- 0:25Speaker 1: busy schedules to hang out. How you guys doing shut
- 0:29Speaker 1: Matt doing good?
- 0:30Speaker 2: How you feeling I'm doing good.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It's it's the end of the season. The vibes are awesome.
- 0:35Speaker 1: You guys are awesome.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Is it done with Christmas?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Too?
- 0:39Speaker 1: Is that a good thing?
- 0:39Speaker 3: Yes?
- 0:40Speaker 1: We Christmas guys presence in locker?
- 0:45Speaker 2: Who wants to break the show?
- 0:48Speaker 1: I saw on an Instagram story.
- 0:51Speaker 4: Sure, it is a gift that is timeless slash time piece,
- 0:57Speaker 4: and it won't probably never leave my closet, I'm.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Not Does it rhyme with molex?
- 1:04Speaker 5: Maybe if it pronounces like Rolex non facts.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Josh definitely gave us rolies. This was like a Roly Christmas.
- 1:16Speaker 3: This was Christmas.
- 1:17Speaker 2: A lot of guys got Rolex.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I don't know if I'll ever be able to say
- 1:19Speaker 1: that in my life, but I'm glad.
- 1:22Speaker 5: As well, it was a Rolex Christmas. Yeah, Josh gave
- 1:25Speaker 5: us rolies. It's amazing.
- 1:28Speaker 1: How did he present them to you?
- 1:31Speaker 5: He pulled us all in the old line room and
- 1:34Speaker 5: he had like a giant table, but the table had
- 1:40Speaker 5: gift wrap like almost like the present rap over the
- 1:44Speaker 5: table and behind the table. Everybody had to get up
- 1:47Speaker 5: in order and look behind the counter. And he had
- 1:50Speaker 5: like different color, different variations of Rolexes that we store. No,
- 1:56Speaker 5: this was better than the Rolex score because it was
- 1:58Speaker 5: like up close and personal.
- 1:59Speaker 2: There were there's no glass.
- 2:01Speaker 5: Amazing, so we got to literally and it's free breathe
- 2:04Speaker 5: on every one of them.
- 2:05Speaker 2: It was free for us, I got for you.
- 2:08Speaker 5: Wow.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So when are we going to rock them?
- 2:11Speaker 5: As soon as as soon as the links come in
- 2:14Speaker 5: one of those as soon as the extra links.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know that I got.
- 2:17Speaker 1: You guys have bigger risks, those fat risks. You gotta
- 2:21Speaker 1: gotta order extra ones because you're old lineman. Fact. So
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's all right, all right, you guys gifted Josh something
- 2:28Speaker 1: super cool as well. That was quite the show.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Double gift for Josh as killed us, well not us,
- 2:33Speaker 4: but the quarterbacks.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Come about to get him was it a Polaris?
- 2:40Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, side by side and then he didn't have
- 2:44Speaker 4: like just something to whip around on, so it was
- 2:46Speaker 4: just kidding up. You got a side by side need
- 2:48Speaker 4: to four with the side by side goes hand in hand.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Of course he's.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Got the backyard for it.
- 2:53Speaker 3: And it's sick.
- 2:54Speaker 1: It looks very very nice.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Put my dad's a shame, that's for sure.
- 2:58Speaker 1: What else did you get, you said? He out of
- 3:00Speaker 1: two gifts, I just kind of.
- 3:01Speaker 3: A bottle of wine. So sorry, I mean I can't
- 3:03Speaker 3: get you and I don't have Rolex money.
- 3:05Speaker 5: But I did soon my brother soon. I got Josh
- 3:11Speaker 5: and Roles as well. Wow, I got a Rolex. You know,
- 3:15Speaker 5: I kind of pressed them. I pressed him. I had
- 3:18Speaker 5: to press him, you know, Josh. Josh is a great dude.
- 3:21Speaker 5: He's a great dude. But you know, like we've had
- 3:24Speaker 5: a great season for all one. Josh has made lots
- 3:28Speaker 5: of leaps and I am one to just always bring
- 3:33Speaker 5: light to the fact that offensive linemen do not get
- 3:35Speaker 5: the shine they're supposed to. So if we can get
- 3:38Speaker 5: a trophy from the trophy thrower, I want my trophy.
- 3:42Speaker 1: What's your trophy?
- 3:43Speaker 2: And that's a Rolex Lex.
