- 0:01My wallet is sobbing. I can hear it.
- 0:03I can hear Welcome everybody to our March
- 0:27live stream. We try and do these every month
- 0:29if we can. Thanks to the generous support
- 0:32of our patrons, we get to scope a little bit more time and try
- 0:37and get some of them on with us. And in the corporate world, this
- 0:41would be called the end of quarter one closing video
- 0:45conference. But we're not corporate nerds,
- 0:47so we try and market it up a little bit more excitingly than
- 0:53that. So this is our end of March
- 0:57almost End of the Dragon live stream.
- 1:00John, you haven't seen my drawings for the quiz today.
- 1:02This could be my leading day. Well, we have plenty of willing
- 1:07substitutes so you don't don't get so yeah anyway, I have rich
- 1:13and man with me. Rich is going to be doing the
- 1:17most of this of this live stream.
- 1:21He's running the quiz. So if you don't like hearing
- 1:23from me all the time on the podcast, then this is the show
- 1:27for you. Equally if.
- 1:30You don't like hearing from me. You're in all sorts of trouble.
- 1:34And Mal is just everyone likes Mal.
- 1:40So we can do the live stream thing.
- 1:42We could not say hello to everybody in the comments.
- 1:44So we have Paul. Zach.
- 1:45There you go. Look, Hey, Paul might be seeing
- 1:48him later. You never know.
- 1:50Legends Collector 1321. Dylan.
- 1:53Hello. Hello.
- 1:53Hello. That's us.
- 1:55And Darla. I wonder what she's doing here.
- 1:58She must be trying to keep an eye on somebody.
- 2:02And Jeremy, go over here. There we go.
- 2:08Did you notice Jeremy was in our last quiz but didn't volunteer
- 2:10for this one? So.
- 2:11I think I'm broken, he. Was probably trying to, you
- 2:14know, be nice and leave space for other people and stuff.
- 2:17It was. Wasn't it me and him at the
- 2:20bottom? You need to rope your game this
- 2:23time. I'll, I'll tell you, he amazed.
- 2:25He was scared and yeah, Jeremy was out in the Arizona deserts.
- 2:29Morning. Popped a couple of cool pictures
- 2:31of his barbarian in the discord. So go look at that Rich.
- 2:35No barbarian in the desert. We have just shelved Jesse or
- 2:40Curtis, probably Jesse and might see him later.
- 2:44You never know. Dave Orkin, our T-shirt dealer.
- 2:48Religions gone and we have someone else spying on their
- 2:53husband. It's Megan you doing?
- 2:58Really. Serious stuff isn't.
- 3:00It and looking at our our regular YouTube metrics that's
- 3:04like 100% male so this is pretty good We have 10 people watching
- 3:09and this at least 2 ladies Hey you guys outside you we know him
- 3:14that's Brett our barbarian dealer go on there we go.
- 3:20I'm not going to try and say that.
- 3:21You can say that if you want, Rich.
- 3:23So basically all the guests of the commenting pretty much,
- 3:26Yeah, Well, that's unpopular. We are OK.
- 3:29The only people, it's a circle, something rich.
- 3:34We talked to this week on the show that you got your the rest
- 3:37of your retail order. Did you manage to carve out some
- 3:40time to open it? No, you were too busy.
- 3:42Let's move on to a different question.
- 3:43You move on to a different question.
- 3:45Drawing bullshit with the basically yes, your mouth and.
- 3:48With my, with my finger and mouse pad and Word document?
- 3:51Yeah, class, class slaving for the man.
- 3:53That's what I'm doing. And there Joe, the nicest man,
- 3:58one of the nicest people I've ever met.
- 4:00There's a lot of very nice people.
- 4:01Yes, that's true community. It's a good.
- 4:03Community. And what a mustache I don't.
- 4:06Want to? I don't want to hark on about
- 4:09that, but I might have to give a little.
- 4:10Russell. But legions called.
- 4:13You could bring your own little beard comb and just take a
- 4:16sample or something, right? Should we?
- 4:20Which should we bring our guests on?
- 4:23Let's get some of these. Our quiz participants and guests
- 4:28for the rest of the show. So I was going.
- 4:29To say let's get some of these fine fellows on that I
- 4:31remembered who we've got, so let's just get them on.
- 4:34You were in charge of the invite, so.
- 4:35You know it's a. Reflection on on you.
- 4:38SO we got some great people, some people you might never
- 4:43recognize from our stingers. This man was on the Stinger this
- 4:46week. Hey, Paul, how are you, Paul?
- 4:47Hey, good morning, guys. How's it been going?
- 4:51It's great. It's great to be here finally.
- 4:56You did kind of threaten me at knife point at least.
- 4:58That's true. I appreciate the knife, Irish.
- 5:02So watch it. Oh, there you go.
- 5:04And I did. Appreciate the knife point
- 5:06because you know, us Europeans were really scared of guns, but
- 5:08you know, we do have knives over here.
- 5:10So it's great to have you on. Thank you.
- 5:14And you do some great customs as well.
- 5:16You've been posting some flame flame related stuff recently.
- 5:21Skeletons and flame. You do 3D printing and that kind
- 5:24of stuff as well, or. No, that was hot glue.
- 5:29Oh well, super creative. Wow, glue and some translucent
- 5:33paint. Wow, you'll.
- 5:36Have to teach me that all right #2 is Jesse from just shelve it?
- 5:43Hey, Jesse. Hello how are?
- 5:45You doing Jesse? He's been to be on.
- 5:50You were, umm, you were down in Muskegon last last weekend.
- 5:56Uh, yes. Well, up, up and over, but yes.
- 5:59Up and over, yeah, but we always say down in Ireland with this
- 6:02matter where you go and and you've suitably recovered
- 6:08without a had a tough week. Oh yeah, you've managed.
- 6:12No, no overall I mean it was a busy week after getting home but
- 6:15that was just like normal life stuff.
- 6:16No, the the Mesquite con is usually a fairly easy 1 to get
- 6:21back into the group after because after the trip is in the
- 6:25car there and back so. OK.
- 6:27Oh, so you drove? Yeah, I suppose with all the
- 6:29Wolf King stuck in it, how did it go for the Wolf King table?
- 6:33It did all right. It's not one of our biggest like
- 6:36selling shows, but it's a good one to like get to connect with
- 6:38people we don't see in a lot of the East Coast shows that we
- 6:41normally get to. So it's a good, it's a good
- 6:44variety of folks to see out there and it's a lot of fun.
- 6:48Awesome, cool. And who do you have on the just?
- 6:52You have it this week. That's a surprise.
- 6:55We have not announced it yet. Curtis won't know until they
- 6:58show up on screen, so. OK, so it's Curtis's entire
- 7:03family in a kind of a this is your life type thing.
- 7:06I don't. Know yeah, we're we're doing a
- 7:07umm, an Acker vention this week. OK.
- 7:15Eh, Tom Coles, another one from this side of the Atlantic.
- 7:20How are you, Tom? Good.
- 7:21Thanks. Good afternoon, gents.
- 7:23Eh, yeah, good to be here. Cheers.
- 7:26Yeah, you have. Umm, you had a YouTube channel
- 7:28at some stage with Mythics, didn't you?
- 7:30I, I tried John and, and I, I, I kind of, I, I realised that it's
- 7:37a lot of work, right? It's a hell of a lot of work.
- 7:39It's a bit. Yeah, it can be.
- 7:41Yeah. And, and it was taking me away
- 7:42from customs and like, I kind of, you know, I enjoy mostly
- 7:46doing customs, so I kind of wanted to focus on that.
- 7:48But yeah, it became a bit of a chore.
- 7:50But I don't know, like, you know, never say never so.
- 7:53Absolutely, yeah. Especially when you're, you were
- 7:55doing that kind of review style and kind of showcasing, it's a
- 8:00lot more work than that. We, we kind of do our podcasts
- 8:03once a week and OK, we have to edit it afterwards, but it's
- 8:06it's just kind of couple hours. It's not too bad.
- 8:08But when you're trying to do, I don't know how this Curtis art
- 8:13by Ackerman fella does all that content.
- 8:15He's a machine. Drugs, yeah.
- 8:25Going on, how are? You, I'm very good.
- 8:27Thank you. How are you guys?
- 8:28Good. Yeah, no stranger to your
- 8:31Allegiance podcast. You've been with us a few times.
- 8:34Yes, I'm very grateful. Every single.
- 8:36Time. That's very nice.
- 8:37And what you've been up to recently with the customs and
- 8:40things like that or have you been doing somewhere?
- 8:43I know you sometimes take breaks and yeah.
- 8:46I've been trying to recently. I've not been posting a lot, but
- 8:50kind of whittling away on some projects for myself and just for
- 8:54some other people as well. So yeah, just trying to keep
- 8:57everything balanced and recently started a new job, so that's
- 9:00been consuming a lot of time as well.
- 9:02So yeah. Initial, initial part of a job
- 9:06is always trying to get your your schedule down and all that
- 9:09kind of stuff. Yeah.
- 9:10Yeah. And you've but I've seen you've
- 9:12done a good few scopes that Mark Calvo is doing or kind of.
- 9:16Yeah, I've been working a lot with Mark, so I've just been
- 9:19commissioning ahead. So then Mark sells them and then
- 9:22I get sculpt prints for free and just, I'm happy to work like
- 9:26that really. So supporting Mark, he makes a
- 9:28bit of money and just promoting some sellers over here, really.
- 9:33So over here being Europe, but you know.
- 9:38Getting your ideas out there. Yeah, yeah.
- 9:41Very good. Our barbarian dealer is there.
- 9:49Hi. Oh, Silver.
- 9:52Hey, Brett, how are you? Morning, afternoon, everybody.
- 9:56I'm doing very well. Thank you very much.
- 9:58You're kind of an honorary European slash Brit, aren't you?
- 10:02Yeah, I'm, I'm, I play both sides of the pond.
- 10:05You know, I have a lot of, a lot of great memories of, of the
- 10:08Isles, so I consider myself somewhat of an Anglophone, if
- 10:12you will. Cool.
- 10:13How long your angle file? Sorry.
- 10:15How long did you live over? It was only 18 months but it was
- 10:18a very impressionable time and I've been back so many times
- 10:21since SO. Awesome.
- 10:23Yes, very. Cool.
- 10:25And you did, so you've. Been there four times.
- 10:28Jesse's now an honorary remember, too.
- 10:32Yes, he's just not allowed to talk about it.
- 10:33Somewhere just cry. It's it's, it's everybody
- 10:37against Curtis today. That is the mission.
- 10:41That is the mission. Everybody against Curtis.
- 10:44Yeah, that's right. And you you were also up at
- 10:46Muskeecon, so. I was yeah picked up Jesse
- 10:49Friday morning we be lined it to Muskegon had some great
- 10:54conversations great times with the with at the mythic meet up.
- 10:57I went and picked up Wyatt to the enabler at the airport, got
- 11:02back kind of like a you rich, but not with less moving around
- 11:07to other airports first. You know his.
- 11:09His plane didn't relate fueling. Nope.
- 11:11Nope. And it was slightly less delayed
- 11:13than than than yours. So his trip home.
- 11:17His trip home, he beat you. Rich, he beat you.
- 11:21Oh, really? Yeah.
- 11:24Yeah, yeah, it's on his his Instagram story.
- 11:27He had a big delay. Yeah, but Mesquite con's great.
- 11:30Like, you know, like Jesse said, it's this nice small little
- 11:32intimate one where we get to see people we don't get to see a lot
- 11:35on the East Coast. And, and, and I got to pick up
- 11:37this this beautiful Jesse original skull for cannabis.
- 11:42And I can only think it's some sort of South African antelope.
- 11:48Love it. Give us a look at it there.
- 11:50Wow, very cool. Is that gamesbox Jesse?
- 11:57I, I don't know, Len just sent it to me and was like, here's is
- 12:00what we're putting in all the CONABUS orders I.
- 12:03Would have thought you would have pointed him in the
- 12:05direction that you would have seen some when you're stay out
- 12:08there so. I, I'm trying to think of, I
- 12:11don't know which one that is, but I, I have a horn, an actual
- 12:15horn from South Africa that looks very similar to that, but
- 12:18a lot smaller. Well, I mean, yeah,
- 12:21proportionally smaller compared to the size of that.
- 12:23But this is this thing, guys. This thing is freaking gorgeous.
- 12:28Not only is this sculpt just knocked out of the park, but
- 12:31Jesse's paint. Good, good, good, good, good.
- 12:34Oh stop. And our our final, final
- 12:37participant, last but not least. And the reigning champion of the
- 12:42European group, absolutely bored to death by all our bullshit.
- 12:47Oh, are we still talking about South South Africa?
- 12:50I'm sorry. I didn't bring it up.
- 12:56Oh man, how are you doing? I'm.
- 12:59Doing good. Looking smart?
- 13:02You know, I mean, you're when you're the reigning champion,
- 13:05you know, you got to come in ready to go.
- 13:07I did hear something about everybody against Curtis.
- 13:09And, you know, that's probably the only way they stand a chance
- 13:12is if they team up. So yeah.
- 13:16But I do have to say contractually though, I am
- 13:18supposed to be center square so. Well, are quiz masters going to
- 13:23be center square? But I'll just massage your ego a
- 13:25little bit. Thank you.
- 13:27Thank you. For a moment, yeah, if that's
- 13:28OK. You, you can, you can deal with
- 13:30that, Jesse, Can you? I mean, you have to deal with it
- 13:32every week, let's be honest. Hey, if I don't deal with that
- 13:36prevention this weekend, he can deal with this so.
- 13:42Right. And that's enough for me for
- 13:44sure. And there you go, Curtis, to
- 13:46think, oh, you got up to the top.
- 13:48Look at that. Like snakes and ladders.
- 13:50Nice and rich. Take it away.
- 13:53Yeah, I was just thinking, I don't have this game show in
- 13:54America, but this is like a really bad blankety blank panel.
- 13:59Really. Blank.
- 14:00Blank without all the, you know, 1970s Inappropriate.
- 14:04Inappropriateness. Yeah, absolutely so.
- 14:07We got like the the the US corner and the the euro current
- 14:11corner over here too. That's that's nice.
- 14:13Yeah. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 14:17I love us. I should say I'm an unbiased
- 14:20quizmaster obviously but try and beat Curtis guys.
- 14:23But Curtis Curtis is my biggest patron in terms of arts, so him
- 14:27and I connected so there's a good chance you can get my pick
- 14:29drawings no matter how bad they are, so.
- 14:31Yeah, I mean, on this last episode when you guys were
- 14:33talking about some, you know, possible cuts and, you know,
- 14:37possibly, you know, maybe being out of a job, I really think
- 14:40that would be the best thing for you because I think that would
- 14:43really push you into doing more of your art and people might,
- 14:46you know, catch on that. It's really good stuff so.
- 14:49Fingers crossed. I like the fact that I've just
- 14:51mentioned my art and Tom's got up and left.
- 14:53That's that's never a good thing.
- 15:00I just had to really compose myself and psych myself up
- 15:02because this is going to be like transformative rich.
- 15:06So good man. The the problem with this game
- 15:10is that you're so like, you just wanted to stare at the pictures
- 15:14and just get lost in it. And then it's like, oh crap, I
- 15:16got to answer things too, you know?
- 15:18So yeah. Right there.
- 15:20Well, thank you all very much indeed to get lost as well.
- 15:25Wow, wow, to be honest, man, if you do as badly as you did last
- 15:29time, it'll be you disappearingly right then.
- 15:35So thank you very much for coming on gentlemen, looking
- 15:39forward to this. I've been I've been a quiz
- 15:42master in previous lives, so I do really like this.
- 15:45So it's just fun. It's a movies quiz.
- 15:46There's there's 10 rounds, 5 questions per round.
- 15:50SO50 rounds, 50 rounds, 50 questions.
- 15:54This is going well, only half between the first glass of wine.
- 15:58You see, my job's not that easy. Yeah, test everyone.
- 16:01We'll go through, we'll go through, we'll go through one
- 16:04round, do the five questions, and we'll then go through each
- 16:07of you to get your answers. Obviously you know you're all
- 16:11moral, genuine people, so don't cheat, but you can cheat if you
- 16:14want it. I'm sure the good folks watching
- 16:18us and commenting on YouTube will be throwing out answers
- 16:20too. You can use those if you want
- 16:22to, but let looking at some of the names there, they're
- 16:23probably going to be wrong most of them, so I just stay away
- 16:26from that. At the end of the round, I will
- 16:30ask you for your scores, which I will add to the official score
- 16:33sheet for the The Movie quiz. I'm going to make you big here
- 16:37just to to see how nerdy this is.
- 16:41Not nerdy, it's just, you know, I didn't.
- 16:44Would rather than excel, let myself down slightly.
- 16:46There we go. If if Rich doesn't appear on the
- 16:49show now for a couple of weeks, guys, it's because he's burnt
- 16:51all his matches with this quiz. My question is where doesn't
- 16:55Curtis's name lie on that list? Ignore the here just.
- 17:01That's OK, Joey. OK.
- 17:08Right then. So the last and most important
- 17:11thing, and I said this all to you in the, in the, in the, in
- 17:14the background, but I'm in charge.
- 17:17I don't care if I've got an answer wrong in the quiz.
- 17:19That's the answer we're going with for this.
- 17:20So you can argue as much as you like if you want to.
- 17:23It's not going to change the score.
- 17:26There we go. Now put the dictator side of
- 17:28things in here we go. Then no.
- 17:30Dick. Is everyone ready?
- 17:34Then? Yeah.
- 17:35Yeah. Yeah, go on.
- 17:37I even changed the fonts a little bit on the Euro Legion
- 17:38thing so it wouldn't be the most boring fonts that they
- 17:40automatically. Is that comic sans?
- 17:42Yeah, you went for. I have.
- 17:44I have no idea, I just clicked something that wasn't.
- 17:45The one he went for? Comic Sans, one of the most
- 17:48hated fonts in the entirety of the world.
- 17:50There's nothing wrong with Comic Sans.
- 17:53I didn't say there is, I'm just saying it's one of the most
- 17:55hated fonts. I think you did a great job,
- 17:59Rich. Thank.
- 18:00You. What point?
- 18:01To Curtis. OK, then here we go then
- 18:05everybody. The moments arrived.
- 18:07So round one is fantasy movies. Now, how many questions are in
- 18:12this round? Gotten Curtis.
- 18:14There's five questions in each round, as I told you backstage.
- 18:185 no more than 5 no less. Lost a point?
- 18:21OK, right then. So question one which of the
- 18:25main characters in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy was
- 18:28recast after filming began? What the the fuck is this I?
- 18:32Thought we were supposed to be looking at drawings, yeah.
- 18:35There'll be there'll be drawings.
- 18:37I've not been 50 drawings. Jesus, my gosh.
- 18:40I don't. I don't do Lord of the Rings
- 18:43God. Yes, take a guess at a main
- 18:46character name then. We're just writing this down.
- 18:49This is like. One of Guillan's favorite
- 18:51subjects. Yeah, this is.
