Speaker 2: If we talked about this common thread.
• 1:44
Speaker 3: If you're in business, you either grow or die that statement is very true.
• 1:46
Speaker 3: I've mentioned this to Eric a lot of times.
• 1:48
Speaker 3: Say you know, mark, if you could get with somebody that you trust as an installer that held weight to the design conversation and could help you save money from his eyeballs, why would you not want to do?
• 2:00
Speaker 1: that Absolutely, and that's a huge problem.
• 2:01
Speaker 1: Always, exactly, the designers aren't builders.
• 2:04
Speaker 1: They don't get out in the field enough.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: Some of these guys never even set foot on the site that they've designed.
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: That's a problem.
• 2:11
Speaker 1: The whole construction business is just.
• 2:13
Speaker 1: It's an ugly business and it need not be so ugly, that's what I believe.
• 2:19
Speaker 1: But, as you said it, you've got to have people you trust, and the general trust of the public for contractors and subcontractors is low, yep, unfortunately.
• 2:30
Speaker 1: I mean they just assume that you're bad yep as a yeah a consumer right.
• 2:38
Speaker 2: I'm scared to death of the con of the subcontractors not showing up.
• 2:42
Speaker 2: I mean, it's just like immediately it makes.
• 2:44
Speaker 2: It causes anxiety throughout a whole project.
• 2:46
Speaker 3: It absolutely does, and that's all about your network.
• 2:50
Speaker 3: Really do good by people and you'll have the good ones stand by you through the whole thing.
• 2:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, you've got to be a repeat buyer of these services, because the one-off client's not really what they all want, and then you can have that trust hopefully and you got to be a quick payer.
• 3:08
Speaker 1: Okay, that's the other way to get guys like sy over there to perform that's right yeah would you?
• 3:14
Speaker 2: advise that like I mean subconscious if they all kind of started changing and evolving into more business centric with branding, marketing.
• 3:21
Speaker 2: It would behoove the industry if they were doing that.
• 3:25
Speaker 3: Well, it's certainly going to help them, yeah yeah, because, well, it's going to get them into different conversations, it's going to get them to that ownership level.
• 3:35
Speaker 3: Hey, you did me a really great job on that tile, on this job right here across the road.
• 3:40
