- 0:11You're listening to the Hidden Lightness on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:15I'm your host, Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:17Well, we did it, folks, on Friday.
- 0:20Dow Jones hit an all-time record high at 50,000.
- 0:28And now Trump is predicting that it's going to reach 100,000 by the time he leaves office.
- 0:35He claims that he was right about everything.
- 0:39Well, this is a pretty big claim.
- 0:42And I want to dig a little bit deeper into what's going on with the stock market.
- 0:47And was Trump right about everything?
- 0:51Is that a good claim?
- 0:53Is a stock market going to crash?
- 0:55Is it going to keep going up?
- 0:58You know, people are always trying to figure it out.
- 1:01They're always trying to sell the top and buy the bottom.
- 1:05And if you remember, before President Trump took office, a lot of people were predicting, including economists, that the stock market was going to crash.
- 1:16And when he first took office, if you remember, it dropped by about 20%.
- 1:23And that's a time when, if you recall, you can go back and listen.
- 1:28I was saying I would buy, buy, buy.
- 1:32This is the time to buy.
- 1:35You buy when when people are panicking, the stock market's going down.
- 1:40That's definitely the time to buy.
- 1:43And uh not to use Trump's language, because I'm not right about everything, but I was certainly right about that.
- 1:53And you have to understand what President Trump is trying to do.
- 1:58And we're going to get into the nuts and bolts of that because he's not as erratic as he appears to be.
- 2:06And he's actually very smart when it comes to the economy.
- 2:12And he definitely says a lot of lies.
- 2:19Like we've raked in trillions of dollars in tariff revenue.
- 2:24That's simply not true.
- 2:26That's just 100% a falsehood.
- 2:31But I believe that he has a plan behind that.
- 2:33And I'm not saying that that's right.
- 2:35Don't get me wrong.
- 2:37I don't advocate for lying.
- 2:40But I think that if we look a little bit deeper, he has a pretty aggressive plan to pay off the national debt.
- 2:51And I truly believe that that's his goal.
- 2:55Now he won't come out and say that because he wants to maintain that element of surprise.
- 3:02He wants people to be shocked.
- 3:05He constantly does things that leaves people with their jaw on the floor.
- 3:10Like, are you serious?
- 3:14And not all of that is driven by his narcissism.
- 3:20I think he legitimately has a plan, especially when it comes to the economy.
- 3:25Now, I'm not standing behind that and saying that this is what I would do.
- 3:32Because I think it's a big big gamble.
- 3:35I mean a big gamble.
- 3:39But when you look at our debt, look at our national debt and how out of control it is.
- 4:02Now I'm going to take a much, much deeper look at this because we really have to put everything into context.
- 4:10And I'm looking now at the US debt clock.org.
- 4:16That's the uh it's it's the unpartisan, unbiased, nonpartisan website that shows it tracks the U.S.
- 4:27national debt in real time.
- 4:29And I'm finding something really interesting.
- 4:32I haven't looked at this in in probably a few months, but I'm finding something interesting.
- 4:36They used to have a doge clock.
- 4:39And it was the the amount of savings that uh that doge, the yeah, the department on uh I forget what it stands for, but the department on basically cutting uh waste out of the budget.
- 4:55They used to have a doge clock.
- 4:56The doge clock is gone, and I find that really fascinating.
- 5:03And in its place, they put a tariff revenue clock.
- 5:09And uh I'm looking at it now.
- 5:11We're looking at 373 billion dollars in tariff revenue, and it's going up really, really rapidly.
- 5:20And uh beside it, beside the tariff revenue clock, it has revenue per taxpayer.
- 5:31And you hear a lot about the the dividend checks.
- 5:35Trump says we're gonna cut a dividend check because we're just bringing in trillions of dollars in tariff revenue, but the the actual revenue per taxpayer is sitting at 3,000, about 3,200, a little over 32, almost 3300 per taxpayer.
- 5:56And uh that's kind of interesting because just about a month or two ago, it was well below 2,000.
- 6:05Economists were saying, well, there's he couldn't cut a $2,000 check if he wanted to, because the revenue is just not there.
- 6:13Well, now it is.
- 6:51He's a loser, he's you know, he's a dork wad.
- 6:55He's uh he needs to be gone.
- 6:59Uh Trump has him under criminal investigation, like he's doing everything in his power to shake Jerome Powell out of his position.
- 7:08And of course, we just had our latest rate decision, and the Federal Reserve decided to not lower interest rates.
- 7:19That didn't sit well with President Trump.
