- 0:08Speaker 1: Scrible advice. Shoot. Hello, Hello, welcome to the Nord Even
- 0:16Speaker 1: Night Show. I'm Rob Shooter. It's Monday, which means our
- 0:18Speaker 1: dear friend Garrett Vogel is joining us. Hey, Garrett, are
- 0:22Speaker 1: you there? Hello? Robbie Shooter is so excited his infectious.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It's absolutely infectious. Do you know what else is infectionous?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I went to see Funny Girl this weekend. It's Loves,
- 0:34Speaker 1: a drama about Funny Girl. Beanie Felstein is out. Lea
- 0:39Speaker 1: Michelle is coming in. But there happens to be a
- 0:42Speaker 1: month gap between Beanie leaving and Leah arriving. So you've
- 0:47Speaker 1: got the understand. She is a star. Her name is
- 0:50Speaker 1: Julie Benko, and for a month she is doing the
- 0:55Speaker 1: show every night. And she's so good that when Leah
- 0:58Speaker 1: joins the show, she's still going to do it twice
- 1:00Speaker 1: a week. I think, dare I say this is a
- 1:04Speaker 1: star is born? You very rarely see this. You're gonna
- 1:06Speaker 1: see shows. You see Hugh Jackman, he's great, he's a stone.
- 1:10Speaker 1: You see on the people. You're really great. But I've
- 1:12Speaker 1: never actually in my life watch somebody and thought, my goodness,
- 1:16Speaker 1: I'm discovering a star. And I know it's it stinks
- 1:20Speaker 1: to say this, but when if you ever get the
- 1:22Speaker 1: opportunity and you go to a Broadway show, like obviously
- 1:25Speaker 1: you've saved a lot of money, you know it's something
- 1:27Speaker 1: you're very excited about. You get to the show, you
- 1:30Speaker 1: open up your play bill a little and that little
- 1:33Speaker 1: piece of white People falls out on your lap, and
- 1:35Speaker 1: it's like Tonight's Tonight's main character will be played by
- 1:38Speaker 1: always girl. Yeah, I always hope it's like the third
- 1:41Speaker 1: spoon from the left, and Beauty and the Beast will
- 1:44Speaker 1: be But when it's Bell or when it's like the lead,
- 1:47Speaker 1: when it's when it's Fanny Bryce, you're like this girl,
- 1:51Speaker 1: Julie Benko. Learned that name. Learn that name, Julie Benko,
- 1:57Speaker 1: trust uncle Roberts. Two months from now, they two years
- 2:00Speaker 1: from now, she'll be a star. And you know what
- 2:02Speaker 1: this podcast will be like, be like this is where
- 2:06Speaker 1: she was, This is where it cos, this is where
- 2:08Speaker 1: Rob shoot her and some other guy I think his
- 2:12Speaker 1: name is Johnny, name is Ny Garrett. Go and see
- 2:18Speaker 1: Funny Girl. Now I get it. Some people might be
- 2:20Speaker 1: saving their money to go and see Leah Michelle. I
- 2:22Speaker 1: do get it. So this is a hard month. But honestly,
- 2:25Speaker 1: if you can go and see Julie Benko and Funny Girl.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I never go on like that, but she is fabulous
- 2:34Speaker 1: and she's very funny. Look, it takes a lot for
- 2:36Speaker 1: you to get on your your throne of rob shooters.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Don't you really don't you don't stop about it? I
- 2:43Speaker 1: don't do it. I loved it. I loved it. I laughed,
- 2:46Speaker 1: I cried and the songs let's just don't reign on
- 2:50Speaker 1: my parade? Did you walk out of the out of
- 2:53Speaker 1: the theater after the show like marching? Like, don't such
- 2:58Speaker 1: a narcissist? I walked out to to see did you
- 3:00Speaker 1: go dancing through Broadway? The star a right by far?
