- 1:44Speaker 6: I like this young man because when he came out,
- 1:46Speaker 6: he came out with the phrase he went from ashy
- 1:49Speaker 6: to classy.
- 1:51Speaker 7: I like that.
- 1:51Speaker 6: Give it up for him, y'all.

- 2:17Speaker 1: Joshua Umahi.
- 2:23Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:37Speaker 4: What's the phrase? Dog eat dog society? It might be
- 2:39Speaker 4: a scammer gets scammed society. Even with that being said,
- 2:43Speaker 4: never in my wildest dream, a man could dress up
- 2:46Speaker 4: as a football player.
- 2:48Speaker 2: Headband, helmet, workouts on the beach.
- 2:51Speaker 4: Never thought that somebody could dress up as an NFL
- 2:53Speaker 4: player and not only actually fool people in convincing that
- 2:57Speaker 4: he was an NFL player, but in fact, scam multiple women.
- 3:01Speaker 4: And I'm not talking, when I say multiple, I am
- 3:04Speaker 4: not talking two women. 4, 7, 10, 20 even. I'm
- 3:11Speaker 4: talking upwards of 25 women out of 1.3 million American dollars.
- 3:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:19Speaker 4: The wide deceiver scandal. So what exactly happened here? Dajon Love,
- 3:28Speaker 4: 35 years old, arrested with co-conspirator Taylor Jamie Chan, who's
- 3:32Speaker 4: 18 years old. Damn, kid, life ain't even start for
- 3:35Speaker 4: you yet, bro. have been arrested for conspiracy to commit
- 3:38Speaker 4: wire fraud and wire fraud.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Scamming is wrong, right? I fully acknowledge that.
- 3:46Speaker 4: But I will say, have you ever met anybody more
- 3:49Speaker 4: resourceful and more idea-driven.
- 3:52Speaker 2: More creative? than a scammer?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yo, they come up with the most elaborate schemes, well-detailed.
- 3:59Speaker 4: They run their scams like a well-oiled machine, I gotta say.
- 4:02Speaker 4: It's like, scamming is bad, right? You said scamming is bad?
- 4:05Speaker 4: It's abhorrent, yeah.
- 4:07Speaker 8: You could have had me fooled with how Young Miami's almost, like,
- 4:11Speaker 8: trending for, like, a good minute with all my scamming.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Spend that money fast.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Just where y'all at go in that go yard bag
- 4:23Speaker 3: spin it he was living up to the words of
- 4:26Speaker 3: those songs i believe i love making those so much
- 4:36Speaker 3: yo we be in our bag a little I love
- 4:42Speaker 3: hearing them back.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Mike.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:46Speaker 7: Try again.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I love hearing them back.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Nah, listen, we be in our little Goyard bag, you
- 4:51Speaker 4: feel me? The recess bell on air is back on
- 4:57Speaker 4: your airways, just pulsating off your eardrums.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Don't resist it. Let it in. Let us in. Yeah.
- 5:06Speaker 2: The Recess Belt and Network for Creators.
- 5:08Speaker 4: We are here on the voice of Nassau Community College 90.3 WHPC.
- 5:12Speaker 4: It is Joshua Umahi, your host this evening. I'm joined
- 5:17Speaker 4: by Nikki Marie. I'm joined by Corey.
- 5:21Speaker 9: Smooth with it.
- 5:22Speaker 2: And I'm joined by Leigh the Beauty.
- 5:28Speaker 9: I wasn't sure how you were going to say how
- 5:30Speaker 9: we're going to work with this.
- 5:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 4: I keep trying to tell y'all I'm a poet. Listen,
- 5:36Speaker 4: I just got to get, you know, back active. I'm
- 5:38Speaker 4: a little rusty, but I'm going to get back.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I promise.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I don't know why.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I just wanted to do the fun fact. These bars
- 5:43Speaker 2: right here. These bars.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 2: You know nothing about that, New York City.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Drop a bomb.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Yeah, this is real music right here.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:56Speaker 9: Oh, I love it here.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yes.
- 6:00Speaker 9: I missed you guys. I miss you too I ain't
- 6:05Speaker 9: coming back after this.