- 7:22In fact, that didn't sit well at all.
- 7:26He got, I I would I would argue almost to the point of being belligerent because we didn't lower interest rates, and you have to ask yourself why.
- 7:39Is it because he's he's just a narcissist?
- 7:41Is it because he's uh he's a hothead?
- 7:45What's the reason?
- 7:46Why is he so adamant that we have to lower the interest rates, that the Federal Reserve has to lower interest rates?
- 7:54Well, these are all things that we're gonna take a look at, and I want to explain why, as the dollar weakens, the stock market goes up.
- 8:05And that's also part of I believe Trump's plan.
- 8:10You weaken the dollar, the stock market screams in response to that in a good way.
- 8:18The stock market's doing really well.
- 8:20I believe it's gonna continue to perform really well so long as the dollar continues to weaken, and that's exactly what President Trump wants.
- 8:29He wants the dollar to weaken.
- 8:31The question is, why?
- 8:34Why is he pushing so hard for the dollar to weaken?
- 8:38And one of the ways, one of the big ways that you weaken the dollar is by having the Federal Reserve lower the interest rates.
- 8:46When you do that, the dollar by nature, it weakens.
- 8:51Well, lo and behold, I found an article that was just written a couple of weeks ago by Thomas Huckabee.
- 8:59And the title of the article is the Trump Administration Trying to Weaken the Dollar on Purpose.
- 9:08And I'll read just a little bit about this.
- 9:11Uh let's uh I'm gonna skip around a little bit, so bear with me here.
- 9:16Um let's see, Trump was interviewed about the dollar's weakness, and he views that as being positive, even if it even as it fell to its lowest level in four years against the basket of other major currencies.
- 9:34Trump told reporters, I think it's great.
- 9:38Look at the business we're doing.
- 9:40The dollar's doing great.
- 9:43The dollar's doing great.
- 9:45The dollar is in free fall.
- 9:47The dollar this week is uh it's already very weak.
- 9:54I believe it's gonna continue to weaken.
- 9:56I I trade um 4X for X.
- 10:00And exchange currencies.
- 10:02So I click I keep a close look at the dollar at what the dollar's doing because that determines what the other currencies are doing.
- 10:11And Trump is saying, well, the dollar's doing great.
- 10:15He doesn't mean the dollar is strong.
- 10:17What he means is the dollar's doing exactly what I want it to do.
- 10:23Thomas Huckabee goes on to say a weaker dollar isn't random.
- 10:28It's deliberate policy that can make exports cheaper, boost manufacturing, and improve trade competitiveness.
- 10:40But currencies run on confidence and political pressure or uncertainty can trigger rapid capital movement.
- 10:51Recent article in NPR titled Trump Thinks a Weaker Dollar is Great for America.
- 10:56Is he right?
- 10:59With nearly 40 trillion dollars, that's with a T of national debt.
- 11:11Again, like I said, this is a gamble.
- 11:16And I don't particularly like gambling.
- 11:20I like whenever we have certainty.
- 11:22I like when there's um some predictability.
- 11:26But I think President Trump gets bored with predictability.
- 11:30And he wants there to be unstability.
- 11:34And that's a little bit dangerous.
- 11:38But it also can be advantageous for America.
- 11:51While increased borrowing costs make debt service more expensive.
- 11:56A dangerous combination.
- 11:59The Instagram account study um study why the rich recently highlighted this double-edged reality.
- 12:16Foreign investment fight flight and combat compounding debt burdens.
- 12:24It's a strategic trade-off with significant consequences either way.
- 12:30All right, so those are kind of the dangers.
- 12:34As the dollar weakens, you you risk other countries not wanting to do business with America, or at least not wanting to invest in America.
- 12:46But there is an upside.
- 12:49Here's the upside.
- 12:52And this is according to Thomas Huckabee.
- 12:55Here's the payoff.
- 12:58He calls it the upside.
- 13:00Why weaken the dollar?
- 13:05Number one, it boosts American exports.
- 13:09A weaker dollar makes U.S.
- 13:11products cheaper and more competitive in foreign markets.
- 13:15We can export the living daylights out of things.
- 13:20Our products become very attractive to export.
- 13:26You know the whole made an America agenda?
- 13:29America first, made Amer made in America.
- 13:33That's not just for Americans to purchase American goods.
- 13:38President Trump wants other countries to purchase American goods.
- 13:42He wants to trade with other countries.
- 13:46Number two, it curbs foreign imports.
- 13:50At the same time that we want to export, we want to import less.
