- 2:07Speaker 2: I just worked and then when I got done working,
- 2:12Speaker 2: came back, took a shower, and got into bed. Saturday night,
- 2:17Speaker 2: I went, y'all, I got some bad news. I had
- 2:22Speaker 2: to pay for my own weed for the first time.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Forever, like bundle or just your hair done?
- 2:29Speaker 2: What you mean no marijuana? Oh?
- 2:31Speaker 1: Your on weed? I like you said, we've.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I had to well honestly, it's not weed. I
- 2:37Speaker 2: don't have a weed man anymore like I used to. Well,
- 2:41Speaker 2: he used to be my booths. I used to get
- 2:43Speaker 2: it free, but now I have to purchase its ghetto.
- 2:48Speaker 2: I didn't even I went to like one of those
- 2:50Speaker 2: uh CBD shops and got like a CBD joint. So
- 2:56Speaker 2: that's not even weed for real now.
- 2:58Speaker 1: No, they'd be selling real weed them shops. I don't
- 3:00Speaker 1: know how they're getting around it, but you probably got
- 3:03Speaker 1: you some real bud out there.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It wasn't like it was already. It was like a
- 3:07Speaker 2: pre roll thc CB nine. They had me talking my
- 3:13Speaker 2: ass off. I got on the phone with my friend Tamika,
- 3:16Speaker 2: and I swear I was just like, she said, are
- 3:20Speaker 2: you awsomething? I was like, as a matter of fact,
- 3:23Speaker 2: I am.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I never felt more like a crackhead than being on
- 3:28Speaker 1: the phone one night with a friend and I forgot
- 3:31Speaker 1: I had took the shroom.
- 3:34Speaker 2: I was my friend.
- 3:36Speaker 1: No, no, no, this is recently. I know what you're
- 3:38Speaker 1: talking about. No, this is recently. I was just laughing
- 3:41Speaker 1: with your ass. No, but I'm trying to tell him
- 3:43Speaker 1: more than laughing. Yeah, I was trying to tell him
- 3:45Speaker 1: about like things I'm working on and he just thoughted me.
- 3:49Speaker 1: He was like, are you doing drugs? And I'm like, actually,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I am. Do I sound like it? Like I felt
- 3:57Speaker 1: like a junkie in that moment a little bit, So
- 4:00Speaker 1: I wish I could hear how it sounded to him
- 4:03Speaker 1: to come to that conclusion, like is this bitch a crackhead? Right?
- 4:10Speaker 2: So I just did that, and then I watched Lioness.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Y'all if y'all don't watch Lioness on Hulu. It is
- 4:16Speaker 2: so good with Zoe south Donna. I think that's how
- 4:18Speaker 2: you say her name. But yeah, do you watch that?
- 4:23Speaker 1: Duvall posted about it but I hadn't.
- 4:25Speaker 2: Oh, it's so good, you should watch it. There's a
- 4:28Speaker 2: whole We're on season two, but season one is amazing.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Season two is good too.
- 4:32Speaker 1: What's the gist of it?
- 4:34Speaker 2: It's about like basically a remember B six thirteen. There's
- 4:41Speaker 2: this secret organization government that basically does all the shit
- 4:48Speaker 2: nobody wants to do. But they're women. Interesting, they're women,
- 4:54Speaker 2: and this woman has to be trained and go in
- 4:57Speaker 2: and do some covert option shit that's next level. Like
- 5:02Speaker 2: these they have the highest security clearance and Zosal Donna
- 5:05Speaker 2: like is the head of this Lioness team, and she
- 5:11Speaker 2: a bad bitch. She don't answer to nobody, and she
- 5:13Speaker 2: talked shit like. She was like to this white man
- 5:18Speaker 2: like they did this mission and they went to the
- 5:20Speaker 2: base and he was the highest ranking person on this
- 5:21Speaker 2: base and she's like, where's your office? And he said
- 5:24Speaker 2: why She's like, because that's my office. Now. I was like, yeah,
- 5:29Speaker 2: thats right, get on ass. So I love that show.
- 5:34Speaker 2: So I watched that. They got some new episodes. Y'all
- 5:36Speaker 2: try that show out. And that was it.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Oh that sounds fun ooh.
- 5:40Speaker 2: And then I made a I made a pop pye.
- 5:45Speaker 2: It was nasty because I usually do, Like I don't
- 5:49Speaker 2: cook as much as I used to when I had
- 5:51Speaker 2: my nigga, but when I cook, it's usually good. People
- 5:55Speaker 2: all were like, oh, this is really nice. You did
- 5:58Speaker 2: your thing, baby. I didn't and I do my thing
- 6:00Speaker 2: that time. And I don't know what happened. I'm still
- 6:03Speaker 2: you see me scratching my head. I was just confused
- 6:05Speaker 2: as to what where I went wrong.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I can't stand fucking up food. I feel me either.
- 6:10Speaker 2: It pisses me off so bad. And my mom was
- 6:12Speaker 2: so sweet. She was eating her little plate and she
- 6:14Speaker 2: was like, I was like, how it tastes even though
- 6:16Speaker 2: I had tasted it, and I know it was like,
- 6:18Speaker 2: it wasn't nasty. It just didn't taste like nothing, you know,
- 6:21Speaker 2: like and I try to cut back on sodium and
- 6:24Speaker 2: things like that because my mom is high blood pressure, so.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It might taste So it might've actually tasted good to
- 6:31Speaker 1: her because she probably doesn't use that much salt in
- 6:33Speaker 1: her food anyway.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Yeah, she said it was good. She was like, it's good,
- 6:37Speaker 2: but she ain't ate no more of it. That's how
- 6:38Speaker 2: I know. Throw that whole pair.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I ain't gonna slap dunk it. Shame. Yeah, I ain't
- 6:46Speaker 1: do much this weekend either. I did finish watching the
- 6:49Speaker 1: I guess this was the TV weekend. I don't know.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I finished watching The Penguin on is that No, not Prime,
- 6:55Speaker 1: that's on Max HBO Max. That's about it, and I
- 6:59Speaker 1: do I love Batman shit and.
- 7:03Speaker 2: He talks about the Penguin. I need to go see
- 7:05Speaker 2: it needs.
- 7:06Speaker 1: A piece of ship. That last episode, dog, I'm like
- 7:09Speaker 1: yo the whole time. I'm like, Yo, this nigga really
- 7:11Speaker 1: a sociopath and that last episode just i't that shit
- 7:16Speaker 1: pissed me off. So bad the last episode if y'all
- 7:20Speaker 1: watched the thing when y'all know what I'm talking about.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody was on Facebook like fuck the penguin. Yo, shit,
- 7:29Speaker 2: Well we're not supposed to like the penguin. He's a villain,
- 7:31Speaker 2: you know, and.
- 7:33Speaker 1: He's been a villain since he was a child, you know.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But the storyline is different. Remember like on Batman, like
- 7:40Speaker 1: his storyline was his parents like dropped him in the
- 7:42Speaker 1: sewer and he grew up down there. Like that's not
- 7:44Speaker 1: the storyline on the series.
- 7:47Speaker 2: It is not so because who can't how can anybody grow? It?
- 7:51Speaker 1: Ain't no penguins underneath. I mean it's Gotham City, right,
- 7:54Speaker 1: But I thought Gotham City is New York City. But
- 7:56Speaker 1: does New York have penguins in the sewer? No zombies,
- 8:02Speaker 1: it's rats, big ones, big dogs down that bitch.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Rats to ties.
- 8:08Speaker 1: So that was my weekend. I do much chill out,
- 8:10Speaker 1: relax and made sure I made it to a new
- 8:14Speaker 1: week help.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Man, Okay, all of us, all of us listening, we here,
- 8:19Speaker 2: we blessed?
- 8:20Speaker 1: Yes, So did you see that old girls marrying my
- 8:27Speaker 1: motherfucking boyfriend?
- 8:28Speaker 2: Like I saw that Meghan Good and Jonathan majors are engaged. Okay,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'm happy for them. I'm any I'm happy anytime black
- 8:38Speaker 2: people get engaged because it's just so hard for us dating.
- 8:41Speaker 2: So anytime people will find love. Look at your face,
- 8:43Speaker 2: fix your face, y'all, aj is frowned up.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I like Meghan Goood though she can have them, she
- 8:51Speaker 1: can have them. Megan Goood is one of my faves. Okay,
- 8:53Speaker 1: y'all can't talk shit. I heard she's very much so
- 8:56Speaker 1: a real life sweetheart, So she has my blessings. On
- 9:01Speaker 1: the engagement to my.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Too, I hope the last. I hope they stay together
- 9:05Speaker 2: for forever, indefinitely. Now people are concerned with their finances
- 9:11Speaker 2: and saying that Megan Good might be footing the bill
- 9:14Speaker 2: for all the things, and maybe she bought her own
- 9:16Speaker 2: ring and all this crazy stuff. And my response to
- 9:20Speaker 2: them is, who fucking cares? It ain't tricking if you
- 9:24Speaker 2: got it, I don't care if she happy. If she happy,
- 9:27Speaker 2: she could spend every dollar she got on that nigga.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I wouldn't give a damn as long as they happy
- 9:30Speaker 2: and they treating each other, right, Who am I to judge?
- 9:33Speaker 1: So weird? Like why we talk about people rich people
- 9:37Speaker 1: finances now, Like, I'm pretty that Nigga had some pretty
- 9:41Speaker 1: good movies. He has to have a little something. He
- 9:44Speaker 1: has to have money, like.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And it's not over for him. I think there's gonna
- 9:49Speaker 2: be major motion pictures in his future. You know, he's
- 9:53Speaker 2: a great actor, and he seems like a nice guy,
- 9:56Speaker 2: especially like being ugly for so long and then yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 2: he probably the nicest nigga ever.
- 10:03Speaker 1: He probably said that ugly Nigga still inside him, right.