- 3:03Speaker 1: I loved it. Julie Benco, funny Girl, Hey, let's get
- 3:06Speaker 1: into our show. What time is? See my friends and
- 3:08Speaker 1: his tea time? Lots of and news to bring us
- 3:12Speaker 1: up to date. M so Ellen Degenerous sent her love
- 3:15Speaker 1: to Anne's family after the actress passed away. So these
- 3:19Speaker 1: two had a groundbreaking relationship. Yes, it was a long
- 3:23Speaker 1: time ago. It was in the late nineties, but this
- 3:26Speaker 1: will always be a couple. There will always be a
- 3:28Speaker 1: couple in many people's minds because it was so revolutionary.
- 3:31Speaker 1: So Ellen tweeted on Friday, this is a sad day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: That's the day that And passed. She said, quote, I'm
- 3:37Speaker 1: sending Ann's children, family and friends all my love. The
- 3:42Speaker 1: right thing to do? What do you think, Garrett, Yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 1: we talked about this exactly a week ago when we
- 3:46Speaker 1: learned of the crash, and we're like, what would be
- 3:49Speaker 1: the right thing for Ellen to do. We both kind
- 3:52Speaker 1: of agree to maybe just send a message, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: outside of the world. But you know, Ellen took to
- 3:59Speaker 1: Instagram and Twitter on Friday to you know, do what
- 4:02Speaker 1: we thought would probably been the good thing to do.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Of the like sending love. There's not much more you
- 4:07Speaker 1: could say. The relationship was so long ago that it
- 4:11Speaker 1: wasn't like it was less weak we were together, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: But but it's still a piece of history, of a
- 4:16Speaker 1: piece of their lives. Just thinking about it, because just
- 4:18Speaker 1: before And dated Ellen, she dated Steve Martin. Now no
- 4:22Speaker 1: one's asking Steve Martin for a comment, and he was
- 4:25Speaker 1: literally with Anne just before that relationship. But the Ellen one,
- 4:29Speaker 1: it's because of who they were and what they did
- 4:32Speaker 1: for lgbt Q rights. It was unheard of this was
- 4:35Speaker 1: long before gay marriage. This was long before you could
- 4:38Speaker 1: come out and it had no effect on your career.
- 4:41Speaker 1: This was revolutionary what these two ladies did. Also other news,
- 4:45Speaker 1: the police have closed their investigation into the crash and
- 4:49Speaker 1: they're not going to move forward with it. So if
- 4:51Speaker 1: you remember, the police did take a blood sample while
- 4:55Speaker 1: Anne was still in the hospital and they found out
- 4:58Speaker 1: that cocaine was in her cisy stem. Now that she's passed,
- 5:02Speaker 1: that investigation has closed. Jarrett, I think another good idea.
- 5:06Speaker 1: I think so too. And you know what I didn't
- 5:09Speaker 1: do this weekend because it was it was flying all
- 5:11Speaker 1: over the place, was them taking the body outside of
- 5:14Speaker 1: the crash, and you saw the headline, and the headline
- 5:17Speaker 1: is very captivating of and he's trying to get out
- 5:19Speaker 1: of a body bag, and you're like, I could I
- 5:22Speaker 1: couldn't click it. I couldn't click it whatsoever. Like as
- 5:25Speaker 1: as intriguing as that headline is, as much as that
- 5:27Speaker 1: clickbait of a headline, it was, I could not click it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Don't do it. And then finally with an a last
- 5:33Speaker 1: piece of news is that she has been taken off
- 5:36Speaker 1: life support. So they announced on Friday that she was
- 5:40Speaker 1: brain dead and in California that means dead. But they
- 5:44Speaker 1: kept her on life support because she wanted to donate
- 5:48Speaker 1: her organs. They did pair her over the weekend. They
- 5:52Speaker 1: found somebody, They found somebody that she was a match for,
- 5:56Speaker 1: and so they kept her on life support until they
- 6:00Speaker 1: found somebody that paired up with and that was happened
- 6:04Speaker 1: that that was done over the weekend. So now she's
- 6:07Speaker 1: off life support and I'm you know, it's in the
- 6:09Speaker 1: funeral pretty soon. The interesting thing about organ donation is both, well,
- 6:14Speaker 1: my sister donated her kidney and my mom also received
- 6:18Speaker 1: a kidney, not from my sister. You you know, you
- 6:21Speaker 1: get to know of the person, but you don't know
- 6:24Speaker 1: the person specifically. So they'll say, oh, well, you're getting
- 6:28Speaker 1: my sister donated to another you know, about twenty year old,
- 6:31Speaker 1: and that's all it is. Oh, you're getting a twenty
- 6:33Speaker 1: year old female kidney, and my mom got you know,
- 6:36Speaker 1: a fifty six year old kidney from from someone for herself.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So whoever received these organs, all they know is that
- 6:43Speaker 1: it is a female of a certain age and that's it.