- 18:53At the moment you're writing them down and then I will go
- 18:54through all your answers at the end, ask you to reveal your
- 18:57answers at that point. OK, Question 2, which character
- 19:02links Clive Owen and Charlie Hernan LED movies?
- 19:12One of the movies is quite good, one's dreadful.
- 19:14So OK, I've accidentally jumped to question 3, so I'm
- 19:17professional. Here we go.
- 19:19So, question 3, which of these is a famous fantasy film, Falcon
- 19:23the Slayer, Hawk the Slayer or Eagle the Slayer?
- 19:29The correct answer's a great film, by the way.
- 19:40OK, question 4. The all time classic 1982
- 19:47fantasy movie The Sword and the Sorcerer, my personal favorite,
- 19:50featured a hero wielding one of the craziest weapons of all
- 19:53time. What made this weapon so crazy?
- 20:07It's just too many words for a question.
- 20:09It is, sorry. I'll try to keep most of them
- 20:11short, but every now and again I do love the Sword and Sorcerer
- 20:14too, so I felt the need to write a lot about that one.
- 20:17Never heard of it. Oh my God, John right then and.
- 20:22OK, we can go back before we can go.
- 20:25Back to them. Yeah, absolutely.
- 20:27Anywhere outside of the UK because I've never heard of this
- 20:30movie. Oh, OK, it is.
- 20:33No, it's an emotional. Shame on you, youngster.
- 20:37That's the problem. Yeah, right.
- 20:39It's just a couple of years older than than a good few of us
- 20:42here. So this is.
- 20:43He's also a year or two younger than a couple of us here.
- 20:46Yeah, but. That's Stuart Brad when it comes
- 20:48to obscure 1982 fantasy movies. OK, in my offense, I was only 8
- 20:54when this film came out. It's not as if I was like in the
- 20:56cinema watching. This is the best comment.
- 20:59Yeah. Why Jeremy isn't here?
- 21:03I'm regretting my decision not to participate this time.
- 21:08And you can use Google Jeremy. It's OK.
- 21:13The final question in this round, Question 5.
- 21:16Which actor who portrayed Doctor Who on TV played the villain in
- 21:20a Simbad movie? So does anybody need any of
- 21:35those questions again? Yeah, start them all over again.
- 21:40OK #1 Which of the main characters in the Lord of the
- 21:42Rings movie trilogy was recast after filming began #2 Which
- 21:50character links Clive Owen and Charlie Hernam LED movies?
- 21:56So you're looking like on that one, you're looking for the name
- 21:59of the character in the movie. Yes.
- 22:01OK. Question 3 Which of these is a
- 22:05famous fantasy film? Vulcan the Slayer, Orcan Slayer
- 22:08or Eagle the Slayer? Question 4 The all time classic
- 22:141982 fantasy movie The Sword and the Sorcerer featured a hero
- 22:17wielding one of the craziest weapons of all time.
- 22:20What made this weapon so crazy? I've seen what people are
- 22:24writing in the and, and I think they're probably right, but I
- 22:28don't remember it, and I've seen it and I don't remember their
- 22:32answer. I'm not putting it.
- 22:35Fair enough, Mal. As I said, I wouldn't trust the
- 22:37answers in the chat, you know? And question 5, which actor who
- 22:40portrayed Doctor Who on TV played the villain in a Sinbad
- 22:44movie? OK.
- 22:55Curtis that Sinbad the the like the pirate not.
- 22:58Not the comedian. Comic, Yeah.
- 23:01Gotcha, that helps. OK, put it on.
- 23:06Your list. No, no.
- 23:13John's like no moves on quick. Yeah, this is.
- 23:15This is a rough one. I need pictures, man.
- 23:17I'm happy with this. Almost. 3 is the first picture
- 23:20round so. Gosh, I'm I'm going to be
- 23:23struggling. OK, so question one.
- 23:28Aragon, let's. Yeah, you have to wait to turn
- 23:31Gwi on, but yes, that's. Great, too keen.
- 23:34Oh, is this a buzzing thing or is this an everybody?
- 23:36No, no, no, no, no. You just.
- 23:38Go through them honestly. If you've got it, you've got the
- 23:40answer. Mal, who have you gone for?
- 23:42I I changed it from Aragorn because I felt like I'd heard
- 23:45something about this the other day to borrow me.
- 23:48Oh Jesus Christ, Miles on his high standard of answering.
- 23:51Then here we go. I had Aragorn.
- 23:53Aragorn Good's only point. I had dildo Baggins is.
- 23:57That right? It's not Dildo Baggins, no.
- 24:00OK, I mean he may have been recasting that other movie, but
- 24:02not least. OK.
- 24:04Paul. I had Legolas.
- 24:08No, I'm afraid not, Tom. Yeah, I had Aragon and and was
- 24:12it Stuart Townsend? Somebody Townsend.
- 24:15It was Tom. Thank you very much.
- 24:17Always there's. No.
- 24:18Bonus points for that time. There's no bonus points.
- 24:21Nobody's bringing the heat for that one.
- 24:22Yeah, bring it on. AKA the spoiler.
- 24:26We already know he's got it right.
- 24:27Yeah, cheers. Sorry.
- 24:29Brad. It was Aragorn.
- 24:32Aragon, Jesse Aragorn. Excellent.
- 24:36Well done, those who got it right.
- 24:38OK, let's go in reverse order. Jesse, which character links the
- 24:41two actors? King Arthur.
- 24:44King Arthur Brett. And both the movies are good.
- 24:49I know you like the second one, I'm going to vehemently disagree
- 24:52with you on that one. But anyway, let's move on.
- 24:54I blanked and I thought of a movie they were both in
- 24:56together, children and men. Yeah, Nope.
- 24:59Oh yeah. It's a fantasy round, Brett,
- 25:01remember? I know I I who lost the the the
- 25:05the categories. Queel.
- 25:09But any now, Said King Arthur. Correct.
- 25:11Tom. Yeah, King Arthur.
- 25:14Paul Highlander, I don't know. That's a brilliant film, but no,
- 25:20unfortunately, we need to remember in it Curtis.
- 25:24I'll be honest I haven't seen the Clive Owen one but I guessed
- 25:27it King Arthur because of the Hun a month so I guess I needed
- 25:30to watch the other one. You got the answer.
- 25:32You got the answer. Yeah, your only, only fantasy
- 25:35movie I could think of with Clive Owen was King Arthur and
- 25:38Keira Knightley, of course. Remember her from it.
- 25:40Yeah, cool Malan, but even you said Star Wars.
- 25:43Keep up your amazing. I had King Arthur and then I
- 25:46changed it to Lord of the Rings. Took me a minute, but I know
- 25:49this one grand. OK?
- 25:51It was indeed King Arthur. Well done everyone that got
- 25:53that. OK, isn't, isn't the Charlie
- 25:56Innum one done by What's the Guy Ritchie?
- 26:00Guy Ritchie. Yeah.
- 26:04I like it. I'm trying to be nice.
- 26:05Of man, I like it. Guy Ritchie fell off of a Cliff
- 26:09sometime after Madonna around Madonna, but he picked it back
- 26:13up with his most recent movie in that TV series, I think.
- 26:16It's a bit rude to describe. Madonna as a question Snatch is
- 26:18a legend. Anybody that says otherwise is.
- 26:21Snatch lock stock. But you know, there was a period
- 26:24that his Madonna period, he. Was that other stuff?
- 26:28Just don't the recent the recent gentleman something of Jesus
- 26:34Christ, Jesse. Guys, there's a host here that.
- 26:40He had anything to do with it. Sorry, Rich, go ahead.
- 26:45No, no, that's fine. Question 3.
- 26:47Mao Which? Which is the correct film?
- 26:49Hulk the Slayer, John. I had Falcon Slayer.
- 26:54I have no clue here. OK, close this.
- 26:57I had no clue but I went with B because it's in the middle.
- 27:01So fair enough. Cool.
- 27:04Same thing B Hawk the Slayer. Cool, Tom.
- 27:07Yeah, same, Graham. B.
- 27:10Because it sounded correct. Brett.
- 27:12B. Jesse.
- 27:15B hawk to a Slayer, that thing. Oh.
- 27:20Wow. Keep this for your own channel.
- 27:26Well done everybody except John. Hold the.
- 27:28B is the correct answer. Yeah, yeah, yeah, at least
- 27:31hopefully. Nice multiple choice for the
- 27:34win. This could be interesting as
- 27:35half people don't see in the film.
- 27:36Jesse, what was your guess? I just drew a straight line.
- 27:42OK. That's incorrect, Brett.
- 27:47When he it would shoot three things out when he used it.
- 27:53OK, Queel. Triple bladed sword is what I
- 27:56have, yeah. OK, Tom.
- 27:59I didn't know. I haven't seen the film so my
- 28:01guess was a sausage. Nice.
- 28:08That would have been a crazy weapon I would have made for a
- 28:10great film. He wouldn't have survived 1.
- 28:13He made it for a great film. I just said magic.
- 28:17I don't know. OK, Curtis.
- 28:20I don't know what it's called, but it's the the sword that has
- 28:24like other sword blade things that like shoot out.
- 28:28So whatever that is, it's like 3 three swords and one that fires.
- 28:33I just guess the lightning rod. No and mouth.
- 28:38Mine's a bit similar to Tom's answer, but it's a giant purple
- 28:40dildo. I.
- 28:43Can't remember it. At.
- 28:46All I can confirm it is a three bladed sword and the two outer
- 28:49blades fire off like a Jet Propulsion thing to take out
- 28:52people in the distance. It makes no sense at all, but
- 28:56it's a glorious weapon. It's awesome.
- 28:58That's. What she said.
- 29:01OK, and the the Doctor Who actor, let's get through these a
- 29:03bit quicker when we're here all day with this quiz.
- 29:06You need to crack the whip here. Yeah, I'm not cracking it for
- 29:09you. I can't.
- 29:11I can't remember who. I don't know.
- 29:14We'll just name a Doctor Who actor.
- 29:15I can't remember any Doctor Who actors.
- 29:19Think further behind than that. John.
- 29:25Christopher Eccleston. OK, Curtis.
- 29:28Patrick Stewart. That well known Doctor Who?
- 29:32Yeah, Paul. David Tennant.
- 29:37OK, Tom. It's a guest, but I went with
- 29:40Tom Baker. Okie, dokie, go on.
- 29:42Tom Baker. That's that's him, Brett.
- 29:45Tom Baker. And Jesse?
- 29:48I wrote Nope. Well, congratulations to the
- 29:55three people who had the same answer.
- 29:56It is indeed Tom Baker who played the evil wizard villain
- 30:01in The Golden Voyage of Sinbad in 1970.
- 30:05Something well done. Guys and he probably played a
- 30:06similar character then on Black Eyed or the second but remember
- 30:10the guy with the no legs. Yeah, I mean, that was a pirate
- 30:15though, John, so not that. I've never seen one episode of
- 30:18Doctor Who, so I. This is the really, really,
- 30:21really, really old Doctor Who. This isn't the modern Doctor
- 30:24Who. I haven't seen any of them so it
- 30:27doesn't really matter. If I'd thought head, I'd have
- 30:30brought cards with me and given you a yellow card for that one,
- 30:32Curtis. Sorry.
- 30:33Warning you're out, but. Well, I mean, you give me a
- 30:35yellow card then as well. OK, right, let's go off the
- 30:40honesty round then. John, how many points did you
- 30:41get? Two.
- 30:42First two. Mal. 2.
- 30:47Honesty, Mal, how many did you get?
- 30:49Yeah. Yeah. 2 King Arthur, Brett.
- 30:55I was. I was.
- 30:56Looking for. When?
- 30:57Most of these. Films are on that.
- 30:59You've asked questions, Paul. 1. Well, it can only get better.
- 31:05Paul, Jesse. 3 Curtis. I got the middle 3.
- 31:14We. I'm assuming the number 4 was
- 31:17correct to me, so 5. You got.
- 31:20Five, dude. So.
- 31:22Wow. I'll give you that #4 like 3
- 31:28bladed sword, 3 bladed sword. That's.
- 31:30Right. Yeah, if, if the next round is
- 31:33Welsh language movies, I mean, then then I'm long enough.
- 31:36I was. Going to say anything?
- 31:40We're going to start shouting cheek stitch up here on there.
- 31:42Yeah. And Tom, how about you?
- 31:454/4. Yeah, so wow, there we go.
- 31:49Good round everybody. That wasn't So after one round,
- 31:53we have Brett and Tom second with four and Guillen in the
- 31:56lead with five. Congrats, Guillen.
- 32:01Amazing. But if another Welshman wins
- 32:02this, I will never hear the end of it.
- 32:04Fixed. OK, this next round I'm hoping
- 32:08will be a bit easier. Consider that something you
- 32:09scored in that one. But here we go, let's have a
- 32:11look. So Arnie movie zingers.
- 32:15So sorry, sorry, just just to be pedantic here, you've taken note
- 32:19of the scores now so I can forget about.
- 32:21I have taken note, John. Literally I got a score sheet.
- 32:24I know. I still don't know, you know, I
- 32:26mean, you, you, you tell me you can log on to the podcast every
- 32:30week and it still seems a challenge.
- 32:31So wow, strict now how many questions in this round?
- 32:36Fuck off. Two round, 22 questions.
- 32:42Oh yes, there's any children listening.
- 32:43I do apologize about that. So yeah, each question.
- 32:46Doesn't. Each question will be a zinger
- 32:49from an Arnie Mil Arnie movie. I want to know what movie it
- 32:51was. They're all sent by Arnie.
- 32:53Arnie when? Who's Arnie?
- 32:56Schwarzenegger. OK.
- 32:57All right. And just to be clear, one of
- 33:00them will not be get to the chopper that's not in here.
- 33:03So everyone think I answer. Is this an?
- 33:06Excuse for you to do a really bad impression.
- 33:07Can iPhone a Brad Jones next round?
- 33:12OK, question one. I eat green berries for
- 33:16breakfast and right now I'm very hungry.
- 33:19Don't. Know.
- 33:21Where he's from anymore, but green berries.
- 33:25Is that not a bit racist? Maybe someone typing?
- 33:33Nobody better be Googling the answers.
- 33:34Here. Sorry, no, that's just my we
- 33:36don't use I I couldn't find a pen so.
- 33:39But there we go. OK, OK.
- 33:41Question 2, stick around. I.
- 33:50Couldn't even see the scene. You got a second Mallon
- 33:58reloading on wine. That's what you need for this
- 34:05quiz wine. Yes, lots of alcohol, OK #3.
- 34:11Add Stella Vista baby. OK #4.
- 34:20Is that just to make sure everyone gets the point?
- 34:22Are these all your lunches? That's.
- 34:31The good one and then #5. Consider that a divorce.
- 34:34Oh. Fuck, what's happening?
- 34:37Oh. Man.
- 34:42I'm actually feeling quite confident about this round.
- 34:45Ah, here we go, Mal, here we go. If your first answer is Lord of
- 34:51the Rings, I'm just getting John to cut you off the live stream.
- 34:53Oh no. No, he's second guessing
- 34:58himself. OK, does anyone need any of
- 35:00those again? 2.
- 35:04Should be gone. Round nailed it.
- 35:11Four, are these all your lunches?
- 35:16That was bad. Apparently I can't do lunches in
- 35:18a Schwarzenegger accident, but there we go.
- 35:20That wasn't the worst bit of it. No.
- 35:24OK, everyone good then. Yeah, I'm good anyway.
- 35:28OK, so here we go. I eat Green Berets for breakfast
- 35:33and right now I'm very hungry. I'm going to throw you over the
- 35:36stream now. Mal, what are we thinking?
- 35:40So I started out thinking this was Commando.
- 35:43Oh, Jesus. Just the answers, Mom, I think
- 35:45this is Predator, isn't it? Predator.
- 35:48OK, John. Put commando for this one.
- 35:51OK, Curtis. I don't know for sure, but I
- 35:54think it's commando. OK, Paul.
- 35:57Commando. Tom through the process.
- 36:01Of elimination, I didn't go with commando because I think another
- 36:04one is commando, so I went red heat.
- 36:06Okey. Dokey.
- 36:07Commando. Brett.
- 36:10Commando. Hey, Jesse.
- 36:14I put predator. It is commando.
- 36:17Yes. Miles not talking yourself about
- 36:24Lancers, dude. OK #2 stick around, Jesse.
- 36:31Well, clearly I can't. You didn't do the same movie
- 36:34twice. I wrote Commando.
- 36:37OK, Brett. Predator.
- 36:41I did, Sir. Tom.
- 36:43I put this, I said I went with commando with this one.
- 36:46Okey dokey, Paul. Jingle all the way.
- 36:51Awesome film, Curtis. I'm kind of stumped on this one.
- 36:56I I I went with running man. Okey dokey, John.
- 37:00Running man for me. Mal, so I run the same way.
- 37:05Jessie here because I thought it was commando I could even let.
- 37:09Can I? Can I tell you the scene that is
- 37:12in my head for this? Go on then.
- 37:14It's and I can't remember the guy's name but he's big dude
- 37:17wears all black beard grey hair and he pins him to the wall with
- 37:22a big old like spear that. You know from.
- 37:28Wales, the pipe. The pipe?
- 37:29Oh, is it a pipe? He does it too, but.
- 37:31That's that's what's in my head. No that.
- 37:33Thing it is little steam. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:37Yeah. This one is predator.
- 37:41When he pins. One of the guys to a fence with
- 37:43a machete through the chest. What who?
- 37:45Wait, isn't he just going against the predator?
- 37:47Who's he pin against the thing? They attack the the rebel base
- 37:51at the start. Oh.
- 37:53Fuck Star Wars. Curtis is taking this seriously,
- 37:59everybody. He's slipping.
- 38:02I, I Manny's got a lot of quips in Running Man.
- 38:05I thought for sure that was it. All right.
- 38:06OK, if anyone doesn't get this next one, you might have to
- 38:08leave. Hasta La Vista, baby, you've.
- 38:11Got me. Yeah, that's easy.
- 38:13But Al it is Terminator, isn't it?
- 38:17OK, John. Terminator 2.
- 38:20Curtis. Terminator 2.
- 38:23Oh. Wow, now Terminator.
- 38:28Tom. Yeah, 22.
- 38:30Terminator 2. Grill D2 Brett.
- 38:37Terminator 2. Jesse.
- 38:40Terminator 2 Judgement deck. I mean, Jesse's got the full
- 38:44title, there's no extra points for that.
- 38:45But yeah, it is Terminator 2. So Congrats everyone to
- 38:48Terminator 2. I'm out.
- 38:50I just. Put the character in.
- 38:55There, Jesus Christ. We have a ruling then under 2
- 38:57here if you. Haven't got 2?
- 38:59Then you got it wrong. OK.
- 39:02Alexander, I would highly doubt that that Rich would put in a
- 39:05Batman and Robin quote. I tried to forget Arnie's in
- 39:13that one, to be honest. It's I hold Arnie dear in my
- 39:16heart. So last name right then?
