- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York Mart Simone on WR.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Well Gimmy Fla, The Great Talk Show hosts them fabulous comedian.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You know, he does an excellent show here every night
- 0:13Speaker 2: at nine o'clock tonight nine to midnight. Every weeknight nine
- 0:16Speaker 2: to midnight wor You'll Love It. Hey also on the
- 0:20Speaker 2: weekend Saturday Night does the best late night talk show
- 0:23Speaker 2: in television, Saturday nights at ten, Fox News Channel best
- 0:27Speaker 2: monologue in TV. Donald Trump watches the show. He loves
- 0:30Speaker 2: it and has tweeted about it every Saturday night on
- 0:33Speaker 2: Fox at ten. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I'm fat and drunk because I went to Patsy's the
- 0:40Speaker 1: other night nice and pound for pound is the best
- 0:45Speaker 1: food you're gonna eat anywhere. Okay, I love Patsy's. But
- 0:47Speaker 1: what I did not know about patsy because I've been
- 0:49Speaker 1: reading about it since I was five, is they refill
- 0:52Speaker 1: a wine glass like they're a fraternity brother. So I
- 0:57Speaker 1: went there and was just having what I thought with
- 0:59Speaker 1: a subsistut of commonnversation about show biz and life and politics.
- 1:03Speaker 1: And by the end of it, I went from talking
- 1:05Speaker 1: to one people to seeing three people at my page yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but I was. I was able to. I was able
- 1:12Speaker 1: to stuff veal chop my way out of it. So
- 1:15Speaker 1: it was a week man. Good for them.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Well, check out Jimmy Paylo's instagram. You can see pictures
- 1:19Speaker 2: of him at Patsy Sala Courus the Great Owner, and
- 1:23Speaker 2: you got to see all the Sinatra memorabilia and stuff there.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it was. It was crazy to me because you understand,
- 1:30Speaker 1: like I grew up in Levittown on Long Island, and
- 1:33Speaker 1: I loved gossip pages like Liz Smith, Cindy Adams, page six,
- 1:37Speaker 1: all that stuff, and they always talk about Patsy's and
- 1:39Speaker 1: every Sinatra book I ever read talks about passies. Of course,
- 1:42Speaker 1: Johnny Carson talks about everybody talks about passy. So I've
- 1:44Speaker 1: never went. So that was like my actual Mayflower, except
- 1:48Speaker 1: they didn't have turkey on the boat. They had veal.
- 1:51Speaker 1: But it was so good. So I've been I have,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I've been singing their praises as good. But I got
- 1:57Speaker 1: to stop talking about it because Wardrobe, you know, this
- 2:00Speaker 1: was supposed to be eating carbs Monday through Friday in
- 2:02Speaker 1: big trouble over here.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna get fined next time. Order the Sinatra meal.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Sala will make it for you. No, it's not that good.
- 2:09Speaker 2: The food at Patsy's is phenomenal, it's great. But he
- 2:12Speaker 2: always had I didn't think I don't think he had
- 2:14Speaker 2: the best taste in food. He always liked this plain,
- 2:16Speaker 2: dried out stuff. It was.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But that's also wide like he's he's you know, he's
- 2:21Speaker 1: a skinny singer. You know, that's Sinatra was definitely drinking
- 2:26Speaker 1: his calorie. You know, if you order the Sinatra drink,
- 2:31Speaker 1: they bring you a funnel. It doesn't come in a glass,
- 2:35Speaker 1: So I think it's a different I think it's a
- 2:36Speaker 1: different animal. But yeah, I just just I loved it
- 2:38Speaker 1: so much so I had to sing their praises.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a famous Don Rickles loved Patsies. Everybody
- 2:43Speaker 2: loved all the great comedians. You know, when you when
- 2:46Speaker 2: you walk in those pictures on the wall there, it's
- 2:48Speaker 2: like comedians you forgot about from like the fifties and
- 2:51Speaker 2: sixties and great stuff.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Yeah, well, right right now, the only comedian anyone's forgetting
- 2:56Speaker 1: about is Jimmy Kimmel.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Now, Jimmy Kimmel got all kinds of he's putting down
- 3:00Speaker 2: Mark Waynemullen because he used to be a plumber. Why
- 3:03Speaker 2: I thought was it wasn't Jimmy Kimmel a blue collar
- 3:05Speaker 2: guy himself at one point.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I mean, you'd think Jimmy Kimmel would want a plumber
- 3:09Speaker 1: around just to get his ratings out of a toilet.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You guys need a plumber over there at ABC. Like
