- 0:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, at your favorite time
- 0:05Speaker 1: of week. You get to download the Crazy Sheet, get
- 0:08Speaker 1: you something cold to drink, get ready to talk about
- 0:10Speaker 1: some college football as we sit here on Halloween morning. Scottie,
- 0:14Speaker 1: how the hell are you, brother? It's good to have
- 0:16Speaker 1: you back, man.
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm glad to be back after a nice what eight
- 0:21Speaker 2: days in North Carolina, I'm glad to be back.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Man.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I had a really good week. I barely could look
- 0:27Speaker 2: at numbers last week. And I sat down Saturday morning
- 0:31Speaker 2: because all my reps were talking about how terrible picking
- 0:35Speaker 2: terrible games. I'm like, what are you doing? They're like
- 0:38Speaker 2: betting on the over and the old Miss game. They're like, oh,
- 0:43Speaker 2: you gotta take Illinois. I mean, you gotta take or Illinois.
- 0:46Speaker 2: It's way too many points. I'm like, have you people
- 0:49Speaker 2: who haven't been watching college football and you know, needless say?
- 0:54Speaker 2: Then I started betting opposite of them and just crushed them,
- 0:58Speaker 2: and then I realized I was having a pretty good
- 1:00Speaker 2: weekends that night, I started betting on everything Saturday night
- 1:04Speaker 2: and pretty much won everything. Almost won me a money,
- 1:07Speaker 2: a straight up money line on Duke and and SMU.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But at least I won the the regular spread, but
- 1:17Speaker 2: my man went for two to try to win that
- 1:19Speaker 2: ball game late and I didn't close it out, but
- 1:23Speaker 2: the Duchies almost got it done on bringing SMU in.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So yeah, and Duke is very one site. Well, they
- 1:31Speaker 1: needed what six interceptions in that game where they still
- 1:33Speaker 1: could That's right, which is amazing.
- 1:36Speaker 2: It's exactly right. It was not like it was not
- 1:38Speaker 2: like the Pit Syracuse game where they where they went
- 1:43Speaker 2: six interceptions and got three pick six's and we're pretty
- 1:46Speaker 2: much on cruise control the whole night.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Oh Man. College football is going to be interesting, scutt
- 1:52Speaker 1: as we roll into the final quarter of this season.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Is the name brand biased of some of these SEC
- 1:59Speaker 1: teams going to help them stay afloat and get into
- 2:02Speaker 1: the college football playoffs? Or we're gonna have three ACC
- 2:06Speaker 1: teams or multiple Big twelve teams get in. Uh a
- 2:11Speaker 1: group of five. Have no idea who's gonna get in there,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but we'll see.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Do you want to know what's hurting the ACC the most?
- 2:20Speaker 2: That Clemson beat down by Georgia the first week of
- 2:23Speaker 2: the year. I mean, look, they can't they can't afford
- 2:27Speaker 2: to lose another game because if they at that point,
- 2:32Speaker 2: they lose too, and they're gonna have to win the
- 2:34Speaker 2: conference championship because if they go and play you know,
- 2:37Speaker 2: Miami in the in the conference championship, they're gonna they're
- 2:41Speaker 2: gonna likely lose again. They definitely can't get in with three.
- 2:44Speaker 2: But I mean, if you've got if you've got a
- 2:47Speaker 2: team that say ole Miss, well, this would give Georgia
- 2:51Speaker 2: two losses to you got Georgia and ole Miss sitting
- 2:53Speaker 2: there because they go to Oxford next week do the
- 2:58Speaker 2: do the Bulldogs and almost figures out a way to
- 3:01Speaker 2: win that game. And both those teams have got two losses.
- 3:05Speaker 2: You're telling me that both of them aren't getting in
- 3:09Speaker 2: over over a two loss Clemson team after the way
- 3:14Speaker 2: they got trucked the opening week of the season. So
- 3:19Speaker 2: I don't know about that. It'd be hard for three
- 3:21Speaker 2: to get in. Pittsburgh is a fun team to watch.
- 3:26Speaker 2: They are winning games, but I really don't think the
- 3:29Speaker 2: ACC is very good. I think there's some teams that
- 3:32Speaker 2: are extremely fugaysy in that league. I agree, I think
- 3:37Speaker 2: it is awesome see Iowa State going undefeated, but I
- 3:41Speaker 2: just do not see how they have the high end
- 3:43Speaker 2: talent to win, especially three games. But two games in
- 3:49Speaker 2: a row when it comes to the when it comes
- 3:51Speaker 2: to the playoffs, I just don't know how they're going
- 3:53Speaker 2: to do that. But that's a great story.
- 3:55Speaker 1: So riddle me this does Indiana. If Indiana somehow goes
- 3:59Speaker 1: up defeated and then loses in the Big Ten championship,
- 4:03Speaker 1: who gets in in the Big Ten?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Well, that would make Ohio State with two losses. But
- 4:09Speaker 2: I still think they get in unless they lose this
- 4:11Speaker 2: weekend to Penn State. You know, so you know Penn
- 4:16Speaker 2: State would dodge some people. I'm assuming you're saying that
- 4:19Speaker 2: Oregon is likely your undefeated team, but keep your eye
- 4:24Speaker 2: own whiskey it whiskey trip in two weeks, eight games
- 4:26Speaker 2: in a row, eight games in a row for the Ducks.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I can't wait to see what that line is going
- 4:33Speaker 2: to be. And three out of five road games going
- 4:35Speaker 2: into that game. So you know, I think there's a
- 4:38Speaker 2: lot But I think if Penn State has two losses,
- 4:42Speaker 2: I think they likely get in. I think Ohio State
- 4:45Speaker 2: gets in with two losses. I think what I think
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oregon's already in. They would just have to have a
- 4:50Speaker 2: complete meltdown to not get in. And then I think, hey,
- 4:54Speaker 2: get in, So I think more teams can make it
- 4:56Speaker 2: in that league.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't know who else Penn State's gonna lose to,
- 5:00Speaker 1: assuming they lose this weekend in Ohio State. They've got Washington, Purdue, Many,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and Maryland left. There's nobody on that schedule that they
- 5:07Speaker 1: should lose to. They don't.
- 5:09Speaker 2: That Maryland game for them is the lot was looking
- 5:12Speaker 2: at schedules the other night. Is the only reason I
- 5:14Speaker 2: know this.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Uh.
- 5:15Speaker 2: But that's a long stretch of games. I think that's
- 5:17Speaker 2: seven straight for Penn State uh the end the year.
- 5:21Speaker 2: So that Maryland game is no, it's six gets their
- 5:25Speaker 2: six games six in a row when they play at Maryland,
- 5:29Speaker 2: I mean when they play Maryland at home. So I
- 5:31Speaker 2: agree with you they certainly certainly set up in a
- 5:36Speaker 2: in a positive manner from the schedule standpoint. I agree
- 5:38Speaker 2: with you that even if they lose, I think they
- 5:40Speaker 2: end up getting in. So I think I see very
- 5:45Speaker 2: very easily. Do I see eight eight teams being able
- 5:50Speaker 2: to get in from the SEC UH and the and
- 5:53Speaker 2: the and the Big ten. Yes, but I think that
- 5:57Speaker 2: number is probably seven when you get down to it,
- 6:00Speaker 2: because I don't think George, I don't think old Miss
- 6:02Speaker 2: gonna beat Georgia, so that knocks Old Miss out. And
- 6:05Speaker 2: then I think you're talking about Georgia, Texas and Alabama
- 6:09Speaker 2: being the three representatives. I think Big ten gets four,
- 6:13Speaker 2: Notre Dames eight. You got a wild car, and then
- 6:16Speaker 2: you're down to probably two from the ACC and one
- 6:19Speaker 2: from the UH from the Big twelve. I think that's
- 6:22Speaker 2: you think that if I had to pick right now,
- 6:24Speaker 2: That's what I tell you.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Oh see, I think you're you're off. I think Tennessee
- 6:29Speaker 1: gets in and not Alabama. I mean because Tennessee's got
- 6:33Speaker 1: a head to head win over Alabama.
- 6:35Speaker 2: They do, and Tennessee may get in that. You may
- 6:37Speaker 2: be right about that. You may be right about that.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And A and M gets by South Carolina this weekend
- 6:42Speaker 1: and they don't play anybody that's any good. I mean,
- 6:45Speaker 1: Auburn blows.
- 6:47Speaker 2: But the volunteers. Volunteers still got Georgia on the road
- 6:53Speaker 2: and and H Vanderbilt on the road, even though I
- 6:57Speaker 2: don't think they're gonna lose that ball game, and Uh,
- 7:00Speaker 2: I think they obviously. I think they drilled Kentucky and
- 7:04Speaker 2: the Bulldogs and UTEP at home, so I think that
- 7:06Speaker 2: Georgia game at Georgia obviously looms large clearly they win
- 7:10Speaker 2: that they're in, but I don't think uh, I think
- 7:17Speaker 2: you're you're right, they will get in over them. And
- 7:19Speaker 2: I guess I was just forgetting about the balls being
- 7:21Speaker 2: as good as they are, because they candidly haven't been
- 7:24Speaker 2: this good but only two years in about the last
- 7:27Speaker 2: twenty so I think I was definitely overlooking the balls.