- 13:56Foreign goods become more expensive.
- 13:59And that encourages domestic purchasing and helping U.S.
- 14:03manufacturing.
- 14:04If you start to notice things that we used to buy from China that were dirt cheap, they're not so cheap anymore.
- 14:14It is driving inflation up.
- 14:18Temporarily, inflation is going up.
- 14:21Now you hear President Trump say, oh, inflation, the numbers are great.
- 14:24They're wonderful.
- 14:24It's the best that it's ever been.
- 14:27Well, you and I both know, as Americans, we feel the inflation.
- 14:33Inflation is not better since President Trump took office.
- 14:37It's worse.
- 14:39I just got a statement, for example.
- 14:42I got a statement for my um, it's the medical bill sharing that I uh that my wife and I participate in.
- 14:50We just had a 17% increase from December to January.
- 14:5717%.
- 15:00You want to talk about inflation, hyperinflation.
- 15:05Normal inflation is 3%.
- 15:08Two to three percent.
- 15:11We just got a 17% inflation on one bill.
- 15:14That's just one bill.
- 15:17Our electric has gone absolutely insane here in Pennsylvania.
- 15:24In fact, just do a search.
- 15:25I've not done this.
- 15:26Uh maybe I'll do it here while I'm talking to you.
- 15:30Here we go.
- 15:31I just looked it up.
- 15:32Pennsylvania electric rates are rising significantly in 2026.
- 15:38Following substantial hikes in 2025, they already went insanely high in 2025, with typical resident bills increasing by 10 to 20% due to surging capacity costs.
- 15:56We already had probably more than 20% raises in our electric bill in 2025.
- 16:02Now we have a 10 to 20% more surge in capacity cost.
- 16:10That's going to be passed on to the residents.
- 16:12It already is.
- 16:42Now the inflation is not going to be permanent.
- 16:46He's intentionally creating inflation.
- 16:49This is my theory.
- 17:03Well, we're coming up on a break.

- 19:42President Trump is predicting that the Dow is going to go to 100,000 by the time he leaves office.
- 19:51He claims that he was right about everything.
- 19:55Well, the question is is that really going to happen?
- 19:59And
- 20:00And uh, you know, and uh I'm not uh emotionally responsive here.
- 20:07You know, the reality is nobody really knows.
- 20:10I don't care what economists say, nobody knows.
- 20:13They can't predict the future.
- 20:15But what we can do is we can look at patterns, and we can take a deeper look at what we think President Trump is up to and what he's doing.
- 20:23He's been making a lot of very big claims, but he's also been pretty aggressive.
- 20:29He's been very aggressive against Federal Reserve Chair, Jerome Powell, talking about what a loser he is, and he needs to get rid of them.
- 20:39Uh, he put him under invest uh uh uh criminal investigation, which I think is absolutely absurd, and I think President Trump knows it.
- 20:50And he's trying to shake him out, and the question is why?
- 20:54What's he up to?
- 20:56And why does it matter for us?
- 21:00Well, there's an argument for President Trump weakening the dollar and doing that on purpose, and the dollar is weakening.
- 21:09It's it's weakened very substantially, and traditionally, as the dollar weakens, the stock market strengthens.
- 21:20And uh we have to look at the why.
- 21:23Why would he weaken the dollar?
- 21:25So this is an article that I started reading and kind of highlighting some points before the break here.
- 21:31It's by Thomas Huckabee, and the title of his article is Is the Trump Administration Trying to Weaken the Dollar on Purpose?
- 21:40It was written just a couple weeks ago, so this is very fresh.
- 21:45People have been talking about this for a long time.
- 21:48And I want to talk about why it's relevant for us.
- 21:53Well, the upside to weakening the dollar is this.
- 21:58Number one, it boosts American exports.
- 22:00We talked about this before the break.
- 22:02Number two, it curbs foreign imports.
- 22:06We have less imports coming into the country.
- 22:11Number three, it corrects currency overvaluation.
- 22:17The US dollar is considered overvalued against major currencies, such as the yen and the euro.
- 22:25And it corrects that overvaluation of the US dollar.
- 22:31All right, what's the downside?
- 22:32What are what are the risks?
- 22:35Number one, it scares away foreign investors.
- 22:40Perceived instability and attacks on the Federal Reserve can crack confidence, causing capital to flee out of the U.S.
- 22:50economy.
- 22:52Number two, it risks higher inflation and borrowing costs.
- 22:58A falling dollar can lead to rising prices and more expensive borrowing.
