[upbeat rock music] Why are there so many songs about rainbows?
0:18
Hey, everybody. Hey, everybody. It's, uh, Full Spectrum Cycling. Hey, hey guess what? Hey, hey w- hey, guess what? It- 125... it's show 125. We've tied- Yeah... our all-time record. Sextqui-centennial. In a power outage.
0:32
Is that- I don't know... I think that's 150. Something. I think we're talking about. Yeah, yeah. I don't know. What- Sess- sextqui-centennial. We'll get there. We'll get there. We'll get there to 150.
0:40
Provided the power stays- We're gonna keep going... you know, 'cause our country's going to hell in a hand basket. Power stations. [sighs] Power stations. Power Station with Robert Palmer- Yeah, what a great band...
0:50
and Ro- uh, Roger Taylor from Duran Duran. Duran Duran. So unbeknownst to our fine listener, we're starting our show just a couple minutes past the normal time today. [sighs] In case you didn't- But- Two minutes...
1:02
you know what, it's still gonna be the same time when they listen to it. Right? Exactly. [laughs] I was testing your OCD-ness. Um- [laughs]... not that agent- Oh, my Lord... OCDE. This place is...
1:17
And that's why w- when I walked in, I was like- "Am I in the right place?" "Well, did you get robbed?" Oh, yeah. They stole the displays right off the wall. [laughs] I was like, "Damn, son."
1:27
[laughs] Yeah, it's been kind of a busy week for the old, uh, Everyday Cycle shop. Been doing a little dismantling and, uh, moving of things. Awesome. Awesome. Also built a big-ass bike corral at the new spot. Mm-hmm.
1:41
Oh, yeah, and had six inches of water in there. Aha. We have had some really fecacta weather up here in Milwaukee. Yes. Thankfully- Oof... today, tonight, has been not so much.
1:53
It's more of a r- Supposed to be later tonight... refreshing rain, mistent riding- That's right... which was nice. Pretty much. You must have sprinted over here. Oh, it's also very moist outside. Yes! It is.
2:04
Did I- It's, like- Humid... fucking... Yeah Did I add that? It's moist out there. Yeah, it's like- Oh... 80%- Oh. Hey, hey... fucking humidity. Hey, there's Coby. Oh, it's meow, meow, meow moist.
2:12
Coby's coming to pick up his bike. It's, uh, it's that- Thank God... it's that Isaac over there. Yeah. Uh, you guys talk amongst yourselves temporarily while I tell young Coby about his, uh- Nightmare? Well- Nightmare?
2:26
... I'll tell him about his bike real quick. You guys talk. Hey, Jo- uh, you know, Josh? Josh. Josh. Uh, yeah, Josh. Jox, Michael. All, all- Let's talk about the Sherwood 12 and how dumb that idea is.
2:37
Sherwood 12, what does that mean? The, the... It's half the f- half the distance of the r- half the hours of the River West 24 and half the fun. Like, Sherwood's ever gonna be half the fun of River West.
2:48
I'm gonna give it about 1/100th of the fun. Where did you find... Where did you- That man right there told me about it, that guy right there. Oh. That's why I'm bringing it up, because- Fair enough...
2:56
the Sherwood 12- September 18th... is, like, f- for- November? September. Oh. I'm, I'm guessing- I have so many better things to do on September 18th, I swear. I mean, September 18th- Than spend a minute in Sherwood?
3:08
I live in Sherwood. Oh, sorry. That's right. You do. [laughs] That's what I do. I sleep in Sherwood. I- And then you leave immediately. Yeah, and I, I don't hang.
3:15
And, I mean, on occasion, when, like, the, uh, the toad races come through. Right. Then you go watch. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Uh, Draft and Vessel. What's brown like? They have a- Okay, good... very strong lineup.
3:29
And actually, um, [sighs] I'm hazard to say it, but the Metro Market has this bar- That's really cheap, right? Yeah. Yeah. Are they still open again? Oh, yeah. Oh, nice.