- 10:07Speaker 2: He's probably so good to her, like he just can't
- 10:10Speaker 2: even believe he wear.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Her so weird though, don't you think he looks more
- 10:15Speaker 1: weirder with her? He was so sexy single and then
- 10:19Speaker 1: once they got together, It's like I never seen somebody
- 10:22Speaker 1: get more lame once they get a relationship, like a
- 10:26Speaker 1: public It.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Was when he did that whole down dance at that party,
- 10:29Speaker 2: That's what That's what I was like, corn, He looked
- 10:39Speaker 2: like he was having a good time. Though I'm not
- 10:41Speaker 2: a fan of his particular fashion choices either. I think
- 10:45Speaker 2: that's what makes him not as cute. Like, but once
- 10:48Speaker 2: he gets to acting again and we get to see
- 10:50Speaker 2: him and all his very viril madness, because he just
- 10:54Speaker 2: got a very strong masculine energy and everything that he
- 10:57Speaker 2: playing will be able to fall back in love.
- 11:01Speaker 1: I think that it's just people are really miserable. Yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 1: anytime I see black people smiling, happy, just doing all
- 11:13Speaker 1: the things, I'm happy for them. I don't have nothing
- 11:16Speaker 1: negative to say about that. Like how could you look
- 11:18Speaker 1: at this union and say all that Nigga look broke?
- 11:21Speaker 1: She paid for her own ring, Like.
- 11:23Speaker 2: That is so people are miserable, Like really, what.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Is the problem. Like a lot of people need to
- 11:30Speaker 1: do some internal deep diving, man, because what when I
- 11:34Speaker 1: saw it, I'm like good for them because we just
- 11:36Speaker 1: saw headlines saying that they broke up. Yeah, I saw
- 11:40Speaker 1: headlines like last week, week before last saying that they
- 11:43Speaker 1: split and it was like right around the time that
- 11:46Speaker 1: we saw her ex husband come out public with his boo.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Yeah it's crazy. That's the thing about being celebrity, like
- 11:56Speaker 2: because people break up and get back together all the time,
- 11:59Speaker 2: and they move on, people become exes and find new
- 12:03Speaker 2: people and nobody gives a fuck. But for whatever reason,
- 12:05Speaker 2: we care who Megan good ex husband Nuboo is You're stupid?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Who cares? You know?
- 12:13Speaker 1: I don't know, especially women, they be trying to count
- 12:15Speaker 1: our bodies up publicly like the celebrity women, you get
- 12:18Speaker 1: your bodies. The only person I've seen them do that too,
- 12:20Speaker 1: other than like a woman was future. I did see
- 12:23Speaker 1: a post where they list off future bodies they can't
- 12:26Speaker 1: even know of the beginning and Nick Cannon and those
- 12:29Speaker 1: are just people who have had children. For these men,
- 12:31Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that they probably got about five thousand
- 12:34Speaker 1: bodies under their belt. Yeah, a lot that shit wild.
- 12:39Speaker 1: The average man got at least five hundred bodies. Well,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you know, no, my conversations for men who've been getting
- 12:47Speaker 1: pussy since high school, they definitely got five hundred bodies easy.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Five hundred sexual partners live just.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Divided over twelve months, and you know what I'm saying.
- 12:57Speaker 1: So they started having sex at whatever age each right,
- 13:02Speaker 1: and now they forty forty something shit ten bodies a year.
- 13:09Speaker 1: That's that won't even give you. That gave you a
- 13:11Speaker 1: less than five hundred niggas with way more than people
- 13:16Speaker 1: in that in a year's time. I think men who
- 13:18Speaker 1: actually have access.
- 13:19Speaker 2: To women, I don't know aj that is excessive. Five
- 13:24Speaker 2: hundred bodies? Are they porno stars? Because hit us up?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Let us know how many bodies you got if you're man,
- 13:31Speaker 1: prove me wrong.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Oh that's a lot. That's here. You scared me, and they.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Gonna call you a hole for twenty bodies, okay, right, twenty.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Is a good number, right by forty?
- 13:44Speaker 1: Yeah, five hundred, five.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Hundred thousand, hundred is no plus.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I think five hundred to two thousand is the average
- 13:53Speaker 1: man body count to two thousand, yes, yes, still yeah,
- 14:00Speaker 1: two thousand. Bitches, we are sucking these reused penises like.
- 14:05Speaker 2: I'm not sucking nothing no more. I'm done. So next,
- 14:12Speaker 2: next thing? All right, Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight.
- 14:15Speaker 2: Did you watch it?
- 14:16Speaker 1: I did not watch it. I went to sleep.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Like all the rest of the people born in the eighties.
- 14:22Speaker 1: I didn't know until today that he didn't win. I didn't.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I didn't care to watch it for real when they
- 14:33Speaker 1: canceled it earlier this year when they I think they
- 14:35Speaker 1: were supposed to fight, like when in August something he got. Yeah,
- 14:39Speaker 1: I just I don't know. I forgot about it, really,
- 14:41Speaker 1: and I'm like, damn, that's happening.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I fucked up. So I watched it. I was
- 14:47Speaker 2: sitting there trying to watch it, and I was with
- 14:49Speaker 2: my god kids, and their mom was like, I don't
- 14:51Speaker 2: want them to see fighting, so I paused it while
- 14:55Speaker 2: they were in the room with me, and then when
- 14:58Speaker 2: they left, I I went and I pressed play right
- 15:02Speaker 2: but I thought it was going to take me to
- 15:05Speaker 2: the space where it was live, but it just started
- 15:09Speaker 2: me right back where I left off. And I wasn't
- 15:11Speaker 2: paying attention because it wasn't Tyson fighting. It was the
- 15:14Speaker 2: undercards that were fighting, right, So I wasn't paying attention
- 15:17Speaker 2: to who was on the screen, and it just was
- 15:19Speaker 2: on and I pressed play and it took me right
- 15:22Speaker 2: back where I left off instead of to where it was.
- 15:25Speaker 2: And this was hours later. So I'm just sitting there
- 15:29Speaker 2: like it's about almost winning. The more I'm like, god,
- 15:31Speaker 2: damn Tyson. I came out, Yeah, what the fuck? And
- 15:34Speaker 2: then I called one of my homeboys and I was like,
- 15:36Speaker 2: what you doing. He's like watching the fight. It's almost over.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Then I was like, yeah, I already for Tyson to
- 15:42Speaker 2: come out. He was like eighth Brown. I'm like what.
- 15:46Speaker 2: He's like, I'm watching it right now. I'm like how
- 15:49Speaker 2: so I missed the whole fight thinking I was still
- 15:52Speaker 2: waiting on it. It was over.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I saw a lot of people saying that Netflix was lagging.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah it was miss and I was
- 16:01Speaker 2: thinking mine is perfectly fine. But it was perfectly fine
- 16:04Speaker 2: because I was so far behind. It was so I
- 16:08Speaker 2: missed it. I missed the whole fight. But I did
- 16:11Speaker 2: get to see Tyson's ass before the fight, yo, because.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I finally saw the actual ass all the most most
- 16:18Speaker 1: of the pictures that were online were like the blurred
- 16:20Speaker 1: out version, but I saw the actual ass.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Now, it's not a bad ass. I've seen some bad
- 16:29Speaker 2: asses walk away from me. Okay, that wasn't a bad ass.
- 16:34Speaker 1: For fifty had a lot of creases in that booty
- 16:36Speaker 1: at the bottom and he fifty eight that nigging? Why? Why?
- 16:41Speaker 1: Why is that what they wear? It normally underneath the
- 16:44Speaker 1: clothes that What is that called a jock jock strap?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Is that most people who play sports wear jockstraps like that? Yeah?
- 16:51Speaker 2: Absolutely? Men?
- 16:52Speaker 1: Oh is that like to keep the balls cuffed up? Nice?
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah? Keep them protected?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Okay from harm? Why why the fuck was they even
- 17:00Speaker 1: talking to him in that?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Why with his body? He's very comfortable with his body.
- 17:09Speaker 2: But they could have cut they could have cut it.
- 17:11Speaker 2: The was it live? Because they could have cut it
- 17:14Speaker 2: before it got to the ass.
- 17:16Speaker 1: But Mike Tyson don't give a fuck no more.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Okay, but when I seen that ass, I knew he
- 17:20Speaker 2: was gonna lose tho.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was like, Oh, yeah, that's a losing ass.
- 17:25Speaker 2: This should be an exhibition fight instead of a winner.
- 17:28Speaker 1: He got twenty million, he want we won?
- 17:32Speaker 2: Yeah, in sixteen minutes of fighting. I fight J Paul
- 17:37Speaker 2: for sixteen minutes.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Both of us can get on there. Did you ever
- 17:39Speaker 1: see that video? It's two girls like jumping into one
- 17:42Speaker 1: guy in the cage fighting like the he was whooping
- 17:44Speaker 1: as I think me and you could win, bitch.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I think that man a whoop. I ass that man did.
- 17:51Speaker 2: Just see how he did not hold back because they
- 17:53Speaker 2: was women.
- 17:56Speaker 1: I just feel like I can fight really well. Like
- 17:58Speaker 1: I feel like I feel like it was me and
- 18:01Speaker 1: one of my Like it was me and Priscilla. We
- 18:03Speaker 1: fucking him up big time.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Listen, maybe in the first round, but I'm talking about
- 18:09Speaker 2: around after round, y'all. Go get to y'all. Old bitch
- 18:11Speaker 2: is gonna get tired. He was and fat, y'all not
- 18:14Speaker 2: y'all haven't trained for that.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I do cycling. That is enough too, Like I got
- 18:20Speaker 1: enough stamina to punch a little bit.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Listen, I cycle over one thousand miles in two twenty
- 18:26Speaker 2: four before my foot broke, and I still don't feel
- 18:30Speaker 2: like that white man I could take him. I'm just sorry.
- 18:35Speaker 1: I'm gonna do all the thing. I'm grabbing them balls
- 18:38Speaker 1: from the bath.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Let me tell you, I'm doing dancing around the ring
- 18:41Speaker 2: the whole time, trying not to get hit.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think me and a homegirl could
- 18:47Speaker 1: have fucked him up. Man, them white girls is too slim.