- 23:04Number three, it worsens the 40 trillion dollar US debt.
- 23:10Higher borrowing costs make managing the massive national debt even more difficult.
- 23:17And there's kind of a double-edged sword with that, because in the long run, it actually helps to pay down the national debt.
- 23:27When you have cheaper US dollars, and we'll get into the nuts and bolts of that too.
- 23:34Uh it it really temporarily increases the debt, and then it makes it easier to pay it off.
- 23:43The market signal.
- 23:44Um the authors study why they rich posts suggests that the dollar's recent decline due to multi-year lows and the muted government response indicate the intentional policy direction rather than an unwanted development.
- 24:02The calm acceptance signals that the dollar weakness may be a deliberate strategic choice with currency markets anticipating policy shifts before formal legislation is enacted.
- 24:17All right, again, why weaken the dollar?
- 24:23Why a weakened dollar matters.
- 24:27You have cheaper exports, and and you tend to gain if we can export much more, if we can increase the exports, that brings in more tariff revenue, that brings in um just more revenue altogether.
- 24:48It reduces the cost of U.S.
- 24:50goods for foreign buyers.
- 24:52It increases the demand.
- 24:54Lower prices for overseas customers can boost global demand for American products.
- 25:02And also the volume of exports typically increases more quickly than domestic production in response to a weaker dollar.
- 25:12You see, Trump knows, he knows all this.
- 25:15He's not a stupid guy.
- 25:18As we mentioned, the imports become more expensive.
- 25:22It drives businesses into the United States of America.
- 25:28And we're starting to see this.
- 25:30I've in fact I've done a couple shows on this.
- 25:32We're seeing an increase of the number of businesses who are saying, hey, we're going to invest trillions in the U.S.
- 25:38economy over the next five years.
- 25:41We have companies from overseas that are building plants here in the United States.
- 25:46They're moving their workforces to the United States of America.
- 25:51And this is not accidental.
- 25:56All right, it's not an accident that President Trump is doing this.
- 25:59He's not just doing this by the seat of his pants.
- 26:02And a lot of people want to think that he's doing that.
- 26:04A lot of reporters are reporting that.
- 26:06And they're like, what is he thinking?
- 26:08He's out of his mind.
- 26:08These tariffs are stupid, and he's a maniac.
- 26:12He's out of control.
- 26:14Congress needs to rein him in.
- 26:20Maybe there's some truth to that.
- 26:24But a lot of what he's doing theoretically is very, very intentional.
- 26:32And I've got to tell you, if the gamble pays off, it'll be a big, big, big win for America.
- 26:42Our national debt is absolutely out of control.
- 26:47It's it's unbelievable.
- 26:50It's impossible to pay it off right now.
- 26:53Unless something very dramatic changes, it's an impossibility to pay the national debt down.
- 27:01The interest alone is absolutely ballooning.
- 27:05It's reached a tipping point.
- 27:07Compound interest has turned into a freight train that's out of control.
- 27:14And we've got to get a grip on it.
- 27:17And it takes very, very drastic measures.
- 27:32And again, he claims that he was right about everything.
- 27:36Because of course, why not?
- 27:40President Trump said on Sunday that he was predicting the Dow Jones industrial average to reach 100,000 by the time he leaves the White House in January 2029.
- 27:50That means that the stock market would effectively double.
- 27:59That means your investments.
- 28:03If you have investments in the Dow Jones, they would effectively double in the next three years.
- 28:10This is a very big claim.
- 28:12But the question is, is it possible?
- 28:15Well, the answer is anything is possible.
- 28:19Will it actually happen?
- 28:21Nobody knows.
- 28:24But this is very, very interesting.
- 28:26As I mentioned, the Dow closed past 50,000 on Friday for the first time ever.
- 28:34Here's what Trump had to say.
- 28:36Record stock market and national security driven by our great tariffs.
- 28:43I'm predicting 100,000 on the Dow by the end of my term.
- 28:49He wrote that on Truth Social at the close of last week.
- 28:54He went on to say, in all capitals, of course, in very Trump style.
- 29:00Remember, Trump was right about everything.
- 29:04I hope the United States Supreme Court is watching.
- 29:09Again, very bold claims.
- 29:14And I really believe this is a gamble.
- 29:18And I can't believe I'm staying this, but the gamble is going to be worth it if it works.
- 29:26And that's a big if.
- 29:27Don't get me wrong.
- 29:29I'm not a fan of gambling.