3:44
I mean, it use- it used to be two bucks a beer of whatever. They just had pony kegs of- Good beer. Yeah. So it was kinda like- And they raised it to, like, 3.50 or something. Well, three. I mean, it's still...
3:55
I mean, yeah. You get, like- So you send the wife to shop, you have a couple of beers. No, I send myself to go shop. I'll be- And you have a couple beers... I, I'll be like, "I will be back in about an hour."
4:06
[laughs] Amen. 'Cause you can take them and travel. I, I'm, I'm, I'm gonna take myself- I mean, I'm not, I'm not saying that I... Actually, I had a horrible adventure with that place this morning. Uh-oh.
4:16
But that's 'cause everybody had no power, and they were one of the beneficiaries of that. Are you... Were you guys out of power? No. All right. I'll see you there. No. No, I was top of the hill.
4:29
You know, I have no water. Top of the hill, and it was just like... I'm, I'm sh- I'm like, oh, there were some flickers. Yeah. Flickers. I mean, I... And I feel bad for anybody that did- I know. It sucks.
4:38
It really does suck... and I have been on the other side of that. I, I reached out to, to Sam and Jules 'cause apparently they've had... They lost their power w- last night. They have no water.
4:48
Well, don't they live- Their sump pump turned off... kind of in that- Well, they live in Bayside... river zone? Yeah, they live in Bayside. So their sump pump died because they had no power. They have no water.
4:56
Now they have water all over their basement and- Now you, oh, you don't want water. It could be- Now you have all the water... it could be days before they get wa- uh, power restored. They're actually in a hotel- Oh...
5:09
with their doggies. Well, there are a couple strangely situated hotels [laughs] in that area. Yeah, um- And they look like condos. Yeah. Actually- [laughs]... they're at this chalet, which definitely looks like condos.
5:21
Yeah. And 'cause I, I know going, like, through that zone, I'm just like, "Um, wait, that's by Marriott? I mean, what?" He runs a credit card. Nice. That thing's finally leaving the shop, and we'll never see it again.
5:35
Well- We'll see it again. No, we won't. [laughs] Coby says we'll see it again. No, we won't. [laughs] Jinx. We're not, we're not really a TT bike shop. I mean, we- No, we will not see that bike again.
5:44
We do- I will not allow it... we do do our best, but, uh- I'm a special customer. No, you're not... I don't know when the last time that I had ever worked with a sew-up tire. I bet it was- Right... 40 years ago. Yeah.
5:52
'Cause- 'Cause they're dumb... 'cause there's shops that specialize in that. Yeah. So that's, you know. Expensive shops in Mequon
6:01
I'm gonna run this credit card You should run that credit card I don't even know how to do it So you don't have a- I haven't done it in so long since we're, you know- I have to, I have to send one message to one human Oh, yeah.
6:11
I see how that works. What the fuck? Uh, no, it was, it's a picture about something- But-... completely disparate of this, but I could say if you wanted to call in, except tonight,
6:21
well, in the future, you wanna call 717- 727? Bike You can figure that out, I think. 2453. Thank you, Greg. Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for. So 2632453 is Truly Spoken.
6:34
If you wanna work with a shop while we're moving, and they're pretty good folks over there. Yeah, they're good guys. But guess what else they don't do over there? They're really good guys. Sew-ups?
6:40
They don't do sew-ups over there. Right, right. They don't do TT bikes that often, either. Oh, my God. You gotta go out to M- Mecwan for that, where the rich people live.
6:46
That's more of a, you know, you live out in the... You, you don't... It's not really a city bike so much. Yeah. It's not, 'cause we have potholes and stuff.
6:52
Oh, by the way, Coby, that thing is gonna make a lot of racket when you ride that wheel. Those things are super loud. Oh, yeah. All right.
7:00
But it has been really sad that a whole lot of people in- Let's put Coby's dad's card in the thing... yeah, let's put it in the notes. Um, oh, you wanna do it over here. Uh,
7:10
it, you know, it has been a pretty rough couple of days in the greater Milwaukee area with immense amounts of rain and high winds. Um, I posted a picture of a BMW that's basically split in half on Humboldt.