- 7:30Speaker 2: So but I think they're seventeams from the Big ten
- 7:33Speaker 2: in the SEC, That's what I think. I think somebody
- 7:36Speaker 2: from that. I think somebody from those two leagues is
- 7:39Speaker 2: who gets kicked.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I think you're probably right, could be interesting, but who knows.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I mean, you've got Tennessee, like I said, then you've
- 7:47Speaker 1: got to get into the SEC championship. Who's going to
- 7:49Speaker 1: get through that? But I think and M Georgia, Texas
- 7:52Speaker 1: and Tennessee are the teams from the Big ten that
- 7:54Speaker 1: are the SEC. They're getting in.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Well, how do you penalize? How's the committee? And this
- 7:59Speaker 2: is what we don't know. How are they going to
- 8:01Speaker 2: penalize the conference championship games? So let's say let's say, well,
- 8:07Speaker 2: I hope they don't because that's an extra game that everybody.
- 8:12Speaker 2: And look, I know they're big money makers for leagues
- 8:14Speaker 2: and all of that, but why the hell would you
- 8:17Speaker 2: be playing a conference championship now? It makes no sense.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And you know how much I love the SEC championship
- 8:23Speaker 2: and they've loved it forever. It's the only league that
- 8:25Speaker 2: really gave a rip about their conference championship the whole time.
- 8:28Speaker 2: But why it makes no sense for Georgia and Texas
- 8:31Speaker 2: to go play again, or or Tennessee and Texas to play.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I mean, it makes no sense. And do you do
- 8:38Speaker 2: you hurt them for the loss? You know? What about Clemson?
- 8:41Speaker 2: What if Clemson? Yeah, I mean, let's not forget their
- 8:44Speaker 2: loss is a gas can, I mean gas can. And
- 8:49Speaker 2: let's say Georgia ens. Let's say they lose to Tennessee
- 8:52Speaker 2: and they're a two loss team, and then Tennessee goes
- 8:55Speaker 2: and loses to Texas and the SEC championship. But those
- 8:58Speaker 2: teams got two losses, you know, and then you're sitting
- 9:02Speaker 2: there with a team that just crushed a Clemson team
- 9:07Speaker 2: that goes and loses to Miami and the ACC championship.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Let's say they're the one that loses. Do they get
- 9:15Speaker 2: in over them or let's even say they don't qualify.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Let's see Pittsburgh and Miami or who play in it.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And yes, I know that Pittsburgh and Clemson play. So
- 9:26Speaker 2: let's say they're sitting there and they're at one loss
- 9:29Speaker 2: through this deal. Are they really getting in over Georgia?
- 9:33Speaker 2: Are really getting in over Tennessee who beat Georgia even
- 9:36Speaker 2: though they got less losses. It's gonna be fascinating to
- 9:38Speaker 2: see how the conference title games affect everything. And I
- 9:42Speaker 2: think that is what we simply don't know. I think
- 9:45Speaker 2: conference championship wins can help you and help your seating
- 9:48Speaker 2: and should help your seating, But I don't know how
- 9:52Speaker 2: a loss can penalize somebody for playing an extra team
- 9:55Speaker 2: against what is likely a Pop ten football team, especially
- 9:59Speaker 2: in the SEC in the Big Ten.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it's uh, it's still we got a long way
- 10:04Speaker 1: to go. I mean, I know there's only four weeks
- 10:05Speaker 1: left in football, but man, it's gonna be fascinating to
- 10:08Speaker 1: see what comes down to me.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Now, what do you do with What do you do
- 10:13Speaker 2: with Ohio State? Not I'm sorry to cut you off.
- 10:15Speaker 2: What do you do if if ohas I mean, if
- 10:18Speaker 2: Iowa State goes undefeated? And then loses in Big Twelve Championship.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Uh you talk about chaos, That's where we start getting chaos.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Yeah, because Iowa State has to play Kansas State last
- 10:31Speaker 1: week of the season. They win that game, they eliminate
- 10:33Speaker 1: them BYU doesn't really play anybody left if they can
- 10:38Speaker 1: somehow get through the Holy War. Uh, next week, they
- 10:41Speaker 1: and the rest of their schedule is everybody they're playing
- 10:44Speaker 1: is five hundred or worse. Then you've got Coach Prime.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Coach Prime, who is now Bowl eligible at the University
- 10:52Speaker 1: of Colorado cashing those over tickets for anybody that had those.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Can you imagine if somehow they sneak into the Big
- 10:59Speaker 1: twelve Chiapampionship and within the Big twelve Championship, and then
- 11:02Speaker 1: you've got Coach Prime rolling in, there be an interesting spot, so.
- 11:07Speaker 2: You can you can you imagine? I mean Prime? Would
- 11:11Speaker 2: you think Prime would be talking gibberish? Holy smokes?
- 11:15Speaker 1: I mean, you know, the College Football Playoff does not
- 11:17Speaker 1: want Colorado in the College Football Playoff? But man, from storylines,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I mean I'm cheering for Colorado to get in. I
- 11:25Speaker 1: would you know, I wouldn't mind the Service Academy getting in.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And I don't think they.
- 11:29Speaker 2: Will Monday night. Monday nights when we get our first
- 11:34Speaker 2: rankings correct.
- 11:35Speaker 1: I think it's Tuesday, Tuesday Election. Tuesday night. You've got
- 11:39Speaker 1: the election, you've got the rankings, and you've got Maction
- 11:42Speaker 1: all starts on Tuesday.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Well, I'm definitely thankful for action. That'll be some great
- 11:50Speaker 2: entertainment so I don't have to watch that shit show.
- 11:54Speaker 2: And good so I get a little college I get
- 11:56Speaker 2: a little college football ranking to dive into a that
- 12:00Speaker 2: so it'll be fun. Ah, look, there's no look we've
- 12:04Speaker 2: needed a playoff. It's great. I the more I get
- 12:09Speaker 2: into the twelve, I really like the twelve. I wish
- 12:11Speaker 2: they would ditch conference champions having any bearing. The four
- 12:16Speaker 2: best teams ought to get a bye. But other than that,
- 12:18Speaker 2: I like this. I love the home games. I mean,
- 12:22Speaker 2: I think you just think about if you're school Ile State.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Let's take Iole State. You imagine them hosting a playoff
- 12:31Speaker 2: game in December. Awesome'll aims will be a madhouse. I mean,
- 12:37Speaker 2: I just I just think about I think about what
- 12:39Speaker 2: Start or Oxford or l SU. I mean, think about
- 12:42Speaker 2: what Baton Rouge would be like. I mean, it is
- 12:46Speaker 2: so awesome. It's just so I really am like you.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I think they need to tweak it. Make it the
- 12:50Speaker 2: top four teams. And two or three best teams in
- 12:53Speaker 2: the country turn out to be Ohio State and Oregon.
- 12:56Speaker 2: Why shouldn't they both be able to be top four seeds.
- 12:59Speaker 2: It's my honest opinion. Always have felt like that, give
- 13:01Speaker 2: me the best, guy, give me the best guys. I
- 13:04Speaker 2: don't need I don't need equity. Guess what conferences aren't saying.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Take that back to your academic liptwards. I don't need that.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I need the four best. This is a meritocracy, that's
- 13:15Speaker 2: all this is about.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I still think there's some opportunity there
- 13:21Speaker 1: to take some shotes for somebody to win a Natty,
- 13:23Speaker 1: because I think the tournament's going to be harder than
- 13:25Speaker 1: we realize to get all the way through it, because
- 13:27Speaker 1: there are going to be twelve good teams in there.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Well, Mark, I couldn't agree with you more. And I
- 13:36Speaker 2: go back to Johnny Manziel and Texas A and M.
- 13:40Speaker 2: That team got hot, and I mean hot when they
- 13:44Speaker 2: went into Tuscalosa. Do you remember how bad they were
- 13:46Speaker 2: gas canning people? And then who they played, Missouri in
- 13:49Speaker 2: the Bowl game. I mean, it's like Manzille. It's like
- 13:55Speaker 2: I mean, he looked like a video game out there
- 13:58Speaker 2: that night. I mean, he was all over was it
- 14:01Speaker 2: due they played in the ball game.
- 14:03Speaker 1: He jumped over the defensive tackle when the guy reached
- 14:06Speaker 1: down to catch him in the pocket, he jumped over
- 14:08Speaker 1: it and landed and then snuck out to the left
- 14:10Speaker 1: and actually threw the ball after that.
- 14:12Speaker 2: It was just I mean, he was askingin hw out
- 14:14Speaker 2: of control he was in that bowl game. They were
- 14:16Speaker 2: playing well enough to beat him, because I think that
- 14:18Speaker 2: was in the Cotton Bowl. I don't know why. I
- 14:20Speaker 2: thought it was missoo, but it doesn't matter. The uh
- 14:24Speaker 2: but but I'm telling you they were hot. They're the
- 14:28Speaker 2: team that comes to my mind when I think could
- 14:31Speaker 2: they have won it all? And then I will also
- 14:33Speaker 2: bump you up to and look, they won the Big Ten,
- 14:37Speaker 2: so clearly they wouldn't they would have been it'd have
- 14:39Speaker 2: been hosting. But that Penn State team that was such
- 14:42Speaker 2: a cover machine in twenty sixteen or twenty seventeen in
- 14:45Speaker 2: the second half, that team was hot enough at the
- 14:49Speaker 2: end of the year to go win it. They did
- 14:50Speaker 2: the same thing in the Rose Ball had been doing
- 14:52Speaker 2: all year. They came out second half and just looked great.