- 18:51Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a little. Yeah.
- 18:52Speaker 1: I feel like, man, I just can't wait to kick
- 18:55Speaker 1: sweep a nigga. Like that's really my fitness goals is
- 18:58Speaker 1: to get to the point to where like I can
- 19:00Speaker 1: kicksweeping nigga mid conversation, like kick these Well, you.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Need to go keep going to the gym, baby, because
- 19:06Speaker 2: I think that white man will fuck you and Priscilla.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Maybe not the first round, but round two. All right,
- 19:13Speaker 2: what happened?
- 19:14Speaker 1: Oh UFOs, Yeah, I saw that, it says Lauren Bobert
- 19:19Speaker 1: Probes UFO experts on existence of underwater alien bases on Earth.
- 19:24Speaker 1: The American people are being kept in the dark. I
- 19:27Speaker 1: don't know if y'all notice or not this might have
- 19:28Speaker 1: been like in twenty nineteen. I think this is during
- 19:36Speaker 1: Trump Trump's presidency. He did have a lot of classified
- 19:39Speaker 1: documents unclassified and y'all can find them on I got
- 19:43Speaker 1: multiple websites, y'all can find some of these documents. But
- 19:46Speaker 1: they've been knowing this, right. We would be ignorant to
- 19:50Speaker 1: think that we are the only beings in this galaxy,
- 19:55Speaker 1: in this universe, on this planet.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Absolutely, I think not only is it ignorant, it's narcissistic
- 20:06Speaker 2: almost to believe like that you're just the only thing.
- 20:10Speaker 2: You're just so great, you're the only thing here. Like
- 20:13Speaker 2: that's insane to even think that it's narcissistic. The word
- 20:18Speaker 2: I'm looking for it. Maybe it's arrogant, Yeah, arrogant. Arrogant
- 20:25Speaker 2: is the word I'm thinking. To believe that you're the
- 20:27Speaker 2: only thing to exist. And you know how we can
- 20:31Speaker 2: only go so deep in the water before we it
- 20:36Speaker 2: exposed our bodies and our heads and our brains. I'm
- 20:38Speaker 2: sure it's aliens that can only go so high before
- 20:43Speaker 2: it hurts them, you know, And like those whales and shit,
- 20:48Speaker 2: I always call those aliens. Those are the aliens that
- 20:51Speaker 2: could get closer to us.
- 20:52Speaker 1: You know, yeah, they have not explored like the most
- 20:56Speaker 1: of most of the planet is water, and they have
- 20:59Speaker 1: not explored. Lord, we can't even go that deep into
- 21:02Speaker 1: the ocean to see what's actually going on down there.
- 21:05Speaker 1: And then there's some places where you go into the
- 21:07Speaker 1: ocean and you end up in another ocean. Like there's
- 21:10Speaker 1: land right and more ocean. The ship is.
- 21:14Speaker 2: It's unbelievable, so vast, it's amazing. So it's just a
- 21:18Speaker 2: very small portion like the time. Like if you think
- 21:22Speaker 2: about the universe and how big it is and how
- 21:25Speaker 2: many galaxies and planets there are, we are so small.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So sitting here talking about Jonathan Major's and Megan getting married,
- 21:34Speaker 2: it's just like so dumb in a green about it.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But see, I don't think I never thought that. Well,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I won't say I never thought, because this is what
- 21:42Speaker 1: we're taught in schools, right, that outer space is up.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I think for I think outer space is actually over
- 21:48Speaker 1: and down. I don't think that there's like the moons
- 21:51Speaker 1: and shit are up in the sky. There's alternative maps
- 21:53Speaker 1: out there right that shows what Earth actually looks like.
- 21:57Speaker 1: And some people may say the moon looks like the
- 21:59Speaker 1: moon is actually a mirror. So if you want to
- 22:01Speaker 1: see what it actually looks like, the grade out areas
- 22:04Speaker 1: on the Moon is actually what Earth looks like. So
- 22:10Speaker 1: the other planets are to the side of us, not up.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And this goes into fla flat Earth theory and shit
- 22:18Speaker 1: like that. But all things have to be considered. Science
- 22:20Speaker 1: is forever changing, so you got to consider all things,
- 22:24Speaker 1: so it says. During a hearing held by a subcommittee
- 22:27Speaker 1: of the House Oversight Committee in Washington, c Wednesday, Bobert
- 22:31Speaker 1: asked a group of experts if they had any knowledge
- 22:34Speaker 1: of the Department of Defense was involved. Excuse me, had
- 22:37Speaker 1: any knowledge if the Department of Defense was involved with
- 22:40Speaker 1: any secretive projects involving the manipulation of human genetics with
- 22:46Speaker 1: non human genetic material. A team of four experts consisting
- 22:51Speaker 1: of retired Navy rear Admiral doctor Tim I think this
- 22:56Speaker 1: is pronounced galladute galladet, former deal the official Lewis Elizondo,
- 23:03Speaker 1: and former NASA Associate Administrator of Space Policy Michael Gold
- 23:09Speaker 1: and a journalist Michael Schillenberger, testified that the government lacks
- 23:16Speaker 1: transparency with the public regarding UAPs and alien life. During
- 23:22Speaker 1: the hearing, dubbed unidentified anonymalous phenomena Exposing the Truth. Robert
- 23:30Speaker 1: asked experts about rumors that have come up regarding a
- 23:34Speaker 1: secretive project within a Department of Defense involving the manipulation.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'm want to look into this because this is I
- 23:41Speaker 1: see it a headline. But now they're talking about genetics
- 23:43Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Now we can go into like
- 23:46Speaker 1: different mythologies out there on how humans like the today's
- 23:51Speaker 1: human actually came about. And our ancestors from the future,
- 23:55Speaker 1: that's what I like to call them, because you can't
- 23:57Speaker 1: tell me that they weren't more tech technologically, technologically advanced
- 24:04Speaker 1: that we were. It's some structures that we can rebuild today.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Why we don't have that technology, you know, but we
- 24:09Speaker 1: acting like we're the smartest out here. But it's a
- 24:12Speaker 1: lot of technology I think that was passed down or
- 24:14Speaker 1: even found that they use and they kind of sprinkle
- 24:17Speaker 1: it out to us. Give us a little bit old
- 24:19Speaker 1: cell phones. They been had cell phones. That's new. I
- 24:22Speaker 1: mean that's old. It's new to us. But the government
- 24:25Speaker 1: ben had this technology. Where did it come from? Wi Fi?
- 24:30Speaker 1: I think that shit just exists. I think I think
- 24:32Speaker 1: energy lights just exist.
- 24:34Speaker 2: And we're paying for it. Well, it's all energy is
- 24:36Speaker 2: all around us, is everywhere, but we pay for it.
- 24:39Speaker 2: That's the part I don't like exactly.
- 24:41Speaker 1: So what if energy were free, that would free us up?
- 24:46Speaker 1: That would that we are literally like in bondage because
- 24:49Speaker 1: of lights.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Bills period, especially lights, because ain't no way vegas using
- 24:59Speaker 2: all that elect I got to pay this light bill
- 25:02Speaker 2: right here. That's stupid to me, exactly.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 25:07Speaker 2: We should have band together, y'all and just don't pay
- 25:10Speaker 2: another light bill.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Taxes because what the fuck, y'all, what we do with
- 25:14Speaker 1: all the money. Like, I'm afraid at all all, I
- 25:18Speaker 1: don't The fucking infrastructure sucks. You go to places like Dubai,
- 25:22Speaker 1: they should is let America does not look like that. Okay,
- 25:27Speaker 1: we are not building in that way like our ancestors
- 25:31Speaker 1: from the future did, so I don't know. I think
- 25:33Speaker 1: we will start seeing some even more strange things. I
- 25:36Speaker 1: think they are prepping us for things they already know.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Or y'all ever read that, You ever read that book?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Behold a pale horse in that book? This is uhi
- 25:50Speaker 1: ci a operative William Cooper, who the government eliminated at
- 25:57Speaker 1: some point right after this book was produced, and the
- 26:00Speaker 1: actually have changed this book a couple times. There's some
- 26:03Speaker 1: edited versions out there now. But he talks about how
- 26:06Speaker 1: the US government will introduce us UFOs as if it's
- 26:10Speaker 1: this outside entity, but it's actually the US government that
- 26:14Speaker 1: are putting this. Uh they call it a They want
- 26:20Speaker 1: everybody to feel like we have a common enemy basically, right,
- 26:25Speaker 1: but it's actually them attacking the people. Is the government
- 26:28Speaker 1: created these things will end up start seeing up in
- 26:31Speaker 1: the sky and shit AI not even AI. There are
- 26:36Speaker 1: actual ships and things like that, that technology that we
- 26:40Speaker 1: already have. But imagine anybody could show up right now
- 26:43Speaker 1: and just look completely. Remember that shit that happened in
- 26:46Speaker 1: Miami with the aliens allisurely. All of those people said
- 26:51Speaker 1: they saw what they saw, right, you know, well.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I believe in aliens. I believe it was aliens in
- 27:02Speaker 2: the Bible. They just didn't call them that.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Giants and ship, Yeah, I think the I think we
- 27:08Speaker 1: just evolved into something different because of the environment. Those
- 27:13Speaker 1: those two are ancestors. Remember when Brittany Grinder went to prison,
- 27:19Speaker 1: mm hmm, and I was I believe that she is
- 27:22Speaker 1: a fucking descendant of the Annarchy or Nephelim something. That
- 27:27Speaker 1: girl has a wingspan of seven feet. That is a
- 27:31Speaker 1: modern day giant. That's a woman. I got people in
- 27:35Speaker 1: my family big and tall like that women. So we
- 27:38Speaker 1: just started shrinking because of the environment.
- 27:40Speaker 2: I think, Yeah, that's crazy. Seven foot is big.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah she's six ' nine.