7:26
It, literally, the middle of the frame is on the road, the tree fell on it so hard. Um, there's been trees hit houses. Lots of people are still without power.
7:37
I, personally, am without internet at home, which breaks my heart. Oh. All these other people are suffering, and all I need to do is, you know- Why don't you use-... get online... your phone as a mobile hotspot?
7:49
Um, that would be great- If-... except for you have no idea how many systems I have to control in a typical day- Well, you have to-... 'cause I'm a freaking nerd... be a little more in my up. I can't do that.
8:00
Not, not get paid- You can't be my upick? Not get paid. Yeah, I'm sorry. If it looks like I'm about, like, like, I'm losing, like, at least one pound in front of you, [laughs] it's like- It's 'cause of the sweat?...
8:11
I'm just, I'm just- You just came from a hot ride? [laughs] I'm just... [laughs] You're starting to, uh, sweat through the shirt. Oh, exactly. This is, like, um, last Saturday when I got caught in the, the gale
8:27
of the Saturday- Mm-hmm... with a flat- Mm... as it was ramping up, and man, all right, I took some verbal, I did a lot of verbal judo to get my goddamn bike on the, on the bus inside.
8:43
They wanted me to put it on the rack. It's a three-inch and it don't fit. That's like gang in it. And, well, I was just making... I was being a little exaggerated and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
8:50
Doesn't fit? Let me reevaluate. And, uh, I'm like, "Dude." He's like, "No, can't do." I'm like, "Dude, it's pouring rain. Get me home." Wait, wait- I'm only taking it to- Wait, wait, we have to interrupt. No. Why?
9:01
I was- The Ti-... I was running it through... the TT bike is out of the building. That has been a running joke for what? Four months? Six months? It's been a while. It is no longer in the building. It's been a while.
9:14
What'd I miss? Oh- What'd I miss?... thank God. Uh- I was blathering. The, the Sherwood 12. Oh, yeah, that's n- I'm cur- That's dumb... I'm curious about it. I don't know- I'm curious... what even the format is.
9:24
I'm curious as well. All I saw is that there's stops at people's houses on Lake Drive, so I, I- And it's $100 an entry. What? What? Jesus. But- But it goes to the Riverwest Food Pantry and Pinnacle Bikes.
9:36
Pinnacle, it goes to. I saw that. Oh, that's the one on- Wilson... Wilson... Wilson. Mm-hmm. Minister Wilson. He's built, he built wheels for us a little bit, right? He's an ex, uh, Rainmaker.
9:45
Uh, well, not- He's an ex... the current owner, the original. Oh, he sold it. Brand- Brandon's not, he's not, he's a nurse now. Oh, I did not know that. He doesn't have time for bull, bike bullshittery.
9:54
[laughs] What guy would make 15 bucks an hour working at a bike shop or even owning one and making $7.50 an hour when he could be a nurse and make, you know, retarded money now?
10:03
[sighs] Oh, I'm not supposed to say that, sorry. Re- ru- retarded. The ru word. I apologize. R-I- I've been very, very uncouth. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, it's been a hot week. Yeah, boy. Boy howdy.
10:16
I mean, just for everything. Sherwood 12. Yeah, so that's that thing. Oh, um, and Greg, since I have you on mic- Is, is there a Greg here? Can I, I mean- Sven. Yes, Sven. I thought it was- Sven... Sven, JK, and Tony.
10:26
[laughs] Who is here tonight? Yes, Sven. Who is here tonight, by the way? Sven, Sven, is there any chance you can come over and break my chain? I've got the- It's not, it's not code for anything.
10:36
[laughs] I have just run into- Nice... the fucking, like, Hellraiser puzzle box. I- I finally got the kink out, but somehow, I, like, flipped it all over itself, so- I've got the tool in the, in, in...