- 6:47Speaker 1: They don't know because you have to request, you know,
- 6:50Speaker 1: to meet this person. And obviously we know that this
- 6:52Speaker 1: story is a little bit different, but it's interesting to know.
- 6:55Speaker 1: It's like Anne is helping save someone's life, but that
- 6:58Speaker 1: person really will never get to know and specifically right
- 7:02Speaker 1: they'll they won't know that they're walking around with a
- 7:05Speaker 1: part of an They will never know that. It's an
- 7:08Speaker 1: amazing I'm big on organ donation. I filed out the
- 7:12Speaker 1: form myself just this weekend, Garrett, So there was some
- 7:16Speaker 1: good interesting in this really awful story, and I think
- 7:19Speaker 1: other people will do it. I didn't understand why it
- 7:23Speaker 1: was taking so long to say she had passed, and
- 7:26Speaker 1: then I did a little research and I was like,
- 7:28Speaker 1: it's because she's on life support. But if your brain dead,
- 7:31Speaker 1: you have you have died and they're just keeping you alive.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I thought, what an amazing thing, that something good can
- 7:38Speaker 1: come out of something so bad. So I literally went
- 7:40Speaker 1: online this weekend and filled out the forms. Maybe you
- 7:43Speaker 1: could think about doing it too. Are you are you
- 7:45Speaker 1: signed up to donate, Garrett? Unfortunately I can't be. I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: a Type one diabetic, so it's hard for me to
- 7:51Speaker 1: donate anything. Because you don't want you don't damage good.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I mean, you want the best of the best. You know, well,
- 7:56Speaker 1: then I will take Garrett anything you have to offer
- 7:59Speaker 1: because we love you. Here, hey, let's jump to our
- 8:02Speaker 1: pole question of the day. Ellen has sent her love
- 8:05Speaker 1: to Anne and her family after the actress died. Is
- 8:09Speaker 1: this the right move? I think I know the answer,
- 8:11Speaker 1: But go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice
- 8:15Speaker 1: rom at facebook page. Is Naughty your zip and be
- 8:17Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Take
- 8:20Speaker 1: Garrett Love, what are you working on? All right? Well,
- 8:23Speaker 1: let's talk about a different type of drama going on
- 8:26Speaker 1: right now. J LO supporting Britney Spears. Brittany is still
- 8:30Speaker 1: going through some some craziness with her ex Kevin Federline
- 8:33Speaker 1: and their two boys, and uh, you know, some audio
- 8:36Speaker 1: came out at the end of last week of Brittany
- 8:40Speaker 1: yelling at the boys and Kevin federal Line posting it
- 8:45Speaker 1: messy divorce at that uh, the messy divorce that's still
- 8:49Speaker 1: seems to be going on obviously, So of course Brittany
- 8:53Speaker 1: put put up a little caption saying, as the as
- 8:56Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez once said, you look right down at that
- 8:59Speaker 1: camera and every little girl in the world to get loud,
- 9:02Speaker 1: never back down to giving light to injustice. I'm here
- 9:06Speaker 1: to share that freedom is a state of mind. J
- 9:10Speaker 1: Lo jumped on that and said, stay strong little the
- 9:15Speaker 1: arm emoji and uh, but but it's interesting. Did you
- 9:19Speaker 1: happen to listen to that audio that Kevin h led
- 9:24Speaker 1: out to the world. Absolutely, so we put out three
- 9:26Speaker 1: It was three videos. You couldn't see much, so it
- 9:29Speaker 1: just sounded like an audio. Yeah, he said, there were
- 9:31Speaker 1: from about four years ago. Some people think it's Brittany
- 9:35Speaker 1: off the rails. Some people think, who are parents? May
- 9:38Speaker 1: I add that that's just the parents having a bad day.