- 27:46Speaker 2: I wouldn't know. I mean, I was about to say
- 27:48Speaker 2: something disguster. All right, I'm not gonna say, man, is
- 27:52Speaker 2: this inappropriate? We love you, Brittany, y'all. So next week
- 27:57Speaker 2: is Thanksgiving and on this EPISOD, so we want to
- 28:00Speaker 2: share some of our recipes. Now. I won't share my
- 28:02Speaker 2: pop Pye recipe because I fucked it up and I
- 28:05Speaker 2: don't want you all to make that. But I will
- 28:07Speaker 2: share one of my recipes that people rave about when
- 28:10Speaker 2: they have it, and a good cocktail.
- 28:13Speaker 1: What you gonna share aging, I'm gonna share a Charston
- 28:17Speaker 1: local dish that we are known for and a good mocktail.
- 28:23Speaker 1: I'm not drinking no more, man, I'm over that shit.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna get into it when we get back.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Stay tuned. All right, guys, we're back, and I have
- 28:36Speaker 2: my recipe. I'm gonna do some good old candy ams
- 28:43Speaker 2: candy you don't like candy ams.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Absolutely, So why you boom? My shit, it's fun to boo.
- 28:50Speaker 2: You boom? Mean girl, Mean girl. So, first of all,
- 28:56Speaker 2: I don't know why we call it candy ams because
- 28:58Speaker 2: they're not yams. They're candy sweet potatoes. I just have
- 29:03Speaker 2: an issue with that for whatever reason, it just don't
- 29:05Speaker 2: sit right with my spirit.
- 29:06Speaker 1: Getmboozled.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I've never had a yam in my life, have you? Yeah,
- 29:11Speaker 2: I've never eaten a yam. I don't know why they
- 29:14Speaker 2: call it candy yams. Yeah, Oh no, I'm lying. I've
- 29:17Speaker 2: had pounded yam with a goosey suit.
- 29:19Speaker 1: That's yam, right, Yeah, Because mostly Africans and Caribbean people
- 29:23Speaker 1: eat the yam the root people call yam. But they
- 29:28Speaker 1: all they are all they are all roots, like the
- 29:30Speaker 1: sweet potatoes a root mm hm. So I think that's
- 29:34Speaker 1: why they just they call it a candy jam because
- 29:37Speaker 1: they look alike. They might be different in taste, but.
- 29:40Speaker 2: It ain't the same shit. And if you go get
- 29:42Speaker 2: some yams trying to make sweet potatoes, your family gonna
- 29:46Speaker 2: be upstand with you.
- 29:47Speaker 1: What the let us know who out here really going
- 29:50Speaker 1: to do? Somebody tell you how to cook sweet potatoes.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Are y'all really gonna go to the store and pick
- 29:54Speaker 1: up a purple yam ya doing that?
- 29:56Speaker 2: No? No better? And this was your first time? I
- 29:59Speaker 2: done went to some holiday dinners that was like, oh
- 30:03Speaker 2: my god. I remember one of my before I get
- 30:09Speaker 2: into my recipe, I went, this is when I was
- 30:11Speaker 2: living in Europe, and obviously there's no Thanksgiving in Europe
- 30:14Speaker 2: because they don't celebrate. Yeah, it's the American holiday. They
- 30:18Speaker 2: why would they celebrate that? It's literally against them pretty
- 30:22Speaker 2: much Thanksgiving. So I went to one of my friend girls,
- 30:30Speaker 2: she was Caucasian girl had Thanksgiving, and I just went
- 30:36Speaker 2: to a couple of pieces of people's houses. I stopped
- 30:38Speaker 2: by a lot of places, and I went by her
- 30:40Speaker 2: house and she made some mashed potatoes and it was
- 30:45Speaker 2: literally boiled potatoes mashed up and then put it in
- 30:50Speaker 2: a bowl.
- 30:53Speaker 1: No no butter, no cream, no chives, no.
- 30:57Speaker 2: No seasoning, no nothing, no papa, no butter, no nothing.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Potato mash. And you know, you don't want to be
- 31:12Speaker 2: rude at people's house. You gotta eat something.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I don't.
- 31:18Speaker 2: I don't. I don't. I don't like to eat food.
- 31:21Speaker 2: I don't go to people's house for dinner and then
- 31:23Speaker 2: don't eat nothing. That's just rude. You gotta eat something.
- 31:26Speaker 2: They're gonna be looking at you why, like why the
- 31:27Speaker 2: fuck you came. If you're not gonna you're insulting the family,
- 31:31Speaker 2: the chef by not eating something, you know, So you
- 31:35Speaker 2: got to eat something. So I just had. I had
- 31:38Speaker 2: a little mashed potatoes and I had some turkey. You know,
- 31:43Speaker 2: the turkey wasn't bad. But I've gone to another house,
- 31:46Speaker 2: one of my friends from New Orleans, and I was like,
- 31:49Speaker 2: oh yeah, this shit about to be busting, and her
- 31:52Speaker 2: mac and cheese was spaghetti news, and I.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Was just what.
- 31:56Speaker 2: I was so upset. I could not believe that I
- 32:00Speaker 2: saved my stomach because I just knew it was gonna
- 32:02Speaker 2: be the shit, and she's spaghetti news for her macaroni,
- 32:05Speaker 2: and I just I was ready to fist fight.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I don't know, I'd be eyeballing people's shit. And if
- 32:15Speaker 1: it doesn't, if it's not like appealing to my eyes,
- 32:18Speaker 1: I can't force myself to eat it, you know, because
- 32:21Speaker 1: and then I think it's even worse to slam dunk
- 32:23Speaker 1: someone's plate in the trash in their house. So I
- 32:25Speaker 1: just don't want to risk it. You know, I'll take
- 32:27Speaker 1: a dessert instead, like I'll I already eat. Let me
- 32:31Speaker 1: try a dessert, you know, because how can you really
- 32:33Speaker 1: fuck dessert up? But people be fucking dessert up?
- 32:36Speaker 2: People can fuck up anything. I'm fine, I'm finding, but
- 32:40Speaker 2: I will. I'm not gonna ever go to someone's house
- 32:42Speaker 2: and not eat something. I'm gonna make it happen firm
- 32:46Speaker 2: because I'm just I don't want to hurt nobody feelings,
- 32:48Speaker 2: especially if they invite you to their home and they're
- 32:50Speaker 2: sharing their meal with you. You gotta eat something. But oh no,
- 32:55Speaker 2: all right, someone throw up over here. I don't typically
- 33:00Speaker 2: to eat their houses where they have cats. No shade,
- 33:03Speaker 2: excuse me, no shade.
- 33:06Speaker 1: On Wait a minute, let me talk about my cat,
- 33:08Speaker 1: right quick, y'all. One thing I know now since having
- 33:12Speaker 1: a cat, is that people discriminate against cats, even stores.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Why is there a like you can go to a
- 33:18Speaker 1: pet store. Most of the store is dog shit. You
- 33:21Speaker 1: kept you got like one little corner of cat stuff.
- 33:24Speaker 1: You know why? Because cats are very low maintenance. Cats
- 33:29Speaker 1: are not nasty. It's nasty people who have cats that
- 33:34Speaker 1: is the problem. They don't clean out litter boxes, let
- 33:37Speaker 1: the cat walk up on the fucking counter and do
- 33:39Speaker 1: what the hell they want to do. So it's still
- 33:41Speaker 1: not the cat. It is the human that's nasty.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, but cats aren't doing what they want to do.
- 33:48Speaker 1: No, they can also be trained. Cats can be trained
- 33:51Speaker 1: like my I have to be on my cat ass
- 33:53Speaker 1: about doing certain things, like you have to train them.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I'm party training her right now too, and she's been
- 33:59Speaker 1: little box trains and she was seven weeks. So it's
- 34:02Speaker 1: just bad people with pets. Yeah, you better eat my food.
- 34:08Speaker 1: You come over here with this.
- 34:11Speaker 2: You would not have your cat walking on your stove.
- 34:14Speaker 1: Eating the salmon and you still you've seen that video
- 34:16Speaker 1: the cat tore off, yes, and she's still cooking.
- 34:21Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's next level.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Do we really have a food shortage? Do food really
- 34:27Speaker 1: cost too much? The way people be wasting food for
- 34:29Speaker 1: content on social media?
- 34:33Speaker 2: I don't know. I know there's an E Cola breakout
- 34:36Speaker 2: and the carrots from all the good places that you
- 34:38Speaker 2: would get your whole foods, whole foods. That's it seems
- 34:43Speaker 2: like every week something is newly contaminated. Right, it's scary.
- 34:47Speaker 2: What's going on with our FDA? Done? Got are they
- 34:51Speaker 2: on crack? Because relax.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I think people would be real surprised if they saw
- 34:58Speaker 1: how much of our food comes from outside this country.
- 35:02Speaker 1: And then you think that any type of warfare would
- 35:05Speaker 1: start with boots on the ground in the country. They
- 35:06Speaker 1: don't have to. They actually could control our supply chain.
- 35:10Speaker 1: They control our we call customer service, these people ask
- 35:13Speaker 1: are on the phone like they haven't enabled them to
- 35:16Speaker 1: fuck us up, and I feel like that's actually what's happening.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I saw a video that just pissed me off about
- 35:22Speaker 2: grass fed beef and it was cows, but they were
- 35:25Speaker 2: still in like housed in like something that looked similar
- 35:29Speaker 2: to a warehouse, and they were just dropping grass on
- 35:32Speaker 2: top of their heads. I'm like, I know you fucking
- 35:36Speaker 2: lying because I just saw a grass fed cow was
- 35:38Speaker 2: out in the pasture living a pleasant life. No, they're
- 35:43Speaker 2: dropping grass on their head and saying this grass fed.
- 35:47Speaker 1: The word organic don't mean what we think either, Like
- 35:50Speaker 1: that is really a marketing term basically, because.
- 35:54Speaker 2: A lot of life, just like human hair on a pack,
- 35:57Speaker 2: it's the same life. That is.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You mean you got some good as synthetic weave?
