  You know, relationships, wow, let's get started, are one of the greatest gifts God... has given us.

  But they're also one of the biggest challenges.

  Why? Because love isn't just about feelings. It's about faith, patience, and honesty.

  And let's be real. Let's be real real for a second. Sometimes you fall in love
• 1:44
  with someone who doesn't share your faith.
• 1:46
  Maybe they're curious about God, but haven't found Him yet.
• 1:51
  Maybe they used to believe, but got hurt by the church. or maybe,
• 1:57
  just maybe, they just don't understand why faith means so much to you.

  When that happens, it's definitely not easy. No, it's not.
• 2:07
  I've been there. There's a time in my life when I care deeply for someone who
• 2:12
  didn't walk with God the way I did at first.
• 2:16
  And at first I thought, it's fine. I'll pray harder. I'll show them what faith looks like by actions.

  And for a while, it worked.
• 2:27
  Until it didn't. Because here's the thing.
• 2:31
  Faith isn't something you can force on anyone. Faith has to be chosen, not imposed.
• 2:39
  I learned that the hard way. There were days I prayed for patience and nights I prayed for peace.

  And God didn't give me what I asked for right away. He gave me time.
• 2:53
  Time to learn that love without faith feels like walking into two different directions.

  Hoping you'll meet in the middle. But even then, God reminded me,
• 3:07
  you can't judge someone for their journey just because it doesn't look like yours.
• 3:14
  Now, I know what many of you are thinking.
• 3:18
  The Bible says that in 2 Corinthians 6, verse 14, to not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.
• 3:28
  And yes, that's true.
• 3:31
  But that verse isn't a punishment. It's a protection.
• 3:35
  God isn't saying, don't love someone who doesn't believe. He's saying,
• 3:40
  be careful who you let shape your heart.
• 3:43
  Because faith isn't just something you talk about. It's something that guides
• 3:49
  every part of your relationship.
• 3:52
  When a person walks by faith and the other walks by sight, it can create tension.
• 3:59
  But God doesn't tell us to give up.
• 4:02
  He tells us to pray up.
• 4:05
  Relationships require patience, especially patience in prayer.

  We live in a world that wants instant results, or as I call it,
• 4:16
  instant gratification.
• 4:18
  Swipe right, text fast, move on.
• 4:21
  But God says, be still and know that I am God.

  When you pray for your partner, you're not just praying for them to change.

  You're asking God to prepare you both for his plan.
• 4:37
  And that plan might not look like what you expect, but it will always lead to peace.

  Let's talk about something real. Communication Too many couples today talk at

  each other Instead of to each other And when that happens Love starts to fade
• 4:57
  And lies start to creep in People say Oh,

  it's just a little lie But you know what.
• 5:08
  There's no such thing as a little lie when it comes to love.
• 5:12
  Because lies don't just break trust. They break connection.
• 5:17
  You can't lie to each other, and you definitely can't lie to God.

  When you love someone, honesty should be your language.
• 5:28
  Trust should be your foundation. and God should be your translator.
• 5:34
  And remember, communication isn't just talking, it's listening.

  When your partner speaks, listen not to respond, but to understand that's where growth happens.

  Now, for my youngest listeners out there, let's get real for a second.

  You might be listening in your car, on your way to school, thinking,

  angel, come on, I'm not even dating right now.

  What does this even have to do with me? Well, everything.

  Because how you build your relationship with God today will determine how you

  build your relationships tomorrow.

  Don't chase, hear that word, expression.

  Don't chase love before you've learned how to love yourself in Christ.

  When you know who you are in God's eyes, you won't settle for less than you deserve. Wait.

  Wait for the one who respects your faith, even if they don't fully understand it yet.

  Let's think about a real moment, about love and grace.

  I've seen relationships fall apart, not because there wasn't love,
• 6:49
  but because there wasn't faith.

  I've also seen relationships grow stronger when both partners made the decision
• 6:56
  to pray together Even if they were still figuring it out If you're listening

  to this right now and you're in that space Maybe,

  maybe your relationship feels off balance Don't give up Pray, talk,

  forgive And remember love is a verb It's not about what you say It's about what you do.