- 6:07Speaker 4: No it's crazy we actually have a lawyer ready to
- 6:11Speaker 4: come to your door and drop a contract off.
- 6:13Speaker 8: To you Josh ready to sign you to a 360
- 6:19Speaker 8: in the spirit of Gen Z millennial he trying to
- 6:22Speaker 8: get you a 90s 360 like TLC a 90s 360
- 6:22Speaker 8: deal is super nasty that's super super nasty.
- 6:32Speaker 2: That's nasty.
- 6:33Speaker 9: I might have to talk about that on 90s Now.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yes, there you go. And when does that show come on, Nikki?
- 6:38Speaker 9: On Saturdays, 3 to 4, right here.
- 6:42Speaker 1: 90.3.
- 6:42Speaker 8: You talk about stress. I know TLC was stressed when
- 6:44Speaker 8: they found out they only got a car. And that
- 6:46Speaker 8: was basically it.
- 6:50Speaker 9: You know, it's something I can relate to. When we
- 6:52Speaker 9: get there, I guess I'll talk about my stressors.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Well, again, I just want to reemphasize now everybody listening,
- 6:59Speaker 4: just to reemphasize the theme for tonight's show. It is stress,
- 7:02Speaker 4: stress management, stress relief, encountering stress. Now, my message here
- 7:08Speaker 4: to the co-hosts in the room, I don't want anybody to,
- 7:11Speaker 4: you know, say and talk about anything that's, you know,
- 7:14Speaker 4: too worrisome or too burdensome unless you really got to
- 7:17Speaker 4: get it off your chest.
- 7:18Speaker 2: You feel me?
- 7:19Speaker 9: Oh, this is a moment of therapy.
- 7:21Speaker 4: That's what I like to hear. You know, when I'm
- 7:25Speaker 4: in this host chair, I really do feel like a
- 7:27Speaker 4: junior therapist.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Because I really do. I really try to help people
- 7:30Speaker 2: do their stuff in unconventional ways. But yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Well, Dr. Umahi, let's talk about it.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Come sit on this couch and kick your legs up.
- 7:40Speaker 2: It's a box of tissue. Don't talk about it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Pass the Kleenex on down.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Feel me? We got eye drops for you. If your
- 7:48Speaker 4: eye is too red when you leave the room, it
- 7:50Speaker 4: don't get you right.
- 7:51Speaker 9: Yeah, man. Don't get you right tonight.
- 7:55Speaker 4: I thought about that too. Like I, there was a
- 7:57Speaker 4: point in time when choosing my next college. I was, uh,
- 7:59Speaker 4: cause I am still a student, everybody. Uh, I was
- 8:02Speaker 4: thinking about, Hmm, maybe, you know, I should just go
- 8:04Speaker 4: all in with mental health and, you know, therapizing that
- 8:07Speaker 4: that's not a word, but no, there's just.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Maybe, maybe Dr. Umahi might be in the works. You
- 8:13Speaker 2: feel me? It still might happen. You never know.
- 8:16Speaker 9: You just don't really don't never know.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Listen, you might give me like, give me like 15 years.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Gonna be a big old a big old sign dr
- 8:26Speaker 4: umahi's room come in it's gonna be like this though
- 8:29Speaker 4: it's not gonna be like a regular therapy session i'm
- 8:31Speaker 4: gonna be over here cracking jokes yeah we're gonna have
- 8:34Speaker 4: my uh my my soundboard pressing the buzzers and stuff
- 8:38Speaker 4: yeah we're gonna make it an engaging that's so funny
- 8:40Speaker 4: yeah it's gonna be a different type of therapy and
- 8:43Speaker 4: and i'll i'll be able to say it all started
- 8:46Speaker 4: here right absolutely yep yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I listen Life is so wonderful.
- 8:52Speaker 4: What I've realized as we'll get into our stress conversation
- 8:56Speaker 4: in a little bit, what I've realized is that life
- 9:01Speaker 4: is just, it's just so calm and so beautiful. And
- 9:05Speaker 4: you know, while life might be stressful, you feel me?
- 9:08Speaker 4: I really do feel like it's incumbent upon us all. Now, again,
- 9:13Speaker 4: y'all should know when I start pulling out them big words,
- 9:16Speaker 4: I'm about to get in my bag a little bit, right?