- 29:30I don't think gambling is the right thing to do, not when it comes to the future of America.
- 29:37But we also have to realize that he's not a dumb person, that he does surround himself by the best economists.
- 29:48He's a businessman himself.
- 29:52He's very good at cutting deals with people.
- 29:56We know that to be true.
- 29:58We've seen a lot of deals that he's cut.
- 30:00With companies, with other countries.
- 30:05So this article, this is a Fox Business News article.
- 30:08It says the tariff costs were found to be largely absorbed by American consumers and businesses rather than by foreign exporters, according to economists.
- 30:21Hence the inflation.
- 30:25It's the inflation that I just mentioned.
- 30:27We can feel it.
- 30:27We know it.
- 30:29All of us, we feel major inflation.
- 30:34A study published last month by the Keel Institute for the World Economy found that about 96% of tariff costs were taken on by Americans.
- 30:51Trump had made an identical post on Friday night, as well as a separate post that also credits himself for the Dow's closing.
- 31:00Because, of course.
- 31:05You know, it's like I said, the narcissism is uh it's on full display here.
- 31:12There is no question that he has narcissistic tendencies at least.
- 31:20I mean, he thinks a lot of himself.
- 31:25But as crazy it is as crazy as it is.
- 31:29He's also not random.
- 31:31He knows what he's doing.
- 31:33He has a plan.
- 31:37Um he wrote this.
- 31:42The experts said, he put in in quotes, the experts and quotes.
- 31:47The experts said that if I hit 50,000 on the Dow by the end of my term, I would have done a great job.
- 31:55But I hit 50,000 today, three years ahead of schedule.
- 32:00Remember that for the midterms because Democrats will crash the economy.
- 32:06He wrote that just on Friday.
- 32:10He definitely excuse me, he definitely likes the drama.
- 32:16He likes to crank up the drama.
- 32:21But the question is, is he right?
- 32:24Is he actually right?
- 32:26Is this a good move?
- 32:30And I would argue that yes, a weaker dollar can help pay off the outstanding debt.
- 32:38But the mechanism is it's indirect, and it depends heavily on the type of debt.
- 32:46So man, it I'm telling you this is such a gamble.
- 32:53It's possible to aggressively pay down the national debt.
- 33:00Many economists' strategists argue that it's very likely that a weaker dollar is part of a strategy to manage the national debt.
- 33:10Politicians, including President Trump, rarely say, hey, we you know, we want to weaken the dollar to default on our debts because it panics the markets, right?
- 33:23They're not going to come out and say that.
- 33:27But they do at the same time advocate for a weaker dollar to boost exports or to bring back manufacturing.
- 33:37And the convenient side of that policy is that it does help wash away the national debt.
- 33:47So how does that exactly work?
- 33:50The economists call it financial repression.
- 33:54It's a way to pay off massive government debt without actually cutting spending or raising taxes.
- 34:01Both of those are very politically unpopular.
- 34:06Nobody wants to pay more taxes, none of us do.
- 34:11But you also don't want to cut too much spending.
- 34:14Look at what happened with Doge.
- 34:16I mean, the world was outraged.
- 34:20There were even conservatives that were outraged.
- 34:24Heck, I mentioned things that I thought were terrible.
- 34:29You know, they cut um aid to people with AIDS and different debilitating diseases.
- 34:38They cut medication, they cut food to countries that absolutely 100% depend on it.
- 34:45And I don't think what Doge did was all good.
- 34:49I just don't.
- 34:52So the strategy of weakening the dollar, it allows us to continue to sp to spend at the current rate.
- 34:59But it also allows us to do that without raising taxes.
- 35:05So the government owes, you know, it's a good what, 38 trillion dollars.
- 35:11And that's fixed in nominal dollars.
- 35:16So for example, if the government hypothetically, if the government owes a hundred dollars, and it intentionally makes the dollar worth less, so that that 100 only buys 80% or sorry, 80 dollars worth of goods.
- 35:34It has effectively defaulted on 20% of the debt without technically breaking a contract.
- 35:43So Trump is historically viewed a strong dollar as a disadvantage for U.S.
- 35:48manufacturers.
- 35:51It makes our cars and our steel more expensive abroad.
- 35:57And he's constantly pushing for a weaker dollar, and that achieves two goals.
- 36:03Number one, it makes U.S.
- 36:05exports cheaper, helping close the trade deficit that we have.
- 36:13And it increases inflation.
- 36:15Now, you'd you're like, why would Trump want to increase inflation?