- 36:07Speaker 2: Oh my goods? All right, So I'm gonna get into
- 36:09Speaker 2: my candy m recipe. Okay, so let's say I'm just
- 36:13Speaker 2: gonna give you a measurement for about four large sweet potatoes.
- 36:18Speaker 2: You're gonna take your You're gonna wash them thoroughly. You guys,
- 36:21Speaker 2: wash your potatoes. They come out the ground. They're not
- 36:24Speaker 2: clean from the grocery store. Please wash your potatoes cold water.
- 36:30Speaker 2: I get a stick of unsalted butter, two cups of
- 36:35Speaker 2: granulated sugar, and this, this is one of the things
- 36:38Speaker 2: I add into my sweet potatoes that people don't typically do.
- 36:43Speaker 2: I use one fourth cup of heavy whipping cream.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Cream and every fucking thing this bench heavy whooping cream
- 36:54Speaker 1: and eggs. You really want them. Instagram cooks they use
- 36:57Speaker 1: heavy whipping cream on every plea.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's every It's so good. It is so bad, Yeah
- 37:04Speaker 2: it is. That's what my thigh as big as they
- 37:06Speaker 2: are right now. A three fourth cup of brown sugar lighter,
- 37:10Speaker 2: darker light, which I only use Thanksgiving and Christmas, and
- 37:15Speaker 2: then it go hard in the cabinet. I never can
- 37:17Speaker 2: use the same brown sugar. Can do that shit even
- 37:20Speaker 2: last a year.
- 37:22Speaker 1: You just have to seal it up. See y'all be
- 37:23Speaker 1: having all these containers and shit open up in the
- 37:26Speaker 1: damn cabinets.
- 37:27Speaker 2: It in the box, and then I just rolled a
- 37:30Speaker 2: little plastic up and stick it down inside the box.
- 37:33Speaker 2: But it's still be hard.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Because it's still air coming in there. I put my
- 37:36Speaker 1: shit in the zip lock bag.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Yeahron sugar, get a new box, a new box. Yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 2: all right, So then two tablespoons no, no, I'm lying
- 37:50Speaker 2: two tea spoons, two to three teaspoons of cinnamon. You
- 37:56Speaker 2: use a lot more cinnamon than that.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I eyeball it when I make.
- 38:00Speaker 2: These numbers are so ancestors really tell me? But you
- 38:04Speaker 2: know I'm giving you ball apart, right.
- 38:05Speaker 1: It depends on how much potato I have. So you said,
- 38:08Speaker 1: like four potato's really not a lot once you cook
- 38:10Speaker 1: that down.
- 38:11Speaker 2: That's this ingredients is like the feet about four.
- 38:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but those are those Nigga service sizes.
- 38:20Speaker 2: I didn't know how to, like, I didn't want to
- 38:22Speaker 2: say eight large potatoes like I'm just you know, you
- 38:24Speaker 2: can do measure it for your family. But this was
- 38:27Speaker 2: like the feed four A half teaspoon of nutmeg, fourth
- 38:35Speaker 2: teaspoon of ginger, a forest, a fourth teaspoon of salt.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Do you put any salt salt? Cut? It needs to
- 38:45Speaker 2: cut a little bit I use a little bit of.
- 38:49Speaker 1: What why not just use less sugar if you're trying
- 38:51Speaker 1: to cut the sugar content.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I don't know. It just does something extra for it.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I don't know. It makes it better to me two
- 39:00Speaker 2: tablespoons of Mexican vanilla extract. It gotta be Mexican, Okay,
- 39:04Speaker 2: So what's the difference between that?
- 39:05Speaker 1: Now? Because I've never even heard about Mexican vanilla extract,
- 39:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I can't even tell you what I was. So I
- 39:14Speaker 2: took what I always do is I'll take a recipe
- 39:17Speaker 2: that I like or that i've been using, and I
- 39:20Speaker 2: might like, go somewhere and have and I'll be like,
- 39:22Speaker 2: what you put in yours? And they'd be like, oh,
- 39:24Speaker 2: I use this, and I'll feel yeah. So it'll be
- 39:29Speaker 2: a little bit of my shit, a little bit of
- 39:30Speaker 2: their shit, a little bit of something from online, and
- 39:33Speaker 2: then I've created this masterpiece.
- 39:36Speaker 1: So I know that Mexican spices and stuff in the
- 39:39Speaker 1: grocery store are usually cheaper. Is that why they have
- 39:42Speaker 1: it there? Because it just regular vanilla extract? Because I
- 39:46Speaker 1: swear to god, I never heard no damn Mexican vanilla extract.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Or maybe it's just from Mexico is.
- 39:51Speaker 2: That let's see Mexican vanilla versus Mexican vanilla bee's are
- 39:57Speaker 2: thicker than other varietes. The flavor profile of the Mexican
- 40:00Speaker 2: vanilla beans is similar to Madagascar vanilla beans, though the
- 40:04Speaker 2: Mexican vanilla is mellower, smoother quality and spicy woody fragrance
- 40:09Speaker 2: that provides a depth other than vanilla beans can't match it.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Okay, So that's it hit harder, got it?
- 40:18Speaker 2: It just hit different.
- 40:19Speaker 1: I might have to try out that little Mexican Mexican vanilla, okay, yep.
- 40:24Speaker 2: And then a half teaspoon of nutmeg, two pinches of
- 40:30Speaker 2: ground cloth, well, don't put that in yours, and and
- 40:38Speaker 2: then a tablespoon of pure maple syrup. It gotta be
- 40:41Speaker 2: one hundred percent maple. It can't be that shit that
- 40:43Speaker 2: you put on your pancakes and shit, no pure maple.
- 40:47Speaker 2: That's another ship I don't use. But Thanksgiving and Christmas
- 40:50Speaker 2: and then it gets thrown out. I'll pull it out
- 40:52Speaker 2: the next year and I'll be like syrup, Yeah, I
- 40:56Speaker 2: don't keep it. It's a year old. I just throw
- 40:58Speaker 2: it out.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I only use maple syrup because the other regular syrup,
- 41:02Speaker 1: like Anchiemima and shit like that. That's not actual syrup.
- 41:05Speaker 1: That's just man made like hide fructose corn syrup. But
- 41:09Speaker 1: maple syrup actually comes from a tree, Like who the
- 41:12Speaker 1: hell do? And that should be like twenty.
- 41:14Speaker 2: Dollars folks bottle. But if it's sitting there a year,
- 41:18Speaker 2: I just eat pancakes.
- 41:19Speaker 1: I eat maple syrup.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even really eat pancakes like that. It's
- 41:24Speaker 2: very rare that I have a pant to but no rare,
- 41:29Speaker 2: but I'm definitely using it anchie Mama or Maple Flour
- 41:33Speaker 2: Company or whatever it's called now because they don't. They
- 41:37Speaker 2: took Anchi Mama off of it because they said it
- 41:39Speaker 2: was racist, which I disagree.
- 41:41Speaker 1: What does it say now I forgot.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Something flour company or some shit like that. But I
- 41:48Speaker 2: you know, I can understand where people are like, oh,
- 41:50Speaker 2: that's racist, take that black lady off the bottle. But
- 41:52Speaker 2: I felt like it was celebrating her, you know. I
- 41:57Speaker 2: guess it's just all about perspective. And then, and this
- 42:00Speaker 2: is another thing I use that people be like, ah,
- 42:02Speaker 2: but when it's done, it come out so good. Four
- 42:06Speaker 2: tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate. But you gotta thought,
- 42:11Speaker 2: you know, don't cut off a piece, let it throw
- 42:14Speaker 2: out and then put four tablespoons and give it just
- 42:18Speaker 2: a little tiny tang. And it's a good It's so good.
- 42:24Speaker 2: And so basically what I do is, you know, some
- 42:26Speaker 2: people boil their potatoes first, just so it cooks faster,
- 42:30Speaker 2: but I just like it to roast in the oven.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Just absorble all that diabetes and just yeah, it is
- 42:40Speaker 2: a diabetes plate. Baby, you can't eat some people, Black people,
- 42:43Speaker 2: we eat like this every Sunday. You can't eat like that.
- 42:47Speaker 2: And that's why big Mama your arm, that's why eat
- 42:51Speaker 2: it and shit all the time. But basically I just
- 42:55Speaker 2: cut the potatoes unto like peel them, cut them into
- 42:58Speaker 2: like a half inch thick circles. But you know, cut
- 43:03Speaker 2: it the best you can, because if you ain't got
- 43:04Speaker 2: a good knife, you might fuck around and cut your
- 43:06Speaker 2: hand off.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Knives get gold to order you a set of knives
- 43:11Speaker 1: a Black Friday.
- 43:12Speaker 2: So oh yeah, absolutely that's coming up, but it'll be
- 43:15Speaker 2: making cooking. It'll be too late by then. On Black Friday,
- 43:19Speaker 2: you don't chop your hand off, but get you a
- 43:23Speaker 2: good knife, because it ain't nothing worse than trying to
- 43:26Speaker 2: cut through potato with a bad knife. Trust me, I've
- 43:29Speaker 2: been there, but half inch thick. And then I put
- 43:33Speaker 2: my butter, my sugar and make like this thick syrup
- 43:36Speaker 2: out of the butter and sugar, and then I add
- 43:38Speaker 2: the cream and then really all the rest of the ingredients,
- 43:41Speaker 2: the maple to layer layered it up in a pot.
- 43:46Speaker 2: No no, I put it in the pot first and
- 43:48Speaker 2: just kind of like stirred until it's like this thick
- 43:51Speaker 2: syrupy mixture and it's thick and it's creamy because of
- 43:54Speaker 2: the heavy whipping cream. And then I put the potatoes.