- 9:41Speaker 1: That was a parent, Garrett, What did you think when
- 9:43Speaker 1: you heard that video? At first? Yes, you think, yes,
- 9:46Speaker 1: there are those situations where you do have your bad days.
- 9:51Speaker 1: But but what is about is that every day? It's
- 9:55Speaker 1: not every day. Obviously it's not every day for me,
- 9:58Speaker 1: and I can't speak for Brittany, but what Brittany is
- 10:01Speaker 1: claiming that her parents did sounds like she's doing to
- 10:06Speaker 1: her you know what I mean. Oh, it's so interesting.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's called learned behavior, and it's like a cycle of behavior.
- 10:12Speaker 1: So things that are done to you you often do
- 10:16Speaker 1: to others. It's an amazing concept in therapy and in
- 10:19Speaker 1: life here and they tell you to break the circle.
- 10:22Speaker 1: So if your mom and dad screamed at you, the
- 10:24Speaker 1: chances of you being a screamer are quite high. I've
- 10:28Speaker 1: caught myself doing things that my dad used to do
- 10:31Speaker 1: that I didn't like, and I've stopped myself by looking
- 10:33Speaker 1: in the mirror and seeing my dad's face and I'm like,
- 10:36Speaker 1: stop right now. I could once. I was quite sulky once.
- 10:40Speaker 1: If you upset me, Garrett, I could sulk about it
- 10:42Speaker 1: for weeks, which is what my dad does. If you
- 10:43Speaker 1: upset my dad, he might have talked to you for
- 10:45Speaker 1: like two days. And I did that too, and I stopped.
- 10:49Speaker 1: So now when you upset me, I talk even more
- 10:52Speaker 1: to probably annoy you. So when you're annoying me, I
- 10:56Speaker 1: know you that'll get you. Hey, moving along. There's that
- 10:59Speaker 1: much drama at the moment between Holder and Savannah at
- 11:02Speaker 1: the Today Show. Lots of rumors, lots of speculation that
- 11:05Speaker 1: they just don't get a long tension is what we're hearing.
- 11:07Speaker 1: So the rumor mill mallow, Oh my goodness, So the
- 11:13Speaker 1: rumor went into over mill this week when Savannah was
- 11:17Speaker 1: late for work. Now, several reports said that Savannah was
- 11:21Speaker 1: late on pampers because she wanted to show the show
- 11:24Speaker 1: that she's the boss. I didn't connect them. I think
- 11:28Speaker 1: she just slept in. Now we should say Savannah is
- 11:31Speaker 1: the forty million dollar woman. So when Savannah sleeps in,
- 11:35Speaker 1: it's code read at NBC. So Savannah is almost like
- 11:39Speaker 1: a doctor on call. She has a pages, she has
- 11:42Speaker 1: a phone, she has a bat line, she has everything.
- 11:45Speaker 1: She even has a studio in her house. If she's
- 11:47Speaker 1: running late for work, she can just go downstairs to
- 11:50Speaker 1: the basement and do the show there for forty million dollars.