- 3:17Speaker 1: my show is more popular than Jimmy Kimmel's show. That's
- 3:20Speaker 1: not supposed to happen. Like I'm not kidding, I'm not
- 3:23Speaker 1: I am not special report over here. I am special
- 3:25Speaker 1: at Okay, I'm having a nice time on the TV.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I am not supposed to be taken seriously. And they
- 3:32Speaker 1: took as you know, a legacy network medium and destroyed it,
- 3:38Speaker 1: like Late Night has been destroyed, like it's not coming back,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and I'm not happy about that because I worshiped it
- 3:44Speaker 1: growing up and I hate like I'm like a survivor,
- 3:47Speaker 1: like me and Guttfelder are doing normal numbers, okay, that
- 3:50Speaker 1: late night hosts are supposed to do well. Not no
- 3:52Speaker 1: one's doing a Johnny Carson number, obviously, because Johnny Carson
- 3:55Speaker 1: was the you know, the greatest guy to ever do this,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and there were like eight channels when he was on,
- 3:59Speaker 1: But he would that good that he would have been
- 4:01Speaker 1: the biggest guy in any era with any amount of channels.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But the point is those guys aren't doing our job.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Like our job is comedy. When you think of Rodney Dangerfield,
- 4:11Speaker 1: especially on the Tonight Show, Okay, because it's really where
- 4:14Speaker 1: he would kill the hardest, you know, is you'd watch
- 4:17Speaker 1: him break Johnny into nothing and it was just so
- 4:19Speaker 1: funny to watch because you could feel the impact of
- 4:22Speaker 1: the punchline. And Rodney's catchphrase was I don't get no respect.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It was not I know more about border security than Mark.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Wayne Mullin does like that crazy to me? You're clean
- 4:34Speaker 1: it like, what are you even doing? You know, stay
- 4:36Speaker 1: in your lane? And it just drives me nuts. Man.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Yeah, can you imagine if Rodney came out to the
- 4:41Speaker 2: Trump was a fascist?
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's no kings, Democracy's on the boat. Who the worst
- 4:53Speaker 1: would have killed it? Who was it?
- 4:54Speaker 2: It was Vince Faughn the other day said, I'm trying
- 4:56Speaker 2: to watch late night TV. I don't want to be
- 4:58Speaker 2: yelled at. I don't want to be lectured, I know, scolded.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It's an arrogant kind of thing.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Isn't it. Yes, And that's that's what's wrong with it,
- 5:07Speaker 1: for real. It's not that it's political, it's that it's purposeful.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Political is fun. You can make fun of politicians. I
- 5:13Speaker 1: do it every Saturday night, okay, But at no point
- 5:16Speaker 1: do I stop talking and go. And that's why we
- 5:19Speaker 1: have to vote this way. That's a purpose, you know
- 5:21Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And that's what they've turned late night into.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They've turned late night into five nights a week with
- 5:28Speaker 1: that one aunt who ruins Thanksgiving, you know, And you
- 5:32Speaker 1: don't want that, you just you don't want that out
- 5:34Speaker 1: of the medium. And we're not supposed to et comics. Again,
- 5:38Speaker 1: we shouldn't looked down on people because we are the fools.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I mean, that's what the origin of a comedian is.
- 5:45Speaker 1: The guy that was juggling for the emperor, you know,
- 5:49Speaker 1: the fool the king, Bring me my fool, you know
- 5:52Speaker 1: that whole thing. Yea, And again, wellk you know this,
- 5:54Speaker 1: When you get into comedy, they pay you in chicken
- 5:56Speaker 1: fingers and drink ticket the first five years, and the
- 5:59Speaker 1: chicken figures keep coming, but they usually take away the
- 6:02Speaker 1: Drake's exit by year six to thomics. Oh but that's
- 6:05Speaker 1: the point. We're not supposed to get up there and
- 6:07Speaker 1: act like we know better. The whole point of our
- 6:10Speaker 1: existence is to make you feel better about the fact
- 6:13Speaker 1: that none of us know what we're doing. Yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Well, if you want to see how late nights you're
- 6:16Speaker 2: supposed to look, watch Jimmy Fayla Saturday nights at ten
- 6:20Speaker 2: Fox News Channel. And it's the best monologue in television.