10:49
I've got the tool- Oh, man... ready for y- and I have a spare, uh, quick link- Link? Damn... for you just in case. [laughs] So yeah, I really just wanna take a bolt cutter to- Speak, speak of that, we, uh- [laughs]...
11:00
we got Hashi's Surly on the road, Sam and I, with just spare parts. Cost him nothing. Is it Sam and I or Sam and me, or me and Sam? Sam and I. Sam and I? Sam and I. Sam and I. No, that's Subodai. That's salmonella. What?
11:16
Subodai. Scooby guy. Scooby guy. Scoobadoo? Scooby guy. I like Scoobadoo. Scooby guy. That's, remember... Uh. Yeah, and he loves it. Hashi loves it. He's like, "This is a great bike." Another hint of the Steel- Yes...
11:26
another hint of the Steel Is Real. We can, we can make it even more clear. We go by Subodai's place of residence on Steel Is Real. [laughs] But I don't know who knows where he lives except for- Exactly...
11:38
you know who does? Kenny Nielsen knows where he lives. Where Subodai- Subodai lives. Subodai. And how do you spell that? You know what Subodai's brother's name is? What, what do you think it starts with? John.
11:47
What do you think it starts with? [laughs] John? John. No, no, like spelling Subodai. Y-T. Oh, like tsunami. It's Subodai. It's an interesting name. I don't think I've ever heard it before. Well-
12:03
You've heard Hashky a lot No, but he's f- he, he's got a fern family, don't he? I was saying the same- Many of the ferners down there. I was saying the same- No, he's not... He's native. That's a native name.
12:13
Uh, oh, is it Navajo? I don't know, whatever. I think it's Navajo. I- It's, it's, yeah I was saying, okay, there are singular names in my orbit.
12:20
I've never heard of a different, a- another Subodai, and a different Dinardo. I'm like, there are two humans in my orbit that have- Hashky?... very singular names. Hashky's at the bar. You know Hashky. What? Key.
12:33
You know Key. He did a podcast with us. Yeah. No, there's another one. No, I'm just saying, Dinardo and Subodai. And now Hashky. What? Single names in your orbit. Yeah, now you have Hashky. He's a third. Yeah. Yes.
12:46
So you have more orbits. Your orbits are getting larger. Orbiting. I'm so moist. [laughs] He is sweating profusely even- Dude, look at me... man, I- This has just been...
12:55
This whole week has been just- It's been pretty oppressive... a weird, a weird... Not just the weather, but everything going on is very strange. And you know what makes- Oh, I got my money back-... sleeping-...
13:05
from the bar that shall not be attended everywhere. Oh, very good for you. Well, yeah, very good. Yes. Uh- For all involved... I got some actual cycling news for folks. Ah, yes. This was me b- riding down there.
13:21
Come up and on this next Wednesday. Chewie's got another Chewie's Salon Chair. Oh, nice. I think he's up to number eight now. Gonna be about, uh- Who's, who's doing the chair?...
13:30
Single Speed USA at least some of it- Ooh... and it's, uh- Yeah, 'cause it's-... Spinner and also he has a new lady, apparently knows a lot about beer. Oh. I believe her name is Jill. Oh.
13:42
So check out Chewie and his salon chair guests on Wednesday. I heard, uh, Chewie's riding an e-bike this year for the Single Speed. He's riding a clunker e-bike. Yeah? No, clunker. I don't know.
13:55
No, for the, uh- Hey, maybe this is, yeah... for, for, for Steel Is Real he will. Yeah, maybe. Well, there you go. That would be fun.
14:03
Do, do-do, do-do-do, do-do-do, stup- Mike's phone By the way, that Single Speed USA is coming up August 21st and 22nd- Ooh... in Maine over there- The weekend of my-... somewhere...
14:13
the weekend of birthday weekend for me. That sounds fun. Birthday weekends are always- Yeah... you know, a week long. You're not a Vir- Yeah, technically it's a Monday, so I'm doing the whole week...