- 11:53Speaker 1: That's presidential type security. Did you watch her and know
- 11:57Speaker 1: that when she was Yes, it was adorable, like like
- 12:00Speaker 1: a smart journalist. Though she she documented it and you
- 12:03Speaker 1: know they rolled with it. But that that's what makes
- 12:06Speaker 1: a good show instead of just kind of like nothing
- 12:08Speaker 1: to see here, sweep this under the worg. She's like, listen,
- 12:12Speaker 1: you know, and and and that happens to everyone. People
- 12:14Speaker 1: listening right now are late for work as they listen
- 12:16Speaker 1: to our voices. You know where you uh, very I don't,
- 12:22Speaker 1: I don't remember, I don't think. I don't think I've
- 12:25Speaker 1: ever been like you're very responsible. Now, give people an
- 12:29Speaker 1: insight because as well as this fabulous podcast. You're on
- 12:32Speaker 1: ze every morning, five days a week. What times you
- 12:34Speaker 1: get there? Give us the five o'clock in the more.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You're in the studio in your chair at five o'clock,
- 12:39Speaker 1: or you in the studio in my chair behind my
- 12:42Speaker 1: desk at five o'clock ready to open up the pages
- 12:47Speaker 1: of the internet to find out what the hell has
- 12:50Speaker 1: happened the night before or over the weekend for the show.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Do you do prep work or no? You do it
- 12:55Speaker 1: at five o'clock in the morning, pretty much five o'clock
- 12:57Speaker 1: in the morning, because like like you, just like anything
- 13:00Speaker 1: in life, when you first start, yes, it's like, okay,
- 13:02Speaker 1: let me prepare days in advance. But once she started
- 13:05Speaker 1: doing things for quite a while, you kind of get
- 13:06Speaker 1: into a routine of all right, I know to go here,
- 13:08Speaker 1: I know to look at this, I know to listen
- 13:10Speaker 1: to this, I know to look for this. You kind
- 13:12Speaker 1: of have that that thing, and same thing with Savannah.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I'm sure she knows like, Okay, I gotta be out
- 13:16Speaker 1: the door like this time to get here so I
- 13:18Speaker 1: can do prep go over like she she went in
- 13:21Speaker 1: blind like and she was trific. She was trific. She
- 13:25Speaker 1: she does have a lot of support though too. You
- 13:26Speaker 1: get into Today Show, there's hundreds of producers, there's teleprompters,
- 13:29Speaker 1: so there is a lot of support that. There's even
- 13:31Speaker 1: hair remaint on people to make you look gorgeous. Although
- 13:33Speaker 1: she says so pretty, she gets upody think at four thirty,
- 13:36Speaker 1: gets in the car by five, and then what made
- 13:39Speaker 1: her late to She wasn't staying in the city. She
- 13:41Speaker 1: was upstates, I know, and when you're out of your routine,
- 13:45Speaker 1: so she did. I mean, she's so small, she's so
- 13:47Speaker 1: technically she was though she was late, she was she
- 13:51Speaker 1: was up. She just didn't get out of that. Yes,
- 13:53Speaker 1: she was stick in the car, which we're all we're
- 13:55Speaker 1: all guilty because that's the one thing, isn't it. You
- 13:57Speaker 1: can never predict traffic. I had to go out to
- 14:00Speaker 1: Brooklyn over the weekend to get a shot. I got
- 14:03Speaker 1: my monkey shot maccine over the weekend, and the only
- 14:05Speaker 1: place I could get it was in Brooklyn. I didn't
- 14:07Speaker 1: know how long it would take me to get there,
- 14:09Speaker 1: and I hate being late. So instead of being late,
- 14:12Speaker 1: I was like an hour early because I just didn't
- 14:14Speaker 1: know that. The other side of it, it's like you're
- 14:16Speaker 1: either super late or sup I just got figure out
- 14:20Speaker 1: the times. Hey, what's going on with Shakira. She's making
- 14:22Speaker 1: a lot of news. Yes, so as we know, she
- 14:25Speaker 1: is dealing with a lot in her life. She's dealing
- 14:28Speaker 1: with a breakup, was also in the mix of a
- 14:30Speaker 1: tax fraud situation. And when you're when life's giving you trouble,
- 14:35Speaker 1: what do you do? Do You just pack up and move?