- 39:19Are these all your lunches, Jesse?
- 39:23Kindergarten Cop. Brett.
- 39:25It's not a tumor, Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:30Queer Kindergarten cop, Tom. Yeah, Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:34Paul. Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:36Curtis, who's your daddy and what does he do?
- 39:41Kindergarten Cop. Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:44Kindergarten Cop. I went with Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:47Well done everybody. It is indeed Kindergarten Cop.
- 39:49Another amazing film. And then the last one.
- 39:53Consider that a divorce. Who've you got?
- 39:58I I got this. I got this wrong.
- 40:01I thought it was true. Lies.
- 40:03Okie, Dokie, John. A total recall I put Curtis.
- 40:08I put true lies but I think I'm wrong.
- 40:10Paul. Redditor.
- 40:14It's on. Yeah, it's Total Recall with the
- 40:17Sharon Stone scene, right? Yeah.
- 40:19It is indeed. Wow.
- 40:20Oh, I shouldn't have said that now.
- 40:24Honesty. Honesty.
- 40:26Total recall. Right.
- 40:28I was going to re enact a scene from total Recall but I didn't
- 40:31know if there were women and children around so I won't.
- 40:34It's it's definitely total recall and yes.
- 40:39Total recall. It is indeed.
- 40:40It's when he shoots Sharon Stone through the head and.
- 40:44Then there's a scene where. I got, I got to say I'm I'm
- 40:47quite disappointed in myself that round so.
- 40:51Well, you just need to up your game a bit.
- 40:53Yeah, well, we're getting ready to get into pictures, so that's
- 40:56where I really. Think pictures are next.
- 40:59John, how many did you get? Four.
- 41:01Would you believe I just missed the second one?
- 41:03Mao one, Brad. 55. A little slow on that one, John.
- 41:19Cool, and my volume down. 1. Jesse. 3.
- 41:28Curtis. I got 3 as well.
- 41:31Guild I'm. Going to be accused of lying,
- 41:33but 5. Oh, my Lord.
- 41:36OK. And Tom?
- 41:373. After The Big Lead, big, big
- 41:41lead. I really you start getting some
- 41:43wrong here, otherwise I. Know.
- 41:44I know, I know. I know Jesus.
- 41:46Christ, we need Gwen's Internet to go out.
- 41:50There's a decent chance this is what it is.
- 41:54There's absolutely nothing to do in my hills.
- 41:56So they go to the pub and they do pub quizzes.
- 42:01OK, we all listen to all the same pub quizzes as Rich
- 42:04basically. Actually push cows.
- 42:07Over pub quiz or pub quiz, so on on on full marks it's GUI on
- 42:13leading with 2:10 rounds. Right behind him is Brett on 9.
- 42:16Then there's a little gap to Tom on 7, then we've got a bunch of
- 42:21sixes and then we don't want to talk about Mallow, Paul, OK.
- 42:24Nerds. Yeah, maybe it's actually a
- 42:29badge of honour to to be down the bottom.
- 42:31Be bad. Absolutely.
- 42:32Yeah. OK then.
- 42:33So here we go, everybody. This is the first of the two
- 42:35drawing rounds. I'm to get excited so each
- 42:40drawing is a scene from a movie. Which?
- 42:42Movie is it? No it isn't.
- 42:44Don't. Slit out loud.
- 42:46You might have to. Yeah.
- 42:48There we go. Yeah.
- 42:49Yeah, yeah, I got it. I've got my own little little
- 42:51whatever it's called as well underneath there.
- 42:53So, people. OK, that's not a move.
- 42:59That needs to go on a shirt for next year's Legions Con.
- 43:05There's a decent chance my face will be on a shirt.
- 43:07OK, right then here we go. Question one.
- 43:13Wow. And we have to name the scene or
- 43:17name the movie. Movie.
- 43:18Is this the movie? Is this some porno?
- 43:29No. John.
- 43:37Well, there is that one scene in Full Metal Jacket that he wants
- 43:42to RIP somebody's eye. 00 Kirby's got it in the chat.
- 43:47A beautiful mind. Correct, Kirby.
- 43:50I think that was your little picture on the on the, OK.
- 43:55Right then, here we go #2 oh. Oh, what the heck.
- 44:10There'd be no fives here in this round.
- 44:16I showed these ten question pictures or drawings to my team
- 44:19and work yesterday. Between 8 of them they got 4
- 44:21right. Oh boy.
- 44:24Yeah. OK.
- 44:29And the three torn between 2:00. Movies.
- 44:31I've guessed the 1st 2, so oh. Controversial what?
- 44:47Is this the Creed song 6 feet from the edge, No.
- 44:53It's clearly no more than two inches both.
- 44:56Characters. As well.
- 44:57It's like. OK #4 what the hell?
- 45:09Oh, could be what? There's multiple films.
- 45:15That it could be. It's really a knowledge shines
- 45:21through mouth, so it's like there's multiple but I'm going
- 45:22to focus out certain ones and go to the right film.
- 45:27You got to think like Rich. I'm not sure your your pictures
- 45:30give off that. You got to, you got to think
- 45:33like Rich. Oh, that's that's a park dark
- 45:37place to go and the and the last and the last one for this round.
- 45:42Oh. Fuck.
- 45:57I've just remembered what. That is.
- 46:02There's some thought processes there.
- 46:05OK, so I'll get to him again. How much people?
- 46:09OK #1. I think Kirby has got it here,
- 46:16Paw Patrol. OK #2. #3 #4 that's a big sigh
- 46:47over that was someone's not fun having fun here and #5.
- 46:58OK, is everyone ready to go through or give their answers?
- 47:02Not at all. Yeah.
- 47:03I just need one moment. For the yeah, I'm good.
- 47:05Yeah, no problem out. Who wanted the drawing part?
- 47:08Curtis I. Did.
- 47:11Yeah, let's go for it. I'm sure it's.
- 47:13I'm sure it's my problem. I'm I'm not.
- 47:15Yeah, it's about. Last time was the Christmas
- 47:17settlement to it, you see. Yeah, in Venice.
- 47:20I'm not. I'm never doing a quiz again as
- 47:22the quiz master unless I can do at least 2.
- 47:23Boring routes? Was there a theme to this round?
- 47:26Did I miss that? Yeah, no, just movies.
- 47:28Themes. Fuck.
- 47:29Films you've never seen. All these are all B movies that
- 47:33didn't make it the cinema now OK.
- 47:36Can you can you go through the pictures real quick one more
- 47:38time? Yeah, OK #1 #2 #3 #4 and #5.
- 47:59S #4 go back to #4 that looks like the head there.
- 48:04Looks like one of the skulls you get with that little dog with
- 48:09the blue lip doesn't. I'm relying on that being 1/2
- 48:12decent picture of the person to be honest.
- 48:16The Elephants Man. I drew the Elephant Man.
- 48:22He'd look like a like a model. Absolutely.
- 48:27OK, Right then let's let's go crazy.
- 48:29Let's start in the middle of some Tom.
- 48:31What do you reckon it is? I know it's wrong, but like, I
- 48:35went with the Fellowship of the Ring, but I know it's probably
- 48:37something else, so yeah. OK, go on.
- 48:40Glad you ate it. Brett.
- 48:44I went with Return of the King. Jessie.
- 48:49Gladiator. Mao.
- 48:56No, no, don't have a shit. Just I'm going.
- 48:59I'm going. Clash.
- 49:01Of. Titans, John.
- 49:05I went for Conan the Barbarian. Curtis.
- 49:09I went with Tales from the Krypt Demon Knight.
- 49:13If it's that, if it's that, no. And Paul?
- 49:18That's clearly Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.
- 49:21Really. He he decapitates Doku.
- 49:24That's Anakin with his two Sabres.
- 49:27OK, well luckily, what's the right answer in here?
- 49:30So this is good. The answer is Gladiator.
- 49:33Wow. When he decapitates the other
- 49:35gladiator is that. Glee on again.
- 49:37Yeah, it's the pig helmet. Jesse, Jesse, you got Gladiator
- 49:41as well, didn't you? Oh yeah, I'm very.
- 49:44Yeah, so it was a minor tool. I thought it was a demon for
- 49:49sure so. He's got the bull helmet on and
- 49:51he takes the two gladiuses and. Just yeah, OK #2 Jesse, let's
- 49:58start for you. I I went with my gut and wrote
- 50:03the Quicken the dead. OK, Brett.
- 50:06Tombstone. GUI on.
- 50:10I originally went went to Tombstone as well, but I'm going
- 50:12to go Back to the Future 3. OK, Jesus, Tom.
- 50:17Goodbye and the ugly. OK, Paul.
- 50:21Tombstone. Curtis.
- 50:24I went tombstone. Join Tombstone as well.
- 50:28Mao So I initially went tombstone and then did what
- 50:32Greon did, have switched it to Back to the Future 3 because of
- 50:35the photo he carries around where the guy in the coffin
- 50:40switches, doesn't it? From this guy you can shoot out
- 50:44to either him or the dog or whatever.
- 50:46Hey, can we limit this to really short answers, Mel?
- 50:48Yeah, he. Rarely did run right.
- 50:52Let him. Let him have his.
- 50:55Mom, I'll be here all day if you keep explaining all your right
- 50:58answers. I'm happy to report the GUI on
- 51:01200% record has gone. Thank goodness.
- 51:03Yes, in fact, nobody got this one right.
- 51:07It is unforgiven. Oh.
- 51:11Gosh. There's a very angry looking
- 51:13Clint Eastwood on the right there looking at the dead Morgan
- 51:15Freeman in the coffin. Oh yes, how could I miss Clint
- 51:19Eastwood's Brogan? And why is he pointing his gun
- 51:22at him? He's like.
- 51:23Crotch. I was rushing at this point, so
- 51:25I just like did it and then, you know.
- 51:27That's why lights, not a gun. Because us Europeans don't know
- 51:30how to do guns. OK, right #3 Paul, what have you
- 51:35got? He's.
- 51:36Trying oh landfill. I don't know what that is.
- 51:39OK, Curtis. I had no clue.
- 51:42I went with Thelma and Louise. OK, John.
- 51:45I went with Star Wars Episode 8 Last Jedi.
- 51:49OK, Mal, I went with the fugitive in the end.
- 51:53It took a while. Okey dokey, Tom.
- 51:57Yeah, Last Jedi. OK, go on.
- 52:00Last Jedi, right? I had no freaking clue, but now
- 52:08that I see Last Jedi I'm like that's all I can see.
- 52:10But you know my smart ass answer was going to be Debbie does
- 52:13Dallas. There we go.
- 52:16Let's see the outtakes of that one, Jessie.
- 52:20I'm I'm still trying to process Debbie Does Dallas from this
- 52:22artwork but I wrote. Last Jedi.
- 52:25It is the Last Jedi. There is a very angry Luke
- 52:28Skywalker throwing a lightsaber over the Cliff.
- 52:31All I need now. It was the face that shouldn't
- 52:33have a beard that had a beard thing for me.
- 52:35That's what, yeah. Right through the disgrace.
- 52:46I'm ashamed. Answers were my drawings.
- 52:48Somebody got it right now, so you know, you can't blame Rich
- 52:52at that point. No, multiple people got it
- 52:54right. I just, yeah.
- 52:57OK #4 Mal, I went with Happy Madison in the end.
- 53:04OK, that's not film, but fair enough.
- 53:08Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore, Happy Madison.
- 53:18Amazing. I was.
- 53:19Wondering why you were humming and honour.
- 53:23Billy Gilmore. Happy Madison is the production
- 53:27company. Curtis, so I didn't hear answer
- 53:32the new graphic. Yeah, OK.
- 53:33Thank you, Paul. Said the same thing.
- 53:35Happy Gilmore. OK, Tom.
- 53:38Yeah, same. Happy Gilmore.
- 53:39Happy Gilmore. Happy Gilmore.
- 53:45And Jesse? Happy Gilmore.
- 53:48Well, amazing. You'll be shocked to hear it is
- 53:50Happy Gilmore and Miles got another one wrong.
- 53:57I'm just glad I'm not in a team with Mal.
- 53:59Mal, just remind us what you studied at university.
- 54:02Film it was. Film.
- 54:05Jackin up. He's overthinking it.
- 54:07That's why he knew the production company.
- 54:09Well, well, that's what I was like.
- 54:10There's that tin cup was the other one.
- 54:13It could have been. I was just like, there's so many
- 54:15golf films. That's when you got to get
- 54:17inside riches. Yeah, but that, that looks like
- 54:19a hockey jersey, doesn't it? That he drew.
- 54:21Oh. Well-being.
- 54:23Adam Sandler's head, that's what.
- 54:26I still got it. Wrong.
- 54:28OK then so I. No, give me.
- 54:33A clue? I'd say these pictures are
- 54:35easier than the next one too, so I've got to help you with that.
- 54:37I went really unhinged. Towards the last ones.
- 54:39OK, Mal, let's start with you. I finally settled on Dragnet.
- 54:45Dragnet. OK, John.
- 54:47I went with the Untouchables. Okey dokey, Curtis.
- 54:51I went Blues Brothers. Okey dokey, Paul.
- 54:54Blues Brothers. Tom.
- 54:57Yeah, I went dragnet because of the hats, so that I'm doubting
- 55:00myself, OK. Go on.
- 55:02Blues Brothers. Brett, it's dark out.
- 55:07I'm wearing sunglasses. Hit it, Blues Brothers.
- 55:12Jesse. I initially wrote Dumb and
- 55:15Dumber and then got all excited and thought it was Hot Fuzz and
- 55:18then seeing the picture again I realized he's on the wrong side.
- 55:21So I stuck with Hot Fuzz, but I know it's wrong.
- 55:24No, it is the Blues Brothers. Wow.
- 55:27I thought dumb and Dumber too, Jesse so.
- 55:29I thought that was a dog head at first.
- 55:31Originally, yeah. Done it in blue color you.
- 55:36Know wearing shades today? Yeah.
- 55:39That's a good point. I did miss that fact.
- 55:41That's not, you know, that's neither here nor there.
- 55:43And yeah, you're infallible though Rich, right?
- 55:47And. You.
- 55:47Discussed it I was. Confused.
- 55:49I'm I have star on on top of the car.
- 55:52It's a speaker. Loud.
- 55:54Speaker Siren Yeah, that's right.
- 55:56I had like the beginning title sequence of what's it called?
- 56:04It was in my head for the whole time looking at his picture, and
- 56:06now it's gone. It's going to be wrong Mall,
- 56:08wherever it is. So there we go.
- 56:11OK. John Richard Wayne, please stop.
- 56:13Please, John, how many points do you get?
- 56:152. 2 Mal 0. Form now.
- 56:23Brett. 2. Zero.
- 56:27Amazing. Paul. 2.
- 56:31Well then, Paul, up in your game.
- 56:32There we go, Jesse. Three again.
- 56:38Curtis two. Oh my God, Curtis, we've lost
- 56:41our link. I know.
- 56:43Gwion A. Fantastic Four. 4.
- 56:47Important notice there from a commenter.
- 56:50Yeah, 2 for me. You're holding on 22.
- 56:52OK. Yeah, did make see that comment
- 56:56in there. Because now.
- 57:02I don't. Yeah.
- 57:05Let the haggling begin. Jeremy Gobius says if he was on
- 57:10he would make Matt look good. No one's up at Jeremy.
- 57:15You just enjoy the nice weather in Arizona.
- 57:17Mal space make him makes him look good.
- 57:20Oh look, he's got a supportive, competitive wife, so damn it.
- 57:25So. She's in the background
- 57:27Googling. It's not.
- 57:31That good guys. Come on now.
- 57:32Come on. So the ladies we on with 14,
- 57:36then we have Brett second with 11 and then the rest of you are
- 57:39playing and then dead last now we have Mao with three.
- 57:47Through three rounds. Through three rounds, malice
- 57:50smashing it. Just wait till you do a topic
- 57:54you didn't study University Mile.
- 57:55You're going to get zero. He didn't get 0.
- 57:58He did. OK, round four sci-fi movies.
- 58:05Here we go. How many questions?
- 58:088. 12. I need a lot. 42. 5 for
- 58:14everybody else and 10 for you, Curtis.
- 58:16I need 10. Question one.
- 58:20In 2009, a Neil Blomkamp directed sci-fi movie about
- 58:23aliens living in South Africa came out to critical time.
- 58:27What was the name of the movie? I can't.
- 58:30Remember that? Oh fuck.
- 58:31He made me watch this. Yeah, yeah.
- 58:39Sucks to make fun of me in South Africa now, doesn't it?
- 58:42Yeah, you actually. The only reason I'll I'll get
- 58:44this is because you made me watch this stupid fucking movie.
- 58:50OK #2 which Star Wars movie has the lowest IMDb score?
- 58:56And I they weren't a change but I did these questions like 2
- 58:59days ago so. Right.
- 59:09See, that's a good question. The 1st.
- 59:12These are all good questions. What the Hell's wrong?
- 59:13Here I don't know. The first one is just like you
- 59:15either know you don't. This one's a fabulous film,
- 59:18yeah, but. Like nobody can guess the
- 59:22answer. Are we counting trilogies here,
- 59:25or are we counting all of them? All of them.
- 59:29Every single Star Wars film, Yeah.
- 59:32Not the Christmas special or any of that, but just one to 9.
- 59:35That's ATV show, so no. I'm sure it was released in the
- 59:39theaters. Some technicality.
- 59:42Question 3 Keanu Reeves starred in the 2008 remake of Which 1951
- 59:47sci-fi movie? It's really, really.
- 59:54Hard not to say these out loud, just.
- 59:58Want to realise I'm not a movie nerd?
- 1:00:09OK #4 which movie starring Harrison Ford was voted the best
- 1:00:14sci-fi movie of all time by Empire Magazine and probably any
- 1:00:17film magazine, let's be honest. But specifically Empire?
- 1:00:24Oh no. Just.
- 1:00:26That one of my favorite movies of all time.
- 1:00:29I think, yeah, Well, I'm hoping. Yeah, it's my favorite movie.
- 1:00:31I don't think there's any skulls in it, Brett.
- 1:00:33How does that make sense? He just watches it while holding
- 1:00:38like a couple of skulls. Just a couple, just a couple.
- 1:00:41He's just, he's just uncle. Scrooge in it and like a big VAT
- 1:00:44of just like Legion skulls. Basically.
- 1:00:51And then the final question in this round, sorry, Curtis is
- 1:00:53just five. Damn.
- 1:00:54It. Name a sci-fi movie whose hero
- 1:00:57is a man who loves playing an arcade game.
- 1:01:02One of my all time personal favorite sci-fi movies.
- 1:01:07I hope it's the one I'm thinking of, Rich, because I really hope
- 1:01:11it is. I really hope it is.
- 1:01:15We'll find out shortly. Yes, we will.
- 1:01:18Does anyone need any of those again?
- 1:01:20Can I get #3 again? Never want to hear these
- 1:01:22questions again. #3 Keanu Reeves starred in the 2008 remake of
- 1:01:28Witch 1951 sci-fi movie. The Matrix 3.