- 43:58Speaker 2: I put butter down at the bottom of the pan
- 44:01Speaker 2: just a little bit, and then layer the potatoes and
- 44:03Speaker 2: then I pour that thick mixture over the top. And
- 44:06Speaker 2: then I bake it for like fifty minutes fifty minutes
- 44:09Speaker 2: to an hour covered, and then I take the fall
- 44:14Speaker 2: off and bake it for probably another twenty thirty forty minutes.
- 44:18Speaker 2: It just depends on how tender the potato is uncovered.
- 44:22Speaker 2: And baby, that shit is so good make you want
- 44:24Speaker 2: to slap your grandma.
- 44:27Speaker 1: That's my recipe I've learned with cooking, Like, I make
- 44:31Speaker 1: a lot of things very simple because simple, simple cooking
- 44:34Speaker 1: to me, taste better. I feel like sometimes we put
- 44:36Speaker 1: two s black people. Okay, we put too much shit
- 44:41Speaker 1: and food, like some things don't even call for every
- 44:45Speaker 1: season and your goddamn cabinet. So yeah, a lot of
- 44:49Speaker 1: that stuff I went and put in inside your yams.
- 44:51Speaker 1: It sounds like it might be good because I have
- 44:53Speaker 1: a I can taste it without tasting it, just based
- 44:56Speaker 1: on the ingredients, so I can see how that would
- 44:59Speaker 1: be good. But my my regular yams is a little
- 45:03Speaker 1: bit more, and I've gotten rave reviews on yams. I
- 45:06Speaker 1: remember one time I cook jams and I took it
- 45:08Speaker 1: to a potluck at work, and bitch is a surprise,
- 45:11Speaker 1: Like who the hell made these actual cut up potatoes.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I'm like, how y'all make jams, y'all? Don't cut potatoes up?
- 45:17Speaker 1: Y'all y'all eating that shit out the can with the can.
- 45:20Speaker 2: When I went to the grocery coourt, I've seen like
- 45:22Speaker 2: a stand like it was packed to the top with
- 45:25Speaker 2: them sweet potato kings, and I'm like they expected a
- 45:29Speaker 2: lot of people to buy this.
- 45:31Speaker 1: My oldest sister be using those glory greens. Girl, if
- 45:36Speaker 1: you don't buy you a bunch of greens and roll
- 45:37Speaker 1: them shit up and cut them up, cut it. That's
- 45:41Speaker 1: one thing I don't do because I don't eat meat
- 45:43Speaker 1: no more. Right, So my greens like CALLI greens. I
- 45:46Speaker 1: don't know, like I don't. I think I like greens
- 45:49Speaker 1: now without the meat, like I never I would have
- 45:52Speaker 1: never known, right had I just stopped eating like neck
- 45:54Speaker 1: boone and all that bullshit, which I would only eat
- 45:56Speaker 1: that shit around this time of year anyway, when my
- 45:58Speaker 1: mom would cook it. But I like my greens without
- 46:02Speaker 1: all that. Shouldn't it Like actual greens taste good, like
- 46:06Speaker 1: just sautee down with garlic and your seasonings and all
- 46:09Speaker 1: that stuff. You can put a little bit of liquid
- 46:10Speaker 1: smoke in there if you want that smoky flavor, because
- 46:13Speaker 1: it's not the meat that's giving your food and flavor.
- 46:16Speaker 1: It's the smoke that smoked meat. It's just smoked meat.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Though just the raw meat by itself is not gonna
- 46:22Speaker 1: taste like how it taste before you season it up
- 46:24Speaker 1: with vegetables.
- 46:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I like like cooking and meat in the pot
- 46:29Speaker 2: for a long time first and then.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Then yeah, that's how you're supposed to do it. But
- 46:36Speaker 1: my greens tastes good girl without me. I promise, I
- 46:39Speaker 1: promise it's still a good part of greens.
- 46:42Speaker 2: I'm sure it's lovely. But I love sucking on a
- 46:45Speaker 2: bone in my greens, like nice nick bone that just
- 46:50Speaker 2: I snatched out the pot. Yes, give it to me.
- 46:53Speaker 1: So now I'm gonna tell y'all, Tammy do make a
- 46:55Speaker 1: gun mac and cheese, because she actually gave me the
- 46:57Speaker 1: recipe one year and I have and making it that way,
- 47:00Speaker 1: but I've tweaked it myself, right, so I do, like
- 47:03Speaker 1: do like the root last year for.
- 47:08Speaker 2: Don't give my macaroni and cheeser.
- 47:10Speaker 1: I don't give people recipes unless we swapping one out,
- 47:12Speaker 1: and you got to be your actual cook for me
- 47:14Speaker 1: to do that with.
- 47:15Speaker 2: Like I know, I remember we were swapping and I
- 47:18Speaker 2: never got my red rice recipe.
- 47:21Speaker 1: You sure it wasn't seafood the seafood salad.
- 47:25Speaker 2: I was supposed to be red rice.
- 47:26Speaker 1: And that's because I actually I actually made you a
- 47:28Speaker 1: pan of red rice. I remember doing that.
- 47:31Speaker 2: You did, but you was also supposed to give me
- 47:33Speaker 2: the recipe.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Let me go through my text messages. I feel like
- 47:36Speaker 1: I sent you that ship because we swapped it out
- 47:38Speaker 1: with the mac and cheese, but you ain't have time
- 47:42Speaker 1: to make the red rice, so I made it.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Well, yeah, if you see it, put an explanation mark
- 47:50Speaker 2: on it so I can make it again because I
- 47:59Speaker 2: want it. Are you gonna to share the red rice
- 48:00Speaker 2: recipe with the world?
- 48:02Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't make that shit no more because
- 48:04Speaker 1: I don't eat the meat, So yeah, so share that
- 48:07Speaker 1: so I could just listen to this, and I haven't
- 48:10Speaker 1: written down neither. So this is some real live nigga
- 48:12Speaker 1: shit eyeball shit in the kitchen and if I can
- 48:15Speaker 1: even remember it completely right.
- 48:17Speaker 2: But don't put don't all right while you share this recipe.
- 48:21Speaker 2: That's why I went and wrote down my shit, because
- 48:23Speaker 2: don't say smidgeon. Don't say a little or nothing a
- 48:28Speaker 2: little bit. Don't say a little bit of this and
- 48:31Speaker 2: a smidgeon of that, because nobody can find that on
- 48:33Speaker 2: the misery cold.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Let me try, all right. And I know a lot
- 48:36Speaker 1: of women don't even know how to cook white rice,
- 48:39Speaker 1: but let me tell y'all the easiest way to cook
- 48:41Speaker 1: rice in the oven. Even if you accidentally put too
- 48:45Speaker 1: much water, it'll always still cook evenly most of the time.
- 48:49Speaker 1: So if you are like insecure about your rice cooking
- 48:52Speaker 1: skills tried in the oven, a covered aluminum pan, or
- 48:56Speaker 1: even like the glass dish. So this is what I
- 48:58Speaker 1: do with the red rice. So this is a Charleston staple.
- 49:02Speaker 1: We are some real life rice eaters around here. Okay,
- 49:05Speaker 1: this this is where all the rice plantations would have
- 49:07Speaker 1: been at during slavery.
- 49:09Speaker 2: South Carolina period. I remember my my friend her family
- 49:14Speaker 2: made a pot of rice to go side everything. Yeah, sorry,
- 49:17Speaker 2: we have order a piecea There'll still be a pot
- 49:19Speaker 2: of rice.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Why is that rice on the side and your thumb
- 49:21Speaker 1: up while you eating it? You know, I guess that
- 49:25Speaker 1: people eating with their hand on the side of the
- 49:27Speaker 1: plate with their thumb up.
- 49:28Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, right.
- 49:32Speaker 1: Anyway, So I like to use Uncle Ben's parboiled rice
- 49:38Speaker 1: so you can get They do sell like the one
- 49:40Speaker 1: box of it, which is two cups of rice. And
- 49:43Speaker 1: this is how people also mess up just cooking white rice.
- 49:46Speaker 1: It's your measurement, right, So it's one part rice to
- 49:51Speaker 1: two cups of water. So if you got two cups
- 49:53Speaker 1: of water, I mean two cups of rice, you're gonna
- 49:55Speaker 1: be using four cups of water. So with the red rice, though,
- 49:59Speaker 1: one of those cups of water. It's gonna be you
- 50:03Speaker 1: wanna mix sure tomato paste in it. So let me
- 50:06Speaker 1: give you all a quick ingredients right quick. So the
- 50:09Speaker 1: here's what you wanna get. And this is for the
- 50:10Speaker 1: meat eaters, cause I don't think red rice tastes good
- 50:13Speaker 1: without like that greasy fat. Okay, So you wanna get
- 50:17Speaker 1: some bacon m I d used to use, like the
- 50:22Speaker 1: beef sausage. I wasn't using pork sausage. But here and Charleston,
- 50:25Speaker 1: somebody Grandma house. They gonna have them Roger Woods up
- 50:27Speaker 1: in there. Okay, but you can get you some Hellshire
- 50:30Speaker 1: Farm beef sausage and a pack of bacon. Okay, you
- 50:36Speaker 1: want your Alcoa Bens par boil rice. It has to
- 50:39Speaker 1: be par boiled, okay for this recipe. Uh, what's the
- 50:47Speaker 1: dam not Campbell's hunts So hunts Or. I can't even
- 50:52Speaker 1: remember this other brand of tomato paste, but they have
- 50:56Speaker 1: now they have like the Italian seasoned one. It's like
- 50:58Speaker 1: a Regano garlic. It's like an Italian it says it
- 51:03Speaker 1: on a can of Italian season tomato paste. So use
- 51:07Speaker 1: the one one one can of tomato paste. And this
- 51:10Speaker 1: is also important. Okay, the measurement of the of the
- 51:13Speaker 1: tomato paste, salt pepper. You want to get some green peppers.
