- 0:01Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. All right, well here here
- 0:08Speaker 1: at one look of blex media. I have to say
- 0:11Speaker 1: a couple of days a get Ago I came to
- 0:13Speaker 1: and said, the Senate has approved something major, a major
- 0:16Speaker 1: bipartisan bill in honor of affordability, and they are gonna
- 0:21Speaker 1: claim victory and affordability in an election year like Trump wanted.
- 0:28Speaker 1: But whatever you want to call it, his ego, his brashness,
- 0:31Speaker 1: his bravado, said no, we're not gonna do that. Today
- 0:36Speaker 1: he canceled the bill signing of this affordable housing and
- 0:41Speaker 1: housing plan, and I think that's a miss. You're gonna
- 0:50Speaker 1: put pressure on this people, to on the Senators to
- 0:52Speaker 1: pass the Save Act by not signing something that both
- 0:58Speaker 1: parties very much agreed on, were worked hard on, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: told American people were listening to you. This should have
- 1:08Speaker 1: been a win for the GOP today, but instead it
- 1:12Speaker 1: ends up in a shouting match, if you believe reports
- 1:14Speaker 1: between Cassidy and Trump at the GOP meeting, the GOP lunch.
- 1:21Speaker 1: And so it was a very big miss, a very
- 1:24Speaker 1: big loss. And I believe in District TENN of New York,
- 1:31Speaker 1: New York City, Brad Lander defeating Dan Goldman is a
- 1:37Speaker 1: major loss for the common sense Democrats and the blue
- 1:47Speaker 1: dog Democrats and the moderate Democrats. Okay, I know Goldman
- 1:50Speaker 1: led the impeachment proceedings. I know he was against Trump
- 1:55Speaker 1: on everything, but he had to respect that he was
- 1:58Speaker 1: who he was. Feels like a snake. Brad Lander feels
- 2:03Speaker 1: like he should be nowhere near the Congress, the US Congress.
- 2:09Speaker 1: He's not a genuine person because, firstly, if he was genuine,
- 2:15Speaker 1: if he was genuine, he would have actually decided to
- 2:21Speaker 1: step away from the controller race a controller position in
- 2:26Speaker 1: New York City to run against Adams. But he decided
- 2:30Speaker 1: to run against Adams and still be his controller at
- 2:33Speaker 1: the same time. That was the first thing. The second
- 2:39Speaker 1: thing is is ice protest and this whole thing where
- 2:42Speaker 1: he gets arrested. I mean, it's just he doesn't feel
- 2:47Speaker 1: like a real person. He feels like a fake and
- 2:53Speaker 1: he should nowhere and a snake, and he should be
- 2:57Speaker 1: nowhere near this house Representatives. Now. I don't know how
- 3:02Speaker 1: the n my cgo. He's gonna rally for Jennifer More
- 3:06Speaker 1: who won unopposed yesterday, and I don't think everybody's gonna
- 3:12Speaker 1: think she's gonna win, But something's gotta get done here.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Of all the socialists that won last night, of all
- 3:19Speaker 1: the people that Mamdannie endorsed, and one with I don't
- 3:24Speaker 1: care because that's that's that's gonna happen. I care if
- 3:30Speaker 1: Brad Lander doesn't get in. It gets in, though, because
- 3:34Speaker 1: he is the sneakiest, snakiest politician in New York City.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And I said her a few months ago should be
- 3:45Speaker 1: nowhere near the US House of Representatives. He doesn't embody
- 3:50Speaker 1: what America is as we're heading into two year two fifty.
- 3:55Speaker 1: So if by some miracle, Jennifer Moore let's get her
- 3:58Speaker 1: name out there, can beat Bradder my own mind, But
- 4:06Speaker 1: how he went from trying to still becometroller while running
- 4:12Speaker 1: against the mayor two now steps away from the Congress
- 4:17Speaker 1: bothers me and it should bother you too. He's a
- 4:24Speaker 1: phony and people need to recognize that. And I hope
- 4:30Speaker 1: Ads hit him hard on that for the midterms. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: you know how he's a phony. He's a phony because
- 4:53Speaker 1: he's he's not ethical in my view, because ethics would
- 5:01Speaker 1: have meant and this is where I got really rubbed
- 5:02Speaker 1: the wrong way, would have meant you drop your controller
- 5:05Speaker 1: seat to run for mayor, you don't keep both. That
- 5:13Speaker 1: was his first thing, This disingenuous arrest in honor of
- 5:18Speaker 1: those you know, being detained by ice. It's just it's shows.