- 1:01:34Oh God, don't do that to us. 5 again.
- 1:01:41The name of sci-fi movie whose hero is a man who loves playing
- 1:01:44an arcade game. Oh come on, that one's one of
- 1:01:54the easiest ones of them all. Yeah, that is one of my all
- 1:01:56time. It's probably my all time
- 1:01:57favourites life iPhone so oh get the right.
- 1:01:59Film. I hope we're thinking the same
- 1:02:01one. Arcade game.
- 1:02:03It's not Debbie does Dallas, Brett.
- 1:02:05I know, I know. Right then, did you get 3
- 1:02:09answers? Yeah, I go for it.
- 1:02:12Now, let's start off with you. Let's go wrong first.
- 1:02:14So question one. 2009 Neil Blomkamp directed sci-fi movie.
- 1:02:19I couldn't remember the number for a minute, but it's District
- 1:02:219, District 9. OK, John.
- 1:02:24I had no clue, no answer. OK, Curtis, District 9, Paul.
- 1:02:30A quiet place. Tom.
- 1:02:34Yeah, District 9. Go on.
- 1:02:36District 9, Yeah. Brett.
- 1:02:38District 9 and where's my goddamn sequel?
- 1:02:42They are talking about it still. They've been talking about it
- 1:02:44for 20 years. This is true Qui on Jesse.
- 1:02:48Sorry. District 9.
- 1:02:51It is District 9. But what's all of this South
- 1:02:53Africa crap? It's we're skewing towards Jesse
- 1:02:55now. South.
- 1:02:59Africa. OK, right.
- 1:03:02This would be interesting. Which Star Wars movie when I?
- 1:03:05Checked the interesting question.
- 1:03:06I am deep. Son of a bit, can I, can I get
- 1:03:11clarification on this real quick?
- 1:03:13Are you talking are you, are you talking about like the extended
- 1:03:17movies to like the like not part of the one through 9 but the
- 1:03:21other movies as well? You can lump them in there,
- 1:03:24Curtis, and the answer would still be the same.
- 1:03:26OK. So I'm expecting a few different
- 1:03:29answers on this one. Agree with you on that one.
- 1:03:30John, let's start with you. Attack of the Clones episode 2.
- 1:03:34Hey, Curtis. I am is that that's the second
- 1:03:41one. Yeah.
- 1:03:42Second prequel. Yeah.
- 1:03:46What's the What's the third one? Revenge of the.
- 1:03:50Revenge of the set, sorry. I'll go with the second one as
- 1:03:53well. Now, this is pod racing.
- 1:03:57That was for Eric Miller, by the way.
- 1:03:59That's. The first one.
- 1:04:00Hated line of any Star Wars movie ever and it just so
- 1:04:04happens that it's Revenge of the Seth and then he'll go in to
- 1:04:07tell you that it's neither pod racing nor exciting up in the.
- 1:04:12But yes, I agree. With him entirely I'll.
- 1:04:18Say Episode 1. Episode 1.
- 1:04:20OK, Tom. I'm torn on this.
- 1:04:24I I think it's probably Last Jedi because it's probably been
- 1:04:28like attacked online and review Bond.
- 1:04:31So I'm going to go with Last Jedi.
- 1:04:33OK, Qui on. I'm going to go with the
- 1:04:35animated The Clone Wars I. Think OK.
- 1:04:39Good good answer. Brett.
- 1:04:43Damn it now that he threw Clone Wars in the mix.
- 1:04:46They had a movie. Yes, I, I actually, I said that
- 1:04:51#9 Rise of. Skywalker, Rise of Skywalker.
- 1:04:55OK, Jesse. I I wrote Last Jedi.
- 1:05:00OK Mal, let go of your bollocks and just give us the answer.
- 1:05:02With this I'm going to change my last minute.
- 1:05:05Since because Holiday Special is going to be the worst of them
- 1:05:07all, I'm going. To go Caravan of Courage, let's.
- 1:05:09Pull one right from. The OK no is the answer to that
- 1:05:15one. It was episode 1.
- 1:05:17The Phantom Menace No. Thank you those. 3.
- 1:05:22Where's? Where's?
- 1:05:24Skywalker on there. So.
- 1:05:26Oh Jesus, I can't remember. I just.
- 1:05:27Was that just the most? The host is always right when
- 1:05:31even when he's wrong, yeah. Basically, we did somebody pull
- 1:05:35up. IMDb in the comments and let me
- 1:05:37know what the real answer is. It is phantom Manish.
- 1:05:43Wow, who Paul you got? That was it.
- 1:05:46Yeah, Paul got it. It was Brett's filibustering
- 1:05:49that changed my mind, actually. Nice.
- 1:05:56OK #3 what was the name of the Keanu Reeves remake?
- 1:06:00Go on. The day the the earth stood
- 1:06:03still. Brett.
- 1:06:05Day of the Earth stood still. Jesse.
- 1:06:09Day of the Earth stood still. Tom.
- 1:06:11Day of the Earth stood still, Yeah.
- 1:06:13That's it. Day the earth stood still.
- 1:06:15It's terrible though. Oh.
- 1:06:21Oh, sorry, Cletu Barada Niktu. So the day the earth stood
- 1:06:25still. John.
- 1:06:28I didn't have an answer for this 10.
- 1:06:31My God, Mao. I don't watch sci-fi movies it
- 1:06:33seems. It is the day of the Earth.
- 1:06:35Still, well done everyone apart from John.
- 1:06:37Fun fact about that movie, that's where George Lucas pulled
- 1:06:40a lot of names for the Jabbedensians from.
- 1:06:45Really. I did not know that.
- 1:06:46Like 2. Barada McDowell.
- 1:06:50Good one Fist bump there, Paul, Fist bump.
- 1:06:54OK, I'm imagine everybody got this one correct Evil.
- 1:06:58Dead. Did did anyone think it wasn't
- 1:07:00Blade Runner? Now.
- 1:07:04No, it's my. It's my favorite movie of.
- 1:07:07All time. No, There we go there.
- 1:07:08Congratulations everybody. Now we shall have lots of
- 1:07:12discussions about that. I mean I.
- 1:07:13Thought it was the answer but I don't think it's correct but.
- 1:07:17I'm not saying if it's correct or not, I just want the answer.
- 1:07:20Love that Lady and #5 which movie?
- 1:07:23Whose hero enjoyed playing an arcade game?
- 1:07:27Curtis, let's start with. You.
- 1:07:28Yeah. I just want to say I was reading
- 1:07:30this incorrectly at 1st and I was like, I thought you were
- 1:07:33saying that, like, the character had a hero who played like, not
- 1:07:37that the movie's hero. So then I got it immediately and
- 1:07:40I love this movie. Last Starfighter.
- 1:07:43OK, Paul. I was going to say Tron.
- 1:07:46Okie, Dokie, Tom. I went with Tron.
- 1:07:50Guillon. I had no idea, so I'm going to
- 1:07:52say Toy Story 2. Good answer, correct?
- 1:07:55No. Then it would be fixed, Brett.
- 1:07:59I said the Last Starfighter and now they have me second guessing
- 1:08:03myself. Last Starfighter.
- 1:08:07Mao, The Last Starfighter, John. Nothing.
- 1:08:12Oh thank God, last. Year was the 40th anniversary of
- 1:08:16it and the the the the the the actors, the leads were at retro
- 1:08:21con for. Oh, really?
- 1:08:24Signings and they had a special screening of it for the 40th
- 1:08:27anniversary at the movie theater in the parking lot.
- 1:08:30Oh, I'd love to be there for that.
- 1:08:32See Retro Con Rules. Not if you're living over here.
- 1:08:41When your opportunity comes along, you got to grab both both
- 1:08:44hands and hold on tight. That's what she said.
- 1:08:48Yeah. OK then.
- 1:08:52So I'm jumping ahead and giving away clue the scores on the
- 1:08:56doors then Mao, how many did you get 4 in that round Four.
- 1:09:00Well done, Mao. Making a comeback.
- 1:09:05John. One I.
- 1:09:07Was going to say I'm guessing it wasn't 4.
- 1:09:12Right. 4. 4/4. 3. Jesse. 4.
- 1:09:22Hey, you've broken your run of threes.
- 1:09:24Well done, Jesse Curtis. 4. GUI on.
- 1:09:29Three the hero. Oh, oh, there's a slip, folks.
- 1:09:32Here we go. I got to, I got to argue with
- 1:09:35Kirby on that one. And Tom?
- 1:09:393. Go on, Jesse.
- 1:09:42Oh, you were carefully. I mean 3.
- 1:09:44The the hero of Tron is Tron and he is a computer program.
- 1:09:49Flynn is not the hero of the movie.
- 1:09:52Oh. I agree with you on that one,
- 1:09:56Jesse. Okay, so at the end of four
- 1:09:59rounds, we're not even halfway through.
- 1:10:00We're really an hour and 10 minutes into it.
- 1:10:02Everybody, if anyone needs a toilet break or anything, just
- 1:10:05give me a shout. We can pause it briefly.
- 1:10:07I'm glad that we got more to go. I'm a bit nervous.
- 1:10:10Still in the lead with 17 is GUI on I'd.
- 1:10:12Better order my Chinese. Next up we have Brett with 15.
- 1:10:17Brett pulled the point back on him and then everyone else is
- 1:10:20like new. I'll give a full run down at the
- 1:10:23halfway stage after the next round.
- 1:10:26OK, here we go. The fifth round, everybody the
- 1:10:30best slash, worst character names.
- 1:10:33So this is around where half points are given, John.
- 1:10:36So you're happy that you're not scoring this?
- 1:10:39I'll have to score my own half points.
- 1:10:41So which movie and who played the character?
- 1:10:44Oh shit. So it's a half point for the
- 1:10:46movie, half point for the character.
- 1:10:47Could it not be one-on-one? No.
- 1:10:49No, sorry, sorry. This is this is being scored at
- 1:10:5350 points, John. I'm not going 55.
- 1:10:54That's just madness. So.
- 1:10:55So you're going to give us a character name and we actually
- 1:10:58made the movie The movie? And who played that character,
- 1:11:01right? OK.
- 1:11:02That might just don't Batman us. OK, here we go.
- 1:11:08Spurgeon, Tanner. I think I'll just go and go to
- 1:11:22the Chinese and come back. OK #2 Juan Sanchez, Villalobos
- 1:11:31Ramirez. I actually remember that I've
- 1:11:35got. No idea, be good.
- 1:11:41These aren't like random B characters or anything like
- 1:11:43that. These are like main characters,
- 1:11:44just so everyone's aware. Even if I'd watched that movie
- 1:11:4810 times, I wouldn't. I wouldn't remember the name of
- 1:11:52the. Character like that?
- 1:11:56OK 3 Xenia on top except forgotten the name.
- 1:12:10Do we have to? Name we get.
- 1:12:14So the ACT film 5.3 if there were like multiple, you need the
- 1:12:20name of the film, the full name. I'm not taking the generalized
- 1:12:24name which. One is.
- 1:12:26It This is a professional quiz, Mal.
- 1:12:30Well then I've gone. I know I'm wrong already.
- 1:12:32OK, NUM #4 MOT Williams. First appearance.
- 1:12:43Oh boy, oh boy. Shit.
- 1:12:47When you've never. Heard it.
- 1:12:49When you've never heard a name before and somebody says first
- 1:12:51appearance. And #5 Jean villain.
- 1:13:11Well, I won't have to worry about half points.
- 1:13:15Does anyone need any of those again or should we go through
- 1:13:17them all again? Yeah, need need them all again.
- 1:13:20Number one Spurgeon Tanner #2 Juan Sanchez, Villalobos Ramirez
- 1:13:34#3 Zenya on a top #4 MOT Williams first appearance #5
- 1:13:47Jean Villain. Somebody just heard Star Wars.
- 1:13:57Someone's got a jawa on. Yeah, where's the Jawa coming
- 1:14:00from? I'm.
- 1:14:02Presuming that's a text alert or something.
- 1:14:04Somebody in? My office is what was the the
- 1:14:06it's. Most funny in a way.
- 1:14:07The on a tap thing. What was that?
- 1:14:09Can you go back? That is Zenya on a top Zenya.
- 1:14:14OK. All right.
- 1:14:22Sorry, drunk is my customs. Debbie does.
- 1:14:24Dallas is not any of the answers here, so that's a no.
- 1:14:27It's behind the green door this time, Alexander.
- 1:14:29Yeah, right then shall we? Let's have a go at these these
- 1:14:36buttes, John. Let's.
- 1:14:42Have you got any of these, John? Do I need to include you in any
- 1:14:44of this? I just have an answer for number
- 1:14:463 and #5 SO. You can.
- 1:14:48I'll skip past you. Curtis Spurgeon, Tanner.
- 1:14:52I recognize the name and I even see the actor, but I don't
- 1:14:56remember the movies. Older bald guy.
- 1:15:01I got nothing. I can't.
- 1:15:02I can't think of it. Oh, I have no clue.
- 1:15:09I love the. Smell.
- 1:15:10That's fine. This is probably the trickiest
- 1:15:12round in the quiz, so that's fine.
- 1:15:15Yeah, nothing for this one, no. Hey, go on.
- 1:15:20I've got movie Nikki Pimpa. Kirby's got my favorite category
- 1:15:25listed. I I googled it and I still don't
- 1:15:28know it. Brett.
- 1:15:36Deep Impact. Robert Duvall.
- 1:15:38Fuck, I was gonna say. OK, Jesse.
- 1:15:42I thought of the actor, but I didn't.
- 1:15:45Yeah, all I got I all I'm seeing is, you know, Old West Biff
- 1:15:49Tanner and it's Tanner, not Tanner.
- 1:15:53So I'm it's not even Back to the Future 3 so.
- 1:15:57That's a no then, Mao. I did think of the actor, but I
- 1:16:04did not think before it was said.
- 1:16:06I did not think of the movie. Yeah, sorry, Curtis, Brett,
- 1:16:09you're correct. It is Robert Duvall in Deep
- 1:16:11Impact. So point for Brett and half a
- 1:16:14point for Gwion. Lovely job mate.
- 1:16:17Great film. I'm coming for you Gwion.
- 1:16:19Not a good. Film.
- 1:16:22I hate being. It's not a good film Mal.
- 1:16:24You me outside did. It's much better than
- 1:16:26Armageddon. That's all.
- 1:16:28It needs to be quite like Armageddon.
- 1:16:30Cheesy, cheesy crap. OK #2 I will be.
- 1:16:34This is my favorite film of all time so I will be deeply
- 1:16:37disappointed by anyone that gets this wrong.
- 1:16:39Really gone Mal. So it felt familiar.
- 1:16:46And the only thing that came to mind was Mandy for Timpkin and
- 1:16:50the Princess for Hyde because he's got a long name.
- 1:16:53But yeah, no, no, I'm happy to say now that's wrong.
- 1:16:57John. You didn't have anything for
- 1:16:58this digit, Curtis. Sean Connery, Highlander.
- 1:17:03Paul. See one of my favorite films.
- 1:17:07Because he's called Ramirez for most of it, isn't he?
- 1:17:12Thank you, Paul. Tom.
- 1:17:13Yeah, nothing for this. Gwion.
- 1:17:16Highlander Sean Connery. Brett.
- 1:17:21Highlander Sean Connery. Jesse.
- 1:17:26Good, bad and the ugly. That's all I got.
- 1:17:29It is Sean Connery's character in Highlander.
- 1:17:31I vote that Gwion has to answer first for all remaining
- 1:17:34questions. I'm after.
- 1:17:38That suspecting cheating are we could it's OK or do you like do
- 1:17:41you want to copy his. Answers P16 dozen or.
- 1:17:47Whatever, now's the time that you and I start tanking it.
- 1:17:53Fuck. Right #3 Mao, let's start with
- 1:17:56you on this one. You knew this film series.
- 1:17:58So Zen. You're on a top.
- 1:17:59Yeah. I couldn't remember which one.
- 1:18:01It's James Bond and Frankie Hansen.
- 1:18:06Okie, Dokie, John. The fifth element, but obviously
- 1:18:11not. Okie, Dokie.
- 1:18:13Well, miles wrong most of the time.
- 1:18:14So you're not necessarily wrong, Curtis.
- 1:18:17Yeah, I I know it's not Fifth Element and I've never seen a
- 1:18:20James Bond film and I have no idea who the fuck this is so.
- 1:18:24You've never seen a James Bond film.
- 1:18:25No. Well, I think I saw one of the
- 1:18:27Sean Connery ones and I didn't like it.
- 1:18:29I think I watched like half of it.
- 1:18:31They're all different, each actors, different films I do.
- 1:18:33Could you give them give them a go?
- 1:18:36OK. I have the box there and I just.
- 1:18:38I still don't know any names. Paul.
- 1:18:45He had no idea on this one. No idea, sorry, I just want
- 1:18:49another much better bond name that she used.
- 1:18:51Tom. Yeah, I went with Fam Ki Anson
- 1:18:54and I went with Goldeneye. Gwion.
- 1:18:59Goldeneye fam Ki Anson. Brett.
- 1:19:05Golden eyes. Famkee Jansen, there you.
- 1:19:08Go. Jesse.
- 1:19:11I must golden eye Famkee Hansen. Correct.
- 1:19:13Amazing how the last people all get it right.
- 1:19:16That's weird. That's all I'll.
- 1:19:19Start. I'll start in the second-half of
- 1:19:20the group for the next one. Interesting.
- 1:19:22OK. McWilliams Gwion, let's start
- 1:19:28with you. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,
- 1:19:30Indiana Jones and the Shia LaBeouf.
- 1:19:34There's nothing to do with Wales, is there?
- 1:19:39I actually a guy I went to school with in a pub in London.
- 1:19:42There you go, there's a connection.
- 1:19:47Brett. Kingdom of the Crystal Scott
- 1:19:55pile above. Jesse, same thing.
- 1:20:00Kingdom of the Crystal called Shile above.
- 1:20:02Tom. Yeah, I had the same thing, but
- 1:20:04I worked really hard to erase that from my memory, so thanks
- 1:20:06for coming out. Who?
- 1:20:10Doesn't love the monkeys swimming, swinging from, you
- 1:20:13know, vine to vine. Gorgeous Paul.
- 1:20:17Same thing. King of the Crystal Skull.
- 1:20:20Indiana Jones. Cool, Curtis.
- 1:20:23No, I had no idea. I thought it was that that high
- 1:20:26pitched comedian, but that's Katt Williams.
- 1:20:29It's not Mutt Williams. So yeah, no clue on this one.
- 1:20:33John. No clue.
- 1:20:36No Mal. No.
- 1:20:41No, it is Shia LaBeouf and Indiana Jones and Christmas
- 1:20:45Skull. Crystal Skull, Christmas Skull,
- 1:20:47Christmas Skull. Who'd have made it more
- 1:20:49interesting, to be honest? Indiana Jones versus the Aliens.
- 1:20:54Never watched it so. Don't.