- 14:55Speaker 2: You know, that team might have been hot enough to
- 14:57Speaker 2: win it. But those are the two teams that make
- 14:59Speaker 2: me think it's someone who's hosting the first round game
- 15:04Speaker 2: get hot and win it. Yeah, maybe, especially this year,
- 15:07Speaker 2: because the high end teams are not as good as
- 15:11Speaker 2: they've been. They are flawed, they don't have the depth
- 15:14Speaker 2: that they've had, and I just think it is a big,
- 15:18Speaker 2: big difference. And when you start playing that many games
- 15:22Speaker 2: in a row the season against high end competition every week,
- 15:27Speaker 2: it's gonna come down to injuries, depth, who's playing well,
- 15:31Speaker 2: who's not, et cetera. And I think it's gonna be
- 15:34Speaker 2: fascinating to watch, or I really do. But let's give
- 15:37Speaker 2: me the top four and let them be the top
- 15:39Speaker 2: four seeds. Because the guy you want to be mark
- 15:43Speaker 2: the guy you want to be in this I've been saying,
- 15:44Speaker 2: if you're not number one, you want to be number five.
- 15:48Speaker 2: You want to be number five. You're hosting you're hosting
- 15:52Speaker 2: a bad team. And then you get to go what
- 15:54Speaker 2: may be bois or is certainly gonna be the worst
- 15:57Speaker 2: of the power for And is that a tough game? Yeah,
- 16:01Speaker 2: but are you telling me Ohio State can't go into
- 16:03Speaker 2: ain't go play at a neutral field against Iowa State
- 16:07Speaker 2: and beat them. Absolutely not. I mean not the heck
- 16:10Speaker 2: Isle State probably the underdog, you know so or b YU.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Let's say they won the Big twelve, you know, or
- 16:16Speaker 2: they're going they're playing b Yu. Man, they're probably a
- 16:19Speaker 2: ten point favorite, you know.
- 16:22Speaker 1: So.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I think the five seed is where if you can't
- 16:25Speaker 2: be one or two, I think you want to be
- 16:26Speaker 2: the five seed.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I don't know, man, It's gonna be interesting. There is
- 16:31Speaker 1: a lot of good stuff left in the season. I'm
- 16:34Speaker 1: excited about it. I'll tell you what. The numbers are
- 16:36Speaker 1: getting tighter as the season rolls on and trying to
- 16:40Speaker 1: dig out some of these teams. And I'm kind of surprised.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Some of these teams I thought would have already quit
- 16:45Speaker 1: by now, and they've still got a rolling And so,
- 16:51Speaker 1: I don't know, man, It's it's gonna be interesting. There's
- 16:53Speaker 1: a lot of fight left. Like Wisconsin I thought was done,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and Wisconsin's actually playing better. The last couple of weeks.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I was convinced they were going to fire long ago
- 17:01Speaker 1: and pickle with maybe be on the hot seat but
- 17:04Speaker 1: they seem to be playing better Baylor. Nobody's talking about Baylor,
- 17:07Speaker 1: but holy shit, they're gonna turn this thing around and
- 17:09Speaker 1: make it Bowl eligible at this point in time. I mean,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I thought Texas Tech was a dumpster fire. They lost
- 17:14Speaker 1: those last two games, but I think they're not trending
- 17:17Speaker 1: as badly as we thought. So it's just I don't know, man,
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm excited about the rest of the season. We got
- 17:22Speaker 1: five weeks left to college football, plus the Army Navy game.
- 17:25Speaker 1: We got conference championships, and then you get into the tournament.
- 17:28Speaker 1: So I just think there's so much left to be
- 17:30Speaker 1: excited about if you're a college football fan at this point.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yep, I couldn't agree. I couldn't agree more. Let's Dallas
- 17:36Speaker 2: what some money?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Absolutely? I mean, next week, Bravy, we got you know what?
- 17:40Speaker 1: You know what the big twelve after dark game is
- 17:42Speaker 1: next week, don't you. No, boys in special underwear have
- 17:46Speaker 1: to go to Rice Ecles and play Utah just deeply
- 17:50Speaker 1: up team all that night, nine to fifteen, kickoff next
- 17:57Speaker 1: Saturday night. Maybe we just.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Thirty seven years old when he quits playing college football.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Cam Rising has been playing football for so long he's
- 18:06Speaker 1: in the Book of Mormon.
- 18:07Speaker 2: They just had what's a tight end at Miami that's
- 18:11Speaker 2: on year nine. He's given that guy run for his
- 18:15Speaker 2: money at this point, because I think this is year
- 18:17Speaker 2: eight for if he plays next year, it'll be year
- 18:19Speaker 2: eight right for Rising.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely wow, but yeah, it's absolutely amazing. All right, Scotty,
- 18:26Speaker 1: Here we are rolling into the first weekend of November.
- 18:30Speaker 1: We've got some lines out there. I am not gonna
- 18:32Speaker 1: lie to you. This was a board that was difficult
- 18:35Speaker 1: to abstract some value from. In my personal opinion, as
- 18:39Speaker 1: we sit here Halloween night, if you want to be
- 18:41Speaker 1: giving out some candy, you do have the two lane
- 18:43Speaker 1: and the Charlotte game out there. Two lanes laying fourteen
- 18:46Speaker 1: and a half over unders at fifty six in this
- 18:49Speaker 1: one Charlotte. If you have not watched Charlotte play, please
- 18:53Speaker 1: turn your television on tonight and watch Biff Pogy, the
- 18:57Speaker 1: head coach at Charlotte, because when you see him with
- 19:01Speaker 1: his sleeveless shirt on, his ill fitting hat in his readers,
- 19:06Speaker 1: it is not a Halloween costume. That is how many
- 19:08Speaker 1: addresses to coach Division one football. It is awesome on
- 19:13Speaker 1: so many levels. All that being said, if I could
- 19:16Speaker 1: get a clean fourteen with Charlotte, I would with two lane,
- 19:19Speaker 1: I would lay it here. I really do think Tulane,
- 19:21Speaker 1: in my opinion, is the group of five play I
- 19:24Speaker 1: think the best group of five teams. One thing I
- 19:27Speaker 1: would add to this whole playoff system. If we're gonna
- 19:29Speaker 1: treat the Group of five like a secondary level of football,
- 19:32Speaker 1: which they've kind of relegated to that I would love
- 19:35Speaker 1: to see him have a one game play in kind
- 19:37Speaker 1: of like they have. The sixty eight teams come into
- 19:39Speaker 1: the tournament and we can get a little.
- 19:41Speaker 2: The weekend Army Haven kickoff is over. That awesome.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I mean, at Saturday night you've got the G five
- 19:49Speaker 1: playing game. I mean, I just think it would be fantastic. Anyway,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I like too lay Lane fourteen. I haven't put any
- 19:57Speaker 1: money into it yet because it's still at fourteen and
- 19:59Speaker 1: a half and I hate paying what twenty juice to
- 20:01Speaker 1: buy the hook, But I like Tulane at fourteen here.
- 20:04Speaker 1: I think they're they're a really good football team. I
- 20:07Speaker 1: have been so impressed with them after Willie Fritz left
- 20:10Speaker 1: and came over to the University of Houston. Speaking of
- 20:12Speaker 1: a guy who's turning things around. How about Willie Fritz
- 20:15Speaker 1: starting to get some w's down there for the Cougar
- 20:18Speaker 1: in Houston.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta love it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Oh, but I don't have anything on this one. You
- 20:23Speaker 1: got any leans on this game tonight?
- 20:24Speaker 2: No, I'm with you, same exact thing for if it
- 20:27Speaker 2: possibly gets down to fourteen, I would take Tulane, although
- 20:30Speaker 2: I think they probably cover. Although this this Charlotte team's better,
- 20:34Speaker 2: it's they're better than I thought they were going to be.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I seem to have improved a little bit there in
- 20:39Speaker 2: the year, but Tulane is kind of getting it on
- 20:41Speaker 2: the rail. So as much as Troy is off the rails,
- 20:47Speaker 2: the former coach has gotten has kept Tulane on the rails.
- 20:51Speaker 1: So Friday at three games actually not bad games if
- 20:55Speaker 1: you're a true football fan. Georgia State, Yukon, South Florida, Florida, Atlantic, Sandya,
- 21:00Speaker 1: Go State, Boise State. I think Boise State. I wouldn't
- 21:04Speaker 1: lay twenty three with Boise State. I might even look
- 21:06Speaker 1: for a team total under. I think Genti's kind of
- 21:09Speaker 1: banged up, but I also think they've got a chance
- 21:11Speaker 1: to make a run at getting in the playoffs, and
- 21:13Speaker 1: so as much as they want this kid to get
- 21:14Speaker 1: the record. I would kind of see if they don't
- 21:17Speaker 1: start limiting some of his touches in this game, just
- 21:19Speaker 1: to keep him healthy. In my personal opinion on that
- 21:22Speaker 1: one South Florida, I would lay the two against Florida Atlantic.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I think this team is much better than what we
- 21:26Speaker 1: think it is. They seem to be playing pretty hard,
- 21:29Speaker 1: excuse me. And then I like Yukon, but I'm not
- 21:31Speaker 1: gonna lay seven and a half. I'd lay clean seven
- 21:33Speaker 1: against Georgia State, but I don't have any firm opinions
- 21:36Speaker 1: on Friday night.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the same thing. The games I'm excited to watch,
- 21:42Speaker 2: but not not anything that I'm probably gonna get involved in,
- 21:47Speaker 2: although I will tell you there are times I am
- 21:49Speaker 2: sitting around and I'm just like, maybe I get in
- 21:52Speaker 2: on some of that.
- 21:53Speaker 1: I do.