- 3:45Speaker 5: So I then gave him a Rolex for all of
- 3:47Speaker 5: the accomplishments that he's done in this year. Uh, after
- 3:50Speaker 5: every game it seems like he's breaking records and records
- 3:52Speaker 5: and records and we're just playing ball. So I was like, well,
- 3:55Speaker 5: he he got us ro ro lease, you know, I
- 3:58Speaker 5: got him him one, and I had ordered his earlier,
- 4:00Speaker 5: and I waited till he gave us hours still.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Gave him his.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I mean, you guys are a big part of some
- 4:04Speaker 1: of his stats as well. He is the first player
- 4:06Speaker 1: in NFL history to have at least forty touchdowns in
- 4:12Speaker 1: four straight seasons.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Four seasons?
- 4:14Speaker 1: Is that crazier?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Other one?
- 4:15Speaker 3: Only?
- 4:15Speaker 2: Whenever only one ever? Another one?
- 4:19Speaker 4: I think, Uh, he does a really great job but
- 4:23Speaker 4: kind of keeping the under wraps.
- 4:25Speaker 3: But I also feel like the NFL.
- 4:29Speaker 4: Media and stuff like that like to really hate on Josh.
- 4:31Speaker 4: I think he handled it extremely well, but he just
- 4:33Speaker 4: stay in, day out, almost doesn't even feel like he
- 4:35Speaker 4: did that or accomplish that, because it's just it's so
- 4:37Speaker 4: normal to us and we're spoiled that way and happy
- 4:40Speaker 4: to have him. And he has highlight reels on highlight reels,
- 4:43Speaker 4: and yeah, sometimes that's because I get demolished and new
- 4:46Speaker 4: roals out of the pocket and make something happen.
- 4:48Speaker 2: But I'm like, hey, it looks sick on YouTube.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Let's go.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You guys heard so he can ball out.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah, him at the seventeen Himothy.
- 4:54Speaker 1: That's right.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Uh.
- 4:55Speaker 1: Do you guys look forward to around Christmas time when
- 4:58Speaker 1: everybody's tossing gifts around in the locker.
- 5:00Speaker 2: Room in the building.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Christmas, yes, building, Christmas outside the building?
- 5:04Speaker 2: Christmas.
- 5:05Speaker 5: No, you got the kids because we are the big
- 5:08Speaker 5: Santa Claus for out and families and everybody that touches us.
- 5:11Speaker 3: I don't have any little kids.
- 5:12Speaker 2: We are we are Santa.
- 5:14Speaker 5: So you know, I always thought Santa would be fun,
- 5:17Speaker 5: but you know, Santa is boring.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Wow, Santa is boring.
- 5:25Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 5:26Speaker 4: I like the Grinch definitely is a different vibe the
- 5:28Speaker 4: locker room between and it's out.
- 5:30Speaker 5: And I'm gonna just like bring it like today because
- 5:32Speaker 5: it's only because like I hate that, Like they make
- 5:35Speaker 5: Santa and Christmas one day, like I'm seeing all year long,
- 5:38Speaker 5: and I enjoy doing it like on the day that
- 5:40Speaker 5: nobody expects it, and then it's just one day and
- 5:42Speaker 5: it's like, oh, I didn't get this.
- 5:43Speaker 2: I'm like, damn like all year like, you're good. I
- 5:46Speaker 2: got you.
- 5:47Speaker 5: You spoil kids, you know, Yeah, the kids are spoiled
- 5:50Speaker 5: all day every day.
- 5:52Speaker 1: But it's always it's always fun to see what you
- 5:54Speaker 1: guys gift to each other and get from each other.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I look forward to that because it's some cool gift.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Rolexes are amazing, look great on you, guys. I already
- 6:04Speaker 1: know it. Since we're talking about watches, let's talk a
- 6:07Speaker 1: little bit about what you guys have been wearing to
- 6:10Speaker 1: the game. So let's get into what we call fit check.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Good.
- 6:24Speaker 1: So do we have any outfits that stand out in
- 6:29Speaker 1: our minds from the best ones you've worn in this season? Dion,
- 6:32Speaker 1: We'll start with you, whether it's a total outfit, whether
- 6:36Speaker 1: it's shoes, are there? Is there anything that you've been
- 6:38Speaker 1: super proud of?
- 6:40Speaker 5: Be honest, what I've learned sometimes for the bigger guys,
- 6:44Speaker 5: the less close the better.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Shirtless I mean, the less closed the better. You know,
- 6:49Speaker 2: So shirt pants.
- 6:53Speaker 5: Vice versa box lou eim socks and shoes, I'm down,
- 6:58Speaker 5: it's a win win. But no shirts, tattoos, pants, shoes supplied.
- 7:05Speaker 2: You know, like if we was in Florida. You'll be
- 7:07Speaker 2: in shorts with no shirt and shoes. Why not doing
- 7:09Speaker 2: the Buffalo?
- 7:10Speaker 1: How did you decide to do that?
- 7:13Speaker 2: Great question.