- 1:20:58OK, and the last one in this round and officially reaching
- 1:21:00the halfway point in the quiz. Let's start with you, Jean
- 1:21:04Velain. Jean-Claude Van Damme in The
- 1:21:07Expendables. Okie, dokie, oh, Brett's gone.
- 1:21:11Welcome back to Brett Jesse. No idea.
- 1:21:17OK, Brett. Jean-Claude Van Damme,
- 1:21:21Expendables and Expendables too. Okie dokie Mao.
- 1:21:25No idea, John. Nope, Curtis.
- 1:21:32I'm pretty sure he wasn't in the first one.
- 1:21:35I think it's Jean-Claude Van Damme, Expendables 2.
- 1:21:40Paul. I'm going to pass on this one to
- 1:21:44just no problem. 0 Tom Yeah. I'm going to be honest and say
- 1:21:490, but I think Curtis has got it.
- 1:21:52OK, it is Jean-Claude Van Damme, an amazing use of the name
- 1:21:55there, Jean Vilain. And it is Expendables 2.
- 1:22:00So you need Expendable 2 for the half point.
- 1:22:02Do I, do I get a quarter point because I said both of them?
- 1:22:06If your half point calculators out there.
- 1:22:09I want my quarter. Point for saying both of them.
- 1:22:11No, you get a half point for two.
- 1:22:13You said two, it's one, but then he gets full.
- 1:22:17So how do how do we score this? So if we get a full point, if we
- 1:22:20got both right. Yeah, and half a point if you
- 1:22:23got one or the other. Oh yeah.
- 1:22:26So, John, I'm thinking it's a zero for you for that one.
- 1:22:31That's zero Mao. Half a point, Paul.
- 1:22:42I guess half a point for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
- 1:22:46Cool, Jesse. 2. Curtis. 4.
- 1:22:54Way Curtis Gwion. 4/7, 42 half points and three correct points.
- 1:23:08You know he's doing well when you start booing him for getting
- 1:23:104. Out of five, wait.
- 1:23:13How did you get? 4. 24 points for me.
- 1:23:15Two half points. And Brett?
- 1:23:18It depends on if you give me full credit for Expendables and
- 1:23:21Expendables too. Yeah, that's fine.
- 1:23:22There's an answer. OK, then 5.
- 1:23:24Yeah, wait a minute. I I kind of my, I thought it was
- 1:23:26one point for each. It's half point for each.
- 1:23:28So OK, so then I'm two sorry. I was given 2 actors and two
- 1:23:33movies so. Thank you, Jesse for picking up
- 1:23:35Curtis on that one. No into podcast rivalry there at
- 1:23:40all. I'm not, I'm not trying to, I
- 1:23:41wasn't, I was just like, wait, I, I you got more than one wrong
- 1:23:45and. No, I got 2 actors in two
- 1:23:46movies, so I I added that up and that's four.
- 1:23:49I didn't realize I yeah, I'm stupid.
- 1:23:51Let me just toss up the scores out, everybody.
- 1:23:53We can get the halfway point scores here.
- 1:23:54Are you going to be able to add mine together, Rich?
- 1:23:58I was hoping that those would be more worth one each so that we I
- 1:24:01can kind of climb out of that hole, but.
- 1:24:05When you're ready to announce the halfway scores, let me know
- 1:24:07Rich, I'll I'll play you in. This is good.
- 1:24:17I like streaming. Listen to a guy it.
- 1:24:19Is yeah, me. That's my sheet.
- 1:24:20Paper. Yeah.
- 1:24:22You know, if you had it on a spreadsheet, you could just
- 1:24:24enter the numbers of it. I didn't.
- 1:24:25Want to I didn't want to be tipping away so right OK, I'm
- 1:24:28ready John. I'm ready this.
- 1:24:30My average at 3 point. So after 5 rounds in joint last
- 1:24:39place, we have Paul and Mal on 7 1/2 points.
- 1:24:43Yeah, now. We then we then have John on 9
- 1:24:47so both wow. So let me play for.
- 1:24:51Well, if you do a quiz like a more general quiz rather than
- 1:24:55you know your phantom. Fantasy.
- 1:24:59That. Every True Nerd should have
- 1:25:02seen. Tied for fourth, we have Curtis
- 1:25:06and Tom on 14 points. In standalone third, we have
- 1:25:12Jesse on 15 and then the top two we have Brett on 20 and Gwen on
- 1:25:1721. I'm going to, I'm going to
- 1:25:21dispute half of Brett's point because he said two Expendables
- 1:25:24movies when only one of them was correct.
- 1:25:27I I tried Curtis. Yeah, don't argue with the host.
- 1:25:31What did you say about the host being right at all times?
- 1:25:33I, I everyone. Got that?
- 1:25:35Yeah, I don't know. I have something about it.
- 1:25:38Yeah, OK. Does anyone need a toilet break
- 1:25:40or anything? That's weird.
- 1:25:41Just reached halfway point. I think GUI on does, but the
- 1:25:43rest of us can keep going. OK, round 6.
- 1:25:51So this this is a particular favorite of mine.
- 1:25:53This is movie brain teasers. So basically there's pictures on
- 1:25:56the screen that combine to make a film title.
- 1:25:59Yes, basically. So say what you see, but hold
- 1:26:01on. So this is a picture 1.
- 1:26:05It's a pic not drawn by me. This is just pictures.
- 1:26:07Oh yeah, I was going to say yeah, combine the.
- 1:26:10I've got you there again. They might be in the left.
- 1:26:11Corner of the slide, they might be in the right corner.
- 1:26:14OK, they might be in the. Bottom OK, can you explain this
- 1:26:17again? I'm sorry, yes.
- 1:26:18So it's going to be a there. Will be a.
- 1:26:20There will be a picture of various items on the screen.
- 1:26:23When you combine them, it gives you the the movie title.
- 1:26:26The movie title. OK, gotcha.
- 1:26:28Yeah. OK.
- 1:26:30Gotcha. So #1 are.
- 1:26:32Are these? Are.
- 1:26:38These like puns and something. No, no, these are.
- 1:26:41Just literally what you see. Add it.
- 1:26:43That's the movie, OK? It's like Thing Bats.
- 1:26:45Right, Yes, I got it. I got.
- 1:26:52It oh, what's happening in the left picture and then add it to
- 1:26:54what's happening in the right. That's the movie and you need
- 1:27:01both or whatever the full title. There's no halves in this one.
- 1:27:04OK. OK #2 this is the most difficult
- 1:27:08of them all. Holy crap.
- 1:27:30OK #3 hopefully we'll get this one.
- 1:27:47I think it's a cop out using the letters.
- 1:27:50All right, John, whatever. I'm just bitter now.
- 1:27:56You're hiding it well, OK #4 And finally.
- 1:28:17Hold on, hold on. Go back to that four again.
- 1:28:19Sorry, it's going through process here.
- 1:28:26OK. Is the month important?
- 1:28:29I'm not telling. You pictures important.
- 1:28:31Say what you see, yeah? The pictures are important.
- 1:28:35And #5. Is this all word or?
- 1:28:50Couldn't be easier. Oh.
- 1:29:00There we go. I see the light bulb over Mel's
- 1:29:03head. Yeah.
- 1:29:07This isn't fair. This is math.
- 1:29:11Freaking weird math. I mean, firstly, it's maths, not
- 1:29:15math, but yeah, OK. Sorry, arithmetics.
- 1:29:22Yeah. OK, shall I go through them
- 1:29:24again? Yeah.
- 1:29:26Yeah, OK #1 #2 #3 #4 and #5 and when somebody inevitably needs
- 1:29:56one again, just let me know. 3 take.
- 1:30:05Me a second. To hear that.
- 1:30:06Thank you. I meant 2 actually. #3 please.
- 1:30:12Yeah. And then when you're done with
- 1:30:13that 5. Nope.
- 1:30:44I'm not sure what answers you guys are going to give, but
- 1:30:45Keith Holven, who's watching us #4 is not the classic film
- 1:30:48calendar magician. Sorry, Keith.
- 1:30:50I've. Got to change my answer now.
- 1:30:55Die hard dough 4 dough harder is also incorrect.
- 1:31:03OK, are we ready for the answers?
- 1:31:05Please. Sure, maybe ready's not right,
- 1:31:07but OK. John Fight Club, Curtis.
- 1:31:13Yeah, Fight Club. Paul Fight Club, what's on?
- 1:31:20Boxing. Pitching wedge?
- 1:31:21No, I got fights. You took a joke.
- 1:31:25You took a joke. Quill.
- 1:31:28Fights Club. Brett.
- 1:31:31Yeah, it's Fight Club. Jesse.
- 1:31:34Tickle fights, no fight fights. A Mal Yeah.
- 1:31:38Fight Club. It is indeed Fight Club.
- 1:31:39Well done everybody. Oh, Alexander, you're hilarious.
- 1:31:50OK #2 John, let's start with you.
- 1:31:58Thai island ills. OK, that's it.
- 1:32:02Say. Which is Titanic.
- 1:32:06Paul. That's the one I couldn't get.
- 1:32:13I'm not sure what that one is. No problem, Tom.
- 1:32:17You know, I didn't get it. No, go on.
- 1:32:20I'm going to agree with Curtsy and go Titanic.
- 1:32:23Brett. Titanic.
- 1:32:25Jesse. Titanic.
- 1:32:29OK, Mao. Titanic.
- 1:32:32It is indeed Titanic. Oh, what's the S about?
- 1:32:35So the minus the S it is what the last one?
- 1:32:45You didn't tell us the fucking symbols were supposed to mean
- 1:32:47something. We said that the stuff.
- 1:33:05No wonder he was having such a problem with Rocky.
- 1:33:09Did anyone? Did anyone not get Rocky?
- 1:33:11Be honest. Oh, she knocked him out.
- 1:33:15Go on. Oh, he's back.
- 1:33:18I'm still here. We curse wrong, you know, Up
- 1:33:22your offer to Meg. She clearly is not.
- 1:33:24Getting off, she managed to unlock the camera for a second.
- 1:33:29You're dead, OK? #4 Mao.
- 1:33:35Come on, Mao, don't let us down. I'm going Practical Magic
- 1:33:40because it's the only magic film.
- 1:33:42OK, now. Now you see me.
- 1:33:46I don't know. Okie, Dokie, John.
- 1:33:48May magicians. OK, Brett.
- 1:33:52Six. This one was the hardest one of
- 1:33:56them all, but I finally settled on Matrix.
- 1:33:59Okie, Dokie. I went may magic.
- 1:34:04OK, pull. Matrix.
- 1:34:07And Jesse I. I don't want to play anymore.
- 1:34:15I didn't have anything. I didn't get it.
- 1:34:17No, I didn't get. It it is matrix.
- 1:34:20Wow. That's good.
- 1:34:21Well done, James. That's a really difficult.
- 1:34:23One that was the hardest one rich that.
- 1:34:25Was very well done on that one. OK, and #5?
- 1:34:31This was almost easier than. The pass.
- 1:34:36Come on, John. I got this one, yeah.
- 1:34:38Yeah. OK, Quill.
- 1:34:40OH. Now.
- 1:34:44I'm not going. I don't want the point, but I
- 1:34:46get it now because I see the fucking minus.
- 1:34:51That was my first guess. That was my first guess and I
- 1:34:54was like, no. Anytime we can get John Kurtz
- 1:34:57and it's a win for everybody. Oh, Mao Forrest Gump.
- 1:35:04It's getting out that helped me get the Forrest Gump.
- 1:35:09Tom. Yeah, I got that one.
- 1:35:11Forrest Gump. Brett.
- 1:35:13Forrest Gump. And Jesse?
- 1:35:16IPad G Stumps. I thought it was an iPad too,
- 1:35:21Jesse. It is the.
- 1:35:22Forrest Gump. Well, then everybody popped John
- 1:35:28again. Kirbys right?
- 1:35:28You definitely need to clip that for the intro with from John.
- 1:35:33We will not be clipping anything for the intro.
- 1:35:40See the fucking minus St. Yeah, This is why I'm like a
- 1:35:47Legion scan but not on the show. This is the one that This is
- 1:35:51the. When I saw this one is when the
- 1:35:53the Titanic one finally clicked for me.
- 1:35:55Yeah. So yeah, John, how many points
- 1:35:58did you get? Two, the easy ones.
- 1:36:02Mal at 4:00 on that one. Oh, hey, well done Mal.
- 1:36:06No favouritism, but well done, Mal.
- 1:36:07Come on, Brett. 5. Paul. 4.
- 1:36:14I know I. Was from pulling for you Jesse 4
- 1:36:20Awesome good score save up from John Curtis.
- 1:36:23Four, kicking myself on the matrix.
- 1:36:25Gwen. Yeah, 4.
- 1:36:29And Tom? 3. 3 So John is if you see the
- 1:36:33loser of that round, well done, John 2.
- 1:36:35Thank you. So scores.
- 1:36:39Oh, we have a joint first now, everybody.
- 1:36:42Breaking news, Gwion and Brett are tied on 25.
- 1:36:48He's really new in Gwion. He is.
- 1:36:50He is after saying that they're hearing that noise.
- 1:36:59OK then right then the next round war movies I.
- 1:37:06Hate war? Is this a picture round?
- 1:37:08No, the last round is to pick next picture round.
- 1:37:12So #1 which war movie features the characters Private Ribbon,
- 1:37:17Captain Miller, and T4 Medic Wade?
- 1:37:33Familiar. Don't say it in the comments.
- 1:37:44OK #2 Enemy at the Gates, the 2001 movie about the siege of
- 1:37:49Stalingrad in the Second World War, features 2 snipers facing
- 1:37:52off against each other. Jude Law plays the Russian
- 1:37:55sniper who plays the German sniper.
- 1:37:58Oh. Shit.
- 1:38:12My wife is shaking a head at me at the moment with the standard
- 1:38:15of questions in this. I agree, Kerry.
- 1:38:19John agrees. I've never agreed more Kerry.
- 1:38:25OK #3 which movie set in the Second World War stars Sylvester
- 1:38:30Stallone and the world famous football or soccer player LA?
- 1:38:39What? Oh, oh, what's the name of that?
- 1:38:45I've gone. Blank.
- 1:38:48I love the movie as well. It's a fun film.
- 1:38:52It's a terrible film, but it's a fun film.
- 1:38:56Oh, sounds like I'm breaking people here.
- 1:39:03I'm liking this. OK #4 Who directed 1917?
- 1:39:10In 1917. The film, 1917.
- 1:39:17Think of a director. I'm just going to say if GUI on
- 1:39:29gets this one, he is officially cheating I.
- 1:39:35Like Paul films? This was a very popular movie
- 1:39:39and I'm kicking myself not being able to think of the guy's name.
- 1:39:43I just I just had to Google the answer just to double check my
- 1:39:45own one that I wrote down and I wrote it down wrong.
- 1:39:48So. I've now corrected it right then
- 1:39:57and #5I suddenly doubted myself there, and it turns out I was
- 1:40:01right to doubt myself. Multiple choice Sean Eagan
- 1:40:05which? Which of these is not a famous
- 1:40:08movie set in the Second World War?
- 1:40:10Where eagles dare Eagle Force Bravo, The eagle has landed.
- 1:40:15This sums up the entire quiz. It's a multiple choice and
- 1:40:18nobody in their right mind has ever heard of these fucking
- 1:40:21choices. The two correct that the two
- 1:40:23actual films are superb films gone.
- 1:40:26Shame on you. It doesn't matter.
- 1:40:27Nobody's hurt, Nobody's watched them, have you?
- 1:40:30Got there. No, no, you know, tell me, the
- 1:40:33Oscar winner from four years ago?
- 1:40:35Nobody fucking knows because it's shy, but everyone, it's got
- 1:40:39to be a record. Everyone that strokes their
- 1:40:41beard and thinks, oh I know everything about movies thinks
- 1:40:43it's great, but nobody actually watches it.
- 1:40:47John hasn't got this answer correct.
- 1:40:49Yeah. Well, it's a relatable choice,
- 1:40:51so yeah. True, yeah.
- 1:40:53Yeah, we are seeing a bitter and twisted man on screen at the
- 1:40:55moment. He's he's evolving.
- 1:40:58Well, I can't contribute to the quiz.
- 1:41:00I'm going to contribute to hopefully entertaining one or
- 1:41:02three people. Kirby's got it correctly in the
- 1:41:04comments. It is Eagle Slayer, correct?
- 1:41:07Kirby. OK.
- 1:41:11Is there any any of those again? No.
- 1:41:15Just pause. On #3 for a little bit and give
- 1:41:17my brain because it's really going to make me cry when I when
- 1:41:20you. This one I actually know as
- 1:41:24well, but I can't remember the name.
- 1:41:25I'm in the same boat as now. I've just.
- 1:41:27Gone Yeah, so which movie set in the Second World War * Sylvester
- 1:41:29Stallone and the world famous and the greatest players ever.
- 1:41:32Soccer slash football player Pele plus many others.
- 1:41:41OK, any other questions need repeating.
- 1:41:46No. Or. 4 is who directed 1917.
- 1:41:52Sorry #3. We just on that which movie and
- 1:41:56I'm also Mr. Stallone or Manny 2 was enemy at the gates.
- 1:42:02Oh yeah, OK. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 1 was The
- 1:42:05movie features the characters Private Ribbon, Captain Miller
- 1:42:08and T4 Medic Wade. OK.
- 1:42:10OK, and #5 was the Yeah. OK.
- 1:42:12Should we just go through this then, gents?
- 1:42:13Yeah. Sure.
- 1:42:15Here we go, this is clearly the most unpopular round.
- 1:42:17I mean, I'd apologise to any of you.
- 1:42:19John can F off so. Now you're sensing yourself.
- 1:42:25Wow, as a which warm show did I actually have them out?
- 1:42:31OK John, can feck write off. To be sure, to be sure.
- 1:42:40Right, which move? Which war movie features the
- 1:42:42characters Private Riben, Captain Miller and T4 medic Wade
- 1:42:45Mao? I went with Saving Private Ryan,
- 1:42:50but OK, John. Platoon, I know it's wrong.
- 1:42:55Curtis. Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:42:57Paul. Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:43:01Tom. Yeah, same Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:43:04Ryan. Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:43:07Right. Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:43:09Jesse. Saving Private Ryan.
- 1:43:12It is Saving Private Ryan my everybody.
- 1:43:15My best friend from home in Ireland was an extra in that.
- 1:43:19Oh really? They shot it in Ireland.
- 1:43:21Do you get bonus points for that?
- 1:43:24They did the whole the whole intro, the whole 20 minutes and
- 1:43:29most of the movie. Oh, so on the beach scene, OK.
- 1:43:31All the beach stuff, you know? But the answer to #2 can arrive.
- 1:43:36Yeah, we. Haven't got over.
- 1:43:37Answers yet, dude. So yeah, go for it. 2.
- 1:43:44I think I've just remembered Enemy at the Gates.
- 1:43:46Mal, who played the German sniper.
- 1:43:47I'm going to tell you my original answer because it's one
- 1:43:49that all I remember from that movie is Rachel Vice's bum.