- 9:19Speaker 4: So I think it's incumbent upon everybody to enjoy the
- 9:24Speaker 4: finer things in life. Listen, while we might have the
- 9:28Speaker 4: politicians don't know what they're doing, everybody, it's all divide
- 9:31Speaker 4: and conquer.
- 9:32Speaker 2: They don't want us to be together. They want us
- 9:33Speaker 2: to be bickering. Left.
- 9:36Speaker 6: Right.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I totally want.
- 9:38Speaker 8: Right.
- 9:38Speaker 2: But we need to stick together.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Amen.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Stress cannot take us down.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Amen.
- 9:44Speaker 3: You know what?
- 9:44Speaker 2: You could be a pastor too. Hallelujah.
- 9:47Speaker 9: Pastor Umahi, Dr.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Umahi.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Stress is an agent of the devil and the devil
- 9:51Speaker 2: cannot keep us down. Can I get an amen?
- 9:53Speaker 9: Amen.
- 9:54Speaker 2: That's all I'm trying to say.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yo.
- 10:02Speaker 2: To say, man. That's all I'm trying to say, right? Oh, man.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Before we get to our stress conversation, we need to
- 10:08Speaker 4: get to this news report. It's only one major topic
- 10:11Speaker 4: I want to get to tonight, but it's an important topic.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Like we said at the start of the show during
- 10:16Speaker 4: our intro there, As we are on a college campus,
- 10:19Speaker 4: I find it, here's my word again, incumbent upon us
- 10:24Speaker 4: all to really discuss some of the dangers and the
- 10:26Speaker 4: troublesome things that can happen on college campuses.
- 10:29Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 10:30Speaker 4: Like I've watched TV shows like Law and Order where
- 10:34Speaker 4: you see a lot of this. There was one show
- 10:37Speaker 4: on Hulu that I got into for some reason. It
- 10:39Speaker 4: was called Tell Me Lies. And it was about life
- 10:42Speaker 4: on college campuses. this college campus. And it was the
- 10:46Speaker 4: most toxic. Oh my goodness.
- 10:49Speaker 2: And there's one thing I want to really tackle.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Now, anybody that knows me off the airwaves, because I
- 10:54Speaker 4: don't really talk about it much on the airwaves. I've
- 10:59Speaker 4: never understood. Now, maybe people can check me because I
- 11:02Speaker 4: know this is a passionate topic for some, if not most.
- 11:06Speaker 4: But I've never really understood the importance of fraternities and
- 11:13Speaker 4: sororities i'm not gonna hold you.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I've never really i've never looked.
- 11:20Speaker 4: At any type of college deal in my life and
- 11:23Speaker 4: been like you know what it's phi kappa theta or
- 11:25Speaker 4: whatever i need to join that now like no i'm
- 11:29Speaker 4: my own man i don't need to invest myself in
- 11:33Speaker 4: the group. Now, I don't want to sound judgmental because
- 11:35Speaker 4: I'm already getting some eyes in the room.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Do you feel me?
- 11:38Speaker 4: I know it's a very sensitive and passionate topic. Sororities, fraternities, sisterhood, brotherhood.
- 11:43Speaker 4: It's just not for me. And while it's not a
- 11:46Speaker 4: thing with all fraternities and sororities, like we're about to
- 11:50Speaker 4: talk about, some real nasty things can go down if somebody's...
- 11:53Speaker 4: Let's single out frats for.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Now because that is a subject of our news report
- 11:58Speaker 2: this evening.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Sounds like a lot of.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It sounds like a lot of.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Hoopla!
- 12:06Speaker 2: Sounds like a... Hoopla!
- 12:10Speaker 7: Hoopla! This is the Recess Bell's News Report, brought to
- 12:16Speaker 7: you by the Recess Bell LLC, the network for creatives.
- 12:20Speaker 7: The voices you are about to hear are not those
- 12:21Speaker 7: of official political analysts, rather just football sitting in a
- 12:23Speaker 7: room discussing politics just like you would at the family
- 12:24Speaker 7: table with your friends. Please do not hold the voices
- 12:25Speaker 7: you are about to hear to the same standard as
- 12:27Speaker 7: would official commentators and contributors on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News,
- 12:29Speaker 7: or any other licensed news company.