14:21
you're, yeah, you're not a Virgo. You're, what is that? Sagittarius? I, I, no sir, I'm a Virgo Leo. 23rd is- You're on the cusp... the cusp. Cusp. I'm not- And I fit, I fit them both quite well if you didn't know that...
14:31
I am nine, nine. Nine. Nine, nine. So much nine it's 10. It's so vir- I'm so vir- I'm such a virgin. I'm such a virgin. You're into August? September. September. Come on.
14:47
I don't know my, I'm not a numbers- You're nine... I am not a- Number guy? I, well, I'm not a- I'm not, I'm not a big astrology person... I'm not a, a, yeah, yeah. I'm not a, one of those guy, people.
14:56
Nine nine, 72, seven and two is nine, equals nine. If you flip it upside down- Oh my God... it's 666. I had an aunt who thought I was the fucking antichrist. Well, yeah. Yeah, I still got that going for me.
15:07
It'll still be proven. Still be proven. Could be proven. [laughs] Well, wouldn't that be crazy? Yeah. I always thought it was Flanders, but you know, hey. You know, it's end of days-ish land, so.
15:14
The, you know, the Simpsons episode where Flanders is the devil is quite possibly one of the best twists ever. Who did you expect? Oh, I did not remember that when I was telling you that. Oh, the Treehouse of Horror.
15:24
Yeah. Yeah. Till you- The donut episode... till you, uh, talked about it. Yeah, that's it. Yeah. It's the donut episode, one of my favorites of all time. I got a favorite of all time. Me and Red just watched it. Wow.
15:33
All right, so top of the hill. It's [bell ringing] Oh. It's my favorite of all time. Let me go get a beer for everybody 'cause I'm sweating my ass my head off.
15:44
Yeah, and we're still, we're still tapping the fridge that won't stop giving right now. For the RivWest 24. [laughs] Well, we're just about out, but this is- Yeah, we're close. We're close...
15:51
we're, we're doing the Dad, we're doing the Pabst Blue Ribbon. We're having, we're having some macros. Some macros. We're doing some Pap- Pabst Blue Ribbon here. Some dad beers. Some good beer. Good stuff.
15:58
Do you want any requests or just this? Just Pabst Blue Ribbon please, sir. Yeah, please. Yeah. Please, Pabst. Oh, yeah. Great. It's, it's so hot out, it's hard to drink a good beer right now.
16:06
Given the, you know, personal information out that I have to leave early tonight because tomorrow Daniel gets his tubes. Daniel gets his tubes. Daniel gets his tubes- Tied... and hopefully no more ear infections.
16:17
[laughs] He gets his tubes tied. Jesus. What, where are we dancing here? You know, I just want this to be over 'cause I am sick of antibiotics and- Right... taking off of work to sit with a
16:27
semi-crabby kid who just wants to go to the park- Mm-hmm... which is a blast. Well, he probably doesn't want antibiotics anymore either. Right, especially for four months straight, so.
16:37
But I have to get up at 4:00 in the morning to start this procedure happening. So guess what's happening after Single Speed USA? Steel Is Real. Steel Is Real is happening August 28th here in Milwaukee.
16:47
And again, I have to apologize again 'cause that day- In advance... that day I have a half day of adoption training, so I will be there in the morning. And in spirit. And then have to sit- And in spirit...
16:59
and, and in spirit, and then sit through six hours of online training to talk to- Online training... to talk to me about- I can bring my-... how to raise a child that I brought home from the hospital.
17:08
I've already got a 16-year-old, 15-year-old, so. I can bring my laptop- I am going through the motions... to do like what?
17:14
Show him, you know, if you ever do any- Well, if you have to do it online, you just do it remotely. We could pull you in a trailer. It's like, "Oh, wait. I lost- Yeah. [laughs] Doing the-...
17:20
I lo- I lost the connection," and then da, da, da. Okay. Next up. Okay. Yes, I'm totally paying attention now. That's okay. That's okay this year, Tony.