- 7:15Speaker 5: I kind of panicked before it's game time of what
- 7:18Speaker 5: I'm wearing, so I did not have a shirt.
- 7:22Speaker 2: So I said, I'm.
- 7:24Speaker 5: Going with no shirt, and I just went with no
- 7:26Speaker 5: shirt and it was a It was.
- 7:29Speaker 2: A it was a great choice.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It was a good choice. It was a great choice.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Were you surprised by Spencer?
- 7:34Speaker 3: I was just on my phone in the locker and
- 7:35Speaker 3: I'm like, what the hell, Like, that's nuts. I can
- 7:38Speaker 3: pull it off.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Yes, you could.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Any offensive lineman could, I believe it.
- 7:42Speaker 3: I had some crunches for a walk in there.
- 7:43Speaker 4: Yeah, push ups a couple of years, you're in the
- 7:45Speaker 4: parking lot getting wrapping them out, picking up the wrap.
- 7:49Speaker 5: Yet.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Favorite pair of shoes you've worn this season?
- 7:53Speaker 5: Dean, mm, probably my rick Onons. I enjoyed my rick Onons.
- 7:58Speaker 5: You know, I have a lot of pairs of sneakers.
- 8:01Speaker 5: I like my Balenciaga tennis shoes as well, But but
- 8:05Speaker 5: the rick Owens are probably cool because they're like a
- 8:08Speaker 5: different vibe, Like they just bring the whole outfit to together.
- 8:11Speaker 2: In like a classier way, but I like my Riky's.
- 8:13Speaker 1: Is there an accessory in jewelry or bags that you
- 8:18Speaker 1: have brought to the table this year and that you've
- 8:20Speaker 1: had shown off?
- 8:21Speaker 5: I have a silver Tefi tel Far silver tel Far bag.
- 8:28Speaker 5: It's a bag. I actually don't know who is the
- 8:31Speaker 5: owner of it. If I'm correct, I think it's Beyonce's daughter,
- 8:38Speaker 5: isn't it Ivy? I'm pretty sure that it's like blue.
- 8:41Speaker 5: If I'm correct, it's like blue Ivy Carter's brand, and
- 8:45Speaker 5: or she Ward or Beyonce Ward first and then it
- 8:48Speaker 5: blew up, I guess.
- 8:49Speaker 2: And I was in where were we? We were in Chicago.
- 8:54Speaker 5: Last year around Christmas time, if I'm correct, right, and
- 8:58Speaker 5: I've went into a store and it had it.
- 8:59Speaker 1: In the and I was like, how do you find
- 9:02Speaker 1: out about these things? Are you?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Do?
- 9:04Speaker 1: You stay on social media and follow like fashion accounts
- 9:07Speaker 1: to where you know Beyonce's daughter had this, or this
- 9:10Speaker 1: is her brand, or so and so is doing a collab.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I think this is cool, Let me buy it. Where
- 9:15Speaker 1: does the inspo come from?
- 9:18Speaker 2: Well?
- 9:18Speaker 5: I have a I have a chopper that helps me,
- 9:22Speaker 5: me me meach kind of like keeps me up on
- 9:26Speaker 5: the fashion that I could get into or that I
- 9:29Speaker 5: don't like.
- 9:31Speaker 2: For instance, like Steph Steph is full blown.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Steph Steph is full blown like runway.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Fashion Paris, He's like all the way in.
- 9:39Speaker 5: I'm more so like like uh like I'm just towing.
- 9:44Speaker 5: I'm just half a foot in where I just pick
- 9:46Speaker 5: and choose what I can because usually like this stuff
- 9:49Speaker 5: isn't accessible for the bigger guys.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So I wear what fits, you know, like Blinciaga.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Fits, So I wear Blinciaga. Like some of the other
- 10:00Speaker 5: brands are kind of like real snug. I can get
- 10:03Speaker 5: away like with a snug fit just for you know,
- 10:05Speaker 5: like a walk in, but I wouldn't wear it to
- 10:07Speaker 5: be comfortable, and I'll wear it just to be flying
- 10:10Speaker 5: and take it off.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Right Spencer, you got a shopper, No, I have my age.
- 10:16Speaker 4: She just sends you some stuff here and there for
- 10:17Speaker 4: the companies. But I just keep it as simple as possible.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I think the simple look is nice though it looks clean.
- 10:23Speaker 1: There's a few guys on the team that I would
- 10:24Speaker 1: say have simple and clean looks. I would say you're
- 10:28Speaker 1: one of them. Sam Martin has a very clean look,
- 10:30Speaker 1: so does so does Trell Bernard. I feel like you
- 10:34Speaker 1: guys wear more of the whites, the grays, the tans,
- 10:37Speaker 1: the blacks, the browns, neutrals. Yeah, I couldn't think the
- 10:41Speaker 1: word off the top of my head.