- 36:20Because what that does is it erodes the real value of the national debt.
- 36:26And that inflation is meant to be temporary.
- 36:31Now, Trump, again, he's no dummy.
- 36:36He's gonna keep saying he's gonna keep repeating the lie often enough that oh, you know, inflation is the best that it's ever been.
- 36:44He knows that's not true.
- 36:47But if you repeat something enough times, people eventually begin to believe it.
- 36:54And again, it's a big gamble, so temporarily increasing inflation to pay off the national debt.
- 37:02It may just be no pun intended, the Trump card that America needs right now.
- 37:09We'll find out.
- 37:12But boy oh boy, is he playing with fire?
- 37:15Well, we're coming up on another break here.
- 37:18After the break, we're gonna talk about what you and I can do because that's the most important thing.
- 37:23The reality is inflation is going up.
- 37:25Whether we like it or not, we can cry, we can protest, we can scream, we can shout, we can yell.
- 37:31We can do all of that.
- 37:34And that's not gonna do one darn thing to lower inflation.
- 37:40So what can we, the American people, do about our own personal inflation?
- 37:46More about that after the break.

- 39:25A man's country is not a certain area of land of mountains, rivers, and woods.
- 39:31But it is a principle.
- 39:33And patriotism is loyal to that principle.
- 39:36I'm happy to report that American patriotism flows freely once again.
- 39:44America outloud.
- 39:52To the outlook.
- 40:00President Trump claims he was right about everything.
- 40:04And that the Dow Jones will reach 100,000 by the time he's done with his third or sec, sorry, second term in the next three years.
- 40:14So the question is, is it possible for the Dow Jones to climb by 50%?
- 40:22Is it possible for the Dow Jones to reach 100,000?
- 40:28It just reached an all-time high on Friday of last week.
- 40:32Can it go up?
- 40:34Will it go up?
- 40:36Of course, the answer to that is nobody knows if we're being honest.
- 40:40Nobody knows.
- 40:42It could go into a big correction.
- 40:44Anything could happen.
- 40:46A war could start at any time.
- 40:47I mean, there are a lot of different factors.
- 40:49We just don't know.
- 40:52And that's kind of the point for this part of the podcast is that we tend to try to control the things that we have no control over.
- 41:02For example, the Super Bowl.
- 41:05How many people got outraged on both sides of the aisle?
- 41:12Both the political right and the political left.
- 41:16They got absolutely outraged at the halftime show.
- 41:22I watched the Super Bowl.
- 41:24I watched the halftime show.
- 41:26I typically don't, I don't even watch Super Bowl because I just I don't care.
- 41:30The only reason I was watching is because I have a son who was interested, and he turned it on, so it was kind of in the background.
- 41:39But I I saw the entire Super Bowl.
- 41:43I saw the halftime show.
- 41:46I didn't like it.
- 41:47It wasn't definitely not my style.
- 41:52But I read some of the things that people were writing about bad bunny, and it's just the worst, and it's terrible, and America needs to go on strike, and like people just absolutely outraged and just spending so much time writing about the halftime show that literally lasted a few minutes.
- 42:15I've seen a lot worse.
- 42:18You know, uh the President Trump put a big long post about it.
- 42:23I didn't, you couldn't understand one word he was saying.
- 42:26Well, that's because he was speaking in Spanish.
- 42:31If you speak Spanish, you would understand what he was saying.
- 42:36You know, but people, they were just it's like this manufactured outrage over something that we have no control over.
- 42:45And quite frankly, didn't affect my personal life one little bit.
- 42:52After the halftime, my my family didn't melt down, we didn't disappear, we didn't uh, you know.
- 43:00We weren't we weren't forced into hiding.
- 43:03It literally had zero impact on my life whatsoever.
- 43:10And I will almost guarantee that that's the case for virtually every single American.
- 43:18It literally had zero impact on your life.
- 43:24None whatsoever.
- 43:27And yet people tend to get outraged about the things that we have no control over.
- 43:34That's where people spend their most time.
- 43:36That's where the blood vessels pop out of their forehead, they get so angry, and well, we need justice.
- 43:44Here's the justice.
- 43:48And you know, it works quite well for me.
- 43:52You don't like bad bunny?
- 43:56Don't listen to him.
- 43:58Don't consume his music.
- 44:01It's as simple as that.
- 44:05I'm not a Swifty, I don't consume Taylor Swift's music because I just I don't care for her style.
- 44:14Um not a fan.
- 44:19She has zero impact on my life, and yet Americans get outraged, just so angry.