17:28
That's okay because you weren't on the planning ride anyways- Yeah, I know... so you don't really- 'Cause I was adopting babies... you don't exactly know where we're going. Right. I don't. I don't.
17:34
So you can, you can come on this and be like- Surprised... "Ooh, it's so surprising- Surprised... the route you guys are taking." But DFL. It's okay. No, seriously. I will be DFL. Everybody in the world, DFL. Oh.
17:47
Dave Fucking Lunds. Oh, I actually have to- No. Don't Follow Lunds. Yeah, Don't Follow Lunds. Don't Follow Lunds. I like it. It's a new DFL. I like it. This reminds me- Don't Follow Lunds...
17:55
I have to work on the shirts just because I had the great idea of- Yes. In a moment of clarity, that's when- Yes, but you have also dropped the ball on not getting the shirts made yet, so.
18:04
Occasional Mike occasionally drops beautiful gems. Oh, it was a good one. That was a good one.
18:09
[laughs] I don't remember, I don't remember which stop and/or which, uh- I know it's Dead Fucking Last, and then Dave Fucking Lunds, and then- And now Don't Follow Lunds. Don't Follow Lunds. Don't Follow Lunds.
18:18
Actually, we're gonna probably have a Follow Zito one too. Which would be counterintuitive the last year. Right, yeah. Uh, that's fine. That's fine. Nah.
18:27
Oh, he, he, he will probably be responsible for the alt route- And, and Cheryl wear-... which will have more helmet-riding... helmets encouraged everybody. Oh, we have... You've seen the photo. I've seen as a photo, so.
18:42
Our friend, our friend Zito had a little altercation- With the ground... a few, several months back. He rang his bell and as- Scrambled some eggs...
18:50
a messenger, had never been a helmet-wearer, and then became a helmet-wearer, and then on this one day forgot it or left it behind or some such and he- It's like, "Ah, I'm feeling cool"... yeah, and then had a- Yeah...
19:02
had a little face issue with the ground. Yeah. Wear a helmet, guys. Sorry, Chris, I hope you're doing well. I- Yeah, yeah... I- I mean, you know-... send him some notes- Yeah... saying, "Can we do anything for him?"
19:12
Yeah, this is not a- He's good. He said he's fine... this, this is not a... Yeah, I saw the picture. He was already on a rou- or on a- She said, "Fine"... on a tour. And in 24 hours time.
19:21
[coughs] Oh, I had to- I said fine... I had to turn Tony down because- I had a cough... he was hacking his lungs out over there. Yeah. Oh, my Lord.
19:28
I, I would not be sitting here right now had I not helm- had a helmet on when I was hit by a car. So here's what I can tell people about Steel Is Real. Mm. You can expect approximately six stops. Exactly.
19:39
You can expect to find beer at said- Yes... stops. At least two of the stops have really good food. Nice. I understand one of the stops will have $2 Pabst, I believe.
19:50
We'll confirm that, but I think we're working with the Pabst rep at one of them. [burps] Cans of Pabst. And at the worst-case scenario, at one place it will be $2.50. Ooh. Yeah, that's why- So-...
20:00
we're working with the rep... just saying. I am gonna tell you folks that this- It's, it's not gonna, it's not gonna be a, uh, you know, a wallet bender- Right, but-... by any stretch...
20:08
speaking of wallets, you're gonna wanna go ahead and probably bring cash for the most part. Yeah. Good, yeah. 'Cause guess what happens at a big event- Cash is, cash is king...
20:13
even if there's only 40 or 50 people, maybe 80 or 100, who knows, if you have a credit card, you waste everybody else's time. Right. So don't be a douchebag and bring cash, please. Cash is king, and- And tip.
20:25
Don't forget to tip. Don't forget to tip your bartenders. It's not a crime. Or your ride leaders. Huh? No, wait, no. I didn't say that. [laughs] Ride leaders get tips? I have not- What? I never heard of such a thing.