- 10:43Speaker 5: Like Lemon, like Lululemon.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Well, I can't fit.
- 10:47Speaker 4: The only thing I wear lou Lemon is pants, and
- 10:48Speaker 4: those things are the best I've ever wore my life.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Blu Lemon colors.
- 10:52Speaker 3: I mean, I think any colors could be blue Lemon.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Colors, but little Lemon like doesn't have colors like this
- 10:56Speaker 2: in there.
- 10:57Speaker 4: Well, it's not like TI to if it's like solid
- 10:59Speaker 4: colors like you was sold on solid solid colors, colors.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Like California vibes California, hoping not for long.
- 11:11Speaker 1: What has been your favorite look so far this season?
- 11:15Speaker 4: From my favorite look, I guess I had to go
- 11:18Speaker 4: with my favorite hat that I wore and that was.
- 11:20Speaker 3: The last home game for Dallas.
- 11:21Speaker 2: It's like a green melon.
- 11:23Speaker 4: Melon has good hats, Shout out Melon, but they have
- 11:25Speaker 4: like the flaps on the sides, which I found out
- 11:27Speaker 4: is even better than a stocking hat.
- 11:29Speaker 3: If you just pull your hood.
- 11:30Speaker 4: Up and have the flaps on your ears, it's a
- 11:32Speaker 4: game Changer, nice one, but I like that, and Green's
- 11:34Speaker 4: gonna growing on me, so I'd say that one for sure.
- 11:36Speaker 4: But good counsel. A little lemon is pretty much all
- 11:38Speaker 4: I wear. And a little Elwood. Oh Woods like my sweatshirt.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I like it.
- 11:42Speaker 3: TV Wars a little wood, so Sam Martin and actually.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Matalana Wow all fit together. That's right, I love it. Okay,
- 11:50Speaker 1: any cool shoes that you have loved wearing.
- 11:53Speaker 4: I wouldn't say anything crazy. It was like Nike dunks.
- 11:56Speaker 4: I mean any neutral colors of dunks. I don't go
- 11:59Speaker 4: too crazy, a high time or anything like that.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Just simple is what I go for.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Who else in the O line room would you say
- 12:04Speaker 1: dress as well?
- 12:06Speaker 3: Hm?
- 12:08Speaker 1: You sence, yeah, spenc and then you.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I think Cybo is going to I mean he's he
- 12:17Speaker 4: started here and he's just every weekend he's got a
- 12:19Speaker 4: little something else going on.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I think he's true. He's grown into it.
- 12:22Speaker 4: And I don't think anybody sees photos of Mitch Morris,
- 12:24Speaker 4: but that guy dress is like a true classic dad
- 12:27Speaker 4: and that's awesome. He's somebodies all that, but he goes
- 12:29Speaker 4: to the stadium like three hours early. Steve don't even
- 12:31Speaker 4: get a picture of him.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's dad. He's got to be there early, got to
- 12:34Speaker 1: make sure everything's all good to go.
- 12:35Speaker 3: That's right.
- 12:36Speaker 1: He actually, you know, gets the stadium ready. I don't
- 12:39Speaker 1: know if you guys knew that, but he like mows
- 12:41Speaker 1: the l lawn and.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Bates Bates is good.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Yeah, very clean cut plannel.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Baits cowboy boots.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you put a flannel on Baits.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Yeah, look good, play good God? That makes sense. All right, Well,
- 12:56Speaker 1: let's talk a little bit more about the season you
- 12:58Speaker 1: guys have been having because it's been so fun to
- 13:00Speaker 1: watch in a segment we like to call talk about it.
- 13:12Speaker 1: All right, you guys have been getting after it this year,
- 13:17Speaker 1: blocking the heck out of defensive lineman, allowing James Cook
- 13:22Speaker 1: to run through for yards after yards after yards. Talk
- 13:25Speaker 1: about it opening up holes for him, keeping the pocket
- 13:28Speaker 1: clean for Josh Allen. So, Dean, what has been the
- 13:32Speaker 1: difference this year with this group?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Unity? Unity? We've to keep it real.
- 13:44Speaker 5: We've had a lot of shuffling throughout the course.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Of our career here.
- 13:51Speaker 5: From being here for seven years playing on this line,
- 13:55Speaker 5: I have not we have not really had consistent guards
- 13:59Speaker 5: to stay every single year and be there for multiple
- 14:03Speaker 5: years and year and year and year. Now it feels
- 14:07Speaker 5: like our guards are staples, like they're in the ground.