- 1:43:55To be honest, it's one of my favorite bits in the entire
- 1:43:57movie. Racial.
- 1:43:58Yeah. So it's it's Ed Harris, right.
- 1:44:00OK, John. Yeah, I wrote Michael
- 1:44:03Fassbender. OK, no, who's?
- 1:44:07Dinging, yeah. Some stop dinging, Curtis.
- 1:44:11Ed Harris. Paul let.
- 1:44:17Me write down Matt Damon. I don't.
- 1:44:19Know OK, Tom? I don't think it is Ed Harris.
- 1:44:23It's like I can picture the guy. This is not helping, but I don't
- 1:44:26know it. So basically I've got nothing.
- 1:44:27He's got dark hair, dark eyes, glasses.
- 1:44:30I don't know his name. OK, so the mystery man.
- 1:44:33There we go. Ed.
- 1:44:36Paris, Brett. For the life of me, I was
- 1:44:42thinking it was Bruce Willis, but it's Ed Harris.
- 1:44:46Jesse. No, I don't know.
- 1:44:52It is Ed Harris who's great in everything he does, quite
- 1:44:55frankly, and he's very good in. That I can just see the shaved
- 1:44:59head and and for the life of me I was confusing it until you re
- 1:45:03re looked at it. For me, not a great film, but
- 1:45:07those two are very good. OK, we OK, this will be
- 1:45:11interesting. Mal, have I got an answer for
- 1:45:13this one? Has it broken you?
- 1:45:14Let's say over the top, but it's not.
- 1:45:18That's an arm wrestling. Film Al So it's definitely I'd
- 1:45:20love to see. Pele arm wrestle.
- 1:45:23That's that's World War One. Real.
- 1:45:27That's escape to victory. That's OK, Jesse.
- 1:45:34I'm pretty sure it's wrong, but I wrote down Cobra.
- 1:45:37Okey dokey. Again, that's modern copper.
- 1:45:39But no, Brett. I said victory.
- 1:45:43OK. But that's not the full title.
- 1:45:46No, Tom, Yeah. This is a British Christmas
- 1:45:52institution, right? Escape the victory.
- 1:45:54It is indeed, absolutely. Whether you're right or not, I
- 1:45:56don't know. But that you know that film is a
- 1:45:58Christian British Paul. Never seen it.
- 1:46:01No I don't. Didn't know.
- 1:46:03Curtis. Victory and I really love it.
- 1:46:08Victory, did you say? Oh, do you think this is called
- 1:46:11victory in America, Rich? Oh geez, I'm Googling it now.
- 1:46:16I can tell you 100% it is victory, at least here.
- 1:46:21John, what do you think it is? I couldn't remember, but as soon
- 1:46:25as somebody said the name. So yeah, victory counts because
- 1:46:30it's. It is DB correct?
- 1:46:33Yes, I will say it's escaped to victory, but I will take victory
- 1:46:36because America does it weirdly, apparently.
- 1:46:38We love you, America. Yes, just like we add extra
- 1:46:41letters or rearrange them. We love the rest of you.
- 1:46:44They'll never understand. What's still better than the
- 1:46:47random French names that they put on movies in France?
- 1:46:50They don't actually escape. We can't call it Escape to
- 1:46:53victory. Spoiler alert now.
- 1:47:00OK #4 who? Who directed 7/19/17?
- 1:47:04And it wasn't the person I put down 1st GUI on.
- 1:47:07Sam Mendes. Brett.
- 1:47:10Sam Mendes. Jesse.
- 1:47:12The cheaters, both of them, right?
- 1:47:14Produced. Cheaters, cheaters.
- 1:47:16Even if they're right yet, Curtis Brett's just copying GUI
- 1:47:20on now just as random. You got to maintain that.
- 1:47:24Actually in the same room. I know I'm wrong, but I put down
- 1:47:27Christopher Nolan. Okie, dokie Mao, I put Clint
- 1:47:31Eastwood. I had no idea, John.
- 1:47:35No pass. Curtis.
- 1:47:37The correct answer is George Lucas.
- 1:47:40Okie, Dokie, Paul, Guy Ritchie. Brilliant.
- 1:47:45And Tom? I got this one.
- 1:47:46Sam Mendes. Yeah, Yeah.
- 1:47:48OK, yeah, it is Sam Mendes. I put Christopher Nolan down
- 1:47:51myself, first of all, and then just Googled it quickly and
- 1:47:52went, oh, God, no, it's not Christopher Nolan.
- 1:47:54It is Sam Mendes. So correct, guys, you've got Sam
- 1:47:57Mendes. It's a fabulous film too.
- 1:48:00Really good film. Who knows?
- 1:48:03OK. And lastly, which of these is
- 1:48:05not a famous movie set in Second World War?
- 1:48:09John, obviously you didn't get any of these.
- 1:48:10So which one did you guess? C Eagle.
- 1:48:13Okey dokey, Curtis. Always go the middle.
- 1:48:16BB OK, Paul. A We're eagles there.
- 1:48:22Yeah, that that does, Tom. Yeah, I I love a when eagles
- 1:48:26there. So yeah, I'm going to go with B
- 1:48:29Eagle Force Bravo. Yeah, Eagle Force Bravo.
- 1:48:34So. Eagle Force Bravo.
- 1:48:36Jesse. Eagle Force Bravo, Mal.
- 1:48:42As people are saying, be out loud.
- 1:48:43I know they're right but I put C.
- 1:48:46It's very honest to you. Mal and Eagle Force Bravo is the
- 1:48:49correct answer. The Eagle Has Landed is an
- 1:48:51amazing film starring Oh God I've forgotten his name.
- 1:48:57Oh, negative points for you, but.
- 1:49:01It's about Germans infiltrating the UK to try and assassinate
- 1:49:04Churchill. Great film.
- 1:49:05And where Eagles dare, Richard Burton, Clint Eastwood taking on
- 1:49:09the Nazis up in the mountain in Austria.
- 1:49:12Great film. Right then.
- 1:49:15So let's get the hopefully honest scores from everybody.
- 1:49:19Mal 2. I mean, that's a lie, isn't it,
- 1:49:23Mal? Come on.
- 1:49:23What's your honest score, John? Oh my God.
- 1:49:33OK, Brett. 5. Five.
- 1:49:37Just to be clear, Marlon, John, I'm not that much older than
- 1:49:39you. 2 We grew up in the same part of the world.
- 1:49:41I presented the show because I'd know shit about shit and I can
- 1:49:45just waffle away and pass it through. 11, Jesse. 2.
- 1:49:56Curtis. 29 4. 4 Gwheon. Five.
- 1:50:05I'm sorry. And Tom?
- 1:50:083. OK, so it's Gwheon and Brett
- 1:50:12just streaking head now, still tied up on 30 points each.
- 1:50:21John got bored with his own show and left.
- 1:50:25Wow, one of my cats is scratching at the door but she
- 1:50:29won't come in and the rest of my family have gone somewhere so.
- 1:50:33OK. Round 8, we've got three more
- 1:50:35rounds to go. We're getting that.
- 1:50:37So this is just random questions.
- 1:50:38There's no theme to this particularly.
- 1:50:39It's just a normal question. Is the last round worth like
- 1:50:42quadruple points? No.
- 1:50:45Random questions OK of movies you've absolutely never.
- 1:50:49Seen. Three people watch them,
- 1:50:51including. I try to keep this relatively
- 1:50:53mainstream. Relatively mainstream?
- 1:50:55I haven't heard that. There isn't one movie I've
- 1:50:57fucking heard of in the last four rounds.
- 1:51:00But I didn't really, I should have taken into account you
- 1:51:02brought up in Ireland, John. So it was probably just like,
- 1:51:04you know, limited TV and that's all.
- 1:51:06I'll apologize. We had two.
- 1:51:07Television stations until 1987 and we got AVCR in 1990.
- 1:51:14That was probably before I got AVC.
- 1:51:16Which I just used to tape comedy shows off.
- 1:51:19BBC should have been more. We've got AVCR so late.
- 1:51:21It was still a top loader. If you press the big button on
- 1:51:23the front and it popped top loading tape out, it was so far
- 1:51:27behind. Everybody Megan, no Disney, I
- 1:51:30will bomb. If this is, it's not a.
- 1:51:35Disney ride. I'm sorry, it's not a Disney
- 1:51:37ride and there isn't a Disney ranch.
- 1:51:39OK, question one. Which movie starred Sandra
- 1:51:42Bullock, Wesley Snipes and Sylvester Stallone?
- 1:51:45What? What's this?
- 1:51:46This general question? Random.
- 1:51:47Just random. Yeah.
- 1:51:49No. No theme.
- 1:51:49I know nobody listens to the question, but it's random.
- 1:51:52I love this one. Tripped me up in the miners
- 1:51:56thing. Finally, a movie.
- 1:51:57I've seen you. Know there we go.
- 1:51:59You better get this right now, Paul.
- 1:52:00It's the high quality brain stretching movies, isn't it
- 1:52:04Paul? They're the ones.
- 1:52:09I got so excited I just spilt my wine topping up my glass again.
- 1:52:12It's like, Oh no. I'm just excited to know that
- 1:52:15Rich watches good movies too, so.
- 1:52:19OK #2 Which actor links Batman to Jaws?
- 1:52:32Which Batman? Oh.
- 1:52:34I'm telling you, it's going to give a clue, isn't it?
- 1:52:39It's some guy in the crowd. No, it's not.
- 1:52:42It is. It is a it is a main character
- 1:52:44in both franchises. It's.
- 1:52:47Going to be. One of the older Jaws movies
- 1:52:48that barely anyone watch. So isn't it?
- 1:52:52Like the original Jaws Mail was literally like the dimension of
- 1:52:55the summer blockbuster. So that's why I've said it's
- 1:52:58going to be one of the older Jaws movies that now are
- 1:53:00watched. Aren't all the Jaws movies older
- 1:53:04like? Yeah, one of the later ones.
- 1:53:06You mean Mel? Sorry.
- 1:53:08Yeah, Yeah, sorry. Yeah, Later.
- 1:53:11Miles feeling so badly he's lost the ability to speak and be
- 1:53:13coherent. So I will translate for it
- 1:53:15there. Are only two Jaws movies?
- 1:53:17There are. Four at least.
- 1:53:18Yeah, there's loads. What?
- 1:53:21No. #3 #3 is in three days. Got to squeeze that lemon.
- 1:53:30OK #3 which of these horror movies he franchises has the
- 1:53:33most movies A Friday the 13th, BA, Nightmare on Elm Street, or
- 1:53:38C Halloween? I'm sorry I didn't use a sheet
- 1:53:51of paper to romantis because I could burn it after at.
- 1:53:55Least you can guess on this one, John.
- 1:53:57Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm happy we'll wipe
- 1:53:59your. Backside with it.
- 1:54:04That might have to wait till the morning then.
- 1:54:06I would like to apologise in advance about the next question.
- 1:54:08It's a horrible one, but. It's just keeping with the team.
- 1:54:12That's a shame, yeah. OK, so #4 at the start of Tom
- 1:54:18Cruise's Hitman movie Collateral, Jason Statham hands
- 1:54:22Tom a briefcase. Jason is playing a character
- 1:54:25from one of his own movies in the scene.
- 1:54:27Which movie is that character from?
- 1:54:32So I didn't realize this the other day, but it's actually a
- 1:54:33crossover character and Tom Cruise.
- 1:54:35I like that, but there's only one Jason Statham film I can
- 1:54:38think of where he has a briefcase.
- 1:54:44I'm probably wrong by the way. Both films are great fun too, I
- 1:54:52just. I might not be wrong.
- 1:54:55Jason's Statham film I can think of so.
- 1:55:01Snatch. Yeah, now I want to snatch
- 1:55:05crossover. Was he?
- 1:55:10OK and #5 The actor originally originally cast to portray
- 1:55:16Wolverine in the original X-Men movies was not Hugh Jackman.
- 1:55:20It was do Gray Scott. Scott had to drop out from
- 1:55:23filming though, as another movie he was starring in overran in
- 1:55:26production. What was the other movie?
- 1:55:29I heard about this. Recently, what movie meant that
- 1:55:32we had Hugh Jackman as Wolverine for all these years?
- 1:55:36Oh my goodness, it was a Turkey. He was one.
- 1:55:43He was one of the main characters in the movie.
- 1:55:44Just be clear. It wasn't like some sort of.
- 1:55:47Random. Oh, because?
- 1:55:47Because Wolverine isn't really a great main character.
- 1:55:51No, no, no. But Duke Grace Scott hasn't been
- 1:55:53in an awful lot. He was one of the main
- 1:55:55characters in the film. If they're already filming, he
- 1:55:57probably couldn't get out. Of it, I don't even know who
- 1:55:59Duke Grace Scott is. He's a Scottish actor.
- 1:56:01He was. The guy that was almost
- 1:56:02Wolverine. But I I see that.
- 1:56:05Thank you. Yeah.
- 1:56:06Appreciate it. You'd know him if you saw him.
- 1:56:08He's in all. Sorts I can't.
- 1:56:15Remember which one's which. That's my problem.
- 1:56:18He's he's just got the answer right on this. 50 Shades of do
- 1:56:21grey correct this. Nice.
- 1:56:25I like this one. Do grey sounds like an animal
- 1:56:29from Star Wars. He.
- 1:56:31Does, isn't it? Maybe I watched too many ROM
- 1:56:34coms with my wife. You know, maybe that's my
- 1:56:36problem. I think for good reason here.
- 1:56:39He's he, I'm sorry, you said he's a what actor?
- 1:56:42He's where is he from? Scottish.
- 1:56:44The clue's in his name. Kirby put a question in the in
- 1:56:48the chat. How does Freddy VS Jason figure
- 1:56:50it counts in both franchises? Kirby.
- 1:56:54Wow. Can you read #4 again?
- 1:57:06I can't. I can't indeed.
- 1:57:08So #4 At the start of Tom Cruise's Hitman movie
- 1:57:11Collateral, Jason Statham hands Tom a briefcase.
- 1:57:15Jason is playing a character from one of his own movies in
- 1:57:17the scene. Which movie is the character
- 1:57:20from? I'm so glad you didn't ask for
- 1:57:25his character name. It's a great little bit of a
- 1:57:36inside film knowledge that I had no idea of until I was doing the
- 1:57:39quiz. Say it it had to go in.
- 1:57:43So anyone need any of the others repeating?
- 1:57:48No. Just finish it.
- 1:57:51Just get it over with. John Monster's Chinese not.
- 1:57:55Even going to get that. We've been going in two hours.
- 1:57:58Beloved God, just finish it. Just go straight to whiskey.
- 1:58:03Well, I've just about finished the first bottle of wine.
- 1:58:04I'm going straight into another one after this.
- 1:58:05This is going to be one of those days.
- 1:58:09Yeah, I'm blocking you from our group chat.
- 1:58:15I tend to be quite careful now because many years ago we had a
- 1:58:17work group chat and I sent a message to one of my close
- 1:58:21friends in work which was quite rude, calling him or something
- 1:58:26or other. And I sent it to our group chat
- 1:58:28team group chat instead. And then had to apologise the
- 1:58:31next day to everyone that I'd used that particular word in a
- 1:58:33group chat meant for our team because it was quite rude.
- 1:58:37Is that that one? That's really not acceptable in
- 1:58:39America. It is a see you next Tuesday
- 1:58:41word boy. OK, right then question one.
- 1:58:48Which movie starred Sandra Bullock, Wesley Snipes and
- 1:58:50Sylvester Stallone? Mal.
- 1:58:53Demolition Man. John.
- 1:58:55Demolition Man, Curtis Ship Movies.
- 1:58:58Demolition Man. Paul.
- 1:59:01Demolition Man. Tom.
- 1:59:04Yeah, same demolition man. Qui on.
- 1:59:07Demolition Man. Brett.
- 1:59:09Demolition Man. And Jesse?
- 1:59:14I missed Wesley Snipes name when I read this the first time and
- 1:59:18then I saw someone say it in the chat so I excluded this one as
- 1:59:21being wrong. That is extremely honest to you,
- 1:59:24Jesse. Well done.
- 1:59:26That's why we like. It it is indeed Demolition Man
- 1:59:30Terrible film, but the three of them are in it.
- 1:59:32Amazing film. I like that film.
- 1:59:35Yeah, exactly. Rather than all the other
- 1:59:37bullshit you've been done. OK, so this this this is a great
- 1:59:40question. Which actor links Batman to Jaws
- 1:59:43GUI on? Let's start with you.
- 1:59:44I'm. Going to have to go Michael
- 1:59:48Caine. Okie, Dokie.
- 1:59:50That's my own. Now I know he's cheating.
- 1:59:55It's Michael Caine. Brett, Mr. Michael.
- 1:59:57Caine, Jesse. I I wrote Michael GAO or go.
- 2:00:04How did he say his name? Mal I I guessed that Burgess
- 2:00:12Meredith because you could see some grizzled fishermen.
- 2:00:18Cool at least. Are you thinking behind that,
- 2:00:20Mal? It may or may not be right, but
- 2:00:21I like you thinking behind it, John.
- 2:00:24Move on. I'm gonna go for bonus points
- 2:00:29here. The correct answer is Michael
- 2:00:31Caine. You know, in both franchises,
- 2:00:34but also in the Adam West Batman movie, he does get bit by a
- 2:00:38shark. And so I'm going to go with I'm
- 2:00:41going to have that as my kind of bonus category answer.
- 2:00:44But the correct answer is Michael Caine.
- 2:00:46Thank. You so you're going with the
- 2:00:47shark as the bonus answer. No, I'm I'm saying Michael
- 2:00:50Caine, but bonus. More.
- 2:00:52Than one correct answer OK. Is that just because they called
- 2:00:56the the the shark? Bruce.
- 2:00:58Bruce. Wow, very good.
- 2:01:01Jesse must be acknowledge. I like it.
- 2:01:03Paul, Michael. Caine, Tom.
- 2:01:07Yeah, I didn't get Michael Caine, but now I want to go and
- 2:01:09see the Michael Caine Jaws film. So that's like.
- 2:01:11OK, the answer is Michael Caine. He is the absolute star of Jaws
- 2:01:164, which is an awful thing. He.
- 2:01:19Isn't. *. Really.
- 2:01:20Michael. Caine really Butler in Batman?
- 2:01:23Just how many bars? Went two and three Couldn't be
- 2:01:26worse. They came out with four.
- 2:01:27Considered most of the chat or most of the participants didn't
- 2:01:30even know there was a Jaws 2. So they, they, there's a famous
- 2:01:34interview, Michael Caine, where they said, why did you Jews do
- 2:01:37Jaws for It's an awful film and he was like, it is, but my
- 2:01:40paycheck paid for a very nice house for my mum.
- 2:01:43So that's why I did it. I have to go and watch that
- 2:01:46movie now. To 2nd this.
- 2:01:53Yeah. How many bonus points should I
- 2:01:55put down for that Rich? None, Curtis.
- 2:01:59Damn it. OK, worth a shot.