- 21:55Speaker 2: I gotta tell you the game I'm excited about that
- 21:58Speaker 2: we're not covering watching this weekend, and it is a
- 22:02Speaker 2: lean for me is Ohio State. So we'll talk about
- 22:06Speaker 2: that this weekend. But no, the three games is three
- 22:09Speaker 2: games this weekend, Boisey. With Genty being banged up, I
- 22:12Speaker 2: think they made drill San Diego State that game. Worries me.
- 22:15Speaker 2: That's what scares me about that. And South Florida's just
- 22:18Speaker 2: kind of falling apart on me.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think they get it done here against
- 22:22Speaker 1: Florida Atlantic. So anyway, that's my two cents. Moving on
- 22:25Speaker 1: to Saturday, let me explain to you what this Saturday is,
- 22:27Speaker 1: scott If you have something you want to do with
- 22:29Speaker 1: your kids or take your wife to dinner or whatever
- 22:32Speaker 1: it may be, my recommendation is, get up, make a
- 22:35Speaker 1: little family breakfast, go get you some donuts, snuggle in
- 22:38Speaker 1: for the eleven twelve o'clock game that you've got there
- 22:40Speaker 1: unless you're on the West coast, and watch that and
- 22:43Speaker 1: then just take the rest of the day off because
- 22:45Speaker 1: most of the big games ironically at eleven o'clock and Saturday,
- 22:49Speaker 1: we're going to talk about a few of them. The
- 22:50Speaker 1: first one I want to go to, Scottie. Let's go
- 22:52Speaker 1: to West Point in mikel Stadium that they're being renovated.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Step two in the Commander Trophy game for air they
- 23:00Speaker 1: lost the first one to Navy. Got rolled up like
- 23:03Speaker 1: a donut. They roll in here to play Army. This
- 23:05Speaker 1: team is running through everyone. This Air Force team is
- 23:11Speaker 1: way down. This line opened up at twenty and a half.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I've seen it pop all the way up to twenty two.
- 23:16Speaker 1: They're getting the lion share of the money, the lion's
- 23:18Speaker 1: share of the bets. And not only that is the
- 23:20Speaker 1: line twenty two, but the over unders forty one and
- 23:22Speaker 1: a half. If you're new to the gambling space, the
- 23:25Speaker 1: over under totals. You could almost blindly bet unders on
- 23:29Speaker 1: Service Academies games for the last I don't know, ten
- 23:32Speaker 1: years at this point, and you would see some low
- 23:34Speaker 1: totals all the way down in the thirties that we've
- 23:36Speaker 1: bet it certain times. Not here, not today. Give me
- 23:40Speaker 1: the Black Knights lay in twenty two. I think they
- 23:42Speaker 1: run through this Air Force team. This Airporce team is
- 23:45Speaker 1: really bad in Army Man. They just look they look
- 23:48Speaker 1: solid as a rock through here. And I mean, I'm
- 23:50Speaker 1: excited to see how this team finished up and they're
- 23:52Speaker 1: ranked twenty first in the country. Let's go Black Knights.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Well. Going back to the first half, the u of
- 24:00Speaker 2: the Service Academy games may have you put a thumping on.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I think it's thirty seven to seven. Covered this number
- 24:06Speaker 2: a lot of the losses even against lesser football teams
- 24:11Speaker 2: that it's right around twenty twenty four, twenty one, stuff
- 24:15Speaker 2: like that. For these Air Force losses, they have only
- 24:17Speaker 2: beaten Merrimac. I don't even know. I consider myself a
- 24:22Speaker 2: fairly knowledgeable football fan. I don't even know where that is.
- 24:27Speaker 2: I have to be no idea, don't even know the state.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'm assuming it's got to be Colorado or somewhere close.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But I have no idea Massachusetts.
- 24:36Speaker 2: That tells you how much I know. So I have
- 24:39Speaker 2: no idea where they are. But this is not a
- 24:44Speaker 2: good football team. And this is a really really good
- 24:47Speaker 2: Army football team, which is more balanced. They can throw
- 24:50Speaker 2: the football better. They've always done it by setting up
- 24:54Speaker 2: the throw. Now the quarterback's able to actually go through
- 24:57Speaker 2: some progressions and make some throws. This Army team, I
- 25:01Speaker 2: think they're gonna beat them. They're obviously not gonna run
- 25:03Speaker 2: it up, so that is the danger in these games.
- 25:07Speaker 2: But I just think this Army defense is too good
- 25:10Speaker 2: to let air Force score enough to keep it within
- 25:12Speaker 2: this number. I think this offensive line, which is a
- 25:15Speaker 2: road Greater line, is really really good. Average squat for
- 25:20Speaker 2: these guys I saw is well over five hundred pounds
- 25:25Speaker 2: for these guys. You got to remember these aren't three
- 25:27Speaker 2: hundred and fifty pound offensive lineman. And these are guys
- 25:31Speaker 2: that they are literally putting muscle on, not fat on.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I mean, you got a two hundred and sixty five
- 25:36Speaker 2: pound dude, two hundred and eighty pound dude rolling out there,
- 25:38Speaker 2: squatting double his body weight, and he's knocking it out.
- 25:42Speaker 2: And that is why this offensive line is good. That's
- 25:45Speaker 2: their average. I mean, they've got guys who are putting
- 25:48Speaker 2: up some numbers. That's reason this Army team is able
- 25:51Speaker 2: to run the football. And they're getting first downs on
- 25:54Speaker 2: third down and two running full back dives and quarterback
- 25:58Speaker 2: keeps with guys right at the line of scrimmage on
- 26:02Speaker 2: defense and yet able to do it. I like his
- 26:04Speaker 2: Army team a lot. I think they win it comfortably
- 26:06Speaker 2: and this is just a just a kind of snoozer
- 26:09Speaker 2: game in the second half.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Yeah, Army is averaging three hundred and fifty six yards
- 26:14Speaker 1: rushing per game as they come into this one against
- 26:17Speaker 1: an Air Force team whose defense is not one of
- 26:20Speaker 1: the better Russian defenses in the country. They've actually scored
- 26:23Speaker 1: forty points a game in each of their last four affairs.
- 26:26Speaker 1: Take Army. I would even tell you I'm going to
- 26:28Speaker 1: take the over in this game, which they've gone over
- 26:31Speaker 1: for their last six games where they've scored forty points
- 26:34Speaker 1: or more, and so really like Army lay the points
- 26:37Speaker 1: at twenty two, might even look for a team total.
- 26:39Speaker 1: I may bet this thing three or four different ways.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I think they come in and this is a game
- 26:43Speaker 1: they're fired up for it. I mean, if they're going
- 26:45Speaker 1: to get fired up for anything all season long, the
- 26:47Speaker 1: Air Force game, the Navy game, in the Notre Dame
- 26:50Speaker 1: game have got to be in the three circle games
- 26:52Speaker 1: that Army has on their calendar every single year. I
- 26:55Speaker 1: think they come in and just beat the dog out
- 26:57Speaker 1: of these guys, win the rivalry, and line up everything
- 27:00Speaker 1: to be playing for the Commander in Chiefs Trophy at
- 27:02Speaker 1: the end of the season. Still keeping my fingers crossed,
- 27:04Speaker 1: we get Army Navy back to back weeks as they
- 27:06Speaker 1: played for the American Conference. Not sure that's gonna happen,
- 27:09Speaker 1: but we'll see. Scottie. Let's talk about the Magnolia State
- 27:13Speaker 1: traveling up to Ouppig Suey as they go to Vietnam
- 27:16Speaker 1: this weekend. Old miss lit all the way down to
- 27:18Speaker 1: nineteenth in the rankings. They're on the road. Here lay
- 27:21Speaker 1: in seven to an Arkansas team that's kind of been
- 27:24Speaker 1: middling for us. My season started out with a lot
- 27:27Speaker 1: of hyph kind of pop gunned a little bit, sliding
- 27:30Speaker 1: back into it over under here is fifty three and
- 27:32Speaker 1: a half. You gotta kind of wonder if you're looking
- 27:35Speaker 1: at this and the average Joe puts us down. They're thinking,
- 27:37Speaker 1: Old Miss, they're gonna blow this thing up. Explosive offense.
- 27:41Speaker 1: That's all you hear about Arkansas coming in here. It's like, Eh,
- 27:45Speaker 1: who do we know? What do we know about Arkansas?
- 27:47Speaker 1: I guarantee you you're gonna get a lot of public
- 27:49Speaker 1: Joe money on Old Miss. This is one when it
- 27:51Speaker 1: finally closes on Saturday, hasn't They got fifty six percent
- 27:54Speaker 1: of the tickets already have came in on Old Miss?
- 27:57Speaker 1: Are we taking the Rebels? Were taking the Hogs? And
- 27:59Speaker 1: Old What do we expect of this one?
- 28:01Speaker 2: You know what? I want to take the Hogs at
- 28:03Speaker 2: home and the points. I love the hook in this game.
- 28:06Speaker 2: A couple of things are are at play here for me,
- 28:10Speaker 2: Ole Miss. You look at where they are and scoring offense,
- 28:13Speaker 2: and they're one of the highest scoring offenses in the country.
- 28:16Speaker 2: But then when you dig into the numbers, not so fast.