- 44:27Did you hear that she said blah blah blah?
- 44:31Like, oh no, I didn't, and I don't care.
- 44:36I don't care what she said.
- 44:38It's irrelevant.
- 44:42But yet a lot of Americans they're not capable of making that separation and realizing that none of these people really matter.
- 44:51Did you hear that Jim Carrey whatever it was?
- 44:54No, I didn't, and I don't care.
- 45:00Jim Carrey or whoever else has the same freedoms that we all have to be able to say what we want, to express your opinion.
- 45:09Jim Carrey can draw all the paintings that he wants of President Trump, all the caricatures.
- 45:15He's free to do that.
- 45:19Doesn't affect my life.
- 45:23You know, it it doesn't affect really anybody's life.
- 45:29Who cares what he draws, what he says?
- 45:33And on and on it goes, you know, pick a person.
- 45:37It really doesn't matter.
- 45:39Did you hear then, you know, with politicians?
- 45:42Did you hear that so-and-so said whatever?
- 45:47Nope.
- 45:48And even if I did, it wouldn't change one single iota of a way that I treat my family, the amount of time that I spend with my kids.
- 46:01It's not worthy of a dinner conversation.
- 46:04We don't talk about what the latest entertainer said or did.
- 46:10You know, we don't talk about those things over dinner.
- 46:12Instead, we talk about how our days were.
- 46:16What happened in your day?
- 46:18How are you coping?
- 46:20How are you, how are you getting along?
- 46:24And I think we need to learn to separate these kinds of things.
- 46:27And when it comes to the the national debt, all right, because this is a pretty big deal, and it does affect Americans definitely to a point.
- 46:39Yeah, the average debt uh per American is something like six, you know, it's a little over six thousand dollars that we all owe.
- 46:48I mean, men, women, and children.
- 46:53We all owe a a very hefty debt.
- 46:57And it's increasing every single day.
- 47:00So to me, these are the issues that matter, and we're not gonna change the national debt by barking about how bad Orange Man is, right?
- 47:10We're or Biden or whoever.
- 47:15That's not gonna change the national debt by one single penny.
- 47:22What we do, what we say on social media, it's gonna have exactly zero impact on the national debt, even with our own personal debt.
- 47:36Uh, with inflation, with the high utility bills.
- 47:41We can complain on social media all day long about it, but it's not gonna change the fact that all of our utilities are going up.
- 47:50They just are.
- 47:53And as long as the dollar weakens, they're gonna continue to go up.
- 47:59That it's we're not gonna stop it.
- 48:01So the question is, what do we do about it?
- 48:04What influence do we have, and where should we spend our time?
- 48:09Where do we spend our time and our energy?
- 48:13What do we focus on?
- 48:16And that's why I talk a lot about our personal debt and our personal budget.
- 48:22That we actually do have control over.
- 48:26We have a lot of control over our own personal finances, and yet that's the one area where most Americans don't put a lot of their focus.
- 48:38They're so worried about other people, they're worried about the other millionaires.
- 48:42The left has certainly gone out of their way to get people brainwashed to thinking that it really matters whether other people are wealthy or not.
- 48:51Those oligarchs, you know, boy Boiney Sanders going on his oligarchy tour.
- 48:59Who cares how much money other people make?
- 49:03I'm not worried one little bit about how much or how little somebody else makes.
- 49:11Except that when somebody makes too little and they're unemployed or they're homeless or whatever, then it's our job, it's our duty to step in and help them.
- 49:24That's when I worry about it.
- 49:27But when it comes to wealth, I don't I don't care if you're a billionaire and you live in the the house across the street from me.
- 49:36That does not affect my life one little bit.
- 49:40I'm not jealous, I don't care.
- 49:46And that's where Americans need to focus on themselves.
- 49:50We need to focus on our own personal finances and get our own houses in order because life is getting harder, and that's just.
- 50:00A fact.
- 50:02As far as it relates to inflation.
- 50:07But there's kind of this counterbalance where as inflation goes up, the irony is that so does the stock market.
- 50:16And so the question is are we investing and putting our dollars to work?
- 50:23Or are we getting farther and farther and farther behind?
- 50:30You see, I think all this stuff is one big fat distraction.
- 50:36This manufactured outrage about the wealthy people.
- 50:40I'm looking at the U.S.
- 50:41debt clock.org.
- 50:45There's just over 24 million millionaires in the United States.
- 50:52It's not a whole lot.
- 50:54It's not a significant portion of our population.