- 14:13Speaker 5: They're like they're grounded. So like I would say, having
- 14:16Speaker 5: a consistency of five guys that are protecting Josh and
- 14:21Speaker 5: Cook at a time is the difference maker from this
- 14:24Speaker 5: year in the previous years because we play a position
- 14:28Speaker 5: that everybody has to move the same way, talk the
- 14:31Speaker 5: same language, kind of eat the same foods, have the
- 14:36Speaker 5: same vibes in ways, and you know, it's a it's
- 14:40Speaker 5: it's a good happy blend and it's and it's been working.
- 14:43Speaker 3: You know.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Spencer add on to that, I mean you've been healthy
- 14:46Speaker 1: this season as well, and I feel like your your
- 14:49Speaker 1: level of play has risen too. What have you thought
- 14:54Speaker 1: about your play in addition to just having consistency on
- 14:58Speaker 1: the offensive line, Like, yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 4: I think just being healthy is is a huge thing,
- 15:04Speaker 4: both both playing in in the mental game that you.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Play with yourself.
- 15:08Speaker 4: But uh, just it was ad a good offseason and
- 15:11Speaker 4: then rolling the camp. I finally got a full Yeth
- 15:13Speaker 4: Cromer cause I missed OT's last year, so it's got
- 15:15Speaker 4: thrown into it. Uh during the season last year, but
- 15:17Speaker 4: I spent a whole year.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Cromer.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Cromer's the best the line coach I've ever had. I think,
- 15:21Speaker 4: you know, when it is down, Chromer's saying it's gonna
- 15:24Speaker 4: be a sad day when he's not on our line coach.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I mean, it's just not realistic to say. But for
- 15:30Speaker 4: the on line, I think consistency equals cohesiveness in a way.
- 15:36Speaker 4: You know, we had Connor and Cybill come in uh
- 15:38Speaker 4: fall camp, so it's kind of like a new shuffling
- 15:41Speaker 4: for us, and then it's it hasn't changed since then,
- 15:43Speaker 4: and like Dionne said, just having everybody on the same page,
- 15:46Speaker 4: I've been moving the same way. I mean, you go
- 15:48Speaker 4: from training camp. It was Cybo and I were having
- 15:49Speaker 4: full conversations just to get the point across that we're
- 15:51Speaker 4: going to this guy and now we're going to Sunday
- 15:54Speaker 4: and as soon as we hear to player break the
- 15:55Speaker 4: huddle head be fifty eight, and then we just know
- 15:57Speaker 4: if it's gonna be a thick one, if it's gonna
- 15:59Speaker 4: be a thin one, if we're gonna like change a
- 16:00Speaker 4: little thing up. And it's more just we're all on
- 16:02Speaker 4: the same page. I didn't say anything, and that just
- 16:04Speaker 4: that's reps, and that's compounding and compounding, and it's been
- 16:08Speaker 4: a blessing that I think we're one of three lines
- 16:11Speaker 4: that have had the same starting five all year long.
- 16:14Speaker 4: And I think it's just a testament to be endurable
- 16:16Speaker 4: training room, taking care of your bodies. Everybody's being a pro,
- 16:19Speaker 4: everybody's on the same page and different personalities, but once
- 16:22Speaker 4: we got out there, we're just one personality to other.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Well, you got a left tackle and a right tackle here.
- 16:26Speaker 1: You guys are far apart in terms of lining up
- 16:29Speaker 1: on the line of scrimmage, but you have to be
- 16:31Speaker 1: able to communicate effectively efficiently. Spencer, I was talking to
- 16:35Speaker 1: you last week and you said, you know, Dianne and
- 16:37Speaker 1: I have gotten on the same page and we've spent
- 16:41Speaker 1: time together, so that's helped us on the field. What
- 16:44Speaker 1: have you guys done, whether it's off the field or
- 16:46Speaker 1: in the meeting rooms, that you think has really taken
- 16:49Speaker 1: your relationship to the next level. Dean, I'll start with
- 16:52Speaker 1: you here.
- 16:53Speaker 5: I would say more so just being honest with each other.
- 16:56Speaker 5: And I'm gonna take it more for like the mental
- 17:00Speaker 5: battle of it, like because like we're boys, so like
- 17:04Speaker 5: that that speaks for itself, like as an on line,
- 17:07Speaker 5: like the guys are the guys, but like with the
- 17:11Speaker 5: mental battle, like before every game, like like I tell Spencer,
- 17:14Speaker 5: he tells me like, bro, like we're the best duo
- 17:16Speaker 5: in the NFL. Like I'm the best left tackle, You're
- 17:19Speaker 5: the best right tackle in the NFL.