- 51:20Speaker 1: I like to use the tricolor peppers. Y'all get a
- 51:22Speaker 1: bag of the sweet peppers. I use those. So some
- 51:26Speaker 1: people like the big ass bell peppers, but I like
- 51:28Speaker 1: the small sweet peppers. I'll get a bag of the
- 51:30Speaker 1: sweet peppers. Sweet onion. I know people like more of
- 51:35Speaker 1: the hearty savory taste. I like sweet shit, so I
- 51:39Speaker 1: like yellow vdelia onions, So I'll get just get one
- 51:43Speaker 1: big onion. You I'm gonna use the whole thing. What
- 51:46Speaker 1: else is up in there? Bell pepper, onion meats. That's
- 51:56Speaker 1: it for the most part. Okay, So now you're gonna
- 52:02Speaker 1: mix your four cups, so you're gonna wash your rice.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Let me start there. Wash your rice, Okay, just don't
- 52:11Speaker 1: put it in the wash. Some of that start you
- 52:13Speaker 1: off of it. Yeah, and just whatever what else it
- 52:18Speaker 1: might be mental with black people while we wash everything.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I seen somebody washing ground beef, and I don't I
- 52:24Speaker 1: don't know what planet that makes sense on, but I
- 52:27Speaker 1: saw it.
- 52:29Speaker 2: But no, let me interject. We had a cookout from
- 52:33Speaker 2: my grandma's eightieth birthday, and like, like different dishes were
- 52:38Speaker 2: delegated to different family members because we were feeding so
- 52:41Speaker 2: many people. And one of our cousins and I ain't
- 52:46Speaker 2: gonna say which cousin cause she might listen to the show.
- 52:49Speaker 2: Who get mad? I call her out? She can't. She
- 52:52Speaker 2: live in Florida, so she uh drove up for the party,
- 52:56Speaker 2: and she was in charge of the greens. So I
- 52:59Speaker 2: was wondering where she was gonna make the greens at,
- 53:02Speaker 2: you know. So she ended up cooking it at my
- 53:06Speaker 2: grandma house the morning of the party, right, so I'm like, okay, cool,
- 53:09Speaker 2: we made her place. They were seasoned to perfection. They
- 53:11Speaker 2: were so good, and everybody was like, ooh, these greens
- 53:14Speaker 2: are so good. She was like, yeah, I had to
- 53:16Speaker 2: make so much. She was like, I had to wash
- 53:19Speaker 2: all them greens at the tub at the hotel last night. Baby,
- 53:23Speaker 2: I bout threw up on the ground.
- 53:25Speaker 1: So people in the bathtub at the hotel.
- 53:30Speaker 2: First of all, washing in the bathtub where you wash
- 53:33Speaker 2: your body is out of line. I don't think you
- 53:35Speaker 2: should do that. Then you should find a way to
- 53:37Speaker 2: get them in the sink. Do as much as you
- 53:39Speaker 2: can in the kitchen, sink where food, body parts and
- 53:41Speaker 2: food don't go in the same sink to me, But okay,
- 53:45Speaker 2: but but hotel's bathtub is next level. Baby. Everybody was like.
- 53:55Speaker 1: Her ethnicity.
- 53:58Speaker 2: I was so st could not believe. She said, yeah,
- 54:01Speaker 2: I had to. It was so many greens. I had
- 54:03Speaker 2: to just watch them in the hotel tub.
- 54:09Speaker 1: I thought it was a myth. So apparently some black
- 54:12Speaker 1: people do wash collar greens in the bathtub.
- 54:14Speaker 2: That is wild. That's wild to me. But maybe she
- 54:18Speaker 2: put like a liner down or something. I still was
- 54:21Speaker 2: just like.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Or maybe she was just renting them off in there,
- 54:24Speaker 1: not really like putting them in the bathtub.
- 54:26Speaker 2: And I don't know. All I heard was tubb and
- 54:28Speaker 2: I through the whole.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Plate and you already hat it now and it was good.
- 54:33Speaker 2: All it was all over good.
- 54:34Speaker 1: Nana shillings off random people's bodies up.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Ballsack juice and my colle greens from some random ball
- 54:42Speaker 2: sack is next level.
- 54:46Speaker 1: Yes, go ahead, sorry, So now okay, wash the rice, Okay,
- 54:50Speaker 1: put it to the side in a large pot, deep pot.
- 54:56Speaker 1: You want to get your again. We're doing this is
- 54:59Speaker 1: for two cups of rice. If you're just doing a
- 55:01Speaker 1: small which two cups of rice is actually a lot
- 55:05Speaker 1: that could feed like a good sized family of people,
- 55:08Speaker 1: unless you got people like Tammy who want like five servants. Okay,
- 55:14Speaker 1: so two cups of rice. So you're gonna take three
- 55:17Speaker 1: cups of water, pour it into your pot. Then that
- 55:19Speaker 1: last cup of water, you're gonna take your tomato paste,
- 55:23Speaker 1: put that in your measuring cup, and then fill it
- 55:26Speaker 1: with water. Because tomatoes produce a lot of moisture, produces
- 55:30Speaker 1: a lot of water already. So this is where you
- 55:32Speaker 1: don't want to accidentally put too much water, right, You
- 55:35Speaker 1: don't want to do the four cups plus the tomato paste.
- 55:38Speaker 1: You know it's gonna be then too much water. So
- 55:40Speaker 1: do to three cups first, and then put your tomato
- 55:43Speaker 1: paste in your measuring cup and then add water to
- 55:46Speaker 1: top that one off to the one cup total. Pour
- 55:48Speaker 1: that in there. Do all your seasonings and another pot.
- 55:52Speaker 1: And I might be mixing this up a little bit, Okay, sorry,
- 55:55Speaker 1: because I ain't write nothing down. This is how we
- 55:58Speaker 1: do it. So in another pot, you want to take
- 56:01Speaker 1: your your bacon and sausage. I put them all in
- 56:03Speaker 1: the pot at the same time, like it's all going
- 56:05Speaker 1: in the same stomach, same fork. So you start with
- 56:08Speaker 1: the bacon because that's going to produce your grease for
- 56:10Speaker 1: your sausage. Right, sautee all that up. You're you're gonna
- 56:14Speaker 1: cut up your onions and your peppers. You want to
- 56:18Speaker 1: put that also inside. You're in the pot which your
- 56:23Speaker 1: your meats and sage, big all at all salted up,
- 56:26Speaker 1: all good. And then how do I usually do it?
- 56:34Speaker 1: Just you want to keep that kind of separate because
- 56:36Speaker 1: you want to keep that grease, right, That grease from
- 56:39Speaker 1: this meat is very important, right, It's really if you
- 56:42Speaker 1: want to get all the diabetes you can stand that
- 56:45Speaker 1: grease is important. So now in your other pot, you
- 56:48Speaker 1: have your your rice, your tomato paste, and you want
- 56:51Speaker 1: to season it up. I do add a little sugar
- 56:53Speaker 1: because that's going to cut the bitterness of the tomato pace. Yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 1: so season it up. You can eat like a towel. Seasoning.
- 57:02Speaker 1: You could just use just salt and pepper, but I
- 57:04Speaker 1: do beast it up a little bit, so Italian season
- 57:06Speaker 1: a little bit of onion powder, a little bit of
- 57:08Speaker 1: garlic powder, and your salt and pepper. Okay, season up
- 57:13Speaker 1: with that. Then you're gonna take your rice, put your
- 57:16Speaker 1: rice in there. Once that comes to a boiled then
- 57:18Speaker 1: you add your rice. Right, so you are going to
- 57:20Speaker 1: start on the stove with this particular recipe, and that's
- 57:23Speaker 1: just to soften the rice a little bit. Once you
- 57:27Speaker 1: do that, you then add your meats into your pot
- 57:31Speaker 1: of rice and your liquids. You then't gonna transfer that
- 57:38Speaker 1: into an aluminum pan.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Right, So at this point, you've cooked all the water out.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Of it, for the most part, not all of it.
- 57:47Speaker 1: You want it still a little bit. You want you
- 57:49Speaker 1: want some of that water to still be in this
- 57:50Speaker 1: You're not cooking it down completely, So I would say
- 57:53Speaker 1: on the stove, cook it. Cook it in the pot
- 57:55Speaker 1: for maybe fifteen minutes max. Twenty minutes max. All right,
- 58:02Speaker 1: and then you transfer all of your stuff that's in
- 58:05Speaker 1: the pot to an aluminum pan or a glass pan,
- 58:09Speaker 1: and then you pour your excess grease. Wait wait, wait, wait,
- 58:13Speaker 1: let me back up. That's not that's not.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 58:16Speaker 1: You cover your aluminum pan right to seal it all in,
- 58:20Speaker 1: and you cook it for about forty five minutes in
- 58:22Speaker 1: the oven. Take it out the oven, and this is
- 58:25Speaker 1: where you pour your grease all on top of it,
- 58:29Speaker 1: stir it up, cover it back up. Because rice cooks
- 58:33Speaker 1: a little bit different than the oven. You don't want
- 58:35Speaker 1: the top to end up being rice cake.
- 58:37Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 58:38Speaker 1: Okay, And it's done basically.
- 58:41Speaker 2: Well, yeah, ain't here where you add the meat.
- 58:43Speaker 1: All the meat was in the pot with the saute vegetables.
- 58:46Speaker 2: Remember, oh, okay, souk, the rice is all in. The
- 58:50Speaker 2: meat is already.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Yeah, the meat is already, but you want to save
- 58:53Speaker 1: that excess grease though, So if you want to pour
- 58:55Speaker 1: the grease out to the side and then pull your
- 58:57Speaker 1: meat and stuff inside the pot, but you want to
- 58:59Speaker 1: keep that grease off to the side because that is
- 59:02Speaker 1: like the last piece. So you don't have like super
- 59:04Speaker 1: dry ass rice either, So that kind of like gives
- 59:08Speaker 1: it that sticky But I like, I like my rice
- 59:11Speaker 1: to bunks off the plate. I don't like rice pudding.
- 59:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's what happens sometimes. I've had red rice
- 59:17Speaker 2: where it's just mush.