- 51:00That number's increasing by the day, but a millionaire used to be, you're like, wow, if you're a millionaire, you're doing really well.
- 51:08Now a millionaire is like it's it's the new triple digits.
- 51:15You know, because of inflation, it's not all that impressive if you're a millionaire.
- 51:23The average American thinks that they need one point, about 1.5 million dollars whenever they retire just to be able to make it.
- 51:31Yet the median amount that people have in their in their retirement accounts tops out at 200,000.
- 51:43The highest median retirement savings falls within the age bracket of 65 to 74.
- 51:53And it's only 200,000.
- 51:58And so are we getting distracted by all the outrage, the manufactured outrage, getting angry at all these millionaires.
- 52:08They're ripping us off, and these CEOs.
- 52:11Who cares what a CEO is making at any company?
- 52:18I don't even want to know.
- 52:20Because I just don't care.
- 52:25We've got to get control of our own finances.
- 52:30We have so much control over that.
- 52:34And yep, I really believe the media and politicians, they want us to focus on things that we have zero control over because it becomes a big distraction.
- 52:44And it keeps people dependent.
- 52:46People have to work until they're 107 years old just to be able to scrape by.
- 52:52And they get that tax revenue.
- 52:56You know, it's like this indefinite tax revenue that the government gets.
- 53:14Yeah, I'd I'd much rather retire early.
- 53:17I'd much rather position my kids in a place where they're financially financially stable, and that's getting harder and harder to do.
- 53:37Just five years ago.
- 53:40The average age that first-time homebuyers were buying a home is 33.
- 53:45It's increased by seven years.
- 53:49And a lot of people, a lot of young people believe that they'll never be able to afford a home.
- 53:55The cost of living has skyrocketed.
- 54:00Wages have not kept up with inflation.
- 54:02And so the question is are we out here, you know, just this for Super Bowl?
- 54:08Right?
- 54:09Are we out here holding signs because Bad Bunny sang a song during the halftime show?
- 54:15Or are we getting our own house in order?
- 54:17Are we setting our kids up for financial success?
- 54:22What I see is as the stock market climbs and climbs and climbs.
- 54:28I want to consistently put into it.
- 54:31Both for my my wife and I and for my kids.
- 54:36Those are things that I do have control over.
- 54:40And I think every American needs to put themselves in that position because all this manufactured outrage, it literally is wiping families out.
- 54:50It's wiping them out financially.
- 54:52The average cost of a car payment now is over $700.
- 54:58That's all inflation.
- 55:03And you know, are are we?
- 55:06Are we digging a hole that's so deep that we can never get out of?
- 55:11Where are we saying, you know, Trump's bragging about the economy?
- 55:15He's bragging about how great the stock market is.
- 55:18Like he's running his mouth just like I was right about everything.
- 55:22Are we gonna spend our time being worried about that and like wringing our hands about how arrogant he is and how prideful he is?
- 55:29Are we gonna do that, or are we gonna take control of what we can actually take control of?
- 55:33I choose to do the latter.
- 55:36President Trump can say what he wants to say about the economy.
- 55:40You know, I tend to listen because I do think that he has a plan.
- 55:47Now you may not like the plan, but I think he's being very strategic.
- 55:53I think that my opinion here, I think that he's intentionally weakening the dollar, which is going to drive the stock market up.
- 56:03Then there's going to be a big correction during the next presidency.
- 56:09The question is, are you prepared for that?
- 56:13You know, everything that we do, we need to be listening and taking these bits of information because they're out there.
- 56:20And instead of getting all emotional about them, we need to take them for what they are and start making a plan.
- 56:28So I choose to make a plan, and uh, I'll use this as the time again.
- 56:33I'll I'll uh plug my book just because um this is what it's all about.
- 56:38You know, the the book is tithing your time and treasure.
- 56:43And it's a biblical guide to uh to managing your your assets, your personal assets.
- 56:51You can check it out on the bookstore at AmericaOutloud.news.
- 56:55And uh I I really genuinely pray that it helps you.
- 56:59I I want people to get control of their own personal budgets because if we just sit here and twiddle our thumbs, uh, we're gonna be in deep, deep trouble pretty quickly.
- 57:10And we don't want that for Americans.
- 57:12The future is very, very bright.
- 57:14We just have to grab a hold of it.
- 57:16You can find more out about my show and get all the latest podcasts if you go to the menu navigation bar at AmericaOutloud.news under our shows or schedule.

- 57:32Remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:37Join me in being a light.