- 17:22Speaker 2: And together we're the best duo.
- 17:24Speaker 5: And you know, like you speak things into existence, and
- 17:28Speaker 5: and the more that you say it, the more you're
- 17:30Speaker 5: going to believe it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: So you know, like like we know how.
- 17:34Speaker 5: The previous the previous years have been a little shaky,
- 17:38Speaker 5: and now it's it's it's it's solid. So it's more
- 17:42Speaker 5: so speaking the truth and then letting the truth react.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Into the real world. And we go out there and
- 17:48Speaker 2: we play and he's killing dudes and I'm like, bro,
- 17:51Speaker 2: you killed that guy. And he's like, dn, you killed
- 17:55Speaker 2: that man. Then he says this like all day every day,
- 17:59Speaker 2: Like we'll be in the middle of a of a meeting,
- 18:01Speaker 2: he'll be like like, oh my god.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So it's a it's a it's the mental growth that
- 18:08Speaker 5: has happened because the consistency of good play, it just
- 18:14Speaker 5: has a different energy about you. So so it's been
- 18:17Speaker 5: a goodbye Spencer.
- 18:18Speaker 1: How much does belief having somebody believe in you and
- 18:22Speaker 1: your ability help you once it comes time for the
- 18:25Speaker 1: ball to be snapped and you to do your job.
- 18:27Speaker 4: It's not in a difference from like we said the
- 18:30Speaker 4: first two years of this year, and just the repetition
- 18:33Speaker 4: is saying to each other over and over and over again,
- 18:35Speaker 4: you start saying, if your brain and body starts to
- 18:37Speaker 4: believe it, right. So that's kind of like the mental
- 18:39Speaker 4: the mental stuff I kind of talked about in the
- 18:41Speaker 4: beginning of this, but uh, just from a standpoint of
- 18:45Speaker 4: Deon and I playing well together, I think it starts
- 18:47Speaker 4: with out of practice and changing my game and taking
- 18:51Speaker 4: stuff from Dion's game, which I was having a tough
- 18:53Speaker 4: time vertical setting and I was watching Deon do it,
- 18:55Speaker 4: so I was taking stuff from him. And then now
- 18:57Speaker 4: we go to the games and Russiers are flip flopping
- 18:59Speaker 4: by back and forth, and we can be in the
- 19:01Speaker 4: middle of the huddle at a TV time, I was like, Hey,
- 19:02Speaker 4: what's fifty eight giving you right? And that's just talking
- 19:05Speaker 4: back and forth and communicating but also trusting each other.
- 19:07Speaker 4: We're like, this is what we're seeing and this is
- 19:09Speaker 4: what worked I tried this, don't do that, and like so,
- 19:11Speaker 4: so it's just a good reptori we have together, come
- 19:14Speaker 4: to the sideline, figuring it out. It's just it's just
- 19:18Speaker 4: a it's a funny, fun time out there when you
- 19:20Speaker 4: can have a guy that's similar to your play style
- 19:22Speaker 4: that you can kind of do the same things or
- 19:24Speaker 4: I can't do some things like that. So it's back
- 19:27Speaker 4: and forth, just figuring it out together and then the
- 19:29Speaker 4: best best player to attack Spencer.
- 19:31Speaker 1: You look over at Dion, he's blocking somebody twenty yards
- 19:33Speaker 1: down the field. It's a pancake block. What's your first
- 19:36Speaker 1: reaction when you look over, you're.
- 19:39Speaker 4: That's that snowplow investment. But it's I mean, that's the
- 19:43Speaker 4: energy you need. I think uh Deon's taking his game
- 19:45Speaker 4: to another level. I think Mitch is doing the same.
- 19:48Speaker 4: I think Cybele's coming along and caught. I mean, everybody's
- 19:50Speaker 4: just doing their job at such a high level right now.
- 19:53Speaker 4: It's it's fun to wash and it's fun to cheer
- 19:55Speaker 4: each other on and support each other. And I think,
- 19:59Speaker 4: like Dion said line, guys kind of like we're shy
- 20:01Speaker 4: away from the linelight a little bit.
- 20:02Speaker 2: But when you have five guys in a room, and
- 20:04Speaker 2: even the.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Guys that are in the room, like they're supporting each other,
- 20:07Speaker 4: hyping each other up, like just getting the camaraderie them around,
- 20:10Speaker 4: going like just only snowballs into two good products.
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm getting the vibes that you guys are also a
- 20:16Speaker 1: tighter group, a tight knit group this season. Where is
- 20:21Speaker 1: the relationship between you guys? What do you guys do
- 20:23Speaker 1: off the field? Not just you two, but like the
- 20:25Speaker 1: group as a whole. Dean, where do you think that
- 20:27Speaker 1: is at? Do you think you guys are tighter this year?