- 5:22Speaker 1: He's a showman. He's not really for anybody except himself.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Now you say, well, that's most of Washington, Alex, and
- 5:31Speaker 1: that might be true. But if we know that Lander's
- 5:34Speaker 1: about himself, if we know he's divisive, if we can
- 5:38Speaker 1: recognize that, then we can go places. But if we
- 5:50Speaker 1: can't recognize that, or if you's to recognize that, he's
- 5:56Speaker 1: literally a wolf in sheep's clothing, he's not really for people.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I feel like he's for himself, I really do. And
- 6:04Speaker 1: the other thing was, if I can remember correctly, is
- 6:06Speaker 1: he used the office not to just hold the city accountable,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but to bring out his political objectives. I mean, you
- 6:18Speaker 1: can't do it. Controllers not supposed to be political. It's
- 6:21Speaker 1: supposed to hold the city accountable and the mayor accountable, sure,
- 6:25Speaker 1: but not be political about it. I mean they said
- 6:29Speaker 1: he used He led the legal efforts to defend defend
- 6:33Speaker 1: the New York City's congestion pricing program. Your nine dollars
- 6:37Speaker 1: that you spend every time you come down below sixtieth
- 6:41Speaker 1: Street is thanks to Bradlanders' efforts to keep it. He's
- 6:45Speaker 1: not for a New Yorkers. He wanted to also keep
- 7:05Speaker 1: an eye on jail conditions. I mean, the guy an
- 7:09Speaker 1: agency performance. He wasn't for the people. He was for
- 7:20Speaker 1: making sure conditions of those in the jail were cared for.
- 7:30Speaker 1: And then the other big thing was he divested from
- 7:35Speaker 1: fossil fuel companies and pushes these pension funds toward net
- 7:41Speaker 1: zero implementation plans. So he used the office of Controller
- 7:45Speaker 1: to further his political goals, not the people of New
- 7:51Speaker 1: York's goals, his own political goals. And you could see
- 7:56Speaker 1: that won't happen in the office if he gets elected
- 7:59Speaker 1: to congres. Everybody has their own goals, but sometimes they're
- 8:06Speaker 1: for the people. Look at this housing bill. That's for
- 8:07Speaker 1: the people. But Brad Lander's not for the people of
- 8:11Speaker 1: New York or America. He's out for himself. He does
- 8:15Speaker 1: these dumb stints, stunts, he does these stupid things. He's
- 8:21Speaker 1: just not for the American people. Because if he was
- 8:31Speaker 1: for the American people, if he was for the American people,
- 8:42Speaker 1: he wouldn't have made the Controller's office and the people
- 8:45Speaker 1: of New York. He wouldn't have made the Controller's office
- 8:47Speaker 1: his own office to make a point, to make a stand,
- 8:50Speaker 1: to be political. I don't believe the role of New
- 8:55Speaker 1: York City Controller should be a political position. You're just
- 9:01Speaker 1: keeping the books fair and balanced, not going into political rhetoric.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But Lander can help himself, but we can. We can
- 9:18Speaker 1: help ourselves not be swayed to elect Bradlander. And I'm
- 9:29Speaker 1: very firm on that, and I will stand very firm
- 9:32Speaker 1: on that these other socialists that won. Unfortunately, it's welcome
- 9:37Speaker 1: to the Times. New York City's dumb enough to vote
- 9:40Speaker 1: socialists in, so I'm not surprised, but we shouldn't be
- 9:45Speaker 1: dumb enough to vote in Bradlander, who is a sneak
- 9:51Speaker 1: and a snake and should not be anywhere near the
- 9:57Speaker 1: US House of Representatives. I don't usually get name calling
- 10:02Speaker 1: on here, but this one, this guy going from running
- 10:09Speaker 1: against the mayor while trying to be in his administration's controller.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I know he's elected, but so not leaving the position
- 10:16Speaker 1: bothers the f Ademy. It bothers the f ademy, and
- 10:21Speaker 1: it should to you too, because that's the kind of
- 10:24Speaker 1: person he is. He's not ethical, he's not really done
- 10:27Speaker 1: moral he's for himself and for ones we can actually
- 10:32Speaker 1: just say no, we're not gonna put in someone who's
- 10:35Speaker 1: for himself. We're gonna put in someone who wants to
- 10:37Speaker 1: benefit New Yorkers and Americans, genuinely, genuinely. So I'll be
- 10:45Speaker 1: keeping a very tight eye on that race in District ten.
- 10:50Speaker 1: But brand Lander, on the cusp of becoming a US representative,
- 10:56Speaker 1: say it ain't so, and that's my jet one leg
- 11:00Speaker 1: a Ballex Media