- 28:20Speaker 2: My friend, as Lee Corso would say, it is a
- 28:24Speaker 2: completely different scenario in SEC play. They have yet to
- 28:29Speaker 2: score thirty points in the Southeastern Conference game. Wow, that
- 28:34Speaker 2: ain't one of the best offenses in the country if
- 28:36Speaker 2: you ask me. They're just playing teams on their because
- 28:38Speaker 2: remember they played a soft non conference schedule that is
- 28:44Speaker 2: now coming to itself. They're not able to run the
- 28:47Speaker 2: football like I think all of us thought they would,
- 28:51Speaker 2: and I think there may be some regrets about letting
- 28:55Speaker 2: the old tailback who ran for a thousand yards back
- 28:58Speaker 2: to back heres trot off to tried off to Columbus,
- 29:01Speaker 2: but the Rebel fans will never let themselves admit that
- 29:04Speaker 2: they need him. But the bottom line, as they do
- 29:06Speaker 2: because everything about Kiffin's offense is based on the run.
- 29:09Speaker 2: They're still throwing the football. I think Jackson Dart's playing
- 29:12Speaker 2: at a high level, but he really is the guy.
- 29:15Speaker 2: They need to run the football a lot, and they
- 29:16Speaker 2: can't take that risk because they can't get him hurt.
- 29:19Speaker 2: So I don't think this offense is able to do
- 29:23Speaker 2: what Kiffin thought it was going to be able to,
- 29:25Speaker 2: simply because they're not running the football as well. They
- 29:27Speaker 2: thought their offensive line would be more dominant than it is.
- 29:30Speaker 2: It has not been. It's improved, but not enough to
- 29:34Speaker 2: make up or what is a little bit of step
- 29:37Speaker 2: down and talent wise from where they've been at the
- 29:39Speaker 2: red light. So I got all those things go to
- 29:42Speaker 2: letting Arkansas keep this game close. I'll be surprised if
- 29:46Speaker 2: Arkansas wins it, because candidly they can snatch defeat from
- 29:50Speaker 2: the jaws of victory as good as anybody in the
- 29:52Speaker 2: Southeastern Conference. But they got a shot. They're a live dog.
- 29:57Speaker 2: If if their quarterback can protect the football, Taylor Green
- 30:00Speaker 2: can protect football, they got a shot to win this
- 30:03Speaker 2: ball game. Yes, I know their running back is out. Yes,
- 30:07Speaker 2: I know that they need to run the football. Yes
- 30:09Speaker 2: I know that Ole Miss has the third rank defense
- 30:11Speaker 2: in the country. This Arkansas defense does enough to cause problems.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I think they lose the I think they load the
- 30:18Speaker 2: line of scrimmage, shut down the rebel run game, and
- 30:21Speaker 2: make them beat them throwing it, which is exactly what
- 30:23Speaker 2: LSU did and they couldn't get it done. I like
- 30:26Speaker 2: the Hogs to keep it really close here and possibly
- 30:29Speaker 2: win the football game.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Oh I hope you're right, brother, I'm gonna ride with
- 30:35Speaker 1: you on this one. I like Arkansas here and Landon Jackson.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That guy scares the shit out of me. Don't you
- 30:42Speaker 1: think he's going to be in Hollywood as like a
- 30:44Speaker 1: bad guy once he gets tolen college football?
- 30:47Speaker 2: Doesn't he have a great name for it.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's also got alopecia and he's ripped and gigantic,
- 30:54Speaker 1: and he scares the hell out of me. But anyway,
- 30:57Speaker 1: I mean he's huge. But anyway, six seven eighty. You
- 31:00Speaker 1: haven't seen this kid yet. Turn on the Old Miss
- 31:02Speaker 1: Arkansas game on Saturday. Great recruit coming out of high school.
- 31:07Speaker 1: A Yeah, I like Arkansas here getting seven and a half.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I would try to get the hook. You can get
- 31:11Speaker 1: the hook, for sure, get the hook in this one,
- 31:13Speaker 1: because I can easily see this game rolling in final
- 31:16Speaker 1: score being twenty eight twenty one and Arkansas loses. But
- 31:19Speaker 1: I think think Arkansas is a live dog here. I
- 31:21Speaker 1: think this one stays under the total of fifty three
- 31:23Speaker 1: and a half as well, because if you can, if
- 31:25Speaker 1: you can avoid the turnover game, then I don't see
- 31:28Speaker 1: how Old Miss is going to be able to stretch
- 31:30Speaker 1: this one out.
- 31:30Speaker 2: A lot.
- 31:30Speaker 1: They haven't been able to run the ball effectively all
- 31:32Speaker 1: see his mall Trey Harris's question mark. I think he'll play.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I really do think he'll play, which he'll help the
- 31:38Speaker 1: Old Miss offensive ton. He's been out last couple of weeks,
- 31:40Speaker 1: but I'm still gonna run with Arkansas plus seven seven
- 31:43Speaker 1: and a half in this one.
- 31:44Speaker 2: I like him a lot. Another good number to look
- 31:46Speaker 2: at here. Here's the thing. If you're on the opposite
- 31:49Speaker 2: side of this from me, and this is why we
- 31:52Speaker 2: always tell guys to do your own work. If you're
- 31:55Speaker 2: just listen to a podcast and betting blind here, I
- 31:59Speaker 2: don't think you're you're being very smart with your money.
- 32:02Speaker 2: Look at that Ole Miss team total. It's thirty and
- 32:05Speaker 2: a half, thirty and a half. If they're gonna win
- 32:08Speaker 2: this game, they're going over thirty. Saturday they go under
- 32:11Speaker 2: thirty and they're not gonna cover seven and a half.
- 32:15Speaker 2: I'll be shocked if they do, and they may very
- 32:17Speaker 2: well lose. They score twenty four points and this is
- 32:21Speaker 2: gonna be a dogfight, I mean a full dogfight.
- 32:26Speaker 1: No, I would totally agree with you on that one.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Next one, Scottie, let's go to another game. Eleven o'clock
- 32:32Speaker 1: be played in San Antonio, Texas inside the Alamo Bowl.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Got some friends, it'll be at this game on a
- 32:36Speaker 1: recruiting track. Actually, San Antonio comes into this game three
- 32:40Speaker 1: and five straight up two and six against the number
- 32:42Speaker 1: four three and one to the over under playing a
- 32:45Speaker 1: Memphis team that is seven and one straight up four
- 32:47Speaker 1: and four against the number three five to the under
- 32:51Speaker 1: that they lean here with their only loss being to
- 32:53Speaker 1: Navy and that shootout that they got into. I'm gonna
- 32:57Speaker 1: go with Memphis in this one minus seven. This UT
- 33:00Speaker 1: team has really fallen off since they with the quarterback
- 33:04Speaker 1: Frank White graduating is a prank. White Frank Harrison can't rway,
- 33:07Speaker 1: so he graduated after being there for seven years. We
- 33:11Speaker 1: rode meat meat quite a bit. But this year they
- 33:13Speaker 1: just they look different and they cannot cover lines. I mean,
- 33:17Speaker 1: this team has covered twice against a bad Florida Atlantic
- 33:21Speaker 1: team which they beat thirty eight to twenty four. In
- 33:23Speaker 1: a Houston Christian team that's not even D one. This
- 33:26Speaker 1: team has not covered numbers all season long. You've got
- 33:29Speaker 1: a Memphis team that still has a shot to play
- 33:32Speaker 1: for the American Conference championship. Offensively, they're spinning the being
- 33:35Speaker 1: pretty good. Man. They're scoring thirty four points a game,
- 33:38Speaker 1: but they're only giving up twenty. They've short things up
- 33:41Speaker 1: quite a bit on this defense used to what was
- 33:43Speaker 1: from Memphis, and I just don't think San Antonio has
- 33:45Speaker 1: got the explosion to get it done. Here. Give me
- 33:47Speaker 1: Memphis laying seven on the road, try to get you
- 33:50Speaker 1: a clean seven. I wouldn't want to lay a seven
- 33:52Speaker 1: and a half in this one if you don't have to.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah, look the first thing I saw when I saw
- 34:01Speaker 2: this number, I'm like, all right, who's hurt? They got
- 34:04Speaker 2: to have a quarterback out. This isn't a big enough number.
- 34:07Speaker 2: UTSA is not very good. I think the fast track
- 34:11Speaker 2: helps them injury report. They do have a couple of
- 34:15Speaker 2: running backs that are down. One is questionable, the Rosers
- 34:19Speaker 2: is questionable for Memphis. But I think at the end
- 34:23Speaker 2: of the day, I think they're gonna win this football
- 34:25Speaker 2: game throwing it. I think the fast track is gonna
- 34:29Speaker 2: help this Memphis team score some points. I think they
- 34:32Speaker 2: go and I think they get it done. Candidly, I
- 34:34Speaker 2: don't think this game's closed. I think they're gonna win
- 34:36Speaker 2: by fourteen seventeen.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with. I think they truck them out
- 34:41Speaker 1: pretty good. Here give me them Memphis Tigers minus seven.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Let's get this thing on the tracks and get it rolling, Scotty.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Next game I want to go to. Let's go to
- 34:48Speaker 1: the SEC. Baby Diego. Papa will be traveling to the
- 34:53Speaker 1: planes again this weekend where he's got a one to
- 34:56Speaker 1: er record as they win in there last year with
- 34:58Speaker 1: New Mexico State and drink I got to win against
- 35:01Speaker 1: an Auburn team. They come into this one getting seven
- 35:05Speaker 1: points against an Auburn team. That God, I think every week,
- 35:08Speaker 1: I think this team's gonna get better. We're kind of
- 35:10Speaker 1: turning the corner. They're just not there, man, and I
- 35:15Speaker 1: you gotta think they're gonna be fired up to play
- 35:17Speaker 1: Vandy this week, and pobvious Posley's a little bit nicked up.