- 14:38Speaker 1: So so she wants to go from Barcelona and live
- 14:40Speaker 1: full time in Miami. But I don't know if she
- 14:44Speaker 1: realizes that the internet travel, the police follow you. Shakira,
- 14:49Speaker 1: just move ye, unless you put on one of those
- 14:52Speaker 1: fake mustaches and goggles, and you can't just does The
- 14:56Speaker 1: legal battle doesn't end when you end Miami. So as
- 15:01Speaker 1: much as we kid though, she kind of wants to
- 15:02Speaker 1: get out of Barcelona because you know, just bad bad memories,
- 15:06Speaker 1: almost like a bad X where you just wanna you
- 15:08Speaker 1: want to break free, you want to delete all the
- 15:10Speaker 1: pictures from Instagram, which she has done and uh and
- 15:14Speaker 1: and and move on from there. Uh. But maybe Miami's
- 15:17Speaker 1: the place to be for her. She has family and
- 15:19Speaker 1: friends there and you know, at the end of the
- 15:22Speaker 1: end of the day too, I think we've all been
- 15:23Speaker 1: in that situation where you know, life does get tough,
- 15:26Speaker 1: and who do you lean on? You lean on family
- 15:28Speaker 1: and friends and and and go from there. Uh. The
- 15:32Speaker 1: only thing that she really can't get away from is
- 15:34Speaker 1: she still is gonna have to She might be able
- 15:36Speaker 1: to get away from the X, but she cannot get
- 15:38Speaker 1: away from the government. The taxman's gonna get I think
- 15:40Speaker 1: she always They claim about thirty million dollars in taxes.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Now she's worth about three millions, so she's paid the
- 15:47Speaker 1: tax biller, but they're still going after her. I think
- 15:50Speaker 1: to use her as an example here, so she's not
- 15:53Speaker 1: market Yeah, they're gonna get you. They're gonna honestly, don't
- 15:56Speaker 1: don't mix message the tax about Wait all right, I
- 16:00Speaker 1: know this is a little bit of a heart take,
- 16:02Speaker 1: but don't you think jail did Martha Stewart good for
- 16:05Speaker 1: her career road? You know what I mean? Like for
- 16:08Speaker 1: for the reason why she went was bad she got
- 16:12Speaker 1: But when she got out though, Rob Shooter, don't you agree?
- 16:14Speaker 1: Like outside of just the world, she was like almost
- 16:18Speaker 1: a cultural what I think she was before she went
- 16:20Speaker 1: in and she was other billy and before she listened
- 16:22Speaker 1: to this. Let me put it like this. She was
- 16:23Speaker 1: doing fine before prison. We're going to take a quick
- 16:26Speaker 1: break before we get anything, because that worth prison. But
- 16:31Speaker 1: I'm want to hang out and Beyonce if I get
- 16:32Speaker 1: a prison. Okay, We're gonna take a quick break and
- 16:35Speaker 1: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Northern
- 16:38Speaker 1: Nice Shooting with your friend Garrett Vocal. Hey Garant, let's
- 16:42Speaker 1: get to the polls. That dumb. So last year we
- 16:44Speaker 1: talked about Ellen reacting to Anne's car crash. At the time,
- 16:49Speaker 1: Anne was still alive and Ellen really didn't want to
- 16:52Speaker 1: talk about it. So I know on today's show the
- 16:54Speaker 1: news is that Ellen sent her love. But that happened
- 16:56Speaker 1: over the weekend and Ellen was initially asked about this.
- 16:59Speaker 1: She didn't really want to deal with it. So should
- 17:02Speaker 1: she have said something? Yes, she said something now, but
- 17:04Speaker 1: she hadn't done that by the time we did Friday's show,
- 17:08Speaker 1: So should she have said something. Let's have a look
- 17:11Speaker 1: think Ellen should have said, which she did do today,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so at least that's good news. Don't get to vote
- 17:16Speaker 1: on today's poll. Go to act to the page at
- 17:18Speaker 1: Naughty Nice Rob On Facebook page is Naughty gassip and
- 17:21Speaker 1: be sure it's check back tomorrow. He your results. Hey, Garrett,
- 17:26Speaker 1: who's the nicest of the day. This is going to
- 17:28Speaker 1: hurt to eat you right now. This is so we
- 17:33Speaker 1: hear from Arthur Stewart anything about what I just said,
- 17:36Speaker 1: but so that I mean, we saw the memes last
- 17:38Speaker 1: week after Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian, you know, separated,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and everyone who's like, oh, look at that picture from
- 17:44Speaker 1: the met Gallow of Martha Stewart holding holding his hand.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But this is what I'm saying. I don't think Martha
- 17:51Speaker 1: would have replied to this, but if maybe maybe you know,
- 17:55Speaker 1: so this is what she said. She goes Pete Davidson
- 17:57Speaker 1: is like the sun I never had. Responding to course,
- 18:00Speaker 1: the rumors that Pete Davidson would move onto the Martha
- 18:03Speaker 1: Stewart's next uh you know, he's charming boy who's finding
- 18:07Speaker 1: his way and invited him to come to my party,
- 18:09Speaker 1: which is clever, little plug, little drop in the podcast.