- 20:29Speaker 1: And what do you guys do when it comes to building?
- 20:33Speaker 2: We eat, We eat, I'm gonna tell you the truth.
- 20:36Speaker 2: We eat.
- 20:39Speaker 5: It seems like we have like three functions a week
- 20:42Speaker 5: where we eat together because away games will eat together,
- 20:47Speaker 5: home games like tonight.
- 20:49Speaker 2: We'll eat out together.
- 20:50Speaker 5: As an O line, and then Connor has us all
- 20:53Speaker 5: over on Fridays because Connor is a cook. He likes
- 20:55Speaker 5: to make pizza and like chef like all types of
- 20:58Speaker 5: stuff like meat balls and stuff.
- 20:59Speaker 2: So we're we're always together. We're always together. So it's
- 21:03Speaker 2: literally like every other day we're together. And I think
- 21:07Speaker 2: that that's where it's coming from the most.
- 21:09Speaker 1: Who eats the most out of.
- 21:10Speaker 4: The I've never seen a guy house. I saw him
- 21:14Speaker 4: on the London trip. I've never seen a dude eat
- 21:15Speaker 4: so much on the plane.
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm telling you, he eats so much.
- 21:18Speaker 3: Dude's grounded so much for I love him.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I love him respectfully as a big guy like you're
- 21:24Speaker 2: supposed to. But I have never seen a guy eat
- 21:26Speaker 2: so much in my freaking life.
- 21:28Speaker 5: And and and he still runs fast and works hard,
- 21:31Speaker 5: and it doesn't even like absorb. Like I'm telling you,
- 21:34Speaker 5: the dude can eat like if we eat, like right now,
- 21:37Speaker 5: and we leave and somebody says something about food, he
- 21:41Speaker 5: can eat again as if he never ate.
- 21:45Speaker 2: He's a machine telling you.
- 21:47Speaker 3: The machine straight diesel, straight diesel.
- 21:51Speaker 1: All right, let's go around the offensive line room. Who's
- 21:53Speaker 1: the biggest jokester on the team, the offensive lineman room.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Yeah that, I don't know if I can.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I think it's jokes.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Jokes there I thought we all.
- 22:07Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know if it's even jokes, but
- 22:09Speaker 4: I think a good ribbing like it's not. I mean,
- 22:11Speaker 4: some people might think it's mean, but to us, it's
- 22:13Speaker 4: just like communicating to each other.
- 22:14Speaker 3: And I think it's kind of like we all just
- 22:16Speaker 3: kind of passed the baton around.
- 22:18Speaker 4: Honestly, Alec Anderson gives a good ribbing to Bandy like
- 22:23Speaker 4: and they have a good I don't even know you
- 22:25Speaker 4: want to call.
- 22:26Speaker 3: That like bro ship a bro ship. Yeah.
- 22:30Speaker 2: They it's like they're almost like, damn, you guys are
- 22:32Speaker 2: being mean to each.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Other, but it's out of love. It's insane.
- 22:35Speaker 1: They came in together. I feel like they're always see
- 22:39Speaker 1: them together.
- 22:39Speaker 2: It's like talking to yourself. They are literally the same person.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Who's the most serious in the offensive line room, not.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Even close, not even close, hands down. But you need
- 22:51Speaker 3: he We need that in the room full of the personalities.
- 22:54Speaker 4: You need a guy that's baseline all the time and
- 22:57Speaker 4: he likes to have a good time, but I mean
- 22:58Speaker 4: he also brings us back down.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Okay, guys, let's focus up. Okay, I've talked with so
- 23:03Speaker 3: let's just serve by shut up.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He's told me somebody has to be dad in the room,
- 23:07Speaker 1: so I'm Dad's.
- 23:10Speaker 2: I think that the best part about Mitch is when.
- 23:14Speaker 5: I kind of get him to laugh, like I'll start
- 23:19Speaker 5: picking out of it then he'll laugh, and that's probably
- 23:21Speaker 5: like the best still because like but like you don't
- 23:24Speaker 5: expect him to laugh and then he just breaks out
- 23:27Speaker 5: laugh and you're like I got him, you know, like
- 23:29Speaker 5: like that is still normal.
- 23:30Speaker 1: It's an accomplishment. Who is always in a good mood
- 23:36Speaker 1: in the offensive line room?
- 23:38Speaker 3: Mm?
- 23:42Speaker 2: I would My opinion is Connor. I feel like Connor
- 23:46Speaker 2: is always.