20:37
I know. As you were saying, it- It makes sense, though, doesn't it? Wow. Lightning, lightning struck my brain. I had an apostrophe. Yeah, for the hourly rate of zero that we put into the time so far.
20:51
[laughs] Yes, we could, we could amortize that over a s- semi large tip from somebody. [laughs] Right, I think the, I think the route is great. Oh, yeah. I, I have a couple saddle bags.
20:59
[laughs] We, we, we've ridden it... We've ridden the full route twice now, and may pr- may do it again, depending on weather, and I think it's really good. I... The stops- Yeah...
21:08
the stops, uh, you know, this is about the journey, not all about the stops, but- Right... it's really- The stops are rad, but the journey is- Yeah... you know, a big, big ride. You guys will have a good time. Come on.
21:20
Do it. You can do it on a steel bike. We will judge you then.
21:24
Or you can do it on a non-steel bike and just ride along and probably get lambasted by people, but- Yeah, or ridiculed, but, you know, hey- No, but you can still ride. We're not gonna- Well, yeah.
21:33
You, you could go- You might get heckled or- You could be Kiss and Carbon and follow me, 'cause I'm gonna do the damn r- road route. But- JK is the road leader...
21:42
but yeah, I can find some places that have a little couple chuck holes. Nice. You know? I mean, it's still road- [laughs]... but road is what you make of it. Right. And a lot of hills. But, but- Oh...
21:55
JK, will you- Um, I found-... will you be riding a steel bike? I, I... What? Will you be riding a steel bike? Of course. [laughs] That's all I own, damn it. That was a joke. Ha-ha. Um- Ha-ha. Ha. Um,
22:09
I spoke with the Jack's son, and he's like, "No, you just take Kane all the way down"- Shh, don't spoil it. Psh, and whatever, and make a good run. Huh?
22:23
Go a little bit further west and then to the next stop. All right. Well, we'll- See? We're dropping- See, now we- We're dropping hints... now we have to remap again. No, no, no. No, and no. We're gonna remap. Whatever.
22:35
This is for the ride leaders- Fucking-... so they can help people not get lost... oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Ride With GPS that you- Sorry... sucked. Sorry. That you, like, sucked in terms of- I'm sorry...
22:46
auto-pausing and then going like, "Oh, do you wanna resume?" So the resume was just a straight line [laughs] from one zone to finish zone. Yeah. Yeah, I- Piss on that shit, man...
22:59
well, it worked well for me, but I didn't start it until the first stop, so I- I actually-... I missed the whole first part of the ride because I forgot to turn it on... I re- That was like the first 42 miles, right?
23:09
Yeah. I re-signed into- Oh... Strava for all hells. Ugh. I, I... Hey, maybe they're... [laughs] Shit. That's the naked website, right? I don't know. Pornhub and Strava, I think they're in cahoots. Yeah.
23:25
So here's the deal again. [laughs] We've got through the stops part. Good route. Gonna be about 18 to 22 miles- Yeah...
23:31
depending on when, whether you absolutely have to go back to your, you know, dinosaur-burning vehicle at the s- at, at the place we start at Hollander on Downer. You know where you started.
23:42
If you have to do that, you're gonna be riding away from the last stop and probably missing something really cool. There's, we're, we've got great bands and a bunch of cool stuff at the last stop.
23:51
And- What time will that be, approximately? Five-ish. Wait, what? What time? I can't, I can't hear you. I think about five-ish. [laughs] What time approximately will that be? What time will what be? The bands?
24:00
The, the final show. The bands start, I think, at noon, but we'll be there- Yeah... about 5:00. We'll be getting there when, like, the, the- Oh, my God... the head, the headliners- Is this what I think it is? Yes.
24:10
We can say it now, I think. Polka riot. Oh, my God. We can say it now. They've been, they've been planning this for a long time- So we know the, okay-... and how to make it happen and- Yes.
24:17
We know where the start is and the finish is. But see- Oh... again, the journey. I hope- Do you want, do you wanna just go from da to da? Yeah. I can, I can map you a- No, I'm planning-...