- 18:14Speaker 1: That's what it takes to get a plug, Rob Shooter,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you and I, uh so, of course, and and all
- 18:23Speaker 1: this leads back to the the White House Correspondence dinner
- 18:25Speaker 1: where they're all Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson and in so
- 18:30Speaker 1: you know, at least Martha Stewart plays into it. She plays.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I think she she knows it's like, hey, let's have
- 18:36Speaker 1: some fun, and that she said on the choke I
- 18:38Speaker 1: didn't feet her several times and I am it. After prison,
- 18:41Speaker 1: she was a lot more loosey goosey, So maybe your right, Garret.
- 18:43Speaker 1: She's really funny and she's always been in on the
- 18:46Speaker 1: joke of how perfect she is meant to be, and
- 18:48Speaker 1: she certainly is human. I've met her at partiesn't Oh,
- 18:51Speaker 1: she's just fabulous. Would you rather hold Martha Stewart's handle? Pets?
- 18:58Speaker 1: You love Pete? You? I do? But I feel like
- 19:03Speaker 1: are we playing long game here? Like long like? What
- 19:06Speaker 1: would this lead to? If saying who would you rather
- 19:08Speaker 1: have sex? Smith? And I'm saying in a nice way,
- 19:11Speaker 1: that's why Martha Pete? There you go, there's one for
- 19:17Speaker 1: each there, Well, let's do and not? Is that the
- 19:21Speaker 1: day there's real house Sights of New Jersey are now
- 19:25Speaker 1: talking about why Melissa and Joe Gorga did not go
- 19:30Speaker 1: to Teresa's wedding. So they didn't turn up at the
- 19:32Speaker 1: wedding because a couple of days before the wedding. They
- 19:34Speaker 1: were filming the season finale of the Housewives, and it
- 19:37Speaker 1: got really nasty about Melissa's alleged affair or kiss with
- 19:42Speaker 1: somebody a stranger. Actually know the guy his name is Nick,
- 19:44Speaker 1: is really cute. But now Melissa and Joe were saying, no,
- 19:48Speaker 1: that's not true. The reason they didn't go is much
- 19:50Speaker 1: bigger than that. It always this, isn't it. So the
- 19:52Speaker 1: big reason is that Melissa and Joe auditioned for this
- 19:56Speaker 1: show and Teresa didn't like it. This was over a
- 19:58Speaker 1: decade ago, so Teresa was on the show before her
- 20:01Speaker 1: brother and his wife. And then Teresa said behind her
- 20:04Speaker 1: back that your audition and she's never really forgiven them
- 20:07Speaker 1: and she wanted to be the star. And that does
- 20:09Speaker 1: get it together. Get it together, you're a naughtiest of
- 20:13Speaker 1: the day. Listen with the wonder if they paid them.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I wonder if they paid the bill though that Teresa
- 20:18Speaker 1: sent them, if something, I mean, it's expensive. What is
- 20:22Speaker 1: like two hundred dollars a person at a wedding, like
- 20:25Speaker 1: we know that housewife she got an all conter pensioned, Hey,
- 20:30Speaker 1: let's send me to the moment Robb. So we do
- 20:33Speaker 1: celebrity quotes, and this is a celebrity kind of a
- 20:35Speaker 1: strange one fresh show. But Aristotle said the following, if
- 20:38Speaker 1: you don't know who he is, he's not a rapper,
- 20:40Speaker 1: he's not on the housewives. He's a Greek philosopher. He said,
- 20:42Speaker 1: the following would be any of it made a great
- 20:45Speaker 1: name for a rapper. Quote. There is only one way
- 20:48Speaker 1: to avoid criticism. Do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.
- 20:54Speaker 1: You want to be criticized in life because when you're
- 20:56Speaker 1: being criticized, it means you were doing something, you're saying something,
- 21:00Speaker 1: and you're being someone. So the more you're criticized, the better,
- 21:03Speaker 1: ironically your life is. That is it for today. Thank
- 21:07Speaker 1: you so much for listenings. They're not even nice with
- 21:09Speaker 1: Garrett and Rob show. I've switched the order a production