- 2:02:03What did Meg say? Same.
- 2:02:04Rich hasn't done many good movies in this quiz.
- 2:02:08Oh. How many bonus points does the
- 2:02:12GUI on lose for that? I'm still in Italy, but he's
- 2:02:16disqualified. Here's my name again.
- 2:02:24What? Round is this.
- 2:02:26Which of these horror movie franchises has the most
- 2:02:28franchises fit movies. Oh, oh, oh, that's.
- 2:02:33A good idea? Mal franchises I went Halloween.
- 2:02:38Halloween. OK, John.
- 2:02:42I went Halloween as well, yeah. Curtis.
- 2:02:46Man, I was thinking Halloween, but then when you guys talked
- 2:02:48about the crossovers, I'm, I'm, I'm going to go Friday the 13th.
- 2:02:53OK, Paul. Friday the 13th.
- 2:02:57Tom. I'd say definitely Halloween.
- 2:03:00Go on. Halloween.
- 2:03:02Brett. Halloween.
- 2:03:04And Jesse? Nightmare on Elm Street.
- 2:03:08OK, it is Halloween. With how many?
- 2:03:12Halloween Halloween has 13 movies, Friday, Friday the 13th
- 2:03:17has 12 and The Nightmare on Elm Street has 9.
- 2:03:21Wow. Damn it, I just thought I'd get
- 2:03:24up for second guessing myself. How the hell did they make the
- 2:03:2613 movies out of that? Because Rob, he decided he likes
- 2:03:31it. People like some people getting
- 2:03:35stabbed. Fuck OK #4.
- 2:03:41Easter Garden made a bunch of times.
- 2:03:44I love this. The start of Tom Cruise just hit
- 2:03:46my movie Collateral. Jason Statham hands Tom a
- 2:03:48briefcase. Jason is playing a character
- 2:03:50from one of his own movies in the scene.
- 2:03:52Which movie is the character from?
- 2:03:56It is indeed Megan. You're quite right.
- 2:03:58You need to make another one. Yeah, Mal, what is the movie?
- 2:04:01The only film I could think of Jason Statham carrying a
- 2:04:04briefcase is the Transporter. OK, John.
- 2:04:08Same transporter, Curtis. Transporter.
- 2:04:12Paul. The transporter.
- 2:04:15Tom. Yeah, Transporter.
- 2:04:18Go on. Transporter.
- 2:04:20Brett. Oh, and this is the one I
- 2:04:21totally thought I had wrong too. Transporter.
- 2:04:24And Jesse? Transporter.
- 2:04:29I thought this is a really difficult question, but you were
- 2:04:30all correct. It is the transporter.
- 2:04:33I couldn't think of anything else that he'd like to point out
- 2:04:35that, Guian said. Transporter.
- 2:04:39I don't think that should count. He didn't put the R at the end.
- 2:04:43If we're doing accents, bonus points.
- 2:04:45If we're doing accents, Gwen gets bonus points for that
- 2:04:47there. We go.
- 2:04:49I think that counts. That does count.
- 2:04:52Well, then we're down. But what a great little little
- 2:04:55little cameo. Random, but great.
- 2:04:57OK So what was the movie that do that cost Du Gray Scott the the
- 2:05:01eternal Wolverine role in X-Men and saved us all from quite
- 2:05:05frankly a shit actor doing it? Mal wasn't Mission Impossible
- 2:05:11three, I can't remember which one.
- 2:05:13He was the villain in John. I don't know.
- 2:05:17I did hear I did hear somewhere about this recently but I can't
- 2:05:20remember we on. Mission Impossible 2.
- 2:05:24Brett. Oh boy.
- 2:05:25Christ. Mission Impossible 2.
- 2:05:29Jesse. MI 2.
- 2:05:33Tom. Yeah, same MI 2.
- 2:05:36Paul. I don't know, never heard of
- 2:05:38Dogre Scott. I'll go with it.
- 2:05:41Curtis have. I asked everybody, Curtis, to
- 2:05:43ask you. You did not ask me.
- 2:05:45What are you saying, Curtis? Based on the information I was
- 2:05:48given on this question, I'm going to say Braveheart.
- 2:05:52Norm, did I ask you? Yeah, yeah.
- 2:05:55I've I've lost the wheel here. Here we go.
- 2:05:57It is Mission Impossible. Two.
- 2:05:58Well done, everybody. Wow.
- 2:06:00Braveheart was made like six years before this can.
- 2:06:03I get half a point. It's the only Scottish thing I
- 2:06:05know my. My mate was also in Braveheart
- 2:06:09for Christ sakes. They've found that in Ireland
- 2:06:11too. They.
- 2:06:13Can. Take which?
- 2:06:15We've seen but. They'll never take.
- 2:06:16Tax reasons, all of it. Some knowledge from the chat
- 2:06:20here from Dylan. Friday the 13th has been stuck
- 2:06:22in lawsuit held for the past 15 years so they can't do shit
- 2:06:26with. That wow.
- 2:06:27Oh, really? There you go.
- 2:06:29That would have been helpful when I was trying to answer the
- 2:06:31question, Dylan. Dylan, you can.
- 2:06:35How would that have? You can replace me in the next
- 2:06:38quiz. I'll just, I'll just sit behind
- 2:06:40the scenes doing the comments you.
- 2:06:43Probably score more John. Oh, right.
- 2:06:50So John, tell us what Pitbull score you got in that one. 2.
- 2:06:55No. Question 4.
- 2:06:57I got 2. Brett. 5.
- 2:07:02OK. Are you agree on your show We
- 2:07:03are five. That is good.
- 2:07:06Five. Unbelievable.
- 2:07:08Tom well. 4 Curtis. 3. Jesse 2 and Paul 2.
- 2:07:23Okie, dokie. So yeah, it's between Queon and
- 2:07:27Brad, let's be honest. The last round is worth 10 times
- 2:07:31the point. I can give you that you still
- 2:07:33lose. They are so far ahead.
- 2:07:35I'll be having the question that that that they do wear.
- 2:07:38If you get it right quickest you take the lead.
- 2:07:40Aren't we doing that one? Oh, I'm at this rate.
- 2:07:41I'm going to have to go up to the bloody tiebreaker, aren't I?
- 2:07:44Which I hadn't thought so, so so.
- 2:07:45Basically, we are and I could take a nap and we, one of the
- 2:07:48two of us could. Still win.
- 2:07:49This is why Jeopardy raised as the point total.
- 2:07:52Each round, there's no way Curtis can win, right?
- 2:07:56No. OK, good.
- 2:07:57Barring it as. Well, we on, we did our job.
- 2:08:07I lost. I'm out.
- 2:08:08Goodbye. Curtis is going to have to have
- 2:08:11the trophy over. I didn't expect bread to be so
- 2:08:13mean to me. OK.
- 2:08:19This quiz reminds me of, so you're gonna have to indulge me
- 2:08:22for a second here. And my wife's a teacher, you
- 2:08:25know, just to say exams for students.
- 2:08:27And, you know, sometimes she's like, oh, that exam might be a
- 2:08:29bit hard. And then she corrects the 1st
- 2:08:31paper. It's one of the decent students,
- 2:08:33and they get really good mark. And then she's like, oh, OK, no,
- 2:08:36it's fine. Yeah, yeah, it must be a fine
- 2:08:37exam. And then all the rest get like
- 2:08:39less than 50% and she's like oops.
- 2:08:44I might need to dump it down a little bit for you next time,
- 2:08:46John, it has to be said, but you know, we're fine.
- 2:08:48Right. I mean, we're already a very
- 2:08:51niche topic on this on this podcast.
- 2:08:53You know, you don't need to when when we generalize out to try
- 2:08:57and get more people to watch. We don't need to go so niche
- 2:08:59again. You know, OK films, only Welsh
- 2:09:04people and Brett know. My my answers for all the rest
- 2:09:10of these are going to be F Brett.
- 2:09:16What was that was not? Fair.
- 2:09:17We still love you, Brett. We still love you.
- 2:09:19Don't worry. I can't remember that joke
- 2:09:21because where there's somebody watching University Challenge,
- 2:09:23which is this really impossible quiz for university students on
- 2:09:27BBC. And the questions are they make
- 2:09:30this quiz look easy. And there's a guy that he was
- 2:09:33saying his dad's at home all the time and he was just answering
- 2:09:36orange or something every question until he finally got
- 2:09:39one right. OK, it's his eyebrows just went
- 2:09:42out when you said bbci noticed that I.
- 2:09:46Didn't want to double up on that joke, but yeah, I.
- 2:09:50Didn't want to double up on my. Idea he's just thinking about
- 2:09:52the the memes and my wife's going to kill me support group
- 2:09:55when when we say that. Right.
- 2:09:58These last two rounds I think probably are my two favorite
- 2:10:00rounds through the whole quid so.
- 2:10:02Here we go. These are going to be horrific.
- 2:10:04Yeah, so here we go #9 alternative.
- 2:10:08Movie synopsies? Oh, this is just like your
- 2:10:11alternative mythic BIOS. Yeah, and this is me writing a
- 2:10:14synopsies for a film or movie. I mean, which is their brief.
- 2:10:19They are fairly brief motion words together and thinks they.
- 2:10:22Mean and it's completely opposite of what the movie
- 2:10:24should be. Yeah.
- 2:10:25It's not completely opposite, but, you know, it's not
- 2:10:27necessarily straightforward. Some of them are.
- 2:10:29Some of them are. OK, here we go question one
- 2:10:32father Huntsdown medical professional who took his son to
- 2:10:35give him a better life where he wouldn't be eaten.
- 2:10:44I mean, let's get for that. Oh, silence are broken everyone.
- 2:10:59There we go #2 there you go John #2 wronged police employee
- 2:11:06fights back by targeting people driving too slowly.
- 2:11:13Oh. Easy.
- 2:11:16Oh man, if you get that wrong, you're going to.
- 2:11:17I'm going to you first on that answer after you said easy out
- 2:11:20loud. I hope everyone gets that one if
- 2:11:30if it's. Not.
- 2:11:34I'm 100% coming to you. You're.
- 2:11:35So so easy to mess up now. Yeah, OK #3 cautionary tale of
- 2:11:43how incompetent drug smuggling can lead to violent interactions
- 2:11:46with addicted wildlife. Oh yeah.
- 2:11:52Excellent. Also filmed in Ireland.
- 2:11:53This one. I love this film.
- 2:11:55It's such explains a lot. I'm getting there.
- 2:11:59Yeah. I mean, I went to the cinema
- 2:12:03with no expectations and I absolutely loved it so.
- 2:12:06Oh, you're, you're giving away that this, this isn't from when
- 2:12:11there was no cinemas, when you were when you were a kid.
- 2:12:13Yeah, whatever it. Was all right.
- 2:12:16Fucking hell. I thought Watership Down was
- 2:12:18animated. That would be film that led to
- 2:12:24many childhood traumas and future counselling.
- 2:12:29OK, question 4. Bad weather conditions lead to
- 2:12:33people behaving very poorly when trapped in a big box store, then
- 2:12:37finally tragically making the wrong decision about how to
- 2:12:40escape their predicament. Love.
- 2:12:42That movie. I mean, I feel like I just
- 2:12:51watched it again. It is actually a good.
- 2:12:59Synopsis OK and #5 Here we go everybody.
- 2:13:10Two people who suffer tragic family losses then bond over
- 2:13:14their ability to pay back those responsible for losses by using
- 2:13:17giant robots. And this might be my favorite
- 2:13:23round ever. Yeah, there we go, all 40 year
- 2:13:27old movies. The rest of them are, in
- 2:13:31fairness, there's a couple of war films that are quite old and
- 2:13:34the Sinbad 1, Better than that. OK, does anyone need any of
- 2:13:43those again? All of them.
- 2:13:46OK. Question one father Huntsdown
- 2:13:48medical professional who took his son to give him a better
- 2:13:51life where he wouldn't be eaten #2 Wronged police employee
- 2:14:02fights back by targeting people driving too slowly #3 Cautionary
- 2:14:13tale of how incompetent drug smuggling can lead to violent
- 2:14:15interactions with addicted wildlife. #4 Bad weather
- 2:14:25conditions lead to people behaving very poorly when
- 2:14:28trapped in a big box store, then finally, tragically making the
- 2:14:32wrong decision about how to escape their predicament.
- 2:14:39And #5 two people who suffer tragic family losses then bond
- 2:14:43over their ability to pay back those responsible for loss by
- 2:14:46using giant robots. Someone has one of the giant
- 2:14:51robots. I was going to say, yeah,
- 2:14:53someone's, you know, got their giant robot going by the sounds
- 2:14:55of it. How did you know?
- 2:14:59Many games for it, right? Come on.
- 2:15:05OK, let's go. John's had a nephew's rushed me
- 2:15:07along. Here we go.
- 2:15:09So question 1. John, what have you got?
- 2:15:12I put down Manhunter. OK, Curtis.
- 2:15:15Finding Nemo, Paul. No clue.
- 2:15:21What that one is? No clue.
- 2:15:22That's fine, Tom. Honestly, like yeah, nothing.
- 2:15:32I've broken Tom. OK, into my world.
- 2:15:34We are finding Nemo. Brett.
- 2:15:38I have a big ass blank, but Finding Nemo sounds like a
- 2:15:41plausible. But you're going to be your
- 2:15:44biggest blankie. I'm going with my big ass blank.
- 2:15:47Jessie finding Nemo Mal Finding Nemo it is finding Nemo give.
- 2:15:57Me a break. There you go, Meg.
- 2:15:58There's a there's a Disney question for you.
- 2:16:00She is genuinely. Yeah, right.
- 2:16:07Then screen #2 wrong police employee fights back by
- 2:16:12targeting people driving too slowly qui on.
- 2:16:16Hot Fuzz. Hot Fuzz, Brett.
- 2:16:20Speed. Jesse.
- 2:16:27I got it wrong, Mad Max. Okey dokey Mao, I put speed.
- 2:16:35Oh, she can see first when I'm out.
- 2:16:36This is the one you were really confident about?
- 2:16:37This is what I was puzzled, John.
- 2:16:39Speed. Curtis.
- 2:16:42Speed. Paul Speed, one who I've asked,
- 2:16:46Tom, have asked you this. No, I'm broken.
- 2:16:49Completely lost where I am with this.
- 2:16:52OK, it is in fact speed, yes. Gwen drops another point.
- 2:16:58Gwen drops another point. But Brett dropped one in the
- 2:17:02previous question, so. Oh no.
- 2:17:04Spoilers. Imagine at the point those were
- 2:17:06doubled. OK #3 Cautionary tale of how
- 2:17:11incompetent drug smuggling can lead to violent interactions
- 2:17:14with addicted wildlife. Brett.
- 2:17:17Cocaine Bear. Guillaume.
- 2:17:19Cocaine Bear. Tom.
- 2:17:22Cocaine Bear. Paul.
- 2:17:24The Mule. Curtis.
- 2:17:28Cocaine Bear. John.
- 2:17:30Cocaine Bear. Mao, Cocaine Bear and Jesse.
- 2:17:37Cocaine Bear. Indeed, it is Cocaine Bear.
- 2:17:40If any of the 21 people are watching who are watching us,
- 2:17:42haven't seen it, watch it. It is a glorious film.
- 2:17:45There's that many people watching, huh, 21?
- 2:17:48Oh, yeah, this is like, you know, this is highbrow stuff.
- 2:17:50Come. On John, chime in.
- 2:17:55OK #4 bad weather conditions lead to people behaving very
- 2:17:59poorly when trapped in a big box store.
- 2:18:00Then finally, tragically, I should've put a comment in there
- 2:18:03making the wrong decision about how to escape their predicament.
- 2:18:06Brett. I said career opportunities.
- 2:18:11Sorry, go ahead. And.
- 2:18:13Say again. The Mist.
- 2:18:15The Mist, Jesse. The Mist.
- 2:18:20Tom. Yeah, I got the mist.
- 2:18:22Paul. No clue on that one.
- 2:18:25Curtis, the Mist, John. Snow day.
- 2:18:32Now. I've put the mist love that film
- 2:18:35gone correct and no, it's not. It is it is the mist.
- 2:18:39Well done, everybody. One of the most depressing
- 2:18:43endings to a film ever. Ever done.
- 2:18:45A great film. Never I'm.
- 2:18:46Going to put that on after this. My wife and I went to watch it
- 2:18:51at Simone. It finished.
- 2:18:52You were like, Oh my God, that was bad.
- 2:18:55As in the ending. The film itself was great, but
- 2:18:57the better the. Passage.
- 2:18:58On there's a film, if you want to walk out of the cinema being
- 2:19:01like, I'm meant to feel uplifted and I feel like I've pay it
- 2:19:05forward, sorry, pass it on, pay it forward.
- 2:19:07OK, that's. A miserable film. #5 two people
- 2:19:10who suffer tragic family losses then bond over their ability to
- 2:19:12pay back those responsible for loss by using giant robots.
- 2:19:15GUI on Pacific. Rim.
- 2:19:17Brett. Iron Giant.
- 2:19:21Tom. Specific rim.
- 2:19:25Specific rim was that? Is that what you meant?
- 2:19:33Yes. Yeah.
- 2:19:35Yeah. Pacific Rim.
- 2:19:38Paul. Pacific Rim.
- 2:19:40Mao, Careful how you type it, Pacific Rim, John.
- 2:19:45I don't care is. That that.
- 2:19:47God awful movie about Kirsten and.
- 2:19:52Oh, Pacific Rim. It is indeed Pacific Rim.
- 2:19:59We might have a change in the leadership here.
- 2:20:00Everybody OK. And the final round.
- 2:20:05Is this is Megan on the thing on the on on the.
- 2:20:08It's so awful that it's amazing. I'm glad.
- 2:20:14You feel that? I was going to say, I hope
- 2:20:15that's the film rather than the Quiz Meg, otherwise I'll be I'll
- 2:20:21be popping into Ruthin on the way back up to North Wales next
- 2:20:25time I'm going. Please do, I'd love to see you.
- 2:20:30Come on, Rich, we started early so we wouldn't clash with our
- 2:20:32friend's headshot. We're almost there.
- 2:20:34We're. Almost there, but one round.
- 2:20:36Left, right, John. How many?
- 2:20:392. Mile 5, Jason.
- 2:20:44Well done. I know.
- 2:20:45Yeah, sorry. I sounded to be surprised there,
- 2:20:46but well done, man. I'm surprised.
- 2:20:49As you. 2. 200 Qui. On. 4.
- 2:20:56That was a. Bad round 3 for me. 33 Curtis.
- 2:21:015. Wow.
- 2:21:03Well done, Curtis, Jesse. Four and Paul. 2.
- 2:21:10OK, everyone, bear with the silence.
- 2:21:11Second, while I just toss up the scores, to this point I've just
- 2:21:15did just do. Brett and Guiyon, you.
- 2:21:17Want to see if anyone else has got a chance to win in the last
- 2:21:21round? Now?
- 2:21:21Bear with. Meg's really trying to get
- 2:21:26Guiyon disqualified. I'm here for it.
