down a
- 1:11Speaker 1: little bit of how much JP Morgan is willing to spend.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Take a look.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I do think there might be in the next couple
- 1:17Speaker 2: of years a chance to put tend or twenty billion
- 1:19Speaker 2: dollars to work buying something. But also I think, just
- 1:22Speaker 2: if you hear me, I guess their prices are high,
- 1:24Speaker 2: so you know, I'm not that fond of buying stock
- 1:26Speaker 2: at these prices or companies, and we're quite patient with capital.
- 1:30Speaker 3: What else do they need to add on at this point? Right?
- 1:33Speaker 4: So I would characterize three possibilities. Number one probably something internationally.
- 1:38Speaker 4: The second is probably payments, where we have new payment rails,
- 1:42Speaker 4: new technology, new competitors coming in try to usurp. I
- 1:45Speaker 4: think JPM morgan has an opportunity to booke up their
- 1:48Speaker 4: payments business. And third is probably on the asset management
- 1:51Speaker 4: and well side, where they are already very strong but
- 1:54Speaker 4: could be stronger as well.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:55Speaker 5: The markup is coming, I mean, what are you going
- 1:57Speaker 5: to do about it?
- 1:57Speaker 2: It is we'll fight it. If we lose, we lose,
- 1:59Speaker 2: and we'll live. No one's going to bow down to
- 2:01Speaker 2: this guy or that company, right, He's the only one,
- 2:05Speaker 2: and he's spending on hundreds of millions of dollars in Washington.
- 2:07Speaker 2: This thing he said, he's representing the whole lit full
- 2:10Speaker 2: of shit.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well, when you align payments, you also look at the
- 2:16Speaker 1: amount of acquisition in terms of customers that they could
- 2:19Speaker 1: get to. Coinbase could be on the potential target list here.
- 2:23Speaker 1: If you go back to twenty twenty three, it was
- 2:25Speaker 1: around eight point seven billion. You heard Diamond say they're
- 2:28Speaker 1: right in the sense that he thought asset prices were high.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Because current evaluation right now is almost fifty billion in
- 2:35Speaker 1: terms of Coinbase, so twenty billion would be a definite bargain.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I guess the key here is if asset prices pulled down,
- 2:42Speaker 1: remember the S and P bumping all time high, could
- 2:45Speaker 1: see eight thousand even this year, So there's still a
- 2:48Speaker 1: lot of runway here before we see it going further
- 2:51Speaker 1: into If you look at the market cap history here
- 2:54Speaker 1: of Circle, who could be another potential Let's go back
- 2:58Speaker 1: into February of twenty six, around fourteen billion, granted it's
- 3:01Speaker 1: up now, but around thirty billion. But again these could
- 3:04Speaker 1: be overvalued. If you went in and just purchase Circle,
- 3:09Speaker 1: it'd almost be in a situation where you start to
- 3:11Speaker 1: cause a lot of pain around coinbase. So this gets
- 3:14Speaker 1: into the evolution of long term and what JP Morgan
- 3:19Speaker 1: could potentially be setting up for an investment community, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: of course coinbas has a big one. All of this
- 3:25Speaker 1: lining up and if you look at other things that
- 3:27Speaker 1: play into this, Let's not forget that Circle was also
- 3:31Speaker 1: talking to Ripple went from to offer ten billion or
- 3:34Speaker 1: even twenty billion, and that is the real question here.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Could this be another target for even Ripple Ripple has
- 3:41Speaker 1: of course, I think maybe some better options here going forward,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and timing is right, because when you have a market
- 3:47Speaker 1: down like where we are right now, it could be
- 3:49Speaker 1: one of those scenarios where there could be some really
- 3:52Speaker 1: good values going forward. Brad and Jamie Diamond have a
- 3:56Speaker 1: little bit of beef. There's you know, there's some bad
- 3:58Speaker 1: blood there. And if you look at Brad what he
- 4:00Speaker 1: said about jp coin in the past, take a look
- 4:03Speaker 1: at this clip.
- 4:04Speaker 5: I think it's great for the blockchain and crypto industry
- 4:07Speaker 5: to have players like JPM leaning in thumbs up. That's great.
- 4:11Speaker 5: That's the only nice thing I'm gonna say about this.
- 4:14Speaker 5: So is Morgan Stanley going to use the JPM coin?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Probably not, you know, And so Well City going to
- 4:18Speaker 5: use a JPM coin? Is b of A going to
- 4:19Speaker 5: use a JPM coin? Is P and Z? And the
- 4:21Speaker 5: answer is no. Does that mean we're all going to
- 4:23Speaker 5: have these different coins? And does that mean like we're
- 4:24Speaker 5: back to where we are where there's lack of interoperability, So, like,
- 4:27Speaker 5: I don't get it. One more quick thing on a
- 4:29Speaker 5: JPM coin. They announced for institutional customers, if you give
- 4:32Speaker 5: them a dollar and deposits, they'll give you a JPM
- 4:35Speaker 5: coin that you then can move within the JPM ledger.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Wait a minute, just use the dollar, right, Well I don't.