24:28
nice and easy route to go there... finish training... bolt over there because that's a fantastic- There you go... image. You could ride your e-bike and get there in no time at all. You probably could. Aha. Aha. Aha.
24:39
I will have fully charged batteries to make and break the speedy zones. Right on, right on. I will... I... Dude, I'm gonna bet a shiny nickel you're gonna have some sort of calamity of charging.
24:56
I- nothing that's gonna make you- That causes you to go... crash or whatever, but no, there's gonna be a hassle that I'm gonna run into- With, with the e-bike?... that day. Yes. Oh. Yes. They're so reliable.
25:07
Piss on that shit, dude. Mine is unbelievably reliable. It's reliable. Yeah. So are my goddamn calves. That's my e- E-calves. That's my e-assist calves. Meh. So that, that- You're welcome, Chewy...
25:23
so that picture I showed you- [laughs]... earlier today of the BMW that has the tree in the middle of it- Yeah... there's a GoFundMe site set up for that person- Yeah... already. Oh, no.
25:34
It was already at, like- Quit it... a 600 at noon. Dude, you- I'm gonna break tradition and actually swear here. Go fuck off... you have a BMW. Mm-hmm. Tree fell and totaled my car. Oh. Oh.
25:50
With a- You don't have insurance? Perfect... No, perfectly timed sniffle. I think it was unintentional, but awesomely timed. Uh, by the way, Tony's wearing- Continue... a Coach Flambeau shirt, which is super awesome.
26:02
Tony Hideout. I don't have a camera, but I'd take a picture. We'll take a picture later. Coach Flambeau is one of the coolest ones ever. I have, I have my star- Absolutely... my stargyle, my Star Wars argyle.
26:12
Oh, you've been sporting that for quite a while. That's a nice one. Well. Can't, you can't get that anymore. Oh, it's got a cigarette burn in it or some such. Ash, ash burn. All right.
26:22
I think we've wasted everybody's time again enough. No, we haven't yet. Um, oh. No, so I, I- Is there anything else you people wanna-... was going to, uh-... lay into us before we head out of here? Yes.
26:31
Uh, the reason of my lateness, um, there is the prospect of doing a, a fun fat bike on a lake race, Lake Nababen.
26:48
Upper Nababen, I believe. Yes. Yeah, you don't wanna do the limbo under the bridge, under the freeway. That would be kinda, kinda weird. Um- We're talking in the winter on this thing, right? Yes. Yeah.
27:00
He's talking- 'Cause it'd be hard to race in the summer... uh, mid, mid to, mid to late January. That makes sense. And- When it's cold...
27:09
he reached out to some people who, like apparently he reached out to people for the past couple of fucking years except me or you. Or Zito. No shit. I mean, like, dude, forest for the trees, man. You know, I don't know.
27:24
And he finally got his shit together and, yes, let's do this. Well, let's keep our ears to the railroad track and see if that actually happens. It sounds like a goddamn great plan. All right.
27:39
Well, thanks for being late- That-... and planning that out. That was awesome. Yeah. This is a... Well, what? You want me to sit here and blather for another- [laughs]... 20 fucking minutes? No. Negative. No, I can...
27:48
I will, well... [laughs] Yeah. Coming from a charged tequila-filled planning meeting with him. [laughs] So I apologize to everybody who has to listen to my fucking fuck, eh, eh, profanity laden whatever. All right then.
28:07
Well, next week we'll- And another thing... we'll learn a new s- we'll learn a new swear word next week. [laughs] Shit fuck stack? For Sue. Oh, I like me a shit fuck stack. I do too.
28:17
I wish we had that up, cued up instead of- That should be ready to play in- [laughs] Instead of- We should get that word in... instead of the, instead of the going out of here jingle, but uh, this is what we've got now.
28:25
[laughs] Maybe next week- Maybe next week... we're gonna- Yeah. Reggie Watts, baby. You can probably look it up on the internet. Oh, it's awesome.
28:32