- 2:21:33I. Appreciate your input dude, but
- 2:21:35I don't care. Yeah, it was just a local
- 2:21:40supermarket, but the the the master or the whatever you are
- 2:21:45is always right so. I'm sorry, the very ending of
- 2:21:48career opportunities was very disappointing.
- 2:21:53I mean, I don't know the the the part with the writing.
- 2:21:57The mechanical thing was pretty nice.
- 2:22:08OK. Here we go, then everybody.
- 2:22:09Here we go. So there's one round with
- 2:22:11Curtis. 5 questions left. So here we go.
- 2:22:15So in last place we have somebody want to take a guess
- 2:22:21who's last. John.
- 2:22:22John, John, It is the embarrassment that is John with
- 2:22:2515 points. Wow.
- 2:22:28It is then Paul 16 1/2 only mode.
- 2:22:32We then have Mao with 20 and half.
- 2:22:34Jesus Christ, guys, seriously let the European Union podcast
- 2:22:37down. We then have a tie with Jesse
- 2:22:43and Tom on 27. Curtis is rising Phoenix like to
- 2:22:4830 points, but it's let's be honest, it's down to the top 2
- 2:22:52for this last round. So we have Brett on 37 and we
- 2:22:55have Gwion on 39. But since this one is quadrupled
- 2:23:00points, we're good. It's not.
- 2:23:02There's no quadruple. Points so so for this last round
- 2:23:04only wrong answers in the comments.
- 2:23:06Please try try and put credible wrong answers so that it really
- 2:23:13messes up. Oh oh.
- 2:23:16So it's round two or Part 2 of the drawings by me.
- 2:23:18So here we go. So no theme, any movie at all.
- 2:23:22There's two points between the top places, John.
- 2:23:25Point totals quadrupled. May catch Paul depending on how
- 2:23:29this goes. Everybody else is like nothing
- 2:23:32really, but there we go. OK, so.
- 2:23:35I think you told me to get to be last so that we'd be.
- 2:23:40No, you're just stupid job. We have to let our guest.
- 2:23:45There he goes. Get rid of him, right?
- 2:23:49It's a free for all. Who's right now?
- 2:23:52OK, so here we go. Last round question one Which?
- 2:23:55Which movie is this? What?
- 2:24:08That's a good one. Is it upside down?
- 2:24:11Nope. I.
- 2:24:13Don't. Think I've seen that movie.
- 2:24:19OK. OK then #2.
- 2:24:29Oh. What's the category Rich?
- 2:24:39Is there any, any random, any random movie?
- 2:24:42Yeah. OK, emphasis on dumb.
- 2:24:50I was doing a couple of these in the office on yesterday and I
- 2:24:55I'd like. Headphone, headphone,
- 2:24:56headphones. And listen to something I was
- 2:24:58doing on my lunch break and I turned around to people still be
- 2:25:00on me laughing how bad they were drawings were.
- 2:25:02So there we go. I like Kirby's answer. #3 That's
- 2:25:10a great film, but #3. Oh oh.
- 2:25:28It's just the expressions. They're the best. #4I know that
- 2:25:42one, weirdly. I think I'm going to get one
- 2:25:45this round guy. So I think I'm going to get one.
- 2:25:47My line manager was almost sick she was laughing so hard when I
- 2:25:50was growing this one, that's the best.
- 2:25:54Why she was fitting out your P-45.
- 2:25:56Yeah. I just thought the second mouth
- 2:26:01with the sideways teeth in the middle of the chest teeth as the
- 2:26:07mouth has. We've had this discussion
- 2:26:09before. That is a six pack.
- 2:26:10It is clearly A6. Pack I wouldn't.
- 2:26:12Know what this pack looks like? I thought this was Ninja
- 2:26:15Turtles. So good.
- 2:26:21OK, and last but by no means least.
- 2:26:23Oh thank fuck clip. That.
- 2:26:27Clip. That oh, I've got that one.
- 2:26:31Yeah. I'm your back to now.
- 2:26:40Jonathan, you need a stiff drink after this, aren't you?
- 2:26:43Yeah. I'll get it.
- 2:26:46Seven years in Tibet is wrong, Keith.
- 2:26:48I apologise about that, but that's not in there.
- 2:26:55OK. Does anyone need any of those
- 2:26:56again? Or all of them again?
- 2:26:57No. Do them all again, yeah.
- 2:27:01There's #1 #2 #3 #4 which I may get printed out for legions Com
- 2:27:21and #5. And you might have some
- 2:27:25copyright infringement on that one.
- 2:27:28Well, if I sell it, yes, but if we're giving them away, then
- 2:27:30Rosetta girls after him. I want to see that core case,
- 2:27:35please. We'll find a rich person to find
- 2:27:39that for you. Right then.
- 2:27:45OK everybody, here we go then this is the.
- 2:27:47Is you're watching right? For the now 17 people watching
- 2:27:51as we've lost 4 listeners viewers already.
- 2:27:53So there we go. Fair play over lasting as long
- 2:27:56as they Yeah. One of them was me.
- 2:27:57I shut down my screen so I can. Comments.
- 2:28:01Anymore. So here we go.
- 2:28:02So question 1, John, which movie is this?
- 2:28:07Conair. Okie Dokie Curtis, which movie
- 2:28:10is this? I guessed airplane.
- 2:28:14Paul, which movie? Conair.
- 2:28:18Tom. No, I didn't get this one.
- 2:28:21GUI on. Said Die Hard 2.
- 2:28:24Brett. Conair.
- 2:28:27Jesse gutted if it is. Conair, Conair.
- 2:28:31Mao I just. Went lilo and stitch.
- 2:28:38Which one's which? I mean, Stitch, Stitch is a bit
- 2:28:42of a naughty guy, but I'm not sure if he's going to blow up a
- 2:28:43plane. But there we go, it is.
- 2:28:45Drum roll. Please John, die.
- 2:28:47Hard 2. Hold on.
- 2:28:50Wait, wait, wait. It is, and this might this this
- 2:28:54might be the clinch of the whole quiz.
- 2:28:56Die Hard 2. As he once once we unsaid it, I
- 2:29:00went. I heard 2 has a dog with a
- 2:29:03cupcake. Yes.
- 2:29:05Yes, he does. And he blows out the candle and
- 2:29:08the candle lights the jet fuel that's coming down out of the
- 2:29:10airplane and blows the whole thing.
- 2:29:12I. Don't remember that part.
- 2:29:15OK #2 right, go on. Robin Hood, the Disney one.
- 2:29:21Brett. I said the animated Robin Hood.
- 2:29:25Jesse. Disney's Robin Hood.
- 2:29:28Mile, I'll just put Robin Hood because, yeah, which one?
- 2:29:34I'll be honest. Wow, that he's given up.
- 2:29:35OK, John. William Tell for.
- 2:29:39Fuck sounds Curtis. Disney animated Robin Hood.
- 2:29:44Paul. Robin Hood by Disney, Tom.
- 2:29:48Yep, same. It is Disney's Robin Hood Jesus.
- 2:29:52Christ. I think that's clearly a fox.
- 2:29:54Dressing the bird fie. Well, yeah, that's the thing.
- 2:29:56I was thinking of which which one had which store?
- 2:30:00Fox has a beak. Robin Mccon of Faith was stuck
- 2:30:04to hot Blend in. I didn't watch that, it was his.
- 2:30:08It was his disguise. Meg, there's the second Disney
- 2:30:12question for you. She's.
- 2:30:13Counting. She's counting, yeah.
- 2:30:17Right, number three. OK, Brett, all we got.
- 2:30:21Three men in a box. Three men in a box.
- 2:30:24OK, they're not in the. Box in the box 7. 7 Tom.
- 2:30:30Yeah, that's 7. Oh.
- 2:30:33Fuck. Magic Mike.
- 2:30:41Curtis It's commonly referred to as Seven, but the name of the
- 2:30:45movie is actually spelled SE and then the letter 7 or the number
- 2:30:497 and then an EN. So, but we'll go with seven.
- 2:30:53Thank you, Curtis, John. 7. Mal blank, sometimes not Jesse.
- 2:31:02Set 7 and. It is 7.
- 2:31:05You clearly have Brad Pitt at the bottom, Morgan Freeman top
- 2:31:08right and Kevin Spacey top left. The Morgan Freeman freckles are
- 2:31:12spot on, Yeah. You know what I mean?
- 2:31:13He's been in twice. Both times he's had the
- 2:31:15freckles. I literally like put them in I.
- 2:31:17Can't see the freckles. Yeah, it's too small.
- 2:31:20I. Missed them on the last one.
- 2:31:22Curtis did. Just saying, she said.
- 2:31:24Oh. Curtis has this computer screen
- 2:31:28blowing up big enough for old people eyes.
- 2:31:31OK #4 right? If anyone doesn't get this, bear
- 2:31:36in mind we're all myth allegiance collectors.
- 2:31:37There will be an argument here Mao.
- 2:31:40Beast Master. John.
- 2:31:43Oh fuck sakes, Curtis. This is definitely Beast Master
- 2:31:48and it's probably the best drawing I've ever seen in my
- 2:31:49life. This is the best 1 the
- 2:31:53Beastmaster Tom. Yeah, same Beastmaster.
- 2:31:57Gweon. Beastmaster.

- 2:32:10It is Beastmaster. Well done everybody apart from
- 2:32:12John. The lizard off of his belt is
- 2:32:15great. I've never seen that.
- 2:32:16I can name all the characters too.
- 2:32:19I didn't know the actors. Paris.
- 2:32:23Go, Jesse. All right, it's koto, koto, rue
- 2:32:27dar and. Very impressive.
- 2:32:32That was a good job. Thank you.
- 2:32:33Extra point for Jester? Nope, no extra points.
- 2:32:37That was Crocodile Dundee. Oh, Megan, that's glorious.
- 2:32:44Crocodile, then it could have been.
- 2:32:46That's not a knife. That's a ferret.
- 2:32:54OK. And the final one, which for my
- 2:32:56shame is one of my favorite films as well, Guillaume.
- 2:33:00I went for an escape from New York.
- 2:33:01That's. OK, Brett.
- 2:33:04Pirates of Penzance. That's it.
- 2:33:08I love that one, Jesse. I got to go with Waterworld.
- 2:33:15OK, Mao. I went with Waterworld, John.
- 2:33:19Waterworld, Curtis. Captain Phillips.
- 2:33:24Which is what I thought it was an.
- 2:33:25Issue the getaway. Tom, did I ask you?
- 2:33:28I've lost track of it, where I am with everything there.
- 2:33:30Water world. It is water world, yeah.
- 2:33:34Well done everybody, actually. OK, isn't it?
- 2:33:36It gets a bad rap. I like water world.
- 2:33:39I really like water world. Yeah, right then.
- 2:33:43There we go. So that is the end of the
- 2:33:45questions. 50 heart searching, painful testing the Gray matter
- 2:33:50questions. MY2 Co hosts embarrassed me.
- 2:33:55I would like to apologise now for any Eurolegions listeners,
- 2:33:58regular Eurolegions listeners who joined into this.
- 2:34:01They're not as stupid as they came across in this particular
- 2:34:04episode, but you know, there we go.
- 2:34:06John, you score. 2 for that one. Sakes Mal 3.
- 2:34:15Unbelievable. Yeah, Brett. 2.
- 2:34:22We think we have a winner sorted.
- 2:34:23Then pull 2. OK, Jesse. 4.
- 2:34:35Curtis. Three, And I'd just like to say
- 2:34:38that if I ever am given six months to live, I want to play
- 2:34:41this game again because it took fucking forever.
- 2:34:51Says the guy who who's on the Off Roads podcast for our
- 2:34:54episodes. And I thought it would just.

- 2:35:02weekend. Yeah, OK.
- 2:35:06And Tom, Paul, Paul. OK, here we go.
- 2:35:12So, John, we did a massive, massive drumroll if you would.
- 2:35:19There you go. That's a bit of shit, but OK,
- 2:35:26hang on, I can't count. Bear with me a second.
- 2:35:32Take 20. Jesus Cross.
- 2:35:34Our we're going to need 3. Third time's a charm.

- 2:36:14Let's say 7th, not second to last.
- 2:36:15Let's be positive. 7th place is Paul with 18 1/2.
- 2:36:19So you're nice to Paul and you're like.
- 2:36:20John. Horrible to me.
- 2:36:23In 6th place another embarrassing character is Mal, 3
- 2:36:271/2 points, Glide 4th. This is where he gets is Jesse
- 2:36:33and Tom with 31 points. Well done gents.
- 2:36:38In 3rd. So he's not the winner anymore,

- 2:37:29OK, right. No, just.
- 2:37:31Remember what you said at the start of the show?
- 2:37:33That if you and you're always right, that if Guiyon won, you
- 2:37:37were going to have to confess this was all rigged?
- 2:37:39No. No, no, no.
- 2:37:41I said it wasn't rigged just to clarify that, but Guiyon sent me
- 2:37:47that £10 in the post. I will do it.
- 2:37:49It's coming your way. Don't.
- 2:37:50Worry. Thank you.
- 2:37:50Thank you very much. No, seriously though, thank you
- 2:37:54everybody for taking part. I hope you enjoyed that, John.
- 2:37:57Didn't. I know.

- 2:40:54Here on the rooster. Coming this year.
- 2:40:57Whatever you need. Paul, it is, yeah.
- 2:41:00Let's. Change them again there.
- 2:41:05Wow. Just some amazing fire effects
- 2:41:07dude. Really nice.
- 2:41:08That is so cool. It's just hard glue you.
- 2:41:10Can get them on the back. It's amazing, really good and.
- 2:41:13Then he's got from. So at what point do you at what
- 2:41:17point do you put the paint in after they've dried or or do you
- 2:41:21put it in one after? Wow, it's.
- 2:41:25Translucent. So there you go, Paul's your man
- 2:41:28when the dragon hits the shores and you need to do some more
- 2:41:33burnt stuff if the horse wasn't giving you enough.
- 2:41:36How many Dragons have we got in the house here?
- 2:41:39Now you've got one on the way. Paul, you dragon in.
- 2:41:43Didn't order 1 yet, but probably.
- 2:41:45Can't you will like me? Local pick up.
- 2:41:48Yeah, that's Sandy, Jesse. Hopefully.
- 2:41:54Hopefully, Tom. No, not me.
- 2:41:57I haven't got space. Honestly, I really.
- 2:42:01They sent me Tommy. I just don't have the space for
- 2:42:03it. No Curtis 34222 is a.
- 2:42:08Good thing so far. Wow, Brett.
- 2:42:11I'm renting a trailer and doing local pickup.
- 2:42:14Wow, awesome for your. 12. Tax season was good to me.
- 2:42:22Well, if tax season was good, it meant you earned the money
- 2:42:25before that. So that's.
- 2:42:26Really good. I got.
- 2:42:27I got 10 bucks back each year, so yeah.
- 2:42:29I gave Uncle Sam an interest free loan for a year and he
- 2:42:32finally repaid it. Nice.
- 2:42:35Yeah, well, it might be repaying much.
- 2:42:36It'd be pretty repaying you all of our money now that we're
- 2:42:38apparently going to give you so. And all right.
- 2:42:42GUI on your you're saving up for Legions console might be a
- 2:42:45choice between the two and I'd much rather give you a mega hug
- 2:42:49so. Yeah, so and now it'd be nice to
- 2:42:51see you all the Legions console. Yeah, I'm definitely split, so
- 2:42:55we'll see. I foresee there being quite a
- 2:42:58few on the market at or around cost in a couple.
- 2:43:05Years maybe, but I. Don't you know you can always
- 2:43:09ship them one piece at a time to you, John?
- 2:43:11I'm not worried about it. My wife likes Dragons so I'm
- 2:43:14pretty sure I'll get her to stump the cash up.
- 2:43:18I have no space and I spent £500 on tropical fish tank earlier so
- 2:43:22that's that's my money gone. Sounds like a perfect dragon
- 2:43:26home. And both my kids birthdays are
- 2:43:30in April so I'm already yeah and one of them needs a new bike so.
- 2:43:35You need to spend some money to watch some good movies, rich.
- 2:43:40Yeah. The next, maybe the next movies
- 2:43:43because it has to be movies that you can find actually on
- 2:43:46streaming services and not on. All of those you can just
- 2:43:50because. Rich, those those were, those
- 2:43:54were challenging questions. So I, you know, yeah, call me a
- 2:43:57sucker, whatever. That was a good challenge.
- 2:44:00Thank you, Jesse. Thank you it.
- 2:44:02Was a good quiz if. We were a movie.
- 2:44:04I was. Saying all the movies were good,
- 2:44:05but those, those were good questions.
- 2:44:08If everyone knew they're going to be movies in the advance, it
- 2:44:10wasn't like, you know. I had no idea what we were.
- 2:44:13Doing. Yeah, if I'd started doing.
- 2:44:16I thought I was all saying. Which movie series involves
- 2:44:19Woody and Buzz? It's a bit.
- 2:44:21It's a bit easy at that. Point I I thought the whole
- 2:44:23thing was going to be pictures. Did you not watch the last time
- 2:44:28they did this? I was on the last time I did
- 2:44:30this. Curtis just wasn't child
- 2:44:32pictures. He's always on them.
- 2:44:33There was just all my pictures then.
- 2:44:35There was a lot more pictures last time.
- 2:44:41There were, you are all right, Kurtz.
- 2:44:42There were a lot more pictures. Next question, I will do more
- 2:44:45pictures. The next one, there we go and
- 2:44:48it's on astrophysics. So I look forward to everybody.
- 2:44:53I am I am the number one appreciator of Richard Jones
- 2:44:57art. So that's.
- 2:44:58That's love, Forte and the one. I'm back to doing the scoring
- 2:45:04next time. As you can see, Richard, the
- 2:45:05reason why I was insisting on doing the scoring and you just
- 2:45:09thought you were like, no, you have to play the quiz.
- 2:45:11You have to play the quiz. Well, we'll revise that again.
- 2:45:15So John, just to be clear, when I did the the tossing up at the
- 2:45:18end, I did the position for everybody else and last for you.
- 2:45:23So there's no eights in there. That's just last.
- 2:45:25If you if you can hold your phone not shaking after that
- 2:45:29bottle of wine, you can post a picture of that well.
- 2:45:31In fairness, John, you didn't answer half the questions, so
- 2:45:34you could have been doing the the count.
- 2:45:36So it's true. Yeah.
- 2:45:36Yeah, it's absolutely true. Brutal, Brutal.
- 2:45:42OK, on that note, they're all against me.
- 2:45:47I'm down in the bottom corner now.
- 2:45:49I'm pretty much done. I'm going to open something.
- 2:45:54I need something. I'm trying to get my wife to
- 2:45:59cheer me up. All right, well, that note.
- 2:46:03Well, there we go then. So this plays out with the Barry
- 2:46:06White. My wallet is sobbing.
- 2:46:10I can hear it. I can hear it in the hall now.
- 2:46:11It is breaking down crying.