- 59:18Speaker 1: Yeah. See, And that's how people be adding too much water,
- 59:21Speaker 1: like the measurement I was saying about the tomato paste
- 59:23Speaker 1: versus how much water you're already putting in there. That's
- 59:27Speaker 1: where yeah, people especially just cooking it straight on the
- 59:30Speaker 1: stove too. If you don't have that water measured properly.
- 59:33Speaker 1: You're gonna have paste, You're gonna have like mush.
- 59:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:37Speaker 1: So cooking rice in the oven it evens even if
- 59:41Speaker 1: you accidentally use too much water. It's still gonna cook
- 59:44Speaker 1: evenly in the oven because you just cook it a
- 59:45Speaker 1: little bit longer and you're not gonna burn your rice up.
- 59:49Speaker 2: And let me tell you a way to get a
- 59:50Speaker 2: scorched flavor off your rice.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Bread.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Put a piece of bread in there. If y'all don't
- 59:55Speaker 2: know a lot of people don't know that, put a
- 59:58Speaker 2: piece of bread in there and it will absorb that.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: That's a South Carolina I wonder if y'all know that
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: in other places, or if we just know that in
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: the South cat.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I think that's some South Carolina shit. I be realizing
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: a lot of shit just be it be low country shit,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: it be South Carolina stuff that people don't even be
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: doing or saying.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: I remember one time I went to U d C.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Because one of my friends, this is in college, she
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: was from DC. And I went to like I was
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: cool with a bunch of DC chicks and I went
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: to like all of their houses. While I was in DC,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: I spent the night with one and the other than
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: the other and one of them. Grandma was so happy
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: to have me there because she was from the South,
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: but she had moved to DC when she was young
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: and hadn't been back to the South. And she was like, yeah,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: my my Carolina girl, and she wanted to make me
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: some food. And she was so excited to cook for me,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: and that food was nice. She had got her roots.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: Whatever you do, make sure y'all leave the stress out
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: the cooking. Don't be adding no extra stress to the food. Okay,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I think that's how a lot of people be stressed
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: out while they cooking, and the food taste stressful. Why
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you'll call it greens taste like stress.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Like unhappiness, like you didn't want to make it. That's
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: what happens to my pop pie.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: You had a little extra stress in there. Yeah, you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: gotta be happy to cook. Like cooking really makes me happy,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: but I don't like it to be I don't make
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: me feel like I gotta cook though. I feel a
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: way about that. I told you about that shit last week.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I don't gotta do a motherfucking thing. I'm a guest.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: I don't always want to have to cook, though, because
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: it is time consuming. I hate the clean up after cooking.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the part I don't like, is to clean up.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: I love trying a new recipe. I got so many
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: recipes save that I ain't never made. But it's I
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: like cooking for other people. Like when it comes to
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: just like making it for myself, I'll be like, this
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: is a lot to do for just me, so I
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: end up just ordering food. But what cooking for I
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: like cooking for other people. I like looking at people's
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: face and being like you.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: Like that, Now you gotta tell me, like immediately, I
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: need to know exactly how it tastes right now.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes me happy.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I don't know how to cook small portions. That's why
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: I really like eat a bunch of eleshit during it
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: throughout the week, because I don't know how to cook
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: small portions and stuff Like I wish I knew how,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: but I end up making all of this food and
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I'm eating the shit for a whole week.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: I wish they need to come out. Somebody needs to
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: come out with a grocery store line called single and
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: it should be like half of everything, half loaf of bread,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: half carton and eggs has a.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: Good idea, Yeah, that's a good idea.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Because it's more people single than it is together, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: we need half portra sizes.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: God damnit wasting food man. By the time I finished,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: I got so much frozen bread in my freezing because
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: I just like take half of it and then I
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: put the other half the freezer because I know I'm
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: not gonna eat all of it. And it's not that
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: I don't have a second person to eat the shit.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: We just really are diets, not really aligne like that.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Like he like hardy ass beans nigga food, I don't
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: really eat like that no more. So you have to
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: get that outside the house. Like I did cook that
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: nigga's steak for his birthday, but I don't like touching meat. Typically,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: I don't like touching it. Let me tell y'all what
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: he did yesterday. So yesterday morning, he wakes up and
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: goes to the grocery store and comes back with some nice,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: beautiful flowers. Is he get me flowers every week? Okay,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: I really appreciate my new flowers every week. But he
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: came back with four cans of salmon with all his
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: vegetables and all that shit. He was like, you're about
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: to make me some salmon patties. I'm like, no, I'm
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: not making I'm about to go to the gym, and
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I got other shit to do. I'm not about to cook.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Like it's time consuming to make salmon patties.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: Right, salmon patties don't take that lot.
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: I feel like it. So now later on in the afternoon,
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: early afternoon, I'm looking he left the house. I'm looking
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: for the cans. I'm like, what the what the hell
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: are the where's the Kansas salmon? I facetimed this nigga.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: He turned the camera around. He got his homeboy who
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he was in prison with the setup, cooking the setup.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: I said, no, I said, I knew when I I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: knew he had taken that them salmon somewhere to be cooked.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: He said, don't worry about somebody else break knowing, nigga,
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: that will at least he ain't take it to a
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: bitch house.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: That's exactly why I facetimed that, nigga, Like, where you
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: at with the salmon? Wish you might be at a
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: bitch house getting fat? You better stay there. All your
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: ship gonna be outside when you come back.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: But having salmon, and.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Now mind you, I still I had two other Kansas
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: salmon in here, so I went ahead and made some
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: salmon patties yesterday. We in the bed l last night.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: He like, you you got all the salmon patties you
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: wanted out the bunch you made. I'm like, didn't you
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: have something at your homeboy house? Y'all have four cans?
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: He was like, well, his donna taste like yours. Yeah,
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: that's why you should have fucking waited, And like, why
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: I get I don't get no salmon patties, your big
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: greedy ass. You have four cans over there, and two
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: cans were at the salmon patties over here.
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: I'm a man, you know, girl thing?
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: Why does Nigga sent me a picture last week from work?
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: One of these the guys who worked with him, was
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: arguing with his wife that morning and she packed his lunch.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: The lunch was too slices of bread with a fucking
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: whole crab in the middle, a blue crab in the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: middle with.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: The shell and all shit. I don't want to see.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: She was mad.
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: She's dad asked wrong for that? Like that, Nigga. He
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: took a bite out of it too. It was a
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: little crab in the middle, don't fight her. Cut your
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: mouth up.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: Do you have a contail that you want to share?
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Yes, I do have a drink and this could be
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: made with alcohol or you could do it like a
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: little mocktail, because like I said, I ain't drinking no more.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Man that should be having me feeling fucked up. Okay,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: so this is afore. This is for a la paloma. Okay.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: So you need two ounces of fresh grapefruit juice simple syrup.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: So if you you know, don't have like, you don't
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: have to buy simple syrup. You could use sugar and water.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: That's essentially what simple syrup is. But they do sell
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: bottles of simple syrup fresh lime juice, so that's an
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: el excuse me. A half an ounce of simple syrup,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: three fourth cups of fresh lime juice, splash of club soda,
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and a little grapefruit red wedge for garnish. And I
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: would like to add a little ginger to this, Okay.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I like to spice things up, and ginger is good
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: for like, you know, cleansing eyes, fresh ginger or fresh ginger.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: So yeah, you can either I use my bullet. Usually
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I just put the whole ginger root in there, add
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: a little bit of water lit it blend up, and
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: then I strain it. Yeah, and then you could just
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: do a little splash of ginger and these ingredients, so
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: your directions, you know, to make it come all together.
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: And then you can add tequila if you want to. Okay,
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: you can add like a little ounce ounce and a
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: half of tequila if you want to, but I would
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: like mine without liquor, please. So you add all the
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: ingredients together, including the club soda, shake it vigorously for
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: about twenty seconds. So this is a shaken not stirred
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: type of drink with club soda. Yeah, hmm, it's going
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: to fizzle up. I guess you ain't shaking it for
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: twenty seconds and pour it into a glass. I like
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: to use sugar on my rim, not salt, so do
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: like a little sugar rim. And no, I'm tripping so no,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: it actually says, and I've made this before, it actually
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: says you don't put the club soda in with the
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: shaking part, okay, excluding the club soda. Sorry bartender. You know, yeah,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: as soon as I heard clothes, I was like, I
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: was crazy. Then you top it off with the splash
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: of the club soda. Okay, put your little grapefruit regi
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: on their and that is your la paloma.
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: That sounds delicious. So my drink I have is pretty
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: easy to make. It's called a Texas point setter, and
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: point ceta is one of my favorite plants at the
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: holiday time. My grandmother would have them all over the
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: house when I was a kid. So every time every
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: year for Christmas, I pull in my eye, have fake
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: ones because the real ones don't live at my house.
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: But so I have fake ones and I pull them
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: all over because it just makes me think of my
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: grandmother during the holidays and I miss her so much.
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: But the Texas point set up is literally prosecco cranberry juice.
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: So a point set of is prosecco and cranberry juice.
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: Very nice, It's good to have if you don't like, like,
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: what is it not mohedos? What do you have champagne
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: and orange juice? What's all? God?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Well, when one person can remember some shit, everybody mimosa. Yeah,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: if you.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Don't like a mimosa, I don't have the citrus and
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: the orange juice be fucking my gut up. So I
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: don't really like a whole bunch of orange juice. So
- 1:09:43Speaker 2: if I have a momosa, it's just like I just
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: coked the cup and a little orange and then poor champagne.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: If you don't like that. Prosecco cranberry juice in the
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: Texas part, shout out to my Texas girlies. You put
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: a shot of Tito's in it, and baby, those will
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: fuck you up. I'm telling you, be fucked up on
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: the holidays a Texas point set of So that's really
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: easy to make. Cranberry juice, prosecco and a shot of
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: vodka Teitos Tito specifically, just because it's a low carb
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: and get you fucked up. And then I have another
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: drink that's for the family. And this is like a
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: big punch. This is a holiday punch and it's really easy.
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: It's a bunch of stuff in it though. It's one
