Open Line, Tuesday - The Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
This Feast Day is intimately tied to the Office of Mary's Divine Maternity, which was celebrated on October 11 of each year on the liturgical calendar prior to Vatican II; now, it is celebrated as the great “Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God” each year on January 1.