- 6:23Speaker 2: It's long, and it's it's bipartisan. You go after both sides, right,
- 6:27Speaker 2: it's what you're supposed to do.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Oh god, yeah, like we did. We did eight minutes
- 6:30Speaker 1: last week on Christy Nolman whatever it was the week
- 6:32Speaker 1: she got fired. Last week, I was yelling at John
- 6:34Speaker 1: Soon for not passing the Stay Act. But Trump likes
- 6:37Speaker 1: it because he wants to be laught at, you know
- 6:40Speaker 1: what I'm saying. He wants like in a perfect world
- 6:43Speaker 1: for him. Okay, the late night shows would make fun
- 6:45Speaker 1: of him all day like they were roasting someone. They
- 6:48Speaker 1: just wouldn't be like trying to stop him, you know.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's the thing, my show. If you hated Fox,
- 6:55Speaker 1: if you hated Trump, okay, you shouldn't hate me because
- 6:58Speaker 1: you can never hate me as much as I hate myself.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I mean, come on, man, but the point is my
- 7:03Speaker 1: show it's just syrup. Okay, We're just taking the news
- 7:06Speaker 1: and we're putting a lot of syrup or honey or
- 7:09Speaker 1: whatever the heck you want to tell me is on there.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Just to make it like a fun house mirror version
- 7:14Speaker 1: of the news. That's all it is. It's like you're
- 7:16Speaker 1: watching the week recap if it was fun instead of
- 7:19Speaker 1: the world was on fire.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Yeah. The other reason Trump loves it it reminds him
- 7:23Speaker 2: of Johnny Carson, Don Rickles, that kind of stuff. That
- 7:26Speaker 2: kind of feel too. And you can listen to Jimmy
- 7:29Speaker 2: Taylor too nine to midnight every night on WR nine
- 7:32Speaker 2: to midnight. Hey, this is decision about meta Facebook YouTube
- 7:38Speaker 2: that it's their fault the poor girls or victims they
- 7:42Speaker 2: got addicted. Are they really victims? I mean, just turn
- 7:45Speaker 2: it off, don't look at it. Isn't it that simple?
- 7:47Speaker 1: Yeah? I never understood that either. I don't think because
- 7:51Speaker 1: I didn't grow up in that era. I always laugh
- 7:54Speaker 1: when I hear about cyberbullying because I'm like, just shut
- 7:57Speaker 1: off the freaking you know, like go out. It's amazing
- 8:01Speaker 1: how a lot of our problems are social media problems,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you know, like look at politics. The issues we're fighting
- 8:10Speaker 1: over are the same. We're just doing it differently because
- 8:13Speaker 1: the guy you disagree with now lives in your pockets
- 8:16Speaker 1: twenty four hours a day, in your phone. But it's
- 8:18Speaker 1: like if everyone just walked out the freaking door watch
- 8:21Speaker 1: in a while, looked around. I know it's getting a
- 8:24Speaker 1: little bit less safe and mom, Donnie's New York, but
- 8:26Speaker 1: you could try. You get out there and live a
- 8:28Speaker 1: little bit, you know, give the world a chance. Man.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Yeah, hey what about Iran? President thinks maybe two and
- 8:34Speaker 2: a half more weeks. Do you think that that's it?
- 8:36Speaker 2: It'll be over soon?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Yeah? I mean it's not looking good. I mean that
- 8:41Speaker 1: we what are they on their third eye a tola?
- 8:43Speaker 1: I don't even know what's happening. It's like every one
- 8:47Speaker 1: of these other liberal outlets like to get on TV
- 8:49Speaker 1: and say it's chaos. We don't know what they're doing.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I'm like their eye a toola is on a milk
- 8:54Speaker 1: carton right now, like they didn't know what the guy
- 8:57Speaker 1: is Like, how are you going to tell me? In
- 8:59Speaker 1: what world? Are they winning the war? If we couldn't
- 9:02Speaker 1: find a president in this country? For three weeks and
- 9:04Speaker 1: it's happened with Biden. But I'm just saying, since get
- 9:08Speaker 1: chaotic when it goes down that way.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Well, Jimmy Fayler hates on every night nine to midnight
- 9:14Speaker 2: on w o R. What do you have tonight on
- 9:16Speaker 2: the show.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Ooh, it's Thursday night, So understand we're getting a little
- 9:21Speaker 1: crazy tonight. I'm bringing in just two comedians that are
- 9:24Speaker 1: going to be on my TV show this weekend, and
- 9:26Speaker 1: we're just going to make fun of the news. That's
- 9:28Speaker 1: all it is. You get Ryan, Ryan Reese. I'm getting
- 9:30Speaker 1: Mick Thomas on They Tomas a great Irish comment from
- 9:33Speaker 1: Long Island, and I want to talk to him about
- 9:35Speaker 1: the U two Springsteen protest tour. Did you see Springsteen's
- 9:39Speaker 1: going on tour? Yeah, it starts. He's starting Tuesday night
- 9:43Speaker 1: in Minneapolis. That's where the Springsteen start tarts starts. And
- 9:47Speaker 1: the good news is, like, you know, a lot of
- 9:49Speaker 1: Springsteen's fans have kids, obviously, but Minneapolis is perfect because
- 9:53Speaker 1: they've got five hundred empty Somali daycare, so your kids
- 9:56Speaker 1: will be great.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Well, listen tonight every weeknight, Jimmy fail is on nine