- 4:41Speaker 5: I really don't understand if you're just moving within the
- 4:44Speaker 5: JPM ledger and it has to be dollar to dollar,
- 4:47Speaker 5: you know, one to one backing, it honestly doesn't. Actually,
- 4:50Speaker 5: I don't understand what problem that solves. Look, if it
- 4:52Speaker 5: solves the problem of JPM being associated as they're leaning
- 4:55Speaker 5: into crypto, ya, that's all I got.
- 4:58Speaker 2: All right, Look at this doesn't work out. You could
- 5:00Speaker 2: be a commedian.
- 5:01Speaker 1: So well, like a dagger to the heart there in
- 5:04Speaker 1: terms of what this looks like. All right, so remember
- 5:07Speaker 1: that Ripple has recently been acquiring over these last eighteen months.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Then they stopped. The key here is maybe and through
- 5:13Speaker 1: this statement, I think they might restart. It says this
- 5:16Speaker 1: year will be more of an integration year. You shouldn't
- 5:18Speaker 1: expect any other major acquisitions in their future. However, you
- 5:22Speaker 1: should never say never. We may start looking at acquisitions
- 5:26Speaker 1: more eagerly again in the second half of the year.
- 5:28Speaker 1: So this is coming up now. We are literally a
- 5:31Speaker 1: couple of months away from the second half of the year.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That of course puts some things into perspective because if
- 5:37Speaker 1: Ripple is not interested in coinbase, and I think this
- 5:40Speaker 1: clip will kind of explain why, then who would they
- 5:44Speaker 1: be interested in?
- 5:45Speaker 2: Take a look?
- 5:46Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Part of what Brian Armsherink said publicly was about how
- 5:48Speaker 5: AI is a factor in those layoffs for Ripple. We're
- 5:53Speaker 5: not thinking about AI as a tool to reduce headcount.
- 5:55Speaker 5: We're thinking about it as an unlock and enabler to
- 5:58Speaker 5: go after more products, more customs faster, not a hey
- 6:02Speaker 5: we can save money over here.
- 6:04Speaker 4: Well, it's not only Brian Armstrong who said that, I
- 6:06Speaker 4: think we've heard that from the CEOs kind of pretty
- 6:08Speaker 4: much across the board.
- 6:10Speaker 5: What do you cover story? And I think the companies
- 6:12Speaker 5: that are hanging frankly maybe sometimes bad management on a hey,
- 6:17Speaker 5: this is because of AI. I think it's unfortunate. AI
- 6:19Speaker 5: is an unlock.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Wow bad management. Okay, so again another strike in there.
- 6:25Speaker 1: So if you consider a potential, one that I would
- 6:28Speaker 1: recommend is just go after Cracking right here at files
- 6:30Speaker 1: for an IPO eight hundred mili on a fundraising valuation
- 6:34Speaker 1: setting at twenty billion here, which is in the price
- 6:37Speaker 1: range of what has been tossed out there. And remember value,
- 6:40Speaker 1: of course will play into this in a down market.
- 6:43Speaker 1: The key here is is there a good marriage in play,
- 6:46Speaker 1: because there's a lot of things that would be beneficial
- 6:49Speaker 1: for Ripple and Kracking to create something like this. Here's
- 6:52Speaker 1: the CEO of Cracking breaking it down.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Recently, we saw one of your competitors, Coinbase, layoff about
- 6:59Speaker 5: fourteen percent of their employees citing AI.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And so I think a lot of people are having
- 7:04Speaker 3: the identity crisis. You can have AI still come up
- 7:07Speaker 3: with crap that goes for every function in the company.
- 7:10Speaker 3: I mean, we've also been lucky where we didn't raise
- 7:12Speaker 3: a ton of capital over the last fifteen years. We
- 7:14Speaker 3: have the i'd say, the added ability to think much
- 7:17Speaker 3: more long term. When you are driven by quarterly earnings headlines,
- 7:22Speaker 3: you're going to use the word permissioned, You're going to
- 7:24Speaker 3: use the word AI, You're going to use the word blockchain.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Is it permissionless or is it permissioned? Let's say DTCC
- 7:31Speaker 3: and all these initiative that are happening in the United States.