- 35:21Speaker 1: This kid has put it all on the line every
- 35:24Speaker 1: single week. He beats Alabama, goes on the road after
- 35:28Speaker 1: that to back it up and beats Kentucky, plays the
- 35:31Speaker 1: University of Texas with all the grit in the world,
- 35:33Speaker 1: only to lose by three. How in the hell can
- 35:37Speaker 1: they rally back and get this game against Auburn. Do
- 35:40Speaker 1: you think they've got a shot to win this game.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Hell, yes, I think they got a shot to win
- 35:44Speaker 2: this I'm take I'm putting a parlay together with Vandy
- 35:47Speaker 2: in it. They've already beaten two better teams than this.
- 35:50Speaker 2: They just would not Look. I understand those two games
- 35:52Speaker 2: are at home, but look they've they've Kentucky and Oliver
- 36:00Speaker 2: or the same football team. Basically watching the football game,
- 36:02Speaker 2: I think it was tied at halftime and then and
- 36:04Speaker 2: then Auburn won a football game in the second half.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Bottom line, they're the same football team. If Vandy drugged
- 36:10Speaker 2: them around the field, I candidly the wrong team may
- 36:15Speaker 2: be favored. Yes, Thorpe has been playing quarterback for Auburn,
- 36:19Speaker 2: but hell, how do you play worse than he played
- 36:21Speaker 2: in September. I mean, you can't be any worse than
- 36:25Speaker 2: he was in some of those games. So at the
- 36:28Speaker 2: end of the day, I think this team's me. I
- 36:33Speaker 2: just think Vandy is equally as good as this team.
- 36:36Speaker 2: And I think they may go down there and they
- 36:39Speaker 2: may win this game straight up, But you give me
- 36:41Speaker 2: a touchdown, I'll take it.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Ow Doors, maybe go Doors, ake your down. Oh man,
- 36:49Speaker 1: if they beat them again, If he beats them again
- 36:53Speaker 1: and he is truly the Alabama state champion again. I mean,
- 36:58Speaker 1: do you can you imagine how hot Hugh Freeze's seats
- 37:01Speaker 1: going to be an Auburn high.
- 37:04Speaker 2: It'll be high. But if you're if you're Auburn, and
- 37:07Speaker 2: I mean this, how do you fire him? With that
- 37:10Speaker 2: recruiting class he's putting together? I mean, that really is
- 37:13Speaker 2: the truth. I don't care if he loses a bunch
- 37:16Speaker 2: more games, but how do you how do you fire him?
- 37:19Speaker 2: Because look, they get Bama there, They got Bama in Tuscaloosa, right.
- 37:24Speaker 2: I had no have schedule in front of me, but
- 37:26Speaker 2: I think they do because that was out on the
- 37:28Speaker 2: planes last year when they when they blew that game.
- 37:31Speaker 2: So I'm assuming they're in Tuscaloosa again. They're probably gonna
- 37:35Speaker 2: go up there and get gas. Cand I mean, that
- 37:37Speaker 2: game is always closed because you know, Auburn guys love it.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I don't know how you fire him, I really don't.
- 37:42Speaker 2: But if they lose this weekend, they're gonna be a
- 37:45Speaker 2: lie to talk about it, because if.
- 37:50Speaker 1: You lose this weekend, you know who you have left.
- 37:52Speaker 1: You have Ulai Monroe, who's not nearly as bad of
- 37:56Speaker 1: a walkover as you think they are. Then you've got
- 37:59Speaker 1: A and M at home, and you've got Bama, but
- 38:02Speaker 1: you've got to go on the road for and so
- 38:04Speaker 1: it could get super wonky for these guys. If they
- 38:06Speaker 1: can't pull this together, give me the doors plus seven.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Let's see if they can keep this streak alive. Next game.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I got Scottie. Let's stick to the Service Academy brother Navy,
- 38:18Speaker 1: who we got this weekend.
- 38:20Speaker 2: Rice played.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Rice just fired their coach this last week. Let him
- 38:27Speaker 1: go a lot of times. When you see that happen,
- 38:29Speaker 1: you think you're gonna get the dead cat bounce. I
- 38:31Speaker 1: would completely probably get on board with that here, except
- 38:36Speaker 1: for the fact that you got a proud Navy team
- 38:39Speaker 1: that just came off of getting their asses kicked by
- 38:41Speaker 1: Notre Dame on national TV. And this Navy team has
- 38:44Speaker 1: played well all season long. Every single Navy game this
- 38:48Speaker 1: season has gone over the total. And that's not because
- 38:51Speaker 1: their defense sucks. It's because they're scoring so many points
- 38:54Speaker 1: every single game. I think they come back, they bounce back.
- 38:57Speaker 1: They're gonna come down here to Houston. They play a
- 38:59Speaker 1: Rice team that can't match up with them. I think
- 39:02Speaker 1: all the different formations, everything you've got is going to
- 39:05Speaker 1: cause problems with Rice. They're going to probably try to
- 39:08Speaker 1: galvanize around the new coach, do what they got to
- 39:11Speaker 1: do to get it done here. I just don't think
- 39:13Speaker 1: they can keep up. I don't think right Navy takes
- 39:15Speaker 1: their foot off the gas in this one probably just
- 39:17Speaker 1: wears this team out. This team's five and two against
- 39:20Speaker 1: the number seven and oh to be over. They're averaging
- 39:22Speaker 1: forty points a game. I think Navy rolls. Give me
- 39:25Speaker 1: Navy minus ten and a half.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah, look, this Navy team is Look, they were out
- 39:31Speaker 2: classed last weekend when they played, but they still were
- 39:35Speaker 2: able to move the football a little bit. They were
- 39:38Speaker 2: completely out class playing Notre Dame, the Saint Notre Dame.
- 39:44Speaker 2: I like Navy to get back on track. I like
- 39:47Speaker 2: them to control the football, move it. As they are
- 39:52Speaker 2: a very balanced offense. They could throw the football significantly
- 39:55Speaker 2: better than they have in the past. I just think
- 39:59Speaker 2: this is a significant better football team. Ten ten and
- 40:02Speaker 2: a half is that numbers kind of bouncing around. You
- 40:04Speaker 2: got a real shot to get a good number. Rice
- 40:08Speaker 2: is ninety fifth in rushing defense, giving up one hundred
- 40:11Speaker 2: and seventy seven yards a game. That is going to
- 40:13Speaker 2: allow Navy to be the balance team that they want
- 40:17Speaker 2: to be that really allows them to score points and
- 40:20Speaker 2: Notre Dame was just able to dominate at the line
- 40:24Speaker 2: of scrimmage was the difference in that game. Rice ain't
- 40:25Speaker 2: gonna be able to do it. I think Navy gets
- 40:27Speaker 2: back on track, covers a couple of touchdowns.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Oh Man, based on what we've laid out, Scotty, that's
- 40:34Speaker 1: kind of the bored that we've put together here. I've
- 40:36Speaker 1: got a couple of others that I like. I like
- 40:38Speaker 1: Arizona State, love this game, laying laying three at Oklahoma State.
- 40:44Speaker 1: This Oklahoma State team has really been an enigma to me.
- 40:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to go dig in to see who's
- 40:49Speaker 1: playing quarterback for Arizona State. Rang Gel got hurt a
- 40:52Speaker 1: couple of weeks ago.
- 40:53Speaker 2: They've gone back to the tech kid. They've gone back
- 40:55Speaker 2: to the tech kid. Yeah, yeah, bowmen.
- 40:59Speaker 1: But this is a team that literally just laid an
- 41:01Speaker 1: egg for Baylor last week and let Baylor roll over them.
- 41:04Speaker 1: They have lost five games in a row and the
- 41:09Speaker 1: only game they were even close to in those games
- 41:11Speaker 1: were Utah and BYU and so everything else. They haven't
- 41:14Speaker 1: even really been in the game. But they're rushing defense.
- 41:17Speaker 1: They're giving up over two hundred and sixty yards rushing
- 41:19Speaker 1: per game. Arizona State's gonna come in here. They want
- 41:23Speaker 1: to run the ball. They want to dominate the light
- 41:25Speaker 1: of scrimmers. They primmed that they could do it with Skataboo,
- 41:28Speaker 1: and the quarterback actually hats to run the ball as well.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I think Arizona State laying three with some fight left
- 41:34Speaker 1: in them, because they win this game, they're Bowl eligible,
- 41:37Speaker 1: and so I think they come in here with their
- 41:39Speaker 1: head on straight and they've got a good shot to
- 41:41Speaker 1: go into Stillwater Saturday night and win this game walking away.
- 41:46Speaker 2: Oh I couldn't agree more. Scott Scatt Again, I initially thought,
- 41:54Speaker 2: is he hurt as bad as that run defense is?
- 41:58Speaker 2: You're like, it's Skataboo not playing. Looks like he's gonna play.
- 42:01Speaker 2: But I want to say something else too, that that
- 42:04Speaker 2: front seven uh from Arizona State is better than people think.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And so I think they're gonna be able to keep
- 42:13Speaker 2: Oklahoma State from running the football, and they get enough
- 42:17Speaker 2: pass rush and get after you that I think is
- 42:19Speaker 2: gonna give Bowman problems. I ain't Arizona State's gonna control
- 42:22Speaker 2: the line of scrimmage, go on the road and get
- 42:24Speaker 2: the w here. I like. I like Arizona Statescattaboo is
- 42:28Speaker 2: fun to watch. He is old school band. Just contact Delore.
- 42:32Speaker 2: I think that kid. He may have had nine hundred
- 42:35Speaker 2: concussions in his life and he's so tough. He just
- 42:38Speaker 2: doesn't he just doesn't everybody know it. That guy towns people.