- 12:35Speaker 4: As always, if you missed that disclaimer, if you happen
- 12:38Speaker 4: to hear this news report, Joshua Imahi and my friends,
- 12:41Speaker 4: four goofballs in a room discussing the matters of the world.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Don't take your complaints to us. I don't have the
- 12:47Speaker 4: time for it. I take your complaints, if you must,
- 12:50Speaker 4: to this email address. WHPC at NCC dot edu, our
- 12:55Speaker 4: dedicated station director. He loves to talk and address complaints,
- 12:59Speaker 4: as we saw by the recent staff meeting. Right. If
- 13:02Speaker 4: you must, take a complaint to him, whpc at ncc.edu.
- 13:07Speaker 4: He will handle all of your complaints on our behalf.
- 13:10Speaker 4: I promise you can hold us accountable through that avenue.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Copy? Copy.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Let's get to it. Your news anchor, Joshua Imahi. This evening,
- 13:36Speaker 4: we go to Cornell University. The Cornell seven. You might
- 13:42Speaker 4: have heard that phrase over the past week because a
- 13:45Speaker 4: civil lawsuit was filed in the case of a Jane
- 13:48Speaker 4: Doe reporting a rape that she suffered to seven brothers
- 13:55Speaker 4: of a Cornell fraternity. I'm not going to try to
- 13:59Speaker 4: sum it up. Let's turn to an official news station
- 14:02Speaker 4: for the report.
- 14:03Speaker 10: A woman identified only as Jane Doe says in the
- 14:06Speaker 10: early morning hours in October 2024, seven male students at
- 14:10Speaker 10: a Cornell University frat house were in the room at
- 14:13Speaker 10: various times over several hours as she alleges she was
- 14:17Speaker 10: pressured to take drugs and was repeatedly raped, according to
- 14:20Speaker 10: a recently filed civil lawsuit. No one was charged with
- 14:24Speaker 10: a crime. Now, the Tompkins County District Attorney says he
- 14:27Speaker 10: has reopened the investigations. The district attorney cited a sworn
- 14:31Speaker 10: statement made by Jane Doe just after the October 2024 incident,
- 14:36Speaker 10: saying she made no allegations of being drugged against her
- 14:40Speaker 10: will or gang raped and described her drug abuse and
- 14:43Speaker 10: sexual conduct as voluntary, conscious and consensual. Is that common
- 14:48Speaker 10: that victims remember something more clearly later that was a crime?
- 14:53Speaker 2: Definitely. We all process information differently. We all process trauma differently.
- 14:58Speaker 10: In a statement to CBS News, Jane Doe's attorney claims
- 15:01Speaker 10: that immediately after the assault, she was traumatized, numb, and
- 15:05Speaker 10: unable to function or accept the horror of what had happened.
- 15:09Speaker 10: Once she was emotionally ready, she went to the university
- 15:11Speaker 10: police and bravely shared what had occurred to her. The
- 15:15Speaker 10: university said it conducted a thorough Title IX internal investigation,
- 15:19Speaker 10: but her attorney says that once she came forward, there
- 15:22Speaker 10: was one interview with a campus police officer who took
- 15:25Speaker 10: the report and no follow-up.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Ah, great job.
- 15:29Speaker 6: Outstanding.
- 15:31Speaker 2: No follow-up.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Now, one thing that was not mentioned in this report here. Now,
- 15:37Speaker 4: these Cornell 7, they had a whole group chat with
- 15:40Speaker 4: their fraternity.
- 15:43Speaker 2: Kai Phi.
- 15:44Speaker 4: Now, it's spelled C-H-I space P-H-I, but it's Kai Phi.
- 15:49Speaker 2: That's how it's pronounced. They had a group chat.
- 15:53Speaker 4: And the message when this young woman arrived to the
- 15:56Speaker 4: fraternity to alert the fraternity brothers that The woman was there.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Was I can't say the exact quote. Free P word.