- 7:33Speaker 3: We have this perspective that let's create a utopian world
- 7:35Speaker 3: where like you get access to everything when the number
- 7:38Speaker 3: one problem is a do I just have access to
- 7:41Speaker 3: the asset? A lot of what we've structured is like,
- 7:43Speaker 3: how do you make it permission less? How do you
- 7:44Speaker 3: get access to it? It's not just a crack and thing,
- 7:46Speaker 3: It's an Xbox platform. How does it get on Solana?
- 7:48Speaker 3: How does it get on eth how's get on every
- 7:50Speaker 3: single ecosystem? You know, we just continue to reduce the cost,
- 7:54Speaker 3: hopefully down to zero overtime where you know, ninety to
- 7:57Speaker 3: ninety five or even one hundred percent. The economics go
- 7:59Speaker 3: to the partners in the customers, themselves and that's what
- 8:01Speaker 3: our goal has been.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I think Argent kind of zeros in on that too,
- 8:05Speaker 1: because Xtox is a good example of one of what
- 8:08Speaker 1: would make this company a real value. If you just
- 8:10Speaker 1: look at x stox right now in the distributed asset
- 8:12Speaker 1: value and the fact that we're going to continue to
- 8:14Speaker 1: see it exploding, this would be perfect for Ripple. This
- 8:18Speaker 1: is something they need tokenize securities. And of course this
- 8:22Speaker 1: lines up all the way into when you break this
- 8:24Speaker 1: down on xtos, look here even on base. So this
- 8:28Speaker 1: is an opportunity for Ripple to really start to control
- 8:32Speaker 1: this market. That is huge for where the potential could be,
- 8:36Speaker 1: especially around an acquisition set up for Ripple. So another thing,
- 8:40Speaker 1: if you just look at the exposure that this would
- 8:42Speaker 1: open up. Remember Xtox now is going to be literally
- 8:46Speaker 1: all the way through Wall Street. So this is an
- 8:48Speaker 1: opportunity in a big way. And let's not forget right now.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Kraken was the first crypt native firm to get a
- 8:56Speaker 1: Federal Reserve Master account. This was the skinny account that's
- 8:59Speaker 1: an automatic slammed up. If they do this soon, that
- 9:02Speaker 1: would give Ripple immediate access to a skinny account. This
- 9:05Speaker 1: of course changes I think The trajectory of where Ripple
- 9:10Speaker 1: could be going, especially around token is securities, which is
- 9:12Speaker 1: going to be huge and could put them head to
- 9:16Speaker 1: head with places like JP Morgan, Blackrock, I mean, you
- 9:19Speaker 1: name them. Ripple could be in the same sentence as those.
- 9:23Speaker 1: So if we had to go out on a shopping
- 9:25Speaker 1: spree and spend a little bit less, get a little
- 9:28Speaker 1: bit more frugal, Paxos would be the one. Remember Paxos
- 9:32Speaker 1: right here they got there, This was brand new, receives
- 9:35Speaker 1: a clearing agency registration from the SEC. This is the
- 9:39Speaker 1: first one that's out there. And if you consider right
- 9:42Speaker 1: now Paxos in terms of their valuation on the low end,
- 9:46Speaker 1: let's say two and a half billion, but right now
- 9:49Speaker 1: valuation estimate around three billion, this would be a bargain
- 9:52Speaker 1: for Ripple. And there's a couple of reasons why think
- 9:55Speaker 1: about this right here? Look at with what they would
- 9:58Speaker 1: grab in terms of just stable coins. This is PayPal, USD,
- 10:01Speaker 1: Paxo's gold is in there. You've got of course USDG.
- 10:04Speaker 1: That's Robinhood right there, so and then you've got Binance
- 10:09Speaker 1: USD and then of course the packs dollar. So this
- 10:11Speaker 1: will be a huge one. And let's not forget that
- 10:13Speaker 1: Paxos is also known for commodities. Look at this, If
- 10:18Speaker 1: you look at Paxos and Tether right now, that is
- 10:22Speaker 1: almost neck and neck. Literally, Paxos gold and Tether gold
- 10:26Speaker 1: almost neck and neck, and the valuation of gold alone
- 10:29Speaker 1: in terms of their holdings lines up with a really
- 10:32Speaker 1: good values. One last thing is when you consider the
- 10:35Speaker 1: idea around the XRP community, gold very centric oriented within
- 10:41Speaker 1: the XRP community. It's probably one of the key assets
- 10:43Speaker 1: that held outside that. So is this the acquisition time
- 10:46Speaker 1: for Ripple? Maybe it is? Is this the acquisition time
- 10:49Speaker 1: for JP Morgan looking for a better deal because of
- 10:53Speaker 1: asset prices being a little bit higher? Guys, I think
- 10:55Speaker 1: we're going to see some fireworks, So stay tuned for
- 10:57Speaker 1: this one. If you like this video, hit like and subscribe,