- 23:46Speaker 4: I feel like he's I've never seen him in the dumps,
- 23:49Speaker 4: or he shows that he's tired, or I think he's
- 23:53Speaker 4: he's right there with Mitchell being a baseline majority of
- 23:55Speaker 4: the time.
- 23:57Speaker 3: I'll show you if I'm tired from this life. But
- 24:01Speaker 3: my vote is Connor.
- 24:02Speaker 2: So well, yeah, Connor for sure.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'll give Who's the best napper? Who can take a
- 24:07Speaker 1: nap anywhere, anytime, any place, just snooze.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Probably, yes, man, I could definitely click a butte and
- 24:19Speaker 5: just be get it in when he can out.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah, respectfully.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Who's the most superstitious.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I would sound superstitious.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't think none even has a routine.
- 24:36Speaker 4: I would say if a person was going to get
- 24:38Speaker 4: out of wax a little bit because something wasn't right
- 24:40Speaker 4: out with my boat is baits.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's my vote.
- 24:44Speaker 4: If something isn't riot or if it isn't done as way,
- 24:46Speaker 4: like he'll start getting a little anxious, which that's fine.
- 24:50Speaker 3: I mean I get that way too.
- 24:51Speaker 2: But have you ever seen like Venom, the movie Venom? Yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 2: I don't think Spider Man Venom.
- 24:55Speaker 5: And then like when Venom gets close to like that
- 24:58Speaker 5: thing and it's just starts going, that's like.
- 25:02Speaker 2: The noise, but like the whole bend in itself, like
- 25:05Speaker 2: it starts to.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Like a shout. I know you're saying the pipes exactly exactly.
- 25:12Speaker 3: You need to see a movie.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Okay, I need to see it. I need to see it.
- 25:15Speaker 2: I tell you. Like that was a great analogy, but
- 25:17Speaker 2: it just went.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Sorry, guys, all right before we wrap, you guys have
- 25:22Speaker 1: been a part of some touchdown celebrations. Dion, you got
- 25:25Speaker 1: to spike a ball spencer. You were used as a horse. Basically,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Gabe jumped on your back and and you guys went
- 25:32Speaker 1: across the the end zone when when you practice for that,
- 25:37Speaker 1: I know this spike was probably you know, spur of
- 25:39Speaker 1: the moment, which Josh said, but I saw a picture
- 25:42Speaker 1: from practice where you guys were getting ready to do
- 25:45Speaker 1: that celebration.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah that was I think it's Fast Friday or Thursday
- 25:50Speaker 4: practice and the endoor. But Gabe has decided to do it.
- 25:52Speaker 4: He said, I'm jumping it back, so all right, and
- 25:54Speaker 4: then we just did it. And then he's like, if
- 25:56Speaker 4: I score, we're doing and I said, I'm down. And
- 25:57Speaker 4: then I didn't expect Josh I throw a sixty years
- 26:00Speaker 4: bomb to him and then I had to proceed to
- 26:01Speaker 4: sprint down there smoke by the time I got there,
- 26:04Speaker 4: and then we.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Had to do a whole celebration with It's so good.
- 26:06Speaker 4: I mean, celebrations are obviously they're fun, but they're almost
- 26:10Speaker 4: needed in a way. You gotta celebrate that brings juice
- 26:12Speaker 4: defense season.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Now they're jacked up about it.
- 26:14Speaker 4: So it's just a good flow to the game that
- 26:16Speaker 4: needs to be in there. When something goes right, you
- 26:18Speaker 4: gotta celebrating and scorn touchdowns is hard to enjoy those.
- 26:21Speaker 1: You guys deserve to be a part of the celebrations too.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I know it's like get to the end zone as
- 26:25Speaker 1: fast as we can, but you deserve to have a
- 26:28Speaker 1: role in it, to be the main character.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Sometimes you know, it's like a scowork field goal right
- 26:35Speaker 5: right and rush back.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Just thinking about that gatorade in the bitch, bitch in
- 26:42Speaker 3: that box.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Oxy Deane Spence. Appreciate you guys. Thanks for sitting down
- 26:47Speaker 1: talking about the year you guys have been having. It's
- 26:50Speaker 1: so fun to watch you guys. It is so fun.
- 26:52Speaker 3: It's just playing ball, you know.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Since I got here, there's been a lot of shuffling.
- 26:55Speaker 1: Guys have been injured in out of the lineup. For
- 26:58Speaker 1: you guys to finally have a solid five that have
- 27:00Speaker 1: been healthy all year, you guys deserve it so much.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Appreciate, Love you guys, Love you.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Yes, all right, peace out. Stay tuned for another episode
- 27:09Speaker 1: Inside the Charge.
- 27:13Speaker 4: M H.