- 42:42Speaker 2: He's like a jackhammer. He is fun to watch.
- 42:45Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you got else other than what we've
- 42:47Speaker 1: got here? I kind of like Colorado State.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Like I kind of like Gaida. Kind of like that
- 42:52Speaker 2: game as well. Nevada's pretty banged up. Colorado State starting
- 42:56Speaker 2: to play a little bit better. I overvalued him against Colorado.
- 42:59Speaker 2: Shouldn't say overvalued them. We gets Colorado. I think a
- 43:02Speaker 2: undervalued Colorado it is is really what the what the
- 43:07Speaker 2: deal was there?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Uh?
- 43:08Speaker 2: But the other game that I liked, I said I
- 43:10Speaker 2: was gonna wrap up Vandy in a parlay. I'm gonna
- 43:12Speaker 2: take a little fight in the line of I think
- 43:14Speaker 2: at the end of the day. At the end of
- 43:17Speaker 2: the day, Illinois Minnesota the same football team. It's it's
- 43:20Speaker 2: in Champagne. Give me the home team plus the points.
- 43:25Speaker 2: I think they got a legit shot. And I already
- 43:27Speaker 2: told you I think Vandy has already beaten a couple
- 43:30Speaker 2: of better football teams than Auburn. I think they got
- 43:32Speaker 2: a shot to do it again. When you're betting underdogs,
- 43:35Speaker 2: you gotta look for something that that you truly think,
- 43:39Speaker 2: does this team really if the other team plays well,
- 43:43Speaker 2: do they still have a chance to win the football game.
- 43:45Speaker 2: My answer to that is yes. I think if Illinois
- 43:47Speaker 2: and Minnesota both play well, that Illinois got a chance
- 43:51Speaker 2: to win this ball game. I just think they're gonna
- 43:53Speaker 2: fight in the phone booth and it's gonna be close
- 43:55Speaker 2: when it gets down there. And then give me Vandy.
- 43:57Speaker 2: So give me Illinois and Vandy as my underdog parlay.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Of course, we're gonna bet on Bert and diego Pove
- 44:06Speaker 1: to get this thing done.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Couple well, Hell, we had three AAC games who service
- 44:13Speaker 2: academies and uh and uh and what A and a
- 44:17Speaker 2: MAC and a Mountain West game which has talked about Hell, Hell,
- 44:20Speaker 2: I gotta go back to the big conferences for an
- 44:23Speaker 2: underdog parlay.
- 44:24Speaker 1: Hey, I tell you what, Saturday, I am taking two
- 44:27Speaker 1: things in this element. I am gonna take Ohio State
- 44:30Speaker 1: I've got a clean three that I found on them,
- 44:33Speaker 1: and I also played the under at forty six. It's
- 44:36Speaker 1: down to forty five in this one. I think Ohio
- 44:39Speaker 1: State there's something that's not right about this team compared
- 44:42Speaker 1: to what we thought. They go on the road here
- 44:45Speaker 1: to Penn State. Drew Bilers, it looks like he's gonna
- 44:48Speaker 1: be hurt or he's nicked up enough that they may
- 44:50Speaker 1: not plan. They're not telling you anything, but I think
- 44:54Speaker 1: they're gonna be super run heavy in this game against
- 44:56Speaker 1: the Ohio State defense, and I think they're gonna be
- 44:59Speaker 1: running into the t to what that front seven can do,
- 45:02Speaker 1: and I think that's gonna be just a lot of
- 45:03Speaker 1: ebb and flow back and forth. I don't know if
- 45:05Speaker 1: Ohio State's gonna put out the explosion that's there. You've
- 45:08Speaker 1: heard Will Howard's made the comments that he grew up
- 45:10Speaker 1: in Pennsylvania, wanted to go to Penn State. They didn't
- 45:13Speaker 1: give him an offer, didn't give him a look, and
- 45:15Speaker 1: so he's got a little bit of a chip on
- 45:16Speaker 1: his shoulder wanting to play there. I get that this
- 45:19Speaker 1: is gonna be a fantastic game. I'm shocked that they
- 45:22Speaker 1: put it at eleven o'clock in the morning and didn't
- 45:24Speaker 1: move this back to a night game. I know Penn
- 45:26Speaker 1: State doesn't have any say over that, but I like
- 45:28Speaker 1: the Buckey's laying three. But I like them under as
- 45:31Speaker 1: well in this one, just because I don't think there's
- 45:33Speaker 1: gonna be a ton of points, because I don't know
- 45:34Speaker 1: where the explosion is gonna come from either one of
- 45:37Speaker 1: these teams.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not a bad play at all. I do
- 45:40Speaker 2: like Ohio State, you were talking about something's not right
- 45:43Speaker 2: with this team. I think it's the money. There's no
- 45:45Speaker 2: Wayquich Jean Jutkins have to run it for one thousand
- 45:48Speaker 2: yards to you, what do you have the other day? Like,
- 45:51Speaker 2: I mean it was like six carries for like eighteen
- 45:54Speaker 2: yards or there's no way he's happy with that. I
- 45:58Speaker 2: don't care how much money he's he'd being Oxford, he'd
- 46:01Speaker 2: have a thousand yards and they'd be a playoff team.
- 46:04Speaker 2: I mean, I don't care. Look, I know old Miss
- 46:06Speaker 2: Fancy was a mal content. They were stupid for letting
- 46:09Speaker 2: him go, and he was dumber for leaving, and that's
- 46:13Speaker 2: the truth. And it didn't like Old Miss wasn't paying him.
- 46:16Speaker 2: I mean just leaving for money, I think is tearing
- 46:20Speaker 2: that team up. There's no way. He's not a malcontent,
- 46:23Speaker 2: There's no way. And they brought in so many guys
- 46:25Speaker 2: paid the money, you know. I just, man, it is
- 46:29Speaker 2: I think it's harder to gel than people think. I mean, hell,
- 46:32Speaker 2: it's entirely possible Judkins is making more than the starter.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I mean, that's the truth. He may be making more
- 46:39Speaker 2: than any Yeah, I mean he may be. I mean,
- 46:42Speaker 2: it's crazy the way the portal works. I ain't that's
- 46:45Speaker 2: exactly what's going on. I think there may be some
- 46:47Speaker 2: of that inside this roster, and I'm not positive that's
- 46:51Speaker 2: not some of what old Missus problems are too. Man,
- 46:54Speaker 2: the portal is more complicated than just how much money
- 46:58Speaker 2: have you got? And that really is the truth. It's
- 47:01Speaker 2: different if you're filling one slot, and let's say Henderson
- 47:07Speaker 2: had blown his knee out in the spring and he
- 47:09Speaker 2: was going to be done going and paying Judkins then
- 47:12Speaker 2: makes sense. But man, you're in Ohio state, you've got dudes,
- 47:18Speaker 2: is that really the best use of your money? I
- 47:21Speaker 2: just I just think that's a question mark for me,
- 47:24Speaker 2: and I think that is what's going on. But at
- 47:28Speaker 2: the end, of the day. This team is super talented
- 47:30Speaker 2: and should win this game by more than three.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Let's talk about SIGs inside Baby Kirk Signetty laying seven
- 47:40Speaker 1: and a half on the road traveling over to East Lansing.
- 47:44Speaker 1: They're not getting a whole lot of love in Michigan State,
- 47:47Speaker 1: and I know Indiana has been just fucking hot as
- 47:50Speaker 1: a pistol game days there last week. They absolutely dominated
- 47:54Speaker 1: that game. They really did struggle to get this thing
- 47:57Speaker 1: going on offense, and you know they start with the
- 48:00Speaker 1: pick six offensively. In the first half, they couldn't do much,
- 48:03Speaker 1: and they kept putting the pressure on, kept putting the
- 48:06Speaker 1: pressure on, finally got this thing rolling. By all accounts
- 48:10Speaker 1: that you're reading. Curtis Rourke, the Maple Missile is back
- 48:13Speaker 1: this weekend against Michigan State. So I don't know how
- 48:17Speaker 1: healthy he's gonna be. Somehow, He's ten days off of
- 48:19Speaker 1: surgery on his thumb, supposed to play in this one.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Michigan State's getting seven and a half points from Jonavi Smith.
- 48:26Speaker 1: I love Indiana. I love the story, but can't you
- 48:29Speaker 1: see this be the weekend that no one on earth
- 48:32Speaker 1: is paying attention and thinks Michigan State has a shot.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Can't you see Michigan State winning this game? Oh?
- 48:37Speaker 2: I can, But I'm gonna bet Indiana until they break me.
- 48:40Speaker 2: That's been a fun team to gamble. I mean, look,
- 48:44Speaker 2: I love Kirk Signet James Madison, but now that you've
- 48:47Speaker 2: gotten full exposure to the guy, man, he is awesome.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I mean, just I would want to go play for
- 48:53Speaker 2: the guy. I mean it's awesome. I mean he said
- 48:58Speaker 2: his speech. Did you see the speech this week? The
- 49:01Speaker 2: interview with him this week, and they were talking about
- 49:03Speaker 2: having the lead at halftime or being down at halftime,
- 49:06Speaker 2: and he said, I never go in and blow anybody
- 49:08Speaker 2: up before behind at halftime. He was like, that's just
- 49:11Speaker 2: not my style. You got to you got to figure
- 49:13Speaker 2: out what went on, and you gotta he said, no, No,
- 49:15Speaker 2: when I'm gonna blow your ass up is when we're
- 49:17Speaker 2: up by three touchdowns. He goes, cause you got to
- 49:20Speaker 2: come out with the same intensity. It puts you up
- 49:22Speaker 2: by twenty one. And I was just like, I love
- 49:24Speaker 2: this guy. I was like, it's exactly the way i'd be.