- 16:08Speaker 4: Yeah, they sent a chat to over 50 people in
- 16:10Speaker 4: this group chat when a woman pulled up to the
- 16:12Speaker 4: frat and drugs and ketamine and alcohol was involved. Free
- 16:19Speaker 4: P word to alert all the brothers that there the
- 16:24Speaker 4: woman had arrived. Now we'll see how the case plays out.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Once again, the criminal charges have been refiled and are
- 16:30Speaker 4: being looked at by the district attorney.
- 16:32Speaker 2: But this is a terrible story right here. I just
- 16:35Speaker 2: want to.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Emphasize that before we discuss it. The main thing I
- 16:40Speaker 4: want to talk about, I'm not going to get into
- 16:41Speaker 4: my whole thing with frats. I do think it's dangerous
- 16:44Speaker 4: in the age of like group chats, right? And mob
- 16:47Speaker 4: mentality when it comes to college campuses. You know how
- 16:51Speaker 4: far you have to, I'm not even joking when I
- 16:52Speaker 4: say this, you know how far you have to stray
- 16:54Speaker 4: away from God's light just casually send oh she just
- 16:58Speaker 4: pulled up free p free p that's insane to me
- 17:02Speaker 4: yeah so i feel like this is just another case
- 17:04Speaker 4: of the normalization of cruelty that we're seeing because you
- 17:08Speaker 4: don't get to that place without a long build up
- 17:10Speaker 4: and other incidents that we don't even know about allegedly
- 17:13Speaker 4: and probably likely in all likelihood to lead up to
- 17:17Speaker 4: this it's just uh it's just a shame have y'all
- 17:19Speaker 4: heard about the corner seven like the news or social
- 17:21Speaker 4: media TikTok or something?
- 17:23Speaker 9: I've just been hearing that... What's her name from The View?
- 17:27Speaker 2: Sunny? Sunny Liston. That she's saying... Sunny Liston. Jesus Christ.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I just brought up the prize fight boxes. Sunny Hostin.
- 17:37Speaker 2: Not Sunny Liston.
- 17:38Speaker 9: That she's saying that everyone is publicly addressing this, but
- 17:43Speaker 9: it's being said... Like, things are being told, I guess,
- 17:48Speaker 9: from different perspectives or different lenses... Something she said in
- 17:52Speaker 9: 2024 to now something that's being filed in 2026.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Now, Sonny has said she now she's a former sex
- 17:59Speaker 4: crimes prosecutor, which is of note. She said that under
- 18:03Speaker 4: New York state law, the girl consented under New York
- 18:05Speaker 4: state law. And from there, the media is reporting the
- 18:08Speaker 4: story inaccurately and unfairly. And of course, the pictures of
- 18:12Speaker 4: these young men are the Cornell seven as they're calling
- 18:14Speaker 4: them pictures all over the news. Who knows about, you know,
- 18:18Speaker 4: future jobs and careers and moving forward. But, you know,
- 18:21Speaker 4: some people might say reading some of the stuff and
- 18:23Speaker 4: do it. Also, they might say, good. People need to
- 18:25Speaker 4: know about you being a menace. Put your picture all
- 18:28Speaker 4: over the news. People might actually feel good about that.
- 18:30Speaker 4: So it's, it's, we all know how these things get.
- 18:33Speaker 4: We talked about Lindsay Clancy a couple of weeks ago.
- 18:36Speaker 4: We all know how things get sensitive cases like this.
- 18:39Speaker 4: When it gets just thrust into the public sphere, the
- 18:42Speaker 4: media sphere, it gets very messy and, very quick but
- 18:45Speaker 4: let's not let that take away from a horrific incident
- 18:49Speaker 4: if everything in this lawsuit and in the in the
- 18:52Speaker 4: case files are true i mean good lord they put
- 18:55Speaker 4: this woman through hell for hours to the point where
- 18:57Speaker 4: she was damn near paralyzed when she had fully realized
- 19:00Speaker 4: what had happened and an important thing in that news
- 19:04Speaker 4: report too this is the last uh last tidbit here
- 19:06Speaker 4: for me important from the um the guest i was
- 19:10Speaker 4: speaking on that report You know, because people are always like,
- 19:13Speaker 4: why don't women come forward right away?
- 19:15Speaker 2: You know, why?
- 19:16Speaker 4: Why does she wait and then and then be dishonest
- 19:19Speaker 4: allegedly and say, hey, you know, it was consensual. Yeah,
- 19:22Speaker 4: I wanted to drink. I wanted to get crazy and
- 19:25Speaker 4: then come forward later. People might look at that and
- 19:27Speaker 4: be like, hmm, is she lying? Like, does she have
- 19:29Speaker 4: weird motives? But there is an important detail in there.
- 19:33Speaker 4: Sometimes victims are so shocked by what happened. They don't
- 19:36Speaker 4: know how to proceed. It's like the paralyzation of thought
- 19:39Speaker 4: and action. That's what trauma can do. So let's not
- 19:42Speaker 4: judge because she took a while to go to the
- 19:45Speaker 4: police or she made an original statement and recanted and said, oh, no,
- 19:49Speaker 4: this horrific. stuff actually happened. Let's not make that into
- 19:52Speaker 4: a whole. Oh, she must be lying. She already lied before.
- 19:54Speaker 4: It's a lot more complicated than that.
- 19:56Speaker 9: I mean, as a as a woman, I don't think
- 19:59Speaker 9: that we would come forward right away because sometimes you
- 20:02Speaker 9: push certain things, especially when you're dealing with, like you said, trauma.
- 20:06Speaker 9: You push it in the back of our minds and
- 20:08Speaker 9: pretend like it didn't happen. And then years later, we're like, whoa.
- 20:12Speaker 4: If there's one thing we can all relate to, it's
- 20:14Speaker 4: the matter of, as just human beings, we can all
- 20:16Speaker 4: relate to. It's the matter of trauma. And I talk
- 20:19Speaker 4: about trauma a lot personally when I'm on the mentality
- 20:22Speaker 4: section of the recess bell, of the mental health section.
- 20:26Speaker 4: Very tricky thing. And I compare it to like physical trauma.
- 20:28Speaker 4: You know, you break your leg, your leg's never really
- 20:30Speaker 4: going to be the same again. Break your arm, same thing.
- 20:33Speaker 4: Same thing with the brain. You suffer real trauma like that. Unfortunately,
- 20:37Speaker 4: it'll never be the same. We have to recover in
- 20:39Speaker 4: our own way, but it will never get back to 100%.
- 20:41Speaker 4: Maybe 98%, maybe 97%, but there are material changes that
- 20:46Speaker 4: happen when any type of trauma, mental or physical trauma,
- 20:53Speaker 4: whenever it's suffered, material changes happen.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Real raw changes can happen.
- 20:57Speaker 9: So it could be i mean it could have been
- 20:59Speaker 9: a lot of things that contributed to that it could
- 21:01Speaker 9: have been fear it could have been shame it could
- 21:04Speaker 9: have been just the reality of did this really happen
- 21:08Speaker 9: yeah was i dreaming because it could have been a
- 21:12Speaker 9: lot of things involved where yeah you would pretend like
- 21:15Speaker 9: it didn't happen.
- 21:18Speaker 4: Absolutely you know and i hope um Again, if everything
- 21:21Speaker 4: in this.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I just hope this woman finds peace. That's all.
- 21:24Speaker 4: I'm going to leave it there, really. Again, I'm trying
- 21:28Speaker 4: to tell you all about these college campuses and friend groups, too.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Friend groups, frats. I don't want to single out fraternities, sororities.
- 21:34Speaker 4: Friend groups, too. If you find yourself normalizing cruelty a
- 21:37Speaker 4: little too much, let's check that and kind of step
- 21:40Speaker 4: back and remember that we're all human beings. We bleed
- 21:42Speaker 4: the same blood at the end of the day. Because
- 21:44Speaker 4: the fact that, again, they felt the need to text,
- 21:47Speaker 4: free pee, free pee in the house is nuts. Like that,
- 21:50Speaker 4: they completely normalized that. So we'll leave it there. Hour
- 21:52Speaker 4: number one, hour number two. When we come back, we
- 21:54Speaker 4: will circle back to our theme of handling stress. We
- 21:58Speaker 4: will tell you our stories, try to help you maybe
- 22:01Speaker 4: come over or overcome, I should say, overcome stress. We
- 22:05Speaker 4: will be back on the recess bell on air here
- 22:07Speaker 4: on the voice of Nassau Community College 90.3 WHPC.