- 49:28Speaker 2: You're like trying to fix stuff. You're like, look, guys,
- 49:30Speaker 2: we're better than this team. You're trying to get your
- 49:31Speaker 2: team confidence. When you're losing, you're not trying to you know,
- 49:34Speaker 2: occasionally you got to blow them up because they're just
- 49:36Speaker 2: not given effort. You know, they've overlooked a team or whatever.
- 49:40Speaker 2: But for the most part, you're trying to instill confidence
- 49:43Speaker 2: in them that they can win the football game. And yeah,
- 49:45Speaker 2: it is diving to them when they got the lead
- 49:47Speaker 2: since you don't overlook them in the second half and
- 49:50Speaker 2: let team get momental. It was just funny watching the
- 49:52Speaker 2: interview listening to the guy because I can just see
- 49:55Speaker 2: him doing everything. That's so much of It's a chess
- 49:57Speaker 2: match with him, and that's what I love about him,
- 50:01Speaker 2: and I think that's what he's why successful. I'm going
- 50:03Speaker 2: to bet him every week until they beat me. Love
- 50:05Speaker 2: Jonathan Smith. I've made a lot of money gambling on
- 50:08Speaker 2: Jonathan Smith over the years. Almost got me last week.
- 50:13Speaker 2: But I really really like Michigan State and the direction
- 50:19Speaker 2: they're heading. I think they hired a great football coach.
- 50:23Speaker 2: But I'm gonna bet on Signetti till he breaks me.
- 50:26Speaker 1: A couple other games I want to point out that
- 50:28Speaker 1: are out there. Florida, Georgia, World's biggest cocktail party takes
- 50:31Speaker 1: place in Jacksonville. It's a two thirty start. I think
- 50:34Speaker 1: Florida comes in here. They're getting sixteen points over under
- 50:37Speaker 1: fifty two in this one. A lot of money coming
- 50:39Speaker 1: in on the over. Obviously, everybody's laying it with Georgia
- 50:42Speaker 1: in sixteen Florida. This Florida team. You can say whatever
- 50:47Speaker 1: you want to about this Florida team. They I want
- 50:50Speaker 1: to bet them at plus seventeen. I just can't get
- 50:52Speaker 1: there yet. DJ Lagway, the freshman is going to be
- 50:54Speaker 1: starting at quarterback. He's looked great for a true freshman.
- 50:58Speaker 1: But you wonder if this is gonna games got to
- 51:00Speaker 1: be a little bit too big for him. But you're
- 51:02Speaker 1: getting sixteen points here. But this Florida team, man is
- 51:05Speaker 1: like an enigma raptor Bacon. I cannot figure out what
- 51:08Speaker 1: they're gonna do. They're not that far off from getting boweligible,
- 51:11Speaker 1: but they're also not that far up from maybe not
- 51:12Speaker 1: winning another game. And so if you're getting sixteen points,
- 51:16Speaker 1: would you take the Gators here or would you lay
- 51:18Speaker 1: it with the dogs.
- 51:20Speaker 2: I would probably lay it with the dogs because I
- 51:22Speaker 2: think you're right, they're gonna have an extra week off
- 51:25Speaker 2: for Georgia having the week off is a big deal.
- 51:28Speaker 2: I think they are lying in wait for the freshman,
- 51:32Speaker 2: and then I think I think offensively they're gonna have
- 51:37Speaker 2: enough firepower because this Florida defense is still challenged, it's
- 51:41Speaker 2: still got some issues. They're playing hard, they're playing better,
- 51:44Speaker 2: but at the end of the day, it's still not
- 51:45Speaker 2: a great team. I think Georgia gets it done by
- 51:49Speaker 2: the number, but I'm with you, this Florida team is
- 51:52Speaker 2: a long way from quitting. Boy, talking another couple of
- 51:56Speaker 2: weeks out, you talk about a trap game for the Rebels.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Let the Rebels win this weekend and then and then
- 52:03Speaker 2: if find a miracle to upset Georgia, and then they
- 52:05Speaker 2: go to Gainesville after an off week, they may play
- 52:08Speaker 2: flat as a pancake in Gainsville. So anyway, yeah, you know,
- 52:12Speaker 2: a lot's gonna depend on what happens to the Rebel. Look,
- 52:15Speaker 2: they lose both these next two games, and I gonna
- 52:17Speaker 2: play flat as a pancake down there anyway. So there's
- 52:20Speaker 2: a lot of opportunity in Gainsville for that game. But
- 52:23Speaker 2: that Gators hasn't quit. But I don't think this week's
- 52:25Speaker 2: a good number.
- 52:25Speaker 1: Form other one, I want to look at Oregon traveling
- 52:29Speaker 1: to the Big House. We're talking about time zones. We
- 52:32Speaker 1: talked about this quite a bit this season. They'll be
- 52:33Speaker 1: traveling across three time zones to play this game, not
- 52:36Speaker 1: all the way to the East coast, but they will
- 52:38Speaker 1: be an Eastern time zone. Oregon's laying fourteen and a
- 52:41Speaker 1: half here to this Michigan team. Michigan, man, this is
- 52:44Speaker 1: what an interesting story this Michigan team is. Davis Warren's
- 52:47Speaker 1: gonna be back at quarterback this weekend, Alex Orgy's back
- 52:50Speaker 1: on the bench. Jack Tuttle, who started a couple of
- 52:52Speaker 1: weeks ago, who transferred in here, has now retired from football,
- 52:56Speaker 1: even though he got one start to get this thing
- 52:58Speaker 1: rolling over under forty five and a half, which is
- 53:01Speaker 1: a super low number when you've got to spread a
- 53:03Speaker 1: fourteen and a half with this. I want to lay
- 53:05Speaker 1: it with Oregon because I feel like they just they
- 53:08Speaker 1: look like the best team, and I can't imagine them
- 53:11Speaker 1: playing flat coming into the Big House. Even though Michigan's
- 53:14Speaker 1: way down, I just can't see him coming flat into
- 53:17Speaker 1: this game. This Oregon team looks like it's a wagon
- 53:20Speaker 1: and I could definitely get on board with laying fourteen
- 53:22Speaker 1: and a half in this week.
- 53:23Speaker 2: Yeah, the more the more we've talked about it, and
- 53:26Speaker 2: the more I've looked at it, the more I like
- 53:28Speaker 2: Oregon because here's the thing. How's Michigan gonna score? How
- 53:33Speaker 2: are they gonna score? They're not gonna line up and
- 53:35Speaker 2: run just down their throat and look, they lose by
- 53:39Speaker 2: fourteen and a half. If South Carolina, I mean, if
- 53:43Speaker 2: Southern cal could have stopped the damn run and they
- 53:45Speaker 2: got lucky to win that game, this team's a whole
- 53:48Speaker 2: heck of a lot better than that, and I think
- 53:50Speaker 2: Oregon is gonna come in there and get it done.
- 53:52Speaker 2: I think the difference is Dylan Gabriel. He takes them undefeated,
- 53:56Speaker 2: does he win the Heisman? Mark?
- 53:59Speaker 1: That's a good call. I would tell you he's much
- 54:01Speaker 1: deserving of the Heisman for sure. Yeah, but I love
- 54:04Speaker 1: that he's got the pop.
- 54:05Speaker 2: Loved story of Ashton genty. Now he's banged up, so
- 54:07Speaker 2: I don't know what his numbers are gonna look like
- 54:09Speaker 2: over the next couple of weeks, because surely they're going
- 54:11Speaker 2: to try to save him as much as they can
- 54:14Speaker 2: and still win games. But uh man, Gabriel putting up
- 54:18Speaker 2: big numbers and quarterbacks matter. I mean, we realize the
- 54:21Speaker 2: running back and want it and forever. I mean, when
- 54:23Speaker 2: was the last one that did win it, Henry, I
- 54:25Speaker 2: mean it's been forever, ago since since a running back
- 54:28Speaker 2: want it. So uh, Gabriel takes them undefeated, and I
- 54:31Speaker 2: think he has certainly got a shot at the uh,
- 54:35Speaker 2: at the Heisman, and probably deservedly so. So anyway, that's
- 54:40Speaker 2: that's that's what I got this week.
- 54:42Speaker 1: That's me brother, that's the board that we got. And
- 54:45Speaker 1: so with that being said, folks, give us some reviews,
- 54:47Speaker 1: give us some likes, give us some love. Hopefully you've
- 54:49Speaker 1: got some comments. We'd always like to hear. Private have
- 54:52Speaker 1: a safe in front Halloween. Enjoy the weekend, Scottie. We
- 54:56Speaker 1: will be back next week. We'll figure out when we're
- 54:59Speaker 1: gonna do our show with full blown action starting this
- 55:01Speaker 1: week next week. The one thing about the fact that's
- 55:04Speaker 1: been interesting, I told Scott, when ninety percent of your
- 55:08Speaker 1: conference is either three and four or three and five,
- 55:11Speaker 1: four and four, five and three, the ma is gonna
- 55:14Speaker 1: be a little bit tough to try to dig some
- 55:15Speaker 1: winners out of there, but it's gonna be fantastic as
- 55:17Speaker 1: we get it rolling next week by being said, folks,
- 55:20Speaker 1: have a great weekend, and we'll talk to you soon.
